Speaker 1 (00:00):
Crashing aj are tapping into the sports k all the
local and national sports headlines on Nutty eight Rock Roddy
landon studio. You have all the Bucks podcast before and
after each Bucks game here on ninety eight Rock.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Happy Football Friday. I'm ready to go right now. Wish
it was Sunday night all round. I know, right hey's
sitting around all day Sunday waiting on my game to start.
But that's what we're tasked with this Sunday. That's okay,
it's national TV. It's NBC Sunday Night Football. They're already
promoting it on the Today Show all week.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
It's fifteen the Bucks in the front of the pack
when it comes to coverage.

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Yeah, it definitely makes things a little easier for you.
And but you know, halftime and some of the other
when you're usually breaking down all the games, what's happening.
At least you got all the games done with at
that time, since the scores won't be.

Speaker 2 (00:47):
Will be changing, it's just you know what I give
the NFC South scores and the Carolina Panthers are a
half game. We have many Buccaneers. We gotta we gotta
get back on the you know, get back on the
winning track here, get back in the win. Call them
on Sunday. It's gonna be tough against the team. This
team is, I think playing the best football this team

(01:08):
that we're playing the La Rams. So this is going
to be a tough assignment in their house on Sunday.
But it can be done. Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:15):
I mean, we thought saw the New England Patriots a
couple of weeks ago. They looked like a top contender
in the AFC. We don't know to think about Buffalo
Bills now after last night.

Speaker 2 (01:24):
And you know what, Buffalo's been that way all season.
They've been up and down and down. Their backs were
against the wall on Sunday at home, and I knew
they were going to we were gonna get their best effort.
I didn't know that Josh was going to be responsible
for six freaking touchdowns. But you see what happened to
him last night with Houston, Yes, Houston, listen. Houston came

(01:46):
into this game with twenty five total team sacks. What's
the big complaint about the Bucks? No pass rush or
a last right? The Bucks had twenty six. They have
twenty six team sacks right now. Houston got eight sacks
of Josh Allen last night, that Josh, But their defense

(02:06):
is for real and they just played up a very
inspired football game. It was fun to watch.

Speaker 1 (02:11):
Yeah, And that being said, now we've got this third
big every big. Every game is a big game, Elisa
rams this one. Sorry, this one's bigger because it's an
NFC game. Yeah, So if they can find a way
to win this. And Matthew Stafford, you know, he's not
Josh Allen. He's going to be right behind the center,
you know where he's going to be. He's not going

(02:31):
to be extending plays with his legs. So that's one
of the big keys they have to get home. They
have to sack Matthew Stafford or he'll stand back there
and pick you apart. Creative boys to do that. Anthoine
Winfield involved, Get Twee's involved, man, and tweez is going
to be on our pregame showed about six fifteen here
on ninety eight Rock via Casey from Buccaneers dot com.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
So we're looking forward to that. Little Tweeze is actually
his nickname because his dad nickname was Tweezed. Antoine Winfield Senior.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
I love this.

Speaker 2 (03:03):
It's a quarterback Tweeze said, this took a quarterback and offense.
Let's be consistent and finish some drives and let's get
some things done. You know.

Speaker 3 (03:11):
Yeah, now, we did had to have the bug that's
been hitting the team. Although it was good to see
that quite a few people that were sick, for instance,
like Baker Mayfield returned to full participation in practice yesterday.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
Yeah. That's not something you want on a plane all
the way across the country. So hopefully that has gotten
out of their systems. It was it was like seven
players and five or six coaches that got affected by that.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
And as far as notable players, Chris Godwin full participatet practice.

Speaker 2 (03:38):
That's looking good because the Bucks need another target for
Baker Mayfield because everybody's keying on a Mecca. Yeah, so
we got to take some pressure off of Mecca. And
if you get Chris Godwin back, they have to pay
attention to him, whether he's one hundred percent or not,
they have to pay attention to fourteen.

Speaker 1 (03:54):
I mean that to me, it seems like they had
to put him in. Whether he's going in early or
I don't know, but this time we have to win
this game. So having all hands on deck is really important.
And then I think we're gonna go without Bucky Irving
maybe this weekend.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
That's unknown, that's unknown. We're hearing he could be back soon.
We're hearing he's had some issues with dealing with the
injury mentally, but that's all just hearsay. The Bucks have
not confirmed anything. So we're just gonna go on the
fact that he's coming back soon. But in the meantime,
Sean Tucker's got to be the guy.

Speaker 1 (04:25):
Yeah, he was the guy last week. He was outstanding
last week. All right, we'll tell us about the pregame
postgame coming up on Sunday.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
The postgame will be exactly as soon as the game
is over, we'll have the Hooters postgame show and that
will be yours truly in Pat Donovan. And then after
that we take phone calls for an hour after the
hour pre the Hooters post game show, then we take
phone calls from the listeners. You guys would not believe
some of the calls we get.

Speaker 3 (04:52):
Oh yeah, oh yes, more ways than one.

Speaker 2 (04:58):
And it doesn't matter what time, you know, it'll be late.
It'll be close to midnight when we're on. So all right,
we'll get calls if they win, people are going to
be really happy if they Yeah, we get all kinds
of crazy calls.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
And we've had a good left coast road trip before
this year. Against Seattle, I got the Bucks winning twenty
to seventeen.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
Look at you, twenty seventeen over the Rams. I like
it so a low scoring game, yes, low scoring game.
Defense is gonna come in.

Speaker 1 (05:22):
All right. That's what I got for you, Ronnie. Thank
you very much.

Speaker 2 (05:26):
My pleasure. Pregame begins at five thirty on Sunday. We'll
see you then

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
