Speaker 1 (00:00):
Oi, thank you, ma'am.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
I'm time for Heyja in the morning. Quickie on ninety
a rock brought to you by Barjo Ford.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
Right ninety will be your high average across the bay
with some pop up showers, maybe some thundershowers right around noon,
then getting dryer and then fired up again for the
evening showers in light shows.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Aja, good morning, Hey, good morning.

Speaker 3 (00:20):
Crash and thousands of public shoppers are banding together to
bring back a once longtime staple and the store's bakery
section during hurricane season we're talking hurricanes. As of yesterday afternoon,
more than thirty one one thousand people have signed a
petition for publics to bring back the hurricane cakes or
hurricanes as they're referred to.

Speaker 4 (00:42):
Messages like go.

Speaker 3 (00:43):
Away or leave Florida alone will be displayed on the cakes,
along with hurricane graphics from the National Hurricane Center. Now,
the petition's asking for thirty five thousand skit signatures. But honestly,
I don't really know what's going to happen if that
goal's reached, because this isn't something from publics. This is
something fans are creating and pushing for, hoping to get
noticed and hopefully make a change on it.

Speaker 1 (01:04):
I mean, anybody can make a hurricane cake, not just
the publis. I mean, and here's my rule on it,
because I get why people are upset a while back
when a hurricane comes in ravages the area and they're
still selling hurricane cakes. I think the hurricane cake should
be available before the storm. Nothing's going on with the storm,
some more hurricane cakes. I mean it's gonna be a

(01:26):
touch and go kind of touchy subject.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
Yeah, it's touchy anyway, though.

Speaker 3 (01:30):
I mean, I don't think they're necessarily selling them after
the hurricanes, especially when there was so much damage.

Speaker 4 (01:36):
You know, I don't think Publics was doing that.

Speaker 5 (01:38):
I think they need to just take that money and
you just make it a charitable donation. You want a
hurricane cake, it goes to aftermath of the situation, The hurricane.

Speaker 2 (01:48):
Cake goes over there.

Speaker 5 (01:49):
I think if Publics really wants to jump in on
the pr that's how you do it. And you get
everyone buying it and the money goes to a great cause.

Speaker 4 (01:57):
Knowing that it's going to help hurricane relief.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
Done.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
Do we got to come up with all good ideas
all the time. How about hurricane Pizzas. I'm down with Hurricane.

Speaker 4 (02:03):
Peza, absolutely sure in favor. Yeah, let's go.

Speaker 3 (02:09):
So. New efforts underway to redraw political districts are underway
in both Texas and looks like here in Florida. Now,
in Texas, the Republican led House passed a new congressional
map designed to add as many as five GOP seats
for the twenty twenty six midterm elections. Now, the new
map turns three traditionally democratic districts into Republican ones and
shifts two others to be more favorable to the GOP,

(02:32):
which they say. That bill has now moved to the
state Senate for a final vote. Meanwhile, here in Florida, yesterday,
Governor de Santis announced plans to push for new congressional
maps ahead of the twenty twenty six mid terms. He
says that Florida was undercounted in the last sentence and
is owed additional congressional seats. Democrats, including party chair Nikki Fried,

(02:52):
have accused Republicans of trying to quote unquote rig this
system and steal the twenty twenty six elections by redrawing
maps outside of the usual ones.

Speaker 4 (03:02):
A decade census process.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
All right, first fall I'll understand any of that right there.
It's called jerry mandering. Secondly, all politics are dirty. If
it's politics, it's dirty, all right, you should see it.
They draw these lines, they're ridiculous, Like just draw a
basic square, like it's not really that different. They're cut
off a waterway and they'll have the guns, one little

(03:25):
strip of what like. Come on, you've got in a
boat right here. You can vote this way right.

Speaker 2 (03:28):
Regardless of politics. Let's just draw circle.

Speaker 3 (03:31):
Make itke it, make it you make it easy to
much so you never know what you'll see at a
metal course show. And last night ninety eight Rock presents
Falling in Reverse, Wage War Tech nine and sleeve Theory
case in point for it. Ronnie Radkey at one point
jumped down in the crowd with the l used to
be one of the frontmen of Bad Wolves at one point,

(03:53):
who's now playing bas and singing backups alongside him. They
jumped down, walked in the middle of the crowd, and
all of a sudden, this moment happened.

Speaker 4 (04:00):
Right here.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
He's looking astonished right now, looking at this little girl.

Speaker 5 (04:11):
You're like seven years old, looking away.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
What's this dog thing?

Speaker 2 (04:22):
I don't know. Yeah, this is really nice.

Speaker 1 (04:24):
I like this.

Speaker 2 (04:27):
Let me ask you this, where did the dog get
his tickets? Because that was a good seat right here.

Speaker 3 (04:35):
Oh yeah, one of the most host soulsome things we've seen.
And of course you can see the full video. I
mean when he notices the dog for yeah, you gotta

beat out food. It's a little shame but bliger wise,
actually not too bad. Exit all, it's not too bad.
It doesn't taste like cat food.

Speaker 4 (05:28):
Oh, you don't you sound very convinced there.

Speaker 2 (05:31):
Are you sure?

Speaker 1 (05:32):
I think you put a little bit of that McRib
sauce on there. And anything I'll eat, I'll try the
cat food burg Tell him that it's cat food. Just
say it's like an Ostrich burger or something I've eatn Ostrich.

Speaker 2 (05:41):

Speaker 3 (05:50):

from the tech world.

Speaker 4 (05:55):

Speaker 3 (05:56):
The world's first pregnancy robot, Oh Jeez, is said to
be in development as we speak in China now. The
robot is said to be designed in humanoid form and
is quote unquote equipped with an artificial woman. It's abdomen,
that womb designed to carry a fetus for ten months
and give birth. Now prototype they say will be released

(06:19):
