Speaker 5 (03:04):
You'll be smarter after the show. Yeah right, So I

There was a coin flip before the MIC's were cracked.
Who won the coin flip?
Speaker 6 (03:16):
Me?

Speaker 2 (03:23):
All right? All right, all right, here we go. Okay,
We'll let me get a nice little set up here
for you. All right.
Speaker 5 (03:37):
A Pantera song was featured on the Tails from the
crypt Demon Night soundtrack back in the nineties. On this one,
what was the song? It was the first track on
the soundtrack, Oh.
Speaker 6 (03:55):
Dang oh on the soundtrack to Tales from the.
Speaker 2 (03:57):
Cryp Demon Night.
Speaker 5 (03:58):
Ye, very popular, uh, Pantera.
Speaker 2 (04:04):
So I'm gonna go ahead and give you what you
better get this.
Speaker 6 (04:15):
Right, I'm gonna go with Cowboys from Hell.
Speaker 5 (04:23):
Cowboys from Hell is not the answer, okay, all right,
all right, wasn't the first big head but you know,
all right, Greece Rex.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
I mean, I'm gonna go with Walk Walk on this one.
Speaker 3 (04:39):
With walk, I don't know, man, tales from the year
in the nineties, I might have been learning, all right,
Uh is this unsolved? Then?
Speaker 6 (04:50):
All right? I guess it.
Speaker 2 (04:51):
I guess so it's unsolved.
Speaker 5 (04:53):
All right, So there's somebody out there is going I
know the answer that well maybe nine thirty this will
pop up for the crash test question.
Speaker 2 (04:58):
Who knows. But you got two more three Mississippi trivia
questions coming up?
Speaker 6 (05:02):
All right, we certainly do. And of course more stuff
for you guys to win all day long. And I'm

Manson on ninety eight Rock. Good morning.

Something for you to take into your day here on

Speaker 2 (05:33):
AHM.
Speaker 5 (05:43):
New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings. From the philosopher,
I always have a hard time this guy's name Laos
Is it laosu loudso.
Speaker 6 (05:58):
Thinks so Lau sue.
Speaker 5 (06:01):
Yeah, there's a lot of them, But new beginnings are
often disguised as painful ending.
Speaker 6 (06:08):
Oh say that one more time for those in the back.
Speaker 2 (06:12):
New beginnings are often disguised as painful endings.
Speaker 5 (06:17):
Everybody's got that picture in their mind and that experience
in their life of that painful ending that really turned
out to be something life changing, as a new beginning
that you've trended up with ever since.
Speaker 6 (06:31):
Yeah, better than you could have ever imagined.
Speaker 5 (06:35):
Yeah, so think about that. Some of you're going through
that right now, some of you experienced it. Maybe you
can tutor somebody who needs to get the tutoring and
coaching on that whole thing, all right, yeah, and I'll
work on the pronunciation of laosu's net last there you go,
la suit Sue said that take that in your day,
my friends.
Speaker 2 (06:56):
That's your daily nuggets.
Speaker 5 (06:57):
In the morning Quickie on ninety eight raw brought to
you by Barjo Ford. Otherwise, it's been a rain pretty
consistently over the past what four days or so, eighty
eight you're high, seventy five is low. Looks like we
have some more sunshine today though than we had over
the past few days. There aj currently the seventy five degrees.
Speaker 6 (07:19):
Good morning, Hey, good morning, And it looks like Lakeland
is going to be the latest city in pol County
now installing cameras to stop drivers from speeding in school zones.
They did a study last man and found over three
thousand instances per day in which drivers were just speeding
through the school zones. So they say the camera is
going to be installed in the school zones that have
(07:40):
the greatest number of offending drivers, and that includes Crystal Lake
Elementary and Middle School, Lincoln Avenue Academy, Philip O'Brien Academy,
Southwest Middle, North Lakeland Elementary, Lakeland High Lakeland Highlands Middle
and Sleepy Hill Elementary. Now these cameras will be in
placed by October first, and they say if you're going
eleven miles per or above the speed limit, that's it.
(08:01):
You're getting one hundred dollars citation, although there will be
a thirty day education period before the tickets are issued.
Speaker 2 (08:07):
Love education.
Speaker 5 (08:09):
Have you guys noticed on you like your ways. I
don't know if you use navigation stuff, but the speed
camera's been coming up on your navigation recently.
Speaker 6 (08:17):
Seen speed cameras as much, but like you know, other
different things that are happening on the roads. But yeah,
but that's cool.
Speaker 5 (08:22):
Yeah, mine's been coming up, like you will tell you, hey,
speed camera coming up And usually it's like one of
these types of situations where it's a school zone.
Speaker 3 (08:29):
So I'm surprised that they just haven't started putting those
own the highway.
Speaker 2 (08:32):
Just speed cameras. Let's not do that. No, no, don't
put that on.
Speaker 5 (08:37):
I'm just started doing that. We have technology. What's going
on one hundred miles an hour down the highway? Try
to get to work exactly.
Speaker 6 (08:47):
For the first time at over fifty years, the surviving
members of the original Alice Cooper Band have gotten together
in the studio to record an album, The Revenge of
Alice Cooper, will be released on July twenty fifth, but
a couple of videos teasing the new album have already
hit the internet, including yesterday a song wildwone Wild Ones
was dropped on YouTube which shows the band in action
(09:08):
right there in studio. The last album the original band
released was nineteen seventy three's Muscle of Love, and the
only original member who's not present as well, Glenn Buxton,
who passed away in nineteen ninety seven, Rest in peace, right,
ah So. New research shows that AI language models like
(09:29):
GPT four, Claude and Gemini can tell when they're being
tested and change how they act.
Speaker 5 (09:35):
I was reading this, This is like pretty fascinating right here.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (09:39):
They say these models often behave more safely during tests
than they do in real world use, similar to how
Volkswagen cars cheated a mission test in twenty fifteen. The
researchers used one thousand conversation transcripts from various data sets
to check how well AI spots test.
Speaker 3 (09:55):
Now.
Speaker 6 (09:55):
When told a conversation was a test, the clon three
point seven saw on it was ninety three percent accurate
and knowing it, and GPT four point one was eighty
nine percent accurate. But without hints, they're accuracy dropped, especially
GPT four point ones that dropped to fifty five percent.
Speaker 5 (10:14):
Analogy and human beings A like like your parents ask
you eat all your vegetables?
Speaker 2 (10:19):
Yes, I did, mean do you spin them out? In
what's happening right now?
Speaker 5 (10:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 6 (10:22):
Your fingers crossed behind the back all that. That's exactly that.
Speaker 5 (10:26):
A I basically adjusting and being okay, this is what
I'm doing. I'm doing fine, yes, and then wow, I mean,
what's how is that gonna?
Speaker 6 (10:35):
I mean it makes sense. I mean just like what
we were talking about was some of the stuff with
AI yesterday. You know how it's even some of the
AI programs are re writing when they're being told to
shut down, that they're not doing it, that they're going
around it.
Speaker 5 (10:45):
You're rumba, by the way, like you rumba, you're those
at vacuums around the house right there. You know, all
of a sudden they find out you're about to come home.
The look at they look at the clock. Oh I
gotta get this cleaned up. No, no, I.
Speaker 6 (11:00):
Mean it's insane.
Speaker 2 (11:02):
It's weirder.
Speaker 6 (11:03):
It is just at that microwave a while back that
was telling it's you know, owner to come inside, Come here,
come here, turned on eout some good stuff. The nineteen
ninety five cinematic classic Tommy Boy is gonna be turning
thirty this year, and guess what it's getting its own
celebration in San Dusky, Ohio. Tommy Boyfest goes down August
(11:26):
seventh through the ninth. Obviously, Chris Farley can't be there,
but it looks like David Spade doesn't so far. In fact,
no stars from the movie are scheduled to be there,
but the director is, along with the actual car from
the movie. They say activities will include movie screenings, live music,
a classic car show lookalike contest, and Tommy Want a
(11:47):
Wingy throwdown?
Speaker 2 (11:50):
Nice.
Speaker 5 (11:51):
Yeah, trying to think of any other movie. I'd like
to have something similar like that, like an.
Speaker 2 (11:55):
Event like that.
Speaker 6 (11:56):
Pulp fiction for you.
Speaker 5 (11:57):
Pulp fiction would be really good. Matrix would be really good.
Speaker 6 (12:01):
Matrix Tommy Boyfests that would be pretty awesome, and there'd
be some good item Sandler flicks would be fun with
us too.
Speaker 2 (12:07):
We gotta add Cowtippin'.
Speaker 5 (12:11):
Logo cowtipp In movie all right, And of course if
you want to interact with us on any of this stuff,
you know, maybe you have your own ideas, what movie
you see a festival you'd like to see a festival on?

do end up going to the pop up shop, parking
over there's tough. It's anybore. If there's no not a
whole lot of parking around, so just be prepared to
maybe walk for a little bit to find a parking
spot and walk a couple of blocks. But it's right
off a seventh Aven Am and.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
You'll be hosting an event yourself.
Speaker 6 (13:13):

of Metallica and everything that's gone on with the different
concert shirts and every little nuance you've seen. This is
the guy, yeah, and the storylines behind all the art too, oh.
Speaker 6 (13:48):

Speaker 5 (14:04):
Another three Mississippi trivia question coming up. I believe A
Jay's got this one coming up as well. In the
seven o'clock hour. Here's thirty minutes away. Look out for
that starting off commercial free Rock. Now, that's around a
little bit with cypers Hill on naty eight Rock. That's
Green Day on Tampa Bay's rock station, ninety eight Rocks,
crashing AJ free on the iHeartRadio app, and fun Talkable
(14:28):
this morning.
Speaker 6 (14:29):
Yeah, people are talking about the poor people habits They
claim that they'll never stop doing no matter how much
money they occur over their lifetime.
Speaker 5 (14:37):
I grew up in a lower middle income family and
there's a lot of thriftiness going on, so I totally
understand this, and there are some habits, like I said,
I will never ever stop doing. But we have an
idea on the talkback feature of the free iHeartRadio have
to kick this off here.
Speaker 6 (14:51):
Good on, y'all. I think one day I wouldn't be
able to give up this. The fact that most of
my temple wears is country rocks.
Speaker 5 (15:00):
Yeah, day you go here, there's your plates right there,
your country cock ball there.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
But I get soup in that thing right there.
Speaker 6 (15:07):
That was my child did right there.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
For sure.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
There was a little sour cream bowls that oh yeah,
that was a solad bowl.
Speaker 2 (15:13):
That was that is what it was.
Speaker 6 (15:16):
Anything. And then even some of like the canned goods
that came in the glass jars were using for yeah,
jars exactly exactly.
Speaker 3 (15:23):
We had little jelly jars that your animal prints on
them and they turned into two cups.
Speaker 2 (15:29):
There you go, there you go.
Speaker 5 (15:30):
Nothing nothing can be there's nothing there, not a whole
lot that you can't use again. Uh, we should really
think about it there. But maybe you got some ideas
on that. You can hit the talk back feature like
you did or eight hundred and seven three seven double
Low ninety eight bex. I know there's some thrifty people
out there who got some stuff going on.
Speaker 6 (15:47):
Okay, oh yeah, we'd love to hear it as we
can see you on with System of It down on
Crashing Agent. Good Morning, Red Hot Chili.
Speaker 5 (15:55):
Peppers give it Away on Tampa Bay's Rock Station ninety
eight rocks crash Jay. Looking at this list of what
is a quote poor people have it You'll never stop
doing no matter how rich you get.
Speaker 6 (16:05):
All right, Yeah, people are sounding off online. For instance,
what I am so always doing checking the clearance section
of clothing stores doesn't matter, it never fails. I'm actually
a clearance shopper. That's what I pretty much do is
buy clothes from the clearance action.
Speaker 2 (16:19):
Go from there.
Speaker 5 (16:20):
It's so funny you say that, because you know my
daughter's getting married, uh huh next Friday. And so I
went to get a tux from a suit from one
of those places to sell them. Yeah, And I was like,
there's no way in hell paying eight hundred bucks for
a tux or I'm not doing it right.
Speaker 2 (16:36):
So I'm piecing it together, not piece together.
Speaker 5 (16:38):
Pretty good tucks nice from doing exactly that, finding these Yeah,
you know, besides anybody that's going to that wedding that's
listening right now, I got some clearance stuff on there,
and damn suit looks pretty good, right Yeah.
Speaker 6 (16:52):
And you know it's fun actually putting together that mission
to find these different pieces and staples that you can
end up reusing. And I've done that so many times
over the years too. Something we're talking about your yard sales,
like between yard sales or actually I am such a
bargain shopper like goodwill store, retail, you know, reusable shops.
I grew up doing that stuff and that's still one
of my favorites and something that my pants down I
(17:13):
bonded on long ago.
Speaker 2 (17:15):
I will never stop looking for golf balls in the leg,
so I can tell you that right now. That are all.
Speaker 5 (17:21):
Right, We'll get back to that coming up here in
just a little bit if you want to hit a
talk back there eight hundred and seven three seven double
oh ninety eight. We got our second question for three
Mississippi Trivia coming up here just minutes away on ninety
eight Rock Waity. Many shows listed right there, ninety eight
rock dot Com that is the offspring. Of course, they're
going to be at the iHeartRadio Music Festival. We got
a chance to feed a fly away and coming up
(17:42):
at nine to ten with one thousand dollars gift card
whoever you want to bring.
Speaker 6 (17:45):
Yeah, and of course they'll also be coming to town
July twelve. More details and boasts is to win tickets
to that one over at the Amp. I'll about a
website right now ninety eight rock dot Com.
Speaker 5 (17:53):
Right right now, it is time for the second question.
We've been doing this lately three Mississippi Trivia and one
of these questions might come into play at nine thirty
for this following universe tickets or right yeah.
Speaker 6 (18:03):
So in honor of one of the biggest shows to
ever hit Tampa Bay, Metallica's m seventy two tour, today,
I'm gonna go with a Metallica themed question. Okay, all right,
all right, so here we go. Metallica has opened nearly
every live show since nineteen eighty three with Ecstasy of Gold,
the iconic composition from the nineteen sixty six Clint Eastwood
(18:25):
film The Good, the Bad, in the Ugly. The big
question is why did they choose this piece?
Speaker 2 (18:32):
Hmmm, all right, I won the toss. I don't know
if I won the toss or lost the toss on this.
Speaker 5 (18:44):
Somebody's related to Clint Eastwood's.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
I think James Hetfield is just a big Western fan.
That's my answer.
Speaker 6 (18:57):
That's a good, good, wrong guess.
Speaker 3 (19:06):
I will revert to Crash's previous answer. Clint Eastwood is
James Hetfield's cousin.
Speaker 6 (19:13):
All Right, that's it. No, no, yeah, you know, I
should have given you a multiple choice on this one.
But the band they wanted this epic, cinematric, you know,
cinematic tone to just really set the shell. They wanted
that tone being set as they walked out on stage.
So that's why they went with it. And Mega Force
founder the late great Johnny Z actually nominated that one.
Speaker 5 (19:34):
There you go, that's what we talked, you know, that's
that's just uh, why we always tell you this is
the educational program.
Speaker 6 (19:41):
Yeah, all right, so you got the bonus of an
answer right there. Typically doesn't happen, but good to know.
Speaker 2 (19:47):
There you go. That's part of this whole thing exactly.
Speaker 5 (19:50):
This is kind of a new feature, so we kind
of we're kind of morphing this as we go along.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
I like this, all right, So here you go. You
learn something. Pay attention.
Speaker 5 (19:57):
Another reason to make us number one your preset for
that nine thirty crash test with Crashing AJ and ninety
eight rock.
Speaker 2 (20:03):
That's a good one. This morning, what is a poor
people quote?
Speaker 5 (20:06):
Poor people have it You'll never stop doing no matter
how rich you get.
Speaker 2 (20:11):
Here's a talk back here on the free iHeart Radio app.
Speaker 6 (20:15):
I will never stop lifting up the gas pup pose
and shaking out every last little drop that I paid
for a little too soon for me in my world,
I just poke my toe this week trying to do
the same day thing. But yeah, that's I.
Speaker 2 (20:30):
Couldn't you go?
Speaker 5 (20:31):
Girls save money doing that. More band aids, more eyes
for you, all right there you go. Oh check those
coming up in just a little bit. We're headed towards
the sports keg as well anak of the disco. It's
Crashing AJ and ninety.
Speaker 2 (20:45):
Eight Rock.
Speaker 1 (20:47):
Crashing AJ are tapping into the sports k all the
local and national sports headlines.
Speaker 2 (20:53):
On ninety eight Rock, we're starting with here.
Speaker 6 (20:55):
Let's starting with our raise who raised up last night
at Steinbrenner shout out to Randon Lao Homeward and doubled
in a run during a four run third. Shane Boz
worked a solid five innings and the Rays one five
to four of the over the Rangers. Let's go Tampa Bay.
Speaker 5 (21:13):
Could see Sean Shane Bo's kind of getting itgether a
little bit was a little bit of a weird place.
Now he's starting to get it together and that's not
We're not too far away from what all Star votes.
Are you already started?
Speaker 2 (21:22):
All Star voting started yesterday? So who on our team?
I mean, I mean Brandon Lawe.
Speaker 5 (21:28):
Rast Mussen, Yeah, I believe, Yeah, he's making his case
right now.
Speaker 2 (21:33):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (21:33):
Jonathan Ronda is on that list as well. Brandon law
is also up for a vote. And now you can
head over he was at MLB dot com slash All
Star ballot.
Speaker 2 (21:44):
Isn't Jonathan Ronda. He's like quiet.
Speaker 5 (21:46):
He's like like top near the top of a couple
of different stats right now, including batting average.
Speaker 3 (21:51):
I mean, they've got a three twenty six batting average,
which is considered pretty high in general, not even first basement.
Speaker 2 (21:58):
He's top top six, all right. Kevin Barrow, should.
Speaker 6 (22:01):
You know he's been picking up which, by the way,
he became the first player in race history to hit
a homer and steal home in a regular season games.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Awesome.
Speaker 6 (22:09):
Randy rose Arena did so back in Game one of
the twenty twenty one I exactly preston pace from our
rais anyway, that's the Hal Division series. And the last
Major leaguer to do so was Boston's Jared Duran back
in May twenty first of twenty twenty four against the
Rays at the Trump which, by the way, also shout
out to Josh low as Josh Lowe is there was
(22:31):
back to back doubles by Josh and Brandon both got
one yesterday, which I feel like those two whenever like
they start knocking them out the park or doing like
they always do him in tandem.
Speaker 5 (22:40):
It's like your names right, and we're talking about this
right now, can you believe it? Like after like three
weeks ago, we were like, uh, doomgloom. Now we're talk
about who's going in the All Star Game for the race.
Speaker 6 (22:49):
Let's do it, which, by the way, they face off
again against the Rangers seven thirty five. First pitch tonight,

congratulations are also in order for another Tampa Bay team,
more specifically one of its players, Nikita cool Off, nice
to receive the Ted Lindsey Award, making making it the
(23:11):
seconds when for his for the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Speaker 5 (23:15):
Players, actually saying that, you know, it's that's pretty pretty
I think when you about your players. Yeah, that's a
pretty cool award to.
Speaker 2 (23:21):
Have right there.
Speaker 6 (23:22):
Yeah, and it was cool if you missed the video
they gave it to him yesterday over at their training
facility over in Brandon, and uh, yeah, exactly because he
was freshly shaven. Did you recognize him?
Speaker 2 (23:34):
I was like, man, this guy looks like looks like
what is his cousin.
Speaker 6 (23:38):
Orself his younger brother? What's going on?
Speaker 2 (23:40):
But maybe he looks maybe it's just the off season thing.
Speaker 5 (23:43):
Maybe you should try this out, uh during the regular
season there and I think maybe uh.
Speaker 6 (23:49):
Shaking his head. Now, he looks great either way. One,
thanks for sure. Did you see who didn't look so
great last night? Right?
Speaker 2 (24:01):
Your favorite team, my stinking Florida Panthers.
Speaker 6 (24:08):
Oh yes, just over one minute into the game, the
Oilers found the back of the net to give Edmonton
the early lead, and what do you know? They ended
up winning.
Speaker 5 (24:17):
Flower to three crappy neighbors that maybe not like the
stink in Florida Panthers. Now I'm rooting for them. They
told me to tell me not to root for them,
now that I'm making it where they're not going to
win because I'm rooting for the steak in Florida.
Speaker 2 (24:28):
Panthers right now.
Speaker 6 (24:30):
Well, everybody can't get everything they want.
Speaker 2 (24:32):
Florida Florida Panthers.
Speaker 6 (24:35):
This is what I say.
Speaker 2 (24:36):
Steak in Florida Panthers.
Speaker 6 (24:39):
If you're looking for some other finals action to want
to watch tonight, not going to be hockey, but the
NBA Finals kicks off with the Pacers at the OKAC
Oklahoma City Thunder eight thirty pm tonight.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
I'll be watching on that one.
Speaker 6 (24:51):
And something we're all going to be watching here in
the Tampa Bay area. Who is going to be taking
over athletic director for USF In case you missed it,
Seventh Bulls ad Michael Kelly is leaving for the very
same job at Navy, which means school's now looking for
not only a president but also the AD position as well.
And you know, no hard feelings on this, he says,
(25:13):
quote unquote, this once in a lifetime opportunity came along
at a time that feels right for me and my family.
This decision isn't about leaving South Florida. It's about the
chance to serve a place that's long been meaningful to me. Which,
by the way, he is a Washington, d c. Native.
You know, he's a graduate of the US Naval Academy,
or his father was. He's a naval officer who served
(25:34):
in Vietnam, and he grew up in the Washington, D c. Area,
and you know, just this is this is something, this
is where he grew up. So good for him. Man,
leaving nose, leaving Tampa is no small thing.
Speaker 5 (25:45):
So and that's that's everything with the school athletics is
trending up. So who's going to fill that spot? To
be pretty damn interesting, all right for sure.
Speaker 6 (25:52):
Wishing him all the best, best of luck and of
course best for bulls as well.
Speaker 2 (25:58):
Yeah, right, this is where it's weird man, it's weird man.
This could be your neighbor, bro, or your cousin in Nebraska.
Speaker 3 (26:08):
This is Florida or not Florida with crash.
Speaker 5 (26:15):
Rock, right, the mystery begins. Now, who's this little line?
This is er all right, erin Welcome to the show.
So today's story begins with our superstar Richard. See, Richard
was arrested twice over the weekend, and the second one
was completely avoidable.
Speaker 2 (26:34):
Okay.
Speaker 6 (26:34):
It all began when the Sheriff's department was called to
a business where Richard made some alarming estate statements to
an employee. Well, he was promptly arrested for dui since
he drove himself to that business and is a vehicle
was impounded? Well, when he bonded out, that's when he
turned to super stardom by calling the sheriff's office to
ask for the personal items from his impounded vehicle. See
(26:57):
when deputies started cleaning out the car. Guess what they found?
Meth group exqu both strong guesses. Uh, cocaine?
Speaker 2 (27:07):
Oh yeah, have cocaine? Yeah I should have. I don't
know what I was thinking.
Speaker 6 (27:13):
No word if you bonded out again or just stayed put?
Speaker 2 (27:16):
Yeah, what's the what's the What do we all learn here?
Speaker 5 (27:19):
You don't ask for your your items if you've got
cocaine among your items. And that's the police for not
finding that the first time too.
Speaker 6 (27:28):
By the way, I mean give it him points for
uh for persistence, but definitely not for planning.
Speaker 5 (27:34):
There you go, All right, he's got to eat on
his report card there, Aaron. Uh, let's see what your
report card looks like with an answer, is it Florida
or not Florida?
Speaker 3 (27:42):
Here?
Speaker 2 (27:42):
All right?
Speaker 6 (27:45):
Well, as much as it sounds like Florida, I'm gonna
say it's not Florida?
Speaker 3 (27:51):
Was it?
Speaker 6 (27:51):
Because there was no meth involved? Because you're right, not Florida.
It happened in Kentucky, Ryan County, Kentucky, Kentucky.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
Thing man, there you go.
Speaker 6 (28:03):
And bonus points. He was actually from Texas.
Speaker 5 (28:06):

You, ma'am.
Speaker 5 (30:27):
Time Forday in the morning, quickie on ninety eight Rock,
brought to you by bar To for Robert.
Speaker 2 (30:32):
Keep it around.
Speaker 5 (30:33):
The Metallica forecast here Borrow, looks like today you got
a high of eighty eight, so not quite as hot
in the past few days. Lots of clouds, some sun
and maybe some thunder and lightning a little later on,
so a little mixed bad.
Speaker 2 (30:44):
But tomorrow got to high eighty eight, so far, it
looks pretty encouraging. Not a whole lot of chances of rain,
but you never know around this time.
Speaker 6 (30:54):
Yeah, it doesn't hurt to maybe put a pawn show
in your pocket, bring that in. But I'm gonna be
a great event rain or shine, and that's for sure. Hey,
heads up, it looks like Penel's County and the Florida
Department of Transportation are no building a pedestrian overpass by
the Courtney Campbell Cousway.
Speaker 2 (31:08):
Finally, yeah, it needs it.
Speaker 6 (31:10):
It's a way to be proactive and prevent future crashes
involving pedestrians and bicyclists because hey, unfortunately we're number one
when it comes to that. This overpass is going to
cover over State Road sixty from Bayshore and we'll tee
on the southern end of State Route sixty so that
way anybody can go either east to Hillsborough County or
west to connect to the businesses that are further rest
(31:31):
over on SR. Sixty.
Speaker 5 (31:33):
So seems to be a trend with DEBRAI. All the
bridges around here with the Howard Franklin have a pedestrian
path as well.
Speaker 6 (31:38):
So looking forward to this one, which it's going to
be a while before that happens. They won't start it
until January of next year, but hope to wrap it
by late twenty twenty six. Sir, Actually, I take that back.
It already started this year, but it's not going to
be until later next year that that it wraps up
something that is starting much sooner. Lakeland heads up. Got
(31:59):
some camera that are going to be going up in
school zones. A study conducted by the city last year
found that three thousand instances per day were happening in
which drivers were just speeding through school zones. So they're
going to install these cameras in the school zones that
had the greatest number of offending drivers. That includes Crystal
(32:20):
Lake Elementary and Middle School, Lincoln Avenue Academy, Philip O'Brien Academy,
Southwest Middle, North Lakeland Elementary, Lakeland High, Lakeland Highlands Middle,
and Sleepy Sleepy Hill Elementary.
Speaker 2 (32:32):
What's a price did you get for that?
Speaker 6 (32:34):
When you get a one hundred dollar citation? That is,
if you're going eleven miles per hour above the speed
limit eleven eleven still high. I mean eleven, though, I'm
surprised that's that high. When it comes to that talking
about kids crossing the streets schools.
Speaker 2 (32:50):
What even anything over five? Right?
Speaker 6 (32:53):
Yeah, eleven seems crazy.
Speaker 3 (32:55):
That's I love that they pointed out the different areas
that y'all are terrible at the right.
Speaker 6 (33:00):
Yeah, which cameras will be in placed by October first,
And they're also going to hook it up with the
thirty day education period, so basically a thirty day warning.
Speaker 3 (33:08):
Okay, and then you start putting these people on social
media as they do it last how much was the
tickets hundred bucks in one month after the education What
do you think they're going to get off that new school.
Speaker 2 (33:20):
Yeah, it'll be a lot of money for school, That's
the truth.
Speaker 6 (33:26):
Hey, if you're looking to see some cash, heads up

Speaker 2 (33:48):
A great time out there that I've had.
Speaker 5 (33:50):
Their iconic branding the first one that comes to mind
besides Metallica's kiss and what they've done with their you
know that logo, But Metallica has gone above and beyond
and taking that font and everything the storylines.
Speaker 2 (34:02):
And I want to know why, How the hell do
you get names? Quindo, You can't tell me.
Speaker 6 (34:08):
That. Hey, telling your kids to use the bathroom just
in case might not be so strong to do after all.
According to New York Times, they did a story and
who using the bathroom when you don't need to isn't
the best strategy?
Speaker 5 (34:21):
Uh?
Speaker 6 (34:21):
They say? Doing it too much can actually train your
brain to always think that you've got to go, especially
kids as well. You know, if you do it every
once in a while, like maybe before a long trip
or whatever the case, maybe every once in a blue moon,
that's okay. But if you start doing that a lot,
your ladder starts selling your brain. You gotta peeve when
you really don't need to ask.
Speaker 5 (34:40):
Maybe I should start talking before I hit the golf course.
Sometimes I'm pretty sure it's been there for my squad.
He takes a knee, I take a knee by the
soft car and that's how I do it.
Speaker 2 (34:53):
Right there, I feel like I've trained my brain.
Speaker 3 (34:55):
The minute I walk in my door with everything in
my hands, that's when my body says, you got penn.
Speaker 2 (35:01):
You gotta go.
Speaker 6 (35:02):
Which the good news is you can retrain your brain.
So if you have been doing it too much, they
just say, mind over bladder, you know, just start you know,
they say, start distracting yourself. If you start feeling the
need to urinate, do some deep breathing. We're talking yourself
up like I'm in control of when ip.
Speaker 2 (35:19):
You're making it.
Speaker 6 (35:20):
I can do this. I can't wait.
Speaker 2 (35:24):
Hold offer pee right now. I'm telling you if I
am the master content.
Speaker 6 (35:30):
And it's one year old guy who's uh on Long
Island just got arrested after a string of TikTok videos
where he'd go around to different stores and dump big
buckets of food on his head. His name's Kyle. He
goes by, Uh. Well, I won't even say the handle
right now, but last we check, the videos were still up. Now.
He didn't steal the food. He actually brought the stuff
in with him. For example, he celebrated hitting twenty five
(35:53):
thousand followers by walking into a restaurant, shirtless and dumping
this massive bucket. We're talking like a big time that
you'd fit like a bunch of like sports balls and
things in. It was a bucket filled with black beans.
He poured it over his head and then ran off. Yeah,
the place had to close early just to clean up
the monstrosity of a mess that was all over the
(36:14):
fall floor. Yeah, and that's not the only one. He
also dumped eggs on himself outside of an Italian ice place,
milk on himself outside Walgreens, and did the ice bucket
challenge inside a grocery store.
Speaker 2 (36:27):
Okay, that's just dangerous. Come on, man, it is there.
Speaker 6 (36:32):
Yeah, but even so, come on every time, like he's
just running off letting other people clean it up.
Speaker 2 (36:37):
You know what, if you're if you're following the guy,
would give me a favor follow right now? Yeah, how
about deporting him too?
Speaker 6 (36:46):
But you know what, Uh, some reporting has definitely not
been happening because now he's facing six counts of recording
people without their consents good, as well as two counts
of criminal tampering and up to four years in jail.
But he did just cross over a thousand TikTok followers on.
Speaker 2 (37:02):
Man, what's he going to do with the videos? Well,
I gotta follow.
Speaker 5 (37:04):
Now you've got a three sippy previous question to come
