Since 2004, Brian F. Hughes has served as President and CEO of Rochester-based HRCU, a community credit union that has been serving members who live and
work in New Hampshire and southern Maine since 1962. Under his leadership,
HRCU has experienced significant growth, with assets now exceeding $450 million and membership surpassing 24,000.
Brian is deeply passionate about community involvement and has served on numerous community-related boards. He currently serves as Treasurer of the Greater Rochester Community Health Foundation, Chairman of the NH Credit
Union Social Responsibility Committee, and is a Paul Harris Fellow with the Rochester Rotary.
His past board experience includes serving as Chairman of the Board at Frisbie Memorial Hospital and the Greater Rochester Chamber of Commerce. He was also a board member and Treasurer of the Frisbie Hospital Foundation, the Rochester Opera House, the Rochester Country Club, and the Cooperative Credit Union Association. Additionally, he chaired the Economic Development Committee for Rochester Main Street.
Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Science in Organizational Development from Bridgewater State University.
Originally from Massachusetts, he now resides in Greenland, New Hampshire.
