Speaker 1 (00:00):
Hello, Broncos Country, and welcome back to another post Rockies
edition of Broncos Country tonight, yet again, filling in for
Ben and Nick Ferguson, It's me Zach Segers. Happy to
be back here with you all this week. Lots to
talk about in Broncos Land. Rockies right now trying to

(00:24):
chase that elusive forty second win.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Don't want to end up on the wrong side of history.

Speaker 1 (00:30):
I think they'll get there, but still a little ways
to go for sure. You can't be certain yet. The Broncos, though,
getting back there to do a little more fun of
a team to talk about. Cut down to fifty three
players yesterday Today they got their sixteen man practice squad

(00:52):
put together. You expect there to be a little bit
of shuffling over these coming days, but for the most part,
this is what the Broncos roster is going to look
like for that first game against the Tennessee Titans a
week from Sunday. Today we had some additional Broncos knew,
some of it good, some of it not so good.

(01:13):
Starting with the negative here, Marvin Mims left practice early
with a groin injury. He walked off the field under
his own power, but did have to get helped off.
I guess so, maybe not under his own power, but
did walk off. Wasn't you know, carded? Nothing that serious,
but you know what, did walk off gingerly with the
help of some trainers.

Speaker 2 (01:35):
Thankfully.

Speaker 1 (01:36):
Sean Payton released a statement saying that they're not overly
concerned with the Marvin Mims injury. I will say I
think Sean Payton and the Broncos have been They've done
a great job of shrouding some of these injury situations,
Michael Burton, I think, being a great example. I don't

(01:57):
think anyone expected him to land on season ending IR.
I don't think anyone had an inklean, at least in
media that I saw, had an inkling that his hamstring
injury was that severe. And you know, not to say
this Mims one is anything like that. All signs point
to him playing in Week one, but it should definitely

(02:19):
be monitored over these coming weeks because I don't I
don't think we'll know for sure until we get to,
you know, at least the start of practice next week,
you know, and if he's fully practicing, then there's your answer.
But if not, you know, it might not be until
Friday or Saturday that we get a hard answer on
Marvin Mims and what his role will be for the

(02:40):
first week of the regular season. With that in mind,
what does this mean for a Broncos pass catching group
that now all of a sudden could be down both
Devon Vallet and Marvin Mims. What you know, who are
those targets going to? I think both favorite weapons this
season will be Courtland Sutton. I think you're going to

(03:02):
see him targeted a ton In this Sean Payton offense,
you always see the running backs targeted a ton and
then I think, you know, outside the running backs actually overall,
probably Evan Ingram is going to be the number two
target in this offense. The connection with Bo has been
a parent already, and he brings something that I think

(03:23):
Peyton has been longing for throughout his Broncos tenure. That
joker we talked so much about this offseason, and again
we've seen it in camp. Bo and Evan Ingram are
working together more than maybe any other quarterback and pass
catcher tandem out there. You know, Bo's working with Ingram

(03:43):
more than I think anyone, even more than Sutton, which
makes sense because he's already got some chemistry established with Sutton.
He's having to start from ground zero with Evan Ingram,
but I think they're trending in the right direction. And
you saw with his one preseason catch, like wow, you
know it's a little Demerius Thomas esk not quite that

(04:06):
level of athlete, but you know, a big body who
can really get moving out there. Even though he's you know,
on his third team, on his third contract, he's still
very clearly has some wheels. And I think, you know,
the Sean Payton offense that knows how to use the
tight end in the red zone as a red zone threat,
knows how to you know, drop these tight end screens
and other ways to you know, get him on the run,

(04:29):
creating yards after the catch. I think it's going to
be a huge year for Evit Ingram because he's going
to be getting those easy screens, dump offs, whatever, and
that he's also going to be getting I think the
big high value targets like touchdowns and whatnot.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
In fantasy.

Speaker 1 (04:46):
I really think Evitt Ingram is one of the very
best options after that elite tier, you know, Brock Bauers,
Trey McBride, George Kittle, even Dravis Kelsey. I'm I'm taking
over him right now, but not long after that, I'm
looking for evid Ingram. I think he's going to be

(05:07):
huge for the Broncos. Frank Crumb another bit of news
we had coming out of roster cutdowns. Frank Crumb reportedly
received trade interest from numerous teams as the Broncos look
to cut down the roster to fifty three. Unsurprisingly, as
the Broncos didn't trade Frank Crumb, they also didn't cut

(05:29):
him to put him on the open market. Now, I
think it's interesting to discuss should they have traded Frank
Crumb because I think through the preseason, through training camp,
even you know, what little we saw of him last
year during you know, training camp, at preseason, I don't

(05:50):
know how much we've seen of Frank Crumb that really
makes you believe he needs to be on this team.
Right I think if there's injuries, Pouchesky's getting playing time
before him. I think Parrot's getting playing time before him.
I think maybe even a guy like Throckmorton is getting
playing time before they turned to Frank Crumb because he

(06:14):
is just still a very raw option. The tools there
are tantalizing the athleticism, his ability, what he brings to
the field is clear. But man, it is a lot
of projection right now. So should they maybe have traded
Frank Crumb and let someone else work on that development project?
You know, I think if you could have gotten anything

(06:36):
more than a sixth round pick, they absolutely should have
done it. That said, I'm going to give them benefit
of the doubt and defend them maybe not making a
trade here. And I think it makes sense when you
consider that this Broncos roster hasn't had youth invested in

(06:59):
or injected into the tackle position via the draft since
Garrett Bulls, you know, to try and find those young answers.
Right now, they're having to turn to the UDFA process.
And maybe they found something with Pouchesky. You know, early
returns look good there, and maybe they found something with Crumb.

Speaker 2 (07:19):
And I think, you know, if.

Speaker 1 (07:23):
Clearly Crumb's putting enough out there that other teams wanted
to develop him themselves. And I get you know, if
you're the Broncos going, Hey, we like Zack Streef, we
like the development program we have going over here, and
we need some young tackles waiting in the wings, So
why not hold on to Frank Crumb. That's probably going
to do more for us than a sixth round pick.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
You know, I think it would.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Be hard to kind of fault them either way here,
but hopefully they're right and hopefully Frank Crumb turns into something.
Last little Broncos specific tidbit I'll hit on here, Sam
Ellinger reportedly turned down spots on other fifty three man
rosters around the league, So not just practice squad opportunities,

(08:10):
but real on the roster opportunities to stay in Denver
with the Broncos and Sean Payton.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Now one I.

Speaker 1 (08:19):
Think this is Ellinger didn't say this. It was just reported,
I believe by Jordan Schultz. I wouldn't be surprised if
this is coming from Ellinger's people, right. It definitely makes
Ellinger look like a very committed Bronco. It colors him
in a positive light. That said, I wouldn't be overly
surprised if this is the reality of the situation either.

(08:42):
We know the Broncos are likely going to have an
emergency quarterback on Sundays. To do that, they have to
have that quarterback, that third quarterback on their fifty three
man roster. I think sam Ellnger was cut not because
he's not going to be on the fifty three man roster,
but rather the Broncos understanding, hey, who is going to

(09:04):
and granted based on what ellen Ger saying here, maybe
the Broncos were wrong in this assumption, but I think
the Broncos went, who is going to sign Sam Ellinger
without working with him at all this summer and ask
him to be their backup quarterback right away? As he's
learning the offense and all this stuff. We can probably
cut him, sneak him through waivers, bring him back on

(09:29):
the practice squad, you know, keep someone else on the
roster so they're harder to poach, and then swap the
two once game day gets closer and rosters around the
league are more solidified and it's harder for them to poach.

Speaker 2 (09:42):
Whoever, the Broncos are trying to protect, right.

Speaker 1 (09:46):
And I think that's that idea is backed up by
Ellinger staying in Denver. You get paid more by being
on the active roster. Even if he loves Sean Payden
and the development playing the Broncos have for him, there
would have to be in my opinion, I believe he
would have to have some high degree of confidence he

(10:09):
was going to be activated for a large portion of
this season. Because we're talking about turning up, we're turning
down rather one hundred thousand two a million dollars probably,
you know, don't. I don't think Ellinger is just going
to walk away from that for nothing. Still, it's a
nice story, and I do think it also underlines or

(10:31):
builds faith behind Sean Payton. I think Sean Payton and
Jim Harbaugh, no one was doubting whether or not they're
good coaches. The concerns with them were always how long
are you going to have these guys as your head coach?
Just because they can wear people out? You know, does
Sean Payton's gruff style work in the modern NFL? Does

(10:53):
Jim Harbaugh's wackiness? You know, will that tire on people
like we saw in San Francisco in the past. With
Sean Payton, we keep getting these little signs that his
locker room culture in Denver is incredibly strong, you know,
Sam Ellinger turning down this deal to stay in Denver.

(11:15):
Evan Ingram reportedly turning down extra money with the Chargers
because he liked the role envisioned Sean Payton had for
him in this offense, you know. And also there's not
many former Saints or former Broncos coming out to drag
Sean Payton outside of Russell Wilson, and that might have
just been a clashing of egos. Little general NFL news

(11:39):
we can get into here, Rashi Rice, this one definitely
affects the Broncos. A lot of people expected he would
be suspended for ten games. The NFL was reportedly pushing
for a ten game suspension instead, Shocker, things break well
for the Chiefs. He's only suspended six games. Who would

(11:59):
have thought something coming from the NFL League office would
have wound up being more favorable for the Kansas City
Chiefs than expected. Being a little tongue in cheek there,
but I do think, you know, this is a pretty
beneficial break for Kansas City, Rashi Rice. I think it

(12:20):
gets overlooked because of how much of the season he
missed and how bad Casey's offense was without him. But
he looked primed to slot into that number one role
that Travis Kelce has held in the Chiefs offense for
so long and was a dangerous underneath weapon too. Had
a huge amount of targets from Patrick Mahomes through those

(12:41):
first few games of the season and was also wildly productive.
You know, he looked like I mean in terms of production.
He was set to be a top five, top ten
fantasy receiver last year prior to the injury, and I
think having him back will be huge for this Chief offense.
It allows Kelsey to slot in as you know, maybe

(13:03):
the number two or number three. Same for Worthy, same
for Hollywood Brown, and that's a more appropriate role for
all of those three targets. I don't think you want
any of those guys as your number one option in
twenty twenty five, but I think any of them I
could make an argument for as a number two. And
whichever one of them is the number four target in

(13:24):
the passing game, I think you're you're thrilled with that reality.
And obviously you're not going to have Rice for some
important games off the top here, and that could be
costly in the AFC West playoff race, but you will
have him back for the playoffs and for the games
that matter. And we've already seen the Chiefs approach the

(13:46):
NFL regular season with a mindset of you know, these games,
they matter to an extent, but it's the playoffs, when
we'll dial up how many snaps Kelsey's playing and we'll really,
you know, like the meme of the kid leaning back
in the video game Share versus leaning forward, kind of
lock in and make sure we're taking our business seriously.

(14:09):
They're going to have Rashi Rice for that stretch and
you know, health willing. They'll have Hollywood Brown, They'll have
Xavier Worthy too, They'll have Travis Kelce and all of
a sudden, I think you're talking about the best cast
of Chiefs weapons since Travis or since Tyreek Hill was
on the team. They should also have Isaiah Pichecko back

(14:30):
at full strength after he was dealing with a pretty
serious leg injury last year. Underrated part of the Chief's
offensive struggles last season was that the running game was
pretty bad. If you get that running game back to
where it was two seasons ago, you get these weapons
in place. Oh and by the way, look at the
offensive line. All reports about Josh Simmons or that he

(14:52):
at least looks like a fully healthy tackle and a
capable starter for the Chiefs. And then you know Juwan
Taylor and you've got Jalen Moore competing on the right side.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
For right tackle.

Speaker 1 (15:09):
That's how good the rookie Simmons has looked for the
Chiefs that he's just seemingly already locked down the left
tackle job and now the competition's on the right side.
I think left guard is a concern with Kingsley sue
A Mattia. He's apparently looked rough, and you know, they
don't have a great other answer there at guard. And

(15:30):
you know, offensive line is a weak link system. But man,
the Chiefs right now, it looks like they should have
four pretty steady, reliable pieces on the offensive line and
a great cast to weapons for Mahomes. The defense I
think will take a step back this year. They lost
some important pieces. I don't know how good of a
job they did to replenish them. But still you've got

(15:53):
Spags coaching that unit up, and I think this offense
should be a return to four year for the Chiefs.
If I were the Broncos, I'd be nervous. I've been
wanting to pick the Broncos as my AFC West champion,
but this Rashi Rice news today kind of got me thinking.
It gave me some paus. Coming up next a little

(16:14):
more NFL news, we'll talk about some of it relating
to the Broncos, and we'll finish up reacting to the
Broncos final fifty three man roster or initial fifty three
man roster, i should say, and where they go from here.
That's coming up next right here on Broncos Country tonight
on KOA News Talk Sports. Hello, Broncos Country, and welcome

(16:42):
back to some more post Rockies Broncos Tonight Action. Once
again filling in for Ben and Nick Ferguson. It is
Zach Siegers, happy to be here, happy to be talking
Broncos regular season. Right around the corner this time next
week will be previewing that first regular season game for

(17:03):
the Broncos. I am giddy with excitement over it. With
the final roster coming into view, though there are some
discussions I want to get into.

Speaker 2 (17:16):
Can get into a more general fifty.

Speaker 1 (17:19):
Three man roster conversation here in a second, but first
I want to touch on a troubling point of conversation
I'm seeing starting to bubble up here in Broncos Country,
and that's Jah Day Baron and him seemingly not being

(17:42):
the Week one starter. We'll see you know again, there's
there's time between now and game day when that will
be announced. But all signs right now. You know j
Kuant has started all the preseason games, he was the
main starter in camp in the nickel role. All signs
right now point two jadd Baron coming off the bench
in week one, And.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
I've seen.

Speaker 1 (18:06):
Some in Broncos Country really freak out about this. I've
seen some even label it a disaster, and I just
wouldn't go that far. You know, the season's long, I
think is one place to start, for sure. You know,
there's plenty of time for him to become the starter

(18:29):
and claim that starting spot. Now, on the flip side,
I'd say it also doesn't do anyone any good to
collectively bury our heads in the sand and act like
this was always the expectation, or this was always the
plan in Broncos Country on these shows on KOA, I

(18:50):
know the expectation was that he'd be starting in the
nickel at week one. He might even you know, challenge
Riley Moss for the outside corner job. Those were the
conversations I remember how in April and May, and they're
not the conversations we're having right now. Now. Does that
mean he's a bust? He's not working out he's a disaster.
Like I saw some people saying, no, I think all

(19:12):
of that is way too far just because so one,
just because Jaquon isn't starting right now, I don't even
think that means he's not working out. Jayqwan McMillan last
time we saw him, was a borderline top ten nickel
in the league. I think you could argue either side

(19:34):
of that fence, but an above average starter at the position.
Now we also know Vance Joseph loathes to lean hard
on rookies seldom plays them all right. So that's two
big marks in Jaqwon McMillan's column. And lastly, Jakwon McMillan

(19:58):
had one of the most impressed summers between training camp
and preseason of any member of the defense. I really
think it's that simple. I really think it's just those
three factors. Baron had a good camp, he had a
good preseason. If he was going up against lesser competition,

(20:20):
I think there's a good chance he's starting Week one.
But Vance Joseph needs a compelling argument to start a
rookie right and Jay Kwon McMillan played so well that
that argument was going to be nearly impossible to make. Sorry,
Jade Baron would have had to look like the second

(20:41):
coming of Chris Harris Junior. I think to wrench that
job away from ja Quon McMillan with how good he
played this year, Vance Joseph isn't looking to replace veterans
who aren't problems with rookies, and Jaquon I think you
could argue, you know, maybe he's the league link in
the secondary. You know, quarterbacks are going to target him
a lot. That's going to be true of Jade two
when he goes in as a rookie, you know, in

(21:05):
a secondary with Riley Moss, with certand with Rufanga, with
Brandon Jones. I think it says less about McMillan than
the guys around him. So what I just I don't
think it's worth freaking out about. Jade Baron doesn't even
have to start this season, and I don't think it's
that much of a concern for his prospects as a

(21:29):
first round pick. Now, if next season he's not starting,
different conversation, then I think it's a concern. Jaquan McMillan
should leave in free agency after this year, and then
Jade Baron should plug and play be the starter twenty
twenty six. Moving forward, if for some reason the Broncos
bring in a vet to be that guy instead, or

(21:50):
draft a different guy to fill that role, then I
think we can start talking about, Wow, you know, they
kind of took a luxury position and they missed on
the evaluation. That's a painful pick, right but right now,
it's way too early for that. If he's a high
end starter at nickel next year, which is not that

(22:12):
far fetched, This isn't a worst case scenario, but let's
just imagine, doesn't you know, hardly plays it all as
a rookie next year is effectively his first year in
a major role, and he plays well that, you know, Like,
I think you could say, oh, maybe they didn't maximize

(22:33):
value with this draft pick, and you know, you could
maybe make some analytically based arguments against their process or
against the way it went, and you know, maybe give
it a lower grade or something. But I think we
could be sitting here this time next year and you know,
or I should say, maybe eighteen months from now, and

(22:53):
we're talking about him being a no doubt top five,
top six nickel in the sport. Like the there's a
reason why he was widely viewed in the NFL in
media as a top ten to fifteen player in this draft.
And even if the pick is a miss, I ultimately

(23:13):
think you want your team to draft. Results are going
to come and go. It's a roulette table, you know,
it's a roll of the dice. But you can maximize
your odds by going about your business the right way,
just how you can maximize your chances of winning in

(23:34):
blackjack by counting the cards. And I think the process
behind the selection is a good process. Their board said
ja Da Barron was a top ten player in this class.
This is a class where most everyone agreed there were
maybe ten to fifteen first round caliber players and after
that steep drop off, so it seems Jade Barron was

(23:57):
one of the few first round players on board. Not
only that, he was far and away their highest graded
player when their pick came up. Now we could argue
maybe they should have traded back, but their board said
that Jade barn was a large enough value that the
right move was to stick and pick. Is the argument

(24:20):
they shouldn't have listened to their board.

Speaker 2 (24:22):
They should have, you know.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Stuck with the plan they had five hours before the
draft and been rigid in that and not listened to
or not you know, observed what was happening in front
of them. I don't think so. I think you listen
to your board and you look at the best teams
in the league, the Eagles, the Ravens. You know, though,
draft players high who don't have to be instant contributors

(24:46):
for them and can you know, slowly fill into a
larger role. You know, Isaiah like not a first round pick,
but Isaiah likely a third round pick, I believe by
the Ravens, you know, they knew we're going to move
on from Mark Andrews eventually, and now they've got an
air apparent waiting in the wings. We've seen the Eagles
do that at corner, at safety, you know, lineby at edge,

(25:09):
constantly along their defensive line. They're just restocking it for
the future because it might not be a need now,
but it will soon. And that's true about the Broncos
cornerback room. So even if the pick doesn't work out,
which again I think we'd be too soon on that,
I think there was good process behind the pick, and
that doesn't remove all criticism. Hey, you know, process is

(25:33):
one thing. You also got to do a good job scouting.
You know, if Baron doesn't work out, the Broncos would
have been wrong to have such a high grade on him,
and that's worthy of critique. Listening to their board saying
draft this player, you have such a high grade on him.
That's not the error in their ways. Seeing that bubble up,

(25:54):
really wanted to address it because it was irking me
a small amount. Let's get into a little more fun
mainstream Broncos roster news though, starting off with some of
the surprises. What were the biggest surprises with the fifty
three man roster? To me, I think it's got to
be Karne Reid making the cut at inside linebacker. I

(26:18):
thought it was going to be Lavelle Bailey, maybe Jordan Turner,
maybe both. I did not have Reed as one of
the top guys. Broncos clearly disagreed. And I think this
is also interesting for some reasons Ryan brought up during
KOA Sports earlier today. You know, keeping that streak alive
where the Broncos have twenty one in twenty one of

(26:40):
the last twenty two years a UDFA has made the roster.
That's a great pitch, you know, eight months from now,
when you're having to sell udfas on signing with your team.
You know the thing is, put yourself in the shoes
of UDFA. Right, didn't get drafted. You're hoping to catch

(27:00):
on with some team. You know you're facing an up
he'll climb to make a final fifty three. And you
got two teams calling you, the two and fifteen Cleveland
Browns and the twelve and five Denver Broncos.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
Right.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
I mean, anyone who knows football would probably go, hey,
I've got a better chance of making the really bad
roster that just went two and fifteen, then the higher
quality roster that just made the playoffs. That playoff roster
probably has better players. It'll be hard for me to
catch on. This can help level the playing field some

(27:40):
you know, it's not the end all pe all. I
think most times this comes down to money, but it's
an extra arrow in the Broncos quiver when it comes
to adding this undrafted talent, which we've seen in the past,
can be a nice way to add some guys. That's
not to undercut reads accomplishment though. You know Turner also

(28:00):
a UDFA, also had a great summer for the Broncos.
He's on the practice squad. Reid made the final roster.
Lavelle Bailey. You know, a guy who has shown enough
he might have been able to get poached elsewhere, made
the final roster last year, didn't make it this time around.

Speaker 2 (28:19):
Reid made it instead. So I think.

Speaker 1 (28:23):
Also re just played great in the preseason games. He's
a player I'm going to be interested to watch. I
thought maybe he was too far buried to make it,
but clearly the Broncos think highly of him because that
number four linebacker could start games this year. Both Greenlaw
and Singleton and then even to a lesser extent justin
Sternad have injury red flags. I think it's a safe

(28:45):
assumption that once Drew Sanders comes back, that Reed maybe
lands back on the practice squad. But you know, if
between now and then there's a wave of injuries, heaven forbid,
I think you could see Reid starting games the Broncos.
So when he does get in there, special teams or otherwise,
I'm curious to see what he brings to the table.

(29:06):
Surprise cuts touched on leavel Bailey. I think he's a surprise,
but you know, kind of went into why already. I'll
look in on offense here first, I'm gonna go with
a flashy one. This isn't the biggest surprise, you know,
I more than anything, I probably expected him to get cut,
but I am surprised he's not on the practice squad.
I should say Joaquin Davis Man. He stole my heart

(29:30):
towards the end of camp in the preseason. You know,
he didn't have it all put together yet, but he had,
you know, a handful of really impressive plays. And I
think he was an exciting project because just a rare athlete,
you know, a giant six', four you, know sixty three

(29:51):
six four receiver with legit four three, speed and you,
know there's just not many people on Planet earth with
that athletic, ability AND i think that is an interesting
thing to invest in and try to. Develop bumda didn't
work out for The, Broncos but you, know even as a,
gunner you, Know Tyree cleveland fit a similar filled a

(30:13):
similar bill when he was coming, out and you, know
filled a gunner, role filled a special team's role for
The broncos for a few years before they eventually cut.
Him so even if, it you, know he didn't realize
all his athletic potential could have had a role for
The broncos maybe down the line and. WHATNOT i would
have liked to see him kept, around BUT i can't

(30:34):
pretend like it was of much consequence either.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
That he got let.

Speaker 1 (30:37):
GO i think outside of, that Maybe Adam prentiss And
caleb B. Loohner you, Know Nate adkins made the final,
roster WHICH i think is a great sign for his.
Health that suggests to me that he should be back
within the first four weeks of the.

Speaker 2 (30:51):
Season but.

Speaker 1 (30:56):
What are The broncos going to do between now and?
THEN i guess maybe Call adam P up off the practice.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Squad but it's just it's curious to me what the
plan is.

Speaker 1 (31:06):
There Because Michael burton's on Season, INDIAN i Are Nate
adkins isn't a. Round they don't have a clear option
for that room outside Of Adam, prentice and he's not
on the roster right. Now, again thure he's probably a
practice squad call, it but think that's an interesting. One
last one, Here Caleb, loner he didn't make the. ROSTER
i know a lot Of broncos fans are disappointed about,

(31:28):
That but our Own Dave logan had a really cool
stat on This only six percent of seven seventh round
picks make the fifty three man roster their rookie, Year,
so you, know not the end all be all that
he didn't make it this time, around and he still
is a very intriguing. Project you, KNOW i don't know
if he'll be ready to contribute at all this. Year

(31:50):
he definitely has a long way to. Go that was
very apparent during the. Preseason but another, guy Who, wow
there are not many people on Planet earth who look like.
This and if The broncos can put it all, together
or not even all of, it you, know if they
can just get his FOOTBALL iq and understanding of the

(32:10):
game and the playbook to be a little, higher you,
know he could be a small bit player who you
have some packages for if you get a good matchup one,
week you, know and maybe he catches a red zone
touchdown at some point this. Season you, KNOW i don't
think that's without, question because his rare traits do make
him a kind of uncoverable. Player if he can piece

(32:32):
things together a little more, so even if it's, SMALL
i could see him making it back onto the.

Speaker 2 (32:38):
Roster some other.

Speaker 1 (32:40):
GUYS i had put into the practice squad players to watch.
Here you know those two, Linebackers Lavelle bailey And Jordan.
Turner reed got the nod, now BUT i don't Think
bailey And turner are far. OFF i think they could
maybe see some starting. Time Calvin, THROCKMORTON i thought he
had a very strong. PRESEASON i think if there's injuries

(33:02):
on the at one of the guard, spots you, know
it probably goes to.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
Pout show or pair.

Speaker 1 (33:08):
First BUT i could See throckmorton being one of the
first people up at guard for The broncos if you,
know something bad happens on the. Line Kedron smith And
Reesce taylor in the defensive, BACKFIELD i think they Like
Reys taylor as a special, teamers a depth. Corner if
there are injuries at, Cornerback i'd expect he gets called
up and then you, know no one was able to

(33:30):
Unseat Devon keys that fourth safety for The. BRONCOS i
Think Kedron smith is. Close he's had two strong, preseasons,
too strong camps in a. ROW i think he's got,
great like just great. Instincts knows where the ball, is
always seems to be making a. Play if anyone's going
to Challenge, key for that roster. SPOT i think it'll
Be smith that'll do it for a little bit of

(33:54):
my quick fifty three man roster, Preview but stick. Around next,
segment gonna go over some of The broncos news we
got today Regarding Marvin, Mims Frank, Crumb Sam, ellinger and
also some BIG nfl news relating to THE Afc. West
that's all next on A Broncos country tonight right here
ON koa ninety four ONE, fm eight point Fifty. Am
