Speaker 1 (00:00):
Taco burrito.
Speaker 2 (00:01):
What's coming out your speedo? Uh oh, you fool, We're
peeing in your pool?
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Wow? Right like.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Yeah right aggressive, thank you spartans.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
All right, boys, the introductions have been made previously, and
we say, let's talk about the Festival of Festivals, the Goat, Tacos,
Tequila and Taps Festival.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
This is going to be epic. Yeah, we can't wait
this week at Duncan Park. It's uh, we're kind of
you know, turning up the heat a little bit and
getting a fiesta going and we'll be welcoming tons of
people who love great food, great beverage, and great fun.
Speaker 5 (00:37):
Super excited about it.
Speaker 3 (00:38):
What days it is it again? Yeah?
Speaker 4 (00:39):
So we're gonna do a VIP on Thursday, and then
there's Friday and Saturday with some different sessions in there.
So regardless of what your schedule is, you have no
excuse to be able to come on out and have
some tacos, tequila taps.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
What qualifies a VIP you gotta ask.
Speaker 3 (00:52):
You're never going to be on that one, I believe
ninety five dollars or something.
Speaker 4 (00:56):
Yeah, you know right, it's the extra, the slightly padded pocket.
And then we have a lot of relationships in the community,
so we've got some invitations out to folks who can
join for that and if you want to come one.
Speaker 5 (01:08):
The best part of the VIP is you get to
see me, you get to see Dante.
Speaker 3 (01:11):
That's right. Second, flat breads in Chiro.
Speaker 1 (01:15):
I was just gonna ask, what will you be preparing?
Obviously it has to be within the genre.
Speaker 5 (01:20):
Yes, I'm gonna do a flatbread, keep it within my circle.
We're gonna do beerria to keep it in the theme,
and then we're gonna do some chiro canolis.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
So I appreciate that you guys brought some of those
chiro canolis.
Speaker 1 (01:32):
But she wanted to I wanted she wanted booze.
Speaker 2 (01:35):
I was like, if they don't come in with the margarita.
Speaker 5 (01:38):
Down the throat, well there's gonna be plenty of sippy dippy.
Speaker 4 (01:42):
Dante sent me a picture of the charro cannoli last night,
and the AI on my phone was like, this might
be a suggestive photo.
Speaker 3 (01:47):
Do you want to see it? I was like, yes,
I absolutely do.
Speaker 1 (01:49):
Is that a canola in your pocket?
Speaker 3 (01:51):
Or oh?
Speaker 1 (01:51):
You know the joke? But you have to explain though
this is not like your typical oh, we just kind
of go there. I mean there's a lot going on,
a lot of bang for your different sessions, right right,
So there's.
Speaker 4 (02:02):
Different sessions in each session will have some kind of
different you know, elements to it, right. So, but it's
it's more than just kind of showing up and having
a beverage, right. This isn't your just an average beverage
fest where that's kind.
Speaker 3 (02:13):
Of all you do.
Speaker 4 (02:13):
We've got live music throughout the days, which is fantastic,
some great bands, great musical acts, tons of sponsors. You
can sample over one hundred and twenty five adult beverages.
The food vendors, I think we've got over two dozen
restaurants that are coming out to participate in this as well.
Speaker 3 (02:28):
And a lot of mediocre chefs.
Speaker 1 (02:30):
I know, there's a lot of i mean people that
have nothing better to do than to do yes, correct.
Speaker 4 (02:36):
Correct, if you're looking for average boy, Oh boy, have
we got you know it's Dante's fantast I've known Dante
for years now.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
I'm very excited to see him on the list as
well too. We're going to have you know, Tyler Anderson's Yeah, Tyler.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
With queues there. We're going to see our friends from
TJ Burritos. We've got Bear Smoke Out, you know, mo Mace,
which is from the Doro restaurant group that just opened
on the South Steam Higway Weathersfield.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
They're going to be there. So yeah, lots of great.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
Stuff, including some things that people probably haven't had yet
because there's so new.
Speaker 2 (03:05):
And I do have to out myself. So when I
first read the title of the event, I'm going tacos
tequila taps. Taps is that short for like tapa?
Speaker 1 (03:14):
She thought it was tappis or maybe there was a
memorium to a fallen soldier beer tap and you're the drinker,
I know.
Speaker 2 (03:24):
I'm just saying you have more than just tequila. If
people don't want to imbibe with.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
That, absolutely correct. Yeah, so we've got a lot of
different labels that are there. Certainly plenty of tequila brands.
Our friends at Patron and costin Nobley are going to
be there, Mi compo. Having said that, we've got some vodka,
we've got some Seltzer's, We've got plenty of beers and
craft beers and local beers. So you don't have to
be a tequila fan or a tequila connosor to come
out and enjoy yourself.
Speaker 3 (03:48):
Becky's Brewing's going to be there. Those guys are the
fire Bomb Urban Lodge.
Speaker 4 (03:52):
You know, they've got the second location in downtown Hartford,
so we're thrilled to have them. Waypoint Spirits is going
to be there, Lichfield Distillery, which is local.
Speaker 1 (04:01):
So but here's what I love is this benefits a
couple of great charities, including hands On Hartford, which if
you don't know about him, they make such a huge
difference in the capital city and that's just awesome.
Speaker 3 (04:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (04:15):
I mean, the one of the things that you know,
certainly the yard Goats and the event sponsor here three
sixty Marketing Events want to make sure happens is that, yes,
this is fun, but this is also a give back opportunity.
One of the things I love about Hartford is just
how much community feeling there is any time we do something.
So having Hartford's Camp Current and hands On Hartford, I
(04:37):
want to shout out Groundworks LLC because they are the
presenting sponsor of the beneficiaries of this event.
Speaker 2 (04:43):
And where does one go if they want to get tickets?
Speaker 4 (04:45):
You know, I thought you would never ask let me
answer that question. All you got to do is go
to Goat Tacos Tequila taps dot com. Goat Tacos Tequila
Taps dot com. Or you can hop on the Yard
Goats website and kind of navigate your way from there.
Speaker 5 (05:00):
And I believe there's a link in the Instagram.
Speaker 4 (05:03):
Yeah, there should be a link on the Instagram as
well too, so you can follow them at Goat Tacos
Tequila Taps on your Instagram, give them a follow and
all the information and then we'll be sharing stuff live
day of as well too for all those sessions.
Speaker 5 (05:15):
And a special invite to my wife's best friend Allie,
please come and get some tacos.
Speaker 3 (05:20):
Al come on out do it Ali and listen.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
If you use the hashtag connor, they charge you twice
as much and take your pants right.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
Well, I didn't know about the pants part. I just
knew that all right.
Speaker 5 (05:31):
An last, Hey, I will be completely naked under my clothing.
