guys healthy. And that's hard to say because this still

of who stays healthy, who doesn't get rolled up on
or whatever else maybe the case with those kinds of things.

Patrick Mahomes, you still got Gardner Minshew that you're facing
on Thursday on Christmas, right, So managing that and trying
to get through those two games, knowing as though you
got the charges after that. That's very vital to the
Broncos' success moving forward.

ability and the time that he's spent with the team

but piscle him in as being the starter for the
Chiefs rolling into twenty twenty six.

I think this is basically an audition for Gardner Minshew

as you wonder if if the same guys are gonna
be out there trying to play in a meaningless game

but I probably I'm probably resting some guys and maybe

we got some younger guys. I'd like to see what
they could do in this one, and we'll run with them.

want to see if they are in the cards in

So in order for Denver to clinch the AFC West

round by home field advantage, right, Denver has to win win.

New England has to lose. Okay, Buffalo has to lose
or tie. Now, Buffalo is playing the Browns, so that

seem incredibly likely either. The Jags are obviously playing US.
That feels like it's gonna be a tough game, but
I think the Broncos can win it.

And then the Chargers are playing the Dallas Cowboys, which
also does not necessarily.

but also you tie this into a grant what's their
level of playoff experience? Because if you got a group
of veteran guys and they've never been in the playoffs,

There is a postseason game blooming and yeah, I mean
wins aren't important here. They're not gonna win. And the
NFL is trying to maintain a firewall between late season
meaningless games and the offseason draft. But the reality is

there are teams a tank. There are teams of soft tank.
There's almost soft tanking right now. I mean, at the
end of the day, you can't stop teams from doing it,
and do you really even want to stop teams?

But this is why the NFL decided to put a
lot of those important divisional games on the back end
of the schedule, and the thing that changes that when
you experienced certain injuries to your offensive defense, you have

of thinking about resting players, but you just have to
continue to go out.

proverbially speaking, secure the bag, right if you keep your
guys healthy. And that's hard to say because this still
is the NFL.

against the Packers on Sunday and we're talking about a
number of players. Marvin moms who's having his stinger and
showed the injury. Justice Sernard had the ankle, Brandon Jones
he has the pack he's out rj the rib injury.
And still don't know if you would play on Sunday

and then on a short week, albeit it's not against
Patrick Mahomes, you still got Gardner Minshew that you're facing
on Thursday on Christmas, right, So managing that and trying
to get through those two games, knowing as though you
got the charges after that. That's very vital to the
Broncos' success moving forward.

And we've seen it happen before. We watched it happen in.

The game against the Green Bay Package on Sunday. You
lose a marquee guy. That changes the trajectory of everything
you can do offensively, defensively, as far as play calling,

Whatever you have to do to make sure that the
Broncos the lady luck on their side. I see back

I know. Mahomes said that he's looking to beat those.

Odds, so we all are. But it's everybody's looking to
beat the odds on whatever that is.

But now, once again, this is why I'm thinking, I
don't have the pack on the package. But the Chiefs
winning on on Thursday night on Christmas. But this gives
Gardner Minshew an opportunity to really kind of showcase his
ability and the time that he's spent with the team
and how well that's paid off because he now has

an opportunity he plays well, now they can pistle him in,
you know, and I just saying put in a pen,
but piscle him in as being the starter for the
Chiefs rolling into twenty twenty six.

I think this is basically an audition for Gardner Minshew
to to be, you know, kind of that guy and
come back and be the bridge for he needs to
play well. He needs to play well. That's gonna be

as you wonder if if the same guys are gonna
be out there trying to play in a meaningless game
on Christmas on a short week in Kansas City. So

roster and seeing some guys that normally wouldn't get stars,

sat everybody against the Broncos the end of last year,
but I probably I'm probably resting some guys and maybe

some of the you know, some of those veterans and
all that kind of stuff, and coming back with Okay,
we got some younger guys. I'd like to see what
they could do in this one, and we'll run with them.
You know, two or three four guys that you really
want to see if they are in the cards in
the future for your team.

I think if things work out the way I'm hoping
that they work out on Sunday, the Broncos get the
dub you look at the Chargers and other teams that

So in order for Denver to clinch the AFC West
Division title and the AFC number one seed loan first
round by home field advantage, right, Denver has to win win.

The Chargers have to either lose or tie.

Let's go lose.

New England has to lose. Okay, Buffalo has to lose
or tie. Now, Buffalo is playing the Browns, so that

That feels like it's gonna be a tough game, but
I think the Broncos can win it.
