Speaker 1 (00:00):
We have a lot going on and a lot to
get to today, and I wanted to mention everything that
we know about the conversation which happened this afternoon between
President Donald Trump and Benjaminette Yahoo. Now, Trump unveils a
twenty point plan of what he's going to do, and

(00:22):
Benjaminette Yaho talked this afternoon, we'll get to something that
he said in a moment. I wanted to share these
twenty points as as easily that as one could share
a twenty point plan point one. And this was a

(00:47):
I knew we were going to have this meeting, and
this meeting was going to be a thing, but I
just didn't anticipate seeing a plan kind of already it together.
Sent to the media with comments from Benjamin net Yahoo today.
I thought this was going to be kind of a
meeting where it's like, hey, can we get closer to

(01:09):
wrapping this thing up? Well, it looks like we are
ready to go. And it's got Donald Trump's name on it.
So here it was released here about an hour ago,
Donald Trump's comprehensive plant in the Gaza conflict. And I
will go through these one by one. I may not
read every single word, but because There's a lot of words,
but here's what they said. Number One, Gaza will be

(01:33):
a deradicalized Tara free zone that does not pose a
threat to its neighbors. Number two, Gaza will be redeveloped
for the benefit of the people of Gaza, who have
suffered more than enough.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Three.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
If both sides agreed to this proposal, the war will
immediately end. Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed uponline
to prepare for a hostage release. During this time, all
military option operations, including Aeriel and artill rebombardment, will be
suspended and battle lines will remain frozen until conditions are
met for the complete staged withdrawal. Four. Within seventy two

(02:10):
hours of Israel publicly accepting this agreement, all hostages, alive
and deceased, will be returned. Five. Once all hostages are released,
Israel will release two hundred and fifty life sentence prisoners
plus seventeen hundred Gozzins who were detained after October seventh,
twenty twenty three, including all women and children detained in

(02:32):
that context. For every Israeli hostage whose remains are released,
Israel will release the remains of fifteen deceased Gosins. I'm
gonna stop there. If that doesn't tell you the kind
of horror that has been going on in the Middle East.
For every Israeli hostage with remains that are released, then

(02:53):
Israel releases the remains of fifteen deceased Gosins for every
one Israeli gee whiz now number six. Once all hostages
are returned, Hamas members who commit to peaceful coexistence and
to decommission their weapons will be given amnesty. Members of
Hamas who wish to leave Gaza will be provided safe

(03:15):
passage to receiving countries. That in and of itself is
a pretty interesting addition to this that Hamas a terror
organization as far as the United States is concerned. In
the middle of this war, nothing but bad things to
say throughout. But if it gets us to the end

(03:37):
of the war, Donald Trump with this plan seemingly willing
to say, we will help put these people in different places,
or if they want to stay in the area. They
are going to get rid of their weapons and they
are going to be completely deradicalized. I don't know how
you can prove that. And even if they got rid
of their weapons, I don't know how you can prevent
weapons from coming back into the hands of people like this,

(03:59):
but something to keep an eye on. Number seven. Upon
acceptance of this agreement, full aid will be immediately sent
into the Gaza Strip. At a minimum. Aid quantities will
be consistent with what was included in the January nineteenth,
twenty twenty five agreement regarding humanitarian aid, including rehabilitation of
infrastructure like water, electricity and sewage, rehabilitation of hospitals and bakeries,

(04:23):
and entry of necessary equipment to remove rubble and open roads.

Speaker 2 (04:28):
Eight.

Speaker 1 (04:29):
Entry of distribution and aid in the Gaza Strip will
proceed without interference from the two parties, through the United
Nations and its agencies and the Red Crescent, in addition
to the other international institutions not associated in any manner
with either party. Opening the Rafa crossing in both directions
will be subject to the same mechanism implemented under the
January nineteenth, twenty twenty five agreement. Now the Rafa situation.

(04:54):
Rafa was a place at the southern edge of where
Gaza is that was a ref FuG location, And I
mean it was a big deal when Israel basically said, oh,
we're going to go attack there too, because many people
who are in the Gaza area consider themselves Palestinians. They
ran there for refuge from the war, just to run

(05:17):
into more war. But the purpose of that was, you know,
and outrage of a lot of the world. But Israel
was assured from their own intelligence that the people that
are in Hamas are hiding behind these individuals, not just
in a figurative sense, but also in a literal sense.
They were hiding in these areas that they wouldn't think

(05:39):
Israel would attack, so they would not get attacked. Kind
of thing. Number nine. Gaza will be governed under the
temporary transitional governance of a technocratic, a politicals Palestinian committee
responsible for delivering the day to day running of public
services and municipalities for the people in Gaza. This commit

(06:00):
will be made up of qualified Palestinians and international experts,
with oversight and supervision by a new international transitional body,
the Board of Peace, which will be headed and chaired
by President Donald J. Trump, with other members and heads
of state to be announced, including former Prime Minister Tony Blair.
It's the name I hadn't heard in a while. This

(06:20):
body will set the framework and handle the funding for
redevelopment of Gaza until such time as the Palestinian Authority
has completed its reform program as outlined in various proposals,
including President Trump's peace Plan in twenty twenty and the
Saudi French proposal, and can securely and effectively take back
control of Gaza. This body will call on best international

(06:42):
standards to create moderate and efficient governance that serves the
people of Gaza and is conducive to attracting investment. As
you can see here, this is much more than just
a normal peace agreement. This is we are completely radically
and maybe that's the wrong word, changing what people see
in Gaza. We want it to be a hotbed for investment.

(07:02):
We want hot to be a hotbed for development. We
want to make a better life for the people who
are living there. And this is going to take all
of us around the world to help create this. And
that's what the goal is going to be, to try
to get it into a better place, and maybe it
would become a much less threatening area, not just for Israel,
but for the entire region. I'm going through, point by

(07:23):
point the twenty point plan that Donald Trump gave to
the media ahead of a press conference this afternoon basically
talking about this is how we're going to get the
end to the war in Gaza. I'm going to pick
up right where I left off with Point ten. A
Trump economic development plan to rebuild and energize Gaza will
be created by convening a planel of experts who have

(07:43):
helped birth some of the thriving modern miracle cities in
the Middle East. Many thoughtful investment proposals and exciting development
ideas have been crafted by well meaning international groups and
will be considered to synthesize the security and governance frameworks
to attract and facilitate these investments that will create jobs, opportunity,
and hope for future Gaza. Eleven a special economic zone

(08:06):
will be established with preferred tariff and access rates to
be negotiated with participating countries. Twelve. No one will be
forced to leave Gaza, and those who wish to leave
will be free to do so in free to return.
We will encourage people to stay and offer them the
opportunity to build a better Gaza. Thirteen. Hamas and other
factions agree to not have any role in the governance
of Gaza directly, indirectly, or in any form All military,

(08:29):
terror and offensive infrastructure, including tunnels and weapon production facilities,
will be destroyed and not rebuilt. There will be a
process of demilitary demilitarization in Gaza under the supervision of
independent monitors, which will which will include placing weapons permanently
beyond use through an agreed process of decommissioning and supported

(08:51):
by an internationally funded buyback reintegration program, all verified by
the independent monitors. New Gaza will be fully committed to
building a prosperous a canonomy and to peaceful coexistence with
their neighbors. Fourteen. A guarantee will be provided by regional
partners to ensure that Hamas and the factions comply with
their obligations and that New Gaza poses no threat to

(09:11):
its neighbors or its people. I think all of that
is paramount to this agreement actually sticking. Fifteen. The United
States will work with Arab and international partners to develop
a temporary International Stabilization Force or ISF, to immediately deploy
in Gaza. The ISF will train and provide support to
vetted Palestinian police forces in Gaza, and will consult with

(09:33):
Jordan and Egypt, who have extensive experience in this field.
This force will be the long term internal security solution.
The ISF will work with Israel and Egypt to help
secure border areas along with newly trained Palestinian police forces.
It is critical to prevent munitions from entering Gaza and
to facilitate the rapid and secure flow of goods to

(09:53):
rebuild and revitalize Gaza. A deconfliction mechanism will be agreed
upon the parties. That, in and of itself, I think
is pretty interesting if you're thinking about what it's going
to look like rebuilt, looking at Jordan, Egypt and trying
to train new police officers from Palestine or from Gaza.
If you will that are Palestinian to do this work

(10:16):
and can you trust them, you'd be training them to
do so. Sixteen. Israel will not occupy or annex Gaza.
As the ISF establishes control and stability, the Israel Defense
Forces or IDF will withdraw based on standards, milestones and
timeframes linked to militarization that will be agreed upon between
the IDF, ISF, the Garrett, the Garrantors, SORRY, and the

(10:40):
United States, with the objective of a secure Gaza that
no longer poses a threat to Israel. Egypt or its citizens. Practically,
the IDF will progressively hand over the Gaza territory it
occupies to the ISF according to an agreement they will
make with the transitional authority until they are withdrawn completely
from Gaza, say for a security perimeter presence that will
remain until Gaza properly secure from any resurgent terror threat.

(11:03):
Seventeen and the event Hamastilaser rejects this proposal, the above,
including the scaled up AID operation, will proceed in the
terror free areas handed over from the IDF to the ISF. Eighteen,
an inter faith dialogue process will be established based on
the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence to try and
change mindsets and narratives of Palestinians and Israelis by emphasizing

(11:25):
the benefits that can be derived from peace. Nineteen. While
Gaza redevelopment advances and when the PA reform program is
faithfully carried out, the conditions may finally be in place
for a credible pathway the Palestinian self determination in statehood,
which we recognize as the aspiration of the Palestinian people.
Twenty The United States will establish a dialogue between Israel

(11:47):
and the Palestinians to agree on a political horizon for
peaceful and prosperous coexistence. And that is all of those.
Now here is Benjamin net and Yahoo today after this
plan as being organized and explained to people. Here is
what benjaminin Yaho said about if Gaza decides not to accept.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
But if Hamas rejects your plan, mister President, or if
they supposedly accepted and then then basically do everything to
counter it, then Israel will finish the job by itself.
This can be done the easy way, or it can

(12:30):
be done the hard way, but it will be done.
We prefer the easy way, but it has to be done.
All these goals must be achieved because we didn't fight
this horrible fight, sacrifice the finest of our young men
to have Hamas stay in Gaza and threaten us again

(12:52):
and again and again with these horrific massacres.

Speaker 1 (12:56):
That is Benjamin nant Yaho at the White House today saying,
if they don't agree, then we will finish the job. Wow. Well,
I hope that message is received by them, and we
will see what that response will end up being. And
then we have this huge story that came this afternoon

(13:17):
of Donald Trump and Benjamin et Yahu, the Prime Minister
of Israel, talking about what the future is going to
hold with Gaza and how to end the Gaza war.
I have the map, I have what the withdrawal will
look like. I mentioned the twenty point plan, which you

(13:38):
can find on social media and on the internet. They
put this out. Donald Trump gave this to the media
before they even started the press conference earlier this afternoon.
And the idea of current line of control really, I mean,
it's there's not a whole lot of space left there
that the idea doesn't already have. They're an issue withdrawal

(14:00):
with hostage release will basically double the space that Gaza
will have along the Mediterranean See and then a second
withdrawal when the ISF is mobilized, which is going to
be kind of the transitional government and authority system that
is going to be implemented by Donald Trump by other
leaders from around the world. When that is mobilized, they

(14:23):
will even move back a bit further, and then there
will be a security buffer zone on a third withdrawal
that basically is just outlining the border of Gaza. This
is good to get this war over with. If Hamas agrees,

(14:45):
Hamas has been begging for the war to end, but
never wants to meet the requirements of Israel, never wants
to truly negotiate anything that might be a little bit
off with what they are hoping to get, as if

(15:05):
they have any control over this whatsoever. Now of this amount,
of these twenty different points that were listed here, I wonder,
I wonder what the stickiest of the points they're going
to be, because Benjamin and Yahu himself here says he's

(15:27):
in total agreement, and that is essentially punting on ever
having Israeli control over Gaza. Ever again, it is going
to be operational in its own way, but it certainly
will be deradicalized, demilitarized, and will be a lot safer
as a neighbor for a place like Israel. Now again,

(15:48):
seventy two hours, within the seventy two hour window of
Israel accepting the agreement, which I would imagine would count
right now, Israel is releasing the remaining hostages they have
in their captivity, and that Hamas has to do that

(16:10):
within seventy two hours as well, and upon the release
of that taking place, Israel will released two hundred and
fifty life sentence prisoners and seventeen hundred gasins who were
detained after October seventh, twenty twenty three. That's a lot.
That is a lot. So will Israel comply with that?

(16:32):
Assuming Hamas complies on their end, is there going to
be some sort of hang up once Netanyahu comes back
to Israel talks to some of his high ranking, high
profile people, does he kind of feel like, you know what,
this was actually a mistake. I am going to make
it to where it seems that they are not meeting

(16:53):
the criteria and we're going to finish the job the
hard way, as he kind of alluded to.

Speaker 2 (17:00):
Now.

Speaker 1 (17:00):
Donald Trump also mentioned this if they if Hamas themselves
does not agree to this. This was the quote that
he gave during the press conferences. He was asked what
would happen next? He said, and I quote, Israel would
have my full backing to finish the job of destroying

(17:20):
the threat of a moss But I hope that we're
going to have a deal for peace. And if Hamas
rejects the deal, which is always possible, they're the only
one left. Everyone else has accepted it. But I have
a feeling that we're going to have a positive answer.
But if not as you know, maybe you'd have our
full backing to do what you would have to do.

Speaker 2 (17:41):
End quote.

Speaker 1 (17:43):
Now I played the audio before we hit the top
of the three o'clock hour of Benjaminette. Now who's saying,
if you do not agree to it, then boom like, hey,
be on the lookout, because we're going to finish the
job either the easy way of the heart. And on

(18:03):
top of this, with all of the weird, crazy stuff
that has taken place at the United Nations over the
last couple of weeks, the President of the United States
also has been working with leaders in the UN essentially
to make sure they are on the same page with

(18:24):
this as well. So for all of the you know,
like you in hubbub and everything going on, officials from
Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Indonesia, Pakistan
all were at a summit in New York and there
was a great and productive meeting last week with Donald Trump,

(18:46):
according to Special Voice Steve Whitkoff, that took place between
all those countries certainly to help address what this would
look like and where everybody is on this, and everybody
seemed to be in a good situation with that. Now again,
the Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas, who was speaking in

(19:10):
a recorded un GA address because it had to be
recorded because he's barred entry to the United States right now,
he said, as it relates to an agreement, we declare
that we were ready to work with US President Donald
Trump and with the Kingdoms of Saudi Arabia and France,
the United Nations and all partners to implement the peace
plane that was approved in the conference that was held
on the twenty second of September in a way would

(19:34):
lead toward a just peace in regional cooperation, the dawn
of freedom will emerge and the flag of Palestine will
fly high in our skies as a symbol of dignity,
steadfastness and being free from the yoke of occupation. Palestine
is ours, Jerusalem is the jewel of our hearts, in
our eternal capital. We will not leave our homeland. We

(19:54):
will not leave our lands. Now again that in mind,
the House and the Authority wants to take over security
and governance in Gaza. We have this isf idea that
Donald Trump has outlined in the twenty point plan of
how Gaza is going to be able to get its
own government and its own police force, and having the

(20:15):
ability to kind of control what goes in and out
of their and be trustworthy for whatever it's worth, ending radicalization,
ridding the people of Hamas their ability to have firearms
and weaponry, and if anybody in Hamas wants to cooperate
and they agree, they have amnesty, and they have the
ability to be placed somewhere else if they want to

(20:37):
get out of the region, which I think is actually
quite generous considering the kind of attitude this unit has
had about what has gone on in the circumstances of
Israel in the Middle East for the better part of
the last two years. So we'll see what the next

(20:58):
step is here. We will figure it out. Doesn't mean
that the violence is going to end immediately. It doesn't
mean that there aren't other groups like the Huthis, and
there's you know, Hezbollah and Iran still kind of lurking
and looming, and you're not sure exactly what the response
is going to be even if Hamas decides to agree

(21:19):
to this, and if they do, that doesn't necessarily mean
that it's all over for the rest of time, but
it does immediately address Gaza and the immediate threat that
Israel would have from a essentially a neighbor. Even though
it's been a part of Israel, people in Gaza don't

(21:40):
see themselves as Israeli or living in Israel, and it
has been a very contentious relationship for decades. Maybe we
get more clarity and maybe we can get an understanding
of some sort of peace agreement through all of this
by the end of this seventy two hour window. But
because that ends in the middle of this week, that

(22:00):
means that we will have the opportunity to talk about it,
whether it's good or bad news for the Middle East.

Cardiac Cowboys

Cardiac Cowboys

The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
