Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to it. Brock goes country tonight. Benjamin al Bright
here with you, Grant Smith back there behind the glass.
Short show tonight obviously post Rockies edition five six six
nine zero is a text line interesting day out there

(00:21):
at camp. I want to hear what you guys want
to know. The defense continues to play very well. I
think everybody has eyes on the quarterback situation obviously, so
we'll talk a little bit about that and whatever else

(00:42):
you guys want to get to five six six nine zero.
Justin Simmons today in New Orleans with the Saints, I
was told that that was originally going to be like
a like a leverage play and letting that out there
with an effort to sort of get some of these

(01:03):
other teams that have been dragging their feet here to
get everything done finalized, ready to go to get somebody
to pull the trigger. But who knows. I mean, you
get inside the building, and obviously Joe Woods is down there,
his defensive coordinator knows, Justin very well was here what
he was drafted. You get somebody inside the building and
things could change, and so you know, I don't know

(01:25):
that he isn't going to sign down. There could very
much sign down there. They have fourteen and change and
available cap space this year currently, so that's something you
could potentially see happening. I had originally thought it was
going to be Culture Texans, but we'll see how that
plays out. But yes, Justine Simmons worked out today, physicals,

(01:47):
all that kind of stuff, meetings with the Saints. What
else have we got going on around the league right now?
The Brandon Ayuk saga. Continuing reports over the last couple
of days about a deal being done with the Steelers,
I know for a fact that is not true now,
or at least those reports at that time was not true.

(02:10):
I may wind up with the Steelers, That's something we
reported on this show back in March, but as it
sat the other day, there was nothing agreed to on
either side, and so saying a deal is done is
not correct. It's not factually correct. So I do don't
really know how to get into the weeds on that.

(02:32):
When I did this morning on Twitter where I was
arguing with somebody because they were reporting it as a
done deal, and I'm like, well, it can't be done
if the two sets haven't agreed like that, that's just
factually incorrect. So make of that which you will. As
far as the Broncos go, Cayden Sterns, remember the Broncos
released him. He was picked up by the Carolina Panthers

(02:53):
off the waiver wire. They had the first selection, so
we don't know if anybody else would have put bids in,
but he went to the first team when the that
was first on the waivers and the Panthers rejoins at
Gero Rivero in Carolina on Josie Jewel on that defense there,
and so we'll we'll sort of see how that goes
for Caden got to get healthy and you know, and

(03:15):
all that as far as camp goes. Broncos starting to
get ready for Colts. This is sort of interesting because
normally for a preseason game, there's not really preparation. You're
just kind of doing base install. We want to go
get into our routine of what we're going to do
on game day. But you're not you're not planning out,

(03:37):
you know, you're not game planning a preseason game. However,
this opening preseason game might carry a little bit different weight.
And why do I say that, Because the Denver Broncos
play the Indianapolis Colts later on this year. Typically that's
not necessarily something that you see happen very often. You know,

(04:06):
it's it's not unheard of, but it is rare that
you have a team that plays in the preseason then
meets up again in the regular season. And so I
think that's interesting. I think that if you're the Broncos,
maybe you're using this. I don't know that you're game
planning this game per se, but I think some of

(04:28):
the things you're doing is making sure you don't give
the Colts any tape. I think what you're trying to
do is just go out there, get your feet wet
a little bit with the first preseason game, and I
think you are going incredibly vanilla and basic at this one.
That's what I would do. I would not give the

(04:49):
Colts anything that they can have on tape for later
this year, make them work for it. What I might do,
and I say go incredibly vanilla, is I might run
a trick play in this game to get them looking

(05:09):
for that down the line, you know, a trick play
that we just want to empty out of the arsenal
and get them thinking about that for later on this year.
And that's not to say that the Broncos should be
all worried about the Colts or you know, or whatever,
you know as far as that goes. But the Colts

(05:33):
have to come here to Denver on December fifteenth, and
I would suggest that you would want them to think
about it. You'd certainly want them to be thinking about
things five six six nine zeros text line. I think

(05:53):
it gives the Seahawks something to think about, you know,
kind of empty out the empty out the play a
little bit. Put put some put some stuff out there
that you want defenders thinking about. That'll help open up
your your basics, you know, put some things on tape

(06:14):
that will have your opponents thinking about the potential for
you to pull a fake when really you just want
to run your basic offense. And I know everybody's going
to be sitting there thinking about the quarterback situation, hyper

(06:35):
analyzing the quarterback situation. That's what people do. But this
is going to be an opportunity for down roster guys
to make a name, special teams guys to make a name,
practice squad guys to make a name, and for you
to plant seeds with future opponents. So yeah, I would

(06:59):
I would start the game on a trick play, you know,
and around wide receiver pass. Just just something ridiculous. I
would start the game on something that serves notice. Give
your opponents something to think about. Don't let them commit

(07:21):
any extra energy to stopping what you do on a
normal basis. Get them thinking about things you might do.
But what I know, I'm just some guy five six
six nine zeroes text line. A lot of interesting other

(07:44):
things going on around the NFL. I don't know if
you guys know Tarik Owens, who is the son of
Terrell Owens, who was waived by the Niners. Uh. He
had a hand injury. He's gonna be out five seven weeks.
He was waived. For those who don't know, he played

(08:05):
college football at Florida Atlantic Missouri State. The Jets activated
a receiver, Mike Williams from the Pop Williams, who signed
with the Jets in March. At torn As ACL with
the Chargers against the Vikings in Week three last year.

(08:27):
Broncos fans will remember Mike Williams caught three hundred nine
balls forty eight hundred yards average, fifteen point six at catch,
thirty one touchdowns and seven seasons with the Chargers. He
is supposed to be a full go for the season.

(08:50):
The Giants put their initial depth chart out and contrary
to the Broncos, did not put rookies at the bottom
of the depth chart. In fact, Malik Neighbors, the wide receiver,
was listed as a starter number six overall pick for
the Giants. Kansas City came out with their plan for

(09:18):
their first preseason game and head coach Andy Reid said
that quarterback Pat Mahomes and the other starters will be
on the field against the Jags on Saturday. Read outlined
how much he expects each group of players on the
team to play. Say quote, as far as the playtime
for this game, we'll go with the ones for a quarter,
twos for the second quarter, threes for the third, and

(09:41):
fourth for the fourth, and we'll just keep it at that.
Holmes played six snaps in the first preseason game last year,
played less than ten snaps in the first preseason game
of three of the last four years, so it may
not be a full quarter. But before he gives way
to Carson Wentz in his first year at a Chiefs uniform,

(10:06):
which you know, I find his string. I wonder if
Carson Wentz could resurrect his career there in Kansas City,
talked a little bit about Justin Simmons visiting down there
in New Orleans. Kwandre Diggs, who was signed by the Titans,
had a longer stay on the free agent market that
he he would have liked. He kind of touched on

(10:26):
the extended run of unemployment after being released by the
Seahawks back in early March, suggesting his age impacted the
level of interest in his services. Dig said, there's no
stage of my career. I'm thirty one. People act like
you get to thirty and you can't play dead. I
play well. I do all the things he needed me
to do. I go get the football. I've been consistent

(10:46):
in that top ten, top five and the last however
many years. I go get the football. I want to
be physical, I want to tackle. Titans also signed Dig's
Seattle teammate Jamal Adams this offseason, hoping that that pair
will make them a tougher defense than they were able
to put out last year. One thing I did want

(11:08):
to get to is the NCAA imposing this four year
show cause order on Jim Harbaugh over the COVID recruiting violations.
Things don't work out for Horrball with the Chargers. He's
not gonna be going back to college football, at least
not for four years. The NCAA and posed a four
year show cause order on the former Michigan coach. Punishment

(11:31):
stems not from Connor Stallion's signed stealing scandal, but from
recruiting violations during the COVID deal period, the press release said.
Throughout the investigation, Harbaugh denied his involvement in the violations,
which were overwhelmingly supported by the record. Harball also refused

(11:53):
to participate in a hearing before the committee. Harball's violations
of the COVID nineteen recruiting dead period, or Level two violate,
but his unethical conduct and failure to cooperate with the
membership's infractions process, specifically, his provision of false or misleading information,
is a level one violation. The show caused order means
that if any NCAA program hires Horball during the four

(12:16):
year period, it'll be required to show cause. As to
why it should not be disciplined for doing so remains
to be seen if this is a situation that prompts
the NFL to take any kind of action. It imposed
a sort of suspension on former Ohio State coach Jim
Tressel when he took a job with the Colts. The
league also imposed the suspension of former Ohio State quarterback

(12:38):
to Roll prior after he was picked by the Raiders
in the twenty eleven supplemental Draft. You guys remember that
the autograph and gold pants scandal. Harball continues to face
in Cuba discipline over these signs stealing situation the aforementioned
Connor stallions. Last year, NFL media reported that the league

(12:58):
could discipline Horrball if, in a win, he leaves Michigan
for the NFL. The NFL has been asked for comment
and declined. And all we know is the NCAA has
certainly gone after Harball pretty pretty tough. I mean, they've
been pretty on him for this thing. There was another story.

(13:25):
I guess we've got enough time to get to this
about the Philadelphia Eagles. And for those of you who
don't know, former Broncos head coach Vic Fangio now the
defensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles. Kellen Moore is the
new offensive coordinator. But the Eagles got off to a
ten and one start last year. But a lot of
us privately we're kind of calling it fraudulent. That was

(13:50):
sort of a running joke here O between myself and
Ryan Edwards calling him frauds off the air. Any of
theories have been advanced up to and including the impact
the absence of a big dom from the sidelines, but
a new story from ESPN is pointing out for more
sort of fundamental problems, and that is that the quarterback

(14:12):
Jalen Hurts and head coach Nick Sirianni didn't get along.
Per the report, the relationship was fractured and unhealthy in
twenty twenty three, and the issue arose from a disagreement
on vision for the offense. One source described the situation
ESPN as a full lack of respect for Sirianni as
an ex's and O's tactician. And the implosion of the Eagles,

(14:36):
which was capped by a playoff loss at Tampa that
sparked an image of Jeff Lourie wearing a mask of bewilderment,
prompted speculation that Sirianno would be fired, possibly for Bill Belichick,
and obviously that didn't happen, but the ESPN story makes
it clear if things don't get better in twenty twenty four,
the coach, the quarterback or both could be gone in
twenty twenty five. For now, the new goals to have

(14:59):
brand new offense of coordinator Kellen Moore Bridge. The gap
between the two that dysfunction traces to the departure of
offensive coordinator Shane Steichen, who became the Colts head coach
after the twenty twenty two season. Now, Ben Johnson, who
had known Jalen Hurts for years, was promoted from QB
coached offensive coordinator, and per the report, Sirianni was just

(15:23):
on a different page from those two. Syriana went to
keep the scheme the same, Hurts wanted more control, and
a team source told ESPN that when Brian Johnson got promoted,
he thinks that Hurts thought he could do the thing
he always wanted to do, and that just didn't fly
as much with Sirianni. Players were freelancing at times, per

(15:47):
the report, and at one point some didn't know who
was calling the plays. Multiple sources told ESPN they believe
Hurts tuned out Sirianni at times during the season. Now,
on the surface, the financials, the contract jail it Hurts
has seems to give him more juice than Sirianni. However,

(16:11):
you know, if the hurt steal was and is, it's
relatively easy to trade. If he wants out of the
Eagles decide to move him. But it was Sirianni and
not Hurts who spent several days in public limbo after
the playoff loss, and if things don't improve, Sirianne seems
to be the more likely the two to get the
heat out. At the end of the article, it sort

(16:34):
of seems to sum it up that do I think
they will go to dinner together? Hell no, that's pert
Eagles team source. But it can be a good working,
professional relationship. I don't think it's hatred. And if that's
where we're set in the bar, that's a pretty low
bar to clear. Broncos Country, and I'd be back after this.

(17:04):
Welcome back to it, Broncos Country tonight. Benjamin Allbright here
with you. Grant Smith producing five six six nine zeros
of text line. Got a got a few texts in there,
A couple of people asking about my boys, Shane's Shane
Steikin and John Gannon if they were the the impetus
behind the Eagles run. I believe that I do I

(17:25):
firmly do. I think you see both of those coaches
impact on the teams that they're with now, and I
think you I think you can sort of see that
Shane and John Gannon were carrying Nick Seraani and not
the other way around, and Jay and By and Jalen
Hurts to a degree and not the other way around.
There was a definitive drop off in productivity for Jalen

(17:47):
Hurts last year without Shane Stikeen. We've seen that before
everywhere Shane Stikeen is gone. He has been very effective.
He was the guy that was there in Justin Herbert's
rookie year. After they moved on from him, you know
that offense tanked, and by the way, to put that
in perspective, those two ocs will be going head to
head of the preseason game this weekend where you've got

(18:09):
Joe Lombardi against Shane Steiken. Lombardi was the guy who
replaced Shane Stikeen, who by all accounts, has been phenomenal
at every stop he's been in developing quarterbacks, and now
he's got Anthony Richardson. John Gannon, on the other hand,
much beligned for a wrinkle that was not adjusted to
in that Super Bowl game against the Chiefs. But what
are you going to do after halftime? Kansas City waited

(18:31):
until after halftime to deploy that wrinkle right using Tyreek
Hill in that comeback motion. It caught the defense and
they just at that point, how are you going to adjust?
I mean, you've got limited time on the sideline to
do that. I'm not trying to totally excuse John Gannon,

(18:51):
but Kansas City played that masterfully and we have to
admit that. I think you saw Gannon's impact on the
Cardinals last year, a team that played more competitively than
everybody thought they should have. And I believe the Arizona
Cardinals will catch some people napping this year. Got a

(19:14):
couple of texts about yeah, well yes, and yeah, I'm
gonna be rooting for those guys when they're not playing
the Broncos because that's what I do. I root for
my friends to succeed. You know, I'm gonna be rooting
for Washington. We're gonna be rooting for coach Pagano out
there in Washington too. We want to see coach PAGs succeed.
So you know the idea that I'm not you know,

(19:35):
you're not a true Broncos fan. Well, I'm not a Broncos fan.
That's not my job. You know. My job is to
cover the Broncos. I'm a fan of my my friends.
I'm a fan of the game of football. I hope
the Broncos win because it makes my job more fun.
But I'm also rooting for my friends. I want him
to succeed. Five six six nine zero. Cowboys have a

(19:55):
joint practice with the Rams tomorrow, and Dallas head coach
Mike McCarthy's warning his players not to fight. This has
been a point of emphasis around the league with several teams.
McCarthy was asked about fights breaking out joint practice with
the Giants and Lions and said he and Rams coach
Sean McVay agree they will not tolerate it. It's a
waste of time. I don't want guys fighting. That's not toughness,

(20:17):
that's just lack of discipline. We want the work to
get that emotional edge to push each other, but you
got to handle those spots. It's all part of the
emotional challenge in the game of football. I'm not looking
for that. I know Sean's not looking for it. There's
no concern. We want to have a heck of a practice.
That's why we're working together, and I think the work
Thursday will be great. McCarthy said that when he and
McVeigh agreed offseason to have a joint practice, they were
both kind of on the same page about what their

(20:39):
expectations would be, too, saying, I like the way Sean
runs his program. We talked earlier in the spring about
working together. McCarthy's comments came before news broke that the
NFL find the Lions and Giants two hundred thousand dollars
each for their joint practice fights. McCarthy sounds pretty confident
that the Cowboys won't have that issue. Mike Tomlin came

(21:05):
out with quotes so about the trade chatter with Brandon Ayuk,
which has been all over the map. I got a
hilarious text today from Mike Garafolo over there at NFL Network,
call it mel legend. Steelers coach Mike Tomlin has had

(21:27):
a couple of chances to sort of chime in on this,
but during an appearance on WDVE in Pittsburgh, tom was
asked head any interesting calls Wednesday morning, and he replied
by saying it was a little early on the west
side right now, so probably not an obvious reference to
San Francisco. Tomlin then held a press conference and was
asked whether the team was actively working to add another receiver, saying, quote,

(21:49):
I'll let you guys speculate on that. Sort of grinning
after that answer, and that nonverbal response has led some
social media salute to say they believe a deal bringing
Ayu to Pittsburgh's already done. Nothing has been announced, obviously,
and as we've talked about, there had been no agreement
at that point. If you're a Colts fan, one thing

(22:12):
I will say, Josh Downs exited today's practice early with
an ankle injury. Hit coach Shane Steiken told reporters after
the session that which occurred during a seven on seven
drill when safety Nick Cross brought him down. Downs had
to be helped off by the trainers like and said,
we've got to be smart. We're competing like crazy. We've

(22:34):
got to stay off the ground and can't go down.
He said that on one seven five. The fan there by,
Kevin Bowen. Cross, also spoke to the media after practice
and called the injury unfortunately, saying, I mean we're playing football.
We're competing. Josh's my guy. I love to death, but
we're here to play football. At the end of the day,

(22:56):
Downs had sixty eight passes, seven seventy one to two
touchdowns as a rookie last year, third round pick out
of North Carolina. For those wondering about Michael Pennock's junior,
Raheem Morris seems to think that he's gonna play him
pretty much and not as much a Kirk Cousins. The

(23:21):
Falcons participating in joy practices with the Dolphins this week,
and it sounds like the rookie QB is gonna get
the bulk of a snap in Friday night's preseason game.
Head coach Rahee Marris tall reporters in his Wednesday presser
that number eight overall picked Michael Pennix will be on
the field for a substantial amount of time and that

(23:42):
will not be the case for starter Kirk Cousins, saying quote,
we haven't really talked about playing time, but you'll get
a good look at Michael. You won't see nearly as
much of Kirk if anny. And that's via Terrence Whack
of the team's website. Morra spent the last several years

(24:02):
as the Rams defensive coordinator, a team that rarely played
starters in preseason games under head coach Sean McVay, So
it shouldn't come as much of a surprise if Cousins
does not play any preseason snaps, particularly as he's coming
off a torn achilles, plus he's getting quality snaps against
Miami's defense in practice this week. Friday night will be

(24:25):
the first opportunity Pennix has to display his abilities after
Atlanta surprisingly selected him in the spring, and unless something
else unexpected happens this season, it'll be one of just
three chances he'll have to play in his first NFL season.

(24:46):
The Bears are looking at VELAs Jones as a position switch.
I don't know how much you guys remember Vealas Jones
played at wide receiver, had limited impact since the Bears
took him in the third round of the twenty twenty
two draft, and you're looking at new ways of using

(25:10):
him and trying to get some production. Jones have been
practicing with the team's running backs at training camp this week.
Head coach Matt Eberflu said offensive coordinator Shane Waldron his staff,
but look at ways to maximize our talents and that
Jones has been receptive to the chance to try out
a new role. He's got a lot of talent, eberflu

(25:33):
said via Josh Shrock of nbcsports Chicago dot com. He's
open and moving around again. Like we talked about, I
think it was maybe last time we visited. You know,
if you're on the fringe of the roster, a guy
who's competing for that fifth, sixth spot, receiver, half back,
whatever it might be. The more you can do, if
you're a four core guy on special teams, the more

(25:55):
you can utilize your talents across your base of the team.
I believe that's a good thing for you. So that's
he's been doing. Jones has seventeen catches for one hundred
and fifty four yards and a touchdown and eleven carries
for one hundred and twenty seven yards and a touchdown
in twenty six games. He's also served as the team's
kickoff returner, and this year's changed to the kickoff rules

(26:17):
could boost his bid for a roster spot as well.
Keon Coleman was listed second string on the Bills depth chart,
although they envisioned him as a starter right now. The
starter's listed as Mac Hollands, Khalil Shaker, and Curtis Samuel

(26:39):
at wide receiver. It is notable for Broncos fans that
kJ Hamler is listed as the number one part returner
and kick returner. Hamler has only returned three points two
kicks in his career, all in twenty twenty when he
was then a rookie with the Devor. Broncos Bill signed

(27:00):
him this offseason think he can make an impact on
special teams. For those wondering about Russell Wilson, He's not
gonna play Friday, but leads the competition with Justin Fields
dealing with a calf injury. Quarterback Russell Wilson want of

(27:20):
several Steelers who won't play Friday's preseason game against the Texans,
but is still leading the competition. Mike Tomlin confirmed that
this was the case at his presser today. Say you
guys saw the depth chart I released yesterday. That is
real what happens in the stadiums weighted heavier than a
practice setting because it's more game like. Tomlin added, Wilson

(27:45):
had been able to take many practice snaps through the
first couple of weeks of camp, which has allowed Fields
an opportunity to display what he can do. Tomlin, who's
particularly noted the improvement of fields footwork over the course
of the offseason in camp. He just comes to compete
every day, an awesome competitive spirit. We've got a competitive environment.

(28:05):
Seems like he's enjoying it, really doing a good job
acclimating himself to it and his teammates and letting his
talents show. Tomlin plans to play Fields in the starting
unit for a couple series against Houston. That will be
a chance for Fields to potentially close the gap between

(28:27):
him and Russ. Wilson. I think everything is an audition,
Tomlin said. Everything we do is an audition, not only
for him but for others not to do. Agree with that.
It'll be interesting to see if Field is able to
make some inroads there. He is, according to my people,
up there well behind Russ. Despite some media coverage. Ravens

(28:49):
have some corner issues. Arthur Mallay is going to miss
a chunk of time dealing with a knee injury. Malay's
apps since could cause Kyle Hamilton, the safety to corn
a step into that nickel corner roll. At times. Over

(29:10):
with the Patriots, the contract dispute between the Patriots and
ed Rusher Matthew Judon, continues Juden, who's been participating in practice,
and head coach GRODMEYOTL reporters the team was moving past it.
Something seems to have changed. Mike Greasi ESPN. Judent did
not participate in Tuesday's practice after stretch. He's noted that

(29:30):
Judent had hinted when speaking of reporters on Monday that
he could play under his current contract. He didn't mention
anything about practice. Injuries limited Judon to just four games
last year after registering fifteen and a half sacks in
twenty twenty two. He was still productive in the games
he played, recording four sacks in those four games, with
five tackles for loss and nine quarterback hits. He's about

(29:54):
to enter the last year of his contract, scheduled to
make six point five million in base salary, and that
is his current issue. Juden said on Monday. We have
a market. It's set by the highest paid guy. Everybody
kind of falls on the line until the next person up
to break that contract. Coming for the season I had,
I was injured mostly all seasons, and that's not really

(30:15):
where my market is. But like I said, I don't
think it's six point five million. Judan has sixty six
and a half sacks, eighty seven tackles for a loss,
and one hundred and sixty five QB hits in his
one hundred and forty four career games for Baltimore and
New England. I think I wanted to get to, uh,

(30:36):
was Kadarius Tony. A lot of people thought Kansas City
would move on from him after last season. Last year,
the Chiefs put him on ice after a massive alignment
glitch mistake whatever you want to call it against the
Bills and a critical drop against the Patriots. Felt like
they wanted to move on from him. Along the way,
they apparently decided to give him another chance, really low

(31:00):
cost as a player two point five to three million
this coming year. That chance does not appear to be
paying off much so far. Charles Goldman of eighty C
Sports has Tony, who's a first round pick of the
Giants back in twenty twenty one, buried on the fifth

(31:20):
string on the death chart, and it's probably an overstatement
since first string and second string have two players each
at the level and it should probably be three. But
that basically makes him wide receiver seven on the death
chart at best. He's had a bit of an ankle

(31:43):
injury that hasn't helped my Broncos fans can maybe take
a little bit of solace in the fact that one
chief's move has not really worked out. We talked a
little bit about Justin Simmons visiting the Saints. They currently

(32:04):
have Tyran Matthew, Jordan Howd, and Jonathan Abram and Will
Harris as their safety group. Talked a little bit about
the Eagles in that article out there. There's not a
competition for the starting quarterback job. That's Jalen Hurts, but
the backup position might be having won. Offensive coordinator Kellen

(32:29):
Moore was asked about Tanner McKee taking reps with a
second team and if that might mean anything for his
chances of jumping Kenny Pickett out of the backup job.
The Eagles traded for Pickett after the Steelers decided to
cut ties with their twenty twenty two first rounder, and
Moore said on Tuesday that the change in McKee's work

(32:51):
doesn't mean the team has not liked what they've seen
from Picket. Just said Tanner's doing an awesome job. Really.
Two independent things. It's not necessarily that their associated with
each other. I think both these guys are having good camps.
Sometimes when you're a younger guy, sometimes we like to
put you in some different situations, try and mix and match.
These things give you a different perspective for these guys.
Kenny has handled it well. Tanner has handled it awesome.

(33:14):
It's been really good for these guys. Eagles obviously kick
off the preseason this week, and More said he wants
to see clean operation and to make great decisions from
the quarterbacks. Brandon Ayuk's hold in has kind of been
the ticket out for him. San Francisco Chronicle reporting his
decision to show up for training camp and not practice

(33:35):
is bothering coach Shanahan in part because it's perceived that
he's brooding while in and out of the building. Forty
nine ers could technically play hardball with IU Cound telling
him he must practice and prepare to play for the
fourteen point one million this year, be fine or potentially
suspended for contact detrimental. They could do that anytime between

(33:58):
now in week one. That can tell them it's time
get to work. Whatever. But there's the way to be
president and not be sort of a pain in the
ass without being an overt pain in the ass, and
Ayuk is not really finding that sweet spot, and apparently
it's hit and hit a raw nerve for Shanahan. The
entire forty nine ers approach relies on guys who are

(34:19):
ready to roll out of bed and run through a wall,
and you know, having somebody around who lacks that vibe
certainly makes it a lot harder to behave the way
that Niners want. Ayuk is gonna be able to pick
his destination. Patriots and Browns are our teams that have

sort of been in this, but not teams that Auk
wants to go to. It appears that he wants Pittsburgh
or Washington. We'll see if he gets it. You listen
