I will continue to further Events DC’s initiatives such as our 9th Street retail project, booking events at the ESA in Ward 8, and importantly, supporting our customers and partners who rely on us every day at the Convention Center.” Gates succeeds Samuel R. Thomas, Chief Operating Officer, who served as interim president and CEO following the resignation of Gregory A. O’Dell in March 2022. “We are grateful for Samuel’s leadership as interim president and CEO for the last five months, and for his commitment to the organization throughout his time as Chief Operating Officer,” said Events DC Board Member Jay Haddock-Ortiz. “Under the leadership of Angie, Samuel, the entire executive team and our board members, I am confident that Events DC will continue to flourish.”

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Raft M and T Bank presents CEOs. You should know
power Invite, iHeart hat. Let's meet Angie Gates.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
She is a president and CEO for Events DC, the
premier host of conventions, entertainment, sporting, and cultural events in
the nation's capital. Before we talk more about all the
incredible things that are happening within Washington, DC.

Speaker 1 (00:19):
Thanks for the hard work from Angie and her team.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
I first asked her to talk a little bit about herself,
where she's from and her origin story.

Speaker 3 (00:26):
I consider myself a Southern vale.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
I am from New Orleans by way of Gulf Court, Mississippi,
so that ITN Corridor is where I got my roots.
Often say I was reared along the dirt roads of
Mississippi and the Bayous of Louisiana, but that is home
for me. That is where my foundation started. I came

(00:52):
from a family of matriarch's grandmother mother, a dad who
was a musician an artist promoter. I think I heard
my first concert when my mom was pregnant with me
traveling with my dad to a variety of concerts. But
I am truly honored just to have that foundation, that

(01:17):
Southern foundation, being here in Washington DC. Often people will say, oh,
I have family in the South, and I'm like where,
and they're like North Carolina, South Carolina.

Speaker 3 (01:26):
I'm like, oh, go a little bit further for me.

Speaker 4 (01:29):
But I went to college at the University of New Orleans.
That's where I received my undergraduate my bachelor's in Liberal Arts.
I specialized in communication and film. I also received my
masters from the University of New Orleans and specialized in
arts administration and sports management. With that being said, I

(01:51):
haven't jumped from job to job.

Speaker 3 (01:54):
I've had a career.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
My first internship, I thought I was going to be
in news report order until I had to have a
deadline every single day. But the communications degree and marketing
degree paid off. I was at the historic Singer Theater
in New Orleans and then went on. People would pull
up with their tour buses and I'm like, gosh.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Good catering, good food. I need to go on tour.
And so I went on tour.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
I worked with Matthew Knowles, Bishop td Jakes Broadway shows
like Barbie Love in Ferrytopia.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
But once the concerts and tours in.

Speaker 4 (02:30):
The job ends and I was totally freaking out and
it was an opportunity to come to Washington, d C.
And I joined the Warner Theater here in Washington, d C.
And went on to become the first African American general
manager in Washington, d C. And then I made my

(02:52):
way from entertainment to politics. And I guess it's a
thin line between entertainment and politics.

Speaker 1 (02:57):
Yes it is, Yes it is.

Speaker 4 (03:01):
I remember going, Oh, I'm an entertainment I can do politics.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
It's not an issue.

Speaker 4 (03:07):
And then I realized, like, at least when it's encore,
the show is over, it's over, and politics is never over.
It's twenty four seven. But I had the distinct honor
and pleasure to work with Mayor Muriel Bowser as her
traveling chief of staff. Was able to step in and
assist with the transition of government as her director of Operations,

(03:31):
and I used my creative skills and was able to
executive produce her inaugural balls.

Speaker 3 (03:38):
And so that's my trajectory, and was fortunate enough.

Speaker 4 (03:44):
To join her cabinet as the Director of the Office
of Cable, Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment.

Speaker 2 (03:49):
Well, thank you for sharing all of that, and we
have a lot to talk about, and obviously we're here
to talk about you being president and CEO for just
a little bit over two and a half years at
Events DC. And there's so much to talk about because
there's a lot going on if you're a sports fan, music,
entertainment and what DC and your team and everybody you
work with. Andy, it's really incredible what's happening, because there's
been a boom of great news coming up that I

(04:10):
know you want to share. Maybe you could tease a
couple of things, and I only know you're always looking
down the road too, because that's what you have to
do when it comes to what you and your team do.
But I think it's a great segue here and talk
about that incredible resume and diversified things of what you
did with entertainment and politics because I think they both
kind of run into what you do now and I

(04:31):
think and all that experience that you have.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
So I'd like to do this first.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
I think it's really key to give context to the
resume and all the work, the body of work that
you put together, the cool things that you've done, and
joining Events DC. So I can see it's very clear
why they were interested in you. Why were you interested
in joining them?

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Oh, thank you for that question.

Speaker 4 (04:55):
You know, As a woman of faith, I am firmly
of the belief that I am living in my purpose
and the opportunity to be at Events DC was not
only an opportunity for me to elevate my career, but
it was also an opportunity to show results and work
with elevating a wonderful city, a wonderful city and the

(05:19):
people who live in it.

Speaker 3 (05:20):
And so it was perfect.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
It touched on sports, entertainment, film, music, all of it
across the board, creative services, conventions, meetings. It allowed me
to take all my years of experience and not only
continue to put it to work, but also use that
as an opportunity to showcase Washington, DC as a world

(05:44):
class city. And so I have been very excited and
very busy since I've been here at.

Speaker 3 (05:53):
Events d C.

Speaker 4 (05:54):
But EVNCC, as you know, is the official convention in
Sports authority and at Events DC, we are committed to
make sure our events not only entertain but employ serve
as an economic engine and elevate everyone. And so it's
those key points that also allowed me the opportunity to

(06:18):
fulfill and elevate my career but really make a difference
in not only my life but in the life of others.

Speaker 2 (06:25):
And I know that's a little bit of your mission
and your vision. But let me ask you this because
I know a lot of people here Events DC, but
I think, like a lot of people that if you
really don't know what's going on, it really is incredible
because you touched so many things that you had talked about.
But if you were to give a thirty thousand foot
VIEWNG and tell somebody new to Events DC and what

(06:45):
you do, what would you tell them that you actually do?

Speaker 3 (06:48):
I would say a few things.

Speaker 4 (06:50):
One event CC is the official Convention of Sports Authority.
We manage eleven venues, including the RFK Campus Care First Areena.
Our focus is to make sure that we take world
class events in order to attract millions of visitors and
also make sure that those visitors are.

Speaker 3 (07:11):
Staying in our hotel.

Speaker 4 (07:12):
Rooms, elevating our restaurants and keeping them busy, but also
have an economic impact here in Washington, d C. We
also a focused on creating jobs, which is a key
component and without anything else, our community across all eight
wards of Washington DC is being invested in not only

(07:34):
from Grant's perspective, also from a creative perspective.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
And our motto here.

Speaker 4 (07:40):
Also at events DC is go global, but stay local.

Speaker 1 (07:45):
I love that. Okay.

Speaker 2 (07:46):
So I'm a sports fan, have been for a long time.
It's been just a part of my life and my
fabric and my family. So if you indulge me, I
want to start with sports first because I'm excited. I'm
a DC resident, as you know. I live in northwest
DC in a lot of Caps and Wizards and mystics games.
I go to concerts at Capital One and I love
the area there. When I found out that Monumental Sports

(08:08):
in the Leonson's family was going to stay at Gallery
Place and the big changeover that is happening now over
the next three years, and the renderings are gorgeous. And
I know you've seen a lot more than I've seen,
but it really and it's underway, two folks, And then
we're also want to talk about the RFKS I too.
Now I understand that Meror Bowser and the councils still
have to vote on things, but the wheels are going

(08:29):
in the right direction for the commanders to be in
the site. So I want to talk about those two things.
But let's talk about the Capital One arena. What's going
to happen to Gallery Place because it's going to be
a metamorphosis. And what I've seen so far, Angie, it
looks incredible. But you and your team must be stoked.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
We are super super excited.

Speaker 4 (08:47):
I mean, Washington, DC is the only place Monumental can
maintain and keep their footing. We have the best fans,
including yourself, right here in Washington in DC. And so
one of the things that I want to share is
I actually was on the committee the Gallery Place in

(09:08):
Chinatown task Force group, and so we spend a lot
of time focused on the Gallery Place Chinatown area. In
addition to being there, it was how do we take
that area and not only elevated for sports fans, but
elevated for the businesses. Also make it an obtainable, accessible,

(09:31):
safe area to come and stay in play. So not
only from a hotel perspective, but when you go to
a game, a lot of activities that are going to
be taking place pregames over at Capital One Arena, entertainment
that's going to take place throughout the summer, and it's
more than just a sports venue. It's concerts, especial events.

Speaker 3 (09:53):
And so we wanted to.

Speaker 4 (09:54):
Make sure that we had first class, world class amenities
you can't get anywhere else, and bringing that to downtown
d C was crucial and so important.

Speaker 3 (10:09):
So we are like over the moon.

Speaker 4 (10:11):
And not only that, you know what DC stands well, right,
District of champions That is what DC stands for, District
of Champions.

Speaker 3 (10:20):
And to be able to.

Speaker 4 (10:22):
Keep our championship team right here in Washington d C
was very important to us at EVINSDC, important to the
city and the council.

Speaker 2 (10:32):
I've learned a lot over my twenty five thirty years
being in sports television radio about economic development when stadiums
or arenas are built, and it's really extraordinary and it's amazing
folks goes behind the scenes, and Angie and I could
talk for hours about economic development and all that it
takes to do that.

Speaker 1 (10:48):
I don't know if you have projections.

Speaker 2 (10:50):
I don't know if there's money attached to it about
what it'll look like after everything has done, about the
influx of people that will come in and money spend.
But if you could just give us a tip of
the iceberg when you look at transportation, hotels, the airlines,
and then all the restaurants, and then there's people hanging
around spending their money. Andy, It's an incredible amount of
money that comes in. So having monumental stay there with

(11:12):
the sports and the concert and everything else, it means
so much money coming into the district, doesn't it.

Speaker 4 (11:17):
Oh absolutely, I'll just share like some figures with you.
And in addition to Capitol One Arena.

Speaker 3 (11:23):
Which is just a few blocks away from the.

Speaker 4 (11:24):
Convention Center, we compliment that space here at the Wall
Cree Washington Convention Center with the events that we have here,
not only conventions and meetings, but we know some major
sporting events here.

Speaker 3 (11:38):
We had one of.

Speaker 4 (11:39):
The biggest volleyball tournaments right here in the Convention Center.
But I'll share with you for example, in twenty twenty four,
we had over twenty one million visitors coming through here
in Washington, DC.

Speaker 3 (11:58):
That brought in about.

Speaker 4 (12:00):
Eleven point four billion in spending over the course of
twenty twenty four. And just not only sports, but when
you talk about the restaurants, you talk about the engagement
of the transportation, of the induced return on investment also,
and I think you would have a true appreciation and

(12:20):
agree with me Dennis on this sports is a family
friendly event, So you're not just talking about adults attending
sports game. When you look at the landscape of the
audience when you're in these Capital one arena at the
soccer fields at AUDI, you see the little ones, our

(12:40):
little residents, our little sports fans, our kids, our youth,
our grandparents. You know that's they're participating. And so I
think that is one of the things that's key. One
of the other things I just want to make sure
that I highlight. Recently, there was legislation passed about Washington,
DC being the sports capital.

Speaker 3 (12:59):
We are indeed the sports capital.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
So mayor bows are the Council Events DC coming together
and doing what's necessary to invest in these sports only
solidifieds the need that monumental had to stay here and
we are truly the sports capital. I would be remissed
if I didn't talk about Campus Arena, which is one
of our eleven venues, which is where the Championship Mystics play.

Speaker 3 (13:24):
That's their home arena.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
Well, that's great, thanks for sharing all that, and let's
talk a little bit. I know we can only talk
about so much. As I prefaced, there's still work to
be done when it comes to the RFK site the commanders,
but things are going in the right direction. But Mayor Bowser,
who you know intimately has worked really hard in this,
and kudos to her and her team, obviously Josh Harris,
the Commanders, and then you know Washington d C. If

(13:48):
it does happen. I know we have some hypotheticals here.
One of my first games I ever saw as a
young person who grew up in Falls Church was a
Redskins game at the old RFK with the seats bounce
and everything, and it was magical, and I think there's
a lot of nostalgia behind that. But now as you
look at the possible renderings and what it could be,
we're talking about possible Super Bowls, we're talking about major,

(14:12):
big concerts. Of course the football game themselves, but all
the things that you can do. So it's just not
a stadium in a facility that's going to be used
eight or nine times during the year, folks. It's going
to be one that's going to be used year round.
And on top of that, there's going to be all
things connected to it. I mean, there's a lot of
land there, so beside affordable housing, maybe some parks and

(14:32):
restaurants and cool places to hang out, it's going to
be extraordinary and with the landscape behind it, folks, if
it happens, is going to be incredible. So you can
hear in my voice, Andreie that I'm stoked and excited
about it. What's happening right now with it? I know
we're waiting on some things, but how is your involvement
in the site? What do you touch and what do
you not touch?

Speaker 4 (14:51):
Oh my gosh, I touch every aspect possible that I can.
The RFK campuses arelready in our portfolio, and so we
have been engaged in this process. I do want to
commend the mayor on her hard work, dedication, and her
efforts to really get that Hell. You know, we just

(15:16):
recently had a meeting with the DC Chamber of Commerce
and all the businesses here in Washington, d C. And
I jokingly referred to the mayor being a good quarterback
throwing a hail Mary.

Speaker 1 (15:29):
Yes, we've had one of those. We've had one of those.

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Everybody are yes? That got us where we are today?

Speaker 4 (15:36):
And then of course we do have It's like we're
at that right at the two yard mark, try to
make that Touchdale.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
And I think.

Speaker 4 (15:48):
That what's been so crucial here for us is that
the development of that site is over one hundred and
seventy acres that's not developed. That is the opportunity to
have a true economic engine driver with not only a stadium.
It's the job creations that can be there. It's the
hotel development, it's the resident and community engagement development that

(16:15):
can take place, even activating those spaces along the river.
So it's not just the site of a stadium. It
is a complete, full development. And one of the things
that we know for sure when we look at the
economic advancement of Washington d C, sure bet is the
NFL Yes, and the NFL is one of the least

(16:38):
risks in order for us to put our shovel in
the ground to bring about some of the most I
think it's the largest private sector investment here.

Speaker 3 (16:48):
In Washington, d C.

Speaker 4 (16:49):
In the history, and I think that is what we
have to focus on. Is also legacy and legend building
for generations to come.

Speaker 3 (17:00):
And so for us, we want to get back.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
To the day where the stands rocked, the fans roared,
because that legacy is what we're focused on today. And
I know as a as a former attendee of.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
That stadium, you know about those sands rocket.

Speaker 1 (17:18):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (17:18):
Yeah, the fans roared. I think that is that is key.
But we've come on as parking partners at Events d C.

Speaker 4 (17:27):
We are doing an investment of one hundred and eighty
one million towards the parking infrastructure, and that's one of
the things that we look at the landscape of the
community surrounding that's going to be, you know, one of
the things that we've heard from from constituents.

Speaker 3 (17:44):
So we want to make sure the amenities.

Speaker 4 (17:46):
Are there and we're prepared and ready to go if
everything moves forward, you know, as as planned.

Speaker 2 (17:53):
And I don't know if there have been any financial
projections once the stadium is built and all the infrastructure
around it, but I'd like to get peace below perspective.
I saw some figures recently from just the Super Bowl
folks in New Orleans this past year. One point three
billion dollars just Super Bowl week for Pete's sake. So
you can imagine with all the events, I mean, imagine

(18:14):
a WWE event coming to the new stadium. In the
football games and mega concerts and shows, I mean, it's
just endless. So I imagine that when we start looking
at projections and you talk with the Mayor's office and
Economic development people that it really is. It can be
some incredible money that could be coming in annually, and
that really beside the entertainment factor, all that influx of

(18:37):
money coming back into DC is truly remarkable stuff that
we haven't seen ever. It's like big stuff, isn't it now?

Speaker 3 (18:45):
Oh? Absolutely absolutely.

Speaker 4 (18:47):
I mean you're talking about a quick return on investment
that you would see from this from this stadium.

Speaker 3 (18:55):
I mean, just it can in it. Of course, it
will fluctuate.

Speaker 4 (18:59):
Everybody wants the nice, new, shiny venue. That's just that's
us as a human nature. But right now, to be
able to host something like WrestleMania, we need a space.
And I just recently visited at WrestleMania at Allegiance Stadium

(19:19):
in Vegas. That's not to mention the housing availability and opportunity.
That's not factoring in the results of our small and
local businesses being able to get you elevated and off
the ground in that surrounded entertainment complex area. But also too,

(19:39):
people don't just come for a game and leave. They
tailgates that they patronize all the businesses that's surrounding a
complex like a stadium, and so super Bowl. We got
the NFL Draft. You know what's next the super Bowl?
We have a stadium. It is inevitable. And so going

(20:01):
back to being the sports capital, that is not only
something that we would be talking about locally, but this
is something that.

Speaker 3 (20:10):
Is being seen nationally and internationally.

Speaker 4 (20:13):
This would be an opportunity to bring international friendly games
to a stadium, not just football. I guess we can
say what's referred to football.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Internationally we call it soccer. In other places it's called football.

Speaker 4 (20:30):
But this allows us a footprint and a land use
opportunity for those type of events as well.

Speaker 3 (20:38):
And of course there's always other special events.

Speaker 4 (20:40):
So this is the safest surest economic driver that we
can invest in, and that's here and now. This is
the once in a lifetime opportunity, and we can't have
anyone intercept the.

Speaker 3 (20:56):
Ball on it.

Speaker 1 (20:57):
Agreed.

Speaker 2 (20:58):
Good does sports vernaculars too. I love it, Angie, Thank
you so much for that one last sports thing. And
you've already mentioned it, but I think it's huge because
if anybody saw Green Bay, if you've seen Vegas, you've
seen New York, Chicago. The NFL Draft now smartly has
been moving around from city to city and folks were
talking about hundreds of thousands of people showing up daily

(21:18):
for the three day event the Thursday through the Saturday.
Green Bay, for Pete's sakes, had over a million people
at it. I mean, it was just a scene and
the NFL has elevated itself as this incredible year round
entertainment thing as we all know. And if you haven't
seen renderings of it, and Angie you correct me if
I'm wrong. It's going to be in the mall somewhere
and it was staging and everything.

Speaker 1 (21:39):
But how did it all come about?

Speaker 2 (21:41):
And you must be excited and it's coming in a
couple of years, right, Yes, yes we have.

Speaker 4 (21:47):
Washington DC has been awarded the NFL Draft for twenty
twenty seven and it didn't happen overnight. I have to
start by thanking the Events DC team is. It's something
that we focused on weekly night day, early morning, late

(22:08):
night weekends for over two and a half years.

Speaker 3 (22:14):
And with that being.

Speaker 4 (22:15):
Said, it required consistency and not taking our lens off
the focus of the prize that was at hand. We
knew that we were capable here in the District of
Columbia host large events. We do it all the time,
we knew that we could execute large events and execute
them in a safe way. We knew that we were

(22:37):
a city that needed to be the city of choice,
the destination of choice, and once again we are the
sports capital. And so it took a lot of hard work, dedication,
It took a lot of time, but in the end
to have the NFL Draft come here in that Washington,
DC is the global stage to showcase the new that's

(23:01):
going to be across America on these various football fields
are key and a good success.

Speaker 3 (23:09):
Now with that being said, I do my.

Speaker 4 (23:12):
Research and I don't like to go by here say
I like to have.

Speaker 3 (23:15):
My boots on the ground.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
So I was in Green Bay looking to see what
that draft was like and to see what are some
of the additional elements that we can have. You know,
not only when people come to DC for something like
an NFL track, We have so much more to offer.
We have so many free museums we have so the

(23:37):
accessibility through Metro.

Speaker 3 (23:40):
Is a great opportunity.

Speaker 4 (23:42):
Also, you can bring your entire family, and we have
other things that can be offered compared to other cities.

Speaker 3 (23:50):
But the results that we're.

Speaker 4 (23:52):
Going to see with our hotel rooms and the restaurants
is going to soar through the roof. And I am
super cited about about the draft, and we're going to
be talking about it, but there's going to be pre
draft activities that we're going to be doing along the way,
so we don't have to wait for twenty twenty seven.
We're already starting to celebrate. We're already starting to do

(24:14):
activities and initiatives leading up.

Speaker 3 (24:17):
To it, and it's a lot happening.

Speaker 4 (24:18):
You know. We're also in twenty twenty six celebrating the
two hundred and fiftieth anniversary.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
You know, for America.

Speaker 4 (24:25):
So these are things that we're teeing up and you know,
it's football is truly the American sport here, so there's
so many ties and highlights.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
But you're talking.

Speaker 4 (24:36):
About an event that is going to that's going.

Speaker 3 (24:40):
To bring in over a million visitors.

Speaker 4 (24:43):
You're talking about an economic impact that's you know, over
fourth of a billion dollars and the job. So it's
it's exciting times. It's exciting times, and we're going to
also use this as an opportunity to capture some really
good content. You know, I'm a two time Emmy Award
winning executive producer where you can keep long term shelf

(25:06):
life is telling a story of how.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
We got here.

Speaker 1 (25:08):
I love it. I got my sports fix. Everybody I know.

Speaker 2 (25:11):
We talked a lot of sports today, but it really
is incredible stuff that's happening. A lot of money's coming
into DC, so that's great. You mentioned the eleven venues, Angie,
and there's so many different events that are coming to DC.
I want to give you the opportunity to maybe talk
about a couple things that either are coming up or
that you're working on, or that you're excited about. So
the floor is yours, and then I'll get some final thoughts.

(25:31):
Will give the website everybody. The events calendar is on
the website. It's really cool. It's easy to navigate. There's
a ton of information on there when it comes to
Events DC. But when it comes to the venues or
things that are coming up, Angie, that you're excited about
or working on, what's happening.

Speaker 4 (25:44):
Oh, so, thank you so much for that question. It's
never a dull moment at Events DC. So what I
encourage everyone to do is to make sure you stay
connected with us. EVENTSDC dot com is our web site.
Please stay connected with us on LinkedIn. Please stay connected
with us on social There is always something happening at

(26:09):
Events DC, and so you know, it's funny. In my
entire career, not one single day has been the same.
And at Events DC, we're super excited about our offerings
and we are also excited about just other international opportunities
that's coming up.

Speaker 3 (26:26):
But you got to stay connected with us.

Speaker 4 (26:28):
We move and we move fast, so if you don't
join us, you'll miss it. Well.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
I really appreciate our conversation. You and I could talk
for several hours about all the amazing things that you
and your team are doing. But as a DC resident
and somebody who's lived here now four different times, I'm
so happy because I feel as a resident but also
as a fan of sports and entertainment that there's now
a revitalization happening right in front of us right now

(26:53):
with monumental staying, with the possibility of the Commanders building
this incredible stadium on the old RFK site, and all
the other the things that are happening. And I think
that there's really positive momentum because this city, like every
city in America, has been through a lot of ebbs
and flows and it hasn't been good at times, but boy,
there's so much to be excited about it. And I
know you and your team are busy, but I can
just sense and I can tell and we can see

(27:14):
each other because we're on teams folks, a little behind
the scenes. Angie's excited and she's got the energy to
do this with her team. And I couldn't be happier
for you guys, as a resident, as a sports fan,
as an entertainment fan, and it's just really exciting. So
let's give the website one more time. And also, Angie,
I wanted to ask you because I know a lot
of people are looking for their new career and maybe
something exciting to be a part about. You're probably looking

(27:37):
for the best of the best so they can go
in the career stab as well on the website.

Speaker 3 (27:41):
Oh absolutely, I will share with you this.

Speaker 4 (27:43):

a part when you have credential, credentials and character together
it breeds an outstanding culture.

Speaker 3 (28:15):
And we have a wonderful, wonderful culture.

Speaker 4 (28:18):
Here at Events DC, and so it's important that you
take a look at us. I'm not saying it just
because I'm the president and CEO.

Speaker 3 (28:26):
I think this is the best place to work. And
guess what, our benefits are simply amazing.

Speaker 4 (28:33):
We believe in getting the work done, but we also
have these wonderful benefits for people to take care of themselves.

Events DC family because we are stayed by family. Stay
connected with us from an events perspective, and just stay

Speaker 3 (28:51):
We elevate, you're going to elevate as well. And Dennis,
before we depart, I just want to say thank you.
Thank you for.

Speaker 4 (28:58):
Giving us an opportunity to tell our story. Thank you
for giving us an opportunity to highlight what we offer
at ADNCYC, what we're doing as a city. But thank
you for being a sports fan and elevating the game
of sports.

Speaker 3 (29:13):
I really appreciate that.

Speaker 4 (29:14):
I want to thank Heartmedia as well, allowing our story
to be told, but being a voice for US nationally
and internationally.

Speaker 1 (29:23):
Well you're welcome. Anie.

Speaker 2 (29:24):
Thank you to you and your team because you're doing
just incredible work. And I know there's a lot more
to do, but it's fun work, it's exciting, and it's
extraordinary folks, as you've heard, and we want to hit
the tip of the iceberg. So make sure you check
out the website and thank you so much. I'm glad
we could feature you on CEOs. You should know, Angie,
all the best of you and continued success.

Speaker 3 (29:42):
Thank you, Dennis.
