Speaker 1 (00:00):
Greeting, salutations, and welcome to my friends to another edition
of The Power Hour on six' TEN, wtv And I'm Chuck.
Douglas you know who you, are and we take it from.
There we get one hour, together which MEANS i talk
really really fast and you must listen even. Faster let
me apologize right up, front just in case you hear any, booms,
bangs bumps or anything like. That we got a little
work going on around here, today and so there's there's

(00:22):
people with drills and hammers and saws and, such and
if any of, that if you hear, Any i'm. Sorry i'm,
sorry But i'm not doing it. MYSELF i, mean it's,
uh it's just it's one of those. Things AND i
remember WHEN i used to do the podcast AND i
would do those from home AND i, had, like you,
know the kids were in the, background OR loopo was

(00:42):
barking or or you, know it just all kinds of.
Stuff sometimes that incidental noise makes things kind of. Interesting
so there you. Go there you have. It i've got so,
much so much on my mind. Today first of, all
we had stabbing assault and knife was used today because you,
know if there's assault, weapons the knife has to be an, assault,

(01:04):
Right i'm assuming it was a. Knife it took, place
As i'm understanding, it in the meal preparation area A
Mount Carmel, east between two. EMPLOYEES i still don't know
BECAUSE i haven't had time to keep up on. Everything
don't know what caused. IT i don't. Know you, know
it was a woman and a, man and apparently the

(01:25):
woman used something to stab the man and then she
went and hid in the woods and the police showed
up and they found her and they're both unstable conditioned
LAST i, heard and recovering out there At Mount Carmel
east where all this took. Place but if you're gonna get,
STABBED i guess a hospital is probably probably a good
place for that to. Happen all, Right, so first of,

(01:48):
all a day before, yesterday the news came out about
this human trafficking. Crackdown And i've been see there's another.
Sound there's my phone making. Noise, MAN i can't even
count on my phone to be. QUIET. U human trafficking.
Crackdown And Dave yost held a press Conference High Attorney,
general and they talked, about you, know the number of

(02:08):
people that had been arrested and so. Forth it was
The operation Next door is what they. Called it took
place last, week ended with the arrest of one hundred
and thirty five people who were looking to purchase, intimacy
if you, will from. Miners, okay, now the fact that
this is miners definitely and definitively and exclusively, minors, fine

(02:34):
lock them, up, baby lock them all. Up i'm good with.
THAT i just that the human trafficking thing has been
sticking in my crawl for a couple of, days AND
i have to talk about it Because i'm honest with.
YOU i always try to be very forthright about. Things
they were, here we had they, said all these, arrests
and then they had sixty seven survivors who were offered.

(02:57):
Help and that was the phrase that got, me because you,
know as, minors, okay survivors is. Fine as, ADULTS i
THINK i, BELIEVE i truly feel like, we uh we
excuse bad behavior when it comes to those who are

(03:18):
not looking for but actively selling their physical. Services AND
i JUST i, NEED i need to say it out
loud and and get it off my chest because while
anybody who is anybody who has, grabbed, kidnapped forced into

(03:38):
having physical relations with someone for. Money that that's human. Trafficking,
absolutely that is, slavery that should not, Happen that that
should be punished to the highest possible degree that the law,
allows no. Question on the other, hand and Again i'm
Just i'm trying to be just truthful with. You there
are people out there who are not forced to do,

(04:04):
anything and yet they do. It they make the choice
to do. It and many will, say, well but how
often are they drug addicts and they're trying to make
money because they're addicted to. Drugs, okay so they made
a choice to use the. Drugs, maybe perhaps possibly the
addiction was not a, choice but that is that's what's

(04:26):
going to happen when you use the. DRUGS i, MEAN
i think we all raise your. Hand if you, don't
if you don't know, that could you raise YOUR i
don't see any, Hands, Okay so everybody who uses the
drug you know that addiction is a. Possibility and if
you decide you're going to go out and rent your
body in order to make money so that you can

(04:47):
feed this addiction that you created by using the, drugs
this is of your own. Accord it's hard for me
to call you a victim or a survivor of human,
trafficking you are trafficking yourself and in this allegedly autonomous,
age you, know my, body my, choice and so. Forth

(05:09):
it's it's it's difficult for me to digest this idea
that the, people the activists that want to, say you,
know these are human trafficking victims when they're making the
choice to do. So the same people who say they
should have every right, to you, know abort a child
because it's their, body their, choice are also, saying, well
they shouldn't have the right to go out and you,

(05:31):
know rent their body for someone else's pleasure or. Amusement
it's not THAT i think they should mind. You It's
i'm not, saying, oh, Yes i'm in favor of, that
But i'm saying that the two points of view do not.
Coincide don't coincide at. All, now let me tell you
about this operation next door from last. Week, okay the

(05:54):
task force made nineteen arrest In, Mahoning, columbiana And portage.
Counties and WHEN i heard WHEN i heard who some
of the arrests were of the people soliciting what they
thought were minors for sexual, relations sicken. Me sicken, me, clergy,

(06:18):
military the people that were supposed to look up. To
and it's not That it's not THAT i discount the
value of physical, relations intimacy with another. PERSON i know
that can be a strong. FORCE i get. THAT i get,

(06:39):
that BUT i don't get that it can be so
strong that you just lose your damn. Mind and really
that's what these people. Do and, again going back to
my original, point if people who are choosing to rent
or sell themselves to other people for their, use if

(07:03):
if they are are victims of their addiction or, whatever
why is the same not said perhaps for this overwhelming
biological urge excluding minors, now but for this overwhelming biological
urge of those who are out there looking to. Purchase
they've got this crazy drive and they've got To i'm

(07:27):
just saying It's i'm not excusing any of. It it's
just so hard for me to understand sometimes because we're,
UH i, mean we're constantly trying to classify and put
people in these various cubby holes so that we can
either pity, them punish, them or subsidize. Them THAT i, think,
UH i think sometimes we go a little bit. Far

(07:48):
so there you have, That, ohio. LEGISLATURE i have another
bone to pick with the. LEGISLATURE a proposed bill in
The ohio legislature would allow statewide elective Fit they've got
to be state, wide statewide elected officials to carry firearms
inside courthouses across the, state as well as inside the State.

(08:10):
House as the law currently stands in the, state anyone
who is not law, enforcement even people who have concealed carry,
licenses cannot bring firearms inside court. Buildings here we. Go
guess WHAT i got a problem with? THIS i got.
It and, okay before, you before you get, crazy now before, you,

(08:31):
well wait in a, minute, chuck You're it's a crazy.
World and these politicians they need to worry about crazy
people doing crazy. Things they need to protect theirself and
blah blah, blah, blah blah blah. Blah let, me let
me susplain this thought to. You their, lives their, protection
their well being is no more important to me than is.
Mine and IF, i as a, responsible law abiding, citizen

(08:56):
am denied the right to carry a firearm inside a,
courthouse or inside a state, house or inside any other government,
building then why should they be given that? Right i'd
explain that to. Me what makes them more, important what
makes their, existence what makes their well being more important

(09:18):
than my? Own AND i suggested a long time, ago
several years, ago in, FACT i THINK i was talking
With Eric delbert on the L epd On Target, show
If i'm not, mistaken AND i suggested at that, time,
look why don't we just have a different level of
concealed carry permit And state Of, ohio why don't we have,
like you, know the regular concealed carry and then for

(09:41):
those of us that would want to do, it get
like the you, know the gold card if you will
of concealed. Carry maybe you'll want us to qualify every two,
years or maybe you'll want us to you, know pass
a more rigorous background check or something like. That but
with that golden concealed, carry that would allow you to
carry in government all. Offices because you know how many
crazy people go into the. Courthouse you're down, there you're

(10:04):
in the, courthouse and, man they are making noise in,
here aren't. They you're going to the courthouse for whatever,
reason or any other government building and somebody just loses
it and they come in and they start stabbing or
shooting or. Whatever, well they can't do that because there's
a no weapons. Policy in case you haven't, noticed people
who break the law and do violent things in society

(10:25):
don't really care about your. Laws your laws are meaningless to.
Them laws affect law abiding, people they do not affect
criminals that don't care about your. Laws so if we
were to, say you, know the legislative members of the,
legislature inclusive of all other legal residents of the state

(10:49):
Of ohio are given the opportunity to get a concealed
carry permit and pass the gold. Standard if you will
get that gold level concealed carry permit and would be
allowed to, carry Then i'd be fine with, it as
long AS i to have the ability to carry my
weapon and protect myself in those same government. BUILDINGS i

(11:12):
don't think that's. Outrageous look that you cannot have the
Second amendment is the Second. Amendment you cannot have a
second amendment that gives a certain class of people a
right more so than it gives the rest of the
people that. Right what if what if you, said what

(11:33):
the let me see? Here how about the Fourth? Amendment,
no you're free from worrying about you, know search and,
seizure illegal, confiscation and all that kind of. Stuff what
if what if that only applied to to curly haired
members of the state Of ohio you have to be
a curly haired citizen in order to have A Fourth amendment? Right,

(11:56):
otherwise because that's the same. Thing and this is the same,
thing curly haired citizen or a member of the statewide elected,
office same. Thing you are creating a new class of
citizen to which that constitutional right is being applied in
a specific. Way and THAT'S bs, man that's ABSOLUTE. Bs

(12:17):
it's not THAT i don't want them to be able
to protect. THEMSELVES i absolutely. DO i absolutely. Do What
i'm saying is their life is no more important and
no more worthy of protection than. Mine and if they
can carry a, weapon why CAN I do you know
what kind of people we elect to? Office do you

(12:39):
know what kind of? Hell remember that thing a couple
of years ago where the guy was reading off all
the charges domestic violence charges and have spent time in
jail and can't get credit cards because of bad credit
and can't all that, Stuff and he, said so what
do you think is it THE, nfl or is it
the or is it THE? Nba and people raise their
hands and he, said actually it's The United Slate States.

(13:00):
Congress there was like a whole bunch of them, that you,
know we're either, criminals had criminal, charges spent time in,
jail have been charged with stuff including domestic violence. Issues
and this was members of The. Congress we've, elected you,
know prosecutors that have never done a day in court
before they got. Elected we've elected treasurers that have filed

(13:21):
bankruptcy several. Times just because you get elected does not
make you a superior. Being and just because you are
elected doesn't mean you should have any sort of access
to a constitutional right that would be denied to. Me
or maybe that's just. Me traffic and weather together time

(13:43):
from day and, night heating and cooling products And Dell.
Mechanical how's it going out, There, johnny
