Speaker 1 (00:00):
Thanks to Steve Atwater for joining us in the first
hour of any Monsignori for joining us in the last segment.
You missed any parts of any of that, you go
to Broncos, Country Night dot Com, slash podcast or where
we each podcast, Apple iTunes, Spotify, the free and redesigned
iHeartRadio app where you can get to take you forgoted
podcast archives as well. Some of the big news today
that got glossed over. Tom Brady cloned his dog.

Speaker 2 (00:23):
I was hoping you were going to bring that up.

Speaker 1 (00:24):
I'm sorry, what, Yeah, somehow we just collectively agreed not
to talk about this today for whatever reason.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
Tom Brady cloned his dog.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
Where does one go to.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Apparently the cloning company that you own because you're Tom Brady.

Speaker 4 (00:39):
Wait a minute, So Tom Brady owns a cloning company, right,
not a clothing company, not a clothing cloning and he
decided to clone his dog with his dog Eel or something.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
Yeah, she died, his dog Lua. He had a blood
draw because it died in twenty twenty three. So Tom
Brady partnered with something called Colossal Biosciences, which is a
biotech company that he is an investor in, and clone terrifying.

Speaker 2 (01:07):
Yeah, no, not at all cloned.

Speaker 1 (01:08):
You a nothing pet cemetery about this cloned Lua using
a blood sample collected before her death. Brady said that
Colossal's technological approach was non invasive.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Gave my family a second chance.

Speaker 1 (01:19):
The clone of our dog, Juny Shares lewis same colorings
and markings, making the two brown pitbull mixings obviously incredibly similar. Colossal,
which is a company that launched in twenty twenty one,
is the same company.

Speaker 2 (01:32):
And this is the problem that I had. We did
this story a while back.

Speaker 1 (01:34):
You guys may remember that claimed to have genetically engineered
three wolves to make dire wolves. You remember this story, Yeah, okay,
and I kept laughing at it because these are not
dire wolves. These are just regular wolves with a few
gene tweaks, and this company is getting free pr.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Out of it.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
So the company announced that it has acquired ViaGen, which
is a leading company in animal cloning, and so now
they are they are trying to clone dogs, cats, horses.
They've cloned apparently fifteen species, including the blackfooted ferret.

Speaker 4 (02:10):
Yeah, this seems like wrong, and I understand the idea.
You have a family pet you attached to them, you
lose them. But this is kind of a cross between
the twenty eighteen sci fi movie that Keanu Reeve Keanu
Reeves was in called Replicas and Pet Cemetery.

Speaker 2 (02:30):
Yeah, and neither of those movies.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
Right, none of it.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
No, none of it ends. Well, so what happens when
you clone your dog? You're not really getting your dog back?

Speaker 2 (02:41):
We already do.

Speaker 1 (02:42):
We already have a full documentary series about this called
Jurassic Park. And they keep making those movies saying the
same thing though it's the same wars all.

Speaker 5 (02:54):
You know, back in my day, you just buy another
dog of the same breed and give it the same name.

Speaker 3 (02:59):
Well, yeah, I wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
I wouldn't clone. Like I've had some great dogs and
I loved those TIFs. I would never clone it. Like,
you're not getting the same dog, or you're not genetically
the same thing.

Speaker 2 (03:08):
But it's not the same animal.

Speaker 1 (03:09):
It doesn't have the same memories, it doesn't, you know,
it's it's just a similar market.

Speaker 2 (03:13):
Like what are we doing here?

Speaker 4 (03:14):
This is just kind of like risk people stuff, right,
I mean, is this weird people?

Speaker 1 (03:19):
Risk people stuff? This is weird people? How would you
weird rich people? This is weird people stuff. Think you're
you you know you're a baldy play in the NFL.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
You got you got clothing money, bro, I don't have
that type of clothing money. My clone may be reject
you've got clothing money, you don't have money. That's the millionaires.

Speaker 1 (03:39):
Millionaires clothing money versus clothing money.

Speaker 3 (03:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
I was gonna put this in the six pack, but
I just thought it was absolutely ridiculous that Tom Brady
has come out and cloned his dog.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
Uh and now is walking around with a clone dog.

Speaker 4 (03:52):
So so we should be on the alert, high alert,
because I know Tom doesn't want to give up the game.

Speaker 1 (03:59):
That's what I say, cloning himself. Does Tom Brady get
to add to Tom Brady's records if clone tom Brady
comes from place, No, we.

Speaker 4 (04:07):
Cannot because they're not the same person.

Speaker 3 (04:11):
I'm just saying no.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
No, you know I looked through the Tom Brady me tellus.

Speaker 4 (04:19):
No.

Speaker 3 (04:20):
This is just everything about this just says it.

Speaker 4 (04:23):
Just screams wrong. We can't do this. We can't interfere
with mother nature. And you're right, I mean, movies have
taught us this, even though they're fictional movies. But I
mean Jurassic Park has told us don't fool with Mother Nature.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
That's a real life documentary. Okay, okay.

Speaker 4 (04:42):
And then also, I mean James Cameron told us a
terminator right.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
Now we got ai going, not like we're literally like
do it all, you know.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
And then once you say Jeff Goldblum.

Speaker 1 (04:52):
In Jurassic Park where he goes just because we can
doesn't mean we should.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
First is laughing, then they're screaming, it is running.

Speaker 2 (05:00):
Uh huh.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
I'm just waiting one of these idiots is gonna do this.
You get like a tarannosaurus.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Wow. Just think about this and think about what we
have now, because when when I was a kid, the
rave was like in the twenty twenties, we're gonna have
flying cars. That was kind of the idea. Yeah, where's
my hoverboard? Yes, I don't mean Tom Brady's clone dog.
Where's my hoverboard? Yes, that'st I can do as a

(05:25):
clone dog.

Speaker 2 (05:27):
See see see see.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
If I wasn't listening correctly, I would have thought you
said a corn dog, bro.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
That probably is really the best I can do. I
get you corn dog? Oh, catch up a mustard. Wow,
it's ridiculous.

Speaker 1 (05:43):
Other big news today see you named Juju start a quarterback.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
I knew that was coming. I think, yeah, we all
kind of assumed.

Speaker 4 (05:51):
But yeah, at this at this stage of the game,
you need to see what the young guy can do. Obviously,
it was an epic fail with uh K and Salter.
I was rooting for him to kind of turn the
corner and just things didn't just mesh with both he
and Pat Sherman, and understanding also watching CU games, it
was almost like watching your doors Sanders in his first

(06:13):
year playing behind that offensive line. The CU Buffs don't
really have playmakers. They have big guys, tall big guys
as far as body and weight, but no one can
who can actually go out there and make it play.
And then your favorite offensive coordinator, Pat.

Speaker 3 (06:28):
Sherman, right, hasn't really changed.

Speaker 4 (06:31):
Up his scheme and I don't know if that has
a lot to do with the personnel they have, but
whatever they were doing, it wasn't working.

Speaker 1 (06:37):
It wasn't and this season has been a disaster for Colorado.
A fifty three to seven loss to Utah back in
October twenty fifth worst home loss fifty two to seventeen
against Arizona. When he was asked why he made the switch,
Dean said, quote common sense.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
He I love hey, listen, tell you.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
We both we all three of us know this.

Speaker 4 (07:02):
And if you were driving around listening to us, probably
Stacey in Utah, you know, understands this as well. Common
sense isn't as common as you think to a lot
of people. So for coach prom saying just common sense,
Hey man, I'll applause you.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Hey, hey, you gotta do something.

Speaker 5 (07:16):
It is it a week too late. I would have
done it last week. Man, you're playing Arizona at home.
I would have given him his first start at home. Yeah,
for sure. Right now he's got to go on the
road to the brutal West Virginia Mountaineers who just beat
Houston and lost to Ohio University earlier in the year.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
You had to get reading. Right now. It is Ohio
winning right now. In some action they are okay, I
saw you pump up your fists.

Speaker 3 (07:41):
I assume sometimes it's baptism by fire.

Speaker 4 (07:44):
And you learn from being placed in these situations because
obviously what I love to see to see you buffs win. Yes,
of course, chances are that they're going to be competitive.
I don't know, because watching those CEEU games, man and
I'm not as I'm to see you, God, because I
didn't go to see you. But I like what coach
Prime is bringing or has brung to the CEU organization, and.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
I want to see them win.

Speaker 4 (08:09):
But I get frustrated, like I'm an alumni when I
don't see defensive players actually show a lot of effort,
a lot of energy. Like last week they were like
the Keystone Cops just tripping over one another. I'm like,
you know what, It's funny because that's where coordinator comes from.

Speaker 2 (08:28):
Yeah, what a minute.

Speaker 4 (08:29):
I don't want to put what we're seeing from the
Cincinnati Bengals on Robert Livingsta I'm saying, but I can
understand making that that comparison, and it's got to be
frustrating for him because you scheme all weekend and you
have great practices, but then the guys don't go out
on the field and they don't execute.

Speaker 3 (08:49):
That's one of the toughest.

Speaker 4 (08:50):
Things being a former player that you feel as though
you want to change that you cannot change.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Yeah, I just I mean the thing about this day
is and by the way, the buff opened up as
seven point dogs on the road, six and a half
point dog. Excuse me, on the road to West Virginia,
but just does not fix the defense. And that's that
has been a large portion of the problem this year.
I mean, the the buffs are two hundred and sixth
and the NCAA points allowed to forty sixth in total
yards allowed, and they have been brutal, brutally bad at

(09:20):
stopping the run. Two hundred and eighty second in the
in college football. How many teams are there?

Speaker 6 (09:25):
Yeah, my god, yeah, it's it's it's brutally bad in
terms of the rushing yardage that they allow.

Speaker 2 (09:38):
You know what else was really bad?

Speaker 5 (09:40):
Speaking of Alma maters, what's that Georgia Tech?

Speaker 3 (09:46):
Why do you.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
Right when they get some love top ten team?

Speaker 4 (09:50):
Hold on, grant, hold on, hold See see I took
all the neon you know, jokes saying my clothes like skittles.

Speaker 3 (10:02):
Yes, yes you did. But now you're trying to double down.
We're talking about Georgia Tech.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
See see that's hitting below the bell. That's something I.

Speaker 3 (10:11):
Expect from the gentlemen. To my right, I didn't expect
that from you.

Speaker 2 (10:14):
I do not recall the incident in question.

Speaker 4 (10:17):
I mean, come on, man, yes, yes, Georgia Tech, Yes
we lost. Should they have lost, No, but they didn't
play well enough where the outcome should have been different.

Speaker 3 (10:27):
Right, Maybe they just kind of.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
Got to a situation where they were listening to everyone
praise them in Georgia and reading the news clips and
all of these things.

Speaker 3 (10:38):
And this is what happens.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
Man teams get tripped up because they haven't been here before.
They don't know how to win these types of games
with this type of praise.

Speaker 5 (10:46):
But maybe this is just what they needed. Lost now
win the rest of the way. Got Georgia in a
couple of weeks, they went out, they're still in it.

Speaker 4 (10:54):
See that's different, right, because when you look at the rankings,
I mean there's a lot of SEC schools you know
or are sitting in the top fifteen.

Speaker 1 (11:05):
The whole SEC West is looking for a new coach
right now. Well that is true between Auburn and Arkansas
and LSU, and I think Lane giff it's looking at
Florida's gonna be old missed like the whole.

Speaker 2 (11:17):
SEC West is looking for.

Speaker 4 (11:19):
Well, I mean, once again, when when you look at
the rankings from what three five, from three to six,
all SEC teams, all SEC teams and all teams with
one loss so for Georgia Tech and teams like that, man,
you can't afford to have any losses at all. And listen,

(11:40):
the Four Letter Network continues to pump the rankings, so
they are affiliated with the SEC, so they want a
lot of those schools to be in the college football
playoff conversation, So a lot of conferences, man, you don't
really stand a chance.

Speaker 2 (11:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (11:54):
Actually, yeah, Big twelve too. I mean they're beating up
on each other now and the Big Twelve. Say what
you will about some of the teams, but they've got
some great teams at the top, like byu Is, Legit, Utah, Legit,
Arizona State before Sam Levitt went down Legit. So I
think you're right, But I will say this SEC football

(12:16):
does just look better than every other conference. And why
look at the players faster?

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Yeah, I mean, look at the draft every year. Who's
getting picked SEC players? SEC speed? Man, it's a real thing.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
You know, you're you're from Florida, you know about SEC speed.

Speaker 3 (12:31):
Yeah, I'm from Florida.

Speaker 4 (12:33):
But you know, I just don't like this whole SEC
things because if that continues to be the topic of conversation,
no school from any other conference, you know, with the
one loss or maybe even two losses, can really get
into the college football playoffs.

Speaker 3 (12:49):
And everyone used to hate the beat old bcs.

Speaker 4 (12:51):
But I don't think like even what they're doing right
now with ESPN being in control of this, to my standpoint,
it doesn't help like for me.

Speaker 3 (13:00):
I mean, I didn't go to Indiana, but I'm rooting
for them.

Speaker 4 (13:03):
I'm hoping that they finished the season without a loss
and they really make some noise in the College Football
playoffs because I mean, that team, when you think about it,
what they've been able to do.

Speaker 2 (13:14):
I mean, via the.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Transfer portal, you can use the NILS. This is what
college football will look like as.

Speaker 3 (13:21):
We move forward.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Yeah, that's pretty simple.

Speaker 3 (13:23):
I win.

Speaker 1 (13:24):
Yeah, yeah, coach Signetic google me. That's that's an all timer. Vandy,
by the.

Speaker 2 (13:28):
Way, ranked one spot ahead of Georgia Tech. Vandy at
seven and two.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
They got two losses.

Speaker 2 (13:33):
They're Vanderbilt though, and.

Speaker 4 (13:36):
Then and and what what conference are they in? No?

Speaker 2 (13:39):
They Mighty SEC.

Speaker 5 (13:40):
See, well, you know if Georgia Tech had Diego PAVI,
Well here's here's the one that did.

Speaker 1 (13:44):
Bothers me Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss All one loss teams
are ranked ahead of BYU.

Speaker 3 (13:51):
That's right.

Speaker 2 (13:52):
And the reason they're ranked the same thing that you.

Speaker 4 (13:55):
And Grant are spewing is because they're in the SEC
and they're perceived to be better than everyone else.

Speaker 2 (14:02):
It's not that they think they're better than everybody, it's
that they are.

Speaker 7 (14:04):
But if you take if you take any of those
three SEC teams played b YU on a neutral site,
who are you picking your money on the line?

Speaker 2 (14:14):
Who are you picking to win the game?

Speaker 3 (14:16):
I'm gonna use b YU.

Speaker 2 (14:18):
I'm gonna take b YU over Alabama.

Speaker 1 (14:19):
I'm gonna ol miss but I'll probably take a BYU
over Alabama.

Speaker 4 (14:24):
No way, Yes, I'm gonna yes, seriously, because look, when
you think about b YU, they're they They are well coached,
they are tough, right, and they are physical type of team,
just like you guys were just raving about how the
SEC how tough they are, I.

Speaker 3 (14:41):
Mean by us both that one.

Speaker 5 (14:42):
You can't forget how much pent up energy those b
YU football players have.

Speaker 2 (14:48):
I what you did that goes a long way there,
Grant goes some of the athletes are not adhering to
the code of conduct. I'm just saying it's hard.

Speaker 1 (15:02):
I'm not calling out at the specific jimmer for debt.

Speaker 4 (15:04):
It's hard, it's a struggle.

Speaker 2 (15:08):
We got a break six peg, we come back.

Speaker 5 (15:14):
Breaking news for everyone that was worried about the game
in Colorado. Ohio University has beaten their hated rival Miami
of Ohio and have moved into a four place tie
into the lead in the MAC Conference.

Speaker 1 (15:28):
Okay, it's our crack reporter on the scene, Grant Smith.
Ohio University Bobcats have defeated the Miami of Ohio RedHawks.

Speaker 2 (15:38):
I believe, yes, yeah, to beg minutater. What is Ohio
the Bobcats? Correct? Does those those famous quarterbacks come from
school Ben roethlis Roethlisberger should be the easy one. Yes,
I mean, who do you say? Tyler Tetleton Probably I
was gonna say maybe Nathan Rourke. Maybe he got a
little cup of coffee in the air.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
Probably the best quarterback that could out of there. But
Tyler Tittleton's Mickey Tittleton's son, the.

Speaker 5 (16:02):
Former Tyler Tittleton put ou into some bowl games, which
was rare air for Ohio University football when he got there.

Speaker 3 (16:09):
Does the winner of the game get some bonus skyline chili? No,
that would have been great.

Speaker 4 (16:15):
Nocinnati skyline chilly and diabetes.

Speaker 2 (16:23):
And in case you watered uh or you do you?
Are you a title? Tyler Tilton fan, Yeah, I will
tell him. He said, hello, Oh you know him?

Speaker 3 (16:31):
I do?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Okay, do you know what he's doing now? No idea.
He is the wide receivers coach assistant wide receivers coach.
Accuse me for the Jacksonville Jaguars. Maybe that's why Nathan
Rourke got a cup of coffee with the Jackuars.

Speaker 1 (16:42):
Bumped into Well, he's a recent development, it's not you know,
not back then. But but I bumped into I didn't
know that's what he was doing. I bumped into him
when doing at Travis Hunter thing and so that was, Yeah,
that was I'm trying to remember the name of the
running back that was with Tyler Tittleton when he was
there bow something and he was a stud.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
He like cam' skataboo. Yeah, I have to.

Speaker 1 (17:02):
Remember I Tyler never got I don't think he ever
got in the NFL. I remember he went to the CFL.
He was at the Hamilton tie Cats for a minute,
but I don't remember day. Anyway, let's get six pack.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
You don't want to talk about the Ohio bobcat. To
talk about the Ohio bobcat bread, I'd probably be up
here this time for the NFL six pad.

Speaker 4 (17:21):
I'm gonna trade a lot year the night, insighted inside
information you can't find anywhere else. No.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Six the top six NFL headline.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
What the Dolphins asking price was too high for Jalen
Waddle and Bradley Chubb. The Dolphins traded edg rusher Jalen
Phillips to the Eagles, but that was a lone big move.
Despite the two and seven record for the multiple ports,
the Dolphins received calls about wide receiver Jayler Wattle edg
rusher Bradley Chubb asking price like the rent was just
too damn high. Though Wattles signed a three year contracts

(17:52):
extensions with the Dolphins last year putt him on a
contract through twenty twenty eight. As forty one catches five
eighty six yards four touchdowns this year, Chob has two
more gears this deal, but no guaranteed money remaining on
the contract and has high cap numbers the next two
seasons at thirty one point two thirty one point five million,
so he's not gonna see the one of those. He
has four sacks seven quarterback hits in nine games. It's
returning from a torn a cl white out his last season.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
Dolphins wanted a one and three for a for Jalen Waddle.

Speaker 1 (18:17):
Nobody was willing to pay that. Sean Payton said, absolutely not.
How do we feel about not pursuing Jalen Waddle?

Speaker 3 (18:26):
I feel great about that idea.

Speaker 4 (18:28):
Why give up draft capital when you don't have to
rely on the only guys that you have more poorly,
it's been a little more creative and dynamic and get
more of those guys involved. So the Broncos are satisfied
with what they have. Adding another guy into the mix
right now and trying to get him up to speed
is still not going to get the same level of
production that that guy.

Speaker 3 (18:47):
Was in camp.

Speaker 1 (18:48):
Yeah, it's it's fascinating to me because you know, a
lot of times they get people telling me that I
hate Sean Payton, and you know, I can I can
never say anything positive about him. I'm saying that this
was positive in the hit by him for not doing that,
you know, not going out and doing that, and I've
got the fan base meltic doubt about him not doing
it and blaming, for some reason, George Payton for it
instead of shot.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
Bag, which is hilarious to me. Idol Weird two.

Speaker 1 (19:13):
Derek Brooks overturns Frankie Luvu's one game suspension.

Speaker 2 (19:17):
I thought this might interest you.

Speaker 1 (19:18):
Nick Nfil's first suspension for multiple violations of the rule
against hip drop tackles has failed, the league announced till
Tuesday night, the hearing officer Derek Brooks has overturned the
one game suspension. He will instead be fined one hundred
thousand dollars for his third violation since Week four. League
find him twenty three thousand, one hundred eighty six and
in Week four against the Falcons forty six thousand in
Week eight against the Chiefs, who have committed another violation

(19:40):
of the rule against the Seattle Seahawks. The message seems
to be, as far as Brooks is concerned, free violations
aren't sufficient to justify a suspension.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
Presumably if he.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
Commits another one, he would be That's how progressive discipline works.
Beyond the ability to play on Sunday, Lulu has now
saved more than four hundred thousand dollars because the suspension
would have cost him a game. Check at the amount
of five hundred eight thousand, three hundred thirty three dollars.

Speaker 4 (20:01):
Man, he needs to buy Deep Brooks a nice little
Christmas gift because he saved him a bag on this one.
But for me, when I look at it, I know
the league is trying to crack down on this particular
tackle and watching some of Logo's plays, to me, this
is a fundamental issue when it comes to him tracking.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
Guys from the side or behind.

Speaker 4 (20:21):
So hopefully he's getting proper coaching and he can fix
up his technique. If not, one more hip drop tackle
and he's going to get a one game suspension.

Speaker 1 (20:30):
Yeah, And if you've done this three times and been
fine for it, Like you know Bill saying on the
other side of it, is he either coaching it or
allowing it to happen.

Speaker 2 (20:38):
You're either not learning it or you're being delivered. At
this point, it's not me, it's you.

Speaker 3 (20:43):
That's basically what it is.

Speaker 2 (20:44):
No, it's definitely you. It's definitely you. Three Broncos estimated injury.

Speaker 1 (20:49):
Report Thursday Night Football delivered some good news for players
upgraded to limited participants. Brandon Jones, safety PJ Locke, wide
receiver Marvin Mems in the concussion protocol. That's good news
for him. And corner Riley Mall estimated as non participants.
But I will tell you all three of those four
definitely expected to be ready for the game. Brand Jones
part with miss right the boss PJ. Locke is the
actual real questionable win there procus Corse didn't actually practice.

(21:11):
They just held a walk through inside the inside the
field house today. Mims did not practice last week. He
was inactive for the win over the Texans, as was Locke.
Moss played every defensive snap against the Texans. Well Jones
played all but three snaps. Also in the injury port
outside linebacker John Cooper the thumb, defensive lineman John frank
Lamar's shoulder, tackle DJ Jones the knee.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
They were all.

Speaker 1 (21:32):
Estimated as full participants after being listed as limited on Monday.
Corner Patser Tan, tight end Date Adkins, a kicker Will
Lutz were estimated non participants. LUTs with an illness and
the new addition to the practice support, but expected to
be good to go on Thursday.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
LUTs is supposed to be good on Thursday. Supposed to
be good. Okay, it's an illness, all right, Well, here's.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
Where I'm looking at this situations, gentlemen, is because when
we at this stage of the season and you're coming
of a game where you have to travel from Houston,
it's not like you're coming totally from the East Coast,
and if you have a Thursday night game, there's no
need for contact practice.

Speaker 3 (22:09):
Have a walkthrough, go through all the mistakes that you've
made up to this.

Speaker 4 (22:12):
Point, and hope that your veteran leadership can actually help
push you through this game.

Speaker 3 (22:17):
Because this is the Raiders.

Speaker 4 (22:19):
If it were Kansas City of anyone else, maybe you
need to get a little more practice time.

Speaker 3 (22:23):
But it's the Raiders. How much practice time do you
actually need for the two and six Raiders?

Speaker 2 (22:29):
I think we're let's find out four.

Speaker 1 (22:33):
Jakobe Bressett will start for the Cardinals against those red
hot Seattle Seahawks on Sunday. Cardinals head coach John Gannon
announced today berste will remain the starter Kyler Murray and
this the last three games.

Speaker 2 (22:44):
Of the foot injury.

Speaker 1 (22:46):
Gannon said, quote, Chakobe will start and Kyler will keep
working on his health.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
I do like whate of the offense is doing right now.

Speaker 1 (22:51):
We've operated well, we will go from there again, and
said he's not ruling out the possibility of Murray being
active for Sunday's game, but if he's active, he won't
be starting. After beating the Cowboys on yesterday, Gannon said
that Murray will start with healthy ass today. If he
plans to go back to Murray, Gannon said he's only
focused on Seattle.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
He sounds like a note.

Speaker 1 (23:10):
If Prisett plays well the Cardinals upset the Seataws, it
might be hard for him to stick with that stance
and just Doubtright name him the starter for the rest
of the season. Again, did say the likes how they're
operating the offense and in said they're doing a pretty
good job. Like where the offense is at right now,
covers Sett, he's been a better fit for that offense,
if we're being honest. They look good, even though it
was against Dallas. They looked good before that with Brissett
in there, and they're starting to win games. They were

(23:31):
losing close ones. Now they're winning games, and watch out
for the watch out for the Cardinals the second half
of the season.

Speaker 3 (23:36):
I think Brissett gives.

Speaker 4 (23:37):
Them a little more consistency and rhythm.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
Into to the offense.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
I think this was kind of the first time the
season that we saw someone other than Trey McBride leave
them in targets and yards, and that's kind of what
they want. They won offense to stay into somewhat of
a flow. Rossette gives them that right, a reliable, better
not a long term quarterback that you said, well, we're

(24:03):
gonna have him for the next two or three years,
but if you're trying to win games in the still
some confidence, he's definitely the guy for you.

Speaker 1 (24:10):
Yeah, you know, Jacob Rissett is going to be the
bridge to something else. Kyler is not going to be
there next year. Like I'm spoiler surprise for you what
you said earlier. Do you think the Jets think that.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
I think the Jets New Orleans would be in that
mixes or will he moved to the MLB.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
I don't think that's Be's face. I think it'll be
the Jets of New Orleans. We'll see five.

Speaker 2 (24:30):
Speaking of the Jets, Darren.

Speaker 1 (24:32):
Moogie uh said the offers for Quinn Williams and Sauce
Gardner were too good to pass up. Jets involved in
two the biggest deals ahead of the trade deadline today
and GM Darren Mougie, former of the Broncos, held a
press conference to discuss the deals. After the deadline passed.
Moujie traded corner Sauce Gardner to the Colts and defensive
tackle Quinn wayne Is the Cowboys, and a pair of

(24:52):
trades that brought back a twenty twenty six first rounder,
a twenty twenty six second rounder, and two twenties twenty
seven first round Dicks also wide receiver Ady Mitchell and
defensive tackle Mazzie Smith. Mouchie said that it is never
easy moving on from any player, let alone guys like
Sawston Quinn, but that they felt the team got the
offers they could not resist. Jets signed Garter for your

(25:14):
extension this offseason, but Mouji said it was structured to
make sure Garterer could be traded in the future, and
obviously was. The expectation was not that it would happen
quite so quickly, I assume, but the offers from the
Colts kept getting richer and richer in their value. At
one in seven, the Gems Jets had ample reason to
look forward to the future before the trades. Now they've
made I think we know how they're viewing this season

(25:35):
as a tank season, which you.

Speaker 2 (25:36):
Were definitely doing if you brought in justin field to
your quarterback to begin with. Wow, had to get one
in right. What do we think about these deals that
the Jets made as they are tearing this thing down
for a rebuild.

Speaker 4 (25:47):
Well, I think it's working out well for both sides,
the players that are going to other teams where they
have a clean slate. For saus Gardener, I think he
wore out as welcoming. He wasn't really living up to
that high draft choice out of Cincinnati a couple of
years earlier, and they did give him an extension I
think not too long ago, like maybe right after PS

(26:10):
two got his extension. So this works out forward the Jets,
and the Jets get two first round picks twenty twenty
six and twenty twenty seven.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
Now the question is, even though you have those picks,
can't your draft? Can't you develop?

Speaker 4 (26:23):
Now? They can do that now they would have made
out back some thieves. But if they can't, now they're
back in the same place they were before.

Speaker 5 (26:30):
I love the meme going around of the picture of
sauce Gardner and it says went to bed one and seven,
woke up seven and two.

Speaker 2 (26:36):
I'm pretty happy. Yeah, he probably is. He was a winner,
you know.

Speaker 1 (26:39):
I Quentin Williams went out of the frying pan of
the fire, leaving the Jets and going to Dallas. Dallas
is suddenly interesting. Though they got Logan Wilson today, you
got Quentin Williams had Kenny Clark.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
The defense is starting to slowly come along.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
They can't cover anybody still, but the front seven might
be you know, it might be halfway.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
Respect. Are you giving Jerry Jones some flowers on this flower?
I'm giving him one daisy. That's fair, Well, only a daisy.
Huh wow, you know daisy? I feel you toombstone. Nobody, Okay, fine? Sick.
The Cowboys are puff for trade. It's like Quinn Williams
and Logan Wilson.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
See what I did there.

Speaker 1 (27:15):
Day after the Cowboys lost to the Cardinals twenty seven
to seventeen, some incredibly handsome, incredibly intelligent analysts said during
Show Me the Money yesterday that he would take the
Cardinals and didn't need the points.

Speaker 2 (27:26):
I can't remember who. I don't remember Ryan Edwards saying,
really matter which handsome smart person said that?

Speaker 1 (27:31):
Benjamin break but anyway. Cardinals win that one twenty seven
to seventeen. The Cowboys fell to three to five, and
one team trade for defensive tackle Quinn Williams linebacker Logan
Wilson to boost eight defense that ranks thirty first in
points thirty first at yards. Only the Bengals, who are
on pace to break the NFL record for most points
at Morst Yards, are worse Oday, Brian.

Speaker 2 (27:53):
Schotteimer said, it's exciting.

Speaker 1 (27:55):
Kudos to Jerry and Steven and Will McLay for being aggressive,
but then smart couple moves.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
We made you getting guy not just for this year
but beyond. I think it's great. He's two terrific players,
two terrific young men.

Speaker 1 (28:05):
Cowboys sent the aforementioned picks and Mazie Smith the Jets
at a seventh round of the Bengals for Logan Wilson.
Dak Prescott said, I'm bleeping pumped. The trade for Wilson
was the trade Jerry alluded to during interviews when he
said he'd agreed to a deal but had not didn't
announce it yet, and that's which is why Logan Wilson
was inactive on Sunday, and the Cowboys are trying to

(28:25):
get both players acclimated.

Speaker 2 (28:26):
Do we think Dallas did anything here? Did they move
the neat little?

Speaker 4 (28:30):
I think they moved it some because obviously they're having
issues defensively, and if you want to give Zach dak
Press got an opportunity, you're going to have to get
some takeaways. And when you're able to build up your
defense and having guys that can get after the quarterback,
it makes her back in that much better. So have

(28:51):
they really tip the skills in their favor? No, not really,
but they gave himselves an opportunity to be competitive with the.

Speaker 3 (28:58):
Move they made.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
Yeah, I mean, you know, Dallas is going to Dallas
as far as that kind of stuff goes, always gonna
be a spectacle. But all of a sudden, that defensive
line starts looking a little gnarly. I mean Kenny Clark
and Quentin Williams as interior lineman, that's those that's some
that's some guys for some dudes.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
But they still don't really have a dominant edge rusher.
That's why you impact the game. Uh, the quick is
having those guys who get off the edge. Now you
still have Davian Colownty, but obviously he's just trying to.
He's a shell of himself.

Speaker 1 (29:29):
Yeah, he's more of a run fits guy too, you know,
he's and it's funny that the one guy that they have, uh,
they do have Dante Fowler, but James Houston was the
guy they brought it.

Speaker 2 (29:37):
They thought was gonna be that guy, and he's not.
He's just not been that guy either.

Speaker 4 (29:42):
Well, you know what, you gotta give Jerry Jones some
credit for at least trying. He could have just put
it on the whole situation and just say, you know what, I'm.

Speaker 3 (29:52):
Not gonna do anything.

Speaker 4 (29:53):
This season's watched, but at least it shows though he's
still trying to make some move to kind of change
some things for the Cowboys.

Speaker 2 (30:00):
Want a little nugget, I'll give you guys one.

Speaker 1 (30:02):
Jerry was also out there trying to get mikea Fitzpatrick
but couldn't land the plane.

Speaker 2 (30:06):
Hmmm, that would have been interesting. Take that for what
you will. So he was trying to get make a
Fitzpatrick and the Dolphins couldn't land a plane on it.

Speaker 3 (30:14):
Well, you know what, once again, you can't blame him
for trying.

Speaker 4 (30:19):
It's one thing to take a swing and miss, opposed
to coming to the plate and laying down a bunt.

Speaker 3 (30:26):
Right, Hey, so I give him credit.

Speaker 1 (30:28):
Yeah, I thought all in all, I mean it could
it could have been significantly worse for Dallas as far
as that kind of stuff goes.

Speaker 5 (30:33):
And if you look at it, I mean, their offense
has been great obviously, not last night against the Cardinals.

Speaker 2 (30:39):
That's two nice.

Speaker 1 (30:39):
By the way, every team except for the who is
it the Chargers, No, the Colts. Every team that's except
the Colts that has played the Broncos was lost.

Speaker 3 (30:48):
The next week.

Speaker 2 (30:49):
Yeah, because we're tough. Interesting little factory there at Mojo.

Speaker 5 (30:53):
Speaking of boys, only two games out of the wild
card right, speaking of by the way, speaking of the Colts,
the Broncos and the Colts are the only two teams
in the NFL that of a perfect record at home
this year.

Speaker 2 (31:03):
Hmmm.

Speaker 1 (31:04):
I love that this is Thursday Night Football coming up
against the Raiders home game.

Speaker 2 (31:09):
Your wedn the Street continues.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
How Daniel Jones feel that the cults are just going
all in for him at QB. I mean you got
it like you're getting brand out of new right.

Speaker 1 (31:16):
Yeah, we're well, we can afford to pay you or
say quad, but not both of you you could have
found a way.

Speaker 4 (31:21):
But the guy that you should be concerned about and
worried about is Anthony Risism.

Speaker 3 (31:24):
What is he thinking right now?

Speaker 2 (31:26):
Where am I playing next year?

Speaker 1 (31:29):
GAA not gonna work here anymore anyway, Broncos Country Night
back out of this.

Speaker 3 (31:33):
Please gotta beat Colevin Franklin.

Speaker 2 (31:35):
The foot call is the one man called Detroit Franklin.
He's the only one catching it. He's the only one
coming down with diabetes, diabetes, di gi diabetes,
