Speaker 1 (00:00):
This, he's deeper in the den with dangerous day. Would
your relationship with your dentists be different if you had
to take a courtroom oath and sworn in at the
front desk so you wouldn't lie about your unflost teeth.
In a new survey, fifty seven percent of Americans admit
they lie to their dentists about dental hygiene. Sixty percent
of those said that they do it to impress their dentists,

(00:22):
thirty three percent don't want their dentists to think less
of them, and nineteen percent describe them as unintentional panic
lies that accidentally slip out. Sixty four percent of people
who lie to their dentists say they feel guilty about
their dishonesty, but don't worry too much, Dennis, No, it's
what they do. Forty eight percent of people said they
know their dentists can see right through their lives about

(00:43):
flossing and brushing, but for whatever reason, they still do it. So, yeah,
when you're telling your dentists that, yeah, I do it
a couple times a week, he knows, No, you don't.
Deeper in the two Well, let's sleep Awareness Week. Each
day has a theme, so yesterday was National napping Day.
Today is National dream Day. You know, nobody has exactly

(01:03):
the same type of dreams. That would be kind of weird,
but there's a lot of similarities in dreams. A casual
pull ASTs people online if they've experienced these twelve dream themes,
and over twenty thousand people weighed in. Hear the results.
A dream where you're being chased it was a top
on the list. Eighty nine percent of people have experienced that.
A dream where you're falling eighty seven percent. A dream

(01:24):
where you really hurt someone it's seventy five percent. A
dream where you're running late to something important, seventy two
percent of people have had that one. My question is,
do people put in zero effort on being on time? Ever?
Have that dream? I'm thinking not a dream where you
lost your voice, unable to shout or call for help.
A dream where you're in school taking a test fifty
six percent. How about a dream where you're in school

(01:46):
in your underwear? Who A dream where you're dying fifty
six percent. A dream where your teeth are falling out.
I hear that's common. I've never had that. Forty nine percent.
A dream where you're pregnant. Yeah, forty six percent of
people have guessing a lot of guys probably have a
dream where you're killing someone at forty one percent and
a dream where you're naked in public at thirty eight percent.
I guess said, I've never had a lot of naked

(02:07):
in public ones, but ones where I'm in my underwear,
typically I'm going to school. Always got to check to
see if they're clean. Tun it again for another episode
of Deeper in the Den with Dangerous Daved right here.

Ruthie's Table 4

Ruthie's Table 4

For more than 30 years The River Cafe in London, has been the home-from-home of artists, architects, designers, actors, collectors, writers, activists, and politicians. Michael Caine, Glenn Close, JJ Abrams, Steve McQueen, Victoria and David Beckham, and Lily Allen, are just some of the people who love to call The River Cafe home. On River Cafe Table 4, Rogers sits down with her customers—who have become friends—to talk about food memories. Table 4 explores how food impacts every aspect of our lives. “Foods is politics, food is cultural, food is how you express love, food is about your heritage, it defines who you and who you want to be,” says Rogers. Each week, Rogers invites her guest to reminisce about family suppers and first dates, what they cook, how they eat when performing, the restaurants they choose, and what food they seek when they need comfort. And to punctuate each episode of Table 4, guests such as Ralph Fiennes, Emily Blunt, and Alfonso Cuarón, read their favourite recipe from one of the best-selling River Cafe cookbooks. Table 4 itself, is situated near The River Cafe’s open kitchen, close to the bright pink wood-fired oven and next to the glossy yellow pass, where Ruthie oversees the restaurant. You are invited to take a seat at this intimate table and join the conversation.
