Speaker 1 (00:16):
Hello everyone, and welcome on into week six. We're already
close to the halfway mark of the college football season.
It goes by fast, so enjoy it every week you can.
And when you're with this group of three college football gamblers,
except for a certain pick that happens last week, you
usually end up a winner. If you listen to this show.
(00:36):
My name is Joe Tanzy, alongside Ryan Beef Coyle and
Mark Henry Junior. Guys, the game of the Year happened
on Saturday. We're not talking about Mark Henry's betts. We're
talking about just Georgia and Alabama in general. Let's start there,
because not only did this thing shake up the playoff race,
(00:57):
also shook up the Heisman race as well, and we
every week kind of do a stock up stock down
on the playoff and the Heisman. I think we need
to get right into it, maybe that with the Heisman
this week, because I think there's only three guys who's
stock really moved, and that's Jaylen Milroe, Travis Hunter, and
then Carson Beck on the other side. But in terms
(01:17):
of the playoff, now, this makes things a lot interesting,
doesn't it.
Speaker 2 (01:23):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
I mean Alabama comes out and I left the bar
and they were up I think three touchdowns.
Speaker 2 (01:30):
And I walked home and I walked into my.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
Sister's apartment, and I was a pretty shell shocked to
what was going on.
Speaker 2 (01:37):
But Alabama, I think, I.
Speaker 3 (01:40):
Mean I had them winning the game last week, but
it still doesn't really change my total opinion of them.
I mean, we saw kind of at their high what
they can be and what they could look like. But
then they took their foot off the gas a little bit,
got a little bit cute and let Georgia come back
into it. They still have tough games to go in
the SEC. I had this pegged as a win because
of playing simple homefield of Vanna, which is why I
kind of gave them the nod and the quarterback play.
(02:03):
So my overall opinion of Alabama doesn't really change, just Georgia.
My stance on Georgia coming into the year was I
thought there are three hardest games. We're all on the
road at Alabama, at Texas, and at Old Miss.
Speaker 2 (02:14):
That's not changing. Even with Ole Miss loss last week.
Speaker 3 (02:17):
I still think that's going to be a tough game
because that's pretty much the ole Miss super Bowl this year.
So I don't think really I have a disparaging opinion
on either one of these squads, but I think it
was a little bit of like kind of self vindication
of what Alabama can be and Jaln Milroe looked like
the best player in the country.
Speaker 1 (02:34):
Let's throw all miss into the conversation too, because if
that was a brutal loss to Kentucky. So we sat
here last week talking about the SEC and I threw
I think it was six teams out there, so now
down to five, Like, let's be honest here, ole miss
h when you're in that congested of a bubble in
the SEC, you can't lose that game. Now. Look, I
(02:57):
get it, if they somehow miraculously beat Georgia, which I
don't think any of us see happening, maybe they get
back into the mix. But I think right now, Georgia, Bama, Texas, Tennessee,
question Mark, Missouri are kind of where we stand with
with the SEC. But the top four is kind of
like a firm lock four.
Speaker 4 (03:18):
Mark. I'm not like the Florida State guy. I will
eat the crap and we'll talk about in a second
the Georgia, Georgia, Alabama. But you don't so sorry you
think ole Miss if they lose to Georgia. You don't
think ten and two ole Miss gets in.
Speaker 1 (03:32):
Not with a loss to Kentucky at home.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Yeah, goes wrestle away.
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Right, Yeah, it's all it's all situational too, right, Because
well I could sit here for hours and talk about
playoffs scenarios. But if you're four in firm lockstep, here
are Texas, Georgia, Bama, Tennessee from the SEC right, the
Big Twelve. The Big Twelve keeps knocking itself out right, Okay,
you know Utah loseing, big deal.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
So look, Big twelve in the Big Twelve, in the
eighth C are getting two bits. They're not getting an antlog.
Maybe Clemson.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
I think Clemson.
Speaker 4 (04:12):
Maybe Clemson. If Clemson wins out and loses to Miami
in the a CEC Championship, I think that's the only
scenario I can see the a CEC or the Big
Twelve getting a third team in.
Speaker 1 (04:22):
I would right now pencil in let's say Clemson as
the third team of that group, and then Miami and
k State. Basic.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
However, right in winter, you don't even have to say
it is Iowa sta u Yu.
Speaker 1 (04:39):
It's gonna be I think we said it was gonna
be a chaotic conference. I don't think we expected, Yeah,
I don't think we expected this type of chaos with
the Big twelve. But then the Big the Big ten
hasn't sort of itself out yet. That's the thing, and
it will. But you have Oregon, Ohio State, Penn State,
USC and Michigan or are still in the mix. So look,
(05:02):
if if we're sitting at four and four four sec
four Big ten, then we have Miami. We have entered
Big twelve winner here, that's ten. You have your G
five team, which I get it's got to be either
boys or UNLV at this point. And then that mystery
spot right, And I think that's kind of does it
(05:25):
all play itself out like we're usually we say it
it all will play itself out, right, because with the
four team it usually got down the six and at
maybe five and sometimes even four. But I think in
this case with the twelve, I think it's gonna figure
itself out. But I think when you look at Georgia
and Bama, I don't think they're they're missing the playoffs
(05:48):
either of them. At this point.
Speaker 4 (05:49):
We might have to fact they're in a certain team
coached by a man named Coach six into this conversation
as well. They might be eleven and one. I mean,
Big ten kind of shaping up nicely. If you look
at who has to play each other, like you don't
have to see like Oregon and Penn State don't play
each other. I don't think. I don't think Oregon has
(06:12):
to play USC.
Speaker 1 (06:13):
AM I wrong on that they have to play or I.
Speaker 2 (06:17):
Know they play Michigan.
Speaker 4 (06:19):
Yeah, I think they play Michigan, Ohio State. I don't
think they play USC. I think it plays out that
a couple of the Big ten teams avoid each other,
whereas it feels like in the SEC, everybody's touching each other.
Like Tennessee plays Bama and Georgia. You look at Texas
plays Georgia, still coming up here like it just feels
like the SEC has more opportunity to knock itself out
(06:41):
a little bit more than it feels like. The Big
ten's kind of the big winners I guess of Notre Dame,
the ACC and the Big twelve throwing up all over
themselves at different points this year.
Speaker 1 (06:52):
I hate to mention them, but I know, I know
you despise I know, but I told you a few
weeks ago where we were at where we were gonna
lie here. Notre Dame keeps winning. And if we're looking
at four spots on each SEC and Big ten, the
(07:13):
ACC's eliminited itself in week one. The Big twelve essentially
limited itself last week from at large spots. You're telling
me if the twelfth team or eleventh team, we won't
call it because the twelfth team is the G five team.
You're telling me if the playoff committee sees one loss,
(07:33):
Notre Dame just sitting there at like thirteen or fourteen
and the eight people that they don't say, hey, you're
the eleven seed, go play somewhere in the South and
good luck.
Speaker 4 (07:45):
I think it depends how Louisville A and M and
USC all kind of end up this year. If assuming
they would win a USC game, it would be fun
if Notre Dame USC was like a potential playoff matchup
in that last week of the year into the playoff.
USC's got a pretty tough schedule before then, so we'll
see if they can get to that point. But yeah,
(08:06):
that's I did not think they were gonna beat Louisville.
I was legitimately shocked to see them beat Louisville. It
feel like it felt like they were trying to give
the way, giveaway the game at multiple points there, but
they figured out a way to win real quick. I'll
just rewind because I didn't talk about.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
No I'll see you up. Don't work, all right, I'll
see you up.
Speaker 3 (08:26):
We're just one fifteen now though, to make it after
the NAU game was Yeah, after the NAU game was
plus three sixty. So I think it just goes to
show you what we were talking about any week. I mean,
no one had Kentucky winning last week. No one had
ANU beating Notre Dame. I mean, there's gonna be there's
gonna be a game this week. Well, I mean we'll
probably talk about it at some point, but Washington is a
(08:48):
three point favorite at home over number ten Michigan, and
number ten Michigan's right there in the playoff picture. Playoff
talk again after we completely wrote them off after Texas,
But how sustainable really is that offense going forward?
Speaker 1 (09:01):
And another note, like we completely wrote off Clemson, right,
we said straight up after week one, and in the
back of my mind, I'm like, we're not We're I
don't think I said this outwardly, but in the back
of my mind, I'm like, oh no, we're we're doing
this wrong because Clemson's done this before, where they embarrassed
themselves in Week one on national TV and then just
(09:24):
not in this fashion. They've dog walked a bunch of teams,
and I don't think we've seen them this version of
Clemson in the last few years. But all of a sudden,
like if if that touchdown is actually a touchdown at
the end of the VA Tech Miami game on Friday night,
Dabo's wake up Saturday morning being like I'm I'm the
(09:45):
King of the acc again. I had a tweet ready
for it because I'm like, wait a second, We've we've
not talked about Clemson, and I think not talking about
Dabo is a good thing. I think the less Dabbo
we have in our lives, the best better. And in November,
I'll be okay with talking about him. But he's he's
(10:05):
kind of gotten really insufferable.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
I think we thought that their schedule was going to
be harder. Like app State, we thought it was going
to be better. NC State we thought was going to
be better. Obviously at Florida State, we thought it was
going to be a much tougher game.
Speaker 1 (10:18):
I think we thought the entire I mean, look, this
is a and we'll get to this week's games, but yeah,
Clemson Florida State. At the beginning of the year, we
circled this game, this this is supposed to be the
premieer game of the week. Florida State just lost by
twenty plus points on the road to SMU and Clemson's
what a fourteen and a half point favorite. Now, Like
(10:39):
it's insane to think, like what our expectations were versus
the reality of the situation. It really is just insane.
Speaker 4 (10:48):
We thought a late season trip to Blacksburg for Virginia
Tech was going to be very tougher for Clemson.
Speaker 1 (10:53):
Too, although I think Tech vo Tech. Yeah, yeah, they
got off the mat on Friday. Now, whether that was
just for Miami TVD.
Speaker 3 (11:02):
It's funny though, the line I think opened that minus
eighteen for Clemson this weekend since Dju sounds like he's
out but he has the injury. Now it's now moved
down with points in clem since Floria State's favor That
just goes to show you what the difference between Dju
and freaking.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Brock Glenn is in the minds of ve Guess and
how bad DJ's been.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
So yeah, so let's let's get to it. I know
we hinted at the start. Look, look I saw it
with Georgia, but I wasn't as big of a Georgia
guy as Mark. So let's talk about maybe not the
game because a lot of it have a lot has
been made about the game already. But Georgia where they
stand right now, they're gonna look, they're gonna beat Auburn's
(11:47):
ass on Saturday. I would I would hammer the twenty
three and a half. I don't really care what you
think about either team. I think they've all burned in
Mississippi State back to back. They're gonna win those games
by thirty plus. We're not gonna learn a damn thing
about them. So what does Georgia need do to get
ready for this second half of the season and be
(12:11):
ready for this content that they're going to play? And
what from Saturday Mark either impresses you or not? First
half obviously not the second half? Yes, what about the
performance on Saturday either makes you really concerned or makes
you believe in them to get back in the playoff
(12:32):
and even the SEC title race at this point.
Speaker 4 (12:35):
At this point, I don't know why anyone would want
to hear my opinion. I think it was pretty concerning
to see the way Jalen Milroe ran all over them.
They actually stopped the running game from the running backs
pretty well. But there are a lot of mobile quarterbacks
and the top teams this year. I mean, looking around
the SEC, like Jackson Dark can move, Nico can move,
(12:55):
even viewers can move to a certain degree. Obviously none
of them to Millroe's degree, but that something that the
other teams will probably be copying against Georgia getting their
quarterback with the ball in his hands, So that's something
to point out. But I think it's more funny to
talk about the story of the game. I funny enough,
like Beef knows this because he asked me before. Who
(13:16):
I Because last week I was pumping two bets all
week long and it was the Cowboys on Thursday night
and Georgia on Saturday. And I had Cowboys minus four
and a half when the line up.
Speaker 1 (13:26):
So you at least got that one in.
Speaker 4 (13:28):
I got that in, and so that was gonna be
the initial game of the year. I was like, I
was gonna go double game of the year, but Dallas
was my favorite one at minus four and a half.
That line ended up moving to six six and a half,
and I kind of felt bad being like game of
the year even though I have minus four and a
half from Monday and it's six six and a half.
I bet it like it was a game of the year,
but I didn't call it like that and didn't have
(13:51):
people disagreeing with me on it, so I wasn't as
vocal about it. But that cash is I go six
and two on Saturday. Outside of the Georgia game. Sunday
goes around. I had the best Sunday of my life
gambling on the NFL, and I'm sitting here like with
my like uh in the GIA team, trying to answer
for my eleven unit loser. But yeah, it's I was
(14:13):
totally wrong. I really underestimated Ryan Williams above everything. I mean,
the guys remember that. Yeah, yeah, it's the new imbape.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
It it's the It's the new Matt Stafford and Clayton
Kershel Did you know together?
Speaker 4 (14:30):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:32):
Did you did you know?
Speaker 4 (14:33):
Matt?
Speaker 1 (14:33):
Did you go Matt? Ryan went to school in Philadelphia?
Speaker 2 (14:36):
Yeah?
Speaker 1 (14:37):
That used to be overused too.
Speaker 4 (14:39):
That's a good one there too. But yeah, Ryan Williams
was incredible. The biggest takeaway from the weekend is, oh,
my god, Ryan Williams and Jeremiah Smith are going to
be the greatest wide receivers of all time in three
years when they get to the NFL. Like it's unbelievable.
Speaker 1 (14:54):
How good.
Speaker 4 (14:55):
Obviously Ryan Williams in the big game, but Jeremiah Smith
even looks like more of like an NFL body almost
than Williams. Like Williams is probably more like electric, whereas
Smith is like the Marvin Harrison junior type, where it's
just like, oh, that guy's like polished. That's an NFL
wide receiver right now at age eighteen, it's crazy to
see both of them as good as they are so young.
Speaker 1 (15:17):
So does Georgia end up making the playoff?
Speaker 4 (15:20):
I lean yes, but it's tough. They put themselves in
a big hole here. I mean, their schedule is so
hard that maybe you could get a nine and three
Georgia into the playoff if things fall right. I do
know someone was talking about, like the last couple of years,
if you looked at the top twelve, there'd be some
nine and three teams getting in. If you look at
(15:42):
that eleven maybe that ten seed over the last couple
of years. I think Arizona was pretty close last year
to that number at nine and three. So yeah, it's
gonna depend how it plays out. Are there more kind
of two loss and less teams with the way that
the playoff kind of incentivizes teams to say motivated late
in the year, And that's gonna be kind of the
interesting part. And that's what we don't know right now.
(16:05):
But I lean yes, but I certainly wouldn't bet it
either way.
Speaker 2 (16:09):
It's yes right now plus two twenty four.
Speaker 4 (16:12):
No, I'm surprised that's that low, but yeah, it makes.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
I mean, look, you could take a shot in the
know and say, look, I'm not I wasn't impressed with
their start against Bam and they starting and even their
start against Kentucky, Like, I think you could build enough
of a case where you could say.
Speaker 4 (16:26):
No, absolutely, you could definitely build the case. I will say,
I do think they'll beat Ole Miss. That Ole Miss game.
The biggest problem with that game is that it really
felt like they got dominated in the trenches, and that
was kind of the big Everyone told us that Ole
Miss got all these transfers in, and they're not only
just this skill position, run and shoot lane kiffing team,
(16:47):
but now they actually have the sec lines. Didn't look
like it against Kentucky, and Kentucky's not Georgia. So that's
where I think Georgia probably wins that one. And if
you win that one, that's a pretty marquee win probably,
So it's gonna be interesting.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
Beef all to you up for this one. So the
Heisman odds have shifted greatly since we last spoke. Jalen
Milro is the favorite of Drafticking sports Book a plus
two fifty, understandably so, cam Ward second favorite at plus
five hundred, Travis Hunter now third at plus seven hundred,
and Ashton john Ty, the running back from Boise State,
(17:25):
is plus thousand. The only three names below two thousand
that I didn't mention we're Dylan Gabriel at plus fourteen
hundred and we haven't seen much of him yet, Nico
from Tennessee at plus fifteen hundred, we'll see more of
him as the season goes on, and Jackson Dart at
plus sixteen hundred. For all miss, I think that ship
kind of sailed. But when you look at the heis
(17:47):
And race right now and how it's shaping up, Beef,
what's the what's the approach? I know we're sitting two
of you are sitting here with Nico tickets, so I
will preface it by that. But now that mill Roe's
the favorite and a pretty clear favorite, how would you
approach if you were dipping into the heisant market this week?
How would you approach it?
Speaker 3 (18:08):
I mean, this is just such an like an EBB
and flip thing, Like I don't like to take the
Heisman during the season because I remember, I want to
say it was Week five or week six last year
JJ McCarthy was the favorite to win the Heisman, Like
this can change so much. Jaylen Milroe could go out
there and have a terrible game in a couple of
weeks against Tennessee, costing the game in nico autdulism. Nico's
then jumping him to be the Heisman there at you know,
(18:29):
instead of fifteen to one plus two fifty. There's no
reason at all to put any money on jayaln Milroe
at plus two to fifty right now because he's going
to drop below that, no doubt about it, at some
point this season. Someone else is going to most likely
take over, whether you know Cam Moore goes out there
and has a great week against Cal, lights it up
four hundred yards, four touchdowns. Milroe has a more reserve
(18:50):
game against Vandy this week and kind of, you know,
a fallback type spot they could flip this week. I mean,
it's such just an up and down thing.
Speaker 1 (18:58):
I disagree with that. I think he's got probably a
two week cushion for the favorite. Because I'll preface this
by saying this, Miami's playing Cal this weekend at ten thirty.
Mil Roe's gonna have al that Nobody's me watching. I
see what you're saying. Still Miami at Cal. I think
(19:21):
I think Milroe and Ward will flip at some point
if Miami keeps winning. But I think Milroe's got him
at least for this week. I think he's got a
cushion because he's got the best win on the board.
Speaker 2 (19:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (19:33):
I mean, that's definitely the Heisman moment. It's also the
you know, the moment that's living in everyone's head now.
If this game, I think I said this last week
on the show, if that game was week eleven, week twelve,
or whatever instead of Week four, that's like your defining
Heisman winning game. I'm not saying that this performance is
gonna go forgotten, but as the season goes on and
as we I mean, that was really the first big
(19:55):
week a conference play last week. You're gonna have much
or not much bigger games, but games down the line
with some of these top guys having the opportunity to
have their own Heisman moment. I mean, last year was
such a crazy race between Nick Daniels Daniels at I mean,
I think with three weeks to go was over ten
to one to win it. It was looking like Nix and
Pennox type race. Travis Hunter continues to get built up.
(20:18):
Great performance last week and John t is what he's
doing sustainable right now nine hundred and eighty five yards
and I don't think it's that sustainable at this pace.
And also Mark has said a couple of times, are
you really going to give the award to the running
back out of Boise, Idaho or the quarterback at Alabama
(20:38):
or Miami.
Speaker 1 (20:39):
If ashion John Ty played at net SEC or Big
ten school and put up these.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
Not putting these numbers up, sure, but.
Speaker 1 (20:49):
I mean if you if you plugged him into Ole
Missus offense for just taking an example of a really
soft non con if you plugged him into old Missus offense,
the numbers are probably similar because Judkins had a huge
year last year and it's not like they just completely
abandoned the run. They have no problem running ball. I
(21:11):
think it's situational. I'm not saying it at like every
SEC or Big ten school, but if those if those
numbers have an SEC or Big ten program attached to it,
he's the prohibitive favorite. And I don't think it's it's
very close at this point.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
So this is not from a gambling standpoint or a
who's going to win standpoint. There should be no conversation
to me about who deserves to win right now, and
it's Ashton john T. He's on pace for two thousand,
seven hundred and forty seven rushing yards with forty two touchdowns.
(21:48):
Like is it sustainable? Probably not, But while he's doing this,
I think it should like not even be a conversation.
You look, and maybe it's because I'm such a stat nerd,
but you look at the rushing charts right now for
the NCAA. He's almost two hundred yards in front of
anybody else, he's only played four games. There's a ton
(22:10):
of guys who have played five.
Speaker 2 (22:11):
And he only played half of the Portland State game too.
Speaker 5 (22:14):
It's it's insane and like this week he had two
hundred and ninety two hundred and sixty seven or no,
I'm sorry, that's the first game, two hundred and fifty
nine rushing yards, two hundred and sixty six total yards.
Speaker 4 (22:29):
Nobody talked about it because he played Washington State. He
plays on the blue field. It was at ten thirty.
I went to bed at halftime with the Georgia Alabama
game and missed ball show, let alone the blue field.
Ten to thirty games. By the way, cash that boys
he bet. But Ashton john Ty, it's unbelievable what he's
doing right now. And I would normally I think have
the opinion like yeah, but it's at Boise. He ran
(22:52):
for one hundred and ninety two yards in three touchdowns
against Oregon and lost by a field goal on the road.
Like it's not like a only been Georgia Southern im
Portland's thin and Washington State they're a legitimate team, like
they're not there are a solid program still, so he
said two legitimate teams that he's put up numbers like
this against, and I'm just there's not enough people talking
(23:16):
about it.
Speaker 1 (23:16):
I think if you were to give me a power ranking,
say if you're like a weekly Heisman power ranking, I
would put Jalen Milroe, Ashton john T and Travis Hunter
in the top three.
Speaker 4 (23:28):
I don't think most would put johnt And that goes again,
like right, everything I just said. I don't think he
will even get an invite to New York.
Speaker 1 (23:36):
Honestly, he might depending on what the numbers end up being.
So it's a long season, and the fact that he's
fourth on the odds board at least says something that
the odds makers are paying attention to it. But I
think if you were to you know, and this is
this is strictly based off of performances through September. Yes,
cam Ward has has put up a lot of numbers,
(23:57):
but in terms of like things that impressed me, Jayalen
Mill has the best win on the board against Georgia
and played really well in that game. Travis Hunter is
the best player in college football, hands down, hands down
is the best, the most talented player in college football,
and he's making an impact every week at Colorado. Now,
whether Colorado's success is sustainable, we don't know, because no
(24:22):
one expected them to beat UCF the way they did.
But no one's expected anything that's happened in the Big
twelve so far. And then you have Ashton Johnson who's
putting up video game numbers. Now this will change, hands down.
It's October. First, things will change across the board in
Heisman race. But right now, if you were to if
(24:43):
you were to ask me my top three, it's probably
Milroe won, and then a really tight race for two
between john Ty and Hunter, and cam Ward's probably in
my number four only because I have these three specific
things that stick out in my head. With the first three,
the Millroe.
Speaker 4 (25:01):
Thinks tough for me. I sound like a hater obviously,
but I he's a fifty seventh in passing, like I
understand he only played fours on play five and he
adds a lot on the ground as well. But it's
just tough for me. Like stat wise, I will just
say Jackson Dart's not out of it. I do think
as I just said, like I think George is gonna
beat them, so probably that and like take him out
of it. But they his stats. Even in that game
(25:24):
he put up like two sixty in a touchdown, didn't
throw a pick, like, he didn't tank his stats. His
stats at the end of the year, he's got eighteen
hundred yards through five games. Like we're gonna look up
and he's gonna have like forty five hundred yards.
Speaker 3 (25:36):
Oh sure, yeah, he's I think he has. If you're
gonna look at like the quarterbacks from last year, not
like with Jayden Daniels having multiple losses, Jackson dart is
the player I could see fitting into that you have
most rather than you know, a winning quarterback in this
connect In this scenario, bo Nicks is like h Jalen Milroe.
(25:59):
Cam Ward is like Michael Pennix from last year, like
similar where those two teams might be undefeated one loss teams,
but Jackson Darwin's up putting up better numbers only has
two losses. I think that's kind of your discussion towards
the end, and who knows, maybe Quinn Rris gets back in.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
The discussion as well.
Speaker 3 (26:14):
But that's I think a conversation for next week starting
with you know, the best week of the season.
Speaker 4 (26:20):
I don't think that I said this last week, but
I don't think there's any chance he gets back in.
Speaker 1 (26:24):
I'd like to plant this flag in case this team
continues to win. Kate klub nick as has sim intrigued.
Speaker 2 (26:31):
To him, please know I'll be all over.
Speaker 1 (26:36):
As as crazy as that sounds. If Clemson's there, his
odds little drop, And look, Jill's got a chance. We
haven't talked about Penn State whatsoever, but they've got a
big game against against USC in two weeks that might
put him on the spotlight too. Like we never know
how these big games are going to play out. But
if you're kind of projecting for teams that really haven't
(26:58):
been in the spot but yet hasn't been in the
spotlight since week one and probably won't be for another
few weeks, because as far as state teams means absolutely nothing.
And then Penn State next week. I mean, look, they're
gonna play UCLA this week, and I'll transition here into
the bets because it's James Franklin Hammer time here. But
(27:21):
if Aler plays well against UCLA and then plays well
in national stage against USC, he'll trickle himself into the conversation,
not saying he's gonna win it, but there are a
few guys sitting at plus twenty five hundred or higher
that will make themselves known by the end of October.
That's all I'll say with that, Let's move on to
(27:43):
Week six. Look, the card isn't intriguing, but that's where
we make the most of our money. Like I already
hinted at the one game I'm really honed in on
with Penn State only a four touchdown favorite against UCLA. Look,
there aren't many big games on the schedule. Game days
going to Cal for Miami Cal, which cool, they're just
(28:05):
doing something different because there's no marquee games. But there
is a rank game Missouri and Texas A and M
and I guess we'll start there. A. M's a two
point favorite home. The Zoo hasn't impressed whatsoever this season,
struggled against Vanderbilt last time out. How does this game
(28:25):
end up playing out?
Speaker 3 (28:27):
Guys, I don't have like a feel on the winner yet.
It definitely reminds me a lot of the spot with
notre game going to there, and we know how that
wound up going. I would probably I mean, I have
it on my car right now. I haven't bet it yet,
but under forty eight and a half. I think every
game that Texas A and M plays in against a
quality opponent is going to be I thought last week
(28:49):
had the potential to be a track meet against Arkansas,
and it was fourteen to seven I think five minutes
in and.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
The game things slowed down so fast the.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
Game went on there.
Speaker 3 (28:57):
I think, especially at home, if Texas A name is
able to kind of control the clock in all scenarios
are going to want to play. The under reminds me
kind of Missoo BC from a few weeks ago that
wound up going under. I could see this being, you know,
pretty close to the total, like a twenty four to
twenty type game.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
I don't have a feel for the winner right now.
Speaker 3 (29:16):
I don't want to trust Texas A and M with
my money, and Missoo hasn't looked good enough for me yet.
But this is a huge spot for this Missouri team,
who I think has a better a better chance at
the end of the day to make the playoff than
Texas A and M. You gotta win this one because
you still have Alabama, and I think if you're a
two lost Missouri, I don't think you're going to be
getting in with the rest of that schedule that they
have Mark.
Speaker 1 (29:36):
We talked about the game a little bit earlier, just
off of reference because the line is so confounding. Number
ten Michigan is on the road at Washington. It is
a two and a half point dog. The over under
is forty one and a half. Make this make sense
to me?
Speaker 4 (29:54):
I So I do want to get back to that
Missouri game, but I think it's you know, they watched
the Minnesota game, and they watched the USC. If USC
would have just committed to stopping the run and not
worried about the pass at all and loaded the box
a little bit more, I think that game probably goes differently.
And there's obviously a pick six that swung that game
that they only ended up winning by three as well.
(30:16):
So I think that's what they're looking at. The two
straight weeks winning by three. I think they probably think
it's not sustainable traveling across the country. I wouldn't bet
it either way, but I think if I was I
would bet Washington. I thought there was a chance Washington
would be better than kind of how we were pegging
them coming into the year, and I guess that they
did go on the road and they took care of
(30:38):
business against Northwestern. They didn't look terrible at Rutgers they
lost by a field goal. Even their bad loss against
Washington State, if Jeed Fish doesn't make a terrible play
call at the end of the game, they might win
the game. So it's hard to know what to make
a Washington right now. That's why it's kind of hard
to even have a take on the game. But Vegas
is telling you something. I would have said that last
week with UCF being like a fifteen point favorite against
(31:01):
Colorado and then they lost by a billion, So who knows.
But with Missouri, that's one of my favorite. The closer
we get, the more I like Missouri. It just feels like, yeah,
they haven't looked great, but they've probably been gearing up
for this exact game with kind of a little worry
about losing the first four. The last two got a
little dice here. They did get two weeks off, whereas
(31:21):
A and M kind of had to fight for their
life last week against Arkansas in a game that went
down to the wire, Missouri's had the chance to prepare
for A and M for two weeks. I do think
Drinkwitz is a good offensive coach. I think we'll have
a pretty good game plan here. I just think that
you look at Texas A and M. They've lost six
straight ranked matchups dating back to last year. They're three
(31:42):
and eleven as a ranked team at home playing a
higher ranked team. They just don't really come through in
these spots. It feels like, unless it's Alabama, feels like
the only times A and M does come through in
these spots, it's against Bama. But I like Missouri a
lot in this game, and the closer we get, it's
kind of creeping up my favorite list on the weekend.
Speaker 1 (32:02):
You've talked to me a little bit about Michigan because
if you look at their schedule, man, it is a
it's a gauntlet. Now that we know how the Big
ten's playing out. They're at Washington this week, so it
actually kind of turns into a quasi must win for
them because their final six games, four of them are
against teams currently in the top twenty five. They have
(32:24):
to go to Illinois to go to Indiana, which is
proving to be a pretty difficult game. They have Ohio
State at the end of the season, and they host
Oregon at the start of November. That's shaping up to
be four pretty tough games, and you have the rivalry
game with Michigan State mixed in. Northwestern is really the
only easy, easy game after this. So what do you
(32:44):
make of Michigan right now? And I hate calling games
must win in October, but it kind of feels like one,
doesn't it.
Speaker 3 (32:52):
Yeah, it's funny when you look at it and see
Michigan number ten next to their name, and then you
go look on DraftKings they are plus eight hundred to
make the playoff and minus sixteen hundred to miss it.
That just kind of goes to show you what Vegas
thinks of them going forward. And I think that's obviously
indicated in the line this week. I heard a good
point today and they were saying, like, when you look
(33:14):
at the Washington coaching staff, that's a staff full of
NFL guys. You don't think they're gonna be able to
easily decipher this one dimensional Michigan run offense. I mean,
they're probably gonna have a good game plan cooked up.
And I know going into last week before the Rutgers game,
I'm not sure if it continued after, but Washington was
the best tackling team in the country, Like percentage of
(33:35):
misstackles was the lowest out of anyone. You're gonna have
to make Key sound fundamental tackles against his Michigan team
because they're just gonna come at you and run the
ball and run the ball and run the ball. Washington
seems like a good team suited to do that. Washington State, though,
ran over them a little bit, especially with the quarterback,
the white guy hater I think is his last name
(33:56):
or Matier out Yeah name escaping me, But that might
be some of them that Michigan looks to do a
lot with Orgy this week and run the football with him.
Speaker 2 (34:06):
But I really think the under has got to be
a play in that one.
Speaker 3 (34:08):
I think it's going to be a slug fest a
lot like it was last week for Washington against Rutgers.
But yeah, Michigan gauntlet of a schedule coming up, and
I think that minus sixteen hundred to miss the playoff
right now goes to show you just everything you need
to know about the rest of their season.
Speaker 1 (34:24):
So we're at the point of the season where we
have enough at least of a sample size on certain
teams where we know who's bad and we know who's
really kind of put themselves out of the playoff picture
of Florida State, I'm talking about Oklahoma State, A bunch
of these teams that have disappointed. There's a bunch of
teams also, especially in the Big Ten, I think as
(34:45):
the highest concentration of these teams that our surprising teams
have come out of nowhere and now are at least
in the conversation nationally, not saying playoff wise, but now
in a week like this where there aren't many marquee games,
there's a few more eyeballs on them. And starting with
our our favorite team to bet on, Coach sig and
(35:07):
the Indiana Hoosiers. I just kind of want to run
through a few of these games with teams that we
haven't talked too much about or are starting on the
rise here. And Indiana is front and center and leading
that group. They're a thirteen and a half point favorite
against Northwestern this week. Is this the Is this the
(35:31):
end of it? Like this feels like the prototypical Big
Ten spot, Like it makes absolutely no sense that Northwestern
wins or even as close in this game? Am I think?
Am I overthinking? This is basically what I'm asking I think.
Speaker 3 (35:46):
You are I'm going to continue to bet Indiana against
the spread until they give me a reason otherwise they're
they're just looking like a good football team, playing and simple,
and you know, if it's it's not broke, don't fix it.
I'm just gonna continue ride in Indiana to keep it
playing simple with that.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
Mark a few frozen. Oh we're mute. Oh he's muted.
Hold on, that was my bad.
Speaker 4 (36:12):
That's rookie stuff from me. I agree with everything Beef said,
so I don't have much to add. I'm smoking on
that coach six pack. You after all get that shirt.
We have to get the shirt, Joe b.
Speaker 1 (36:24):
It is. It is pretty impressive. A team I mentioned
last week in the Big twelve Iowa State that look,
they certainly weren't impressive against Houston. Think it was twenty
twenty nothing or twenty one nothing. They just kind of
grinded that result out. But they're facing a team in
(36:45):
Baylor where they are, let me get it up, twelve
point favorite. Is this a team where we just keep
running with them as well? I know we don't have
some Matt Campbell enthusias here in the in the building,
but it seems like they're just they just keep winning.
(37:06):
You guys have any thoughts on them on taking them
to twelve against Baylor, Yeah.
Speaker 3 (37:12):
Not on my card this week. I don't have anything
in that one. But I was stayed. I mean I
put out my I guess playoff projections as of today,
and I have I stayed as my my Big twelve representative.
I think they have a pretty easy schedule, but we've
said that at about a lot of other teams, and
there could be a fall flat spot obviously in there
at some point. But I have them going eleven and
oh until they meet up with Kansas State in week twelve.
(37:35):
I think that's or their twelfth game of the season.
So I mean, that could be an interesting team if
we see IA State in the first twelve team college
football playoff.
Speaker 2 (37:44):
I don't think many people would have pegged that.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
One to two years ago when it looked like Matt
Campbell kind of situation was going downhill there.
Speaker 1 (37:51):
I don't even think they're good.
Speaker 4 (37:54):
They might go eleven and oh or eleven and one
or twelve and no, Like, I don't even think they're good.
They beating They beat North Dakota twenty one to three,
Like they beat Iowa by one and I know that's
a rivalry game.
Speaker 1 (38:05):
I get it.
Speaker 4 (38:05):
But like even Houston, I get they want twenty to nothing.
Houston's but bad. Like I, I'm not impressed by Iowa State.
They might win twelve, like the Big Twell is terrible.
I don't know. I was trying to throw support behind
UCF before last week and look at them like I
just I hesitate to say anything definitive about.
Speaker 2 (38:28):
The Big twelve.
Speaker 1 (38:29):
So well, on that note, let's talk about some of
the bets we have for this week, guys, because it
is one of those weeks where some of the favorites
or some of the teams that we expect to see
on the big stage aren't you know, just it's one
of those blog kind of weeks when you have the schedule.
Is there anything I guess in the crumbs if we
(38:52):
want to call it that Navy Air Force over under
thirty five, the Service Academy unders in play something along
those lines for weeks week six that either of you
may have your eyes on.
Speaker 4 (39:05):
If I won't go to my favorite bet yet, I'll
go to the money in the crumbs one. But Hawaii
San Diego State under fifty and a half. I was
looking at that. If you look so far at San
Diego State's games, they have had really really low scoring games,
one in three or three and one to the under.
Hawaii is four and oh to the under so far
(39:27):
this year. And you look at San Diego State twenty
two to twenty one last week in Central Michigan going
pretty far under, thirty one to ten. They put up
zero against the Oregon State. It's just I think that
these offenses are pretty terrible. You look at the leading
rusher for Hawaii, it's got one hundred and twelve yards.
It's they've played, they've played four games. He's averaging like
(39:48):
thirty yards a game. He's their leading rusher. San Diego
State They're leading passer has five hundred and sixty seven yards.
Like they're throwing for like one hundred and twenty passing
yards a game.
Speaker 2 (39:58):
Like.
Speaker 4 (39:59):
It's just these are not good offenses. So money in
the crumbs spot there at eight o'clock on good old CBSSN.
But I like the under there in a white San
Diego State rip to the Mountain West.
Speaker 1 (40:10):
I will I will drop one for you because I
faded this team last week, and who, buddy, are they
potentially very bad and that's UAB Tulane. Tulane is a
wagon and John Sumroll, coming from Troy, has come in
and worked wonders there. I think we all sat here
(40:31):
last Tuesday thinking that USF had a little bit of
a chance. In New Orleans last week, they had no
chance whatsoever. That game was over by probably the first quarter.
And you can say the exact same thing about UAB
against Navy. Navy just ran them off the field literally
play corback. By the way, if we're talking about like Heisman,
(40:52):
like if if the season ended today, I put him
in the top ten. I'm not saying put him in
the top four, but he somebody out there would put
him in there. Tulane just ran through USF forty five
to ten. UiB is a much worse team, and uab's
defense has not been good. In three games against FBS opponents,
(41:14):
they lost thirty two to six to Louisiana Monroe, they
gave up thirty seven to Arkansas and then forty one
to Navy, even beaten every which way up and down
the field. I think Tulane minus fifteen is a steal.
Speaker 4 (41:28):
And did you see Trent Dilfer, UAV's coach at the
press conference. His kid was crying and he's like, bring
him up here. It's not like this Alabama or anything.
It's like, oh my god, what a weirdo, what a
loser Trent Dolt.
Speaker 1 (41:41):
That was such a horrible hire in the first place.
Speaker 4 (41:43):
The best quote in television history is you can't win
games in the NFL by losing them. That's a famous
Trent Dilfer line there. I think it's a prophetic.
Speaker 1 (41:54):
It makes you think, doesn't it It really does.
Speaker 4 (41:57):
Can I ask you guys a question, why is Georgia
Tech a nine point favorite against air right now, against anyone? Why?
Why do we think Georgia Tech is good? Do we
think they're good because they won by three against Florida
State a month like a month and a half ago.
Now do we think they're good because they beat v
(42:18):
M I or Georgia State? Like the two times they've
played real opponents in the last four weeks. They lost
by twelve to Louisville they didn't cover, and they lost
by They lost at Syracuse as a home as a favorite,
and they didn't cover, so obviously they lost out right.
I don't get why Georgia Tech is a nine point favorite.
Speaker 1 (42:37):
Against Duke.
Speaker 4 (42:37):
I'm not telling you Duke's great. I get it might
be a little bit of a sucker spucks. I think
a lot of suckers will see the five and zero
sitting next to Duke's name. And it's not like they've
played a great a great schedule. They do have a
really good running back in Star Thomas, who's a fun
by the way, really fun named Star Thomas. And Malik
Murphy's been pretty good this year. He's been pretty solid.
Speaker 1 (42:57):
He's been better than Haines King. You're talk you keep going,
you're talking me into Duke Gate in half, keep keep
doing it.
Speaker 4 (43:06):
Yeah, yeah, I mean Malik Murphy twelve hundred twenty six yards,
twelve touchdowns and four picks. It's I think Duke's the
better team here, to be honest, And they're a nine
point dog, like I think they're live. I mean, you know, hey,
I gave out USF last week and I thought they
were a live dog. We'll get plenty of these wrong,
but I think Duke could win this game.
Speaker 1 (43:25):
I really do that.
Speaker 4 (43:27):
I don't get why it's a nine point this was
three four. Probably not looking at it, I'm probably not
thinking about it or watching it, but a nine point spread,
and what's the money line here plus plus two sixty
I'm seeing Yeah, I mean, that's that's crazy. I think
that's my favorite bet of the week.
Speaker 1 (43:43):
You've talked me into it. I'm just want to let
you know.
Speaker 4 (43:46):
There we go, so you can hold me accountable next
week for losing. I'm all in on Duke.
Speaker 1 (43:51):
So I'm true story. I despise Duke basketball have since
I was like a kid, And like my wife, we've
talked about like getting a dog, and she's like, oh,
I think Duke would make it like a great name
for it, And I said, absolutely not. That's never happening
ever in my life. If I get a dog named Duke,
I would be ridly cooled with through out my entire
(44:13):
family for the rest of my life.
Speaker 2 (44:15):
What about your daughter? Will you name her Duke?
Speaker 1 (44:17):
No, that's not an acceptable female name.
Speaker 2 (44:20):
What about k Kay?
Speaker 1 (44:23):
No, that's all that's also out of the picture.
Speaker 2 (44:27):
Oh, can I have my money in the crumbs game?
Speaker 1 (44:30):
Go ahead?
Speaker 2 (44:31):
Actually, I'll give you. I'll give a three pack out system.
Speaker 1 (44:33):
Give it to me.
Speaker 3 (44:35):
Navy Air Force under thirty five. I locked at him
before it moves down to like thirty one. Or something
by kickoff, it will be beat down. Yeah. I took
Army minus eleven and a half versus Tulsa this week.
Army has looked pretty awesome with the nice blend of
the triple option, the passing. Now they're doing a little
bit of everything. I'm praying for an undefeated Army Navy
(44:57):
game this year.
Speaker 2 (44:57):
That would be an awesome kind of storyline at it
could be.
Speaker 4 (45:04):
It would be the best thing ever. It would be.
It would be so often Army.
Speaker 2 (45:08):
Are they in the American.
Speaker 4 (45:10):
It's a good question.
Speaker 1 (45:13):
Because they're both they're both in the American.
Speaker 3 (45:15):
Yeah, could they potentially meet in the title game? And
then Army Navy as well?
Speaker 4 (45:20):
Oh my god, I have no.
Speaker 1 (45:24):
So they're the only two undefeated teams in the American
and they're both three and ozer in conference play?
Speaker 4 (45:34):
Could there be in that week?
Speaker 1 (45:37):
I mean, I don't know. It's obviously never happened. Yeah,
I mean, can we can we speak that into I mean, like.
Speaker 3 (45:48):
Kansas State, I State could be a Big twelve title
game and they play in the last week of the season, right,
but they wouldn't.
Speaker 1 (45:54):
Play after the hold on, so you have I'm trying
to go through who the contenders are in the am Hurricane,
so Memphis. I guess USF would still be considered Tulane.
You know what is that our? Is that our official?
Like root for chaos? I mean, so Army doesn't. Army
(46:18):
doesn't play any of those three teams. I just mentioned.
Speaker 2 (46:24):
Championships, right, naymy.
Speaker 1 (46:28):
So Navy has They both have to play Notre Dame,
but that doesn't matter because it's not a conference game.
Army schedule looks incredibly light. Armies at what Armies at
After this week against Tulsa. Army is either at home
or a neutral site for six of their final seven games.
Speaker 4 (46:47):
Don't count out either of those teams beating Notre Dame.
Speaker 1 (46:50):
But their only road game is is North Texas, who,
by the way, North Texas is actually really good. So
that actually might throw a wrench in our plans.
Speaker 4 (46:58):
I would say twelve and one even if they won
a conference title game. Twelve and one Army or twelve
and one Navy probably doesn't get in over eleven and
one Bois or twelve and one Bois or UNLV if
they stayed like undefeated.
Speaker 2 (47:14):
But yeah, I found the crumbs.
Speaker 3 (47:18):
Played James Madison minus sixteen and a half against l
ul Monroe.
Speaker 2 (47:23):
Let's take that take that counter as well.
Speaker 1 (47:27):
No, now I'm thinking about this Army Navy. Could they
play in the American Championship And then like the look,
it's possible. There's a lot, a lot of a lot
of all left.
Speaker 4 (47:37):
I'll throw another one out there. And this is kind
of me and Beef were talking about it today. I
gave out Virginia under four and a half wins as
one of my favorite plays.
Speaker 1 (47:45):
Yeah, how are we doing on that?
Speaker 4 (47:46):
Obviously not great three and one, but to be fair,
and I caught me and Beef for breaking it down today.
Two of those wins I gave them. When we were
talking about it, Richmond and Coastal, I assumed that they
were getting those wins. I obviously thought Virginia was gonna
be much worse than they are. They're a much better
team than I thought they'd be. They're doing a good job.
That one point win at Lake Forest where they came
(48:07):
from behind, they were down two touchdowns, that's probably the
one that's gonna screw me. I think they probably get
to five and that probably is the one that breaks
the back. They're going to lose the Louisville, Clemson, Notre Dame,
and I still think they lose at Virginia Tech. So
at this point I need them to not win two
of Boston College, North Carolina at home, at pitt and
(48:33):
SMU at home. I need them to go one in
three in those four games, and none of them are
like gimme. They have a weird schedule of like, they
don't have a single game left on the schedule that
you're like, that's definitely a win. But those four are
probably not games you look at and say definitely a loss.
I mean, look, this one's a one point spread this
week and Castianas is back at practice. I think Boston
(48:54):
College is the most better team, even independent of whatever
my preseason thought was about Virginia. I just gave you
what their three wins are, their their coastal their uh
I just forgot the second one, and then they beat
Wake Bars Richmond, Richmond. Yeah, Boston College stuck with Missouri Like,
this is a team that absolutely has impressed me. Bill
(49:16):
O'Brien seems like he's just coaching on a much higher
level than a lot of the guys he's going up against. Obviously,
NFL head coach Ocie at Bama, like he's just coached
in pretty important situations and he's going up against these
ACC guys and seems like he's out matching them. It
seems like he's just a much better, you know, schemer
than these guys. Kind Of similar to what Beef was
talking about with the Washington guys on their staff coming
(49:37):
from the NFL. I do think you see a little
bit of a difference there. And even last week without Castianus,
they're able to figure it out against the Western Kentucky
team that I know you guys felt were live and
obviously the Hilltoppers cover.
Speaker 3 (49:50):
The spread and very late comeback was very was one
of those ones I looked.
Speaker 2 (49:55):
I was like, oh wow, they actually came back and
that game.
Speaker 4 (49:59):
But without there, without their starting quarterback, I think to
win that game does say something.
Speaker 3 (50:05):
Sure, absolutely whoever started last week I saw when he
started at f i U, I guess.
Speaker 1 (50:13):
Yeah, since we're an ACC positive podcast. This week, NC
State minus five against wake Forest at home is super disrespectful.
Wake Forest. Yeah, I know, wake wake Forest is bad, bad,
like bad, bad bad. NC State, if they had any
sense of dignity, would do that would win that probably
(50:35):
by two touchdowns. I'll close on this because the bounce
back spot is one of our favorite spots in all
of college sports, uh football or basketball. There are three
black spots. What didn't even have them in the conversation.
So we'll make it four and we'll make this rapid fire.
So we have Louisville against s m U at home.
They are a what are they seven? Seven and a half?
(50:58):
Seven seven point favorite? Excuse? Then you have Oklahoma State
at home against West Virginia three and a half point favorite.
You have Georgia who is twenty four point favorite against Auburn,
and Ole Miss only one on the road out of
that four minus nine and a half at South Carolina.
Just give me some quick thoughts on all four of
those or one of the group. Are there any any
(51:22):
slip ups or do we see bounce backs for a
majority of those teams.
Speaker 4 (51:26):
I'm on Louisville. That's the one out of that group,
the one. I obviously brought it up for a reason,
But I think Louisville bounces back. Brom's a really good coach.
I think he gets there. They impressed me last week
watching that game against Notre Dame, even though they lost
the game. They didn't cover on the hook obviously on
the seven. They're still a pretty They're a.
Speaker 2 (51:44):
Really well coached team.
Speaker 4 (51:46):
I think brom is one of the better coaches and
in the sport. To be honest, Schuck is pretty good.
Really limits his mistakes. I think he only has one
pick on the year so far. So obviously he's like
thirty five years old, so he better limit his mistakes.
It's like his fifteenth year in college football. But I
like Louisville to take care of business. SMU's played an
extra game, a little more tired coming off of their
(52:08):
biggest win of the year last week. I even know,
you know, Ford State stinks, but it's still a name brand.
Speaker 2 (52:14):
I think to a team like.
Speaker 4 (52:14):
FMU, I think Louisville bounces back and beats some big time.
Speaker 3 (52:20):
I locked in South Carolina plus nine and a half today.
It looks like Sellers is going to come back in
this one. And when he's played, they've beaten Kentucky, who
might be a pretty good team actually after all, and
they were beating LSU until he went out. I think
it was twenty one to seven at one point. Then
he started coming in and out, and Ashford was going in.
(52:42):
But it sounds like Sellers is going to play this
week ole Miss coming off of deflating loss.
Speaker 2 (52:47):
How do they bounce back? And that's a team too
with ole Miss.
Speaker 3 (52:50):
For all we talked about with the transfer port on
all the additions, that's not really necessarily like a huge team,
Like they're not a group that's been together for a while,
so they don't really know how they bounced back in
situations like this, their first kind of taste of adversity.
Could be a live dog spot there because or South Carolina,
I think has been a real surprising team and one
of the more underrated home atmospheres.
Speaker 2 (53:10):
In college football, could be a live dog spot there.
Speaker 3 (53:12):
But I think that they're they're good enough to at
least keep it in the game because they're good up front,
and what do we see almost struggle with last week
Kentucky up front.
Speaker 1 (53:20):
So I'm glad both of you mentioned those two games
because I'm betting Georgia and I'm also betting Oklahoma State.
I can't quit my Gundy. And this feels like the
the all time spot where he just wins this game
by twenty five and no one bats a eye because
they lost the big game last week, I've got another.
Speaker 4 (53:37):
I've got another bounce back spot for you guys. Can
you guys believe Central Florida is flavor?
Speaker 2 (53:44):
Is flavored?
Speaker 4 (53:45):
Favored by two and a half in the swamp? Like
that shit? When that line came out, they should have
just been like, I'm sorry, we.
Speaker 2 (53:51):
Have to fire a billion apier, right, yeah?
Speaker 4 (53:53):
Right? It cannot be a two and a half point
home dog? Do you see F coming off of a
twenty seven point Walls is a thirteen porn favorite? Like,
it's pretty crazy, U see F's favorite like that. I'm
gonna I'm gonna trust Vegas and take it. I'm taking
the two and a half and taking UCF. I think
Florida might be that bad. I think they really are
just totally quit. This kind of goes against everything. I
(54:14):
think that they have the week off the week the
week before this in Florida. I don't care. I'm taking UCF.
I think Malzon is going to coach circles around Billy Boy.
Speaker 1 (54:25):
A lot of bouts back spots in Week six, hopefully
a lot of money made as well, and hopefully we'll
see a lot more big games down the road in October,
not as important or more important as Miami and cal
which gets the game day treatment this week. For everyone
(54:48):
who has tuned in and listen, thank you so much.
We were back here next Tuesday with a week seven preview.
October gets really good over the next beach A lot
of a lot of big games. Next week will dive
into all of those. For Ryan Coyle and Markenry Jr.
I'm jokes the best of luck on all of your bets.
See again next week.
