Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is deeper in the din with dangerous date. Well
kind of ironically, this might even give you bad dreams.
A new study in England found people who have a
lot of nightmares are more likely to drop dad. Researchers
tracked people for two decades and the ones who had
nightmares at least once a week were three times more
likely to die before the age of seventy. They found

(00:21):
having a lot of nightmares also makes a person age faster,
so before they kill you, they might make you look
like a wrinkly old person. Really, they think it's because
our bodies respond to the stress the same way we
would in real life. Nightmares need to prolonged elevations of quartosol,
a stress hormone closely linked to faster cellular aging. So
having a lot of nightmares makes us age faster. I

(00:43):
used to have a lot of nightmares, don't have as
many anymore, except when I realize I'm still getting up
at quarter after three deeper in the two. Well, it's
hot across the country, cool down a little bit here,
but it's going to heat up again by the weekend.
Somebody went on social media and asked a simple question,
why do people wear when it's ninety degrees outside. Why well.
Some people had real answers, like they wanted to protect

(01:05):
their skin, or they're more comfortable in bulky clothing because
they're insecure about their body. Other people had some more
unique reasons. Some of the best ones include I always
wear it. It's like my security blanket. Or I'm trying
to hide my boobs and I'm a man. I don't
want to get bit by bugs, especially mosquitos. Everybody's blasting
the ac so much it makes me cold. Other reasons
people wear hoodies even when it's hot. My inner thermostat

(01:28):
is broken and I'm literally always cold. I want to
walk the dog with op throwing on a bra every
time it's cool. It's plunk or a street youth thing.
My hoodies look awesome. I'm trying to shoplift and I
don't know why if people wear shorts when it's thirty
degrees outside. And speaking of the heat, a video circulating
online shows the road buckling under the heat in Cape Girardo, Missouri.

(01:49):
It caused the cardgo airborne. And if you're looking for
a nice cold beverage to cool yourself down warmer summer heat,
disposally inspiring a new fancy ice at trendy bars, restaurants,
in private parties. Ice could become specialized shapes, be stamped
with images, or it contains things like flowers inside. Isn't
a brand new thing, of course, but starting to take
off again because of the soaring temperatures. What I like

(02:12):
to do is go sit in the water, grab an
icy cold beverage and thank god it's not winter. Tun
it again for another episode of Deeper in the Den
with Dangerous Daved right here.
