(00:00):
This is deeper in the den withDangerous Day. Well, Earth Day is
over. Some people celebrating by figuringout how to recycle some of the worthless
clutter piling in their homes. GoogleTrends just release some data on what people
in various states are actually looking torecycle more than other states. Here's some
of the things each state is fixatedon. Eleven states focused on typical stuff

(00:22):
bottles, cans, thirteen states googlinghow to expense of technology like TVs,
phones, computers, and five stateswant to be reminded the process for batteries,
double A and car batteries. Fourstates asking about pizza boxes, two
states looking to get rid of tires, and a couple looking to get rid
of excess clothing. A couple morelooking to dispose of old mattresses. But

(00:45):
there is some weirder stuff on thislist. People in Ohio and Vermont want
to know how to recycle wrapping paper. People in Nevada and Georgia dealing with
Christmas trees. For Colorado, it'spaint. For Tennessee, it's plastic bags,
Texas is plastic hangars, South Dakotaegg cartons for some reason, Wyoming
fast food cups, Florida Red Solocups. I guess now that spring break

(01:07):
crowds are gone, they're cleaning thosebabies up for Louisiana also branded Mardi Gras
beads, and in Indiana eclips glasses, which makes sense. Indianapolis was pretty
much dead center of totality, Sothose are some of the items people are
trying to recycle. My favorite thingto recycle my old jokes Deeper in the
tea. Well. Some people thinkabout their next vacation while they're burned out

(01:30):
at work. Other people think abouttheir next vacation wall sipping out of my
tie in the beach. In anew survey, twenty percent of Americans say
they're always thinking about their next vacation. While they're on vacation, the average
person will spend eleven days last yearfifteen days this year. That's a little
boost. That would be a goodthing because eighty six percent of people consider
vacations to be a form of selfcare. About eighty percent of people would

(01:53):
be interested in doing nothing on vacation, like sitting by a pool or beach,
or even sitting inside just and relaxingwith a book. They didn't ask
about staycations. But the nice thingis about going somewhere is it's easier to
separate yourself from the usual chores andobligations, even if you're not actually going
into the office. So apparently peoplelike to think of their next vacation while

(02:16):
they're on vacation. Makes sense becauseyou can compare to what you're doing now
and plan for the next one.I'm just hoping the next time I'm planning
on a vacation when I'm on vacation, that next vacation is the following week.
