Getting Emergency Care at Non-VA Facilities
For veterans enrolled in VA Healthcare who experience unexpected hospitalization in a non-VA hospital, you or a family member must notify the VA within 72 hours after arrival in the emergency room by calling 844-724- 7842. Click on this link for complete details.
