Speaker 1 (00:00):
I was on the air and I literally had already
booked the guests to talk about the latest coming from
Israel because Donald Trump on true social basically over the
weekend essentially has said, look, this is my last warning
to Hamas. If you don't release the hostages, then you know,
I mean he said this before, remember, I mean it
was back in like February or March that he said

(00:22):
he'll blow him to high heaven or something. And here
we are in September and stuff is still going on.
My immediate inclination when I was reading about this this
morning at like essentially the stuff was coming out as
I was having an interviews, like, okay, so why would

(00:45):
they attack Qatar? And the answer is Hamas has apparently
for a long time had an off shore or off
site headquarters away from God in Doha, the capital of Qatar,
that has apparently been known for a long time that

(01:06):
they have headquarters there. Now, Qatar has since the beginning
of this issue voluntarily been attempting to be a mediator
host mediations try to get between the two sides, and
to help they had to have known that there was
some sort of Hamas gathering space in their capital city.

(01:32):
This is not a dumb country. And even if they
did know, Okay, let's say they didn't know what would
be the appropriate action. Right, They're not going to blow
up their own their own area, right, But could they
have some sort of arrests? Could they chase Hamas out?

(01:54):
I don't know. It's an interesting conversation. Let's say they
didn't know though, you know, Let's say they just didn't
have the right intelligence and they had no idea where
Hamas actually was. And if you're Israel, would it have
made sense to tell them before you decided to strike
or do you just not trust them and you decided

(02:16):
we're gonna do precise strikes and qatars if they're Iran
and we're going to attack and try to erase the
leadership of Hamas, whatever reasoning it is, I have to
be completely honest with you. I just couldn't believe that
they did it, Benjamin at Yahoo and Israel has been

(02:38):
really they have not been very careful about the way
that they've gone about the business they've done after October seventh.
And we can keep talking and preaching about how horrible
October seventh was and the twelve hundred people that were
either killed or taking hostage in Israel by Hamas. But
they have blown up cities, they have blown up civilian

(02:59):
areas to get to Hamas. We keep talking about Hamas
hiding behind human shields and things of that nature. It's
been clear October seventh was the reason Netanyahu needed to
basically have an all out evisceration of the proxy groups
that threaten Israel's existence. You could make a good argument

(03:20):
to me that he needs to do it. I understand
you do not want future generations of Israelis fearing for
their lives because there's still our remnants of Hezbollah or
Hamas or the Huthis or any other dangerous group or
you know, even Iran just kind of sitting there lurking,
waiting for some opportunity to decide to activate.

Speaker 2 (03:43):
You don't want any of that. I get it.

Speaker 1 (03:47):
But how reckless are you willing to be, even against
countries that seemingly are trying to help at any turn?
And what will that do to the relationship with those
countries because you would thank Qatar, they have to have
something to say about this.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
They're not happy.

Speaker 1 (04:08):
They've already said they're not happy missile struck our capital.
I don't care what you were trying to do. Caroline
Levitt was doing a press briefing at the White House today,
as she does a lot of days, and this conversation
was brought up to her attention. You got to keep

(04:29):
in mind she is not speaking on behalf of herself.
She is speaking on behalf of the White House and
the Donald Trump administration. Here is White House Press Secretary
Caroline Levitt reading a statement as it relates to Israel's
strike on Doha guitar.

Speaker 3 (04:43):
This morning, the Trump administration was notified by the United
States military that as Israel was attacking Hamas, which very
unfortunately was located in a section of Doha, the capital
of Qatar. Unilaterally bombing inside Katar, a sovereign nation in
close ally of the United States that is working very
hard in bravely taking risks with us to broker peace,

(05:06):
does not advance Israel or America's goals. However, eliminating Hamas,
who have profited off the misery of those living in Gaza,
is a worthy goal. President Trump immediately directed Special Envoy
Whitkoff to inform the Qataris of the impending attack, which
he did. The President views Qatar as a strong ally
and friend of the United States and feels very badly

(05:29):
about the location of this attack. President Trump's wants all
of the hostages in Gaza and the bodies of the
dead released in this war to end now. President Trump
also spoke to Prime Minister Netyahu after the attack. The
Prime Minister told President Trump that he wants to make
peace and quickly. President Trump believes this unfortunate incident could

(05:52):
serve as an opportunity for peace. The President also spoke
to the Emir and Prime Minister of Qatar and thank
them for their sort and friendship to our country. He
assured them that such a thing will not happen again
on their soil.

Speaker 1 (06:06):
Oh, well, that certainly would make me feel better. Oh
so you just blew up my capital one time.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
That's great.

Speaker 1 (06:12):
I'm glad, glad that that's not gonna happen again. So
what does Katar get well like, Okay, so they've spent
all this time and energy trying to be negotiators to
try to get us to an end of whatever war
we're having between Hamas and the ideologies that Hamas shares

(06:33):
against Israel. They have tried really hard to do that,
and Israel decides to precision strike, and as you heard
in the newscast, it is being reported that Qatar is
saying we were not being informed until after we were
being bombed by the United States.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
So this all took us by surprise by Israel.

Speaker 1 (06:53):
Correct, the United States was doing the warning, but Israel
was doing the striking, but they didn't get the warning
in time, so they didn't know what to expect. Things
were just exploding and they were trying to figure out
what what.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Do we give Qatar?

Speaker 1 (07:08):
How does Guitar get repaid for their capital being struck
here and again the elimination of Hammamas. Yeah, we absolutely don't.
We understand that you can't just go around dropping missiles
on people like this is Qatar. I mean, no disrespect
to Lebanon, no disrespect to Gaza. Heck, no disrespect to Iran,

(07:33):
whom are all aggressors in one way or another. You
could talk about Syria, you could talk about other Middle
Eastern nations that have hostile governments or groups that have
the ideologies, you know, like the Houthis and Yemen. You're like,
of course, we're going to have to go on the

(07:54):
offensive in some way in some of these places. You're
harboring terrorist groups. Qatar is not one of those that
have known to be doing anything like this. Yes, a
terrorist group apparently was using them as an off site
headquarters away from Gaza. You couldn't try to talk to

(08:15):
them about this before you just started dropping missiles. I mean,
how would the United States react in a scenario where
who are two countries that would be going to war
near us? Let's say Guatemala in Nicaragua, East Canada and
West Canadah.

Speaker 2 (08:31):
That'd be weird.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
The Frenchies against the Vancouverites. Yeah, let's just say that
they're at a war with each other away from here,
and we're just kind of around trying to end that war,
help in that war, and all of a sudden, Dallas
takes a couple of missile strikes because Guatemala says there
are Nicaraguan leaders that are hiding out there.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
They'll tell us about it.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
They just you know, go on the offensive end fire
a couple of miles into Dallas and blow up some
you know, suburban housing complexes, likely killing a lot more
people than just the leaders of the country in which
they are looking for. I think we'd be pretty peeved,
would be my guess I think all of a sudden

(09:18):
we would say okay, no more, mister nice guy, and
you're both enemies to us now, and I would imagine
there would probably be some sort of threat of reciprocation.
I don't know what that would mean, and I don't
know what Katar looks at reciprocation. Like I'm sure Donald
Trump and the Americans and the Europeans and every other

(09:39):
nation that sees Qatar as an ally and be like, Okay,
calm down, everything's gonna be all right.

Speaker 2 (09:47):
Just take a deep breath.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
You know that totally works when you got somebody really
angry and riled up. Totally works on a country that
just had a couple of missiles striking their capital. I
don't know, man, I don't know. Are we a tempting
to get to peace or are we not? Let's be honest,
of course, Benjamin Etana who says, okay, we're ready for
peace now after you just started something with Katar essentially,

(10:09):
even if it is indirect, unreal.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
We'll have more on this if you got some thoughts.

Speaker 1 (10:14):
The email line is open Emory atkfab dot com. We
got plenty on the menu to talk about today. Here
on news radio eleven ten kfab.

Speaker 2 (10:22):
Em Marie Sunger on news radio eleven ten kfab.

Speaker 1 (10:27):
Got a message from John says I was stationed in Qatar.
He says they knew they were there, as he mentions,
you know, we're talking about Hamas. They knew that Hamas
was hiding out in Quitar somewhere. So if they would
have known they were there, did they know exactly where
they were or do they know that they were hanging out?
They were aware because he's like MS thirteen for instance,

(10:50):
right like the way the United States, we know MS
thirteen is around, but where exactly their leaders or their
high ranking members are located. That takes quite a bit
of an operation to know exactly where they are, especially
if they stay on the move, which you would imagine
a group like Kamas would not just stay posted up

(11:11):
in the same place for a long time.

Speaker 2 (11:12):
That'd be pretty sloppy.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Regardless if Kaitar knew they were there, the first question
that I would ask, if I was Israel, or if
I was anyone in Europe, or if I was Donald
Trump the United States is did you know exactly where
they were? And why didn't you do anything? And did
Israel talk to Qatar about that. Have other countries with

(11:36):
that type of intelligence talk to Guitar about that? And
Qatar was unwilling to get themselves hands on involved in
any of it. If that's the case, Scott, would you
green light this missile strike if you're another nation and
if your qutar do you have to just kind of

(11:56):
swallow the fact that we didn't handle this.

Speaker 2 (11:58):
So Israel decided they had to let me look at it.

Speaker 4 (12:01):
From this way. Katar knows that Hamas is there, but
who is Hamas? Hamas is the ruling authority in the
Palestinian section of Gaza in the West Bank. There by
those people who, by the way, are aligned with a
lot of people throughout that region. Hamas is not a
terrorist organization. They are a political organization. Now they're a

(12:26):
terrorist organization when it comes to Israel, but a lot
of people in that part of the world don't care
about that. They see Hamas as just ducky. So Qatar
has got Hamas posted up somewhere in Doha. Hamas is
being funded by Iran, which is partners and funding from Russia.
Russia is now in super great cahoots with China, and

(12:50):
Qatar is just sitting there in the middle going, look,
we know that they're here. We know Israel wants to
blow them off the face of the map. We would
just as soon as they'd be gone. But we don't
want to have problems with Iran. We certainly don't want
to have problems with Russia and China.

Speaker 2 (13:04):
We're Qatar.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
We don't even know if we're pronounced Qatar or Cutter,
I think they know, so, I mean, don't How can
we get out of this where we don't have to
go get called up by Jijienpaning or Vladimir Putin or
whatever and be called Okay, here's what we do. Israel
blows up Hamas. That problem is now done. Hamas is
now running, and they realize, oh, we can't have safe

(13:27):
shelter in Qatar anymore. The president can get President Trump
and be like, hey, we didn't know Israel was going
to do that. So now when China and Russia go, hey,
what are you doing here? You've got Israel. You're working
with Israel to blow up Amaas. Hey, we didn't tell
them to do. We had no idea. And meanwhile we
back channel with Cutter going, hey, nice job, thank you
very much, you guys want a Trump International golf course,

(13:49):
we'll get you a Trump International golf course. You guys
want to look more like the UAE, we can work
on that. You guys need to high rise casino, we
can do. You know, I don't know what backchannel Togo
she is. But I don't believe that President Trump found
out after the strike that Israel did this.

Speaker 1 (14:06):
I agree with them, But Qatar apparently was being informed
by American officials as it was happening.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
Yeah, but you're but you're looking at this like Qatar
just had, you know, missiles go off in their capitol,
and they're like, hey, what the heck?

Speaker 2 (14:22):
You know?

Speaker 4 (14:22):
Okay, so you're the leader of Qatar. You want these
cockroaches out of your country. Israel says we can handle that.
America says, we'll take care of you. You're not going
to have to rebuild this, and we'll keep the civilian
casualty count as low as possible, hopefully nothing. Yeah, are
you well, I mean, I don't know, I don't know

(14:43):
at this point, but you're the leader of Qatar and
you're like, huh, this doesn't sound like a terrible deal.
Do you take it?

Speaker 1 (14:51):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (14:53):
You would be dumb not to.

Speaker 2 (14:54):
You're right it, but how do I explain my self?

Speaker 4 (15:00):
Know you you ignorance is bliss.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
They're gonna say, how are we not responding to Israel?
That's what they're gonna say. It's like, oh, okay, you know,
we should They're an enemy, now, shouldn't they be?

Speaker 4 (15:13):
They didn't attack Qatar.

Speaker 2 (15:16):
They attacked Doha. Guitar to take out jmas I.

Speaker 4 (15:19):
You know what, I think the smartest thing for the
leader of Qatar to say is we appreciate Israel for
helping us get rid of a terrorist organization that thought
they could take refuge in our country.

Speaker 2 (15:32):
Yeah, by blowing up part of our capital city.

Speaker 4 (15:35):
We are and then blow up part of the capital
the capital city people are still going to and from work.

Speaker 2 (15:40):
Or whatever they're saying. I'm just saying they.

Speaker 4 (15:42):
Took out a compound. It'd be like if someone if
someone blew up and like an old Walmart, an old
toys r us that was here in our community. It
was like a building. We weren't really sure what was
going on in there. It's a it's a big building,
and they took and suddenly a missile comes down and

(16:02):
blows that thing out of a part of Omaha. It's
not like all of Omaha suddenly a smoldering wreckage.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
But would you feel a tabent?

Speaker 4 (16:11):
Yeah, and then you'd have Mayor Ewing come out and say, look,
we didn't know that this terrorist organization was operating in there.
We appreciate Israel and taking care of that. We don't
we don't appreciate the way they did it. And President
net and Yahoo, Prime Minster and Yahoo has assured us
that he will communicate better with us in the future

(16:32):
so this kind of thing doesn't happen again.

Speaker 1 (16:34):
I better be getting something, that's all I'm saying. I'm
sure you will if there, if I am the Prime Minister,
What do you.

Speaker 4 (16:40):
Get if everyone thinks that you knew that these guys
were holed up in there, what do you think that
you deserve?

Speaker 2 (16:47):
Well, I just want everyone to know, whether we know
or not.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
They were the cowards who knew Hamas was in there
and they didn't do anything about it, or maybe they did,
maybe they tipped off Israel and said, look, don't blame
us for taking care of these guys, because that's gonna
get us in trouble with all these crazy people in
Yemen or Siria or whatever, and we don't need that,
so we have to look dumb here and be temporarily outright.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
So you think it's a work.

Speaker 4 (17:12):
Yeah, I definitely think that no one except for Hamas
was taken off guard by this.

Speaker 1 (17:21):
Even if Katar says they were taken off guard by sure, Yeah,
all right, all right. John does follow up and says
they know every step they take would close the gates
when the groups would be moving around the city. So
Guitar not as innocent as we think, according to John.

Speaker 4 (17:38):
I imagine they're not. But look at the position that
they're in.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
They're in a great position, and honestly they if Donald
Trump in the United States, Seeson has a strong ally
it has everything to do with their positioning in the
Middle East, their willingness to be a negotiator. But if
we're acting like there's some sort of like Western civilization
that has the same values as we do, we know
based on the World Cup that was there a couple
of years ago, that definitely is not the case. So like,

(18:01):
let's not let's not get too many things, you know,
in the crosshairs here. This is not an innocent country
as it relates to the ideologies that they do not
share with us, but they do try.

Speaker 2 (18:16):
I believe.

Speaker 4 (18:21):
They clearly have something to offer us more than we
do them. Otherwise President Trump would come out and call
them a shinola whole country and they deserved everything they got.
But for President Trump to come out and go great partners. Frankly,
no one's better partners than Qatar, and you know, for
him to praise them, there's obviously some sort of back

(18:41):
channel dealing going on.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Yeah, well you want to know what I also think.
I also think that are we any closer to peace here?
Maybe depending on how who and how many Hamas leaders
are dead here. But if I'm nanyahuh, I would ever
stop at this point, Like everybody's already mad at me,
I'm in the process of trying to rid the political

(19:09):
quotes group that has been running this area around my
country for a long time and want us to be
completely out of there by destroying our people. I want
them destroyed and I'm not stopping until they are destroyed.
He can say he wants peace all the time. I mean,
how many times is Vladimir Putin told Trump he wants

(19:30):
peace and he's done nothing about it?

Speaker 2 (19:34):
Zero? He cares not about the words that he is saying,
So I don't

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Know more details are going to come out on this
about who actually did get eliminated and what Guitar's real
feelings are going to be as the hours progress, and
we'll let you know that
