Speaker 1 (00:00):
You know, when you go out. You know, people don't
know that their property is about to get used as
a takeoff spot or a landing spot. Right, it's very
spontaneous based on wind direction and wind speeds and stuff
like that. Right, there are some there are some places
and some people who are you know, doing stuff and
they agree to be like a target. So like when

(00:22):
they're like setting up the tasks and all the stuff
that the pilots are supposed to do with the targets
and the x's and stuff, they will have properties that
have already volunteered to have an X in their backyard
if the winds are right that day, So they don't
even have to be present. It's just like, you know,
they might get a text message saying, hey, we're going
to be setting up an X in your backyard, feel
free to come out and watch or whatever, and they'll

(00:43):
send scorers out there to just you know, sit and
watch and you know, measure how far away the baggies are.
But when you're taking off from somebody's house, Friday morning
was a six part task because we needed to get
a bunch of tasks in. It was amazing. I got
to be a passenger and there were probably seventy balloons
any somewhere in the vicinity. It was crazy how many
were setting up really close by. And to see the

(01:05):
faces of the people at that property standing on their
porch at you know, six forty five in the morning
looking around their property and seeing all these balloons set up.
And they had a little kid, and they said, like
everybody just sitting there with smiles on their face, with
their coffee in their hand, just watching that's I mean,
it just makes you feel like that was that's a
special thing for them. They're like, man, it's so awesome
when the balloons come here, and that you know, you

(01:27):
do you do this for for the fun of it.
You do it to be able to put you know,
like balloons in the sky and be able to catch them.
But at the same time, you do this because of
the memories that are made and how you know, people
view the hot air balloons
