Today, the Crazy Train is heading out to the United Kingdom.

Sometimes as you get older.
Speaker 2 (00:12):
Little things like sleeping wrong will cause you to wake
up with pain that you never thought you could even experience. Well,
a thirty six year old woman in the UK almost
lost her life after a yawn. What She literally yawned
so hard she ended up breaking her neck. How hard
(00:32):
do you have to yawn to almost break your neck?
She woke up early one morning to try and get
her daughter a bottle of formula. She saw her baby yawn,
and of course, instinctively you see someone yawn, then you yawn.
But then when she yawned, she said, she felt an
electric shock sensation shoot through her body and left her
arm stuck in the air. And then she knew, like
(00:54):
right away, something's wrong. She called her husband, said, call
an ambulance, something's wrong.
Speaker 3 (00:58):
I don't know what happened. They took her to the hospital.
Speaker 2 (01:01):
Turns out her C six and C seven bones in
her neck when she yawned shot forward into her spine
and literally broke her neck.
Speaker 3 (01:13):
That's crazy, crazy, Yeah, is crazy? Wow over a yawn?
Speaker 2 (01:18):
She said She's still struggling with the nerve damage today,
but she often gets like pains shooting down her her
arms and into her back and into her neck. But
luckily she was alive to tell the tale, because she
almost could have died from a yawn.
