notes here real quick on the Giants and I'll get
to the rust thing in a minute. Giants running back
to our own. Tracy's going to miss a couple of
games after suffering a shoulder injury. Doctors are expecting him
to miss two to four weeks with a dislocated shoulder.
He had been the giants number one running back heading
into Sunday Night, but looks like he might have been

supplanted regardless of health after the fairly strong performance from
rookie camp Scatibow. Scatabo was the best part of the
Giants offense Sunday Night finishing game ten carries for sixty
yards six catches for sixty one, likely be the number
one running back against the Chargers and going forward if
he plays at a high level. Devin Singletary, he has
seven touch for twenty yards so far this season. Probably

see a little more action out of him while Tracy's
out going across the city here. Jets quarterback Justin Field
miss miss Week three's loss to the Buccaneers because of
a concussion. Unclear if he'll be back for Week four.
Head coach Aaron Glenn said that he didn't have updated
information on where Fields was in terms of clearing the
concussion protocol, and that information will be necessary to figuring

out whether Toad Taylor will be making another start this week.
Justin came in as our starter. He's been our starter,
so listen tired was the backup, Glenn said via the
team transcript, So I want to make sure I know
exactly where Justin is at. I don't want to say
anything until I know justice is cleared. So once Justin's cleared,
I will let you know exactly where we're going. Fields
had fairly an decent game in the season opening loss

Get into one thing real quick, and that was the
the Ravens field goal that wasn't reviewable because it was
above the upright. I don't know if you guys saw
this during the Lion's game on a night football. The
officials rule that the Ravens had made a field goal
in the fourth quarter, even though it was clear that
it was actually good, it went over the left up

right and that question is not something that's reviewable. Got
a lot of questions about this online. So, field goals
and extra point tries can be reviewed on replay, but
they are not reviewable when the kick is higher than
the top of the uprights.

And that's per the NFL's rules.

Whether a field goal or try attempt crossed over above
the cross bar and inside the uprights is reviewable, but
only if the ball crosses the plane of the goal
post below the top of the up rights, or if
the ball touches anything. So what constitutes a ball going
inside the uprights when the ball is higher than the
uprights well, the whole ball has to be inside the
outer edge, or to be good, the entire ball must

pass through the vertical playing the goal, which is the
area above the crossbar between the uprights, or if above
the uprights, between their outside edges. That's the NFL rule.
Buog No replay angle definitively showed whether the Ravens field
goal was inside the outer edge, or even if an
angle had shown it, the play wasn't reviewable anyway. So
the real solution for the NFL is to either raise

the height of the uprights even higher than the thirty
five feet that they were set at under the new
rule in twenty fourteen. As kickers keep getting better, field
goals pass over the higher uprights even more frequently. You know,
if the officials made a mistake, the NFL is no
way of fixing it. But we've got to find a
way to you know, if this is going to be
something that is going to be occurring, then it's something

that we're going to have to figure out a way
to adjudicate.

One more thing from the Ravens.

Derek Henry, of course, lost that costly fumble in the
fourth quarter. Afterwards, he said, I got to be better,
got to go back to work, He apologized to his
teammates and coaches. Henry is fumbling all three games this season,
including losing crucial fumbles in the fourth quarter both Ravens
losses both to the Bills and Week ones, and the
Lions of Week three. Prior to this season, Derek Henry
only had two fourth quarter fumbles his entire career. Henry,

for his part, seemed a bit surprised, saying it's just
a bit crazy. Three fumbles straight, trying every day to
fix the problem. I'm my worst critic, so I try
to beat myself up too much, but it's hard not
to when I'm consistently doing something. Thirty one year old
Ten Reeves the NFL's active leader in rushing yards when
he arrived in Baltimore last season. He appeared to be rejuvenated,
rushing for twenty one yards last year, but the story

of this season is that he's lost fumbles and three
straight games, two of which have been in the Ravens
two losses, and were very very prominent fumbles that certainly
certainly went along with contributing to that. We talked a
little bit about it. Russell Wilson benched. Jackson Dark going

to get the start for the New York Giants. Dart's
first start. It is gonna be a home game this Sunday.
He'll be against the undefeated Chargers. The Giants also have
Jameis Winston on the on the roster. Head coach Brian
Dable left open the possibility of making a change when

he said yesterday the team was evaluating everything, refused to
declare Wilson's starter. Wilson struggled and Sunday Night's twenty two
nine loss to Kansas City through for one hundred and
sixty yards and tossed to pay interceptions. There was also
a ugly red zone possession late in the contest where
he threw the ball out of bounds, including on fourth down.
It was boomed late in the first half after the
second reception. So the switch to Dart is a move

that could reinvigorate a disappointed fan base. You know, fans
cheered when he came on the field for a snap
in the second quarter, contrasted with the booing after Wilson
to a second quarter reception of the tie game. You know,
Dart's been prepping for this moment ever since the Giants
traded back in the first round to get him. He's
done nothing but a bit impressed. It's taking the field back.

In the spring, he started with the third team offense
and quickly worked his way past Jameis Winston early in summer.
His first extended taste of regular season NFL action will
be obviously the Chargers defense that's currently allowing out of
three hundred yards a game.

Dart will give the.

Giants offense a different look and maybe some more options.
His ability to run the ball and do his own
read will we'll have his version of the offense looked
maybe a little bit different than what you saw this summer.
But he is he is going to be the starter
this Sunday, and so it's gonna be gonna be interesting

to see how he does and what the leash is
on him. If you make that switch, you kind of
got to stick with it. That's one of those things
where you know, you know, jerk a rookie around, bringing in,
then pull him back out. So his figures to be
it for us as the starter there, whether or not
he gets traded, whether or not he just remains serious
the backup. You know that that's one of those things that.

There's been speculation about Cincinnati or New Orleans possibly his
destinations for Russell Wilson. We don't know, but those that's
been speculated. One of the weirder things today, in a
day of moves, the Texans released safety CJ. Gardner Johnson.
In three starts, Garter Johnson had fifteen tackles, no interceptions

or pass breakups. The Texans, who traded their twenty twenty
two first round pick left guard Kenyon Green to the
Philadelphia Eagles for Gardner Johnson back in March, I hope
to add a ballhawk and Garter Johnson had six interceptions
last year for the Eagles and their march of the
Super Bowl title. Garter Johnson has struggled to pick up

tomko Ryan's defensive scheme, which has contributed to several big
plays against the secondary through the first three weeks for
the Texans, who are zero and three on the season. Yesterday,
Ryan's was asked about the communication between his secondary's players,
admitting have been great.

When you see a big play that happens on our
defense in a bust in communication, it starts with communication.

At each of the Texans three losses has been by
seven points or less the minimum. He allowed three big
plays in those games that have contributed to opposing offense
scoring touchdowns, struggle consistently to guard the correct opposing player

threw a thirteen yard touchdown to tight end Davis Allen
ran a corner route in the end zone Gardner Johnson

year tried to clean up the coverage bust, but wasn't
able to run down Allen. Houston lost that game fourteen
to nine, and week two, Tampa quarterback Baker Mayfield threw
an over to wide out Ryan Miller for a twenty

yard touchdown. The Texans were in cover two, which obviously
required Garden Johnson to cover the deep right half of
the field. Instead, he jumped a ten yard breaking her
out from white House Darling Shepherd, exposing the deep path
and Miller scoring the reception. That Texans lost that one
twenty nineteen, and then last week against the Jags, Gardner
Johnson made a crucial mistake with the game not a
ten to ten in the fourth quarter, jumping and out

breaking her out by Parker Washington when he was responsible
for anything over the middle of the field. Jacks quarterback
Trevor Lawrence pounced on the mistake and hit Brian Thomas
on a post for a forty six yard reception down
to the Houston ten yard line. Houston would then allow
Jags running back Travis Atienda score a play later and
damage was done. Texan's unable to find the end zone
and they fell seventeen to ten. Compounding the coverage busts.

Gardner Johnson refused to take responsibility for his mistakes, rubbed
his teammates a wrong way. One member of the team,
Saggy Finger pointed, instead of owning up. The Texans are
hosting the Tennessee Titans on Sunday and both teams are
zero and three. Texans are hoping getting that out will
improve the chemistry and bring them back into the win column.

back to it that the Jets had traded for a corner,
traded for Jarvis Browne junior who had been a starter
for the Titans. They got Browne and a seventh round
pick in exchange for a sixth round pick. Brownlee's recovering
from an ankle injury, but could push Brandon Stevens for

the starting job opposite Sauce Gardner. If nothing else, he
gives him a backup starting experience. Brandon Stevens was a
pricey offseason addition, but allowed a touchdown pass and missed
three tackles in Sunday's twenty nine, twenty seven loss to
the Tampa Bay Bucks that dropped Jets oh and three. Stevens,
the former Ravens starter who's sign a three year, thirty
six million dollar deals a free agent, but has struggled

so far. The outside corners behind Stevens and Gardner are
pretty inexperienced rookie Ezra Thomas and second earplayer Quantest Stickers.
Brownie will be reunited with Jets passing game coordinator Chris Harris,
who held the same title last season for the Titans.

defense and coming off a game in which they failed
to protect the lead in the final two minutes, which

Aaron Glan didn't mention names, but he noted Monday that
players were caught out a position in the game and
lamented the tackling issues. Say we're going to look at
that as a staff. We're going to talk about those things.
We're going to fix those issues. Brownley, who was a
fifth round pick in twenty twenty four by the Titans,
started seventeen games for the Tennessee as a rookie last season.

injury kept him from playing last week. He suffered the
injury in practice and was in a walking boot over
the weekend. In nineteen games, Brownly as ninety two tackles,
ten passes defended one interception. He is known for his
aggressive coverage that at times cost him penalties. Its flagged
fourteen times for total of fifty seven yards last season.

games this year. Titans claimed corner Jalen Armar Davis off
waivers after he was released by the Ravens straight final
cutdowns to the fifty three earlier this month. Robert Davis

Former Seattle Seahawks corner Richard Sherman received a deferred prosecution
in his ongoing dui case. Spokesman for King County Prosecuting
Attorney General's Office said the King County District Court judge
on Tuesday granted a request by Sherman's attorney for the
deferred prosecution, which means a charge is suspended in exchange
for the defendant agreeing to meet certain court requirements. Under

Washington state law, a defendant who requested deferred prosecution must
state that their conduct was the result of a substance
use disorder or a mental problem and agree to two
years of treatment. Court does not proceed with charges if
the terms of the agreement are met not, the court
uses a bench trial to determine guilt. In Washington, a
defer prosecution comes with a five year probationary period and

counts as a prior offense in future DUI prosecution. Sherman
was charged with DUI back in June in connection with
a February twenty twenty four arrest. Twentylator allegedly registered a
blood alcohol level of round point one point one, which
is above the state's legal eleven two point oh eight,
after being pulled over for speeding as part of a
separate incident. He pled guilty in twenty twenty two to
negland's driving in the first degree in criminal trespass and

the second degree. Those misdemeanor charges stemmed from a July
twenty twenty one incident in which he allegedly drove his
SUV into a closed construction site, fled the scene, and
then attempted to break down the door of his in
laws home. Sherman, who's thirty seven, made the Pro Bowl
five times during an eleven year NFL career. I was
a member of the famed legion of Boom Defense, set
up the Seahawks win Super Bowl against the Broncos. Last

played for Tampa in twenty eleven and began working as
an analyst for Amazon Prime broadcasts of Thursday night NFL
games back in twenty twenty two two Terry McLaren seeking
additional opinions on his injured quad, his status for Sunday's
game and Atlanta's uncertain. If he can't play, we'd add

to a growing list of injuries for the two and
one Commanders, who aren't sure about quarterback Jaden daniels availability
for the Falcons game either. Daniels did not play in

on Sunday, and his status is uncertain for Sunday. The

McLaurin injured his squad with four minutes forty seven seconds
left in the third quarter versus the Raiders. Lunged for

officials initially ruled it a touchdown. McLaren bounced up to
supperate celebrate. The replay overturned the score. He'd be Washington

for a thirty four to ten lead. Mclauren did not
return to the game, but jogged to the end zone
after saver Luke McCaffrey caught his first career touchdown pass.
Mclauren hasn't missed a game since Week sixteen of the
twenty twenty season. That's a streak of seventy two consecutive
regular season games. As ten catches, one hundred and forty

nine yards no touchdowns this season after missing all of
training camp due to a contract situation that wasn't resolved
until he signed an extension August twenty fifth. If you
can't play, it's another blow to the Commander's offense. Tight
End John Bates has a GROYD issue. Receiver Noah Brown
didn't play versus the Raiders. They lost running back Austin
Eckler for at achilles for the season, and they're still
awaiting their return of starting right guard Sam Cosmi, who

remains on the pup while recovering for a torny acl
in January. We also had to put three defensive players
on the injo reserve Diatrich Wise, Jonathan Jones, and Will

how much they have to get a touchdown? They can't
settle for a field goal with five minutes remaining twenty

if they tied it, last opportunity with the ball be
able to try to kick a field goal to win it. Instead,
they punt, allow the Chargers to march down a field,
get a touchdown, and then they can't get anything going
on offense. The Chargers march down and get the game
winning field goal instead of creating a two for one,
