morning long. You know, of course, great moments that happened
with the Bucks, big congratulations their fourth season in a row,
clenching the NFC South title, which is fantastic, and of
course Mike Evans making history once again.
Speaker 5 (06:31):
So I can't wait to ask TJ because you know,
being down there on that field sidelines, he gets to
see what the reaction was when they got the ball
back and had a chance to actually get Mike that
historic catch there.

Speaker 5 (07:21):
It'll be about a twenty percent or about a twenty
degree difference tomorrow about this time with some windy skies.
Speaker 3 (07:26):
There a Jaya woo.
Speaker 6 (07:27):
Hey, Good morning. Crash and the FBI offered an update
about their investigation into New Orleans attack suspect. The man
who carried out the attack on Bourbon Street early New
Year's Morning visited New Orleans twice in the months prior
and even used meta smart glasses to film the street
and plan out the attack. Wow, get this. He also
visited Tampa just months ago from Houston. He traveled to
(07:50):
Tampa on October twenty sixth, and then returned to Houston
two days later. He also traveled to other places including Cairo, Egypt,
and on Ontario, Canada. Excuse me. FBI agents are digging
into what he did on those trips and whether they
tie into the attack. But they also added that there
are potential witnesses that may provide info with those locations,
(08:12):
So investigators are going to be quote unquote making sure
we are speaking to all those individuals where he may
have visited end quote. Unfortunately, officials did not provide any
additional information about the Tampa connection during their news conference.
Speaker 5 (08:25):
Obviously, you think about lots of things, you know, events
coming up. You're going, yeah, make sure that stuff is
all covered here.
Speaker 6 (08:31):
I mean, well, you're not wrong in fact, to Homeland
Security secretary warns of ISIS inspired threats after the attack,
saying that we're now looking at a very difficult threat landscape.
Of course, you know, an agency along with the FBI,
is increasing its attention to so many different events, including
today the Certificational Electoral College votes by Congress they're looking
(08:53):
at that. You know, so many big games that are
coming up, and of course right here locally, I mean
we've got gaspar in a few weeks. Yeah, it's crazy.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
I mean, like that's a lot to make sure that's good.
Speaker 6 (09:05):
Yeah right now, So yeah, how about some good stuff.
Speaker 3 (09:08):
Let's do it.
Speaker 6 (09:08):
Turban Springs tradition is going to be entering its one
hundred and nineteenth year this morning with the annual Epiphany celebration.
Speaker 3 (09:15):
Get ready for it.
Speaker 6 (09:16):
Yeah, it marks the Baptism of Christ and yesterday the
Greek or of the Orthodox Church blessed sponge divers, fishermen
and the boat fleet. And today sixty seventeens are going
to be jumping into the bayou to find the wooden Cross,
which promises a year of blessings.
Speaker 5 (09:34):
It looks crazy every time I see that, all those
kids jumping in looking for that.
Speaker 6 (09:37):
Yeah, right, which it's the largest Epiphany celebration in the
Western hemisphere, and they say, yeah, this one, of course
has a more significant meeting, especially after everything that we've
been through with all the hurricanes within the last few months.
So good luck to everybody out there and safe travels. Hey,
today might be a good day. To arrive home with flowers.
Because the first working Monday at twenty twenty five is
divorce day. It's the day of the year you're most
(10:01):
likely to get dumped.
Speaker 3 (10:04):
Damn huh.
Speaker 6 (10:05):
Stats show January probably does deserve the title of divorce month,
as a study in twenty twenty found the Google searches
for things like quickie divorce more than double coy.
Speaker 5 (10:14):
January googles that quickie got us here a quickie divorce.
Speaker 6 (10:19):
Yeah, the first your working Monday gets to the divorce
day title because the the added stress of getting back
to work and push you know, people over the edge,
they say, I.
Speaker 5 (10:30):
Mean, once you get served part into the holiday, it's
hard to break up with somebody.
Speaker 6 (10:33):
But you know, you know, isn't there the you you know,
the unspecified rule of no day, you know, closing the
dating chapter off before the holidays and not starting it
back up until after Valentine's Day?
Speaker 3 (10:46):
I guess although the divorce lawyers are just stretching out
right now.
Speaker 5 (10:48):
Went to that phone call today, paid y'all breaking a divorce?
Speaker 6 (10:55):
You guys, hear what band has done? Slayer? This according
to carry King, who says Layer is no more. You know,
they played some festival dates last year. They're actually scheduled
to appear Louder than Life later this year, but in
a new Australian interview, he says, quote unquote, you know
we're never going to tour again. We're never going to
make a record again.
Speaker 5 (11:14):
Yeah wow, I mean he's coming here. Cary King as
a solo artist is going to be coming here. Actually yeah.
Speaker 10 (11:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (11:20):
But you know, they did have the you know, retirement
in twenty nineteen, and apparently they're deadly serious about that one.
So hope you got your fix then. And if you're
looking to maybe score some better results on a cognitive test,
go number two, man, Yeah, flush it out. New study
has found that people perform better on cognitive test when
they've pooped just beforehand.
Speaker 5 (11:40):
Makes sense, Yeah, bring you number two, pencil? Do you
number two beforehand? I mean kill let's go yet to
dump out then and then you're clean. You asked me
that question earlier.
Speaker 7 (11:48):
I think a lot clearer right afterwards, because there's a
lot less going on.
Speaker 5 (11:52):
I'm gonna do a field test on this this week
and just see what how clearly I think after my
number two every al throughout the course of the week,
I'll be back on Friday, give you the results up.
As driver's license, you have to take the test hold on,
hold on IQ test before and IQ tests after well.
Speaker 6 (12:06):
According to Science, just as a heads up, reachers and
researchers said that pooping gives your body more energy to
spend on cognition and exercise intensity and I Also they
also recommend pooping sixty to ninety minutes before a big
event for better, faster and smarter decision making.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
There's a window.
Speaker 6 (12:23):
Yeah, so you want better, gone do better on your
golf game. There you go, take it, doll. I figured
it out.
Speaker 3 (12:31):
Makes sense. I figured it out as a matter of fact.
Speaker 5 (12:33):
See if there's a difference between me my cognition now
in the next twenty minutes.
Speaker 3 (12:36):
All right, just out there for you.
Speaker 6 (12:39):
It's ridiculous floating it out there.
Speaker 5 (12:43):

three seven double ninety eight or make sure you drop

Speaker 5 (13:01):
That's TJ Reeves in about an hour as well. So,
I mean there's lots of talk about it's good to
everybody Byton Studio for twenty twenty five for the first
time there.
Speaker 6 (13:11):
Yeah, you know, we had a nice little couple of
week reprieve. I was solo for for a week and
then you guys were you know, we were both on vacation.
Everybody's took vacation over the last couple of weeks. So
we're all back here into twenty twenty five, and we
got so much on the way, including giving you a
heads up. Starting next week, we're gonna have thirteen keywords

And then of course next week we'll even have more
chances freedom we tickets to experience Metallica.
Speaker 5 (13:42):
All right, big twenty twenty five for us man, we're
expecting a big one, great year's good thing. So that happens,
all right, Here's imagine dragons Believer, it's Crashing AJ on
ninety eight Rock Great Day of ninety eight Rock Tampa
Bay's rock station, Crash and AJ live in the studio

forward to twenty twenty five.
Speaker 5 (14:12):
Of course we got the POSHO podcast to by the way,
the first to twenty twenty five.
Speaker 2 (14:16):
Come on out.
Speaker 5 (14:16):
Yeah, we get expand on all this stuff to say, Jane,
it's gonna be talking about But you've got a question.
You can start getting those in INQ right now eight
hundred and seventy three seven double ninety eight talk back
feature the free iHeartRadio app. But lead us into the
weekly Outlook.
Speaker 6 (14:29):
Here we have two things going on.
Speaker 8 (14:31):
The most important thing is Mars, the planet of ego
oriented projection is retrograde today, going backwards from the sign
of Leo where it's been since November third, and it
goes retrograd back into cancer and it's going to be
in cancer for like the next two months or so
so and whenever a retrograd occurs. It's sort of things
(14:51):
you thought were already settled, things are already done. Act
things that you put into motion you find out maybe
not so much, and you get your uniche to refine
some of them to make them better. So stuff you
thought that was done between Labor Day and Thanksgiving you
find out Yep, no, it's not okay.
Speaker 3 (15:05):
Think about that timeline. Everybody out there.
Speaker 8 (15:07):
Kind of yeah, I know, I just got this stink
guy from the right side of the studio and I
deserve it.
Speaker 6 (15:14):
Well no, no, no, it's wild because I was thinking
maybe this was a little bit longer, because there was
something I did over break. I had a big project
I've been working on for the last two weeks for work,
and I just went to open it up and it
completely disappeared. Yes, all the work I did, well gone.
Speaker 10 (15:31):
I'm sure it's somewhere.
Speaker 6 (15:33):
I didn't say, I know, right.
Speaker 10 (15:39):
That kind of thing years going.
Speaker 6 (15:41):
Come on, I thought I was done with that, so surprise. Yeah,
I guess what, No, you know, And I don't even
know what the outcome's going. I don't I can't even
I can't even speculate about what.
Speaker 10 (15:50):
The outcome is going to be.
Speaker 8 (15:51):
I know you asked about football, you know, and it's
sort of like, well, you know, we got the Commander's
coming to town, and the last time they were here
was in September eighth, and I'm thinking, oh.
Speaker 6 (15:59):
Man, that's the day after Labor Day.
Speaker 8 (16:00):
So I would like to think that we beat them
once a wee can beat them again, is my thought
on that.
Speaker 5 (16:04):
Okay, we'll get those, we'll get some we'll plug in
some names, topic stuff throughout the course of the show
and your questions. Let's see what's going on with everybody
signed for the week right now.
Speaker 10 (16:12):
This week brings.
Speaker 8 (16:13):
Mars retrograding from Leo back into cancer, bringing changes and
reversals to matters you thought already settled between Labor Day.
Speaker 10 (16:21):
And Thanksgiving camp record Mars.
Speaker 8 (16:24):
Opposing your sign brings challenges from partners, both intimate and professional.
Speaker 3 (16:29):
Aquarius.
Speaker 8 (16:30):
Problems with work or health matters, perhaps spending since the
fall seem to dog you once again. Pices love and
creativity bills to a fever pitch, and will demand some kind.
Speaker 10 (16:40):
Of outward expression.
Speaker 8 (16:42):
Aries matters at home that you thought settled, especially those
involving water, or foundations pop up.
Speaker 3 (16:49):
Taurus, the pace of your.
Speaker 10 (16:51):
Living becomes more challenging, with more things to do than
time to do them all.
Speaker 8 (16:55):
In Gheremmi, a two month spending spree begins that will
stretch her finances to the breaking point again Cancer Mars.
Going backwards in your sign can slow your role, but
it will give you time to catch up with everything Leo,
women and emotional or ego issues you thought over.
Speaker 10 (17:12):
And done with. Come back with a vengeance.
Speaker 8 (17:15):
Virgo group promises and endeavors once so promising, seem to
backpedal and need revising. Libra, Well, the professional gauntlet is
down and the fight begun after labor Day comes to
the forefront. Scorpio, important issues legal or otherwise take precedence
and demand your in person touch to get resolved. Sagittarius,
(17:37):
the resources that you share with others should be examined
to make sure the numbers all do add up. So
that's what up with the stars with Mars retrograding into cancer.
I am Janet Skialis the Star.
Speaker 5 (17:49):
Goddess radiks the machine on Naughty eight Rock and the
first talkback question for the one and only Star Goddess
coming up here off the talkback feature.
Speaker 6 (17:57):

free iHeartRadio app? All you got to do make sure

Speaker 5 (18:12):

first time in twenty twenty five and talk back feature
question right now for the Star Goddess.
Speaker 12 (18:20):
Here find this out, Good morning. This message is for
Star Goddess. My birthday is for twenty eight, nineteen seventy
and I was looking to head back up north in
a near future. Do you see that happening? Depends on
how time soon? Thank you have a great day.
Speaker 8 (18:36):
Depends on how she defined soon, if looks like today
or tomorrow. No, I don't think that's going to happen,
but I do think she's there not probably not earlier
than Memorial Day, okay, but not later than the fifteenth
of June. And it's a great new start for her, nicely,
and she needs to make sure the person that she's
going there for is on the same page as her.
Speaker 5 (18:56):
Nice it seems like a good star start work there
and in little life coaching at the same time, a
little bit of both.
Speaker 3 (19:03):
All right, there we go eight.
Speaker 5 (19:04):
Hundred and seven three seven double oh ninety eight or

say and what he experiences. History was made with your
Bucks right here on naety eight Rock.
Speaker 5 (19:20):
Well, there's a special moment yesterday for everyone who's a
Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan, a Mike Evans fan, but for
TJ Reeves, the Bucks insider sideline guy, I want to
get his take from his lends yesterday when everybody you,
Mike was going to get the ball, the opponents, the crowd,
the hot dog guy, and how that was all fo
unfolding right there on the sideline. Next few minutes here
with TJ Reeves and the sports Keg of nainety eight Rock, Yeah,
(19:42):
sublime of ninety eight rock, You're home of the Bucks
and sports Keg coming up with TJ Reeves all right, yeah,
we got that.
Speaker 6 (19:47):
But first, hey, in case you missed it, the Bolts
went winless on their three game trip to California and
they've dropped four straight after the four to one loss
to the Ducks last night in Amaheim. The good news
is they're back on home ice tomorrow against the Carolina
her Hurricanes. So we got that to look forward to.
Also the NFL playoffs, so Wildcard weekend schedule has been set,

Speaker 4 (20:41):
Good morning, good morning, happy victory. Playoff making Monday, we
love it again for the Bucks to be the NFC
South champs.
Speaker 2 (20:50):
And you're absolutely right. A crazy day.
Speaker 4 (20:52):
Wasn't pretty for a lot of the game, but give
credit where it's due that when the game mattered, when
you got to the fourth quarter, this team once again delivered,
including Baker Mayfield. And I think you might ask me
shortly about Mike Evans and how all of it worked
out at the very end, almost Hollywood crash and AJ
and producer ex almost Hollywood at the end of that thing.
Speaker 5 (21:14):
Mmm, no doubt about it. You know, the surrounding cast.
Let's before we get into Mike. You know, McMillan, the rookie.
You know, we had so many role players that have
stepped up. You know, Bucky Irving, what was that?
Speaker 13 (21:28):
What was that?
Speaker 3 (21:29):
What was that sideline? Like TJ moments before all that
had happened.
Speaker 4 (21:33):
All right, So when the fourth downplay, I mean there
were so many plays the end when the fourth and eight,
not fourth and one, not fourth and three, about nine
minutes left in the game. When the fourth and eight
happens and McMillan makes the catch, you're standing down there
down nineteen thirteen, going okay, finally you're gonna get the lead.
You're gonna put the pressure on them, and obviously you
(21:54):
did eventually get in the end zone and he made
a spectacular catch right in front of me. Was a
great throw by Mayfield to McMillan, but the toe tap
in the air Jordan's and the retro air Jordan cleat
is an amazing catch in the court of the ends. Okay,
so now you've got the lead and the defense eventually
gets the stop, and then you know what's coming, and
they know what's coming.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
Bucky, Bucky, Bucky.
Speaker 4 (22:16):
The thing I want to point out on a Monday
morning on the ninety ninety eight Rock is this guy's
never played seventeen games in a season before, and he
is still fresh, and he is still ramming through defenders
and getting extra yards and getting to the outside in
twenty and thirty yard and forty yard plays. Incredible to watch.
(22:37):
And then that set the drama into motion for the end. Now,
now what I have to know, because I haven't heard
your takes, I've heard a lot of other takes. Did
you guys believe that hope was lost?
Speaker 2 (22:47):
Because I think most.
Speaker 4 (22:47):
People believe hope was lost on the one thousand yard
season for Mike Evans, especially when the Saints still.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Had the ball at the very end.
Speaker 6 (22:55):
It was it was a nail bider. It was a
nil binder. But I was praying hope in DC could
get things done and could turn it around so that
way we could get it done for Mike.
Speaker 5 (23:04):
I was just like to count my fingers and toes, going,
how many seconds do you got? Yeah, you know, the
ball back for Mike to have that shot, because you knew,
you know, you know, beer got you and everybody knew
a TJ.
Speaker 4 (23:15):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
Absolutely.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
When when Irving scored the touchdown, I looked at Baker
and I don't know if TV showed this because I
haven't seen the full TV replay, and he looked to
the sky and shrugged his shoulders, like, oh my god,
we're not going to get the ball back and he's
going to be five yards short. So then you do
see and I saw this on the TV replays when
they stopped him on fourth down, Baker jumped up, threw
(23:40):
the tonnel down, put the helmet on, like we are
going to get him five more yards. Whatever we have
to do, we're gonna get him five more yards. And
I can tell you that having done this for as
long as I've done this, this is my twentieth year
on the sideline, there is not a crazier ending to
win the game at home, make the playoffs and set
(24:02):
that kind of record as the final play to run
the clock out again.
Speaker 2 (24:07):
The list, the list of players.
Speaker 4 (24:10):
With a thousand yard receiving seasons eleven years in a
row is Jerry.
Speaker 2 (24:14):
Rice and Mike Evans. That's why they went so crazy.
Speaker 4 (24:18):
Last yesterday afternoon and right after that game, the players
on the sideline the stadium, if you stuck around, this
is why you don't leave. If you stuck around, What
a moment, What a moment to be part.
Speaker 2 (24:30):
Of that guy?
Speaker 6 (24:30):
Ain't that the truth? Which, by the way, also congratulations
to Baker Mayfield, who became the fourth player in NFL
history to record a season with four thousand plus passing yards,
forty plus touchdowns in seventy plus completion percentage, which he
now joins Drew Brees, Joe Burrow, and Aaron Rodgers for that.
And he also became the tenth player in NFL history
to throw for whatever forty five hundred yards and forty
(24:52):
plus passing touchdowns and a single season alongside Tom Brady,
Drew Brees, Joe Burrow, Aaron Rodgers, Dan Marino, Peyton Manning,
Patrick Mahomes, Andrew Luck and Matthew Stafford.
Speaker 2 (25:02):
Wow, listen to the knowledge. Listen to the knowledge.
Speaker 4 (25:06):
And by the way, if you don't think that guy's
a leader, look at him in his own territory on
third and long.
Speaker 2 (25:14):
Say I'm gonna go get this myself and take.
Speaker 4 (25:16):
Off running, making like crash on the football field back
in the day.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Get out of my way.
Speaker 4 (25:23):
I'll go get the first down. And that's the reason
why this team looks to him and rallies around him.
And after the game we were interviewing him here on
ninety eight Rock at Buccaneers Radio and he said, I
gotta go because he wanted to go. Get over in
the photo with the offensive line wearing the NFC South
championship shirts in the locker room, because they have that
kind of bond. He has that toinn of respect. So
(25:44):
it was just wild to be part of.
Speaker 2 (25:48):
A lot of fun. And now we get to say
the P word playoffs again.
Speaker 4 (25:53):
For the fifth straight year, this team is in the playoffs,
hosting the Washington Commanders next Sunday night.
Speaker 7 (26:01):
TJ real quick. First off, did you cry when Mike
Evans caught that ball? I really need you now, being
as close.
Speaker 3 (26:06):
As you are with the team. You're right there. It's emotional.
Speaker 10 (26:09):
Did you do it? DJ?
Speaker 2 (26:11):
I am not a crier, but I laughed.
Speaker 4 (26:14):
I held on now.
Speaker 2 (26:16):
I laugh.
Speaker 4 (26:17):
I maybe even laugh at inappropriate times. I laughed when
I saw him get open, Producer X, I was laughing.
Speaker 2 (26:27):
Before the pass was to play off, like he's got
to get it.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
I'm laughing, And it was again kind of almost surreal
because he catches it, he breaks the tackle, Jeans.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
Yelling on the radio call.
Speaker 4 (26:40):
The crowd is roaring, and you feel so good for
this guy in all seriousness, the things that he had
done in this community with his wife, their foundation, the
fact that he wanted to come back here when he
was a free agent. Remember the offseason, all the talk was, Oh,
he's got to go play for the Houston Texans, or
what happens if if the Atlanta Falcons sign him, or
or Mike wanted to be here. Mike wants to finish
(27:01):
his career as a buccaneer, go into the Hall of
Fame having only played as a buccaneer, So for that guy,
a great guy to get this record.
Speaker 2 (27:10):
This is all time stuff.
Speaker 4 (27:11):
We're gonna be talking about Mike Evans ten years from
now and twenty five years from now and beyond and
the stuff that we're seeing right now in the present.
Enjoy it, Buccaneer fans. And that that was some serious
history to watch that happen on Sunday afternoon at Raymond
James date.
Speaker 5 (27:27):
We should have known that you laugh at an inappropriate moment.
We played golf with you, so we know that practically
that time.
Speaker 4 (27:32):
Yeah, exactly, Rather than me throwing a club down and cursing,
I just laugh as I donug Cook won one hundred
and fifty yards into the woods.
Speaker 3 (27:40):
Let's let's talk playoffs going up here next week here.
Speaker 2 (27:44):
All right?
Speaker 4 (27:44):
So the Commanders. We began the season with the Washington
Commanders and uh, Jayden Daniels and the Bucks gotta win,
and it turned out that was huge. All the wins
were huge down the stretch of the season. And so
now you begin the playoffs with who Jadan Daniels in
the Washington Commanders. And I like the chances here, of course?
What am I gonna say? Of course I like the
chances of the fact that Washington's got a rookie quarterback.
(28:08):
Now you turn it up in playoff time, the Buccaneers
are rolling offensively. This just end of the newsroom, over
and over and over again. Touchdowns, especially in the second half.
What an offensive season. So this is gonna be a
lot of fun. Get your tickets and be jacked and
be ready to go.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
I just will leave you with this.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
Four seasons ago, Tom Brady shows up. The Buccaneers went
on a run to win the Super Bowl. It began
with a playoff win over the Washington football team, the
Washington Commanders. Now here we are four years later. You're
back in the playoffs. Let's make another playoff run, starting against.
Speaker 6 (28:45):
The Washington commander And four seems to be the number
because this is the fourth time that Tampa Bay and
Washington have met in postseason. And of course it's going
down this Sunday, eight pm. You could hear it all
right here in your home for the Bucks. With the course,
the one and only TJ. Rims are Buck sideline guy.
Thank you for joining us today.
Speaker 2 (29:01):
Man, great to be with you. Enjoy it, Buccaneer fans.
Let's go to the playoffs, shall we go?
Speaker 5 (29:09):

ass end of that on the posthow podcast, you can

Speaker 7 (31:15):
Thought it was going to be that easy, Like he
sees him swerving, knows he's going to jail. Do you

curious to know how are things looking for him? Another Janet.
Speaker 8 (32:12):
He is a Sagittarian with the moon and virgo, so
I don't think he's going to be easy to beat.
Speaker 10 (32:17):
But I think at the end of the day we win.
Speaker 6 (32:19):

and then you got the winds and breeze and coldness
(33:10):
settling in. They got lows in the thirties in the
parts of our listening area.
Speaker 6 (33:14):
Mari Day, good morning, Hey, good morning, and careful of
them iguanas.
Speaker 10 (33:18):
Hey.
Speaker 9 (33:19):
Heads up.
Speaker 6 (33:19):
The FBI, in case you missed it, offered an update
yesterday about their investigation into the New Orleans attack suspect. Now,
the man who carried out the attack on Bourbon Street,
New Orleans early New Year's Morning visited the New Orleans
visited New Orleans twice in the months prior and used
meta smart glasses to film the street and plan out
the attack. Now, get this, He also visited Tampa just
(33:41):
months ago. He came from Houston, traveled to Tampa on
October twenty sixth, and returned to Houston two days later.
FBI also says that he traveled to other places including Caro, Egypt, Cairo,
Egypt in Ontario, Canada. Now, FBA agents are digging into
what he did on those trips, whether they into the attack.
(34:01):
But they did add quote unquote that there are potential
witnesses that may provide info with these locations, so investigators
are going to make sure that they're speaking to all
those individuals where he may have visited. They did not
specify or give any more additional information about the Tampa
connection during their news conference yesterday.
Speaker 5 (34:19):
And with the smart glasses, I mean, you could send
that information anywhere that you're what you're seeing, you get that,
whatever your data you're bringing in, whatever kind of surveillance
you're trying to take. You could send that to anybody
with his glasses right.
Speaker 6 (34:31):
There, which only in security. Their secretary is now warning
of ISIS inspired threats after this attack. You know, So
keep your head, you know, keep keep your heads up,
so to speak. Yeah, be cautious. A lot of things
happening right now.
Speaker 3 (34:44):
And uh, you know this is a big month for gatherings.
Speaker 6 (34:48):
Yeah, especially radio and Dampa Bay. How about this one,
Jane's addiction recording new music. Well, most of the band
is bassis, Eric Avery, drummer Stephen Perk, guitarists Dave Navarro.
They're all working on stuff together without Perry Ferrell. Imagine that, which,
(35:08):
in case you missed it, the band had to cancel
the remaining tour dates last year after Perry got into
an altercation on stage with Dave Navarro during a show.
Speaker 3 (35:16):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (35:17):
So yeah, looks like hasn't been patched up yet.
Speaker 5 (35:20):
Well, if you've been in any type of band or
any kind of group like that for any length of time,
there's going it was gonna be somebody that's kind of
a weekly wheel that seems to loosen it up for you.
I'm hoping they patch it up and get back together.
But there's literally fisticuffs thrown on the stage earlier this
late twenty twenty four.
Speaker 6 (35:37):
Yeah, how about this one. The Vultbeats they've got new
music on the way. In fact, they say their recording
for a new album is done. This according the guitarist
and vocalist Michael Paulson. He shared the message online saying,
quote unquote, the new Volbeat record has been recorded. It's done.
It'll be out in twenty twenty five.
Speaker 3 (35:53):
That's cool.
Speaker 6 (35:53):
Yeah, no where on when, but we'll keep you updated
on that. The Breaking Bad house on the market forget
this four million dollars. Wow, wow, it's current estimation three
hundred and fifty thousand.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
Yeah yeah, but you got to check the walls. The
walls were so much more.
Speaker 2 (36:11):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (36:12):
Whatever's stuck to the walls is an Arizona or something?
Speaker 11 (36:15):
Is it?
Speaker 13 (36:15):
Like?
Speaker 6 (36:15):
It's in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and it's been there for
more than five decades. But the owners have had enough.
You know, they're selling the house because they're tired of
all the attention against.
Speaker 3 (36:25):
Breaking Bad tour comes by your house.
Speaker 6 (36:27):
They say it gets on an average three hundred cars
a day, Oh my god. And the family had to
put up a fence to keep fans from getting too
close and of course from tossing pizzas on the roof.
So fans were coming up, they were trying to get
a peek back, you know, behind you know, the backyard,
to see the pool which doesn't exist that was shot elsewhere.
Speaker 3 (36:46):
Realize that they don't have a pool.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
Yeah, why not?
Speaker 9 (36:49):
Five bucks ahead? Your house is paid for in thirty minutes.
Speaker 6 (36:52):
Man, I'm surprised they didn't like try and like Vampa
and turn it into a breaking bad you know Airbnb.
Speaker 9 (37:00):
Something hours are ten am, the breaking that experience.
Speaker 6 (37:03):
Yeah, but if you buy it for four million, who knows,
maybe you can do that. So and uh, here's another
reason not to believe everything you see on the internet.
Somebody on Reddit posted in a video of a crash
UFO and guess what it was? AI generated And it
looks so real that it's got people saying that they'll
never trust footage of anything ever again. And once you
(37:23):
see it, I think you can understand why. I mean,
it does look pretty legit. The audio everything, I mean,
reflection of people and cameras right now in the spaceship.
It's nuts.
Speaker 5 (37:34):
Okay, Yeah, I mean you know why wouldn't you think
that's real? I mean, besides the fact that this UFO
sit right there, right, it's gonna be there's gonna be
a point where you're gonna go, all right, I just
saw a news report on the news.
Speaker 3 (37:49):
Is that real? That's that's coming at some point?
Speaker 7 (37:52):
Right to go check your two verified sources, make sure
that they check they are verified.
Speaker 3 (37:57):
Nope, Yeah, God's willa is coming out of the water
is real? I don't know.
Speaker 5 (38:01):
Google yeah, google it right. All right, So we got
for you want to comment on any of this stuff.
Hit the talk back feature of the free iHeartRadio up
and you got a but a full hour to get
your questions in. The Star gouttists for the first time
at twenty twenty five with all this in the studio here.
Speaker 3 (38:14):
So do that and we'll check that coming here. You're
ninety nine on coming out during.
Speaker 5 (38:18):
Your ninety eight at nine when I sh crashing, itll
everybody back in the studio for the first time in
twenty twenty five. We appreciate you guys listening, and we
got to talk back for the Star Goddess right now,
see what's going on there?
Speaker 6 (38:31):
This question is for Star Goddess my birthday is Augue
thirty four.
Speaker 2 (38:36):
I want to know if I'm going to pass my
big test today.
Speaker 3 (38:40):
Got a big test, star Goddess.
Speaker 9 (38:42):
Actually I think she will.
Speaker 6 (38:43):
She is a virgo, and I think that the most
important thing is not to overthink it.
Speaker 10 (38:49):
That's the thing.
Speaker 6 (38:49):
Go with her first or first answer.
Speaker 10 (38:51):
But yeah, I'm cautiously optimistic that she passes.
Speaker 6 (38:54):
Which, by the way, I don't know if you've heard
earlier this morning in the first Morning Quickie, we were
talking about how a new study has found the people
actually perform better on cognitive tests when they poop just beforehand. Yeah,
they believe that, I measure that well. It also to
sign yeay. Researchers believe that pooping gives your body more
(39:14):
energy to spend on cognition and exercise intensity, and they
recommend pooping sixty to ninety minutes before a big event
are a big tests for better, faster and smarter decision making.
Speaker 5 (39:25):
Okay, I was going to see if I can implement
that somehow in the show, to see if I could
feel test it. But I performance anxiety in there earlier,
so I yeah, right, I'll tell you tomorrow.
Speaker 13 (39:35):
I guess.
Speaker 5 (39:37):
All right, So we'll go over what we learned coming
up here in the next twenty minutes. We got this
Papa Roach tickets for giving away as well. Here is uh,
this is a this is not planned, but it dead
and bloated for some reason that came up here. So
it's pilots Yay Rock Tampa Bayed Rock Station Crash AJ
producer Rex Star Goddess in the studio today on this
the sixth of January twenty five, and so I guess
(40:01):
we overgo for what we learned here.
Speaker 3 (40:04):
For the first time before the first crash test is
this is the first crash test of twenty twenty five.
Speaker 5 (40:10):
It is school's back in session. So think about something
that happened on the show. And when it comes to
question time at nine thirty, we've got what Popa Roach
tickets were giving away.
Speaker 7 (40:21):
We sure knew ninety eight Rock Presents Popa Road Tries
against Under Oath all coming to the Amp later this year.
Speaker 3 (40:27):
We got the hookup all.
Speaker 5 (40:28):
Right, it just should be here in just a second
preceres we're gonna give you the first stab at it.
Speaker 3 (40:33):
What'd you learn too?
Speaker 9 (40:35):
Yeah, that's great?
Speaker 6 (40:37):
You know what I learned?
Speaker 9 (40:38):
Did we talk about divorce day at all.
Speaker 5 (40:40):
It is divorce day. Yeah, we talked about it the
first morning a y. I know, we talk about a
lot of things are in the studio. Sometimes it's hard
to remember what makes the air on. But it's divorce day.
Number one day of the year from breakups.
Speaker 12 (40:51):
Jeris.
Speaker 7 (40:52):
Yeah, everybody's made it through New Year's, Christmas, Thanksgiving. Now's
the window before Valentine's Day.
Speaker 3 (41:00):
There's a brief window here.
Speaker 9 (41:01):
So brief window is like a week. You gotta do
it the first week of January.
Speaker 5 (41:05):
So well, you don't want to break up somebody during
the holidays, and so before the holidays you decide where
you're going to stay with them, make in tough it
through the holidays, and then this is the time today.
Speaker 3 (41:13):
Where it's all ended all day.
Speaker 6 (41:15):
I did not know that.
Speaker 5 (41:16):
Yeah, it's if you're a divorce lawyer, this is probably
you're sitting by the phone waiting for some action right now.
It's like, I already spell my credit cards.
Speaker 3 (41:24):
I need to pay these off. Dang it. All right,
that bes said. That's what I learned. All right? What
you learn the show if there star got it?
Speaker 8 (41:32):
If you if you get into a fistfight with your band,
you will be left off the new album.
Speaker 6 (41:39):
Even if you're even if you're like the lead singer.
Speaker 9 (41:41):
They're like, if you're the lead singer, you're out of
the band.
Speaker 10 (41:45):
It's like, wait a minute, if formed that, bay, we
don't care.
Speaker 5 (41:47):
Yeah, guys from Jane's addiction, looks everybody but Perry is
getting together and uh, you know.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
New music getting music together.
Speaker 8 (41:54):
Oh yeah, I can't bunch. Can't bunch one of your
band makes it turns out no sense of humor.
Speaker 3 (41:58):
Any you want back in the band. We got a
new album stuff.
Speaker 8 (42:00):
Sure, Irish Irish guys can do that, can't they. Yeah
they're Irish.
Speaker 10 (42:03):
Guys that for a long time. But Oasis, Oh yeah.
Speaker 2 (42:12):
That, yes, you do that.
Speaker 3 (42:13):
Okay, all right, what did you learn of the show today?
Speaker 6 (42:16):
Well I'm not sure what all you learned on the
show today. So you know, hey, Slayer, in case you
missed it, they could put hope you got to see
them while they were out and about, because Carrie King
said a new interview that they are done. You know,
they still got their Louder than life of you know
appearance happening later this year.
Speaker 5 (42:30):
But that's it, that's it for them. I learned that, Hey,
you want to really be on top of your game
and be a real smart guy. Make sure you do
number two, all right, go number two first, because studies
are in. You do number two before you do anything
that you need some serious cognition on. Apparently it plays
off really well in your favorite of that. All right,
So I learned that too, but I figured that's where
(42:52):
you were going.
Speaker 3 (42:53):
There you go, I think we all learned that.
Speaker 2 (42:54):
We did.
Speaker 5 (42:55):
Tampa Bay's rock station naughty, ain't rock your home for
the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Speaker 3 (42:59):
Let's go ahead and play again.
Speaker 11 (43:00):
Mike Evit drifts over to the left, slide Baker Mayfield, shotgun.
They know what we're gonna do. The Baker Mayfield looks
those of all to Cordball Evans. He's got it to
a forty yard line? What thousand plus, Mike Evans, eleven
seasons in a row? How about the Buccaneers at number thirteen?
Speaker 5 (43:17):
There you go, man, that was nice, And then you
know you're wondering. Everybody knew he's gonna get the ball.
I mean, everybody knew that. And what's Mike Evans thinking
right now? And he talked about in the post game.
Speaker 13 (43:28):
I was hold, we'd get a stop because I can't
pass up history, and Coach Bowles didn't want to let
it pass up or Liam. So I'm happy that they
had me go out there and get that because it's
it's been hard to do for illmonistraight years. And to
be Toddy one of the if not the greatest receiver
of all time, it means a lot to me and
my family.
Speaker 3 (43:47):
Had great conversation with TJ Reeves. He was down the
sideline for all that.
Speaker 5 (43:50):
And you know, one thing We'll say, we've had interactions
with Mike for the past seven years here, and he's
not a typical wide receiver energy type. This guy is
so real and so locked into his family in the community.
It's a joey that we're witnessing right here.
Speaker 6 (44:07):
He's a generational player. He really is an incredible humanitarian,
just all around great guy.
Speaker 2 (44:12):
Man.
Speaker 6 (44:12):
Couldn't happen to a better guy. And I'm so excited
for him, so happy for him, and so thankful that
the Bucks were able to get it done and make
it happen for him yesterday well deserved, which in case
you missed it, you know he finished the season with
seventy four receptions for one thousand and four receiving yards
and eleven receiving touchdowns, and recording his eleventh straight one
thousand yard season. He now extends his own NFL record
(44:35):
for the longest longest such streak to begin a player's career.
Speaker 7 (44:40):
You know, I was looking at some stats earlier and
they went through. He even said it in the press conference.
It's not the first time he's gotten it. On the
last drive against the Saints. Oh really, I want to
say twenty seventeen. He brought back up during that press conference.
Some benchmark, some benchmark days. But there are plenty, plenty
of years that he was going through where he's like,
I hated the last Dame, the last game there, the
last game.
Speaker 3 (45:01):
Wow.
Speaker 6 (45:02):
Yeah, which you know what, Big congratulations to him, Big
congratulations to so many of our box that had what
hell of a season, including Baker Mayfield, who became the
fourth player in NFL history to record a season with
four thousand plus passing yards, forty plus touchdowns, and seventy
plus completion percentage, joining Drew Brees, Joe Burrow, and Aaron Rodgers.
He also became the tenth player in NFL history to
throw for over forty five hundred yards and forty passing touchdowns,
(45:25):
joining Tom Brady, Drew Brees, Joe Burrow, Andrew Luck, Patrick Mahomes,
Peyton Manning, Dan Marino, Aaron Rodgers, and Matthew Stafford all
in a single season.
Speaker 3 (45:33):
That's amazing right there.
Speaker 8 (45:35):
He has come full circle since he got drafted number one. Honestly, Yeah,
I think it's just amazing.
Speaker 5 (45:41):

things like quickie divorce more than double every January.
