Today, the Crazy Train is going out to Sydney, Australia,
where a grandfather just went to the daycare to pick
up his one year old grandson. Unfortunately, it was naptime
when grandpa came to pick up the little baby, and
so the staff at the daycare gave the grandfather the baby.
(00:27):
He puts the baby in the car and he drives
home and he had the baby for two hours before
someone realized, all dang, we gave him the wrong baby.
How do you realize? How do you not realize that
you picked up somebody who was not your grandchild?
Speaker 1 (00:47):
Oh god, I guess.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
They said that the room was dark, the kids were asleep,
so they just picked up a baby that kind of
looked like, I guess his grandson. And he didn't know
because the baby's sleep. I'm not like, I don't see,
I don't see how this could have happened. No, that
is no. They finally figured out who took the baby
because the staff didn't even know. Oh it was a
(01:11):
it was an older gentleman who took the son. Like
they didn't even know who they gave the baby to
the mom came to pick up her son and was like,
where's my child? And they were looking around like, oh,
this isn't your kid, No, where is my baby? So
scary they had to run the tape and look at
the CCTV footage and that's how they were able to
(01:33):
track down who they gave the baby to. That's crazy,
that's super crazy and scary.
Speaker 1 (01:40):
The fact that the daycare can do that. Oh no,
the poor grandfather.
Speaker 2 (01:46):
Bad, he felt bad. Oh this is not my grandson.
