Speaker 1 (00:00):
No good story ever begins with these words. A Florida man, see,
oh boy, see you already know what's coming. Federal grand
jury found a Florida man, naturally two Florida man guilty
on all charges in the murder for higher killing of
a seventeen year old girl who reported a sexual assault
one day before her death because they oh my god.

(00:27):
US Attorney's Office for the Middle District of Florida on Monday,
said jury convicted Leonard white thirty seven, also known as
Lean and Mike Williams, and Stick Sheldon Robinson twenty two,
also known as Poe Boy, was convicted as well on

(00:47):
conspiracy charges conspiracy to commit murder for higher, murder for hire,
premeditate first degree murder, discharge of a firearm during or
in relation to a crime of violence resulting in death,
discharge firearm and further into a violent crime, witness tampering,
obstruction of justice. That's what you call throwing the book
at him. Good for you, Florida. In the news for

(01:09):
these prosecutors said that Isabella Scavelli and her mother told
Hernando County Sheriff's Office the white Head sexually assaulted Scarelli
on February sixth of twenty twenty three. The next day, Robinson,
who was White's cousin, win Di Scurrelli's home. According to prosecutors,
when they opened the door owns and fired a barrage
of gunshots, killing Scavelli. I guess it is, and hitting

(01:35):
multiple other people. So they absolutely threw the book, and
I just I wanted to pass out all. I'm happy
when the bad guys get something they deserve. Touched on
this during Blazer Show. But I will reiterate to you
that five six seven eighty nine passed bond issues. Just
it won't raise your taxes.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
It'll make the world a better place, and birds will
sing beautiful thongs, the sun will shine brighter, everything will
be wonderful. But it will don't raise your taxes. So
vote yes on five six seven eight nine.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
And you did. Here's the result. Columbus residents are now
bracing for increases in utility rates as the city plans
to raise water and electric bills now again, as I
said during Blazer Show, the bills have already raised. I
don't give a good flip flop what you tell me.
When they went from quarterly billing to monthly billing. I'm

(02:24):
paying more for water at my house, and I've seen
a lot of people who have been on their social media,
goh my gosh, how did I suddenly get a seven
hundred dollars water bill? This gay it falls from the sky.
So they've already gone up. Whether the city admits to
that or not. The proposed hykes the story continues, will
be discussed at a city council meeting. Listen closely now Thursday,

(02:46):
offering a first opportunity for public feedback. Let me stop again,
because when on Thursday, Zach, do you know when on Thursday?
I do not three thirty pm. That's when people who
are out working their butts off to make the money
to pay your ridiculous bills are at work. Three point
thirty pm is obnoxious, insane, and inconsiderate. The city needs

(03:10):
to hold these meetings at a time after people get
off work. Or maybe that's just me. For those living
within Columbus, water bills could rise by one hundred and
twenty five dollars annually, about ten ten to fifty a month.
Budget listen, budget plan or low income rate payers, You're
not a customer. You're not a consumer, You're a rate payer.
It's like being a blood donor. You're just something they

(03:33):
can suck the life out of rate payer budget plan
or low income rate payers may see an increase of
over one hundred dollars a year. Wait mine, hang on,
So people in Columbus in general could see one hundred
and twenty five dollars a year rise. But if you're
low income, you could still see an increase of over

(03:54):
one hundred dollars a year. But that ain't much of
a break for being low income, now, is it? Subdivision
residents in our suburb residents could face nearly one hundred
and fifty dollars more annually because of course, living in
the suburbs, you're forced to get Columbus water and sewer
services additionally, Oh yes, additionally electric bills. I'm assuming this

(04:18):
means Columbus City Electric customers electric bills are expected to
climb by thirteen percent, translating to an increase of eighty
one to one hundred and twenty six dollars per year
for the average customer. City officials justify the rate hikes
by citing a growing Central Ohio population. Isn't that what

(04:40):
you say you want? And if it's growing here listen. Quote.
Maybe it's just my understanding of mathematics. If it's growing,
then there are more people to pay for stuff. Why
are the people who are here supposed to pay more
for stuff? Shouldn't the cost to some things going down.

(05:05):
City also cites the cost of ongoing projects, which include
a two point three billion dollar water intake plant on
Home Road in Delaware County, two new upground reservoirs costing
three hundred million dollars, and a one billion dollar initiative
to replace lead pipes in the city. Good luck for that.

(05:26):
They did that. In my neighborhood, on my beloved west
side a couple of weeks ago, there were signs up
to attend a community meeting to replace the lead pipes.
It falls under this Operation Blueprint that the City of
Columbus has Operation Blueprint where they were going around the
west side and doing some pumps. It's because all of
these old homes we didn't have some pumps over there,

(05:47):
so the city was installing. I said, well, we held
they're giving them putting them in free. Well do they
came out? They assessed, because yep, we're gonna we needed
some pumping here, and uh and uh you know, we've
got a long waiting list. We'll be back in in April.
It's November. Still haven't seen or heard from anybody. So

(06:07):
if this is as ministered as well as the sum pumps,
it ain't gonna happen. The meeting again three point thirty
pm on Thursday. For those of you who are you know,
unemployed or can take the day off because you live
a life of luxury, feel free to hit on down
to City Hall and the city Council chambers and voice
your opinion on the fact that they want more, more,

(06:29):
always more. They don't give more, but they want more
constantly again. On the Blazer Show, talked about this nurse
at OSU Medical Center. Accosta says she was strangled by
some wild man. She's a postpartum nurse, meaning that she's
dealing with mothers who you know, they've had their children,

(06:50):
the babies are out and into the world, and she's
you know, taking care of mom and baby and helping
everybody get adjusted to the life. And crazy man shows
up and grabs her by the collar and then and
then apparently tries to strangle her. And there's a warrant
issued because he's he's been you know, he's been told

(07:10):
don't come back here unless she need medical help. I
wouldn't let him back even for that, But there's a
warrant issued for him, which leads me to believe that
he's out there running around, probably looking for somebody else
to strangle. Right now here. Here's what I'm worried about, though.
That lack of security was addressed when the nurses had
their contract agreement, because apparently they did not feel safe

(07:32):
in the hospital, and the hospital apparently he's not holding
up there into that. Secondly, Easton Town Center. Did you
see if this fight at Easton? I don't get this either.
This may sound why does Easton have all these problems?
First of all, yeah, it used to be nice. I
used to go there when I first moved here. Bryce
and I would go all the time. I don't even
think about going there anymore. I've been there like twice, Yeah,

(07:56):
just because I don't. You know, I don't drive that
far to spend money. I try to keep close to home.

Speaker 3 (08:00):
Yeah, but I saw the headlines, I was like, I
don't need to watch it.

Speaker 1 (08:04):
This past weekend, what they call a chaotic scene in
the WSY six coverage, a large group involving more than
a dozen young people broke out on the second floor
near H and M. The incident, which was captured on
video posted on social media. Columbus Police special duty on

(08:26):
the scene. They did respond. Easton Town Center has its
own security as well. No arrest were made. Thing question
mark and here's here's and there were no injuries. So
here's my question. If you have in an open, occupied,

(08:50):
bustling shopping center a fight involving at least a dozen people,
if you have special duty Columbus police officers and your
own security p people on the scene, if you have
them on video doing what they are doing? Ay, how
the hell has nobody arrested for anything? And b if

(09:11):
nobody was hurt, was it really a fight? I mean,
shouldn't somebody have at least gone home with a sprained
wrist or something.

Speaker 3 (09:19):
Maybe your kids forgot how to fight.

Speaker 1 (09:20):
I'm just yeah, y'all don't even know how to beat
up on each other. In a statement, needs to emphasize
it's zero tolerance policy. How's that working out for you, guys?
For disorderly and disruptive conduct? And again, how zero tolerance
are you? If all these people were in a fight
and it's on video, and you had colubs, police, special duty,

(09:42):
and security, and yet nobody was erased, arrested. What exactly
is your zero tolerance policy? Don't let them come back
unless they need healthcare or something. Just say it. They
vowed to hold individuals, regardless of their age, fully accountable
for conduct, talked about that compromises the safety and experience

(10:03):
of their guests. Again, what did I just say? Who's
been held responsible? The police and the security in the
camera and nobody was erec The incident was the second
outburst of violence at Easton Town Center in the past month.
On October eighteenth, a woman was attacked by a group
of at least twenty teens near the Big Fountain at the

(10:26):
center of the shopping area. She was taken to the
hospital expected to recover, though she informed police she did
not wish to file charges. Okay, who are you and
what is wrong with twenty people attack you and you
don't want to file charges? We are living in bizarro world, man.

Speaker 3 (10:46):
Was it somebody that she knew and she was afraid of?
I don't know, but twenty people? Really, twenty people?

Speaker 1 (10:56):
Come on? Twenty people. That's what the story is is
and of course. You know, people like me can't carry
weapons anywhere because they're they're scared of us. Twenty people
attacking you, a dozen people fighting, No arrest were made,
law abiding citizen, you're the bad guy. Wow, we're messed up?

(11:18):
All right? You got anything to throw in there? Uh?

Speaker 3 (11:21):
Yeah, very important announcement. Yes, Kentucky plays Louisville tonight in basketball.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
Wait minute, is it Louisville in Kentucky?

Speaker 3 (11:28):
Yeah, Kentucky University plays Louisville.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
So Kentucky's basically play another Kentucky.

Speaker 3 (11:32):
Basically more important than Ohio State, Misschigan.

Speaker 1 (11:36):
Nothing is more important than Ohio State. Haven't you read
the papers? Yeah? I read them.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
Who has the lead in that series? Anyway?

Speaker 1 (11:46):
In the Ohio State Michigan? Well over the years or
recent past, like total, I think I think we're still
ahead by two. I think we're maybe we're ahead by twelve.
Something like that happen. I don't I guarantee you them either.
We're thirty point winners this year. We'll find out on
the twenty ninth of November.
