pretentious facades of rhetoric and worship atthem as political altars. They produce fussy
word salads to justify disappearing Trump andanyone or anything connected with him. As
this book is being finalized, angryleftist employees at publishers Simon and Schuster are

accusing their employer of betraying the public'strust in our editorial process and accommodating race
based structural oppression. Gosh, soundsbad. What happened? Simon and Schuster
contracted to publish a book authored byRepublican Mike Pence. Pence is a former

Indiana congressman and governor who served asVice president in the Trump administration. Regardless
of whether you agree with his politics, he deserves basic respect as a dedicated
public servant and an exemplary Christian husbandand father. It is petty and pathetic

to declare that such a man shouldnot be allowed to publish a book.
In America, you don't see theright trying to block publication of books by
former President Obama and other leftists.The left is like a brady child holding
his ears while screaming and demanding thatthe competing noise stop because he does not

want to hear what challenges him.The sniveling snowflakes at Simon and Schuster wind
that publishing a book by Pence wouldtreat the Trump administration as a normal chapter
in American history. It's not enoughfor the left to win the twenty twenty
presidential election. History must be revisedand sanitized so that the Trump presidency did

not happen, or at least isnot acknowledged as a valid event. Some
who support Trump are exhausted by thisperpetual harassment. They dread another four years
of negative drama that would accompany anotherTrump presidency. That's how the left rolls.
It keeps pounding on you until youlose your will to fight. Don't

give in, don't let the leftpick our candidates. Sarah Barracoot of Palin,
vice presidential candidate on the Republican ticketwith presidential candidate John McCain in two
thousand and eight, should have beenthe presidential candidate in twenty twelve instead of
milktoast Mitt Romney. Republican leaders said, we can't run Palin. The left

has beaten her up so badly shewould be dead on arrival as a candidate.
It is true that the left pummeledPalin a decade ago. One of
my children, in high school orcollege at the time, and actually rightish
politically, was laughing about Palin.You know, my child said the goofy

one who said she was an experton Russia because she could see Russia from
her house in Alaska. I saidit was an actress playing Palin on a
comedy show who said that, notPalin. It was part of an overall
campaign to make Palin look like aditzy air hit. It would have been

denounced as sexist hate speech if ithad been directed at a woman on the
left. My child insisted there weresources confirming that Palin had said it,
but was unable to produce one.That's because Palin never said it. The
derogatory myth was based on an interviewabout foreign policy and national security during the

two thousand and eight campaign. Theinterviewer, who traveled to Alaska to talk
to Palin noted the proximity of Alaskato Russia. Palin, a former governor
of Alaska, pointed out the geographicalfact that from an island that is part
of Alaska, off the western edgeof the mainland, you can look across

the Bearing Strait and see Russian coastline. She said, we must avoid another
Cold War and build a good relationshipwith our next door neighbor. She never
said anything about seeing Russia from herhouse. The point is that we on
the right cannot let the left createa mirage a failure around our champions.

A friend who generally supported Trump's policiescalled Trump's presidency a blank show rhymes with
spit. We can't let the leftrun over our champions. And then declare
them roadkill to be abandoned as unfitfor further duty. Unfit says who says
the left that splatters them with excrementand then calls them filthy, says the

Republican establishment. Afraid to challenge theleft. Candidates worthy of our support will
be bludgeoned by the left. Thosebloodied up the most ought to be at
the top of our wish list.I spent a few of the preceding pages
taking apart lies about Trump to dispelthe false darkness created and perpetuated by the

left. After the dismal economic performancean increased racial hostility of the Obama presidency,
the Trump presidency should have been sunshineand clear skies, a Reaganesque Mourning
in America two point zero, withjobs and prosperity for all. Instead,
even before the pandemic hit, theleft drenched the nation with mourning m O

is a treasonous putin puppet. Onlythe rich do well in the Trump economy,

devastation caused by COVID were not Trump'sfault. Still, it's a tough time
to be president when Americans are dyingin a global pandemic and state and local
