Speaker 1 (00:00):
This, it's deeper in the den with dangerous day. We're
always hearing stuff like, you know, everybody on the road,
every driver's thanks, you're an awesome driver, and everybody else
is terrible. This survey, though probably a little more realistic.
A new survey asked Americans how they do on a
driving test. If they took one right now on about
forty percent four out of ten confident they could ace
it on the flip side. Twenty five percent of people

(00:22):
admit that probably fail. To be honest, I think that
number is a little bit higher. It seems to me
when I'm driving. A lot of people just don't know
the basic rules of the road. And it's not just
about knowing the rules of the road. Many Americans admit
they don't even know their own vehicles. Average driver understands
about seventy eight percent of their dashboard indicators and warning lights.
Most people know they're oil light and check engine one,

(00:44):
but less than half the country could identify tigre pressure
lights or break system warnings. Most people said they'd have
to google a warning light to find out what it
meant if they didn't know. Fifteen percent admit they never
looked at their cars owner's manual. Really, how about if
we put your owner's manual on your phone, then you
could read that instead while you're driving deeper in the

(01:05):
two would you say you're a people pleaser? If so,
you're in company? Forty eight percent of Americans admit they're
people pleasers, Forty seven percent said they're not in five
percent we're not sure. Fifty two percent of people that
are people pleasers are women, forty four percent are men,
and young people are more likely to say yes if
you're not sure if you're a people pleaser or not.
See how many of these categories you fall into. Do

(01:26):
you often go to great lengths to avoid conflicts? Seventy
one percent of Americans said they do. Do you put
other people's needs ahead of your own? Sixty nine percent
said yes. Do you feel like you can't say no
when somebody asks a favor? Fifty two percent said yes.
Do you feel responsible for other people's feelings forty eight
percent of people do? Do you struggle to establish boundaries?

(01:46):
Thirty six percent said yes? And do you agree with
a lot of people even when you don't really agree?
Twenty five percent said they do a lot. All of
those make you a people pleaser. One in four Americans
think they're seen as people pleasers, and they wish they
were not seen that way. I try to be a
people pleaser. I try to make people happy. Sometimes my
mouth gets me in trouble. Tuning again for another episode
