Speaker 1 (00:00):
This is deeper in the den with dangerous day. This
is good info to half next time you can't decide
who's going to make dinner or gets the ride shotgun.
Somebody pulled thousands of people and asked what you're most
likely to choose when playing rock paper scissors. Most common
answer is rock. I knew that thirty four percent of
people usually go with rock, twenty three percent scissors, twenty

(00:22):
percent paper, So choosing paper in your first throw gives
you the best odds for winning. The other twenty three
percent said they don't know what they're usually going to
go for, they mix it up. Same pole also asked
about two other games a chance and the stats on
those two, So flipping a coin ez er tails, fifty
nine percent said heads, twenty one percent said tales. Nineteen

(00:42):
percent said they don't have a preference choosing a number
one through ten clear winner wopping thirty percent is seven
is to go to number. If you're the one asking,
don't choose seven unless you want them to guess it.
The number five is a distant second at twelve percent
of the vote, so if you want to guess wrong,
the best to pick one. Only one percent of people
say it's their go to number. Ten is second at

(01:05):
two percent, So if you want to be wrong, one
or ten is what you go with, at least I
put that on a number of one through three deeper
in the two So do you check out of a
hotel when you leave or do you just walk out?
Obviously more of a breeze than it once was, and
there's an argument online about proper etiquette. See a gen
Z woman posted on TikTok of her walking out the

(01:25):
door to a hotel in a parking lot with the
tagline older generations, this is how you'll check out of
a hotel. You just walk out, and she added to
caption the front desk doesn't need you to tell them
you're checking out, and they don't need the room key.
That may be technically true in a lot of places,
but comments are calling it rude. One person said, as
a former housekeeper, it makes our job easier your plight

(01:45):
to let somebody know. Others say they'll let staff know
if they're leaving early, but not if they're leaving it
checkout time, because what's the difference. Others say they always
give people a heads up in hopes it makes the
process of cleaning the rooms more efficient and possibly allowing
for the next person to get an early check in
and might help them out. Some people say that you
should always check out at the front desk get a

(02:06):
receipt so there won't be any additional charges. It might
be of a bit of a boomer take since you
can't get the receipt on an app or through an email,
or sometimes they place it under the door. Some people
say they don't bother the front desk if they can
check out on an app, and if you can do that,
that makes total sense. Somebody else said, I'll try to
check out, but if there's nobody at the front desk,
I just walk out. Understandable as well. Finally, somebody says,

(02:30):
just let them know you're walking out. Takes ten seconds.
I agree with that. So back in the day, I
would always check out, ride a checkout time, or sometimes
I would ask for late checkout. I rarely do that anymore. Nope,
most of the time I'm asking for an early check in,
and because of that, I always tell the front desk
we're leaving in case they want to get into the
room and get it clean. You don't know how messy

(02:51):
I am too. They can for another episode of Deeper
