Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is deeper in the din with dangerous day. You know,
some people are really starting to like certain aspects of
chat GPT, which might prompt a nephew to yell out,
If you like it so much, then why don't you
marry it? Well, some people might. They asked to poll,
do you think you can have a romantic relationship with
an AI chatbot companion? About six percent of people said yes,

(00:22):
including one percent who said they already have. About eight
percent said probably not. A whopping eighty one percent said
definitely not. Younger men between the ages of eighteen and
forty four are the demographic mors likely to think they could.
Women seem to be a little more skeptical, even though
some would probably admit that a chat pot would be
better conversation than their husband. Probably twelve percent of people

(00:44):
said they think they could form a deep emotional bond
with a chat pot, but only six percent think they
could have an erotic or sexualized relationship with ani chatpot companion. Again,
in both cases, younger male demographics seem to be more
optimistic than anyone else. I guess maybe that's it's the
one demographic for them that never says noper In the two. Well,

(01:04):
I know your kid's gonna look great in that K
Pop Demon Hunter's costume, but was it worth the spend?
Two new polls on Halloween just landed unspending. It's not
a cheap holiday, especially for parents. One pole the average
persons who celebrates about two hundred and eighty nine dollars.
That includes parents and non parents. But that's the average,
So if you're celebrating without kids, it's about one hundred
and ninety three. Average parent's going to shell out four

(01:26):
hundred and forty five bucks. The breakdown includes a two
hundred and eighty nine dollars average. The money goes to
costumes about fifty eight bucks per person, fifty seven on decorations,
fifty one on party supplies, fifty one on tickets for
things like haunted houses, fifty dollars for trig or treaders
for candy, twenty three dollars on other stuff. A separate
pole pegged a total of two hundred and ninety six

(01:46):
dollars about three hundred bucks. Found we spent about thirty
three dollars on costumes for our pets every year. Now,
the National Retail Federation had its own pole. They claimed
that the average spend is one hundred and fourteen dollars,
but that's just on candy, costumes, decorations, and greeting cards.
It's a new record of eleven dollars from last year,
but four hundred and forty five dollars on average for

(02:06):
parents with kids, now that's scary. Tune it again for
another episode of Deeper in the Den with dangerous Dave
light Year.
