Aoa so to think about some of that, Stuff to
think about some of the people that own this radio,
station you, Know, General General, ELECTRIC, Nbc Bob hope all
at one time.

Station and this is not to minimize what you guys
are doing every. Night you're setting a standard in town
Talking broncos at, night and you have been for a long.
Time But, ben you got to radio. Late nick you got,

were a professional football player for a long long. Time
jojo has been doing professional. Radio, well his dad did it.

Forever he's been doing it since he was a. Teenager
AND i was lucky enough to grow up In dallas
when The ticket hit the air the YEAR i started,
driving which is one of the premier time.

channel stations THAT i remember being a kid in college
In la Bus cousin listening To rockies games in the
summer in the late, nineties listening To Texas rangers games.

Like FOR kaa to listen thirty eight states at. Night,
Well i'll go one further For i'll go what my
first exposure TO.

Koa it was in nineteen ninety six WHEN i was
in high school AND i could turn THE am nil
on AND i could Hear nuggets.

Arkansas, yeah SO i mean when you really think about,
so the sun is going down here obviously In, denver
and when the sun goes, down there are radio stations
all across the country that are considered. Daytimers and what
a daytimer radio station does is it lowers its power
when the sun goes.

Down and so when it lowers.

Its, power you, know this company used to be called Clear,
channel and part of what that term MEANS koa is
a true clear channel radio, station which means when those
stations lower their, power this one like a gangster straight.
Through so at, nights this radio, station the fifty thousand
Watt voice The, west covers thirteen, States, mexico the, country And.

Canada, WELL i can tell you from personal, experience you
can get it down In. Arkansas oh, yeah you can get, It.
BELIZE i can tell You i've got it in both
SO i can deftually get.

LA i remember listening to A rockies game in Downtown Los.

you guys to know that you've worked for a company

how important is that to know that this station has
been around for one hundred? Years and when you go

STATION i saw some of the things that on micro. Way,
yes oh, listen really through no. Listen we went through
all of that stuff and they did an incredible. Job
they've got massive amounts of scrap books on this radio
station because it is part of the history of being.

a pretty good year football. Wise so we launched a
station Called Denver sports seven to. Sixty it was short,
lived But Dave, logan who had been at kaa forever
and obviously calling the, games he And Susie wargen AND

i were launching the station With Eddie mack And Andy
lindahll and Romy bean and it was a lot of
national program about some local stuff in the, morning love
stuff at night or in the. Afternoon and so in
the first month The broncos going this crazy run and
Win Super bowl. Fifty but that was On Denver sports
seven sixty THAT i was on every day the. PARADE

i grab a machine called A comrades radio people, know
with a wireless, card AND i go down AND i
Tell Kathy, walker mind, You i've been here a month
and a, half AND i, said, Hey i'm gonna get people.

On i'm gonna Get broncos players. ON i go down
to the.

Staging area at Cors, field and so Got Owen daniels,
on Got Brandon marshall to the linebacker, on got a
couple other players on Maybe Todd davis put them on
headsets as the parade's about to. Start and THEN i
as the parade starts to, go AND i, realized after're
going to we did great with the abs and, nuggets
braides and walking with, THOSE i got, Asked, Hey, brandon

Trucks it wasn't even like a fire. TRUCK i got
to just be with some of the similar to some
of The well he was, like, Well i'm. There CAN
i get A Super? Bowl? Yeah our Pout.

Scott bleak, said, hey you know is, right AND i was, like,
oh this is more. Efficient but so THEN i was
checking in from the parade. Rounde i'm, like, hey we're
eighteenth then whatever it. Was and so to have been
here knowing the history OF, koa having listened to it
in high, school in college in DOWNTOWN, la In, Lawrence, kansas.

In dallas WHERE i grew.

Up and then to be on it as The, broncos
And i've been in town at that point almost a.
Decade So i've been here a decade cover The broncos
and they had just won A Super bowl and to
be a part of the parade and covering it FOR,
koa knowing that anyone that wasn't here and this is.
Looked the internet does obviously, grown but plenty of people
in the metro were listening to our parade coverage ON koa.

That day and to be a part of. That nothing

That AND i was within my first six, weeks SO
i guess it was all.

DOWNHILL i. THINK i think for, me it's it's it's

when nine to eleven happened AND i was working AT

all the radio stations simulcast K.

On every radio station we have in this building because you,
know our country was under. Attack you really didn't know
everything was going. On so that is a very extremely you,
KNOW i can remember The broncos played the very first
game And power and Power field at that. Time at that,
time Sports Authority field and uh, yeah we we played

The giants and The Giant. Field giants couldn't get out
of here because obviously everything that was going on was
In New. York so that that's memory number.

in news, breaks you have to be guilty of what
you are as a radio, station and FOR, koa that
is the station that is providing the information for the
community to make sure that they have everything that they
need to know what is going on and to put
their fears.

Consumer AND i remember at that POINT i wasn't a
part of the afternoon show and they were, like, Hey,

People in and a round so we were able to
kind of link some of them, in but they were
obviously SERVING.

effort over the last couple of years is just to get,
gritty gritty lacrosse players on the team and that. Play
they're ready for the. Challenge you, know it's two games
in fourteen to fifteen, hours and it's going to be a,
challenge and we're going to take it one game at a.

Time and then we haven't even talked about game two.
Yet so we'll go through our normal resk ritual tomorrow
with film and you, know it's a kind of a
travel league and it's easy to do film. Together so
we'll get a shoot around in the morning and then
we'll get them all buttoned up and we'll do the same,

thing you, know Earlier saturday morning for our next. Game
So they're pretty focused and intelligent, guys so we'll be
able to keep them. Focused and you, know there's a
lot of, stake.

Sure you KNOW i got into, this, yeah in twenty,
eleven and you KNOW i had all the wins and
losses in my playing, career AND i always made it
about the guys more than. Myself so WHEN i heard
that this, year, YEAH i, guess you, Know i'm competitive
enough that it lights a little bit of a. Fire

but in the, offseason we did a great job acquiring
some talent that just kind of boosted where we're. At you,
know our final position was only played last.

And a guy that we acquired from The cannons who's
A canadian kind of finisher picker hasn't really showed up
in the, scorebook but you, know we just are working
on getting grittier and better guys In And Jared bernhardt

was one of our pickups after week one and he's
been playing ever since and getting. Better you, know he's
been playing you, know football and the football strict after
after winning The Heisman award of lacrosse The twarton that
day twenty one or twenty, two so he's been chasing
the football dream and and he came back and he

has just gotten better every. Game so he's a difference
maker for.

Picked Up pat cav in the, offseason who is another
tour time, winner and we already had two on the,
team so we're stacked, offensively and we played very smart
the defensive game and we communicate pretty. Well so it's,

Been a fun season so. Far starting on two.

And putting in our number number eleven overall draft. Pick
logan mcnahey From maryland was a key key AT us
and we've gone six and oh since, then so it's
been u kind of the tail two seasons so, far.

Coach but we watched over the years the game of
lacrosse has actually, grown you, know exponental exponentially and what
we usually look at the sport it is normally really
large on The East, coast but we've seen it progressively.
Grow for those individuals who have not seen the lacrosse,
game what would you tell them to get them engage

in the sport and we have them watch.

More, YEAH i would say it's got the physicality of you,
know football and. Hockey it's got a lot of the
offense of stay, basketball a lot of picks and different
things along those. Lines but they've always called it the
fastest game on two. Feet it's just it's a it's

a game that you play kind of in the gray,
area so you see something different almost every time you.
Play so you, know depending on how people, play you,
know your best lead plans or your play that you
were in all of a sudden turns into you, know
broken plays and like in that football and you, know

just some incredible broken play situations that end up in
just huge.

Highlights, well, COACH i know you guys have a game,

Its, power you, know this company used to be called Clear,
channel and part of what that term MEANS koa is

national program about some local stuff in the, morning love

the first month The broncos going this crazy run and

seven sixty THAT i was on every day the. PARADE

i grab a machine called A comrades radio people, know
with a wireless, card AND i go down AND i

and a, half AND i, said, Hey i'm gonna get people.

Staging area at Cors, field and so Got Owen daniels,

as the parade starts to, go AND i, realized after're
going to we did great with the abs and, nuggets
braides and walking with, THOSE i got, Asked, Hey, brandon

Trucks it wasn't even like a fire. TRUCK i got
to just be with some of the similar to some

focused especially known as though it's a homecoming for you

effort over the last couple of years is just to get,
gritty gritty lacrosse players on the team and that. Play
they're ready for the. Challenge you, know it's two games
in fourteen to fifteen, hours and it's going to be a,
challenge and we're going to take it one game at a.

Time and then we haven't even talked about game two.
Yet so we'll go through our normal resk ritual tomorrow
with film and you, know it's a kind of a
travel league and it's easy to do film. Together so
we'll get a shoot around in the morning and then
we'll get them all buttoned up and we'll do the same,

thing you, know Earlier saturday morning for our next. Game
So they're pretty focused and intelligent, guys so we'll be
able to keep them. Focused and you, know there's a
lot of, stake.

pursuit of the ring is he's obviously goal one for
any team in any.

Sure you KNOW i got into, this, yeah in twenty,
eleven and you KNOW i had all the wins and
losses in my playing, career AND i always made it
about the guys more than. Myself so WHEN i heard
that this, year, YEAH i, guess you, Know i'm competitive
enough that it lights a little bit of a. Fire

but in the, offseason we did a great job acquiring
some talent that just kind of boosted where we're. At you,
know our final position was only played last.

been playing you, know football and the football strict after
after winning The Heisman award of lacrosse The twarton that
day twenty one or twenty, two so he's been chasing
the football dream and and he came back and he

has just gotten better every. Game so he's a difference
maker for.

Picked Up pat cav in the, offseason who is another
tour time, winner and we already had two on the,
team so we're stacked, offensively and we played very smart
the defensive game and we communicate pretty. Well so it's,

Been a fun season so. Far starting on two.

And putting in our number number eleven overall draft. Pick
logan mcnahey From maryland was a key key AT us
and we've gone six and oh since, then so it's
been u kind of the tail two seasons so, far.

Coach but we watched over the years the game of
lacrosse has actually, grown you, know exponental exponentially and what
we usually look at the sport it is normally really
large on The East, coast but we've seen it progressively.
Grow for those individuals who have not seen the lacrosse,
game what would you tell them to get them engage

in the sport and we have them watch.

More, YEAH i would say it's got the physicality of you,
know football and. Hockey it's got a lot of the
offense of stay, basketball a lot of picks and different
things along those. Lines but they've always called it the
fastest game on two. Feet it's just it's a it's

a game that you play kind of in the gray,
area so you see something different almost every time you.
Play so you, know depending on how people, play you,
know your best lead plans or your play that you
were in all of a sudden turns into you, know
broken plays and like in that football and you, know

just some incredible broken play situations that end up in
just huge.

Highlights, well, COACH i know you guys have a game,
tomorrow with two games between tomorrow And. Saturday if you
guys definitely want to, GO i think that the game
tomorrow at six. THIRTY i think that game is pretty
much sold out At Pete Bardin.
