with jeep Infest. Who's got It's happening this weekend August third,

jeep Infest.

we're on the radio, TV, social media, on all forms.
Jeep Infest is a celebration of jeeps and it's coming
to Aransas Past, Texas this weekend.
Speaker 1 (00:32):
Yeah. Now it's more than just a car show, right,
It's got a lot of great stuff that's happening. Tell
us about some of the stuff that's going to be
happening at jep Infest.
Speaker 3 (00:40):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
We've got a vendor fair with the majority of them,
about seventy five percent of them that are the vendors
there have things that are jeep related. Okay, Now, our
pecan people, they didn't.
Speaker 3 (00:49):
Carve out their pecans so look like jeeps.
Speaker 2 (00:52):
But all jeepers love foods, so we also have food
food trucks, and then we have a hot dog dangling contest,
getting neck contests, which get your mind out of the gutters. Everyone.
It is making your jeep naked by taking the tops
and sides and doors off. And then we also have
like a hot Chick jeep contest, we have dirty jeep contests,

a Patriotic Jeep contest. So we've got a little bit
of fun for everyone at jeep Infest.

Okay, since you're a jeep enthusiast, I got to ask
you the question, what is up with the rubber ducks?
Speaker 3 (01:25):
Oh? Man?
Speaker 2 (01:25):
The rubber ducks are some of my favorite things to do.
I like to go up to jeeps and give them
a rubber duck and yell at them you've been ducks, okay,
And it's just saying, hey, you've got an awesome jeep.
I love your jeep, and here's a duck for you
to just celebrate your jeep.

Oh okay, Because I noticed that in the poster, I
think it's like on with a jeep and there's litt
rubber duck in the inside of the jeep. So I
was wondering about that. And then a friend of mine
who has jeeps, they always talk about having rubber ducks.
So I was wondering what the coalition was with jeeps
and rubber ducks. So that's what it is.

Yeah, and it's it's totally a jeep thing. Also, when
you have a jeep, you're supposed to wave at all
the other jeepers, right, and if you don't wave at them,
you might.
Speaker 3 (02:04):
Get some obscenity owe at you.

So there's a lot of things in the jeep community.
I didn't know before I started jeeping, but within a
couple days of buying my first jeep, my friend.
Speaker 3 (02:14):
Is like, this is what you have to do with
a jeep.
Speaker 2 (02:16):
You've got to get stickers and ducks, and I'm like, wow,
I didn't know there was so much responsibility would be
in a jeeper, but there is.
Speaker 1 (02:23):
So jeep infest. Of course a lot of the jeep
enthusiasts want to be there, But anybody can go to this, right.
Speaker 2 (02:29):
Yeah, your vehicle could identify as a Jeep and you
could come. Okay, so you could have a pickup truck
that's all broken down, but you can make it to
jeep at Fest, right, just say it identifies with a
Jeep and you're welcome.

Now, this is happening at the Ranas Pass Civic Center, right, Yes.
Speaker 2 (02:45):
Seven hundred West Wheeler Avenue. And you're going to see
all of the jeeps along with our flex ramp that
we're going to have there, So flex your jeep.

So okay, Now, where can people get tickets for this?

They go to gypsy Stock, dyp si, e z dot com. Right.

We got to make sure we spell that right because
then if you might go to a if you type

Okay. So jeep Infest it's happening this weekend now, is

Yeah, just on August third, because we wanted our jeepers
that are coming from all over the state. We have
them come in from North Texas, San Antonio, Houston, Austin,
all over, and we wanted them to have that extra
day to go jeep on the beach because we're only
five minutes away from Poor Day and they Pins is
like thirty minutes away. Wow, and Pins is amazing to

drive into the end then back.

Now it's gonna.

Take you several hours in your jeep. But it's fun
and take extra gas.
