Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is deeper in the din with dangerous date. Well,
I wonder if these answers would change if somebody asked
the question on a Monday like today. Would you say
your job has a meaningful impact on the world or
is it totally pointless, just a means to the end.
A new poll found that most Americans do feel that
their job has a meaning. Sixty two percent said yes,

(00:22):
eighteen percent were sure, and twenty percent said they're just
keeping the chair warm. College grads more likely to say
their job makes a difference, so were the people with
classic office jobs that involved meetings and emails. So if
your job doesn't involve those two things, thirty one percent
chance you feel like you're just spinning your wheels and
earning a paycheck. I think my job has a meaning.

(00:43):
I really do tell you some silly things and maybe
make you feel better about yourself. Deeper in the door. Well,
have you ever added this up? The total might be
higher than you'd think. A TikTok mom going viral after
she counted up all the different gadgets with screens her
family has. She has a husband and four kids, aged two, five, seven,
and ten. She counted everything with the screens, so TVs

(01:05):
all the way down to Apple Watches. The grand total
was two dozen screens in their homes. Almost half of
them were TVs. Somehow they had nine. Both adults and
all four kids have their own iPad, even the two
year old. Even the five year old has a second
one for speech therapy, so seven tablets total. She counted
two Apple Watches, two computers, three iPhones, and Nintendo Switch,

(01:25):
twenty four different screens on average of four per person.
That's crazy. I was just thinking about just between my
wife and I twelve twelve, Yeah, wait a minute, thirteen.
I forgot to count my etches sketch too. They came
for another episode of Deeper in the Den with Dangerous
Dave light Year.
