a Rod.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
You need a nugget, a nugget of inspiration. This is
your daily nugget with Crash and aj.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
A ninety eight rock. All right, a nugget from someone
celebrating a birthday and day here on the twenty fifth
August twenty twenty. It's hard to see your destination when
you're focused on the crack on the sidewalk. Distractions, I

(05:17):
guess is with the whole point of the whole thing
around there. Keep your eye on the prize. Apparently Gene
Simmons really know how to keep his eye on the
prize there the entire time, always innovating, finding ways to
entertain and make money at the same time.

Speaker 3 (05:35):
Most definitely especially the money part.

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Yeah, it means done great on the entertaining aspect, but
then you know, from coffins to pencils, you name it,
and everything in betweenizing merchandise.

Speaker 2 (05:46):
I had to kiss lunchbox, kiss notebook pad, I drew
kiss in the corners, ball by school papers, I had
kiss action figures. Yeah, it's distractions, man, kind of keep
your eye on the prize. And maybe you'll get to
that destination. It's hard to see your destination when you're

(06:06):
focused on the crack on the sidewalk. Happy birthday to
Gene Simmons. You're seventy six years old through so it's
like a celebrated a really big birthday today. So see
if you can somehow some boy take that quote into
your day. My friends, that's your daily nugget over County
Dead Bay's Rock Station ninety eight Rock your home of
the Bucks. Of course, a preseason game number three on Saturday,

(06:29):
it is now time to look at roster cuts and
getting ready for the first official game of the regular
season for twenty twenty five.

Speaker 4 (06:35):
Yeah, so not going to be happening this weekend, at
least when it comes to a football game. But Bucks
versus Atlanta on the road for game one. One person
that we did actually handful of people we did find
out about yesterday and one of them includes Shiloh Sanders,
who's now has been waved of course after what happened
getting ejected what in the second quarter on Saturday nights.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
I'm wondering how much that went into, you know, the
roster because with him and you know, these people also
have chances to jump on the practice squad.

Speaker 3 (07:03):
As well, so they do if he goes up.

Speaker 4 (07:06):
Rooting for him, Yeah, exactly, it's hard not to, especially
after seeing him a camp, you know, great with the kids,
just seemed to be great out there in general. So
he was one that you definitely started rooting for.

Speaker 2 (07:15):
Junior Cameron Era as well for the Rays hits his
thirty seventh home run, which by the way ties Albert
Pulholz for the most bi Dominican before age twenty one.
So you know, despite the Rays, what the Rays are going,
that's a good season for Junior Cameron Era.

Speaker 3 (07:30):
Yeah, right to go.

Speaker 4 (07:31):
Congratulations to him. Of course, more new sports sidelines coming
your way in just over an hour inside the sports
Keg because we continueing on commercial free with any of
us like grashu at a j Nattie a rock, good morning.

Speaker 8 (07:44):
Dying for in the morning, Quickie on Naughty a rock
brought by Barjo.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
For Yeah, statters showers going on throughout the course of
the day coming from the west on shore onto the
stay here and Gulf Coast and can get a lot
of them. High eighty six today a.

Speaker 4 (07:58):
Good morning, Hey, good morning, and crash and looks like
tropical storm fer anad his form near Bermuda, which the
good news is it's not going to be making any
impact on land, as it's going to be staying out
in the Atlantic, moving north northeast at about fifteen miles
per hour. Now, some additional strengthening is possible, but you know,
once again, going.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
To be staying out.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Fish storm too bad.

Speaker 4 (08:19):
Not all storms could be like that, that would be great.
We definitely go for that.

Speaker 2 (08:23):
Shut out to the fish going through it right.

Speaker 3 (08:24):
Oh yeah, that does suck though. But here's something else.

Speaker 4 (08:27):
Invest ninety nine Now they say now has about a
medium chance for development in the coming days as it's
going through the Caribbean. Hurricane hunters might be flying into
it later today just to see how organized.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
This thing is becoming.

Speaker 4 (08:40):
All right, something that we're keeping our eyes on, and
you might want to consult Janet later on this one.
The Powermum Jackpot, in case you missed it, nobody hit
it over the weekend. Good news for everybody because now
you got a chance at winning at seven hundred and
fifty million dollars at least, which is now the game's
tenth largest prize ever. They say the cash value if

(09:01):
you want to take in a one lump sum three
hundred and thirty eight point six.

Speaker 2 (09:04):
Million dollars, now, hold on is it? They might know
whether it takes more time if you go with the
lump sum whatever. When you get the money, the quickest
depends on your age. Man. They opt on there because
that would make a difference to me. Just get me
the money quickly so I could start spending as much
as it as I possibly can. I use loan sharkt
until the money shows up. Clean bars, I've just won

(09:24):
a lot of can do damn Scott?

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Maybe it's I cashed in eight bucks on my ticket
on Saturday.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
Really, that's good, which th odds of winning this one
one and two, one hundred and ninety two point two
million dollars.

Speaker 3 (09:37):
Of course that drawing is ten nights.

Speaker 2 (09:39):
We were using the tickets we got the other day
because we got some lucky numbers on the ticket from
the other day. Oh okay, yeah, that's the strategy right there.
There you go.

Speaker 4 (09:47):
Rob Halford turned seventy four today from Man for Judas
Priest and apparently his next project that he wants to
do covers of Tony Bennett's socks Apparently he was singing
in the shower the other day. Started listening to his
voice and he was like, I'm an old man, I
can do whatever I want to bleep and do, and
started out busting some Tony Bennett. He loves Tony Bennett.

(10:09):
And you know what it actually, I guess sounds pretty good.

Speaker 2 (10:11):
There you go that I didn't have that on the
bingo card at all, But it's fine. He knew what
he wants to do.

Speaker 4 (10:16):
I would definitely tune in to hear that one. Yeah,
and how about this one. Earlier this year, Hooters announced
plans for a makeover to make it more family friendly,
but since then, fortunately more locations have closed, and during
the bankruptcy hearings there's been a bit of battle. In fact,
one of the current bosses, Neil Kaifer, thinks that he
can turn things around by balancing out the family friendly

(10:38):
aspect and the tongue in cheek sexy vibe. He says,
you can expect him to still be quote delightfully tacky,
but waitresses no longer going to be donning those bikini
style bottoms.

Speaker 2 (10:51):
All the altered ones to kind of yep, a custom fit.

Speaker 3 (10:54):
Yes, very cheeky got you the cheeky ones.

Speaker 4 (10:58):
Yeah, they said waitresses would still wear orange shorts. But
this is his plan, it's not necessarily happening right now.
He does want to fix up locations that are run down,
as well as update the menu and try and keep
prices reasonable.

Speaker 2 (11:11):
That's that last one right there. That's that's key right there.
For sure, you want to come in, get the price
as reasonable. You can make the what you you to
the comment right there.

Speaker 5 (11:21):
I mean I was gonna say, they got to ban
the joke. I'll take the chicken breast sandwich. Hold the
chicken right, yeah, that joke. That's not twenty five where
the shorts coming down? They got mid thigh, mid thigh
on the orange shorts. What we doing here?

Speaker 2 (11:35):
Nine inch has all the way to the knee.

Speaker 4 (11:38):
And an updates to the Florida and Off Florida Cereal
Butt Sniffer Superstar from a month ago.

Speaker 3 (11:43):
You guys remember the story.

Speaker 4 (11:45):
He's the guy in California that was following and trying
to take a big old whiff of a woman's backside
and the Nordstrum rack.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Well guess what, he just got busted again. In fact,
here's one of his veig victims speaking about it.

Speaker 9 (11:58):
I didn't realize he was so close to me until
I heard like his jewelry or something, and he found
it extremely close to me. So that's when I turned
around and noticed that he was right under me. So
that's when I stepped back towards the bookcase and I
asked him what he was doing, and he said that
he was tying his shoe. He was smelling me, and

(12:19):
he smelled another person in the store. It's honestly infuriating
because he's done this for thirteen plus years, so they
know what he's going to do when they release him.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
Again, just goes right back at it. I wonder how
popular he is in jail looks.

Speaker 6 (12:33):
The bust right, yeah, right, take away?

Speaker 2 (12:37):
Yeah, there you go. All right, that's update from the play.
He was a Florida and not Florida Superstars.

Speaker 4 (12:46):
Yeah, like three almost four weeks ago at this point.
So what will today's store superstar be guilty of? And
how could it land you Bush Gardens tickets? You'll find
out eight oh five this morning with Crashing Age.

Speaker 2 (12:55):
A Caitlin, another winner of a Flyway Past Friday Bay
Area Nice which.

Speaker 4 (13:01):
Every weekday three keywords go off that means three people
will win the trip for two to Vegas to experience
the iHeart Readium is accessible in just a couple of
weeks and a thousand bucks. Just like Caitlin did.

Speaker 2 (13:11):
Yeah, I mean there's we asked to you know what
artist she was looking forward to seeing the most, So.

Speaker 4 (13:17):
Jolly was one because my boyfriend is like one of
the biggest fans of him.

Speaker 2 (13:21):
And she's carrying her boyfriend. So she's already got a
guest and one thousand dollars right there, so he instantly
assumed he was going there. He's like, I'm in. I'm
sure finally I'd questioned that relationship if it wasn't though,
by the way, my girl with me, I can't I go.

Speaker 4 (13:40):
Yeah, but your first of three is coming up today
nine ten, then again at one ten and five ten
this afternoon in all week long course, all the details
onus chins to win ninety eight Rock dot Com.

Speaker 2 (13:49):

no savvy.

Speaker 4 (14:06):
It's a direct line, yeah you guys, and a movie
based off her life for that matter.

Speaker 2 (14:12):
We got it right here all right. Good morning, star goddess,
and happy early birthday.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
By the way, I am so happy I came in.

Speaker 6 (14:19):
You had little cupcakes for me. I love you, guys.
I could not be happier. I'm so happy to be here,
and I'm happy to be alive.

Speaker 2 (14:26):
You look great.

Speaker 10 (14:27):
You know.

Speaker 3 (14:28):
It's just happy, just happy, happy, happy.

Speaker 2 (14:31):
So we're blessed happy. So thank you very much.

Speaker 6 (14:33):
Sure you have no idea good reason to stay alive?
Right here is be here on Mondays. Honestly, you know
sometimes you I got of a reason to live. I
got one here, so keep it up.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
We'll listen to that all throughout the show. Yeah, no problem.
We got the weekly set up for everybody. You lead
us into the weekly outlook for the week here right.

Speaker 6 (14:52):
So feed us the plant of love on the move.
It has left the whiney sign of cancer, which I
think not soon enough, and into can we have a
good time? Venus and Leo is one of my favorite
times for Venus because Venus is loved. The fifth thousands
love if yours, children's sports, amusements, pleasure is anything fun,
anything entertaining, And I think right about now we need
some good times, so I'm kind of all for it.

(15:15):
Time and Venus has not been in Leo for fourteen months,
so over a year ago was the last time. Yeah,
So you know, something you want to look forward to.
Wherever you have Leo in your life is where you
will feel the love. Some of us will feel it
in money. This will feel it, you know, in other areas.
So I wish I was one of the ones fieling
with money, but I'm not, unfortunately to that false Cancers

(15:37):
will do very well with that energy, and then who
else will do well? Capricorns will do well with this energy?

Speaker 4 (15:41):
Now are there certain times, for instance would they both
do well? Maybe tonight with the power bull Dry.

Speaker 6 (15:46):
That's where I'm going with this, You bet you. That's
exactly where I'm going with this, and it starts tonight,
So best of luck, yeah, anybody but me. But again,
I've already won the life lottery. I'm here, so I'm
happy about all that.

Speaker 2 (15:58):
Right, we have questions from our friends out there. If
you guys want to start that off right, now eight
hundred and seven to three seven, double oh ninety eight.
Everybody's got a question about this week?

Maybe you're thinking about getting a new vehicle. All you
get to look at is for the born on date,
usually has the month and year on there. Same applies
with pets.

Speaker 3 (16:25):
She's great with that. Anything and everything you can think
of your work environment, whatever the case is.

Speaker 2 (16:30):
Inquire me acquiring someone in his relationship or dumping someone
out of the relation.

Speaker 4 (16:35):
Maybe you're adding somebody do maybe you're looking at the trouble.
Whatever the case is, nothing's off limits, but we do
need the specifics and the full data birth for everybody involved.
So get it to us eight hundred and seven three
seven double ninety eight or the talkback feature on the
free iHeartRadio app.

Speaker 2 (16:51):
Here's what's going on for the week.

Speaker 6 (16:53):
This week Venus the plot of Love Andres and Leo.
So for the next four weeks, here's where you will
feel the love in your life.

it comes out. Libra, it's time for the group to
show you the love that'd been promising since late last year.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Score for you.

Speaker 6 (17:11):

money where your mouth is. Sagittarius, take someone you love
along for the ride in order to deal with important
matters Camphricorn, you can benefit from other people's resources, allaying
some pretty big fears.

Speaker 2 (17:27):
Aquarius.

Speaker 6 (17:28):
Partnerships both personal and professional are favored, so be receptive
to overtures. Vices, check the rules before falling in love
where you work or have responsibilities. Aries, love, laughter, creativity
are all stimulated, so unleash your amuse and follow it.

Speaker 2 (17:45):

to straighten out.

Speaker 2 (17:51):
Gemini.

Speaker 6 (17:52):
Short distance short duration travel beckons, so make some time
to have a good time. Cancer, go ahead treat yourself

Venus and your sound brings love back to your life
after a long personal struggle. So that's what the stars

Speaker 2 (18:14):
Ninety eight rock crashing, AJ's, some Metallica there for Saint
Pete and some thanks going out over the weekend. Gage's
surprise birthday party was a fun success there. It did
have some rain, but we had plenty of people to think.
It was just fantastic, all right.

Speaker 3 (18:28):
I couldn't agree more.

Speaker 4 (18:29):
I mean more rain than not unfortunately, you know, but
it was incredible the amount of people, the outpouring of
love and support.

Speaker 3 (18:35):
That packed that parking lot. It was amazing.

Speaker 2 (18:40):
It was great.

Speaker 4 (18:41):
Big thanks to Kevin from Victory Suppliers who brought the
brand new Batmobile and so many incredible vehicles there. I mean,
if you could think it was basically there some great motorcycles,
there was a monster truck. Yeah, incredible vehicles, really cool VWVA.
I mean just yeah, it was amazing. So you guys think,
thank you so much from from all of us for

(19:02):
joining us. Gauge and his family absolutely just blown away
by it all.

Speaker 2 (19:06):
He felt really loved and it was kind of it
was kind of taking aback and like, who are all
these people here? Yeah, you imagine that's all of a
sudden meeting all these people that all know you before
you know them. But yeah, huge success as far as
that goes awareness and hopefully some of you know, maybe
a vehicle cook will come out of this, because I
think that's the main goal, to get them something. Yeah, yeah, dependable. Yeah,

(19:28):
the schedule they got to endure right now with everything
that's going on with engaged in the entire family, but
they've felt love and thank you so much for everybody
that came out all.

Speaker 4 (19:36):
Right, and of course you can get nice little recaps
see what you might have missed up on our socials
or maybe relive again.

Speaker 3 (19:41):
Ninety eight Rocks the band Instagram.

Speaker 2 (19:43):
D CDC on Tampa Bay's Rock Station, ninety eight Rock
and Star. Guddess our resident astrologist on Mondays Life Coach
and a little astrology I mean well straight shooter.

Speaker 4 (19:56):
Yeah, a whole lot of humor and love too, and
I ain't nothing off limits with you, which happened early
birthday once again, feel free to draw your birthday love
to Janet.

Speaker 6 (20:03):
You're going to get the worst I did.

Speaker 3 (20:05):
She love her because our birthday will be next week,
which we're all going to be gone for for labor day.

Speaker 6 (20:11):
We're celebrating my birthday.

Speaker 3 (20:12):
That's Ryan all day off, that's what's up?

Speaker 2 (20:15):
All right? If we got the first question on the
talk back feature of the free iHeartRadio app, and you
know you got thirty seconds to get that question, and
this guy got all of his thirty seconds. All right,
here's the question there. Good morning.

Speaker 11 (20:26):
My birthday is nine, eighteen ninety three. I'm getting ready
to go on vacation on Wednesday with the next girlfriend
of mine. We're working on getting back together, working on
our relationship. Her birthday is three, twenty eight ninety nine.
I heard that Venus is entering Leo, and in fact,
my Venus is in Leo in my sixth house. So
I'm curious if that hasn't the indication as to how

(20:47):
this vacation is going to go and how well it's
going to be for both her and I appreciate any
insight you got.

Speaker 2 (20:53):
Thank you very much. Have a good day. He wants
to know if he's going to get later now, I yes,
I was, yess.

Speaker 6 (20:58):
I'm afraid he is over and over again, so he
needs to be prepared for that. Okay, that's going to
be a strain on his heart. Now generally you always
than one. Nothing wrong with that.

Speaker 2 (21:09):
I feel about the X situation like that's a you know,
kind of revisiting.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (21:14):
Well, you know, she's got the moon in Leo, so
with them having Venus and Leo, she's got the mood
in Lio. There's a genuine love bond. I'm pretty sure
they broke up over some sort of pride issue that
neither one wanted to apologize. But if they were ever
going to make it happen, man, this is the time
to do it. So I'm all good, Yeah, go for
it right and be honest, be honest with her. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah,

(21:34):
this is gonna be the love boat genuinely if it's
a cruise.

Speaker 2 (21:37):
Okaya time.

Speaker 6 (21:39):
So I'm cautiously optimistic that the stars aren't going to
stop it. He would have to do something really stupid
to stop it, all right, and I don't think he is.
He seems just too aware to do anything stupid.

Speaker 2 (21:51):
So that's a great relationship question.

Speaker 4 (21:54):
Yeah, yeah, nothing's off limits with this, which, by the way,
keep us up better.

And I just love listening to you guys here.

Speaker 3 (22:39):
Thank you, appreciate it, Thank you so much.

Speaker 6 (22:43):
Yes, I think it's a good time for her. I
don't think it's the right time just to quit your
job and go find something else. I think there and
she's gonna laugh when I tell her this, but there
was something that she thought about doing in twenty twenty one. Yep,
like right in the middle of the pandemic. Terrible time
to quit what you're doing or do something else. However,
that's the thing that she really should go and okay,
and it's going to take her probably a year or
so to get the additional education, she needs to go

(23:05):
ahead and do that. So what I would do is
start to get the education to make that career change,
and knowing that, knowing that I had that in my
pocket would make it a lot more tolerable whatever job
I was in right now. So that answer is yes,
But I don't think she'll be ready to actually leap
into it for a year, and so I think there's
some kind of pref that she's got to get additional education.

(23:26):
But I'm all for it.

Speaker 2 (23:27):
Well strategy, Yeah, yeah, all right, keep.

Speaker 4 (23:30):

Speaker 2 (23:55):
Who's first edge?

Speaker 4 (23:56):
Oh, we've got our Tampa Bay Rays, who get this
defeated the St. Louis Cardinals seven to two, take in
the series yesterday at Steinbrunner. But this game, in case
you missed it, significantly delayed. We're talking over four hours,
which actually caused majority of the crowd to leave.

Speaker 2 (24:13):
I think.

Speaker 4 (24:14):
I mean, can you blame on the wash out this weekend?
It really was It was man, it was rough on
those roads.

Speaker 3 (24:20):
But you know what wasn't so rough?

Speaker 4 (24:22):
After the delay, the Rays broke the game open and
the fifth inning with a grin.

Speaker 3 (24:27):
Well, take a listen, right.

Speaker 2 (24:33):
That baby was gone.

Speaker 6 (24:37):
Swam on the first.

Speaker 2 (24:38):
Pitch the way I mean you got it. This is
is this the best sound in sports? Right here? Seriously,
it's like this this this sound right here right there.

Speaker 3 (24:50):
How does that make you not make it happy?

Speaker 2 (24:52):
The bat? Yeah, I mean that's there's no better, right,
I mean.

Speaker 3 (24:56):
That's just yeah stuff, right unless it's the other team.

Speaker 2 (24:58):
Yeah, it doesn't sound as good.

Speaker 3 (25:00):
No, it definitely doesn't.

Speaker 4 (25:01):
But congratulations to Juter his thirty seventh homer of the year,
which actually set a new record for an American League
player twenty one or younger. And Janet his birthday's July fifty,
two thousand and three.

Speaker 3 (25:13):
Is he he tied it.

Speaker 4 (25:14):
Right with poo hoos for for this record, I believe, Yeah,
so gonna blow by that.

Speaker 6 (25:19):
Yeah, he's really hot the next six weeks or so.

Speaker 2 (25:22):
Which pulls is Dominican. They're both Dominicans, says it's his
childhood hero. So that's pretty cool stuff right there.

Speaker 4 (25:27):
I don't think he'd mind that so much, which also
shout out to Ryan Papiel had a stellar outing five
scoreless winning innings, only had one hit way to go, Ryan,
So raise ended up winning that one seventy two, seventy
two yesterday, still in it.

Speaker 6 (25:47):
Yeah, close another.

Speaker 2 (25:50):
Week or so and there's percentage points here. Yeah, gotta
be here. I'd got to carry the one. Somebody just
has to stop playing.

Speaker 4 (25:58):
Oh So, the last NASCAR regular season rays played out
in dramatic fashion over the weekend in Daytona. We're talking
multiple crashes, a number of lead changes, and the playoff
chances have some just disappeared in the blink of an eye. Unfortunately.
The congratulations to driver Ryan Blaney, who won the race,
his second victory of the year in the Cup Series
and his second win at the Coke zero four hundred

(26:22):
he previously won in twenty twenty one. But there was
a big crash in the night that happened in stage
one that took out drivers like Bubba Wallace and Alex Bowman,
among others.

Speaker 2 (26:33):
Thanks.

Speaker 7 (26:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (26:34):
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers finished their twenty twenty five preseason
with a twenty three to nineteen loss to the Buffalo Bills.
Right over here at ray J Course Built, teams rested
their starters and key players.

Speaker 3 (26:48):
Quick summary.

Speaker 4 (26:49):
You had a Teddy Bridgewater who was out due to illness.
Connor Kyle Trask and Connor Blaze ex split quarterback duties,
combining for about what two yards, two touchdowns and a
one on one point six passer rating.

Speaker 2 (27:03):
I'm a big store. These guys are playing these position
battles and stuff like that for the roster cuts. These
are some of the most important games for these people. Yeah,
oh yeah, and shallow Sanders runs into an incident where
he kind of We're not sure whether that hurt him
or not.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
But yeah, which right before we get to that, congratulations,
so that the tes Johnson bright Spot caught eight passes
fifty eight yards and a flipping touchdown.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
In case you missed that, that celebration right there in
the end zone that he said he.

Speaker 2 (27:31):
Had to see the tape on it before he rated it.
I saw that ten out of ten on the landing though.

Speaker 6 (27:36):
Yeah he did stick the landing he did it was beautiful.

Speaker 2 (27:39):
So this has made the roster. You know that's still
going right now, right, I bet he does.

Speaker 4 (27:45):
Somebody that doesn't, though, is safety Shiloh Sanders. He had
a game, just not a good one. Not only was
he penalized for pass interference on inline game, but then
he was ejected in the second quarter for an unnecessary
roughness penalty.

Speaker 3 (27:58):
In fact, here's what coach Bulls had to say about
that moment.

Speaker 2 (28:01):
We know you can't throw punches in this league. I mean,
that's that's inexcusable. They're gonna get you every time. I
got to grow from that. I still got a chance
to get out of the practice team.

Speaker 4 (28:09):
He does. As long as he's not claimed off waivers
by another team, he could still end up being a buccaneer. Yeah,
prior to what happened on Saturday. Absolutely, it's hard not
to root for the guy. He was always so great
at training camp with everybody, especially the kids afterwards, making
sure he would stay and sign every single autograph possible,
and then he'd take the kids on the fields go

(28:31):
run with him like he was.

Speaker 2 (28:32):
Great and historically we need the little depth of that
position right there, So I mean I would imagine they're
going to keep him around in some capacity for.

Speaker 4 (28:41):
Him, which the Bucks also released reliever rackem Jarrett, running
back Chase McClellan, defensive lineman Mike Green, outside linebacker Jose Ramirez,
defensive lineman Eric Banks and Devon J. Thomas, safety Willbrooks,
and offensive lineman Riquan O'Neill.

Speaker 2 (28:57):
Anything else around the league there.

Speaker 5 (28:59):
I mean, I'm looking over here at Troy Palmer. I
see his name maybe on the WILLI or won't he
make this list situation?

Speaker 2 (29:06):
So I had a lot of receivers in that room
right there. Congratulations, by the way, Tommy Fleetwood PJ wins
the FedEx Championship yesterday, which he's never won in the US,
wins yesterday for the first time the Britz, So a
pretty good feeling. Scotti Scheffler ends up fourth in that
whole thing there. All right, So we got for you
sports keg two songs away from Florida, not Florida today,

(29:28):

Florida not Florida A j Good morning.

Speaker 3 (29:58):
Who do we have joining us on the phone?

Speaker 8 (30:00):

Speaker 11 (30:01):
Hey, good morning, Steven.

Speaker 2 (30:02):
All right, Steven welcome.

Speaker 3 (30:04):
Yeah, where are you calling from today?

Speaker 11 (30:07):
I am calling from Simple Fare.

Speaker 2 (30:08):
Nice.

Speaker 3 (30:09):
We welcome.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
So today's superstar is forty eight year old Marsha.

Speaker 2 (30:15):
See.

Speaker 4 (30:15):
Marsha was angry after one of her neighbors parked two
close to the yard last week, so close that she
decided to take matters into her own hands literally and
toilet papered their car.

Speaker 2 (30:28):
Oh okay, well, unorthodox, but it's one way of doing it,
all right.

Speaker 4 (30:32):
Well, according to the police report, she was drunk and
get this, even dressed up in a hot dog costume.

Speaker 2 (30:38):
Okay, I mean, I'm I'm on board on this.

Speaker 4 (30:41):
I mean, at least she wasn't trying to you know,
pretend to be a police officer or something, and.

Speaker 2 (30:46):
She could have got out there in banana suit and
that would have been totally uncalled for. Hot dog suit appropriate, yeah,
appropriate for the crime she's committed.

Speaker 4 (30:53):
By, right, you're being a wiener about this, so we're
going to be a wiener right here, right damn Well,
when cops arrived, they said that she was leaning against
the person's car with a roll of toilet paper in hand,
pulling off strips and putting it all over the vehicle
right there.

Speaker 2 (31:08):
With the weapon in her hand. Wow, hot dog suit
on colrad pants down or uh yeah.

Speaker 4 (31:16):
So unclear if she'd have been ahead run ins with
the neighbors before, and cops didn't say why she was
dressed as a dog's.

Speaker 2 (31:23):
Kind of half defined. I saw it was five hundred
dollars and then with forty hours of community service.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
Yeah, they charged her with disorderly conduct and resisting a
prep arrest, which she pled no contest to.

Speaker 3 (31:34):
But she could work it all off with those community
service hours.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
So in the hot dog suit, I think that's got
to be part of it, right, I think so the
orange suit? All right, well, I think you got all
the information, Stephen you need for this case. Here is
this Florida or not Florida? Oh I know this one
happened in Florida. Oh yeah, okay, all right.

Speaker 3 (31:56):
I love the enthusiasm of it. And you know what,
it's a Saint Pete crime.

Speaker 2 (32:00):
You know what, Come on, St. Peter, let's go. We'll
take that one. I live in Saint Pete. This could
easily be.

Speaker 5 (32:07):
I have a hot costume and I love dishing out
stupid punishment.

Speaker 2 (32:14):
Stole your crime. Basically you're shot right there. Copycat, copycat anyone.

Speaker 3 (32:18):
She saw your ice and she upgraded the tepe.

Speaker 2 (32:21):
Definitely something would do. Which, by the.

dates now through September.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
First, she can't pull that off of the prison toilet paper.
I can tell you that right now. Oh yeah, all right,
it's a hot commodity in the joint. Man is Steve,
and what radio station rocks to beame a man? That
about teachers on the average of a career for a teacher.
Over three thousand students are affected with their career based

(32:58):
on the teacher's sort of way. There's a connection right
there between the career choice and career success and a
certain teacher. That's a lot of responsibility on a teacher
right there. But they don't get paid nearly as much.

Speaker 4 (33:10):
The station the truth, I ain't that the truth?

Speaker 3 (33:13):

Speaker 4 (36:33):
From what we can see from our studio windows, look
like Tampa's on the receiving end of that right now.
South Tampa, Uh, you know, loss is on the receiving
end of some storms right now. Bermuda the ocean as
drop of a storm Fernidad has formed, which thankfully it
looks like it's not going to make any impact on
land as it stays in the Atlantic. Two bad all

(36:54):
storms can't take that same exactly routes.

Speaker 2 (36:56):
That's something the other side of Bermuna too, so that's
even further away than the other. Yeah.

A cancer. I'd again, I would love to chip in,
and my heart is with you, but I know that
if I'm involved in it, you will not win.

Speaker 2 (38:03):
Okay. So just the other night, we wait some quick
picks and the powerball number. We had three or five
quick picks. Three of the powerball numbers are twenty four,
which happens to be Rowena's birthday. Now twenty fourth they
didn't work out? Then, speak about recycling repurposing those numbers
right there as a strategy anybody.

Speaker 3 (38:22):
It sounds good?

Speaker 4 (38:23):
Why not a power Yeah?

Speaker 8 (38:25):

Speaker 4 (38:35):
If you were to win that and you wanted to
just take the lump sum cash value three hundred and
thirty eight points six million dollars, the odds of winning
it tonight are one and two hundred and ninety two
point million. All right, best deflect to you, hey, big
heads up, as there is a seven upper recall right
now for their zero sugar soda. Apparently, the FDA says

(38:59):
that an independent bottler voluntarily recalled certain sugar free seven
episodes after thousands of hands were mislabeled. Turns out they
do in fact have sugar in them. Yeah, we go, indeed,
and guess when had happened? Mercury retrograd of course, yep,
oh wow, there you go. Yeah, and these were sold

(39:22):

Speaker 3 (39:25):
So we'll get the info for that serious.

Speaker 4 (39:29):
That's not that's very scary, very scary stuff. Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 3 (39:34):
How about some good news case you missed it.

Speaker 4 (39:36):
Over the weekend, Slash posted a rare photo of him
and Miles Kennedy and the conspirators right there in Orlando
that looked like they were at the Universal the boardwalk
the oh my goodness, the area where everybody all the
they're going to the movie theater city Walk, Thank you
very much, And he had a nice little caption announcing
that they are now putting the final touches on a

(39:57):
new album.

Speaker 2 (39:58):
It's hot time, I mean, you know a little bit. Yeah,
since they've got together last time.

Speaker 4 (40:04):
Yeah, this will be their fifth record together, following twenty
twenty two's four which they're all balancing different projects.

Speaker 3 (40:11):
You know, Slash has been touring with NR Molese, Kennedy.

Speaker 4 (40:14):
Has been doing his solo stuff as well, So looking
forward to hopefully hearing some new music from them next.

Speaker 2 (40:20):
Alter Bridge too, actually would be a good good thing.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
Just put that one out in the universe as well.

Speaker 4 (40:24):
All right, Hey, if you're looking to add a little
stress to your gaming life, According to a new survey,
Mario Kart the Way to Go Right. The study calls
Mario Kart the most stressful game of all time is
it raises the heart rate of players by an average
of thirty two point eight one percent.

Speaker 3 (40:41):
But here's the caveats to it. They didn't study.

Speaker 4 (40:44):
Every single game. Rather, they took five really stressful ones
and compared it against FIFA Football, Dark Souls, Fortnite, and
Call of Duty.

Speaker 6 (40:56):
Mario Karts is more stressful than Call of Duty. Yes,
Somebody shooting at you in Mario Cars wartime, Yeah, I mean.

Speaker 4 (41:02):
Yeah, you get bananas everything else coming your way, upset.

Speaker 2 (41:06):
Yeah, missed a four foot putt on tiger Wood, so
I don't want to hear anything amazing.

Speaker 5 (41:11):
I'm surprised they went with FIFA and not Madden. I
feel like that game just ends.

Speaker 2 (41:15):
Thing.

Speaker 3 (41:15):
Yeah, we'll get this now.

Speaker 4 (41:17):
A Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer has unveiled a new reality
feature called the Road Rage Reliever, which is essentially taking
a page from Mario cart but in a virtual way. Basically,
it allows you to put on the screen inside your
camera inside your vehicle, in which emojis appear in three
D on an eighty seven inch wide heads up display,

(41:39):
creating the illusion that you're throwing bananas or all sorts
of different emojis at the drivers in front of you.
So maybe somebody cuts you off and boom, you can
unleash a nice little emoji on the screen in front
of nd somebody's getting shot over eighty seven inch screen
in a car and essentially, yeah, it takes over the
windshield and does that.

Speaker 3 (41:57):
It projects, but it's not going to go on to
other cars.

Speaker 4 (42:00):
Cars aren't going to be able to see it, but
you and your vehicle, anybody in your vehicle will be
able to see it.

Speaker 2 (42:04):
And that's not distracting at all.

Speaker 4 (42:05):
You don't worry about it, right, But they say, while
you know people are worried about that. Yeah, they say
that actually might improve focus and reaction time more than
some of these other dashboards.

Speaker 2 (42:18):
Self driving modes just give you a little bong rip
before you take it.

Speaker 5 (42:22):
I mean, it takes control of the wheel so you
can flip them off with both fingers and not have
to worry about crashing the car.

Speaker 2 (42:28):
All right, jock, If you guys want to add some
features to a future car, just go aheading this up
on the talk back feature of the free iHeart radio app.

Speaker 4 (42:42):
Birthday girl GENI as we kick up ninety eight minutes
a commercial free rod.

Speaker 3 (42:47):
Next on crashing a ninety eight rocks.

Speaker 2 (42:49):
All right, Star Gottis is here on Mondays. She takes
phone calls and talk back questions. If you want to
keep us a thumb away, make as number on your presets.
You have access to all this stuff we're talking about.

Speaker 3 (42:59):
Yeah, it makes it it's super simple for you to
drop that question.

Speaker 4 (43:02):
And whatever the case is, just make sure to include
the full data year of all the parties involved in
the specifics, just like this one.

Speaker 12 (43:09):
I'll start at My birthday is seven seven eighty seven,
and I was wondering about my career. I was promoted
into my current role on four nine twenty two. I
love my dad, I love what I do, and I'm
doing a little step. I was wondering if there's any
opportunities coming in my way. Thank you.

Speaker 2 (43:26):
When you feel stuck, no matter even if you enjoy it,
you feel like you could get hired. It's not a
great feeling.

Speaker 3 (43:31):
She's a cancer and JU.

Speaker 6 (43:32):
Were to the planet of luck and abundances and cancer
for the first time in like twelve years. So yes,
it's time for an expanded start. Not a new start
per se, but an expanded start. And I look to
knew that there is some sort of additional education that
she needs to get to go to like the next level.
But she does that, she'll be ready to make that
move next June. So it's not a today or tomorrow thing.

(43:55):
There's some sort of intermediary step that she's got to
go through that will then take to the position where
she's not bored, she's excited to dive in. And really
it's a better use of her energies and talents.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
All Right, what can star Goddess do for you.

Speaker 3 (44:10):
That's all right, get those questions in. Best of all,
he us up in studio.

Speaker 2 (44:15):
I think it's so much better.

Speaker 6 (44:16):
Just call honestly on eight hundred seven three seven ninety
eight and it's free.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
Just what she said either way, get it to us.
We're here till ten. Then we go podcast mode. You've
got that right before noon when you follow Crash and
AJ on the free iHeartRadio app, Shane's from Brandon on
Tampa Bay's rock station ninety eight Rockets Here ninety eighty nine.
That's ninety eight minutes commercial free every day with Crash
and AJ. And when Star Goddess is here, this is
the spot we go over what we learned on the show.

Speaker 4 (44:43):
Yeah, because at nine point thirty you could pay off
with the prize, which this week it's tickets to check
out Blink We two and we're going to be performing
this Friday at the Amp.

Speaker 2 (44:51):
Nice All right, AJ, what'd you learn on the show?

Speaker 4 (44:54):
You know, Crash, I learned that if you're in Saint
Pete dressed up as a hot dog putting toilet paper
on on Baper's car, it's gonna get your superstar him
on Florida or not Florida on a trip to jail.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
Yeah, and basically stole producer Rex's idea. If he's gonna
get on there, that's the way he's going to get
on That literally would have been the way I got
on there.

Speaker 3 (45:11):
So well, I'm sure we got plenty more time to
find something else.

Speaker 5 (45:15):
Yeah, I got a taco costume too, Maybe just change
the costume up.

Speaker 2 (45:19):
All right, I got your bail money, thank you. But
you know what, I appreciate you guys. All right, what'd
you learn on that note? What did you learn on
the show man? What did I learn today?

Speaker 5 (45:27):
I learned about Slashing Moss Kennedy getting back together, like
being able to meet up together, not that they broke up.

Speaker 2 (45:34):
You know, you imagine having that many musical projects going on.
Oh yeah, let's let's that one was Slash. Let's get
that one going to I mean, really exactly sought after.
I was excited. I got to introduce him on stage.
Last time he came through. He's at the Floridian Social
Club in Saint Pete and it was one of the
last times I think he was around this area. Yeah,

(45:55):
Miles Kennedy's got one of the best voices in rock
and he does it like kind of it's unsaid, but
he's right there. As far as voices go, I'm excited
to see what they come up with.

Speaker 4 (46:04):
You know.

Speaker 5 (46:04):
I'm sure they've gotten ideas from being out on the
world on their own, so.

Speaker 2 (46:08):
Let's go right, all right.

Speaker 6 (46:10):
Targu learn on the show that Hooters is going to
be modifying some of it stuff, and I don't think
it should. I think, you know, when they go, oh,
we wanted to be more family friendly, I think plenty
of fathers will take their sons to Hooters, right, and
they'll be all happy. I don't think they want their
daughters to go there, but definitely take their sons there.

Speaker 2 (46:26):
They'll be single fathers, right. Apparently they're going to be
the plane.

Speaker 4 (46:32):
But cheeks, Yeah, if this guy gets his way. There's
a couple of people that are, you know, voicing their
opinions on what to do because they've been having issues
and they've had a lot of restaurants that they've been
closing down.

Speaker 3 (46:43):
So that was one of the possibilities.

Speaker 1 (46:46):
Win.

Speaker 2 (46:47):
Maybe some jeorts, get some jeorts in there. Gosh, no, no, no,
you want people to come to it orange sjorts? How
about orange no, get out of here, go the other.

Speaker 8 (46:55):
Way with it.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
More men, I learned apparently butt sniffing is it can
be addictive. Allah are Florida or not Florida superstar who
got out of jail for butt sniffing. He's a cereal
butt sniffer. Didn't know that was a thing. But then
he strolls over to Norse from Rack, which I do
frequent that place every once in a while.

Speaker 4 (47:17):
Yeah, and this is an update to the one and
he's talking about this happened last month.

Speaker 2 (47:21):
He went to jail last month, got out and went
right the Norse from Rack.

Speaker 3 (47:24):
Smell bus again going on, turned to the scene of
the crown.

Speaker 2 (47:26):
Yeah, here's the lady, one of the victims right here,
all right.

Speaker 9 (47:29):
I didn't realize he was so close to me until
I heard like his jewelry or something, and he sounded
extremely close to me. So that's when I turned around
and noticed that he was right under me. So that's
when I stepped back towards the bookcase, and I asked
him what he was doing, and he said that he
was tying his shoe. He was smelling me, and he

(47:49):
smelled another person in the store. It's honestly infuriating because
he's done this for thirteen plus years, so they know
what he's going to do when they release him again.

Speaker 2 (47:59):
I just think about his buddies in jails, like when
he comes back to jail. Hey, look it is the
bus nipper guy again. Who's Florida and off Florida. Welcome back,
welcome back, get away from the shower. Okay, how does
it smell out there? All right? Maybe maybe if it's
maybe it's a dude's But next time, maybe it'll be

(48:21):
a different story. Maybe that'll be finally, this last last
draw right there. All right, I think he's gone this far.

Speaker 5 (48:26):
He's probably already encountered that he's probably awesome expanded his
no way never again?

Speaker 4 (48:32):
All right?

Speaker 2 (48:32):
Christ Jailerrol part of the iHeartRadio Music Festival, just fired
off that keyword moments ago. All right.

Speaker 4 (48:37):
Yeah, if you want to while win that free trip
for two to Vegas who experience him alongside the Offspring
and many more, text this nationwide keyword Vegas to two
hundred and two hundred for your chance to wed and
of course, be ready to answer the phone call from
the number you don't recognize. Could say spam, could say private,
could say restricted it'll be coming some time just after
ten o'clock, maybe maybe.

Speaker 2 (48:57):
Some of the stars for you. I got star guys
on board this morning as always with the talk back
here for her to answer.

Speaker 6 (49:02):
Hi, Startratus.

Speaker 13 (49:04):
My birthday is four six seventy eight. His birthday is
a three seventeen seventy eight. We've been talking for a
while now, and I was wondering if it's going to
go anywhere.

Speaker 2 (49:18):
Thank you? What are they talking about it?

Speaker 6 (49:20):
I'm always curious what they're talking about it. And to me,
when I say I'm talking to somebody that doesn't indicate
like a sexual relationship, that means like we're just talking.

Speaker 3 (49:28):
But apparently a lot of other realms it does. So
the generation of the realm.

Speaker 6 (49:32):
Ye, yeah, it is so if that's the case, I
think I just don't know why it hasn't been consummated yet,
yeacause she's ares and they don't like to wait for anything.
He's got to vet us in areas, they don't like
to wait for anything. So I'm curious as to why
I'm wondering if like the location is not ideal. So,
but I think you ought to go for it. I
think you guys would be really compatible. But you got

(49:53):
to know you're going to have to take care of him, okay,
because he's a Pisces, he's got something in cancer, and
take care of him. But yeah, it means that, Yeah,
just what I said, She's gonna have to take care
of him. So there's something going on there that So
but I think that there. I think that his venus
and ares and her moon and aries means it could

(50:15):
be a real love bond. And they're in that six
weeks on either side of one another. So all right,
I just tease a cancer when it's got a pieces,
he's got some habit.

Speaker 2 (50:23):
So they're eventually going to be bumping star parts. Take
that out of the way, shooting stars. You're right nice,
all right, we got the crash test coming up. That's
in the stars a few minutes away. You're ninety eighty
nine on nainety eight Rock. It's nine thirty. This is

(50:44):
the crash test on ninety eight Rock. Have you been
paying attention? It's the time of paid off right now.

Speaker 4 (50:51):

between six tens six fifteenish during our first daily Nuggets,
which this morning it was one that Crash had mentioned
from a celebrity celebrating a birthday today, and there's quite
a few of them.

Speaker 3 (51:06):
Yeah, which one is it?

Speaker 2 (51:08):
Okay?

Speaker 3 (51:09):
Who is the quote from? First person?

Speaker 6 (51:10):
To get that right?

Speaker 4 (51:11):

Friday at the Amp with Blincoln, Eddie two and Alkaline
Trio eight hundred and seven three seven Double one Edty
Eights ninety eight.

Speaker 3 (51:23):

Speaker 2 (51:25):
All right?

Speaker 4 (51:25):
Well, I hope you're paying attention during today's first Daily Nugget,
which included a quote from which birthday celebrity.

Speaker 2 (51:33):
Jeane Simmons, Yeah, Jean Simmons.

Speaker 4 (51:36):
Gee Simmons from KITS celebrating is seventy six today?

Speaker 2 (51:40):
When is that biopic or dot gonna come out? And
got it right? Probably a lot of the non disclosure
agreements sign that bad boy right there.

Speaker 8 (51:52):
For good?

Speaker 2 (51:52):
Yeah, man, congratulations, thank you.

Speaker 3 (51:55):
