Speaker 1 (00:00):
So I want to let you in on a sneak
peek of what it's like to be inside the Secret
Simple Business Systems podcast. So if you go to Seizinghappy
dot com. When you're in there, you're going to get
a pop up that'll give you access to a secret
podcast that I have that I created exclusively for our

(00:24):
flagship program SBS, The Secret The Secret the Simple Business Podcast,
And in there I give really phenomenal resources and tips
and processes to help you to develop a brand that
speaks directly to your followers, to your ideal clients, and

(00:48):
how to create content that actually converts, which is what
we teach inside SBS, among a few other things. In
this secret podcast, I have this one episode that is
so flipping good that I just felt like I had
to bring it over to the Chats with GG podcast
Because every single time I get somebody that signs up

(01:14):
for the SPS podcast, somehow I think it's like seven
out of ten sign ups will send me a message
that says that was amazing, that exercise immediately gave me results,
and it felt so good to be able to get
it done. So I figured, if it's having that much success,

(01:34):
I wanted to share it with you, and so you're
gonna get to listen to it and hopefully take action
on it. Because this isn't just about listening and learning.
Remember that change only comes when you act upon what
you've learned. And if you want to learn more about
what happens inside the SPS podcast, head on over to

(01:54):
Seizinghappy dot com slash SBS and you'll get to sign
up for free to the Secret Podcast. In the meantime,
enjoy this preview here. This is Chats with gg a
podcast for women who are ready to step into their power,
get unstuck, and create more freedom in all areas of life.

(02:17):
I'm your host, GGDZ, certified life and business coach, media
personality and multi passionate entrepreneur. I've helped hundreds of women
find the necessary clarity, confidence, and courage to build their
dream life and achieve success with less stress. If you're

(02:37):
seeking weekly motivation, practical and spiritual advice, and tangible resources
to scale in life and in business, then you're in
the right place. Are you ready? Here we go. So
here's the thing that directly connects with your client that
helps them to go beyond thinking about pain points. Right.

(03:01):
So the way that we build trust is when our
client truly feels in their heart and their emotions and
their gut that you understand them, and not only that
you understand exactly where they are, but that you understand
the solution that they desire, the outcome that they desire
in their life or a business run, whatever it is

(03:22):
that you help them to do or accomplish or have. Right. So,
a lot of times, because we're so passionate about what
we do, we want to focus our messaging and the
things the way that we're communicating with our clients. We
want to focus it on what we do. But our
clients don't care what we do. They if I tell
you right now, I have the and I give you

(03:45):
the exact solution that you're seeking, You're immediately going to
be like, tell me more. Right. But if I tell
you there is a program with nine modules that have
different videos and each of them are fifteen minutes long,
and I share all of my expertise in there, I'm
making you dizzy just thinking about that. Right. People don't
want more to do, people don't want more to learn.
People are looking for solutions. And so one exercise that

(04:08):
I do with my clients often is called the imagine statement,
and this is going to be transformational for you in
two ways. Number One, it's going to help you to
create a really powerful piece of content that you can repurpose.
Whether you're creating this as a real you can repurpose
it as an email. You can repurpose it as a

(04:28):
more long form perhaps even a podcast episode if you
have a podcast, or you can make multiple of these
with the same overarching theme but a different but a
different copy. Right. And so it's a very simple three

(04:49):
step exercise. Step number one, you're going to put yourself
in the shoes of your client. I want you to
think like your client, what is the apps salute worst
case scenario that they worry about, that very frustrating, dreadful
thing that they go through, that moment of overwhelm, the

(05:10):
thing that's taking away their peace, what's keeping them up
at night? Right? What fear do they have around the
thing that you offer, around the transformation? How would they
describe it? This is the key to this exercise actually
working for you is being able to really use their words.

(05:32):
This is your chance to show them you truly understand
what they're in and what they want. Those are two
separate things. The situation they're in and the situation the
outcome that they desire are two very different things. You
want to show them that you understand both. One creates
connection by helping them to understand, by helping them to

(05:53):
see that you understand where they are, it immediately creates
a connection. They feel seen, they feel understood, and by
being very clear on understanding the outcome that they desire,
then that builds a desire for working with you. That
builds a trust because if you get them, you understand
what it is that they're going through, then you're telling

(06:15):
them that you have the outcome, the solution for them.
There is a connection and a trust that's built there. Right,
And so the way that this works is if you
can use their words, if you're speaking about this in
marketing copy so in other words, in your words in
your promotional verbiage, it's not going to work. So if
you're not sure how your client would speak about their problem,

(06:38):
then you need to take a step back and do
like step whatever this step is before step one, like
pre step one, and do a little bit of research.
Talk to your clients and ask them, hey, how did
you feel before we started working together? What were the
biggest things that were holding you back and find where
the overarching theme is there and where the same words
come up over and over again with your clients. Number

(07:00):
two is you're going to think about your unique solution, right, So,
what is the thing that makes your solution stand out
against the competition? Do you solve the problem faster than most?
Do you offer an outcome or an experience that no
one else can not in the way you do it.

(07:21):
Do you have a team that has a special expertise
or a special process that sets you apart. Right, You
need to be able to pinpoint what it is about
you specifically and the way that you do what you
do that makes you unique that makes you stand out
from everybody else who offers the same service that you offer.

(07:44):
For example, I'm a media and business coach. There's a
bajillion people out there who teach media right, like social media,
how to create content, copy whatever, and there's a lot
of business coaches out there. What makes me unique is
that I have a unique tool set that those coaches
do not have. I have over twenty years of experience
in actual media, in radio and television, producing marketing right.

(08:07):
So when it comes to creating media that is meant
to reach masses. I have an acumen. I have experience
that is different that makes me different that I bring
to the table that other media coaches do not. In
addition to the training and experience that I have for
social media, YouTube, whatever. Right on the other side, on

(08:28):
the business side, I have something that is also very
unique against other business coaches or above other business coaches,
and that is that I have actual business experience. A lot,
if not most quote unquote business coaches out there, the
first business they've run is their coaching business. I, on
the other hand, have opened my business twenty one years

(08:50):
ago at the time of recording this episode, and in
addition to that, I've helped to launch multiple other businesses
before I even became certified as a coach. So I
bring actual business experience in different areas of entrepreneurship to
the table. But what makes me especially unique in the

(09:11):
way that I do what I do is that I
give you the power to decide in which direction and
which tools and which resources we use by first tapping
into your intuitive compass. That is the most powerful thing
that I offer. Where you are always in charge, You're
not going to come to me for me to tell

(09:32):
you what to do and how to do it, because
I can only tell you what to do and how
to do it according to what I know, what I believe,
what I have tried, and what I have accomplished. And
I am not you. You are your own unique phenomenal
goddess in your own unique phenomenal way. And so what
is most important is that we tap into your intuitive compass,

(09:52):
check in which direction does your soul tell you that
you need to go? And then we can utilize any
of the one thousand tools I have in my toolbox
to help you get there. Does that make sense? So
what is your unique way in which you offer that solution?
And the most important thing to remember here is cheaper

(10:12):
isn't value? Okay, so saying it, oh, I charge less
than everybody else, I do it for cheaper than everybody else.
That isn't a value. Is What is a value is
your uniqueness. So find where that uniqueness is. And then
step number three is we're going to craft what I
call your imagine statement. So write this down if you're

(10:33):
not driving, if you're doing something else, just please operating
heavy machinery, please do not write anything down. Focus on
what you're doing, but otherwise, write this down. Imagine you're
in and then you're going to insert whatever that dreadful
situation is of your clients in their words. Right, you're
going to say, and you are, and you're going to

(10:56):
insert the emotions, the frustration, the us they're ready to
throw in the towel, whatever that is, right, And then
you're going to say, this is exactly what my team
and I help you too, and it could be avoid
solve whatever. Right. And then you're going to say, we
specialize in and you're going to insert the outcome, not

(11:21):
the thing you do. You're not going to say we
specialize in bookkeeping. You're not going to say we specialize
in filing your taxes. You're not going to say we
specialize in probate law. You're not going to say that
because nobody cares. You're going to say, we specialize in
the outcome. So, for example, we specialize in reducing your

(11:44):
tax burden, we specialize in planning your dream events stress free.
We specialize in securing your visa status with confidence. Right.
And then you're going to say, and we bring and
you're going to insert your special qualifier. What is the
unique thing so is it years of experience? Is it?

(12:04):
And we bring and you're going to insert your client
results in other words, and we've been able so and
we bring it could also be and in the past
we've been able to One unique qualifier that I can
offer is we've been able to increase sales for our
clients anywhere from thirty to sixty percent in just three
months working together. Right, that's unique, It's true. It's client results.

(12:27):
Right now, you could also say, what is this special
method in there? Right? And we bring you the power
of developing your own intuitive compass so that you feel
more confident in your decisions as a business owner. Whatever
it is, right, what is that uniqueness? Right? And then
you're going to close with a call to action. So

(12:48):
that is you know, something as simple as a DMS
today to book your free consultation, or hit reply to
this email to book a free call, or you know,
whatever it is that you that your call to action
one is that's the way that you're going to close
this imagined statement. So here's an example of what a
potential imagined statement could sound like for a marketing company. Right,

(13:13):
So you might say something like, imagine pouring your heart
into your business and still hearing crickets. You're posting every day,
following the trends that maybe even boosting a few ads,
but nothing's landing. You're frustrated, overwhelmed, and starting to wonder
if your dream was too big to begin with. This
is exactly what we help you avoid. We specialize in

(13:36):
turning confusion into clarity and strategy into sales. We create
custom marketing that actually connects, converts, and grows with you.
With over ten years of experience and hundreds of happy clients,
we don't just give you marketing. We give you messaging
that moves people. Dm us today for a free consult Right.

(13:57):
This is actually edited cop that I've used in my
own marketing before to pitch some of my marketing services. Right,
so you can you know, you can tailor this a
little more, a little less for social media, for email,
for podcasting, whatever. Right, So you're gonna you can adapt
something like that, But essentially you can get the idea

(14:18):
of how it helps to create the I understand where
you're at. Here's the transformation I offer in the unique
way in which I offer it. So it's what's going
to help you to stand out from the other people
who offer your services. This is your imagined statement. You
can use it in different ways. You can create different copies,

(14:39):
different like words for it, but while still talking about
your services right, because there are going to be many
many scenarios in which you help your client to do
the great thing that you do right, like to get
the results that you offer. I would love to hear
your thoughts on this. I'd love to hear your actual
statement like I'd love to hear your imagined statements. So

(15:00):
show it to me inside the community and let me
know how it landed. Let me know how you felt
creating it. Let me know how you got results, what
results you got with it when you applied it to
your infrastructure in your business. Because you know how much
I love hearing from you and how much I love
to learn about your success and the transformations that you're
experiencing through this podcast. I'll talk to you soon. Thank
