Speaker 1 (00:00):
By the way, we had a bunch of people texted

(00:01):
in there real quick. First of all, people were commiserating
with my nerdiness. I didn't realize how many D and
D players we actually had that were listeners. Maybe one
day we'll do we'll do a theme show there or something.
And then the Footsie Brit stuff like Footsie Albright has
a nice, nice rindit so Mari's Britt whose nickname was Footsie.
His wife was Patsy Albright now Murice. Britt was drafted

(00:25):
in the NFL. I played for the Lions back in
like the nineteen forties. He was lieutenant governor of Arkansas.
He's a war hero, he was a national track championship.
He's like the track Hall of Fame. So he is
by far the most famous resident of where I come from.

Speaker 2 (00:36):
And then there's me, and I'm like, could you just.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Leave me off the Wikipedia page because like it's it's embarrassing.
They see his resume and then they see you and
they're like, we're right, this is the second most famous guy.
They're more related too, because again his wife was Patsy Albright,
who is my great grandfather's sister, So we're related. On
top of that, So it's twice as embarrassing because I know,
like the family history, I'm like, I do not belong
in the same pantheon as as foot seat break. I

(01:01):
don't belong as the same pathy on this as our
next guest to either, let's go to the Ko Commas Bros.

Speaker 1 (01:06):
Hotline and bringing our good friend Nikki Javala and Nikki,
how you doing?

Speaker 4 (01:09):
I'm good, How are you doing well?

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Do not mean to give you a history lesson while
it was uh, while you're waiting on hold there about
my life?

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I had no idea nobody I'm sure, I'm sure no
one cares.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
But yeah, just weird, weird trivia stuff we were getting
into in the last uh, in the last stuff. As
we're looking forward to this game, it's got some it's
got some interest and intrigue to it.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
It's a Sunday night football game. You got to wash
the team, but maybe old butt out of it. At
this point, Jade Daniels returns to practice. There any any
hope that Jayden plays in this game for Washington?

Speaker 4 (01:41):
I don't think so. He's he's out there in practice,
but he hasn't been cleared for contact yet, and there's
no way they would put him on the field. But
even if you work clear to say tomorrow, there's no
way I can't see them putting them on the field
with only two full days of practice. So yeah, I
think the earliest it would be next week, and they

(02:03):
play at Minnesota next week.

Speaker 1 (02:06):
It's been an interesting year for Washington because it felt
like during this offseason, thanks to making the NFC Championship
Game last year as a bit of a surprise, that
they felt like sort of pushing all in. They kind
of went old on defense, grabbed a bunch of guys
and thought they could plug a play that the wheels
sort of, you know, either came off or never got
on this season, depending on how you look at it.

(02:26):
Dan Quinn's taking over the play calling on the defensive side.
What is the state of this team as it sits.

Speaker 4 (02:35):
Old? Like you said, old and injured, you know, I mean,
I think that was one of the issues, and you know,
a lot of it is just dumb bad luck. I
feel like in the first year, everything that could go
right for them did go right. I mean, they won
six games. On the very last play from scrimmage, they

(02:56):
were relatively healthy even deep into the postseason, and it
was It was just sort of one of those magical
seasons where everything came together, and it was heightened by
the fact that this team has just been such a
disaster for so long. I mean, mostly more off the
field than on the field, but certainly on the field.

(03:16):
I mean they'd cycled through I think it was Denvern,
Washington where neck and neck and the number of quarterbacks
they'd cycled through over the last decade. I had no
hand in that. Don't blame me, but it really just
has not been a good brand of football, and so
to have that season was just it was tremendous. It was,

(03:38):
you know, first NFC championship game in what thirty three years,
you have a quarterback that plays the way he does it,
you know, one of the most incredible rookie seasons ever.
I mean, it's it was awesome. And then to come
into this year, I think everybody figured there, you know,
you want to replicate everything that happened last year. You

(03:59):
hoped to build on it by you know that that
was pretty extraordinary. I don't think anybody thought three and eight,
you know, at this point in the season, and a
lot of it has been injuries. You know, they've they've
been decimated. They've lost many key players, starters, just some
significant injuries. I mean, Terry McLaurin will be playing is

(04:21):
what s fours game this weekend and he had only
missed three games total in the you know, previous what
seven seasons of his career. So I mean that they
were without their top three receivers at one point they
were They've been without their top three dns. They're signing

(04:41):
receivers off the street butt and played in over a year.
They just they lost their top two corners, they're starting safety,
like the list goes on and on, and they just
they just hadn't played well. So it's it's in the
same way that last year was a perfect storm, this
year is like the perfect storm of everything that could
go wrong.

Speaker 2 (05:02):
That's often the way the pendulum swings.

Speaker 1 (05:03):
In the NFL talk with Nicki Gavala, the commander supporter
for the Athletic Obviously, Nikki, you were out here in Denver.

Speaker 2 (05:09):
Everybody loves you.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Hear by the way Rod Smith and Nick Ferguson said
for me to tell you hello when they when they
heard you were gonna be on.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Yeah, but you're getting to cover somebody out there.

Speaker 1 (05:19):
Who's kind of beloved by the Broncos fan base. And
I think because of the way that he still embraces
the Denver Broncos.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
This offseason, I.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
Mean, he went on he was publicly saying that he
was campaigning to try to be a Bronco this year,
and that's von Miller.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
What is it like covering Vaughan at this stage of
his career.

Speaker 4 (05:35):
Yeah, no, it's very interesting. I mean, he's, you know,
most most of them, is still very much the same Vaughn,
still quirky, and you know, he's got quads that are
like have their own zip code. I just it's bizarre.
And he can still do a lot of the things
he did before. I mean, obviously he's not the same
player he was in Super Bowl fifty, but I mean

(05:57):
the guy is still effective at the stage in his
career and he's still great with everybody in the locker room.
I think it's I think it's interesting watching him now
because he's a little bit more I guess the word
sub dude maybe like he's I feel like in Denver
he was the guy, you know, he was he was
a guy that got along with everybody. He was a

(06:17):
popular kid. You know, he got along. He was like
the kid in high school I got along with, like
the nerds and the athletes, you know, and I he
was so free to be himself. And it's not that
he's not here, it's just, you know, he's a decade
older than these guys, you know, so he's not joking
around as much like he used to, just because you know,

(06:39):
he also doesn't know these guys like he did in Denver.
And his role on the field is different. It's become
a little bit bigger in recent weeks, just out of need.
They have no passssors liberally, so he's he's taken on
more sets, but they brought him in to be more
of that. They're down specialists, and you know, it's that

(07:02):
part is different. It's interesting seeing seeing him in that role.
I also think it's interesting just seeing how fondly he
thinks of Denver. I mean, I mean, he's very much
a Washington player, and when he's out there, he's given
his all for Washington. But you can tell he misses Denver,
you know. I know he had hoped, you know, to

(07:23):
get signed by Denver, you know, And I think there's
a part of him that still kind of hopes, you know,
he can finish out his career there, but he still
still loves the games.

Speaker 2 (07:34):
So yeah, I think as long as you've got the
love and the body will hold up.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
I mean, more power to you if if somebody's willing to,
you know, to bring you to the roster and and
go to on vond that he's getting the reps, even
if it is sort of out of necessity. Now we're
talking with the Nicks to developed from the athletic the
coaching staff there in Washington. I make no secret of
that on this show. I've got some friends on that staff.
But what is the general temperature amongst the fan base

(07:59):
with that co staff? And Quinn's a guy who's beloved
by everybody who ever plays for him, but certainly seeing
the defense the way it was this year has probably
led to some head scratchers. And Cliff Kingsbury is a
guy who you know, it's interesting the way people viewed
him when he was at Arizona early versus the way
they view him now. What's what's the what is the
general consensus on that coaching staff?

Speaker 4 (08:18):
I mean, I think that it's the same in every market.
You know, when you're winning their you know, mad scientists,
geniuses and oh my god, they Why has nobody hired them?
They just are so smart and brilliant, and when they're
losing it, okay, get rid of this guy. You know,
there's no in between in the NFL. I learned that
a long time ago. There's there's no gray area. You're

(08:41):
either a bus or you're a genius. But I mean,
I still think they love dan Quinn. I mean, the
players still respect the heck out of him. He's still
able to get them going. They still play for him,
and I think he is a very fine defensive coach.
And we saw that week or two weeks ago rather

(09:01):
when they were in Madrid and he took over play
calls that week in the defense. I mean, it was
like a light switch flipped on. You know it is
you know, it wasn't perfect, but it was infinitely better
than you know, the previous five weeks where they just
looked completely unraveled, just a total mass. So I still

(09:22):
think he's he's got something there, and he he's as
genuine as a as a coach that I've been around
in NFL. NFL like there's you know, there's there's not
that doesn't always happen, you know, politely, but he's you know,
I think he's very genuine and the and the players
respect that, you know. I I think the writing is

(09:44):
on the wall with Joe Wett. I think players do
like him, and he still helps out with the secondary
and players do respect them. But it just wasn't working
on the defense. It was part of those King for
I know, there's that that narrative that year two always flips.
I kind of feel like there's that narrative for a
lot of coaches, you know, once there's more film on you.
I mean, I love Wade more than anybody. I adore

(10:06):
Wade notes, but there was that narrative with him too,
you know that that second season, like there's more film
on you. But I do think Cliff has gotten better
with more time, just learning how to adjust. I think
the thing players really like about him is that he
listens to his players. He's not going to always cave
to players. That's it's different, right, It's it's listening to

(10:28):
what they see on the field, knowing what they like
to run, what they feel comfortable running. You push them,
but you don't put them, you know. In a lot
of you don't make them uncomfortable out there. So I
think that's that's what he's done really well. Challenge for
him this season, he's got like a different receiving corps
every every week, you know, so you got mostly if

(10:52):
you don't know which quarterback you're having or you're getting,
and you don't know you know who are going to
be your primary pass catchers, you lose your star running
back in week two. I mean, it's it's been a challenge.
The one consistency he's had is the offensive line, which
is a big one. But you know, there have been
some some challenges in there.

Speaker 2 (11:13):
Well you talk about that receiving corps. That was that
was leading right to my next question.

Speaker 1 (11:16):
I mean you just mentioned you get McLaurin, he's gonna
be what his fourth game already already said that.

Speaker 2 (11:20):
Uh, you know, they get Deebo, Chris Moore, Robbie chosen
as somehow still in the league. It is on that roster.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Trey lem Burts is still somehow on the legal though
he's been uh he's been hurt. River Craigkraft continues to
hang around on the practice squad. You know what what
of that receiving corps is legitimately part of the future.
I think everybody here, you know, kind of rooting for
the Luke mcaverything, even though he's been hurt. But you know,
what of that receiving corps is the future of this team?

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Great question which I knew. Unfortunately, I think that's the
question for almost every position on the team. And I
feel like last year he can't only feeling like you
had a good idea of Okay, maybe maybe here some
of the young pieces they want to start to build around,
Like Mikey Sanders still had a good year at corner.

(12:08):
They shifted him from the nickel to outside. He did
fairly well, especially for a rookie. They liked him, they
liked his versatility. Kwan Martin they really liked him at safety.
Both have really struggled this season, Kwan especially. And then
you move up front. They really like Johnny Newton. He
dealt with, you know, those foot injuries early in the

(12:29):
off season that kind of set him back. But you know,
he's kind of in a way. He disappeared on this line.
And it's not like they they have a ton of
depths back there. They need those pass rushers, but it's
not clear how he fits, you know, at corner, I
mean Trey to me, the core, this team is really

(12:49):
down to like three four players maybe, I mean I
obviously Jayden, I think Trey Amos at corner, Josh Connelly
at tackle, and then you know, depending on the long
term future of Tunsul and kind Law. But the rest
is like I mean, a tight end core hasn't changed
in two years, and zach Ertz, you know, is on

(13:11):
them way out at some point soon. They have no
other pass catchers there. They're receiving courterre Is. His deal
basically keeps them through next season, but he's probably gone
there after because of the numbers. Debo's on an expiring deal.
We'll see what they do there. And then Noah Brown,
who's a really good receiver, he just can't stay healthy.

(13:35):
And then behind him, he got got young guys who
you know, have really stepped up in big roles, but
just aren't quite to that level where you can have
them as you know, you're one and two out there
and running back after losing Eckler, they've yet to find
their true number one. So yeah, there's I feel like

(13:56):
nearly every position out there they're still trying to find
their and at this point you're two years into your
rebuild under Quinn and Peters.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Yeah, and that's that's one of those dangerous things, is
the fleeting amount of time that you you know, you
sort of get as a coach, and especially as a coach,
maybe a little less so as a general manager in
some cases looking at you, Joe Shane. But Nikki, it's
too fleeting with this time as well. I always appreciate
your time. You're one of my absolute favorites. You still
beloved here in Denver, and I appreciate you making the
time to come on the night.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
Of course, we'll see you guys in Washington a second, Yeah,
we will, and you you have yourself a happy Thanksgiving
until then. Sounds good. Thanks guys, all right.

Speaker 2 (14:34):
Take care.

Speaker 1 (14:34):
Nika Jabala from the Athletic. We come back with the
little NFL pick them right here in Broncos Country.

Speaker 3 (14:39):
Tonight, guys, you can watch the Broncos Commanders myself Nick
Ferguson at the Burned Out off Broadway from six to
eight pm on Sunday.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Enter to win Broncos Packers tickets. It's all presented by
Order Tequila, the official tequila of the Denver Broncos look
forward to seeing you all down there.

Speaker 2 (14:56):
At the burndown.

Speaker 3 (14:58):
Why is it only six to eight? Don't that's what
it says in the copyright. I think we're going to
be here for the whole game. I was going to
say halftime.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
I mean maybe Nick is I don't know, and I
don't get his feet pretty much.

Speaker 3 (15:09):
I I don't know what the you know, I don't
know what the diva you know, the diva people.

Speaker 2 (15:12):
I don't know. I'm not the d I'm the I'm
just some some cog of the machine.

Speaker 3 (15:15):
But you know, I don't know these uh, these afternoon
drive guys like Ryan Edwards and you know, and Nick Ferguson,
whoso was on there today.

Speaker 1 (15:23):
And I don't know what kind of special thing. Maybe
they only have to be there for half. I got
to be there for the whole thing.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
Yeah, well, I mean, if you're a footsie, maybe you
could leave.

Speaker 1 (15:30):
I could hook it right out of there, right as
as Eminem said, you know, Will Smith don't got a
cuss in his wraps to sell records?

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Will I do? And I'll leave the rest of that
quote up to you. Yeah, please don't finish it. This
metaphor pick them started off Turkey Day.

Speaker 3 (15:48):
Green Bay taken on Detroit Lions are favored by three
over under forty eight and a half, a high number
for an early game like that. Also, these two teams
said prett good defenses in a short week.

Speaker 2 (16:02):
I definitely like the under here. I'm not sure which
team I like, though, I kind of have a.

Speaker 3 (16:10):
Sneaking feeling about green Bay, even though the Lions just
love it on Thanksgiving. I picked green Bay on KOA
Sports earlier today and everyone was like, really, I'm with you,
but I mean, this is for what second place in
the NFC North. I guess because the Bears are in
first place it right now, all the otters have a
really rough schedule for the next day do and I

(16:31):
think the winner of this game will win the NFC North.
But I kind of like the Packers in this one
as well. I don't really have a rhyme or reason
for it. I think the Lions just aren't quite back
to where they were last year. Their running game is
obviously still dangerous. I'm not sure if the Packers will
have Josh Jacobs back or not in this one.

Speaker 2 (16:49):
But I'm believing in love this things Giving. I don't
know if I believe in love as much as I
believe in.

Speaker 1 (16:53):
Michael Parsons and Dan Campbell, take it over. The play
calling has kind of made this offense in ormiss at times.

Speaker 3 (16:59):
Had to go to time last week against the Giants.
So I'm saying so something to keep it on. Kansas
City at Dallas in Game two, two thirty. Kick there
on Mountain time.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
Kansas City three point favorite over under fifty two in
this one, expecting some fireworks. I think I'm on the
under in this one as well. I under I think
Dallas plus three and a half if you get that hook.
I love Dallas plus three in the hook in this one.
I do believe it's going to be a close game.
I think Dallas gonna run the ball fairly successfully. I
have a sneaking suspicion about the Dallas Cowboys in this week.

Speaker 2 (17:32):
I would love to see the Dallas win.

Speaker 3 (17:33):
The Dallas Cowboys win this game straight up, but I
just think the Chiefs are figuring it out. Man that
that was a big win last week against the Colts,
going to overtime, winning that game on the road or sorry,
at home, but it was it was just a game
where it's like this is the one that's gonna really
end their season, and they found a way to come
back and win it, and I think they're going to

(17:54):
find a way to win this game as well. What
I will say is that Kansas City is the only
road favorite on Thirdday.

Speaker 1 (18:00):
Road favorites are twenty four and one all time on
Thanksgiving Thursday night.

Speaker 2 (18:06):
What a weird wonder?

Speaker 3 (18:07):
Why straight up not to cover straight up twenty four
and one straight up? Is that because most of those
teams are playing the Lions back in the day, Lions
or you know, a height probably, but road favorites are
twenty four and one straight up on Thanksgiving.

Speaker 2 (18:20):
Is just a little to bit little teaser, a little
bit of data for you there.

Speaker 3 (18:24):
Joe Burr Cincinnati Bangers taking on the Baltimore Ravens in
Baltimore six to twenty kickoff on This was to be
an NBC game. Baltimore favored by seven and a half
at home over under fifty one and a half.

Speaker 2 (18:37):
Another game they're expecting.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
It's a lot of scoring in these games, although I
suspect it will be less scoring than people think.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
I think this is the Thanksgiving bump. Everyone's going to
be having a couple of drinks on Thanksgiving Day. They're
all going to be hammering the over and all the
games are going to go under.

Speaker 2 (18:52):
I'm with it on that.

Speaker 3 (18:53):
Last week, I cleaned up getting all the double digit,
double digit dogs to cover Harlay the double digit dogs.

Speaker 2 (19:00):
Nice, Yeah, it's nice. Yeah on this one.

Speaker 3 (19:04):
I look Cincinnati three and eight, the Joe Burrow thing.
I'm hoping for grant, but I'm not expecting this. Feels
like Baltimore is starting to kind of put it together
this year, although.

Speaker 2 (19:14):
They may need to.

Speaker 3 (19:15):
They may need to, I don't know, pump some new
blood into that thing. It feels like, I mean, Harbo's
been there for twenty years now or something like that. Yeah,
but they have won five games in a row, and
some of those stats on the defensive secondary that Paul
Charcion gave us earlier in the show tonight kind of
made me nervous. But this is the start of a
six game winning streak for the Bengals. Joe Burr, who

(19:36):
day give me the Bengals on Thanksgiving nights?

Speaker 2 (19:38):
All right, I'm with it.

Speaker 3 (19:40):
Speaking of those Bears, they are at Philadelphia on the
Friday game.

Speaker 2 (19:45):
That's right, a rare Friday NFL game.

Speaker 3 (19:47):
It's the only one, right, Yeah, Chicago at Philadelphia. That
is an Amazon Prime game because no Thursday night game
because obviously the Thursday night games are all the Thanksgiving games.

Speaker 1 (20:00):
That's how they worked all that. So Chicago at Philadelphia,
this is going to be a one in the afternoon
kickoff on Black Friday. It's a funky, funky time there, both.

Speaker 2 (20:10):
Teams eight and three. Philly favored by seven at home.

Speaker 1 (20:13):
Under over under forty four and a half, much lower
than the other games here.

Speaker 2 (20:19):
Kind of like that, kind of like.

Speaker 1 (20:21):
The over in that one, the over Chicago. Man, they
just keep finding ways to win. I don't know if
this is gonna be the interesting one though. Ben Johnson
up against Vic Fangie, I'm.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
Here for that. Yeah. That what a great offensive mind
versus defensive mind.

Speaker 3 (20:35):
And that game. What a weird start time. It's a
is that a one o'clock Our time? One pm Mountain
Standard time? Yeah?

Speaker 2 (20:42):
So three o'clock Eastern. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (20:44):
I guess they think you got your Black Friday shopping
done by then. I think the Eagles bounce back in
this game. I would love to see the Bears win
this game. Improve there for real. I don't think they're
quite there yet. I just don't trust the Eagles offense.
That's where I'm at on this one. You know, the
Bears seven, I'm definitely hitting the you know, hitting the
Bears plus seven. It's the old it's the straight up

(21:04):
that I'm I'm like, Okay, I think the Bears can
win this just because I don't think the Eagles have
the offense.

Speaker 2 (21:08):
I do like the Bears to cover, but I think
the Eagles find a way to win.

Speaker 4 (21:11):
With you on that.

Speaker 3 (21:12):
On to the Sunday games early slate, the Los Angeles
Rams taking on the Carolina Panthers.

Speaker 1 (21:21):
Ten and a half ten and a half Rams ten
and a half road favorites on Carolina.

Speaker 2 (21:28):
The way they've been playing, I guess I kind of
see it.

Speaker 3 (21:31):
Man.

Speaker 1 (21:31):
It's it has certainly been a fascinating run for Los Angeles. Stafford,
it's just playing out of his mind right now.

Speaker 3 (21:39):
Twenty five touchdown, zero interceptions in this last eight games.

Speaker 2 (21:42):
It's just it's insane.

Speaker 1 (21:43):
Over under forty five in this one, so they're not
expecting Carolina to hold up.

Speaker 2 (21:47):
Much on the score. Again, I kind of like Carolina
in this game.

Speaker 3 (21:51):
I think this is one of those games where you're
like Rams starting to feel themselves clearly like a lot
of people have them gone in the East Coast early
game eight am start for the local time in California.
I kind of like the Panthers that they look so
bad the other night against the forty nine. They're jekyling
hide though they look still look great one week and

(22:12):
then just absolutely terrible the next time. I think this
is a big Rico Dawdle game. I like the Panthers
to keep this close. I still think the Rams find
a way to win it.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
I'm with you. I'm with you on that one.

Speaker 3 (22:22):
Okay, we got Arizona at Tampa. Uh three and eight
arizonagainst six and five Tampa. Tampa's favored by two and
a half at home over under forty three and a half.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
I love Arizona in this one with Tampa with all
the injuries. Baker may not even play in this. It
might be Teddy two.

Speaker 3 (22:37):
Gloves if Tampa was at full strength, to probably take
a Tampa at home. But I love Arizona in this
game against Tampa. You know they need they need the
Arizona needs this game right now for a number of reasons.

Speaker 2 (22:49):
And and I just like it in this game. Is
Marvin Harrison back in this game? Not sure? And does
it even matter if Michael Wilson is so darn good?

Speaker 1 (22:58):
I mean, he's been playing well him the Jacoby Brissett
certainly found a magic together at that connection.

Speaker 2 (23:04):
I kind of agree with you on this one.

Speaker 3 (23:05):
I was really high on Tampa Bay earlier this year,
but those injuries seem to have caught up with him,
especially if Baker is not one hundred percent.

Speaker 2 (23:13):
I think the Cardinals are going to win this game.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
I'm yeah, they're uh, you know, they're getting two and
a half. Doesn't feel like it's gonna be a high
scoring game in that one either. Put fascinating stuff to watch.
Atlanta and Kirk Cousins traveling to New York to take
on the Jets in the battle of who could care less?
Arizona two point five point road favorite the over under
a poultry frosty thirty nine and a half as they

(23:38):
are expecting no scoring out of this game.

Speaker 2 (23:41):
I like the Falcons to win and who cares about
the Jets?

Speaker 3 (23:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (23:45):
And Tyrod Taylor going to be the starter. I don't know.
This isn't even the lowest over under of the EYEO week.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
By the way, I will say this about Kirk Cousins man,
he had took a step back in time last week.
He hit a couple of throws that were really impressive.
I hope he goes on the and wins this game
in primetime game. I expect Kirk o to be all right.
I think he's gonna win this game and he's gonna
bring out the chains on the flight back home.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
Kirk Cousin is the Andy Dalton of Kirk Cousins with
regard to prime times.

Speaker 4 (24:11):
Oh it makes it.

Speaker 2 (24:12):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (24:13):
New Orleans Saints taking on the Miami Dolphins and another
or in the early slate. Thank god, we've got the
at Los Angeles game as a palate cleanser. Miami a
five and a half point home favored over under forty
one and a half.

Speaker 2 (24:25):
Neither of these two teams is good.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
Miami has found ways to dig themselves out of late
I'm gonna go with Miami at home.

Speaker 3 (24:31):
Yeah. I think Miami is gonna win this game as well.
I wonder if Mike McDaniel is going to do enough
the rest of this year that everyone's just like, Okay,
let's let's see if he can build it back up
after this horrible year. This year we got rid of
the GM maybe a new face dealing with him as.

Speaker 2 (24:47):
A head coach.

Speaker 3 (24:48):
Tua kind of figures it out and quit saying dumb
stuff every week to the media.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
I think they got one more year together in Miami.
You know, he's a crazy genius. They've called him a
daft punk. Maybe one more time, is uh one? Yeah?
I tried to cram it in there. I don't know
these references or work at this point.

Speaker 3 (25:05):
The crown jewel of the early s late Houston taking
on Indianapolis, India four point favorite at home over under
forty four and a half.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
Love Houston on the road here, I do too.

Speaker 3 (25:14):
I saw Daniel Jones pop up on the injury exports questionable.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
Is that a real legitimate injury?

Speaker 3 (25:20):
Okay, yeah, so I was kind of leaning towards the
Texans before that. Anyway, this freaking division is getting interesting.

Speaker 2 (25:27):
Well outside of Tennessee, yes.

Speaker 3 (25:29):
Yeah, but I mean you got the Colts who looked
like they were going to run away with it.

Speaker 2 (25:32):
They're now at eight and three.

Speaker 3 (25:33):
You've got the Jaguars at seven and four, who have
two games left against the Colts and the Texans all
of a sudden getting hot at six and five and
maybe getting CJ. Stroudback. This is gonna come down to
the wire. I think the Texans win this game. I
love it when bad divisions are clustered at the top too,
It's a lot of fun. Speaking of Jacksonville and Tennessee,
they're taking on each other. Jacksonville six and a half
point road favorite at one in ten Tennessee over under

(25:56):
forty two. Love the Jags in this one, I mean,
just do yeah, yeah, I mean Tennessee. They're putting forth
a good effort. That is about all I can say
for them in the last couple of games. I think
the Jags easily cover this game. Yeah, Tennessee, they get
the at least you tried.

Speaker 2 (26:14):
Mug right doesn't do much for you in the NFL,
really doesn't.

Speaker 3 (26:18):
San Francisco taking on the Cleveland Browns and what figures
to be the stinker of the week. The Niners are
five point favorites on the road at Cleveland. The over
hunder is thirty six and a half. The under this
one thirty six.

Speaker 2 (26:31):
And a half. That is embarrassingly low.

Speaker 3 (26:35):
Yeah, I think I think Chador is gonna get his
true welcome to the NFL moment this week. You know,
he kind of had it when he had to come
in off the bench for Dylan Gabriel. He must be
decent against the Raiders. Have you seen all these theories
that Stefanski was, you know, was trying to sabotage him
in the Raiders game, and then he deliberately left him
in as the starter for this one so that the
Niners can whoop up on him and then he can
go back to Dylan Gabriel.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
I would not put it past Stefanski at this point.

Speaker 3 (26:58):
He seems to hate Shador's if you don't give the
dude a game ball after his first win, the first
winning rookie quarterback for the Browns and their debut since
nineteen ninety five, like he's got He's definitely got a
grudge against Shudor Sanders, and I think he's gonna be
proven right in this game, because I think it's gonna
get ugly with the Niners winning.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
West Brown's quarterback to winning their rookie start was Eric Zaire,
his head coach Bill Belichick.

Speaker 3 (27:23):
Oh my gosh, Minnesota to take it on Seattle to
Seahawks eleven and a half point favorites over the Max
brosmer Helms Minnesota Vikings over under a paltry forty one.
I Seahawks should win this win the questions whether or
not they cover. Yeah, I think they win and I
think they cover. I mean, the Seahawks are legit. I
don't think Sam Darnold's gonna throw four interceptions this game,

(27:44):
but you never know. But their defense is stout. I
like the Seahawks to run away with this one quickly.
The Vegas Raiders taking on the Chargers. The Chargers ten
point home favorites over under forty one. Love the Chargers,
Love the Chargers to win, Love the Chargers to cover. Yeah,
And from the story you were telling me about Chip
Kelly off there from Tom Pellisaro, I mean, my god,

(28:05):
what a cluster it is in Las Vegas.

Speaker 2 (28:07):
I like the Chargers to win by two touchdowns. There
you go.

Speaker 1 (28:10):
Buffalo at Pittsburgh, Buffalo three and a half point road favorites.
Love the Bills to get back on track against the Steelers,
who have been plucky this year.

Speaker 3 (28:17):
Aaron Rodgers playing in this one. I don't know, it's
not gonna matter. Yeah, Bills win.

Speaker 2 (28:23):
Let's see what else we got here?

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Monday Night football, New York Giants taking on the New
England Patriots. The Patriots seven and a half point home favorites.
I love the Patriots to beat the Giants in this one.

Speaker 2 (28:33):
I don't know, man, I don't know. If Jamis starts,
I'm going with the Giants.

Speaker 3 (28:38):
If Dark starts, I think he gets knocked out with
another concussion and the Patriots win.

Speaker 2 (28:43):
I'm riding the Jamis train. Man supposed to be Dark. Dang.

Speaker 3 (28:47):
Yeah, Patriots win, all right, Tim. And of course the
Denver Broncos taken on the Washington Commanders. Broncos five and
a half point road favorites over under a forty three
three and a half.

Speaker 2 (29:01):
I love Denver to win. Not sure about the cover
on this.

Speaker 1 (29:05):
I feel like that this is you know, you might
get a back door Washington cover here, but I think
that the Denver Broncos should win.

Speaker 2 (29:11):
With Marcus Mariot at the helm.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
Yeah, I don't think they're going to get a backdoor
cover either. I think Mariota has been bad. I mean,
I just think about that game against the Dolphins Overseas
a couple of weeks ago, and how nobody wanted to
win that game. I think the Broncos win, and I
think the Broncos win big. I think the vibes are
high and the Broncos locker room got a couple their
dudes paid this week coming off the bye week, coming

(29:34):
off the bye week well rested, had the biggest win
in Broncos probably what last ten years with that win
against the Chiefs.

Speaker 2 (29:42):
I like the Broncos to win big. I like the
offense to put up some points in this game.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
I'm going Broncos thirty one, Commanders fourteen.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
Wow. Well, I do think the Broncos is going to
win on the pick them for.

Speaker 1 (29:55):
Anthony Rod for all the listeners, I am going to
take the Commanders ninety nine to four, as you should,
just to streak a streak reverse chink streak alive.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
Yes, I mean if you if you picked the Broncos
in this game and then they lost to the Commander,
I would never I could run a town. Everyone would
hate you even more.

Speaker 1 (30:12):
People would have a problem if you of that don't
would pick up their tiki torches just saying I could
run out of here like Frankenstein's Monster. They better watch
out for Murph, Yeah, they better watch.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
Out for Murphy. He's a vicious taking a nap. He
doesn't care. He does not care.

Speaker 3 (30:29):
