Speaker 3 (00:08):
Back to Kelly and Blaze and today's top stories. On
a Friday edition of the show, we'll look at the
weekend forecast just ahead here on ninety four to three
WSC one.

Speaker 4 (00:17):
FED members in trouble. The Justice Department is investigating Federal
Reserve governor Lisa Cook. CNBC reported the decision is based
on a criminal referral from the Trump administration. The main
allegation against Cook is that she claimed two different properties
as her primary residence at the same time. The letter
was a drafsta FED chairman Jerome Powell and urged him

(00:37):
to fire Cook.

Speaker 3 (00:39):
So there's some sort of protection for them at play
here with regards to any kind of backlash, if you will,
with regards to their decisions in the way that they vote.

Speaker 4 (00:52):
Well, this is what they're trying to how they're trying
to frame this. Is that earlier this year, Yeah, so
there is a protection. Earlier this year, the Supreme Court
suggested FED board members are protected from terminations based on
policy differences. This is not a policy difference. This is
why they want after her over this. This is a

(01:12):
case of lying to you know, the local tax board,
possibly the bank. You know, I don't know all of
the details, but she claimed two different properties as her
primary residents. And anybody in South Carolina knows. Look at
the hoops you have to jump through to get your
four percent rate, you know, to claim the owner occupied homestead,

(01:36):
if you will, tax credit of four percent in South Carolina.
They won a couple of years of your tax returns.
You got to give them your car registrations, you have
to give them your voter ID card, all these things,
and then it all gets reviewed and then you get
your four percent rate. So so she's lying. And then

(01:57):
we see Adam Schiff lie do his mortgages. This is
what this other story we had this morning. They went
after Trump for exaggerating his wealth and find him now
up to five hundred million dollars in that judge dismissed this.
So they've been going after Trump over all of these
little bookkeeping things. And then you have people like the

(02:22):
on the FED, a governor of the Fed lying about
her primary residence. You have Adam Schiff lying on his
mortgage application. You have was it Letitia James, another one
of those lied about also their personal residents.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
Well it might have been, but it's more rules for
thee not me. And it is a common theme on
the left when it comes to that and being hypocritical.

Speaker 1 (02:45):
No one is above the lawn.

Speaker 3 (02:47):
And if you haven't gotten that message in this administration,
well you shortly will.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
Well, they're all crying saying that Trump's you know, weaponizing
the DOJ and again it's gaslighting because they've been doing
that against Trump years and years and years and years
now and then now when he does the same thing back,
they're all appalled.

Speaker 3 (03:07):
Yeah, oh, it's a glorious time. We've been tortured with
all of this in the previous administration, so it's nice
to see some come upance.

Speaker 4 (03:17):
Yeah. Well, I mean, if they're gonna call him out exactly,
and they've and there their lives are more egregious than his, right,
Like we saw how he was accused of overvaluing marl
Largo and then some judge puts like some ridiculously low
value on it to make the assertion that he overvalued

(03:39):
Mary Largo.

Speaker 3 (03:40):
Well, and it's amazing they even wielded the banks out
in that case.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
For the banks to say, you know, no, you know,
all of this is on the up and up.

Speaker 4 (03:48):
Yeah, the banks were like, no, we were satisfied with
what he provided. And of course, if anybody ever pulls
a mortgage, you know that they send it a praiser,
they do all of these things. They make sure that
they're covered the bank. So the bank even showed up
and said, no, it's you know, it passed our criteria.
We gave him the loan, he paid the loan back,
no problem. What's there to see here.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
So basically no grift.

Speaker 3 (04:14):
And at the end of the day, look at the
grifting going on even with the Fed Reserve Board, at
least this one member, it looks like, so, good lord,
no one is above the law.

Speaker 4 (04:26):
Well do they think they're not going to get caught?

Speaker 1 (04:28):
I mean, I don't understand. I don't know.

Speaker 4 (04:31):
If you're in that kind of position, I don't know
why you would.

Speaker 3 (04:34):
Do these things because maybe they thought they were protected
per whoever may be in power in the White House, Well,
turning a blind eye kind of thing.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Yeah, maybe, I mean, I don't know. It's hard to explain.

Speaker 1 (04:47):
How else could they get so embolden and be this way.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
Well you would think the same thing, I mean, because
they're liberal elites, that's why. And it's the same thing
as the I'm an ag. Did you see that video? Oh,
I'm an ag, i'm an ag, I'm an ag. And
it was these two women. Where was it in Delaware?

Speaker 1 (05:07):
I believe that was her daughter, by the way, that
was a braddy daughter.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
I thought it was her daughter, but it was her friend.

Speaker 1 (05:12):
Oh really, yes.

Speaker 4 (05:14):
And I assumed it was her daughter. But it said
in the story that it was her friend and it
was Delaware, wasn't it.

Speaker 1 (05:21):
I'm not quite sure.

Speaker 4 (05:22):
I can't remember what state it's in, but anyway, maybe
I'm wrong. But anyway, Yeah, these two women got all
hammered at some restaurant and the restaurant wanted to they
sent the police in and the police are like, hey,
they want to trespass you. Yeah, you need to leave,

(05:44):
and it would have been the end of it, but
she's like, i'm an ag, i'm an ag, i'm an ag.
And then they continue to argue with the police and
try to get away when the police are trying to
grab them by the arm and walk them away. So anyway,
they both went to jail and screaming I'm an age.

Speaker 1 (06:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (06:02):
And the best part was when he slammed the door
on her in the mid sentence after she said it
like twenty times I'm an a in the door slams.

Speaker 3 (06:10):
That was fantastic, But also the part where you know
she's in his face and so is the other lady
and uh, he looks over to the man and he says,
can you come get your children?

Speaker 1 (06:23):
And the man must have been the husband, I think
he said in there.

Speaker 4 (06:25):
Yeah. Well, he's like, I'm right here, babe, I'm right here, babe.
I'm right here, babe. I'm like, what a week, weirdo?

Speaker 1 (06:32):
The whole thing.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
Yeah, like that, Well, if you're a husband, what would
you do? You step in and take control of that?
And you're like, you tell your wife to shut up
and listen to the police officer and let's go. Yeah,
I'm right here, babe, as she's getting arrested and cart
it off to jail.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Your babe, to do nothing.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
Yeah, to do nothing. I'm a weak male. And you
obviously have my Uh. I don't know if I can
say that.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Probably say skinny jeans were too tight.

Speaker 4 (06:58):
No, we'll just say, you know, she had his you
know what's in a purse obviously, and took him to
jail with her because he didn't step up at all.
And so anyway, just another example of the liberal elitism.
So that's what I think it is. They think that
they are better than everybody else and that they'll get
away with stuff like this. Speaking of which, the FBI

(07:19):
carried out a raid on the Maryland home of President
Trump's former National Security advisor John Bolton early this morning.
The raid was confirmed by FBI Director Cash Bettel, who
posted on X No one is above the law. He
did not offer any details in what prompted today's action.

Speaker 3 (07:37):
Boy, this guy he can't get, he can't get. Somebody's
to stop him from himself. Trump actually tried and was
unsuccessful because he pinned a book. Who I guess there
was an NDA signed to work with the previous administration
and under Trump and one point zero.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
I mean, this is a he's a mess.

Speaker 4 (07:56):
He has tds.

Speaker 1 (07:58):
I mean, it's unbelievable. He you know, James Comy at
their hall and Patel has pledged Trump at the beginning
to rid the federal government of corruption and expose cover ups, and.

Speaker 3 (08:08):
This is exactly what he's doing. Look at what they
did with the mar A Lago raid and all these
other things. Well, doesn't feel good when it's happening to you, now,
does it?

Speaker 2 (08:17):
No?

Speaker 4 (08:17):
And I mean he's been an unspoken critic of Trump
and tries to supersede him and thinks he's smarter and
more important than Trump, and through several of his actions
in the things that he's said over the years, he's
the guy with the big bushy mustache. In case you
don't know who John Bolton is.

Speaker 3 (08:34):
Kind of looks like a skinny wolf for Brimley, I
mean I guess, so, yeah, he's got that bushy white
hair and the big bushy, you know, mustache. But you
know he Patel has also revealed and I mentioned Comy,
same with this guy. I mean they authorized leaks of
classified documents. I mean this while misleading Congress. That's a

(08:55):
direct quote from Cash Bettel And that was before the
twenty sixteen elections. And then we can find for it
on to now and so talk about just doing come
up and I mean it's twenty twenty five.

Speaker 4 (09:07):
Yeah, well we don't know what he's accused of doing yet,
but you know, obviously it was something to propel the
FBI to raid his home this morning.

Speaker 3 (09:17):
Well, and there was an investigation, by the way opened
up on Bolton and this is way back and it
was basically put on pause under what Joe Biden's regime.

Speaker 4 (09:29):
Well, we'll see what comes of it. Jin Chow said,
no Way. The US government said yes Way. A US
Navy sailor will face sentencing after being convicted of spying
for China. A federal jury convicted Jin Chow Patrick Way
of espionage and export violations in connection to his agreement
to sell navy secrets to a Chinese intelligence officer for

(09:51):
twelve thousand dollars. The Assistant Attorney General for National Security
said Way turned his back on his adopted nation for money,
warned others not to be tempted by money because they
will be prosecuted and sent to prison.

Speaker 1 (10:05):
Make an example, I mean e f Arounum find.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Out well Ways and naturalizes to US citizen. He served
as a machinist mate, held a security clearance, and had
access to sensitive information about the ship in other ships
in the Pacific Fleet.

Speaker 1 (10:22):
I'm glad he was busted. It's concerning, though.

Speaker 3 (10:25):
It makes me wonder how many other people are within
the ranks of our military in the United States of
America are willing to do harm for cash.

Speaker 4 (10:32):
Right, Well, he was easily recruited on social media by
the Chinese, he says. Other Chinese serving in the this
is way other Chinese serving in the US Navy are
still trying to figure out how to make extra money
in driving cabs, whereas I'm just leaking secrets. That's what
he texted to his mother. His mother responded, good job.

Speaker 1 (10:54):
Wow, how disturbing.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Well, let's hope under a Secretary of Defense hag sets
more stuff like this gets exposed, because I love.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
To see that.

Speaker 3 (11:04):
The recruiting numbers are up in massive ways under this
new administration, so weed out the bad ones.

Speaker 4 (11:10):
Well we'll see. I mean, yeah, I mean it is
disturbing in that this guy, I don't know, it's just
like what is simpleton? And then he's in the US.
Now what's he doing there in the first place? Like
he seems.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Does it say how long he'd been there?

Speaker 3 (11:28):
I think you reported that the I just I'm curious
of it if he got in under you know, was
it the previous administration? When you know they're kicking people
out for not being vaxed. The numbers are the lowest ever.
You know, the standards have been changed and lowered, and
you know, I'm just curious about that.

Speaker 4 (11:47):
Yeah, I was trying to look at it and see
how long he's been in there.

Speaker 3 (11:50):
Our forces were depleted, they you know, embraced a whole
bunch of craziness, including you know, all the woke and
DEI stuff that the new sect DEEF said. Security of
Defense said no more, We're not doing this anymore. We
lost you know, it wasn't a place of strength our
previous administration in our military. So if someone slipping through

(12:11):
the cracks, or we're bringing you know, lowering standards and
bringing people in who shouldn't be there in the first place,
per your question, That's what I'm saying. So that's why
I'm curious when he got in. Maybe it was before
former President Biden, I don't know.

Speaker 4 (12:26):
But you know, he was a US naturalized citizen, so
obviously he met the criteria. He was a machinist. He
had a skill. You know, what made him so eager
for money from the Chinese and for his mother to
say good job kind of shows you the mindset of
what they think about the United States of America.

Speaker 1 (12:46):
Yep, I agree this family.

Speaker 4 (12:49):
Good Friday morning to you. I'm glad that you're with
us this morning. This place needs smarter employees. A scammer
convinced employees at a gas station in Carlsburg, California, to
break into an ATM and through place of work. The
suspect said he was the business owner and it was
okay for the employees to take cash from the machine.
He had them download a third party app to continue

(13:10):
the conversation. Thankfully, A caller to nine point one reported
two men breaking into the ATM. When police arrived, they
stopped them. They used the app to talk to the scammer,
who taunted them and said they couldn't catch them. The
atm suffered significant damage, but no money was stolen.

Speaker 3 (13:30):
What a bunch of idiots. But apparently this is an
ongoing scam that even some here in the Low Country
have hit the talkback feature with this.

Speaker 2 (13:39):
Morning, Kelly Blaze, I operate a retail store here in
a load country area. We've got non locations about to
open our tenth and Mount Pleasant. But yes, you do
have stupid employees. We've gotten hit twice people calling our
stores saying they're the manager and telling the employees to

(13:59):
take all the week's cash deposits and deposit them in
a a bitcoin machine. We've got gotten twice.

Speaker 1 (14:08):
Wow. Huh, so there you go.

Speaker 4 (14:12):
Wow. I mean, yeah, I can't believe people are that stupid,
but I guess and that they're amongst us, That they're
among us. That's the thing. We have to live with
the stupid people.

Speaker 1 (14:25):
Well, and apparently employee them.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
So something maybe to talk about business owners out there,
Maybe something to talk to the employees about and say, hey,
you get a weird phone calls? If they seem to
you know, if it's if not to smell right, then
pass some smell tests at least at the very least
if we're doing anything, you know, instructions wise, like start
with talking to the owner, ask some questions.

Speaker 4 (14:50):
Well, I mean you should know some stranger.

Speaker 1 (14:52):
Calling you up on the phone, right, I mean think yes,
you would.

Speaker 4 (14:57):
Think that your instinct would tell you this isn't But
I guess they don't have any instincts.

Speaker 3 (15:03):
Listen to common sense, the lack of common sense. You're
surprised by this, I mean, I don't know. We've been
talking about this for quite some time. We need a
common sense revolution.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
Well, I mean, how is that going to be institute?

Speaker 1 (15:14):
And well, with this administration's taken the helm. They're trying.
We'll see, but you.

Speaker 4 (15:21):
Can't, you know, force sense into somebody.

Speaker 3 (15:25):
I mean, I think we can't stop trying, at least
by pointing out the idiot, you know, the well idiocracy
that's a isn't that a documentary?

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Maybe everybody should watch.

Speaker 4 (15:36):
It's not a documentary. It's a movie about this guy
who is frozen, I believe, and then crashes his spaceship
into the future. In any way in the future, everybody's
an idiot.

Speaker 1 (15:48):
So he feels like we've caught up.

Speaker 4 (15:51):
Listen. I mean, so, I don't know if you need to,
you know, we're living it. We can stop trying because
I'm I'm sick of living according to the lowest common
denominator in our society. Screw them, man, you know, I
don't care anymore. Get out of the way, stupid people, criminal,
everybody else. Everything's like now designed for the lowest common denominator.

Speaker 1 (16:13):
Well, that's not what I'm for.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
I'm merely saying, point out the idiocy, the stupid, you know,
like this story like we're doing. That's the trying part,
not embracing suck.

Speaker 4 (16:23):
I mean, I think we need to find a way
to get them out of the way instead of trying
to force some kind of sense that's never going to
take hold into them. Move them off to the side,
figure out a way around.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
Them, move them to California.

Speaker 4 (16:37):
So, speaking of people with no common sense, Former Vice
President Kamala Harris is announcing a fifteen city international tour
for her upcoming memoir entitled One hundred and Seven Days.
The former Vice president's book detailing her presidential run is
set to go on sales September twenty third, and the
tour will start in New York City the following day.

(16:59):
She'll hold events additional cities in the US before marking
her first international stop in London and ending the tour
in Miami in November. Shout on tour like I said,
they should have named it one hundred and seven Days
of awkward laughter and strange word silence. The reaction to
this announcement is the commentshious. North Carolina GOP Representative Virginia

(17:22):
Fox ripped the road show as a nationwide comedy tour.
She said she's doing a tour about how she lost.
Deputy White House Press Sectary Abbigail Jackson posted, does her
team have zero self awareness or do they just hate her? Yes,
because nothing says kicking off your twenty twenty eight campaign
like a book tour about how badly you lost at

(17:44):
the last election.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
I think it's a combination of both. They don't like
her and they're totally unaware.

Speaker 4 (17:49):
Stephen L. Miller says, because if this last election taught
us anything, it's that people want to hear more from her.

Speaker 1 (17:57):
Continuing to fail upward.

Speaker 4 (18:00):
I don't know if she's failing upward.

Speaker 3 (18:02):
Well, it's the rake she's stepping on that's coming upward.
I mean, let them continue to run her and fail.
I mean, this is pretty much gold for the rite.

Speaker 4 (18:12):
Well, I don't know if they're running her, she's running her.

Speaker 3 (18:16):
Certainly she's surrounded by powerful people who are like, yes,
we should try this again, and they'll try to rebrand
it and her. But how in the world can you
look at the ridiculous what was the what was the
mantra the logo of her whole campaign embracing love or
feel the love? When they were nasty and bitter and

(18:37):
divisive and awful and stupid.

Speaker 4 (18:40):
Yes, let's not forget that. I mean literally awkward, and
her answers didn't make any sense. I mean, she appeared drunk,
totally incapable, and so that's going to be hard to fix.
We'll see if she can pull it off.
