Speaker 1 (00:00):
Please, it's Ober in the den with dangerous day. Now.
This could be good news or bad news, depending upon
when you're heading off to work. A study has found
that rush hour is evolving. They're not as many cars
on the road pre nine am anymore because traffic is
getting more spaced out a lot of cities. That means
many rush hours all day long. The report found that

(00:21):
midday rush hour is worse than ever. There's as many
cars on the road at noon as there is at
nine am and five pm. It's a general trend since
COVID HIT and flexible high red schedules became a thing.
You think spreading it out would mean that there's never
a rush hour, but another report found public transportation never
fully rebounded after the pandemic. There's just more cars on

(00:42):
the road. A traffic analyst behind the report said there's
less of a morning commute, less of an evening commute,
and more midday activity. Now. I guess it's something we're
going to have to get used to. It's called the
new normal. I don't know if I technically agree with this,
because I notice at least an hour city, the trap
that thick is a little less around ten am, nine
am in the morning, but at five twenty in the

(01:04):
afternoon watch out deeper in the two well. A new
study ask people when they procrastinate the most, and apparently
they got specific answers, not just dancwers like all the time.
After analyzing the responses, they determine peak procrastination hits twelve
or six pm on Mondays, So it sounds like people
get to work, shake off the cobwebs, do a few
hours of work, then basically they're over it by lunchtime. Overall,

(01:28):
seventy one percent of Americans admit to procrastinating. The other
twenty nine percent I guess are actively procrastinating on answering truthfully.
Study also asked people when they usually find themselves procrastinating,
what are they doing? They include watching TV, screwing through
social media, or taking a nap, visiting with family or
and friends, grabbing a b teet, doing nothing, going for

(01:49):
a walk, or just going shopping. I'm assuming those going
shopping are probably doing it online and trying to hide
it from the boss. If you were sitting at work,
I was going to tell you how much I pre crossinate,
but I guess I decided to put it off till
later tune it again for another episode of Deeper in
the Den with dangerous daved Right, dear
