Speaker 1 (00:00):
And welcome back to Dumb and Dangerous. Everybody, please introduce yourselves.
Speaker 2 (00:03):
I'm Jimmy and I am the dungeon Master.
Speaker 3 (00:06):
Hey, I'm Brandon. I'll be playing Sir Hogan. He is
literally just Hulk Hogan as a dwarf.
Speaker 4 (00:11):
Hi. I'm Elise. I'm going to be playing Larry the Satyr.
He is medium sized sader at about five to eleven
in height and he's got brown hair.
Speaker 1 (00:22):
I'm Producer Blake and I'll be playing Hamnlik. I am
a tee fling that's about medium size. He's six foot,
he weighs roughly one hundred and eighty five pounds, with
broken horns and dark blue skin.
Speaker 5 (00:32):
Hey, my name is Baron. I will be playing Beltrazor.
Beltrazor is an older human man with silvery hair, a
kind heart nature, and a talent for the arcane arts.
Speaker 2 (00:40):
To start off this session, what I like to do
for my players, I give you all an option to
go ahead and give a recap of what happened last
time for an inspiration.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
Die all right, I'll do it, all right, Okay, So
what happened last time was Hamnelik, Sir Hogan, and Larry
were all tasked by the King's guards to go to
a Goblind camp for a trade of sorts, to take
(01:13):
money or to get something from the guards, and then
head back. We do that. I tried making a deal
when we weren't supposed to. Then on the way back
we encounter an owl bear which killed Larry. Sir Hogan
and ham Nelek had to take on the fight. Larry
(01:34):
took out most of the damage. Hamnlik ended up doing
the finishing blow and we carried Larry back. And on
the way back we heard another owl bear following us,
and then the King's giant guard came back picked us up.
And where we were left off was we were at
a camp while I was singing or Hamlik was singing
(01:56):
Pink Pony club as a sea shanty around the campfire,
and Sir Hogan was humming. And that's where we left.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Off the road, all right, I like it close enough.
You can go and take that inspiration die a little.
Just little notes on that. For one, Larry didn't die,
You just got knocked unconscious. That's there's a difference. If
Larry is dead, he'd be gone. And you guys did
that deal with a group of bandits specifically I was
(02:28):
clout a road beer.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Also, yeah, I can't forget the road beer.
Speaker 2 (02:33):
Oh yes, the road beer. Absolutely. We always got to
have some good road beer on you. So, yeah, you
guys ended your night back at the camp and as
far as you're where, you're gonna get up the next
morning and start making way back to the capital, well,
the the duchy capital of Morrington. You all wake up
(02:55):
kind of locking your wounds a little bit. Some of
you got hurt more than others. Larry, you are stiff
and sore. You're healed up to where you're like you
you don't think you're gonna get a in affection anything,
but man, do you hurt? Okay, Hamlick and Sir Hogan,
(03:17):
I'm pretty sure y'allre gonna wake up a little bit
of hangovers. Now let's go roll for hangover roller coaster.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Yeah, I like that constitution.
Speaker 2 (03:30):
Yeah, all right, Hamlick is hung over as all hell.
Sir Hogan is fine. That was fifty beers is light stuffed.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
An average tuesday for Sir Hogan.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
All right, Uh, y'all wake up, and Hamlock you wake
up a little bit later than everybody. Well, Sir Hogan,
you wake up a little bit later too, while you
don't have a hangover, he still slept in good little bit. Uh,
everyone is already starting to pack up. I presume you
go ahead and start packing up your things, what little
things you may have. Is there anything anyone, either any
of you three or wanting to do before you get going?
Speaker 3 (04:16):
I try and find uh, like casket. They still haven't,
you know, packed up yet, so I can get my
road beer.
Speaker 2 (04:24):
Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, there's you can get road
beer on the road. But if you want to keep
some on you, you absolutely can. You gotta keep some
on you gotta keep some, so you gotta keep that
thing on you. Yeah, all right, Larry Hamnrlick, I'm gonna
Larry's just gonna stretch. Yeah, you stretch, and you feel
(04:50):
every muscle in your body. That owl bear really messed
you up a pain, But you're able to work through it.
You think, even though you're going through all this, you're
tough enough. You can work through all the pain. Hi, Kemlick,
We're about to say something.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Hem Lick is going to waddle outside of the tent
and just crush the tent to pack it.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
That is very hand lick coded. I love it. Yeah, Well,
everyone else is like carefully unpitching their tents and folding
them up nicely so they can be used properly. Again,
you just kind of kick the sticks out of the ground.
You just kind of scrunching it all up, and you
have your big burlap sack that you kind of just
shove it all into.
Speaker 1 (05:39):
Hemlick does not.
Speaker 2 (05:42):
I think that's beautiful. That's might if you didn't have
an inspiration die already, I would give you one just
for that. I love that. Oh yeah I should also.
I can't remember if I said it last time, but
I will also give inspiration die just if you do
something very your character it is very cool, I will
give you an inspiration die as well. I like to
reward sinking outside the box and any any cool moments.
(06:07):
So you guys all pack up and you begin making way.
It's it's a rather large group because it is both
the king and his entourage and the Prince in his
own and then just some extra guards on top of
that because obviously royal escorts making sure everything is in
ship shape. If you will, where do y'all kind of
(06:30):
travel with you kind of stick near the back you
amongst the other soldiers.
Speaker 1 (06:37):
With each other, hamlic will travel besides, Sir Hogan.
Speaker 3 (06:42):
Okay, I like that, sure, Hogan. It's kind of like
I might kind of sharing my road bear with him
since you didn't grab one, but like I'm not giving
him a lot. I'm making sure he doesn't drink it all.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (06:57):
What about all right? What about you, Larry? Is anybody
right on a horse specifically or just kind of walking
because you're like, you're not going to move fast to
the horse, but just save for self some energy.
Speaker 6 (07:07):
Yeah, I'll ride a horse, all right.
Speaker 2 (07:10):
Yeah, especially trying to get taken it easy after all
the pain from yesterday. Absolutely, just trying a horse. Are
you kind of with handlikom, Sir Hogan? Are you kind
of by yourself?
Speaker 6 (07:23):
I'm gonna be kind of by myself. I'm gonna let
them have their bro moment.
Speaker 2 (07:27):
That's that's beautiful. We love we love a bro letting
other bros have their bro moment. Yeah, all right, y'all
begin making travel kind of go for a few hours
because throughout the Day'm assuming there's nothing specific y'all want
to do throughout because you know it's a multi day
travel back to the to the town anything of note
(07:50):
you guys want to save for. We just get moving.
Speaker 1 (07:53):
Are we going through any towns.
Speaker 2 (07:59):
You No, Honestly, this is a kind of direct path
to this very secluded area to where you were meeting
with the bandits. There are offshoots to villages and maybe
some small towns, but nothing in particular.
Speaker 3 (08:16):
Do we know how much longer we had until we
make camp again for the night.
Speaker 2 (08:21):
I mean just yeah, I was gonna skip to night
time if y'all didn't have anything specific.
Speaker 3 (08:32):
I think that'll work.
Speaker 1 (08:34):
Hamlik would like to sing another sea shanty hand Let's
hear it? Okay? This one is by the Singing Hollies
the Singing Trees the band. The band is called Treed and.
Speaker 5 (08:54):
Can you take Me High?
Speaker 7 (08:58):
Can you take Me High?
Speaker 2 (09:04):
What a role performance for me? Please?
Speaker 3 (09:06):
And thank you?
Speaker 1 (09:07):
All right, let me find it performance? I got an eleven.
Speaker 2 (09:14):
Yeah, that's all right. You're still very hungover, so like
you're not quite hitting the performance you usually can. There's
some guys who kind of join in and out. We've
heard this before.
Speaker 3 (09:30):
That's Sir Hogan's favorite song. So since he kind of
just like did a mid performance of it, I'm still
like hanging around him, but I've stopped sharing my road
beer subtly.
Speaker 2 (09:45):
Oh okay, well, but no one is really in No
one is particularly upset by your performance, but it's just
kind of not impressive. They've seen you do better, and
out of it you get a little bit less beer.
So I guess that's a net negative. If you will,
you guys continue on your way and beginning to as
(10:07):
the first day comes and goes. You make nightfall and
while many people start to go to bed, there's a
rather large campfire that many will kind of go around.
There's some other smaller campfires. Do you guys go to
any of them? Sit down, talk with everybody else.
Speaker 3 (10:27):
I'm going, yeah, I'm kind of I go to a
one with like a lot of like soldiers, but they're
not really like the big dogs, you know, They're just
kind of like the foot soldiers. And I'm kind of
recanting my tails of yesterday, but you know, I'm I'm
definitely exaggerating it to where I did most of it
most of the work.
Speaker 2 (10:44):
Nice, all right, just make a make a persuasion check
for me, or hold on, let me look at the skills.
What would work best for this? I'm thinking, well, how
how much. Are you fibbing? Do you think this is
more of a or.
Speaker 3 (11:01):
You know, I think it's kind of like I'm standing up,
I'm flexing the muscles, you know, like, Okay, I've done
I did this back in the day.
Speaker 2 (11:11):
You know, Okay, this is a performance, go ahead, role
performance check for me in eighteen Uh. They are astounded
by what you are saying. Larry and Hamlick, are you
guys there?
Speaker 1 (11:26):
I want to jump in inside it. I've finished them.
Speaker 2 (11:28):
Off, Larry. I will also want to know you are
feeling You're feeling much better by now because you would
have been kind of given small heels throughout the day,
be it magic or some other remedies still there, but
you're feeling much better.
Speaker 6 (11:47):
And can I like kind of discount for Hogan's story
just a little bit, just make up like a little.
Speaker 2 (11:59):
Dumb okay, and in what way do you do that?
Speaker 6 (12:05):
So say he is like I took on the owl
bear all by myself. Someone will be like, hmm, how'd
you do that? Just trying to like ag him on
to see how far he'll go to be like his story,
how crazy it would get.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Okay, Okay, I want this to be contested, but let's
see how I want third, Hogan. I want you to
make a wisdom saving throw and no just a just
(12:45):
a wisdom check. I don't know if it's different for you,
but a wisdom check. Larry, you go ahead and make
an insight check, because you're just gonna kind of see
exactly what you can do to poke and prod at him.
Speaker 3 (12:53):
Okay, I think I have a buff on that us
bose do.
Speaker 2 (13:02):
M oh, I never mind, No, you did.
Speaker 6 (13:06):
That right, Larry, hold up my things loading.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
Uh, you're good, You're good.
Speaker 6 (13:12):
Okay, and then what do I need to roll?
Speaker 2 (13:15):
An insight check?
Speaker 6 (13:17):
Insight? Okay?
Speaker 2 (13:23):
All right, yeah, you you try. Sir Hogan has done
this manya times. I don't know if he's discussed his
background with you, but he is very used to upping
these stories and getting everyone to believe him over what
others will say. He will he'll get people to believe
(13:44):
what they saw was incorrect and what he says is true. Uh,
because he got himself a nap twenty perfect what he
could have got and a four just does not quite
cut it at all, unfortunately. Anything. Yeah, sorry to say that, Larry,
you kind of muted out. You'll probably plight your revenge
(14:06):
at some point to get back at him. You guys
have anything else of note.
Speaker 1 (14:14):
I want to convince everybody I did the most epic
that Hamlick created the most epic death scene of all time.
Speaker 3 (14:23):
And since Hamlick was my bro and he did hit
the final kill, can I like? But you set up
a little bit with my recanting.
Speaker 2 (14:31):
Okay, so I was gonna I was gonna give Hamdlick
a disadvantage on this performance check, but with your help
it becomes to a normal one. So go en rolls
to plane performance check for me.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
I got a nineteen A.
Speaker 2 (14:50):
Nineteen Yeah, he's able to. Specifically, with the help of
Sir Hogan kind of backing you up, you guys kind
of have a good hoorrah.
Speaker 5 (15:02):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (15:05):
People are pretty enthralled, and as you guys are kind
of talking, joking, laughing around, eventually you all notice a
very tall, armored man lumber his way over and you
recognize it as the King's bodyguard and if he's there,
that must mean And sure enough, the King himself comes
(15:27):
over to sit down with the rest of you outside
of his tent. This is late at night, probably eleven
o'clock at this point. Hello, just wish to uh sit
down with you all have a fine discussion. Uh, can
(15:48):
I have some ale?
Speaker 3 (15:52):
We got.
Speaker 2 (15:55):
The king has some ale? They definitely have some on
stockpile just for him. Uh so some of the lads
come and bring it out for him, but he's willing
to share if you'll want.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
Replaces a can, I like as a pat handing it
to can. I just kind of like try and swap
it out real.
Speaker 2 (16:13):
Quick, slight of hand, check against the king's perception, all.
Speaker 3 (16:19):
Right, I love.
Speaker 2 (16:25):
All right, and the King would have gotten a eleven?
Oh you tied? Okay, roll again? Okay, all right, okay,
you got eleven again. This time he would have gotten
a sorry, let's check my notes sixteen. So as he
kind of do it, he does kind of notice. He
(16:46):
looks at you, looks back, He kind of eyes for
you to swap it back.
Speaker 3 (16:54):
Okay, I swap it back, all right?
Speaker 2 (16:57):
What does he if you wink? But then he motions
for the guy to give you a cup of ale
as well.
Speaker 3 (17:04):
What I take the ale, but like I'm not drinking that.
So it's just kind of it's just kind of chilling there.
Speaker 2 (17:10):
Mm hmm.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
What is the king wearing.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Nothing? Too fancy. It is some studded leather armor, so
he's able to move doun and not be too uncomfortable.
You you are someone in the arcane arts, you can
tell there is definitely some sort of enchantment or some
other upon this armor to beef it up a little bit.
(17:39):
Is while it is studied. Is also very royal. You
can tell this is not your average leather armor. It
has it's bejeweled and fine. There are fine silks running
with it as well. But also from the times you
have ran with other royalty or lords, it's still less
(18:01):
flash much less flashy than what you have seen. He
is definitely there while trying to show off his prestige,
definitely ready to protect himself and fight if need be.
Because you guys are on the road in the middle
of nowhere.
Speaker 1 (18:17):
Can Hamlik try to persuade him to exchange shoes?
Speaker 2 (18:26):
H roll a persuasion check for me at disadvantage.
Speaker 1 (18:31):
I got an aid on disadvantage.
Speaker 2 (18:35):
He just chuckles, h hamlick motion. Just for someone to
bring you over and ale as well. He's kind of
gets in you guys, kind of discussed for a while.
He wants to know how you guys are doing everything's
fair and well for you all anything you wish to
tell him about. As time as this time goes on,
(18:57):
some of the lot of the soldiers end up going
to bed. By this time, it's just you guys, the
king and maybe five other soldiers around this fire and
his bodyguard. His bodyguard is awake at what you can
tell almost all times?
Speaker 1 (19:13):
Can I challenge the bodyguard to an arm wrestling match?
Speaker 2 (19:19):
I'm not even gonna have you roll. I'm just gonna
tell you that he declines.
Speaker 1 (19:24):
Okay, Well, after he declines, call.
Speaker 2 (19:27):
The guard and in fact, he doesn't answer you. He
doesn't say anything. He doesn't even look your way once
you ask.
Speaker 1 (19:37):
Okay, well, can I challenge the king to an arm
wrestling match after that declination?
Speaker 2 (19:45):
Yeah, okay you can. But I just want to say
what you know about Alekir, the King's bodyguard. He is
a very stoic man. He takes his job extremely seriously.
You know, he is very old and has been doing
this for many uh like generations of the king. He
is an elf and you you gander, he is hundreds
of years old and has protected dozens of kings. So
(20:11):
you why you do try to poke in prod with
him so often. I'm sure you do know he's very
unlikely to actually accept any offers. Go ahead and roll
persuasion for your for asking the King, I got a fourteen.
A fourteen will will be enough. He's he's feeling a
little tipsy, he's having some fun jove and jovial and everything.
(20:32):
You guys can go ahead and get set up around
a table. Uh, and go ahead and just roll a
straight straight strength check for me. Somebody else have anything
of note? And I try and let coach him on
how to do this, Hamdlik or can I try and
coach Hamilick on how to beat the King in an
arm rest of the match M and you can kind
(20:55):
of tell me you don't really give him any doesn't
really help too much, especially since Hamlick has already rolled.
Speaker 1 (21:02):
Yeah, I rolled. I mean if you let me reroll,
I can do it better. I promise I rolled a four.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
No, because because even if he did help, it would
have because your other role is a one, it would
not have helped you.
Speaker 3 (21:15):
King.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
He has a flat ten strength score, so it is
a five. Neither of y'all are very good at this.
You kind of go back and forth a little bit,
and after about twenty thirty seconds he does kind of
get the edge over on you and get your arm
down chuckles. He has he has a good time. He says,
(21:45):
he's probably not ready to head off to bed. You
guys have any questions for him, because he does offer
if you like, have any questions like the thing you
want to say or ask, hell, he is willing to answer. Listen.
Speaker 1 (22:03):
I just want to say good night, sweet King.
Speaker 2 (22:08):
Good night. Having a look Sir Hogan or Larry.
Speaker 3 (22:14):
After that horrible arms match I had to witness. Uh,
I kind of don't want to talk to him right now.
To the King, to the King, Yeah, I just kind
of like doing a little nod and kind of hope
he goes away.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Test Okay, Larry, where are we going? You guys are
going back to You guys are currently so you are
in the Kingdom of Stream but you guys are currently
in the Duchy of Morrington, so basically think of it
like a state within the nation, and you are currently
(22:52):
heading towards the capital of the same name, Morrington, which
is a rather large town, and this duchy is governed
by the King's son, the Prince. You guys are going
there and then you as far as you know, you're
going there and then are going to be heading back
to the actual capital of the kingdom afterwards.
Speaker 6 (23:10):
Okay, words, then I don't have anything to say.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Okay. Uh, you all head off to bed, get a
good night's rest, and you wake up the next the
following morning.
Speaker 6 (23:24):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (23:25):
And as you're getting ready, uh, each you do you guys,
You guys have a tent next to one another or
sleeping sleeping back next to one another. You guys kind
of separated.
Speaker 1 (23:37):
I take out my crumpled tent that night, and I
said it rip Hogan's Yeah, it.
Speaker 2 (23:43):
Is role of survival. Check a disadvantage for me.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
All right, survive.
Speaker 6 (23:49):
Yeah, I'll I'll be close to them, but I won't
be next to them. You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (23:57):
Okay, A nine, It is standing a probably good light
breeze might knock it over, but you are able to
crawl inside and go to sleep.
Speaker 1 (24:08):
That's all I.
Speaker 2 (24:11):
As you guys awake, Sir Hogan and Hamleck, a courier
comes up to a foot soldier comes up to you
all and says, the King is requesting an audience. Same
thing to you as well, Larry. He probably just goes
directly from then to you. Do you guys head directly
to the king? Do anything else first?
Speaker 1 (24:30):
I'm I'm I'm gonna stumble there.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
Yeah, all right, you all stumble your way. You go
inside the king's tent, which is much larger. Imagine like
a I don't know the actual term for it, but
imagine like in Skyrim there's those military tints where there's
like large enough for like a whole table in the middle.
It's it's sort of like that. There's nothing like battle
plans or anything, but he is. It's large enough for
(24:58):
people to enter and gus and hold meetings if need be.
Speaker 3 (25:06):
Is there a map on the table?
Speaker 2 (25:13):
Sure? Yeah, if you kind of look through, there is
a kind of regional map from like just basically for
the most part of this area, this region in Morrington.
It's not too large or too grandy, it's not even
too special. It's just very simple being used to make
sure you guys get back as fast as possible. And
(25:35):
as you all enter, you see the king, you see
the bodyguard, and there's two foot soldiers directly outside. As
you go in there you see this other older man
you have not seen all of you go and make
a perception check for me.
Speaker 1 (25:51):
Actually, I've got an eighteen.
Speaker 3 (25:56):
I got a fifteen.
Speaker 6 (26:00):
Thirteen.
Speaker 2 (26:04):
Okay, sorry, eighteen fifteen thirteen. Yeah, really, just hamlick. You
least have noticed this man. He didn't really stay up
at with you in the nights, but since you were
first met you first met with the king's entourage, you
may have noticed this man once or twice. Is kind
of among the rest. He definitely does not look a
(26:25):
soldier type, older, more sage ish baron, would you like
to describe belt resor to your to everybody else?
Speaker 3 (26:41):
Happily? Yes, What you.
Speaker 5 (26:43):
See before you is a elderly human man and medium
half plate armor, a shield on his back, and a
book in his hand, almost constantly reading, unless, of course,
the king is in the room, then the king has
his full oftion. He has silvery white hair, obvious wrinkles
(27:05):
around the eyes. Probably late late fifties, early sixties. Hard
to tell, but he is an older human, and of
course he is human, although there's some maybe trace of
some other ancestry at some point in his lineage, but
it's hard to place. It'd be like ninety percent human,
(27:28):
ninety five percent human, maybe less than five percent something else.
But as you all enter, he size you all up
and he has the kind of almost thousand yards stare
in his eyes, like he's both there but not really there.
But shall I greet them?
Speaker 2 (27:50):
Jimmy, you don't say anything as the intern list, I don't.
I assume you probably don't. You were just discussing with
the king what you were discussed?
Speaker 3 (28:00):
Sing?
Speaker 2 (28:01):
The rest of you will enter. You see this man,
you've maybe seen him before, not or not. You don't
know who this is or especially why he's in a
meeting with the king. The King looks over to you all. Ah,
good morning, my friends. I trust you all slept.
Speaker 1 (28:16):
Well, Yeah, sure did.
Speaker 2 (28:25):
That's good to hear. A bit of a change of plans.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (28:30):
This here is belch Resor. He's recently started to accompany us,
and he has he has visions of some sort, and
he informed us this morning of something going on in
a nearby village belt Resor. Would you like to explain?
Speaker 5 (28:52):
Yes, of course I saw something do with it in
a farm bandits poultry. Oh, and it's nice to meet
you all. The introductions, of course, have Nelick, Sir Hogan, Larry? Wait,
have we have we introduced you? You just introduced yourselves
to me. No, when that comes later. That comes later,
(29:12):
bel I'm sorry, but yes, there was an in farm
bandit's poultry. That's that's what I got. Uh And you
three are.
Speaker 3 (29:23):
You don't?
Speaker 7 (29:25):
Are you telling me there's chickens?
Speaker 5 (29:29):
Yes, some kind of poultry.
Speaker 2 (29:34):
H Do you all introduce yourselves to belt resor.
Speaker 1 (29:37):
Ham Nelik walks over to give him a hug and says,
I'm Hamnelick.
Speaker 5 (29:43):
Oh, nice to meet you, Lick.
Speaker 3 (29:46):
The Sir Hogan walks up to him. My little confe
used because he really does not know what he just said,
but I understand he wanted me to introduce myself. So
I give him a handshake and I try and make
it as firm as possible to kind of size them up.
I go, Sir Hogan, at your service, Oh this strong,
strong young man.
Speaker 5 (30:06):
Nice to meet you, Sir Hogan.
Speaker 2 (30:12):
Yes, was that Larry?
Speaker 6 (30:18):
And then Larry's just gonna like look at him, confused
and be like, I'm Larry, but.
Speaker 5 (30:27):
Nice to meet you, Larry.
Speaker 6 (30:28):
Did you see us?
Speaker 5 (30:29):
Or like, yeah, well you just introduced yourselves to me.
We just had this conversation. Just introduced yourselves and gave
me your names. And now things are in the correct
quanto logical order. Oh much better, much better anyway, now
that that's out of the way, Yes, there was a
(30:52):
vision in var Bandit's culture, Hamnelik. You seemed some was
there recognition in your eyes when I said something about poultry?
Speaker 7 (31:02):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (31:03):
Yes, I used to have a pet chicken.
Speaker 2 (31:12):
What Pamlick really likes chickens. The king has a big
old ground on his face. He's chuckling. He's spoken with
Beltrazar before and at least has heard some stories from
the short time you've been here. Yes, from what we
have got Adrink he told me that spoke with some
of my supervisors, and we believe has something to do
(31:35):
with the village of Forested nearby, about half a day's
ride from here, a little bit out of the way
of Morrington. That's why we're just gonna send you wall
to go check it. Check it out. They're just outside
of the mean village. There is a large farm and
they have a separate building that kind of works as
(31:56):
an end for travelers. So we're kind of assuming this
is something to do with it. Belt Rezor has been
known to see things hours days ahead of time, so
we are hoping if there is something to do with
Bandits to send you all and just make sure everything
is okay, head off any problems because they are a
(32:18):
major food supplier in Morrington as well. So we're gonna
stay here for about another hour or so before we
head off, and we're gonna have you guys go in
a different direction.
Speaker 3 (32:33):
And I asked the King how much we're getting paid
for this, because I kind of don't trust this old
man's dreams.
Speaker 2 (32:44):
Well, he again, you're mostly your pay is in your
average pay is more of like a stipend. Almost you
get you are said you are kind of you know
that at the end of your contract there is a
very large payout and there are other bonuses. But he
(33:06):
does tell you that there will be a monetary bonus
depending on the situation. If there's nothing there, he'll still
give you a small bonus. If there is some sort
of banda trouble, then he would will definitely give you
something larger as well, sir, hoping it in he will
be accompanying you all as he may have more visions.
(33:31):
I don't know. From my understanding, he is at least
somewhat capable in these situations. And as soon as you
all are able to get that sorted out. Please meet
us back in Morrington. You can probably pay for some
horses in the village. I'll give you enough gold for
(33:51):
that and hopefully meet us very soon. Does this sound
all right to you all?
Speaker 3 (33:58):
I can now, of course my gage, I'm in all right?
Speaker 2 (34:04):
Any questions before I send you all off?
Speaker 1 (34:08):
Can I get a rematch on that?
Speaker 7 (34:10):
Uh? Arm wrestle?
Speaker 3 (34:13):
Mm?
Speaker 2 (34:14):
Maybe in your dreams handlick. Let's just let's discuss the
once we meet in Morington at my castle, once we've
had time to recuperate.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
Okay, all right.
Speaker 2 (34:28):
Well I'm going to finish getting myself ready. You all
go ahead and gather your belongings and we will depart soon.
Speaker 5 (34:39):
All right, all right, so wonderful if I might ask
you all so I might better assist you on your journey.
What are your specialities? If combat does occur, I'd like
to know what I'm working with.
Speaker 1 (34:58):
I don't I don't know really. I can do stuff.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
Stuff is good.
Speaker 7 (35:08):
I know fireball, Oh, fireball?
Speaker 5 (35:12):
Oh, you don't have to teach me that spell.
Speaker 8 (35:14):
Sometime if I get time in my regiments, I kind
of flex my muscles and I go So who can
likes hitting things and drinking, sometimes at the same time.
Speaker 5 (35:28):
Oh, very strapping, very strapping. Yes, yes, your muscles must
serve you nicely, I imagine. Indeed, and you, Harry, what
is it that you specialize in?
Speaker 6 (35:48):
I'm pretty good with a bow in a mace.
Speaker 5 (35:53):
Oh I see, yes, is.
Speaker 6 (35:58):
My weapon of choice.
Speaker 5 (36:00):
So oh well, those bandits will not stand a chance
against us, I hope, so it'll be fine. I have
a trigger to up my sleeves as well.
Speaker 3 (36:14):
Anyway.
Speaker 5 (36:16):
See, oh, I think I might have a butterscotch candy
in here somewhere for one of Oh no, oh well
maybe some other times. Usually I keep them on me. Anyway,
shall we go, I'll follow you all's lead.
Speaker 1 (36:29):
You sound funny.
Speaker 5 (36:33):
Oh well, it's just my advanced age. And sometimes I
get in a little wobbly in the voice. It's hard
to uh well, you know, for old people.
Speaker 2 (36:49):
Okay, all right, you all go and gather your supplies.
You are given some extra rations and road beer. Don't
don't you worry, sir Hogan. You're giving plenty of road beer.
You have to make do with only a smaller amount,
because yes, you can only carry so much.
Speaker 3 (37:09):
Can I get a number of how many road beers
are in my backpack?
Speaker 2 (37:15):
How many? Will you tell me? How many do you
think you'd be able to carry? Because I'm assuming you
have some sort of like small cask or something.
Speaker 3 (37:22):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I've got a nice cask. And you
know I forgot I've got some quirks mm hmm.
Speaker 2 (37:28):
You know that there is an inn and presumably beer
at this location, so hopefully you can restock o.
Speaker 1 (37:36):
Ham Alick will also carry some road beer for myself
and for Sir Hogan.
Speaker 3 (37:44):
Can I dap up Hammelick when he hands me to
my beers? Like one hand I grabbed the beer the
other hand, I just give him a nice stap up.
Speaker 2 (37:54):
Yes, yes you can? All right? And you all any other?
Anything else to say for you? Mick way, okay, all right,
so you all meet up with your What was.
Speaker 1 (38:07):
That I was gonna say? Can I high five the
old guy?
Speaker 3 (38:13):
By?
Speaker 2 (38:13):
Are you asking me?
Speaker 1 (38:15):
Can I high five you?
Speaker 6 (38:18):
Oh?
Speaker 5 (38:18):
Of course, youngster.
Speaker 1 (38:22):
Can I like go in for like a jumping high
five towards them without telling them? Giving him a jumping
high five?
Speaker 2 (38:29):
You both have negative one strength?
Speaker 3 (38:31):
Right?
Speaker 2 (38:32):
That's hilarious. It is the weakest high five, Sir Hogan.
You have maybe ever seen in your life. Hold on, Okay,
belt resort has good dexterity. What about you handle like dexterity? Yeah,
you're it's both all right? Yeah you guys, you guys
meet you don't miss. It's very quiet, like just a
(38:53):
little the quiet, quietest little high five you've ever seen.
Speaker 5 (39:00):
Oh, very good, very good.
Speaker 2 (39:04):
You all gather with your new kooky friend and begin
making your way. Too farstead is anything we want to
know of the travels that twenty take you all about
four to six hours to get there.
Speaker 5 (39:20):
So if wouldn't we see the bandits because they're almost
will certainly be bandits. Are you all a more talky
talkie things out kind of group or do we jump
straight to murder?
Speaker 6 (39:32):
Yes, they jump They jumped straight to.
Speaker 5 (39:38):
Murder of course, of course, yes, yes, yeah, sixty forty
Very good, very good. I'll follow your beta force continue on.
Speaker 1 (39:49):
I like this weird guy.
Speaker 2 (39:54):
You all make your way. We'll just go ahead and
kind of time jump your way on over. You reach
the town of far Instead. You don't know exactly where
this farm is. You would know it is on the
outside of town somewhere. You can either just try to
find it yourself, or you can go ask locals if
you wish.
Speaker 6 (40:13):
Okay, I would like to ask locals.
Speaker 2 (40:17):
Okay, worry about to say hendlick.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
I was going to say, is there? Is it just
people's houses around or is it? Is there a shopping areas?
There a anything of like some.
Speaker 2 (40:32):
There's some market stalls. It's a rather small village. Do
you don't even see an inn? Because that's like as
you kind of heard, there's an inn at this farm.
There's houses, there's not much. It's kind of just an
area centralized by a few farms or people gather. There's
like basic small market shops, but nothing much of note.
Speaker 1 (40:54):
Is there are okay, are there any chickens running around?
Speaker 2 (41:00):
Hold on, let me roll. No, you don't see any chickens?
Speaker 1 (41:08):
Think it you see?
Speaker 2 (41:11):
Sorry, I got a seventeen. I rolled at one hundred,
basically just above a thirty. Then yes, there are some
birds flying over, but no no chickens per se.
Speaker 1 (41:28):
Okay, So there what kind of okay? I know this
is going to get long. What markets are there?
Speaker 3 (41:36):
Well?
Speaker 1 (41:36):
What do they have?
Speaker 2 (41:38):
Mostly just food vegetables. There's some fruits. There's a few
meats from like hunters. Maybe if you search hard and
if you can find some leather working nothing really much
of note. If you really want to check it out,
you can. We'll probably kind of skip through it real quick.
Speaker 1 (41:55):
But okay, much, Okay?
Speaker 2 (41:57):
Well, can I.
Speaker 1 (42:00):
Go ahead?
Speaker 3 (42:00):
Can I ask where the farm is at the meat stall?
Speaker 2 (42:04):
Yeah, for sure. You you vaguely describe the farm. They
know what you're talking about. They point you in the
right direction, and they tell you it's about probably about
an hour's walk out of town. Okay, you guys, do
anything else, or you want to go ahead and make
way towards the farm.
Speaker 1 (42:23):
Just head towards the farm. That's all I care about.
Speaker 2 (42:27):
Right, you begin making your way. It's about mid afternoon.
The sun is still in the sky. Stuff a few
hours still begins to set. As you approach, you see
this is a rather large farm. There's lots of farmland.
H you see a you see a few barns, but
you see one rather large barn. You see a kind
(42:48):
of it's a smaller house, but it's definitely large for
a typical farmhouse. It's two story. There's not much of note,
but you do notice there is a larger three story
building kind of situated a little bit away. From the
(43:08):
actual farming area, and it looks likely. You can see
there are people outside, there's some horses hitched, and you
see there are lights. Even during the daytime, well you
probably don't see the lights at day time, but even
during the daytime, you can tell that there's many a travelers.
You go through here, you've passed travelers on your way
up here. Where do you go to first?
Speaker 1 (43:35):
Ken? Okay, what is in my direct line of sight?
Speaker 2 (43:43):
I mean it really depends on what time. Like you
see this from afar, you are able to see these
for about five to ten minutes before you even you arrive.
The inn is definitely closer, but you do see the
barn and farmhouse not too far off from there, like
a three minute walk from there.
Speaker 1 (44:02):
Okay, I want to go to the barn and I
want to go to the farm.
Speaker 3 (44:07):
Okay, Sir Hogan is gonna walk towards the tavern so
he can one kind of check it out because since
there was talking bandits kind of like eye some people.
And also he needs to fill up his empty road beers.
Speaker 2 (44:24):
Okay, Larry Meltrazor.
Speaker 5 (44:29):
Belt Rezor will follow Hemnelick to the farm house. That's
where you were going. Right, hepnlick, Yes, yeah, yeah, okay,
I'll follow.
Speaker 6 (44:40):
Hemnlik and Larry will follow Sir Hogan.
Speaker 2 (44:46):
All right, so you guys kind of split off. We'll
start with Sir Hogan Larry, since you all will reach
the end first.
Speaker 3 (44:52):
You go in.
Speaker 2 (44:53):
It's somewhat lively. You can tell that's meant for lots
of travelers, and you assume he kind of has an
influx during the nighttime. You can probably go ahead and
get your refill of beer. I'm not going to make
you have to pay attention to the money, because you
have been provided enough money to hear your refills. Do
you speak with anyone in particular?
Speaker 3 (45:15):
Can I ask the bartender if you've seen any bandit
looking people around? That's how I say it.
Speaker 2 (45:22):
Okay, yeah, you approach, You begin to strike up a
conversation with bartender. You understand that he is one of
the family members who owns the entire farm. He is
the nephew of the primary owner. He tells you he's
from what you know, he's mostly in charge of the end.
(45:42):
It's a rather large family that lives here. He tells
you that, yes, they've had bandit troubles in the past.
Off and on not too much lately, and he knows
that there were some guys who came a few days
ago that spoke with his uncle, but he doesn't really
know what about.
Speaker 6 (46:01):
Is there, Like what's going on in the tavern? Like
is there just people drinking?
Speaker 2 (46:07):
Yeah, there's people drinking there playing cards. Yeah, if you
you suspect there's a lot more people because it's amount
of horses outside, but you kind of presume that they're
just up in the actual inn at this moment, and
it's not too lively and the tavern floor yet, but
you assume it will because there's even a stage and everything.
Speaker 6 (46:32):
Hey, can I play cards?
Speaker 2 (46:34):
Absolutely? Do you try to? Do you play for money
or do you play for fun?
Speaker 6 (46:45):
We'll play for fun.
Speaker 2 (46:47):
Okay, well, let's do some quick game. Let's do a
quick little thing to kind of see how you fare.
Roll two D eight for me. Go over to the
left side of the screen. We'll see the dice. Go
over to the one that says D eight and click
on the two next it.
Speaker 6 (47:02):
Okay, I got a six, all right.
Speaker 2 (47:05):
Now, I rolled a seven. So I'm just gonna you.
You win some games. It's it's kind of even handed.
You lose slightly more than you win, but you you
have a general good time playing. You kind of speak
with him. Probably you probably only play for ten to
fifteen minutes. I presume do you speak with anyone else
at all?
Speaker 6 (47:25):
Can I ask the people I'm playing with about bandit?
Speaker 2 (47:32):
Um? Yeah, go ahead and roll a roll a charisma
check for me, because you're not trying to persuade them,
You're just trying to strike up general conversation with them.
Speaker 6 (47:44):
All right, let me find coriz Okay, Oh, okay, I
got a.
Speaker 2 (47:52):
Twenty three, a natural twenty for twenty three. Specifically, Yeah,
that you have a wonderful conversation. There's people come in
and out, and just in just a few minutes, it's
mostly a group of four other people. One leaves, another
one comes. In the middle of conversation. You ask them
and they tell you that they've dealt with bandits along
(48:14):
the Road of plenty, especially in this area. There's a
guy who's been there for a few days and he
knows that there were some bandit looking types who came
out about two three days ago. He doesn't really know
what's going on, something about something being stolen, arguing, but
(48:36):
the owner didn't necessarily chase them off. But he threatened
them off of the property. That's all. They all the
information they're really able to really give you of substance.
Speaker 6 (48:54):
Okay, I say bye and then I go hang out
with sir.
Speaker 2 (49:01):
All right, they say farewell. Anything else of note you
two want to talk about or do?
Speaker 6 (49:08):
No?
Speaker 2 (49:11):
All right, Belcher's or and hamlck. You all continue making
your way as they head towards the end. You go
to the actual farm area, Like I said, just a
few minute more walk do you where do you go?
You kind of get there. There is the farmhouse front
and center, and behind their ways is like the the
(49:31):
the ranch and the barns. Do you see animals outside?
You see chickens and horses, pigs and cheep. It's it's
a classic old McDonald farm right here.
Speaker 1 (49:41):
Do we see any people around there?
Speaker 2 (49:45):
Yeah, you see plenty of farm hands. You don't notice
anyone in particular. Actually, that's a lie. You see an
older man sitting out on the porch and in his
rock and chair, has a little bit of uh of
wheat and his lip is kind of sitting back, rocking
and enjoying the day. Probably probably at least eighties. He
(50:09):
is an older fella.
Speaker 1 (50:11):
I want to go ask him some questions.
Speaker 3 (50:14):
All right? Uh?
Speaker 2 (50:17):
Hello, what what can I do for you?
Speaker 3 (50:21):
Uh?
Speaker 7 (50:22):
You got any animals for sale?
Speaker 2 (50:28):
I'm sure i'd be more of a question for for
my son. I don't really know where he's off to
right now? What what are you looking for?
Speaker 1 (50:40):
A chicken preferably.
Speaker 2 (50:43):
Uh interest me to many people buying chickens. I'm sure
if you have enough gold, it might be right. We
got plenty, so I'm sure we won't mind partnering with
one or two. He gives you a vague description of
what his son looks like. It's not very helpful. A
(51:05):
man in his You kind of get a man in
his fifties, stocky build in a classic farmer's gear. You'll
have to do some more questions. He tries to help you,
but not you don't glive too much information from him.
Speaker 1 (51:20):
Okay, one more question. What is your son's name?
Speaker 2 (51:26):
It will Helm?
Speaker 1 (51:27):
Okay. So now I want to turn around. Literally, all
I'm doing is turning a one eighty okay, and I
want to yell as loud as I can will Helm.
Speaker 2 (51:38):
Okay, Willhelm. The old man kind of staggers back a
little bit. Kind of this is unexpected. You look, you
don't notice anything. There's definite lots of people who's got
to stop and look over at you. They pause for
a few seconds, but you don't notice anyone respond as
like as in heading towards your way.
Speaker 5 (52:01):
That was a very distinct will help scream.
Speaker 7 (52:05):
Uh thank you?
Speaker 1 (52:07):
Uh now uh ham to just I want to start
sprinting towards the barn.
Speaker 5 (52:17):
Oh but here we go.
Speaker 3 (52:18):
All right.
Speaker 2 (52:19):
You you kind of hop the fence and you start sprinting.
Lots of people then stop and start heading towards a
lot of them. Arms of whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa?
What are you doing? This is probably about four or
five people start heading their way towards you. Okay, well
do you try to run past them or do you
stop for them?
Speaker 1 (52:36):
I want to stop completely like from my sprint. I
want to stop like halt, and I want to yell
will Helm again even louder.
Speaker 2 (52:48):
All right, uh you do that again and they again
to scream no one really approaches, but they're well no one,
no man by that description approaches from you can see
people kind of approach you trying to see it, phara,
what's going on? But you do see this woman, probably
(53:09):
in her thirties, approaching you. She looks like she's been
working the farm all her life. Can I help you?
Speaker 6 (53:17):
You?
Speaker 3 (53:18):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (53:19):
Looking for my uncle? Uh?
Speaker 7 (53:21):
Two questions.
Speaker 1 (53:23):
I'm looking for Wilhelm and I would like to talk
to him about a purchase of a chicken?
Speaker 7 (53:28):
And two?
Speaker 1 (53:29):
What is your courrier pigeon? I d I would like
to get in touch with you later.
Speaker 2 (53:37):
Looks Bill Woodard. She looks over it. Belcher's are I'm summing?
Are you belchers? Or did you run with or you're
just gonna walk with.
Speaker 3 (53:45):
Belchers?
Speaker 5 (53:45):
Or ran as fast as he could, which isn't very fast.
He's he's ketching up.
Speaker 2 (53:50):
We did he try to hop the fence or did
he run around through the gate?
Speaker 5 (53:54):
Oh, if the gate was like right next to where
he hopped the fence, would just take five steps to
the right, open the gate and walk through it.
Speaker 2 (54:05):
Yeah, we'll say that. We'll say that's what happened, and
you run up your huff and a puffin. But at
this point you do catch up. She looks over kind
of bewildered. I don't know what this currier pigeon you're
talking about is, But my daddy is out at the
moment he should be back, not daddy, Sorry my bad.
(54:26):
My uncle is out at the moment. He should be
back later this evening. You're ready to purchase a chicken,
and I can probably help you with that. You just
want any any old chicken, all right.
Speaker 1 (54:40):
You sweet farm lady. Do you have any special chicken?
Speaker 2 (54:45):
No? No, no, do not. You're not going to talk
to me that way, okay, she she shoots daggers at
you with their eyes.
Speaker 1 (54:57):
I apologize.
Speaker 7 (54:59):
Do you do you have any special chickens?
Speaker 2 (55:04):
The special? How I mean? You mean like larger? We
have all sorts of chickens, hens, roosters. You wantn't a
chick to take with you?
Speaker 1 (55:14):
Do you have any that come to mind? When I
say special chicken?
Speaker 2 (55:22):
I mean there's Gertrude, the crazy ass chicken down over there,
and he kind of lookd over. You've ever seen ma
wanna it's like, hey, hey for Malwana. If you don't know,
it is a that's one. Isn't a scrawny chicken per se.
But this chicken is just kind of beating. It's like
(55:42):
it's trying to peck at the wood of like any
kind of shed in nearby. It doesn't look all there,
that's what you're meaning.
Speaker 5 (55:53):
I think that chicken is trying to carve a shame
out of the wood of its enclosure.
Speaker 2 (56:00):
That's the one she does that. I sure how much
you wanted to pay for?
Speaker 1 (56:07):
What's the lowest you'll go? I want to bargain with
your uncle. Perhaps if there's another chicken.
Speaker 2 (56:17):
We can probably part with grutrude, let's say twenty gold.
You could you do to make a make a wisdom
check for me? Okay Felcher's or you as well. Just
get insights, just just wisdom.
Speaker 1 (56:34):
I got eighteen.
Speaker 2 (56:40):
Oh uh okay.
Speaker 5 (56:43):
Oh it's automatically applying eight total.
Speaker 2 (56:47):
Yeah, oh okay, and let me turn that blessed off
for you.
Speaker 5 (56:50):
I got Sorry, I didn't realize it was already on.
Speaker 3 (56:53):
I got.
Speaker 2 (56:54):
I did that. You don't know much per se h
belt resorm like you feel like that's an upt price.
Chickens probably go for about five Typically they're not that expensive.
Speaker 1 (57:11):
Okay. What I want to say is I know that
one is less than your others because of that shank
its building. I will give you still double an asking price,
and I'll give you ten gold.
Speaker 2 (57:26):
Sure, sure we can do that. What do you do
you have a cage for it? Or what do you
how do you plan to take it?
Speaker 3 (57:38):
Uh?
Speaker 7 (57:38):
Do you have any potato sacks?
Speaker 2 (57:44):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (57:45):
Uh?
Speaker 2 (57:46):
Yes, yes, we we have a potato sack.
Speaker 1 (57:50):
Okay, I just see if okay, I want to hold on?
Can I say, have one that's already been used, that's
not to be used anymore?
Speaker 2 (58:04):
Oh? Sure, just just take it. They have a lot
of potato sacks. Sure ses they will, They will give
you one.
Speaker 1 (58:12):
Okay, I want to take one and use some of
my rope to fashion a backpack and cut the thing
just enough to where it will hold the chicken and
it won't be able to fly out unless I take
it out.
Speaker 2 (58:26):
All right? Yep, sure enough, you got that. You pay
for the chicken. Are you gonna go get the chicken now?
Or are you gonna try to get it later? Because
you know you're gonna be at this farm probably for
at least a little bit longer.
Speaker 3 (58:38):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (58:39):
Is it okay? Hold on first? Is it stuck in
like a little small enclosure where I can get it later?
Or is it like rumming?
Speaker 2 (58:46):
For it's kind of rumming right now. This is a
larger and fenced area.
Speaker 3 (58:52):
Uh.
Speaker 2 (58:52):
They do have a coop that is more enclosed. But
she is kind of out and about right now, so
if she gets away you, she might be a run in.
Speaker 1 (59:01):
Okay, well, I'm going to Fortunately for Hamlick, he is
familiar with animals, so he has some little chicken feed
and that he found in the potato sack. He knows
that they usually have it in there. So what he's
going to just.
Speaker 2 (59:18):
Say that Hamlck is weird enough. He just carries chicken
feed on him.
Speaker 1 (59:21):
Perfect, So I want to hold it out and walk
towards it. And since it's crazy, I figure it'll go
to it. Since it doesn't necessarily need to know the
people that it's feeding.
Speaker 2 (59:31):
It, all right, you can go and rule an animal
handling check for me at advantage because of your history
with chickens. Sixteen okay, yeah, sixteen will do it. She's
kind of heads to it, but she kind of goes over,
Oh there, oh, there's food in here, and she kind
of misses the bag at first, like you're even bell wildered.
(59:52):
Like she sees it. She starts going towards it and
just runs past, then stops and it's kind of confused,
looks back, maybe pecks at the bag itself before eventually
kind of going in and going to get the food.
I take it. You just kind of tip that thing closed.
Speaker 1 (01:00:09):
Well, I want it. I want it to feel like
it's not being captured. So I'm going to like brush
it in since i'm it, since it's being fed. I'll
I guess based off chickens, they'll just follow you if
you move your hand and push them a little bit.
So it walks slowly into the bag and I let
its head get out, and I slowly tighten the bag
just enough to where it can't jump out.
Speaker 2 (01:00:33):
Yeah. Yeah, this this uh potato sack. With just this
chicken's head poking out, you'd expect it to start fighting.
It kind of just relaxes in there.
Speaker 1 (01:00:46):
Yes, and I and then I want to look back
at the lady. I want to go back to walk
tour and uh ask how I can get in touch
with them for when their uncle returns.
Speaker 2 (01:00:58):
Okay, Belchium, Before we get to that, Belchers, or did
you go over with handlelike or did you stay with her?
Speaker 8 (01:01:05):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (01:01:07):
Belchers had a pretty good idea that Hamnlik could handle
his chickens. Belcher probably would have stayed with her. I
might have asked her about the reason to any recent
bandit troubles and made general small talk. What's your kiddie
roller chrisma? Check for me to see how friendly of
a conversation it is. What's your thing?
Speaker 2 (01:01:30):
Well, eighteen eighteen, Well that's a Christmas save, so just sixteen? Yeah,
sixteen is fine. Now, you guys have a fine conversation.
She you can tell she's a little ny because she
having to step away from work, but especially once you
mentioned bandit. She tells you that they've had their issues
(01:01:50):
on and off, like ever since she was a little
girl on this farm, there's always been some sort of
bandit issues, but usually her uncle have like has figured
some sort of diplomacy with them, but off and on
things have gotten aggressive. They've had to learn how to
hold their own nothing too much in particular lately. She
knows that again, what others have Florence is that there
(01:02:11):
a few came by a few days ago and spoke
with their uncle, got kind of a heated conversation, and
they left. Uncle's none too pleased and about his whereabouts.
He just left sometime this early morning. No one really knows.
He went kind of by himself and two other farm hands.
(01:02:32):
Oh but he just said he'll be back later this evening.
Speaker 5 (01:02:36):
I have a bad feeling about that. All right, well,
thank you for your time. I apologize for my friend
he's as he's corralling the chicken into the bag. He's special,
we love him. It's but see he's he's a bit
of a handful. Apologies for the Wilhelm screams. Anyway, have
(01:02:56):
a good day, handt'l go and back to having life.
Speaker 2 (01:03:03):
Yeah, all right, finished that conversation. She's relieved to get
back to work. You go over to Hamlick, you kind
of exchange information. Do you guys say I want to
talk about anything in particular? Do you guys start heading
back to the end.
Speaker 5 (01:03:17):
We should tell the others what we learned. This uncle
of hers sounds like he and perhaps a couple of
farmhands might have tried to take the bandits on by themselves.
That would not have ended.
Speaker 1 (01:03:27):
Well, I got a chicken.
Speaker 5 (01:03:31):
Yes you do, Handlinck, and you did so good. Anyway,
let's go show Sir Hoku and the chicken you caught.
I'm sure he'll be a static.
Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
I like that idea.
Speaker 2 (01:03:45):
All right, he has begin making your way back to
the end. Larry, you probably just finished your game of
cards a few minutes before this, you go over to
Hope and kind of discuss and do you get Do
you drink as well?
Speaker 6 (01:03:58):
Yeah, I'll drink.
Speaker 2 (01:04:00):
Okay. After a few minutes, Handlick and Belchers are come in.
Belchers are still looks a little winded, and you'd see
Hamlick has some sort of hack sack and as you
kind of look, you kind of notice, is that a
chicken's head sticking out?
Speaker 3 (01:04:18):
You know?
Speaker 2 (01:04:20):
Okay, it's Handlick. What's you kind of wonder what in
the world just happened? Hamlick and Belchers are assume you
all approach Sir Hogan and Larry at the bar.
Speaker 1 (01:04:33):
I want to I want to sprint towards them and
show them my chicken.
Speaker 2 (01:04:39):
Okay, you do so, look at my chicken.
Speaker 5 (01:04:48):
Ham Melt caught a chicken, and I caught some information
about the goings on of this place. Sorry, haml look,
caught a chicken and I caught some information about the
goings on of this place.
Speaker 3 (01:05:03):
Can I ignore sir the old man and just like
talk to hamle like about a chicken?
Speaker 2 (01:05:11):
Yeah, things like that. You don't need to ask me.
You can just say that's what you do.
Speaker 3 (01:05:15):
Oh awesome. I completely ignore the old man, and I
just like, I keep eyeing that chicken. I'm like talking
to him about it.
Speaker 2 (01:05:24):
Larry, do you listen to belt resor yes.
Speaker 6 (01:05:29):
I will listen to the old man.
Speaker 5 (01:05:33):
Thank you, Larry. The one person who respects their elders.
A single tear drops some Belcher's eye.
Speaker 1 (01:05:38):
I want to I want to look at the old man,
very angry and be like, I respect you, but I've
got a chicken.
Speaker 5 (01:05:47):
You know that's that's a pretty good point. I'll accept that.
Thank you, thank you, handling that actually makes me feel better.
Speaker 1 (01:05:54):
Now shut up, I've got a chicken.
Speaker 5 (01:05:57):
Okay, there it is.
Speaker 2 (01:06:00):
Anyway you all exchange information? Oh sorry, you can where
you're gonna say.
Speaker 5 (01:06:04):
Never mind, Yeah, we exchange I was just gonna exchange information.
Speaker 3 (01:06:08):
Mm hm.
Speaker 2 (01:06:09):
You guys kind of learned the same things, maybe a
little bit more from one little bit less to the other.
You guys kind of know that he's planning to come
back tonight. You really know what was that something that
was stolen? Maybe what's y'all's plan? You know you can
probably pay for once. Once they learn you're part of
(01:06:29):
the King's entourage, you get like a very good discount
on rooms. If you wish to stay the night or plan.
Speaker 5 (01:06:37):
To, well, we have a couple of options. If they
left to confront the bandits, we might be able to
ambush the bandits come nightfall, or we could assume perhaps
they were successful and they'll come back. In that case,
we should stay here and sleep up. Oh what do
you all think?
Speaker 3 (01:07:00):
Is the tavern area open like all night or will
that like close down at some point?
Speaker 2 (01:07:06):
This is a lively enough and it's a very popular
travel like travel stop, so they are typically open all night.
You don't really know if it's the same like family family,
he's running the entire time, but you know it at
least remain open.
Speaker 1 (01:07:23):
Okay, Well, are we in the tavern right now?
Speaker 3 (01:07:28):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (01:07:28):
Okay, so can I I want to do a check
of everybody and see if they have like a a
necklace of some sort or an amulet type thing.
Speaker 2 (01:07:40):
Okay, uh huh.
Speaker 1 (01:07:43):
And I just want to I want to like look
through the bar and like walk amongst everyone and just
like you know, zig zag through the tables and try
to check out people's necks.
Speaker 2 (01:07:56):
Roll perception check for me. I'll see it with advantage
because you're just kind of taking your time looking through.
Speaker 1 (01:08:02):
All right, I got a fourteen.
Speaker 2 (01:08:05):
Fourteen I've bad you look and you see you see
necklaces and amulets, nothing too special. You can probably stop
and ask about them. Some say it's an heirloom, some
say they bought it. What kind of what are you
looking for? In particular?
Speaker 1 (01:08:21):
Just some sort of amulet that I could what do
you call it?
Speaker 3 (01:08:26):
Uh?
Speaker 1 (01:08:27):
Put some put a spell in?
Speaker 2 (01:08:30):
Uh huh see, I I know what you're looking for, Blake.
You do not notice the notice anything of that variety
that you're trying to look like with your arcade knowledge.
You don't notice anything that looks like it could withhold
magic or not withhold but hold magic.
Speaker 1 (01:08:48):
Okay, well okay, And then one more thing. Are there
any females in the tavern?
Speaker 2 (01:08:56):
I'm sure there's a few.
Speaker 1 (01:08:58):
Okay, I want to find the one that looks it's
like they have the lowest standards.
Speaker 2 (01:09:04):
Oh my god, kah, all right, Uh roll an insight
check for me.
Speaker 1 (01:09:13):
All right, I got eleven and eleven.
Speaker 2 (01:09:19):
You know someone who's kind of by themselves, she's kind
of at the bar. You can you assume she's just
a traveler. Maybe doesn't seem to have much with her.
She is uh, I kind of glim she's uh seems
to be uh sorry, uh half elven. She's pretty uh
(01:09:46):
not much of no, just kind of general traveling gear.
She looks tired, weary.
Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
Okay, I want to order two Uh? I want to
order two beers and give her one.
Speaker 2 (01:10:05):
All right, yeah you do? So do you do? Do
you go over to her? Do you kind of order
from afar?
Speaker 1 (01:10:10):
I want to sit down at a table and get
the bartender to tell her that it was for me,
and then I want to wave at her.
Speaker 2 (01:10:19):
Okay, you know, you kind of you look over and
you see it's not audible, but you hear him talk
to her. She kind of cocks her head and kind
of looks around and sees you. You kind of get
a wave. She doesn't necessarily smile, but she acknowledges and
kind of just kind of slowy turns back towards the bar,
(01:10:41):
maybe a slight grin. You can't quite tell.
Speaker 1 (01:10:45):
Okay, while I'm doing that, can I walk over to
Sir Hogan and tell him I need a wingman?
Speaker 8 (01:10:56):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (01:10:58):
I kind of tap up Hamelick and Mike, I got
you're back, mother.
Speaker 2 (01:11:06):
All right, how do you how does how does Hogan
wing man this situation?
Speaker 3 (01:11:10):
And I walk up to the eleven woman and tell
her about this awesome story of Hamelick defeating an owl
bear signal handedly?
Speaker 2 (01:11:23):
Yeah, go and roll a performance check for me.
Speaker 5 (01:11:26):
All right, all right, so Larry, you have to deal
with this bullshit all the time, right.
Speaker 4 (01:11:31):
This.
Speaker 6 (01:11:34):
Is very normal? Yeah, yeah, this is actually tame. Wow,
not even gonna lie, so you're I'm sure it'll spiral.
Speaker 2 (01:11:44):
Okay, all right, uh a fifteen performance. She's into this story.
Kind of cool an owl bear. She's seen one from Afar,
but she's never had to cut cross paths with one.
How Okay, here is a question for you, uh, sir Hogan,
(01:12:06):
and be honest with me. Do you really give good
props to handle it? Or think you may actually up
yourself a little too much.
Speaker 3 (01:12:16):
I definitely emphasized that he got the final blow. He
might have had a little a little help, you know,
I might have maybe held it down a little bit,
but his awesome flip into the bear was definitely that
was mean. That was definitely mentioned.
Speaker 2 (01:12:30):
Okay. Yeah, she's very she is very impressed by the story.
Speaker 6 (01:12:34):
And Larry do what he did earlier and try and
make like, try and ag him on, Sir Hogan on.
Speaker 2 (01:12:48):
Oh, like discredit his story?
Speaker 6 (01:12:50):
Yeah a little bit?
Speaker 2 (01:12:51):
Okay, how do you do so? Do you just go up,
approach and start talking or do you laugh? Snicker chuckle from.
Speaker 6 (01:12:57):
Afar, laugh from Afar. And then I'll come up and
be like, that's a crazy story. Can I ask you
some like what happened here?
Speaker 3 (01:13:09):
Oh?
Speaker 6 (01:13:09):
Okay?
Speaker 2 (01:13:11):
Yeah, go ahead and ask uh.
Speaker 3 (01:13:15):
Hmm.
Speaker 2 (01:13:17):
You go ahead and roll a general charisma check for me,
and then start Hogan about to have you Oh eight,
what is that? I got a two twenty two, Sir Hogan?
Say so, Larry comes over and starts asking you some
general questions. You weren't prepared for this, at least in
(01:13:38):
this situation. Go ahead, and how do you approach it?
Do you start being a little bit more honest? Do
you keep trying to flow things up?
Speaker 3 (01:13:48):
I kind of no, I go against Larry. I go
of course you don't know what happened? You got one taped?
All right?
Speaker 2 (01:13:58):
Go ahead? And why you do use that? While that
is kind of a technical truth to it, there's you
still kind of upping Hamlet's part. While we all know
Larry did the vast majority of the work in that fight.
Go ahead and roll a deception check for me. Oh okay, honestly,
since Larry rolled above a twenty, I want to say
(01:14:21):
a disadvantage.
Speaker 9 (01:14:24):
Okay, No, Larry starts asking very specific questions and you
kind of trip up your words to tiny bit.
Speaker 2 (01:14:35):
But then Larry starts pointing out things that kind of
conflict with what you said before.
Speaker 6 (01:14:42):
Oh and this is all directed at sir Hogan. It's
in no way discrediting his story about Hamlet.
Speaker 10 (01:14:49):
Oh okay, okay, okay, okay, so muscles in response, Sure,
do so kind of like change the subject.
Speaker 2 (01:15:02):
It's a very a very sad flex but you do.
Speaker 6 (01:15:04):
So.
Speaker 2 (01:15:05):
Oh sorry, I forgot to move your tokens.
Speaker 3 (01:15:11):
Oh what into the wood portal?
Speaker 2 (01:15:19):
There we go. So yeah, you kind of you say this,
Sir Hogan's part is vastly discredited. She is a little
skeptical now on what was true because so much of
it was fabricated. You kind of get that general that
(01:15:42):
that that gist.
Speaker 1 (01:15:46):
Can I walk on and while they're while they're like
bicker and going back and forth at each other, can
I go over there and start talking to her on
the other side of her.
Speaker 5 (01:15:54):
Yeah, absolutely, well sure will have gotten a little bit
into this, not enough to help too much, but just
we'll go. Just pat Ham nelick on the shoulder, and
as he's walking on, I say good luck and he
will cast guidance on handlick.
Speaker 2 (01:16:10):
Beautiful. All right, So that gives you? Is that just
a plus defour?
Speaker 5 (01:16:14):
That's a D four on the next ability check?
Speaker 2 (01:16:16):
Okay, yeah, what do you what do you kind of
attempting to do now, handlick.
Speaker 1 (01:16:22):
I'm trying to add a little bit of I'm guessing
I could hear Sir Hogan's story from where I was,
so I I do tell her that, like my side
of the story, and I just only tell her that
(01:16:43):
the part that I did good. I don't discredit anybody else.
I just tell my side.
Speaker 2 (01:16:50):
Okay, So that's no deception. You're not performing. You are,
I guess technically persuading. So this is very much I
try to attract her. I presume a RIZ. Yeah, it's
a can you give you a RIZ check? Yeah, go
ahead and roll persuasion and add a D four onto
(01:17:13):
it as well.
Speaker 1 (01:17:13):
Okay, well, I got a thirteen.
Speaker 2 (01:17:18):
Go to the left side to that little dice that
works fourteen.
Speaker 1 (01:17:22):
Yeah, I got a fourteen.
Speaker 2 (01:17:23):
That's eight. That's good. She's impressed. You guys kind of
shrake up a conversation. Do you guys just start talking? Do
you push anything or you just kind of have a
pleasant conversation.
Speaker 1 (01:17:34):
I want to talk to for about how long are
we in it? What time is it tonight?
Speaker 2 (01:17:41):
It's probably about five o'clock at this point, probably at
least another hour or two. You suspect until if you're
waiting until the uncle returns.
Speaker 1 (01:17:51):
Okay, So I want to, throughout this conversation inform her,
like slightly why we're there, but not tell her the
full thing because I'm a little hesitant if well, I
don't want her knowing my whole backstory, right, I just
want her knowing enough.
Speaker 2 (01:18:08):
Well, what do you tell her? What don't you?
Speaker 1 (01:18:10):
I tell her that we're there on a mission trying
to get information. But I can't tell more because I
am a king. I've been sent by the king to
do reconnaissance.
Speaker 2 (01:18:23):
Okay, but you do tell her that you are employed
by the king.
Speaker 1 (01:18:26):
Yes, But I only say we're here for a secret
mission that we're not allowed to talk about. But I
can tell her that and I don't have all day,
but I'll be back later that evening for sure.
Speaker 2 (01:18:39):
Okay, Yeah, you guys have a pleasant conversation. She's not
like there's in no shape or form she like foughting
over you or anything. But she is having a very
pleasant conversation with you. She tells a little bit about herself,
what she's doing. Maybe you just just to talk about
yourself a little bit. It's a nice conversation goes on
forever long you want it for.
Speaker 1 (01:19:01):
I want to go for like thirty about thirty minutes
of chatter and buying drinks, and then I am going
to go back to the group. I'm assuming they're done
arguing at this point and they're all together. Yeah, and
tell her to meet me there at whatever time would
(01:19:24):
be appropriate to get back.
Speaker 2 (01:19:27):
Okay, just at the at the tavern.
Speaker 1 (01:19:29):
Yes, right where we are right now.
Speaker 2 (01:19:32):
Okay, J says, Well, I don't plan on going anywhere.
I may go up to my room for a while
and continue to frighten my journal, but I hope food
back down here later tonight. When the there's usually uh
a bard or two who comes in and does a performance.
Speaker 1 (01:19:49):
Perfect.
Speaker 2 (01:19:51):
All right, gonna go back over to the group. Do
you guys do anything in particular? Do you guys just
kind of wait?
Speaker 6 (01:19:57):
I will buy Sir Hogan a bear for kind of
messing up his story, and then I will go play cards.
Speaker 3 (01:20:07):
Okay, you do that.
Speaker 2 (01:20:10):
You guys kind of waited out. I'm just gonna kind
of assume that you guys kind of spoke to Yeah,
you spoke to his nephew about it. And at some
point someone you don't know kind of comes into the
bar and kind of goes over talks to him, and
he kind of calls you all over if you're not
currently at the actual bar itself, and he lets you
know that Wilhelm has returned and he is currently just
(01:20:34):
kind of out basically out where Handelick and Beltrazor were before.
Speaker 7 (01:20:40):
Oh wonderful.
Speaker 5 (01:20:42):
We should probably pay him a quick visit.
Speaker 1 (01:20:45):
Yes, I have discussions to have.
Speaker 5 (01:20:50):
Yeah that's yes. Uh should we go grab? Oh well,
let's try and get the group together. We might all
want to hear what he has to say. It sounds
like he was just dealing with bart bandits. Mary Larry,
are you winning this time?
Speaker 3 (01:21:11):
Mary?
Speaker 6 (01:21:12):
Rry?
Speaker 3 (01:21:13):
Mary yelled, what.
Speaker 5 (01:21:15):
Uh the the uncle came back from his uh outing
in the woods. We're gonna ask about the bandits. Do
you want to come along?
Speaker 6 (01:21:26):
Yeah, let me grab your hogan.
Speaker 5 (01:21:28):
Oh, thank you, thank you.
Speaker 2 (01:21:30):
All right, you all gather around and begin to make
your way on over a few minute walk. You know,
if there's not nearly as many hands outside sunset. The
sun had set just like half an hour to an
hour ago. There's plenty of lights around lanterns. I should say.
There are no animals out. You can assume that they're
(01:21:51):
all back in their barns or coops. And he noticed
you all kind of waves you on over here. He
has her of the arrival and the people asking questions. Uh,
welcome uh to my farm. You all were looking for me.
You've something about the King Bandits. What's up?
Speaker 1 (01:22:14):
I want to interject, like before anyone can get a
word out, and mm.
Speaker 7 (01:22:19):
Hmm uh do you have any special chickens?
Speaker 2 (01:22:25):
Uh, there's Gertrude, but I heard that someone bought her earlier.
Did you bring your back back with where's your bag?
Speaker 1 (01:22:33):
It's still on my back. I'm not letting this chicken go.
Speaker 2 (01:22:39):
I'd say Gertrude is special that you already got her. Uh,
but got if you're looking for hends that like lay,
I produce fairly well. I can point you towards that,
but I don't know what you could mean by special chicken.
Speaker 1 (01:22:56):
Anything that would catch the eye of a normal person.
Speaker 2 (01:23:05):
I can't really say no.
Speaker 5 (01:23:12):
Right, Would you tell us about the bandit problems we've
been happening recently. We're here, sent by the king to help.
Speaker 2 (01:23:19):
Give me one second, I'm checking southing real quick, of course,
belchers or when he's talking about that, you just noticed
there's like some slight hesitancy, but you don't know for
sure if that means anything or not, Like when he
says that nothing of special, nothing of note, m only
(01:23:44):
you would have noticed that. Now you can continue on.
Speaker 5 (01:23:51):
So, yes, we were sent by the king. Something about
bandit trouble. Would you tell us about that?
Speaker 2 (01:23:59):
Oh? Oh yeah, we had some bandits come by. Oh
is it two and a half days ago? Now they
yell and something that I stolen something of theirs. I
don't know what they're talking about. I told them off.
They accused me. I threatened them because since the last
time they tried to attack us, we held them off.
(01:24:21):
They know better than any sort of direct assault. I
assume they're going to come back at some point and
just want to discuss more if we change are because
we have a sort of treaty right now, we give
them goods, they don't outright attack us. But now that's
(01:24:42):
really about it. I'm surprised. Did How did the king
hear about that? That's strange.
Speaker 5 (01:24:49):
He pays very close attention to the needs of his subjects.
But yes, we were given some information about these bandits
by your Oh was it nephew that works the fields?
Speaker 3 (01:25:03):
I was the.
Speaker 5 (01:25:06):
I'm purposely asking him if it was his nephew to
see if he'll correct me.
Speaker 2 (01:25:11):
He says, which nephew. I mean the other ones are
pretty younger bym assuming that the only nephew who may
know would be the one in the bar. But none
of that.
Speaker 5 (01:25:26):
It was your niece, of course, of course.
Speaker 2 (01:25:28):
Okay, yes, yes, Murphy.
Speaker 5 (01:25:31):
Yes, yes, Well, if you give us any information about
these badnets, we might be able to take care of
the problem for you where they're low kid, et cetera,
et cetera. My teammates over here they're very inclined to,
how you say, murder brutally.
Speaker 2 (01:25:50):
Okay, I mean I don't know where they are exactly,
but if you'll maybe if you'll want to stay around.
They mentioned they may s own someone tomorrow to kind
of discuss part Usually they meet in the evenings. But
I don't think that this should be necessary. We have
(01:26:11):
kind of a good deal. Tip Like what we've been
told before by the king or anyone else, is that
just try to avoid bloodshed or trying to make deals.
Be more diplomatic these days.
Speaker 5 (01:26:26):
I can understand the wisdom in that if something tells
me things might take a turn for the worst soon,
we'll be around and let us know when it's about
time for them to come by. I'm gonna well, we'll
be staying at the end of the meantime. If anything happens,
try and send someone to us. Oh, we're going to
have to find some way to occupy our time. Him Malick,
(01:26:49):
I don't suppose you have any ideas. Oh, Jimmy, would
you introduce me to your card friends at this point? No,
just or kind of just start wandering back to the
end slowly, but surely just the time of talking to
himself and leave.
Speaker 3 (01:27:04):
Did any of us walk with him?
Speaker 5 (01:27:06):
Or he just gonna start going And as he begins
talking to himself.
Speaker 2 (01:27:14):
I, oh, okay, you boys have any other questions for me?
I'm ready. I've been a long day. I'm ready to
go get tucked into bed.
Speaker 1 (01:27:24):
May we may we do a quick sweep of the place.
We can be accompanied. I just want to check it out.
Speaker 2 (01:27:34):
Uh, A sweep of the place.
Speaker 1 (01:27:37):
Sweep of the land, the boy, the farmhouse. We don't
have to go in the house. We just want to
see if there's anything suspicious.
Speaker 2 (01:27:45):
Stand you all work with or for the king? I no,
thank you all my everyone's trying to go to bed
right now. I don't want to hold anybody else up.
Send people on home. I want to go to I
know my family is ready to go to bed. If
you maybe we can discuss this tomorrow midday tomorrow, how about.
Speaker 9 (01:28:10):
Mmm?
Speaker 7 (01:28:12):
I really want to check out that bar.
Speaker 2 (01:28:13):
Are you all all right? You can check out the
barn tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:28:17):
I'll do it.
Speaker 3 (01:28:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:28:19):
I also don't want to disturb the animals. I really
tried to avoid messing with their sleep routine.
Speaker 5 (01:28:27):
All right, All, all right?
Speaker 2 (01:28:28):
Any anything else? I suppose I should expect to see
you all tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (01:28:35):
We'll see you then.
Speaker 2 (01:28:37):
Yep.
Speaker 3 (01:28:38):
I kind of give him a toast with my farm
beer as he walks away, all right.
Speaker 2 (01:28:44):
He kind of just he nods, He kind of just
glares at you walls you kind of walk away. You
get the idea that he's like somewhat suspicious of what
you guys are doing here, isn't quite trusted, because it's
very weird for this to come about. You guys are
just coming about all of a sudden, asking about bandits
when there's really no nothing was called out for you all.
(01:29:05):
He's curious and suspicious of you all. You will make
your way back to the ends. Uh do you already
have room and board for you? I don't know if
you guys want to share rooms or be split.
Speaker 1 (01:29:23):
Okay, so wants to share room with Sir Hogan, but
he wants to go back to the tavern to try
to convince this lady. He wants to go back to
the tavern.
Speaker 2 (01:29:38):
Okay, you go back to the tavern. You're trying to
woo her now. Oh yeah, all right, go ahead and
roll a persuasion check for me. I got the nineteen
In eighteen, you guys discuss have some more drinks. You
(01:30:01):
and you kind of mentioned that about going to your room.
She's not come, she's not sure if there's somebody else there.
She does offer you to uh come to her room
for a drink and maybe talk for a little bit. Yes,
all right, go up there, fade to black. We get it.
(01:30:23):
Congrats having to look. I'm surprised you're able to do
so this quickly. Anything else of note for anybody else?
There is a bard there, he's there's playing some music.
People are Joe of your dancing, nothing too much of note.
Speaker 3 (01:30:36):
So Hogan wants to go dancing with everybody.
Speaker 2 (01:30:39):
Yeah, you dancing, not the way you You know how
to dance, Let's be honest, Sir, Hogan knows how to
get down.
Speaker 3 (01:30:45):
With the with the beer in hand.
Speaker 2 (01:30:47):
Oh yeah, not a single drop spilled.
Speaker 5 (01:30:52):
Your pastes the fuck out exactly, tim.
Speaker 2 (01:30:58):
He looks at his watch. Oh my goodness, the.
Speaker 5 (01:31:00):
Type quite past my bedtime and just onto the bed.
Speaker 2 (01:31:08):
Mm hmm, all right, Uh.
Speaker 6 (01:31:12):
Larry, Larry will see karaoke with the bard.
Speaker 2 (01:31:19):
Okay, go to all performance.
Speaker 6 (01:31:25):
And then he will go to bed.
Speaker 2 (01:31:26):
Okay, absolutely see that performance. Check to see how Larry
does nice start joining. Do you know, does Larry know
any instruments?
Speaker 6 (01:31:46):
I don't think Larry does.
Speaker 2 (01:31:50):
Instrument I have a questions since here you are a satyr.
Are you from the Faye wild or are you like
always have you always been in this material plane?
Speaker 6 (01:32:02):
I'm from the wild Okay, yeah, from faiwowit.
Speaker 2 (01:32:10):
He probably came here long a while ago, but you
would have been taught the what's it called? The little
handheld harp? What's what's that thing called?
Speaker 7 (01:32:19):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (01:32:19):
Yeah, you know how to play that. I'm just gonna
I'm gonna say you have that unless you disagree.
Speaker 6 (01:32:25):
Yeah, I'm gonna whip it out.
Speaker 2 (01:32:26):
Yeah, you whip that out. Uh, the bard with his
lute and y'all rock the place. This is what Sir
Hogan is getting down to. But damn near break dancing
while keeping that beer up. He'll toss it up and
do a sick flip and then catch it. Not a
single drop spilt. Y'all have a wonderful night. Starts to
(01:32:47):
die down. Do you guys stay up late or.
Speaker 1 (01:32:49):
Do you I'm sorry, sorry, I was gonna continue on
to that whenever. Uh they in the night and Sir
Hogan goes back to his room or our room, I
want to come in like ten minutes after crying, I
(01:33:10):
forgot about that.
Speaker 2 (01:33:12):
Yeah you're sir Hoobi. He had a great night, you're tired.
He start to lay down, and just as you start
to drift off, the door flies open and you look
over and him like streams down his face.
Speaker 3 (01:33:27):
I passed him one of my dead beers, and I
just kind of roll over.
Speaker 2 (01:33:32):
Yeah, this isn't the first time.
Speaker 1 (01:33:33):
Can I Yeah, Okay, I want to I want to
start telling him about the experience.
Speaker 3 (01:33:39):
And I'm just sitting there asleep.
Speaker 2 (01:33:43):
Let's it's not okay, Yeah, you tell Sir Hogan, but
what's going off?
Speaker 3 (01:33:47):
Sir?
Speaker 2 (01:33:47):
Rogan is desperately not wanting to listen.
Speaker 1 (01:33:50):
I want to talk just loud enough to where he
can't sleep until he listens to the full story.
Speaker 2 (01:34:00):
Hogan. Do you start listening at all? Are you trying
to like do everything you can to not listen.
Speaker 3 (01:34:06):
I'd try not listen at first, but I'm kind of
used to this. I know the best way to give
him to shut up is to listen. Yeah. I kind
of like just turn back around and I'm like kind
of halfway awake. Just kind of listen.
Speaker 2 (01:34:19):
And one thing you've noticed about him, like and him
telling these stories every time something like this happens, some
of these stories kind of blend together where you can
kind of tell A lot of this is fabricated, some
of it is new that you kind of assume might
be true. A lot of it's kind of embarrassing. You
don't know why he would do that or why he'd
be telling you about it, and like, Okay, no, that's
(01:34:40):
something that he told me about that months ago. That's
not what happened. That kind of thing. You're just trying
to get through it for him to shut up so
you can go to bed.
Speaker 1 (01:34:49):
It was the best night of her life, she told.
Speaker 2 (01:34:51):
Me, Sir Hogan, Rolling Insight, damn like Roll Deception.
Speaker 7 (01:35:01):
Where I got a twenty.
Speaker 3 (01:35:05):
A real Insight.
Speaker 2 (01:35:08):
Natural twenty. You guys, you guys did match on a twenty.
But uh, since sir Hogan got a natural twenty, you're
kind of impressed. Like the amount of detail he's willing
to go into make to make that sound true. You
know there is no way he is. He is fibbing.
Speaker 3 (01:35:29):
We've done this before, Amble like I'm used to this.
Speaker 1 (01:35:35):
I want to give him. I want to give him
a hug and say thank you for the help, and
then I want to lay down.
Speaker 2 (01:35:42):
And for the first time, you notice Hemlick doesn't have
his pants on. And he was kind of uh, his
top is on even as Ah does he like doesn't
have a hat, but just no pants. He has his
boots on too. Whatever. He just kind of falls over
(01:36:04):
into his cot and goes to sleep. Everyone gets a
good night's rest. You all wake up. We'll actually no
having a good night's rest. You're sleeping, but you're all
awoken by some yelling from down below. It's kind of
(01:36:24):
hard to make out, but it is angry and loud,
and you hear some outside as well, And that is
where we're going to end for tonight.
