Speaker 5 (09:24):
Now unacceptable.

Speaker 5 (09:30):
And go somewhere else.

Speaker 2 (09:31):
Oh yes, yeah, So.

Speaker 5 (09:34):
Over the past several weeks, crews have been putting up
netting and prepping for the panel installation that just started
over at the truck.

Speaker 4 (09:42):
I'll say they got the first one up, so I
saw some photos.

Speaker 6 (09:46):
Yes, Now, each of these panels they put up get
this way, about forty eight hundred pounds, and they are
installing the panels opposite each other due to the weight,
which is best practice. And I guess the original roof
was installed in that same manner. But they say that
this new roof is going to be stronger, be able
to withstand one hundred and sixty five mile per hour wins. Okay,

(10:09):
but just for installing these panels, get this. It takes
Cruz six hours straight uninterrupted to fully lay out one panel.
Then it takes up to six days to completely stretch
it out and connect it to the structure. So I'm
gonna take some time to get that done right there.
But they say the roof should be done by the

(10:30):
end of November, with the rest of repairs scheduled to
be done by April sixth. Witches opening day for our
Tampa Bay Rays is that'll be the first game they
host at the drop against the Chicago Cubs.

Speaker 2 (10:41):
Wait, they're going to finish up that day.

Speaker 5 (10:43):
No, they'll be done by Okay, they'll be done before it.

Speaker 4 (10:46):
You guys screwing the last bolt in and play ball.
Not quite, not quite, but all right. Good progress. We
want to see progress.

Speaker 11 (10:54):
And.

Speaker 5 (10:56):
So the Humane Society at Tampa Bay.

Speaker 6 (11:00):
I don't know if you've heard, but three emaciated dogs
were found abandoned in the woods behind Blessing's gas station
on US forty one.

Speaker 5 (11:07):
End Lootes.

Speaker 6 (11:08):
Human Society at Tampa Bay says that thank goodness, two
young women saw one of the dogs, ended up rescuing
them and brought them to the shelter. One of the
dogs they're naming Blessing, was so weak she couldn't stand
and is since tested positive for the life threatening harvovirus.
She only has about a fifty percent chance of survival.
Officials urging people, please never abandon your animals and guess this.

(11:33):
There's now a reward of nearly six thousand dollars, boosted
by Dave Bautista, being offered for the information leading to
the arrest of the person responsible for dumping these dogs
behind the gas station. And fleeing. I mean they're in
bad shape right now. If you have any information, please
contact you mean, society at Tampa Bay happy to put
you in touch with them.

Speaker 2 (11:52):

I mean you got Dave Bautista after you now.

Speaker 5 (11:59):
And Tampa Bay that matter? Yeah, no, no, no, so breaking.

Speaker 6 (12:03):
Benjamin's drummer Sean, has had to step away from touring
to focus on his health. He's been fighting hashimotoves disease
since twenty seventeen, which causes fatigue, leg weakness, and makes
drumming incredibly hard. In fact, during this recent spring tour
his symptoms got so bad he's been fighting extreme leg fatigue,
making it nearly impossible to play. Tess showed that his

(12:26):
diroid condition had flared up, pushing it into hypermode, causing
weakness weight loss, and after talking with his family and doctors,
he's now taking some time off from the road in
order to heal. So hopefully I'll be able to heal
swiftly and maybe get back out and do some shows.

Speaker 5 (12:44):
But we're wishing him all the best. The band is too.

Speaker 6 (12:47):
They thanked him and said that they're bringing in their
friend Casillas to play drums for their upcoming fall tour.

Speaker 2 (12:53):
Okay, now I saw that. Yeah, really sad to see
that happen.

Speaker 5 (12:58):
Yeah, wishing him the best. He's not done with the band,
just not touring right now.

Speaker 2 (13:02):
Sometimes you just got to take a step back, get
it under control.

Speaker 6 (13:05):
So a film Screaming is going to be held at
the AMC Veterans Expressway for a film adaptation of Stephen
King's The Long Walkkay. It was directed by Hunger Games
franchise director Francis Lawrence, and it's based on King's first
written novel, which is set in a dicetopian alternate universe
for the United States, is run by a tolitarian regime

(13:26):
that forces young men to participate in a yearly deadly

state flag, coel and motto, and the submissions didn't disappoint
They recommended that submissions highlight natural elements associated with Massachusetts,
like cranberries, pine trees, whales, coastline, the geographic shape of

(14:22):
the state. But they're now sharing some of the things
that didn't make the cut, which included a seal on

highlight congratulations to so many different athletes and of course
teams too. And one insane trade that broke everybody's jaws
yesterday afternoon.

Speaker 2 (22:42):
Broke my brain.

Speaker 5 (22:44):
Yes, and some arts too.

Speaker 6 (22:46):
We'll get to it coming up inside the sports ke
get just a few minutes on Crashing AJ Onnie.

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Iraq Crashing AJ are tapping into the sports k all
the local and national sports headlines.

Speaker 6 (22:58):
One after a day off, the Rays back at it,
starting a new series, this time against the Washington Nationals,
six forty five pm. First pitch, all right, I tend
to enjoy the earlier pitches compared to when they go
to the West Coast. You don start till ten o'clock
at night, especially on a weeknight.

Speaker 4 (23:16):
Yeah, it's kind of Rough's gonna be a big sports weekend.

Speaker 5 (23:19):
It is general, that's right.

Speaker 6 (23:21):
Happy National Sports Day, by the way, and of course
it is Labor Day weekends. A lot of big things happen,
and of course I'm sure there's going to be a
lot of different baseball stadiums having hot dog deals to
celebrate Labor Day, and you know, people trying to eat
as many hot dogs as they can would shout out
to the ones that hook.

Speaker 5 (23:36):
It up with those dollar hot dogs. Okay, that's pretty awesome.

Speaker 2 (23:39):
If you ever beat a dollar hot dog or what
did they?

Speaker 4 (23:42):
I think the Clearwater Thrashers do like a two dollars
Tuesday or something like that. Every stadium in the country
needs to do that.

Speaker 5 (23:49):
That would be great. Needs to be a national Maybe
we can get that to happen at the trop next year.
That'd be pretty cool. I mean, you can't go wrong
with that. Maybe, nah. One things for sure, congrats are
in order to Kyle Schwarber of Philly, who hit not one,
not two, but four homers last night against Atlanta to
become the twenty first Major leaguer and fourth Phillies player

(24:11):
to accomplish the feat. He was four for.

Speaker 6 (24:14):
Six with a record nine RBIs wow. Banded up destroying
Atlanta nineteen to four last night, and then with.

Speaker 5 (24:23):
That night last night, he ended up taking the National.

Speaker 6 (24:26):
League homer lead outright with a career high forty nine
and leads the majors with a career high one hundred
and nineteen RBIs.

Speaker 5 (24:34):
Way to go, Kyle.

Speaker 2 (24:36):
I like him.

Speaker 5 (24:37):
He's a good guy.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
I'm sure you do.

Speaker 5 (24:40):
I do, dang it. Hey, congratulations.

Speaker 6 (24:43):
Also in order to USF who destroyed number twenty five
Boise State with a thirty four to.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
Seven win last night.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
Was dominant, was it ever.

Speaker 6 (24:54):
Quarterback Byron Brown ran for two touchdowns, keisha On Singleton
caught a forty five yard touchdo down passing a fake punt,
and yeah, they just destroyed them on that opening night
for both teams, which Boise State certainly.

Speaker 5 (25:07):
Going to be dropping from the top twenty five after
this one.

Speaker 2 (25:10):
I had no idea Boise State was twenty five.

Speaker 4 (25:12):
I was kind of like I was passively watching that game, yeah,
while I was eating my terrible Chili's meal, and it
was odd, but yeah, I didn't realize they were twenty five.

Speaker 5 (25:20):
So go go there they were.

Speaker 6 (25:22):
They're likely going to have to win out right now
to just try and get back into the playoff conversation
after this one. But so Florida gonna face two more
ranked opponents, Florida and Miami before their conference schedule begins.
Another big game that was happening last night on TV.
I don't know if you caught this moment right here,
but happened over an Arrowhead Stadium between Nebraska and Cincinnati

(25:45):
where a lot of people were.

Speaker 5 (25:46):
Watching it, including a few celebrities in the house. Patrick
Mahomes watching this game tonight, Villin Riola his protege on
the field.

Speaker 2 (25:55):
How about the newly engaged couple Travis Kelson.

Speaker 10 (25:58):
We saw him on the field printing with Taylor Swift
Is Fance in the building congrust.

Speaker 5 (26:03):
Which that game was sold out.

Speaker 6 (26:04):
Nebraska ended up winning it twenty to seventeen, all by
intercepting a Sincy pass with less than.

Speaker 5 (26:09):
A minute left. I mean, that was talk about exciting
right there.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
That was excitement.

Speaker 4 (26:14):
I did see a quote where the Rayola kids like,
I don't model myself after Patrick Mahomes, and then you
see pictures of them side by side.

Speaker 2 (26:22):
Yeah you do, Yeah you do?

Speaker 11 (26:24):
Man. Uh.

Speaker 6 (26:26):
Speaking of exciting, it depends on what side of the
fence you are. Green Bays loving it. Mike Parsons dealt
to the Packers for a record contract. Yes, the Cowboys
traded four time Pro Bowl at rusher Micah Parsons.

Speaker 5 (26:43):
In exchange.

Speaker 6 (26:44):
The Cowboys received three They received three time Pro Bowl
defense tactive tackle Kenny Clark, as well as two first
round draft picks in twenty twenty six and twenty twenty.

Speaker 5 (26:55):
Seven, which why are you shaking your head.

Speaker 2 (26:56):
Diberty Surround. It's the steal of the year.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
I mean, Michael Parsons is generational talent and as a
Lions fan, he's playing with Green Bay now, so now
we get you know, the team I root for as well.

Speaker 6 (27:09):
I mean, you know, simple before that way, other people
feel like this was you know, something for you know,
exchanging things up for the Cowboys. A lot of different
ways to look at that, but one thing's for sure.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones is actually explaining why it made
sense to trade him.

Speaker 11 (27:26):
We have just decided that it was in the best
interest of our team to take the consideration that we have.

Speaker 5 (27:33):
We appreciate his four years.

Speaker 11 (27:35):
Well we can take that consideration and we can win
in our minds more than had we gone the other
route and sign. That's not a negative o Micah. That's
just unique to our circumstances.

Speaker 6 (27:49):
Which seems to be the number. Because Parsons did agree
to a four year, one hundred and eighty eight million
dollar contract with the Packers that includes one hundred and
twenty full guaranteed i'd signing and one hundred and thirty
six million in total guarantees he's now the highest paid
non quarterback in NFL history, and speaking of the number

(28:10):
four once again, he will return to Dallas with the
Packers in Week four for the Green Bay Packers play
the Cowboys on Sunday Night Football.

Speaker 5 (28:20):
I mean a lot of fours in this there's at
least four fours.

Speaker 2 (28:23):
You know what.

Speaker 5 (28:23):
Maybe that's the power ball now, I was about.

Speaker 4 (28:25):
Saying, maybe that's the power ball number, and I might
play that one, you.

Speaker 2 (28:29):
And me both, man.

Speaker 5 (28:30):
My best of luck to us all.

Speaker 6 (28:31):
May the odds be in our favor and something else
that's in our favor.

Speaker 5 (28:35):
Florida or Not Florida.

Speaker 2 (28:36):
There we go.

Speaker 5 (28:37):
Somebody is going to be taking some tickets to experience
bush Gardens in just a few minutes. We'll get to
it around eight o five.

Speaker 6 (28:42):
As we continue on a more commercial free rock and
crashing a good morning, we're not yet rock.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
This is where she gets weird man.

Speaker 5 (28:50):
It's weird man.

Speaker 10 (28:52):
This could be your neighbor, bro or your cousin in Nebraska.
This is Florida or Not Florida with.

Speaker 6 (29:00):
Crash and welcome to another edition of Florida or Not Florida.

Speaker 5 (29:06):
Where who do we have joining us on the phones? Today.
Good morning. What's your name?

Speaker 2 (29:11):
Name is Kyle calling from Hudgson.

Speaker 6 (29:13):
Yay, Kyle from Hudson. How are things up in Hudson today?

Speaker 2 (29:17):
Man, I am not that is funny compared to the
last few days.

Speaker 5 (29:22):
Happy to hear that. Hopefully it stays that way. Let's
give all these storms a big fat shove it and
tell it to get out of here.

Speaker 2 (29:28):
Second.

Speaker 5 (29:29):
I'll have a good weekend. Shot it all right? Well, Kyle.

Speaker 6 (29:33):
Today's story begins with our twenty year old superstar burglary
suspect named Justin.

Speaker 5 (29:40):
See.

Speaker 6 (29:41):
Justin was apprehended by an adult man named Kyle. Who
get this, Kyle Wow was wearing Yo Batman pajamas at
the time.

Speaker 5 (29:51):
See.

Speaker 6 (29:52):
Kyle was embedded around two o'clock on Wednesday morning when
his home security cameras alerted him to a man breaking
into his truck. That's when he called the cops. And
when he went outside, he heard the same suspect ransacking
his neighbor's garage. And that's when he turned into a
hero himself. He sprang into action and detained them until

(30:14):
officers arrived.

Speaker 13 (30:16):
Man I got the hole of their shirt and the
right wrist, I said, listen, don't try to get away.

Speaker 8 (30:22):
I have plenty of experience with this.

Speaker 12 (30:23):
I'm really glad I had my Batman for Jamazon because
they gave me the extra confidence that I needed.

Speaker 6 (30:27):
And which, by the way, his experience he works in corrections.
So yes, sounds like he has plenty of experience my.

Speaker 5 (30:34):
Experiences with the Batman. Yeah.

Speaker 6 (30:37):
Love that he was able to do that, which it
looks like the Superstar justin stole multiple items from Kyle
and his neighbors, including a couple of pairs of three
hundred dollars RayBan sunglasses, cash, a woman's wristlet, and more
than five hundred dollars in gift cards.

Speaker 5 (30:52):
Oh yeah, So the.

Speaker 6 (30:54):
Big question for you, Kyle, is this Florida or not Florida.

Speaker 2 (31:01):
Definitely gotta be a Florida man.

Speaker 6 (31:05):
You know what, Kyle, You're definitely onto. Something happened in
Kate byll cap is the key part. I know, right,
nobody didn't have a cape with those ones stand. But
he looked great in that Batman onesie. I mean, that's
that was incredible way to go.

Speaker 4 (31:23):
And the fact that he said I have experience in
this is like a Batman line.

Speaker 5 (31:32):
Yeah. Professional, Well, Kyle, thanks for playing along.

Speaker 6 (31:37):
Congratulations you got the tickets to experience Bush Gardens, which
they've got their brand, and all the Oasis at Jungala
now open, which is North America's most immersive kid friendly
adventure realm with the all new theme Drop Tower Ride.

Speaker 4 (34:03):
It's not gonna be a total wash out, but it's
gonna be damn near close for going to see a
lot of thunder, a lot of lightning, a lot of
rain scattered throughout the area. Some people are gonna be
luckier than others this weekend, but raise yourselves for a
wet weekend. Right now, it's about eighty degrees at are
Feather Sound Studios, and it's sunny, so enjoy the sunshine,
white can Yeah.

Speaker 5 (34:24):
Which from one a year. It's not gonna be a
total washout.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
Yeah, it's not gonna be a total wash out, total loss.

Speaker 5 (34:28):
But Saturday was like maybe forty percent of the area,
I think it was.

Speaker 11 (34:31):
It.

Speaker 5 (34:32):
Sunday was sixty. Yeah, Monday it gets.

Speaker 4 (34:35):
Gets up to like you know, anywhere between fifty and
eighty percent. Yeah, I mean, you just gotta wait and
wait for it to happen.

Speaker 5 (34:42):
It is the season. Hey.

Speaker 6 (34:45):
Today actually marks the twentieth anniversary of Hurricane Katrina twenty
years which just devastated the Gulf Coast region and New
Orleans was the hardest hit. And today they are marking
the occasion with a re fleeing ceremony happening this morning
on Canal Street. That's where a number of unidentified and
unclaimed bodies of victims are laid to rest, and then

(35:07):
there's going to be another leaffling ceremony later today in
the Lower ninth Ward. They're also unfailing a new mural
that was painted on a levee waliver in the Lower ninth.

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Oh that's cool.

Speaker 6 (35:19):
Yeah, So if you get the chance to visit that
and pay your respecs sometime, definitely do that. Man twenty
years twenty years already, which today also happens to be
something else National Chop suey day.

Speaker 2 (35:33):
That's wake up.

Speaker 5 (35:34):
So I'm Richard Dan, but I'm my god, I got
that right.

Speaker 11 (35:40):
Job.

Speaker 5 (35:42):
Yeah, gotta love it.

Speaker 6 (35:45):
I don't think they mean it by that song, but
that's what we're celebrating anyway.

Speaker 5 (35:49):
Ah Hey, heads up.

Speaker 6 (35:50):
If you managed to have purchased some salad over at Walmart.
It looks like salad kits sold in states including Florida
are being recalled over an undeclared allergy that can cause
serious or life threatening reactions of consumed by somebody with
analogy or sensitivity to sesame or soy. The salad in
question Taylor Farms, the Honeybalsamic salad kits. They incorrectly include

(36:14):
Asian sesame ginger dressing instead of the intended honey balsamic vinigarettes.

Speaker 2 (36:19):
Oh wrong, sauce tacking.

Speaker 5 (36:22):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (36:23):
Yeah, So if you have those, you can get a refund.
Throw it out immediately, be very careful for that. They're
looking for the codes that have the TRFs or best
of used by date that include up to September fourth
of twenty twenty five, and you can find that in
the upper right hand corner of the packaging.

Speaker 5 (36:42):
Once again, that is.

Speaker 6 (36:43):
The Tailor Farm's honey Balsamic salad kits sold at a Walmarts. Hey,
good news, mud Van is back and they just dropped
their very first song in sixteen years.

Speaker 5 (36:55):
Now.

Speaker 6 (36:55):
This is one that they're not dropping the radio, but
for people online to hear, it's called Hurt People, Hurt People,
which It was produced by Nick who's worked with big
names like Rush and the Foo Fighters, and singer Chad
Gray says that he wrote the song as a reminder
to break painful cycles and creates self love instead of suffering.

(37:15):
So with that song, I'm sure it's only going to
be a matter of time before we start hearing something new.

Speaker 5 (37:19):
For the radio.

Speaker 2 (37:21):
Yeah, I'm sure it'll break through.

Speaker 6 (37:22):
Oh yeah, one things for sure though, news did break
through yesterday afternoon that breaking Benjamin's drummer, Sean Foist is
now stepping away from the touring cycle because well, he's
focusing on his health. He's been fighting Hashimoto's disease since
twenty seventeen and he's been opened about it, talking about it,
and I believe we've even talked about it at a
ninety at Rockfest a couple of years back.

Speaker 4 (37:43):
Yeah, it's something that's been plaguing him for a while.
Now it's I guess it's getting it's work.

Speaker 5 (37:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (37:50):
It causes fatigue, leg weakness and makes drumming really hard.
And it looks like this last tour that he's been
on tes showed that his thybroid condition had flared up
because it's been pushing him into hypermode, causing weakness weight loss,
and after consulting his doctor and his family, he's now
taking some time off to heel.

Speaker 5 (38:09):
So wishing him all the best on this journey.

Speaker 6 (38:11):
And he's not done with music, not done with the band,
but you're not going to see him on this leg
of this tour.

Speaker 4 (38:16):
That's just going to be, you know, a pivot, take,
take your time, get yourself right and then yeah, you
don't you know, you don't want to half ass something
like that.

Speaker 6 (38:24):
Definitely not but hoping he gets well soon man. And finally,
here's some good news for you. Retired rugby player Ed
Jackson all right a bath England recently achieved a remarkable
feat by get this, summoning an unclimbed fifteen thousand, four
hundred and eighty five foot peak.

Speaker 5 (38:43):
Whoa and why is this so so incredible?

Speaker 6 (38:47):
Well, I mean, hey, that feet itself is incredible, but
even more extraordinary because well, he once played rugby professionally,
but was left quadriplegic ooh after a diving accident eight
years ago and was told he would never walk again.

Speaker 2 (39:02):
Whoa well.

Speaker 6 (39:03):
Following yes, following years of rehab, he set his sights
on tackling that descent across glaciers, ice and rock. He
made it his life mission to go up this and
defeat and be able to walk again. And guess what
he was able to do just that, and he was
able to do it through the support of a charity,

(39:24):
Millimeters to Mountains Foundation, which helps people overcome adversity through
outdoor challenges.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Good for them, yea, good for him, Good for them?

Speaker 6 (39:31):
So are they able to raise money? They're able to
help him? And how incredible is that? Just goes to
show man, it's not what happens to you, it's how
you overcome it.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
Sure does make me feel a little bit worse about
taking a nap on.

Speaker 4 (39:42):
My couch yesterday, climbing mountains and I'm having a hard
time rolling off of my you know.

Speaker 5 (39:51):
Yeah him, Yeah, he just goes to show we're all human.

Speaker 8 (39:54):
Egg.

Speaker 5 (39:55):
Maybe I'll motivate you in other ways, you know, sure, well,
thanks for sure.

Speaker 2 (41:42):
It's so crazy. Forty years of doing the same thing.

Speaker 5 (41:45):
That's amazing.

Speaker 4 (41:46):
That the same thing, but like just doing that that's incredible.

Speaker 6 (41:50):
