this in a rotation, so it's my turn to go
first on this. We had a successful coin flip earlier. Yeah,
and uh, looks like what was the outcome of that.

Speaker 5 (03:23):
Producer X gets to I won a Producer X actually
gets to answer first.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
We now get to defer because we don't know if
there's any advantage to winning the coin toss that. Yeah, right,
so we've adjusted this contest a little bit. All right,

helps to know all these three Mississippi Trivia questions for sure.

Speaker 5 (03:44):
And it also comes with a month of unlimited work
swashes to Tommy's Express car Wash.

Speaker 2 (03:47):
I was just there yesterday.

Speaker 5 (03:49):
Matter of yeah, I've been going there so many times.
It's awesome over in Pee Park. Let's go.

Speaker 2 (03:53):
Trucks looking good. Don't rain today, but if it does,
I'll go back there.

Speaker 5 (03:55):
We go out in three minutes.

Speaker 2 (03:57):
All right. All right, So subject we kind of looked
at a subject yesterday. I guess it was Culinary Arts Month.

Speaker 5 (04:04):
Month, Yeah, and which is basically we're honoring the hands
behind the heat. So it's all about food culinary arts today.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yeah. So I'm gonna go with one of my favorite
items ever in the history of culinary creation, the McRib. Yep,
all right, we're going with the McRib today. All right.
So my question is this is according to I've referenced
this a couple of times, according to the Information super Highway. Yeah,

(04:33):
how many ingredients are in the McRib? All right? And
your choices are A seventy, B two hundred and ten,
C forty or D one hundred and sixteen ingredients.

Speaker 7 (04:52):
I mean it's a McDonald's burger, so lois number. We're
just gonna throw that one in the trash. I think
I'm gonna go with the highest number, which was forty two.

Speaker 2 (05:04):
Ten.

Speaker 4 (05:04):
Final answer B.

Speaker 2 (05:07):
All right, you're incorrect. All right?

Speaker 5 (05:10):
Can you repeat the question in all those numbers again?

Speaker 2 (05:12):
All right? The mcgrib delicious?

Speaker 5 (05:14):
Yeah, not really, never had it.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
All right? According to the Information super Highway, how many
ingredients are in the McRib? Your choices are A seventy,
B two hundred and ten, C forty or D one
hundred and sixteen ingredients. H you're on the club.

Speaker 5 (05:28):
Let's go with C forty on this.

Speaker 2 (05:30):
C forty. You are incorrect on this and the correct
amount is seventy ingredients in the McRib. According to the
Information super Highway.

Speaker 4 (05:42):
We should only just be one and it's ribs.

Speaker 5 (05:45):
I did love bit of seasoning.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
I did a deep dive on the ingredients. So we're
all get into that.

Speaker 5 (05:51):
Are you still going to eat it?

Speaker 2 (05:53):
Yes? I am. I'm not going to go back to
this page ever again. Thought me tell you that right now.
All right, So there you go, first Tribune question, first answer,
remember it. Make sure you check out our socials as well,
and we'll get you caught up for that Crash test
at nine thirty. All right, two more trivia questions coming
and Daily Nugget not too far away. This is lit.

(06:13):
My worst enemy is crashing. AJ nainety eight rocks.

Speaker 1 (06:17):
When you need a nugget, a nugget of inspiration, this
is your daily nugget with Crash and AJ.

Speaker 2 (06:26):
Ninety eight rocks you somehow, some way take this quote
into your day here on the tenth of July twenty
twenty five. Good taste doesn't exist. It is our taste.

(06:49):
We have to be proud of it. Everybody's different, man.
Some people bite until mcribb and they go, that's delicious.
Some people by to grab and go like onions, like onions,
hold onions on me on that. Some people listen to

(07:11):
led Zeppelin they go, that's awesome. Some people listen to
led Zeppelin and they go like that. I don't like
to hang out with those people. Be Yeah, your taste
is your taste, man. There's there's really no such thing
as good taste. What you like and what somebody else likes,
that's two different tastes right there. Franco Moshimo is the

(07:35):
quote on that one right there. Yeah, so don't knock
somebody else's taste just because you got different tastes, different
strokes for different folks. Take that in your day, my friends.
That's your daily nugget twenty four with Crashing aj Just
to a quick reminder, we're gonna give your first opportunity
to win a thousand dollars That cash corn is coming up.
And for me, I would not have to go fishing

(07:56):
for golf balls if I had a thousand dollars light,
I just go buy you sleep. Oh yeah, probably would
still go, but that that's an idea.

Speaker 5 (08:04):
Oh yeah, there's so many things you can have so
much fun with one thousand bucks, and thirteen people will
get to do that today and hopefully you can be
one of them. And if not, you know, maybe it's
buying concert tickets, which, by the way, we do have
your hook up later today. Alli's hooking it up with
ghost tickets at twelve forty and then Big Rigs got
what a four pack of Monster Jam tickets for forty
inside the commercial free tower hour.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Another reason to keep us number one of those presets.
So your thumb away from the action they're trending stories
coming up. Godsmack, this is voodoo on naetiy a rock,
Thank you, ma'am.

Speaker 8 (08:31):
I'm doing for hey Jay in the morning, Quickie on
ninety a rock brought to you by Barto Ford.

Speaker 3 (08:37):
Right.

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Weatherwise a scorcher today ninety plus and Tampa just over
ninety along the coast but less than a chance of
that afternoon shower. So there's been a little thinner day
agea good morning, Hey, good.

Speaker 5 (08:48):
Morning crash and Penella's County just held the first is
several public meetings about a big emergency beach for nourishment project.
See they're spending about one hundred and twenty five million
to rebuild dunes using hotel taxes and stay eight grants.
But here's the catch. Overall, one hundred and thirty property
owners have not signed the paperwork to let the county
put sand on their land. Now, without those signatures, gap

(09:10):
from storms can lead straight into neighborhoods, causing a whole
lot more damage. And remember all that trauma we just
went through several months.

Speaker 2 (09:19):
Ago, that's just not for esthetics that so actually protect
the rest of the communities there.

Speaker 5 (09:24):
So yeah, so to help things move along, the county's
going to be holding signing days July twenty first through
the twenty third Indian Chorest Town Hall. Now, as you're
talking about some of the hone owners, they are worried
about losing those ocean views. I get it, but what's
more important here? And of course they're also worried about
the impact on tourism. Yeah, once again, what does all
the storms have impact us on not being able to

(09:45):
have any tourism? Right? So, the dune works are kicking
off in September, they run through January, and if they
don't get all the ease mins, some areas just going
to be left more vulnerable to future storms. So if
you're looking to attend get that stuff signed, remember so
days July twenty first through twenty third at Indian Shorestown Hall.
Also be a couple more public meetings, one online next Wednesday,

(10:07):
July sixteenth, and then they're holding one in a bell
Air beach on August sixth. Right, So, the Trump administration
announced to big change yesterday. They could help people buy homes.
They say, starting now, rent payments can actually count toward
getting a mortgage. They say this is huge because credit
history won't just include credit cards and loans anymore. See

(10:30):
if you're wondering how this works. Basically, they're letting lenders
use a new credit score model called vantage Score four
point zero instead of the old Fiico system, and this
new model counts rent and utility payments. Whenever they're figuring out.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
That's about time. I don't know in the first place.

Speaker 7 (10:47):
This is my most consistently paid bill, A shining star.

Speaker 4 (11:00):
Score time.

Speaker 5 (11:02):
So a content creator isolated some of Ozzy's vocals from
last Weekends back to the beginning farewell show. Now granted,
the one that they shared is the clip from Mama,
I'm Coming Home, which was by far one of the latest,
you know, the later in the set, and by far
his most emotional performance of the night. In fact, you
can actually hear the emotion in the audio. Take a
listene times a change come by, Yeah, Ma Moa coming home. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (11:36):
And that's watching him really push that and the emotion
with the challenges of what he was going through that
was just really yeah, heartfelt watch right there.

Speaker 5 (11:47):
I mean, it's just a powerful testament to his resilience,
you know, to the emotion, to that enduring spirit of
the Prince of Darkness. And I can't say thank you
enough to Ozzy and all Black Sabbath and all this
performers that you gave that gift to us all this
past week, and of course the gift to all the
money that they raised. What was it? Was it two
hundred million dollars?

Speaker 2 (12:06):
Yea, they're saying it's been approach like half a billion dollars.
Basically by the time it's all said, yeah, that's awesome.

Speaker 5 (12:14):
Man, that it is. And finally, Peter Jackson will always
be associated with Lord of the Rings, but maybe you
should have been a part of Jurassic Park because I
get this. His latest project involves reviving and extinct species.
He and him and his partner friend have partnered with
the company Colossal Biosciences. You guys remember these these people

(12:35):
if you're not familiar.

Speaker 3 (12:36):
Uh.

Speaker 5 (12:37):
They've been responsible for trying to basically bring back lots
of different extinct species, from the wooly mammoth, did the
Dodo bird, the Tasmanian tiger, and last year they announced
they genetically altered three dire wolf pops. Well, this time
Peter and his partner have the dream of bringing back
the moa. The moa, the largest species of bird ever

(12:59):
known to exist. Now it was flightless flightless. It was
flightless sort of looks like like an Ostrich right, but
much larger, And they went extinct by around the year
of fifteen hundred, but Peter and Fran donated fifteen million
to the effort to try and bring it back. That
they say, this one is going to be a little
bit more complicated because well they're all formed inside of
an egg, so different ball game. They're compared to the

(13:21):
dire Wolf.

Speaker 2 (13:22):
Pups enough that to be the one I bring back?
Can you are they? Have you ever had an oscar
you meet? It's pretty tasty. I'm wondering how they taste.
I don't know that is that bad that I'm wondering
how everything tastes for some reason.

Speaker 5 (13:34):
I mean, it amazes me. They're able to try and
bring back the Direwolf pup and they're working on the MOA,
but yet I can't bring back the time that my
WiFi was the fastest stain in my house. Yeah, spectrums
on my poop list.

Speaker 2 (13:45):
You think maybe the try the mixed serratops might be
the next Sandway with the sandwich.

Speaker 4 (13:48):
Right, No, that's where we're gonna get to.

Speaker 7 (13:51):
It's gonna be corporate naming of the mixed seratops barbecue sandwich.

Speaker 5 (13:55):
Yeah, try Sarah, not syruh exactly.

Speaker 2 (13:57):
Hold onions on that there. All right, you guys were
comment on anything we're talking about. Talk bag feed to
try it on the free iHeartRadio apps six two with crashing.
Aj're about to go commercial free. Just two minutes ago,
AJ was reporting the story about bringing back an extinct species, right.

Speaker 5 (14:13):
Yeah, which you know this company or what is it,
Colossal Buying Sciences has been at it and they last
year announced that they genetically altered three dire wolf pops.
But now Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson wants
to bring back the moa, which was a massive, you know,
the largest bird ever that was over in New Zealand.
It's been extinct for quite some time.

Speaker 2 (14:33):
All Right. They got the money in the dough and
the science to do this. Can't they bring back anything else?
I mean, what what would you like science to bring back?
Not just in the animal worlds?

Speaker 5 (14:43):
Yeah, anything, yeah, like fast Wi Fi in your home again?

Speaker 2 (14:47):
All right? All right? So yeah, no wrong answers, what
do you want science to help bring back? All right?
Is it the moo? Or is it something else, all right,
got a chance for me to pick up those tickets to
see the Offspring coming up at nine thirty for the
craft test, all right.

Speaker 5 (15:00):
Also includes that one month of unlimited works washes to
Tommy's Express car wash. So in case you missed it
this morning. First on the Morning Quicker, we started talking
about how director Peter Jackson is now spend a lot
of money to try and bring back an extinct species,
the moa. So we want to know what else should
be brought back. Of course, you guys are dropping on
the talk back feature as well as the here in

(15:21):
studio at eight hundred and seven to three seven double
O ninety eight.

Speaker 2 (15:24):
It's your name rolling from Port Richie and I'd like
to know science can bring that common sense. I don't know, man,
I mean that's that's that'd be some high tech technology
right now.

Speaker 5 (15:35):
A tough ask.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
Yeah, that's a tough ask, right there.

Speaker 5 (15:38):
Diar wolves. Common sense.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yeah, let's bring back dinosaurs first, see, and then we
can bring back some common says. I think the technology
will advance after the dinosaur, Yeah, probably will, probably will.
All right, all right, keep those coming. Uh, We've also
got another three Mississippi trivia question not too far away
as well. All right, look out for that rockste Our

(16:00):
nickel bags crashing A. J nainety eight rock. All right,
second pre Mississippi Tribute question coming up. The The genre
is culinary arts, is right, that's right.

Speaker 5 (16:10):
In honor of Culinary Arts Month, which is, you know,
in honor of those that are helping the hands behind
these incredible culinary creations.

Speaker 2 (16:17):
All right, A, ja's got the question coming up. We
always flip the coin here to see who gets the
first question or gets the choice here, so go right ahead.

Speaker 5 (16:25):
AJ, all right, who what do you call on? Heads
or tails?

Speaker 2 (16:28):
I'm going heads on this one, all.

Speaker 5 (16:29):
Right, tails it is?

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Okay, I defer, you're deferring it to me.

Speaker 4 (16:36):
Defer sure the first answer to you.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
We'll give you a second chance. We figured out that
when you win the toss, you don't win the toss.
So yeah, we got all right.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
We got nobody's winning the sauce regards.

Speaker 2 (16:50):
Nirvana, Tampa Bays Rock Station ninety eight Rock Hope. You
have the number one of your presets for moments like
this right here?

Speaker 5 (16:58):
All right, Yeah, it's our second Mississippi Trivia question of
the day, which could land in the tickets to experience
the offspring, as well as that month of unlimited work
swashes for friends of Tommy's Express car Wash. Coming up
at nine thirty inside the Crash test. All right, now,
we already had the first question of the day six
oh five with Crash. I've got the second question here
to kick things off, in which producer X one the

(17:19):
coin toss. So he deferred to Crash to answer the question.

Speaker 4 (17:23):
First.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
I'm gonna be sorry you deferred, That's all I'm saying. Ye,
you're right.

Speaker 5 (17:30):
Which it is Culinary Arts Month, the month of July,
which recognizes the professional cooks and chefs who bring innovative,
unique cuisine from their kitchens to our tables. Oh yeah,
chef's kiss. So this is an honor of you all
these trivia questions today. So my question is which country
created spaghetti ice? Which spaghetti ice is ice cream that

(17:52):
looks like spaghetti. Is it A Malta, b Italy, C
Germany or D China China.

Speaker 2 (18:04):
Let's see here. I'm going Malta just because it sounds good.
I'm going Malta on this one final answer. Malta.

Speaker 5 (18:20):
You know what, I love that answer because it is
located in the Mediterranean, right in between Sicily and Africa.
But that isn't correct, not Alta.

Speaker 2 (18:28):
I had a feeling that was the case.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
You know what, it's China going with China.

Speaker 7 (18:32):
With China, I think they are like, you know what,
let's take the best of both worlds, smash them together.

Speaker 5 (18:38):
You know what. They've got some great ice cream over there,
and they're also historic with noodles. But that is not
correct either.

Speaker 2 (18:44):
Well, there you go. It's actually Germany, mister defer guy,
we both lost how about that?

Speaker 4 (18:49):
You know, I'm sober over here, but.

Speaker 5 (18:53):
Germany responsible for that one. Unfortunately I haven't found it
anywhere here in Tampa Bay. But there is a place
Spigatto over in Cape Corral that has versus. They do
it with gelato.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Yeah, all right, if anybody has any recommendations on that
particular piece of culinary art, get us up there. So
we can no where to go get it. But there
you go. Great question, there a Jay, Thank you. All right.
We have a third and final question coming up in
the nine o'clock hour. I don't even know what I
want to know what food category this is coming from?

Speaker 4 (19:20):
Edible underwel.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
All right, look out for that right before you crash
Test nine thirty for those Osprey tickets earlier crash. Are
you taking advantage of all these winning opportunities we're giving
you on ninety eight Rock all right?

Speaker 5 (19:31):
Yeah, if you haven't been to ninety eight rock dot
com or even right there on the free iHeartRadio app,
just scroll over to the contest peb tab and make
a play for yourself, just like Casey did last month
when we were giving you the chance to become our
VIP at the Vans Warped torn Orlando. He won, So
he's going to bring four friends with him or three
friends with them to go experience the show VIP style

Speaker 5 (20:07):
We do, in fact no more Vans, but we do
have a chance for you and a friend to win
your way to experience the Bourbon and Beyond Festival happening
up in Louisville. Round your Fair Fair Hotel, Kay, take

all the details. Ninety eight rock dot comsoles that free
art radio up in the contest tap that sounds.

Speaker 2 (20:23):
Like a trip where you don't take any pictures reasonable
you share with any Yeah, all right, we got sports
getting not too far away as well. Gorilla Clint East
was ural commercial free Crashing aj at ninety eight.

Speaker 1 (20:37):
Rock Crashing AJ are tapping into the sports k all
the local and national sports headlines on naety eight Rock
right starting.

Speaker 5 (20:45):
Off your raise, Yeah, which first time all starred Junior
Kenney narrow home Earth and ended up scoring twice for
our rais yesterday is they beat Detroit seven to three yesterday,
making sure they put those brooms away and also eliminating
the Tigers who had the Major league leading a winning
streak at five games not anymore.

Speaker 2 (21:04):
If you're looking for good stuff right there. Might had
a tough stretch, Yeah, but we ended that stinking streak
right there.

Speaker 7 (21:10):
Okay, their producer X you know I am I did
watch that game and it was it was like a
rough I'll say fifth inning if.

Speaker 4 (21:16):
You're not a race, it was just like a hit parade.

Speaker 2 (21:20):
Yeah, and we need the momentum too, right.

Speaker 5 (21:22):
Yeah, down at three to two after five innings. The
race scored four times in the sixth, and Junior let
off the seventh with his twenty second homer, and of
course broke it up again, broke it open in the
sixth after what is it Chase Lee actually was on
the mound for Detroit to out runner on second he
Chase Lee reprint, replaced Brent Herder and allowed four straight

(21:46):
run scoring hits.

Speaker 2 (21:48):
It was quick.

Speaker 7 (21:49):
It was like maybe ten minutes of just brush two pitches, double,
two pitches double, like it just kept going.

Speaker 2 (21:56):
And of course we needed some momentum going into the
All Star break, would take on the Red Sox got
a chance to maybe win that series and build some momentums.
So these guys can rest. They're probably exhausted with all
this traveling what they're doing right now.

Speaker 5 (22:07):
Yeah, but by the way, congratulations to Junior who was
invited to join the home run derby next week. And
even better, he was named the starter at third base
for the All Star Game.

Speaker 2 (22:17):
All right.

Speaker 5 (22:18):
Yeah, which, by the way, at Tampa Bay, like Crash
was just saying, traveling to Boston to start a four
game series ten night, seven to ten first pitch, Taj
Bradley taking them ound. Oh all right, we've also got
a yeah, stand by you.

Speaker 2 (22:33):
Right.

Speaker 5 (22:36):
As for a Tampa Bay Buccaneers, they're going to be
starting the season without all Pro tackle Tristan Werfs, who
underwent knee surgery on Tuesday and is likely going to
be missing at least the first few games of the
regular season. Now, if you don't recall, he aggravated a
right knee injury that forced him to miss one game
last season. The Bucks scheduled an arthroscopic surgery on Tuesday

(22:57):
and some additional minor damage was found, so they say
he's likely going to be starting the season on the
Physically Unable to Perform list AK the PUP list. If
that miss it happens, he's going to be missing a
minimum of four games.

Speaker 2 (23:10):
So we start off against the Valcons September seventh, take
on the Texans, We're at the Texans on the fifteenth,
and we host the Jets on the twenty first of September.
Those are the first three games.

Speaker 5 (23:22):
Yeah, a lot of people wondering who's going to be
taking his place. Well, in the off season, the Bucks
signed former forty nine ers swing tackle Charlie Heck, so
they signed him in a free agency He's likely to
be replacing him to start the season. Of course, we'll
see how everything goes down at training camp here in
just a few weeks. All Right, and Oklahoma City thunder
point guard shay Shaye Gilgas Alexander is now the cover

(23:46):

Speaker 2 (24:12):
All right, SGA deserved that for sure.

Speaker 5 (24:15):
And now today's life lesson, don't get drunk and pick
a fight at a golf course. Of course, why because
well the guy might be a former NHL enforcer. In
this case, it's former New York ranger Nick Tarnisky.

Speaker 2 (24:29):
Yeah, he was actually drafted by the Tampa Bay Lighting.
But check this out. This is this is a little
highlight of the fight here. Bring this up there, it
goes there. It is right. You guys need to get
up the course. You're not scaring anybody. Come on, man,

(24:52):
he will not get out of his face, will not
get out of he's trying to get the guy off him. Ma'am,
I'm not here. That's a stroke right there, for sure.
You gotta be careful who you're running room in the lake.

Speaker 5 (25:11):
He pushed him into the water hazard and he just
kept coming out. Nick, Yeah, I just came kept coming
back at him, gave him some head blows before I
only just ragged all them away.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
I mean, this guy has had experience doing this, He
got paid to do this professionally. And you're gonna you
gotta be careful you confront on the golf course.

Speaker 7 (25:29):
Every time you heard him say bang, that was literally
a fist to the job, like he literally was connecting
bang bang bang.

Speaker 2 (25:38):
We're gonna put that video up on our blog too,
by the way, so you can almost feel it the
impact from his fist right there. All right, that's what
we got for. I'm not out all right. Make sure
you check on a blog and crashed and j for
that coming up a few minutes away Florida or not Florida.

(26:01):
Perfect song for this following flip knot naughtier Roddy.

Speaker 8 (26:06):
This is where she gets weird man, it's weird man.
This could be your neighbor, bro or your cousin in Nebraska.
This is Florida or not Florida with crash eight rock.

Speaker 2 (26:21):
All right, what's our contestants name? Where are you from?

Speaker 9 (26:25):
Loopole?

Speaker 2 (26:26):
Richie?

Speaker 5 (26:27):
Nice? Well? Hello, good morning? And was your name Tony today? Here?

Speaker 2 (26:30):
That earlier?

Speaker 5 (26:31):
Correctly, Tony? You got it nice?

Speaker 2 (26:34):
All right?

Speaker 5 (26:34):
Well, welcome Tony. So today's story begins with our thirty
one year old superstar Michael. See. This past week, Michael
walked into a Low's wedecided he wanted to get all
five and ten finger discounts by grabbing nearly fifteen hundred
dollars worth of stuff. Wow, can be easy to do,
but that's some big stuff. You know, you're you're definitely

(26:56):
having some fun in the cart with that one.

Speaker 2 (26:58):
Absolutely, But you know what.

Speaker 5 (27:00):
He was busted and when deputies showed up, he bolted,
but not via car, not via a bike, okay, not
even a new bird. No, this time he got away
by doing something that's never been done before on the
eight year History of Florida and Off Florida on ninety
eight rock he hitched a ride in the back of
the UPS truck that was driving by.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
Oh you're skitching started driving by.

Speaker 5 (27:23):
You just hopped on the back of it, and bam,
I gotta get him.

Speaker 2 (27:27):
Applause on this one. You know they're not stopping. They're
on a schedule. Yeah, I mean, stop, cops, you might,
I might not take any left turns.

Speaker 5 (27:34):
But well, it took a minute before the driver realized.
See what happened was witnesses spotted him cruising down the road,
hanging off the back of the truck, even took some pictures.
They called police, and that's when police informed the driver,
who then spotted him and said, hey, you gotta go.
Well guess what. Cops eventually ended up tracking him down
and arrested him and tossed him in jail with a

(27:55):
fifteen thousand dollars bond.

Speaker 2 (27:57):
By the way, was almost an accomplished too.

Speaker 8 (28:01):
Man.

Speaker 4 (28:01):
He almost got away. He almost got away.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
It went for the stupid UPS driver.

Speaker 4 (28:08):
It's probably a FedEx guy that called it into.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
All right, there we go, what do we got here? Tony?
Unfortunately I'm gonna have to stay Florida.

Speaker 5 (28:19):
You know what happened to Palm Coast, really Palm Coast,
And I was there that day. I visited miss witnessing
all that superstardom.

Speaker 2 (28:28):
He might be. He's seen the running for Superstar of
the Week. That's a good one. It's never been that ever.

Speaker 5 (28:31):
And yesterday's too was pretty strong. All right, man, too
strong Florida contenders. And you know what, you're great. You're
strong at today's game there, Tony. Congratulations for your efforts.
You're getting tickets to check out the Rays. Take it
on the Orioles July twentieth at Steinbrenner with what radio station.

Speaker 8 (28:47):
The Rocks the Bay, Naughty eight Rock, You ma'am dying
for Hey in the morning, Quickie on ninety eight Rock,
brought to you by Barjo for right.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Got a lot of sun today, a little bit more
clear and less chances of rain throughout the area, although
we lost some scattered showers high oft inland and a
rider on ninety one inland and ninety on the coast.

Speaker 5 (29:12):
There a jay good morning, Hey, good morning. Crash and
heads up if you're doing any traveling anytime soon, especially
out of pie the Saint Pete clear Water International Airport
officials say that parking lots are quickly filling to capacity,
so much so that they're now urging passengers to get
a ride. I say a record breaking number of passengers
have been passing through the airport, especially on weekends, typically

(29:33):
from Thursday to Sunday, and that getting a ride to
the airport is the best option if you want to
ensure that you'll be able to make your flight on time.
But if you do plan on driving there and parking
your car, make sure you'll allow extra time for shuttle
service and also be prepared to make other arrangements if
the parking lots are at capacity, which seems to be happening.

Speaker 2 (29:52):
And I did see that. We talked about it the
other day. It's because the airport seems like some of
the airports are loosening up on the shoes thing.

Speaker 5 (30:00):
Well, funny you mentioned that another airport news crash. I
fived a TPA. You know their socials have been killing
it full of snarky humor and histordy is big announcement
was no different and actually went viral. Tampa International Airport
socials announced quote unquote, the TSA will now let you
keep your shoes on through security at TPA with three
exclamation points, and then there's a little star, and that

(30:22):
star said, unless you're wearing crocs, you should take those
off and throw them away.

Speaker 2 (30:26):
That's what I'm talking about. I like that whole post,
every bit of it right there.

Speaker 5 (30:31):
I think you'll also like this one. Yesterday, a big
change was announced that could help people buy homes. They say,
starting now, rent payments can count towards getting a mortgage.
This is huge because credit history won't just include credit
cards and loans anymore. They're now going to be using
a new credit score model called vantage Score four point

(30:52):
zero instead of the old Fiico system, in which it
counts those rent and utility payments when figuring out credit scores.
Big fan, it's about daing time.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
I mean, even the even the electric company, ol dingya.
If you don't have a good payment history, why don't
you just get credit for that? And now all of
a sudden, that is a that's the thing right there.

Speaker 5 (31:10):
Yeah, that's awesome. What's not a thing? Former nineteen nineties
Pearl Jam drummer Dave A. Bruises returning to the band.
There's been a rumor going around ever since it was announced.
When Man announced earlier this week that he was going
to be uh calling it quits. Uh, then some people
started speculating, is that is that an announcement for day
will he be joining? And according to July eighth post

(31:33):
on Facebook, he thanked fans but says, quote unquote he's
got nothing to reconcile and no plans to rejoin.

Speaker 2 (31:40):
Oh wow, Okay, that's a little yeah cryptic, that was cryptic.
There should be the next drummer for Pearl.

Speaker 5 (31:46):
Jam Uh oh jeez. What was I wonder? Is that
it opened?

Speaker 4 (31:50):
Who's the guy that just got fired from the Food Fighters?

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Right, Josh Josh Freeze? Yeah? Or maybe maybe Dave Girl.
Maybe Dave Girl come to yeah right, joins those guys.

Speaker 5 (32:03):
You did do the drums on your new song by
the way, okay, well two Fighter's new song, Dave fulded
the drums for all right. So open ai is getting
ready to launch its own web browser that's going to
compete with Google Chrome. They plan to release this AI
powered browser in the coming weeks that's going to use
AI to change how people browse the web, they say,
instead of just clicking through websites, users will be able

(32:26):
to chat with the browser, just like they do with
chat GPT, which that browser can also do task for
users like booking reservations or even filling out forms on websites.

Speaker 4 (32:36):
I trusted that much, I'll book the reservation for me.

Speaker 7 (32:40):
I'm gonna get a room next to the dumpster or something.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
Load applications. Yeah, I don't know.

Speaker 5 (32:46):
I mean, I funny thing, just you know, make sure
you proofread everything. But I mean, do you trust like
your phone to do stuff like that?

Speaker 1 (32:52):
Now?

Speaker 5 (32:52):
Like when it like fill in things like, for instance.

Speaker 2 (32:54):
I try to use my mind. I try really hard,
and I'm like everyone I know, you know, including my fiance.
She goes right to Google for stuff that she should
not be going to Google for, and that like an
AI for like pull that encyclopedia off the bookshelf and
do it that way.

Speaker 5 (33:14):
Here you have an encyclopedia who has none.

Speaker 2 (33:17):
All right, I'm getting some encycloped to old school my place.

Speaker 5 (33:23):
And Apple's upcoming iOS twenty six update might come with
a very personal safety feature rumored it facetimee tool, the detext.
If you're getting a little too intimate on camera, see
if it senses quote unquote sensitive content. It will now
pause the video and flash a warning with options to
continue or end the call. So basically, if you're trying

(33:45):
to have some adult sexy time on FaceTime, be prepared
to maybe in the call thanks to this warning.

Speaker 2 (33:53):
It's gonna ask you if you're comfortable with this? Yeah,
I'm like, I don't know. Are you comfortable with this?

Speaker 5 (33:58):
Are you can you?

Speaker 4 (34:01):
I'm gonna start making the decision for you.

Speaker 7 (34:03):
It's gonna read the clock two am, and it's gonna
be like called denied all shut.

Speaker 2 (34:07):
Down, I goes you don't want you don't want to
document this this because I'm gonna record it.

Speaker 5 (34:13):
People are reporting already starting to see this roll out
which the sensitive content warning feature can be turned on
or off in the settings area, So just keep that
in mind if you want to make sure it's off
on yours and maybe on on somebody else's. But the
update drops in September, and don't film.

Speaker 2 (34:30):
My golf game either, all right? Sure you want to
see this? Sorry? Are you comfortable with this?

Speaker 3 (34:34):
Right?

Speaker 2 (34:34):
I've already filmed it.

Speaker 5 (34:36):
The one time you don't, though, that's when you're gonna
want to.

Speaker 2 (34:37):
Have a day, right there you go. You want to
comment on any of this stuff? Do you feel comfortable
commenting of this stuff? In the talk back feature of
the free iHeartRadio app. All right, maybe you saw the
first and listen to the first two three Mississippi questions
we've got had on the show this morning. There's one
more coming up.

Speaker 5 (34:56):
Yeah, Producer Acts is about to unleash his in the
nine o'clock hour and something that goes on with one
of those. If not all because Landy at the tickets
to experience the Offspring this Saturday at the Amp and
the month of work swashes to Tommy's Express car wash.

Speaker 2 (35:08):
All right, he's really kind of twiddling his beard and
twisting his mustache right now. We don't know exactly what
the question is going to be, but it has to
do with culinary arts.

Speaker 5 (35:18):
Yeah, it's July is Culinary Arts Month, which basically honors
the hands behind the heats, all right, or cold food
for that matter too. So we sot you.

Speaker 2 (35:28):
All right, look for that coming up here in the
next thirty minutes. That question. Plus you've got a thousand
dollars cash our cartage keyword as well, we roll commercial free.
It's Nirvana. All apologies. On ninety eight Rock white stripes.
It's crashing aj on ninety eight rock. Thanks for listening
however you do and keeping us the thumb away with
the presets is very smart because you're just moments away

(35:50):
from making a thousand dollars play for yourself with cash
carnage A right.

Speaker 5 (35:53):
Yeah, when you have us number one on that preset,
it allows you to just instantly hit ninety eight rock
and then boom, you can text in that keyword right
there on the app, so that we were entered to
win one thousand bucks.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
I mean, it's just that easy. You're literally just about
ninety seconds away from this. Do you see the deer
that was rescued by the I guess the lifeguards in
Flagler Beach.

Speaker 5 (36:15):
Yeah, it happened what over on Sunday. Now it's not
clear how long the deer had been in the water
where it came from, but it was close to drowning.
And do you have some audio that there?

Speaker 2 (36:23):
Chrish, This is the lifeguards talking about it.

Speaker 3 (36:26):
We have a job to you save lives, whether it's
it's a human life or you know, in this case,
a deer.

Speaker 5 (36:32):
I had never hit, like heard a deer before.

Speaker 3 (36:34):
And they yell, they allowed and I got up there,
my bunch Chase was the on scream.

Speaker 2 (36:41):
I was just talking to it and.

Speaker 3 (36:42):
Just you know, like I'm sorry, like I'm here to
help I calm down. There was also two sharks from
out there. The whole time, in my mind, I was
telling myself, we're getting this deer in one player, you know.

Speaker 2 (36:51):
I mean those guys they brought a human. They went
out and say that was a deer.

Speaker 5 (36:56):
Yeah, which the deer was so tired it didn't struggle much,
but they did release it nearby where it took off.
So profit of those guys.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
So if you know that there was a deer out
there and struggling into the water in the ocean, and
there was two sharks out there, would either of us
go run out there? I mean, that's pretty tough. H
That's pretty tough just to say I do say I
did it. Speaking of sharks, I guess there's a new

(37:25):
law something.

Speaker 5 (37:26):
Well, it's going through it's a bill right now. Basically,
it's a shark attack bill that was just unanimously passed
in the Senate. So it still has to go through
the House. It's got to work its way through. But
this bill, where did it go? It is called Lulu's Law,
which is named after Lulu Gribbon, fifteen years old, suffered

(37:48):
a serious shark attack last year up in the Florida Panhandle,
and if it's approved, the new law would direct the
FCC to issue wireless emergency alerts whenever sharks are spotted
in coastal waterways, which I have a feeling will be
a lot around here.

Speaker 2 (38:01):
Yeah, is that is that a I think it's a
good thing.

Speaker 5 (38:06):
I wonder if they're going to apply it to anybody,
like if you're within like a certain yeah, you're like
on the beach, like if you're near the water or
on the water, Like, how that's going to play out?

Speaker 2 (38:16):
There's a good reason for droves that might be one
right there.

Speaker 5 (38:18):
Yeah, actually, but it's going to be going off at Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
St. Pete on ninety eight rockety thanks for listening to
the ninety eight nine ninety eight minutes commercial free And
that's a good spot for a third three Mississippi Tribute question.

Speaker 5 (38:31):
Yeah, which this one is up to producer X. But
before he asked the question, we're going to do a
coin flip between me and Crash and determined who is
going to get to answer the question. First, get out
of here.

Speaker 4 (38:43):
Who do you want?

Speaker 5 (38:44):
You call them? Heads or tails? On this?

Speaker 2 (38:45):
Heads on this?

Speaker 4 (38:46):
All right?

Speaker 5 (38:47):
Heads and ooh heads it is. So do you defer?
Are you going to take it?

Speaker 2 (38:51):
I defer?

Speaker 5 (38:52):
Okay, so I will answer first this go round.

Speaker 2 (38:55):
All right, that's the choice we give.

Speaker 4 (38:56):
Now what a farce?

Speaker 2 (39:00):
All right, producer acts, the stage is yours.

Speaker 7 (39:02):
All right, you guys ready, all right, we're talking about
culinary masterpieces and all that kind of stuff today. And yeah,
I said edible underwear. We're talking about edible underset out
here here. Now we're going edible underwear trivia for this one,
and we're going to just start. We'll call it basic.
I got a two part question. Okay, I'm so.

Speaker 2 (39:21):
Glad I deferred this one. First.

Speaker 7 (39:23):
Your first question is when did the first pair of
edible underwear hit the market? And bonus point of you,
and tell me what the flavor was. But I'll give
you a you know, I'll give you a multiple choice.
A nineteen seventy five, B nineteen eighty three, D nineteen
ninety or sorry, seed nineteen ninety and D nineteen sixty nine.

Speaker 2 (39:47):
All right, this morning, you can tell me what the
flavor was. I reason why?

Speaker 5 (39:59):
All right, oh man, which is did you say ninety ninety?
Was that sea?

Speaker 2 (40:05):
That was? Sure?

Speaker 5 (40:06):
Let's go with see, yeah, you'd be incorrect.

Speaker 4 (40:09):
Incorrect, not nineteen ninety.

Speaker 2 (40:12):
I'm going the year I was born nineteen sixty nine. Hey,
also wrong. I guys know what flavor it was? Strawberry
purple drink?

Speaker 7 (40:24):
Cherry cherry was the correct answer. And it's the first
pair hit the market in nineteen seventy five, all right,
after a couple got a little drunk, smoked a little
some something and said, this is a great idea. Let's
run look at some fruit roll ups and have a
good time. It's running with it.

Speaker 2 (40:41):
Your Apple camera will have something to say about that. Now.

Speaker 4 (40:44):
Sensitively is your sensitive?

Speaker 5 (40:47):
You know, although it might not recognize it if it's
apple flavored? Maybe get away with that.

Speaker 2 (40:52):
I join it you sensitive to sugar? Because yeah, all right,
a good question. All right? That was the third and
final question reais sippy trivia, And now we're gonna test
to you coming up all right?

Speaker 5 (41:02):
Yeah, nine to thirty crash tests to win the offspring
tickets and the month of unlimited work swashes to Tommy's
Express Car Wash with Crash and AJ on naety eight Rock.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
This is the crash test on ninety eight Rock. Well,
we've always said this is an educational program. We prove
it every single day, especially today.

Speaker 5 (41:22):
Yeah, which, you know what some great knowledge dropped with
all of our Culinary Arts trivia today in honor of
Culinary Arts Month, which big thanks to all the professional
cooks and chefs and everybody behind the scenes whipping up
those innovative unique cuisines chef's kiss, oh for sure, and
everybody hustling to bring it to the tables too.

Speaker 4 (41:41):
We still loute you.

Speaker 5 (41:43):
Which, by the way, what we're two of the questions
about today?

Speaker 2 (41:48):
Okay, two out of the three if you know, Yeah, okay.

Speaker 5 (41:52):
First person get it right gets picked up with the
tickets to experience Offspring and Jimmy Girl Saturday taking over

Speaker 9 (42:16):

Speaker 3 (42:17):
So.

Speaker 5 (42:17):

were today for our three Mississippi Trivia?

Speaker 9 (42:22):
I think two out of the three questions were one

what year was edible Underwear created?

Speaker 4 (42:39):
Great job, Do you remember any of the answers.

Speaker 2 (42:42):

by the way, just so you know, all.

Speaker 9 (42:46):
Right, Yeah, wasn't it like seventy ingredients?

Speaker 5 (42:52):

ingredients there I learned about.
