Speaker 1 (00:02):

Fox Sports fourteenth fifty powered by Nova Insurance Services Insure
your most Prized possessionets.

Speaker 2 (00:17):
Hey, good afternoon, everybody.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
Welcome to Eye on the Ball here on Fox Sports
forteen fifty. Steve Rivera a little frazzled because I don't
like being different or change.

Speaker 2 (00:27):
Hey, break, you're here on time? Kind of? I was
here on time. He was here, he was early. Yeah, here.

Speaker 3 (00:35):
Because we almost got kicked out of the the other room.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
What we did?

Speaker 3 (00:38):
Right?

Speaker 2 (00:39):
I think back in year old, we're out of the icebox. Yeah.
Why did I bundled up like it was ten degrees outside?
Why are we? Why are we in here now.

Speaker 3 (00:45):
Because someone happened to be in there doing their show.
Never knew that we did our show from there. That's unaccepted.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
Think world, thanks for us to your mind for the world.
Let me give my phone. I'll write a strongly worded
letter to that in chief. You want you want me
to write it for you? Yeah, probub Yeah, if you
didn't notice, that's one.

Speaker 3 (01:03):
And we have kinzie. How are you welcome back? Welcome back?
We'll see what actually still trying to train and learn
what the heck we do. I'm still trying to learn
what we do.

Speaker 2 (01:14):
We barely know what to do.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
So welcome everybody. Hey Blake, we have a pretty good
show today. Hey Steve, I think we do.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
What do you have? We've got PBR Yeah, talking about
the upcoming event.

Speaker 3 (01:25):
I'm gonna tell him it's a hell of a way
to make a living. I know, man, it's crazy getting
your ass kicked every day.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
Yeah. I think hockey and bull riders are two of
the craziest people on earth. So yeah, it's so unstable. Yeah,
your teeth duentured lungs. Yeah, it's it's crazy. That's Wyatt,
Wyatt Rogers. Yes, yeah, so that's he's at three seventeen.
And then at four seventeen, we're gonna have one of
our regular guests, Matt more and know from from on

(01:54):
three talking about the recruiting class because it talks today's
the recruiting class day. Have you been paying attention?

Speaker 4 (02:00):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (02:00):
I have?

Speaker 2 (02:00):
Have you been ready?

Speaker 5 (02:01):
No?

Speaker 3 (02:02):
Okay, but you have? Oh good, so you can ask
the questions. I hate recruiting, by the way.

Speaker 6 (02:06):
I don't love it, but pay attention enough to to
know who you know.

Speaker 2 (02:12):
That it's a pretty good class. Yeah, they just got
a four star and three star, right.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
Yeah, four star from Kansas State. Oh they did that
this week, right yeah? Yeah, okay, lay.

Speaker 2 (02:21):
Day after the Territorial Cup. It's very rare for I
see you every seven days, so it's not going to
be like the day of. It could have happened six
days ago and it still would have been new news
for us to talk about.

Speaker 7 (02:31):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:32):
By the way, true, Yeah, you missed me those seven
days so badly, so badly.

Speaker 2 (02:38):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:39):
Well, good to have you back your cats now. I
saw you my pursonal. I don't know any cats Saturday. Saturday,
they were the Wildcats and then Friday. Did you go
to the game on Friday? I did as a fan obviously.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
Yeah. You didn't see one there? One was a fan.
I did. I was a very big fan. You were
a fan there? Yes? Were you going crazy? Huh? Did
you have Did you have some fun? Yeah? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:03):
Fight? But did you take some pictures of some fights?
Were there fights in your area?

Speaker 2 (03:07):
No?

Speaker 6 (03:07):
No, I actually I fought with the UA fan. Well
I can't believe it because I was in their seat.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Yeah. And it was also the same thing. It was
a whole empty rod. Oh my God, I did the
same thing at the basketball mud have been you? No, no, no,
I did in a basketball game. I was sitting next
to my dad and my uncle and these people came
over with five seats available, and they're like, you're in
our seats. And then we get up to leave, we
look back and they've spread themselves out once every three seats,
and then they left three minutes late, so they were
fifteen minutes late to the game. And then they left
after sitting there for three minutes.

Speaker 3 (03:33):
Really, yeah, the last audacity of people.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
So what were you? Where'd you move? How did you
go back to my regular seats?

Speaker 8 (03:40):
Oh?

Speaker 2 (03:40):
Yeah, it's just nice to hang out with my dad
and my uncle there. Oh okay, so did you move
back or you just stay? We're not going back and forth. Okay,
it's embarrassing enough, that's true, that's true. Welcome everybody.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
Take some calls five to two oh four, one, six,
seventy four forty uh talking about bull riding and then
recruiting what all.

Speaker 2 (04:00):
A budge of ball. It's a bunch of a bunch
of don't even write that way. You need to write
that way. I try just in puns well clever, No Okay,
so you're saying one is not clever. Well, I'm trying
to take the compliment here. I mean, sorry, man, it's
very backhanded. I like that shirt, but it'd go better
with a better like we faced.

Speaker 3 (04:18):
Yes, yes, a many times when I've heard that one.
Hopefully never, but no, that's pretty cool.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
I'd be rich.

Speaker 9 (04:25):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Okay, so basketball a week off. Saturday's next game, Alburn
Big game, eight pm, eight pm.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
You'll be there. I'll be there.

Speaker 3 (04:33):
That's part of your best home game non conference that
you'll see. Yeah, I mean absolutely, I don't think you
can argue with that, right, Yeah, until the Big Twelve. Yeah,
we've talked about this a thousand times. I saw some
stuff online talking about, oh what about the fans locally here,
they don't get good games?

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Well, you got the Big Twelve, which you've got a
full season of great games. But still I entered the
argument to me, in the argument you're going to continue
to make, I don't want to go to neutral sites
as a as a season ticket holder, Like I don't
want to go to to watch Yeah, I'm going to
go to Phoenix to watch the San Diego State. We
went to Vegas to watch Florida, Florida. So I'm just

(05:10):
just go home and Home. Just do Home and Home series. Right,
you're not selling if you're not selling out on neutral sites.
Do Home and Home series. Yeah, that's my grind. Oh
do you want me to comment on well you don't
have to be home. Well, you starre pretty aggressively.

Speaker 3 (05:24):
I want Urn because I had no thoughts of soping
he can fill in the space. No, that's right, that's fine.
And then San Diego State. What's the thirteenth? They're going
to Alabama a week from now, and then then they
come back for the San Diego State game in Phoenix.
I think the fifteenth, that Monday or Tuesdays whatever game
that is, Yeah for.

Speaker 6 (05:38):
San Diego State. Yeah, that is the twentieth twentieth, so
that's okay. Weekly Tuesday is Aplene Christian Tuesday. December sixteenth,
so another So they're getting their stats padded.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
And I think what they're doing is they're playing tough
opponents and then getting back to kind of basics and
and learning what they learned from those opponents to put
it in place. Like they've run a lot of full
core press. They run a lot of press, which is
which is nice to see because yeah, you don't actually
see that very often. No, against against mediocre team, it
doesn't matter. You got to run it to get Did
you guys get an update on Yvonne? No, well, well tomorrow,

(06:12):
possibly tomorrow. Yeah, it's not good. I mean, I'm guessing
it's not good. I don't have insider now. The fact
that he didn't come back. I'm sure he went to
the hospital to get checked out.

Speaker 3 (06:22):
But I don't know about that. I really don't know
about He didn't even say that. But I don't go
too extremely Okay, that's honestly, don't unless you.

Speaker 2 (06:29):
Know, and I don't know. I don't have any secrets that.

Speaker 3 (06:32):
No, I would think that we will know till tomorrow.
Precautionary stuff. And you know, whatever I saw it, I
saw it, and.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
I couldn't tell from where we're that's that's a tough angle.
From where we're at. He stepped on somebody, Yeah, but
I mean, if it's an angle sprain, he's out. I
would guess my assumptions four to six weeks. Oh, I
don't know. I don't know.

Speaker 3 (06:51):
Yeah, anyway, just play on the radio. I've got something
you need to look at. Yeah, you're ankle, Yeah, you're ankle.

Speaker 2 (06:59):
Yeah, there was.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Something that I wanted to ask you about something. Oh,
Chris Paul, Chris Paul. I don't know if you have
to breaking Yeah, I don't. I mean Chris Paul, so
he he's I guess he's a penny ass and he's
rightly so he's a long time that he could say.
He bring him on teams to be a leader. I'm
sure you've had teammates or have you had teammates? That
was my question where they're not so much brought on,
but they're brought on to be kind of like the guy,

(07:23):
and then it turns out to be, oh god, why
did we bring him in here?

Speaker 2 (07:26):
I don't know if they brought Chris Paul on to
be the guy. I think they brought him in to
be a clubhouse guy. Yeah, bringing the youth. I think
he doesn't feel that he's at the end of his
career probably, and that's a if you don't know that
going into a situation, that's a tough situation. Have you
had those guys? Oh yeah, and it's a tough situation. Yeah, yeah, yeah, No, it's.

Speaker 3 (07:43):
I don't want to say cancerous, but it's it's it's difficult, yeah,
because you now you're separating yourself.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
You're I mean you start to now get yourself into clicks,
and it's just not a good clubhouse thing.

Speaker 3 (07:53):
Yeah, even with a short roster, you know, fifteen sixteen guys.

Speaker 2 (07:56):
Yeah then, and I don't know how great that clubhouse
is anyway. Without him, they're not any good. Yeah, you know.
I mean it's another situation where you don't have guys
playing every single game, and you know, I don't know
how well Hardened plays with others, and it's that's a
whole different scenario.

Speaker 6 (08:12):
So, I mean five and sixteen, there's obviously something wrong
in LA and it's.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Lakers with talent too perceived talent, yeah, I mean on
paper yeah, right, have you been on those teams too, well,
you've had paper talent, but not real life talent.

Speaker 2 (08:27):
I've been pretty fortunate not to have that. We've always had.
We've always done pretty well on our teams, all the
teams I've played on before. Okay, but chemistry is an issue.
Chemistry is always an issue.

Speaker 6 (08:37):
But you figure it out, you don't, I mean sometimes
you don't, Like think about two years ago, Arizona got
lucky that no, Feta just did a terrific job. I
don't know if that same team goes nine and ten
and three with the Laura at quarterbacks.

Speaker 3 (08:51):
Oh yeah, I'll say no, I'll say no. But they
found a way, right, and they played hard. I still
think they played hard, harder for no. Yeah, I mean
I just can't say enough. What's what Brennan's been able
to do and that coaching staff alone. The question is
do they retain the coaching staff?

Speaker 2 (09:10):
I think so.

Speaker 3 (09:10):
I think so because you know who's out there to
where to go. Although there's a lot of openings.

Speaker 2 (09:17):
I mean, one, what do you think.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
Daigi could have a shot at a job like the
North Texas? Yeah, that's been job. You just don't know
if the right money's offered. We've seen it. We saw
it with Lane Kiffin. Yeah, but you saw it because
you see it all the time with Lane Kiffin. Okay,
never stays in the place for more than five years
or four years.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Right, right, and you think it's strictly money. I was
just having so much money that you don't care about
it anymore.

Speaker 2 (09:43):
It's a question that we ask imposed all the time.
Where I mean, you look at how many Mark Fus
are out there right where you just get in a
situation and you're comfortable in that situation, you can win
in that situation. Why test it? And it doesn't. It
usually doesn't work out for most coaches. When you look
at the rich Rod situation, I mean, they're a long
line someone that's football. But obviously there's a lot of

(10:03):
those situations. I don't know. I mean with Kiffin, I
feel like you could win a national championship at all
miss I mean with what they've been able to do
this year.

Speaker 3 (10:12):
Well, you lived it, you lived it. How old are
you for for three? Again, we don't need to throw numbers.

Speaker 4 (10:18):
It's not you.

Speaker 3 (10:21):
Get your dad on the phone, because he lived it
with k Smith, Larry, he was doing really well here,
succeeding successful, and then he jumped ship to a place
that he has a better chance to win the national title, right,
and that's legit, right? Yeah, So I think, don't you
think that lane has a better chance of winning in
the national table l SHU than it does in Mississippi?

Speaker 2 (10:43):
I mean, I don't. That's that's a good question. I
don't know.

Speaker 6 (10:46):
I mean, what's wrong with one? No, I don't you
said better chance? I think it's equal or less than
that's going to be in so much expectations if if,
if Lane Kiffin has a nine to three season at LSU,
that is a disappointing year at Ole Miss.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
You know what, that's a pretty dang good year. The
expectation and I mean just a loan from what's going through,
what's happened so far with the governor getting involved, and
that that's so much pressure on your back. Well, maybe
you can handle it. I'm not saying you can't.

Speaker 3 (11:18):
I just did we have that here with the president
of the university. The ad was kind of like the
A D but not really a D.

Speaker 2 (11:24):
You don't say, but you're not directly hiring or involved
in hiring a coach who I mean the governor Louisiana
is directly involved.

Speaker 3 (11:33):
Yeah, but he wanted the bet I don't know. You're right, Yeah, yeah,
would not named Satan, Yeah, okay, in the field, might
it might be, but yeah, yeah, if you ask me
the question, yes, because who.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Else would you want? That's the question that I'm asking
you guys.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
Yeah, No, I would say, yes, I wanted to win
a national title. I'm going after him. If I have
deep pockets and whatever, I'm going after him, and they're
gonna pay Their players are crazy too, so you know
they're gonna get talent. Oh, they have the money to
right exactly. Why do you think Jay Johnson left and
you know the situation better than me.

Speaker 2 (12:08):
Yeah, he left for that same stary. They took the
Minnesota's pitching. They took Minnesota Twins pitching coach mid season
right and paid him more. Took him off a big
league coaching staff to a college coaching staff, and paid
him double of what he was making in the major leagues. Yeah,
that's ridiculous. So do you know they want to win? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (12:27):
Well, okay, we got about two minutes, got to it's okay,
so we exhausted that one. I think we just go
dead air?

Speaker 2 (12:34):
Did there? We could go too a minute, go to commercial.
Let's go to commercial. Get aholder? Is he calling us?

on the ball with Steve Rivera on Box sportsporteen fifty eight.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Well, welcome back to us. About here a Fox.

Speaker 3 (17:32):
Sports Sports and fifty of Steve Rivera. Here, Blake, you're
what Kenzie here too. We're trying to get ahold of
Wyatt from the PBR. We're having issues in the new
studio with a new old studio, so.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
We got it in a better studio because it's not
freezing cold, but the phone lines don't work, so a
good trade off. I was shocked as you maybe we
can just text back and forth and then ask him
the questions, Yes, tex them, and we can have one
acted out. Okay, I'm trying to reach him now.

Speaker 3 (18:01):
I was interested to hear that because if we move
back tomorrow, maybe we move him back tomorrow. I don't
know to are you there? Hello, Nope, Nope, it's not working,
darn it, darn it. I wonder if he's next door.
Maybe we can switch to a commercial and call back
after the second segment. We'll see. Okay, we'll try to

(18:22):
get back to you in about ten minutes. If that's fine,
Maybe get him in the second segment. Yeah, let's switch switch. Yeah,
we can work if he's going to be there. Okay, Well,
go ahead and continue our discussion. I was really cooderwarmed
to it. We still might happen. Football. Are you impressed
with what they've done?

Speaker 2 (18:38):
Yeah? Extremely impressed. Especially I mean one had, you know,
hit the nail on the head, and we were actually
a little bit low on.

Speaker 3 (18:43):
It, right. No, No, I know everybody. I asked this
to Michael Love yesterday. Is this a good football team?
Oh wait wait, is this a good very good football team?

Speaker 2 (18:54):
Yes? Very good football, very good football. That makes them
very good. I mean I think they made adjustments in game,
and then then you watch the growth over the season
and the capability of what they were able to do
throughout November. Right, I mean you went went fifteen to
oh between women and men's basketball and football. Yeah, that's
a pretty impressive streak. And they won five in a row. No,
it's good to be a Wildcat, there's no absolutely. But
I think the way they won and the way they

(19:15):
competed against everybody else, But yeah, I thought they did
a great job there.

Speaker 3 (19:19):
So yeah, they're calling me on the phone, okay, and
it's dead air, which is bad.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
But when we're talking about I mean, we're talking about
culture with that team, right, it feels like they want
to play for each other and they want to play
for the coaching staff.

Speaker 3 (19:35):
That's hard to find, no, no question, Ye, no question.
And it could have easily crumbled after the Houston game. Yeah,
and it did didn't And it didn't. I mean I think,
and I said this, uh uh yesterday and I wrote
about it last Friday, was that uh that they could
have that that helped them, That that helped them. They
proved that they could play with these guys, how good

(19:55):
they were whatever back to back games, they just didn't win,
and then they come cut fire, worked hard and figured
it out.

Speaker 2 (20:02):
Yeah. I mean, if you're looking at the game, especially
like ASU, like the halftime adjustments they made to come
back in that second half, both on defense and offense. Right,
I mean, they were in the red zone, quite have
been that first they missed. They had some missed opportunities.
But the defense, I mean was unbelievable. It could have
been more, the margin could have been much. Yeah. So
I mean, I'm just I'm blown away with how well
the group's done. And it's exciting. It's really exciting, no,

(20:26):
as it should be. The sad thing is a lot
of people didn't see them play. Yeah, that is a
sad thing. I was talking to my cousin about it
because you know, I've told you this, I've said on
there that I'm not a big college football guy. They've
changed that, this team has changed that where I'm like
on Saturdays, I'm watching college football like I'm trying to
keep up and make sure I'm engaged in understanding it.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
Can give Kenzie that microphone real quick. Kensey, you went
to Alabama. You've been here a couple of years now, right,
you go to Wyoming games.

Speaker 7 (20:54):
Yeah, I used to way, So what what do.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
You think Arizona's missing?

Speaker 3 (20:58):
And the Alabama's an extreme right because you had one
hundred and two thousand people there. Wyoming is whatever, that
is twenty five thousand. So if you had a suggestion,
hadn't been to these places, what is Arizona missing the
games to get people excited?

Speaker 2 (21:14):
I think there's just.

Speaker 7 (21:14):
A loyalty factor that comes with Wyoming and Alabama. I
kind of can see a similarity between those two schools.
Wyoming is so small, so I think that's our only team.
A lot of people are drawn there. We don't really
have any other options, right, and then Alabama's just a
force to be reckoned with every single season. They go
through coaching changes now and then after Nick Saban. But

(21:37):
I think Arizona just needs to create.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
More of a.

Speaker 7 (21:43):
More of a dynamic where fans can relate to the
coaching staff, where they feel comfortable that Arizona can get
the win day in day out, And I think Brennan
and the coaching staff is working towards that right now,
and I think they're doing a lot better job than
maybe a lot of people expected at the beginning of
the season. In and I think this it could carry
on to next season as well.

Speaker 3 (22:03):
What about the atmosphere, what about the stuff to do
before the games? Yeah?

Speaker 7 (22:07):
I think tail getting is something that Tucson has been
missing for a while, and I hope that that can
kind of come back. I think getting to the game
a couple hours before something you can do in both
Alabama and Wyoming kind of get excited about the game
and then that makes everybody want to stay for the
whole thing.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
And but they have that, they have tailgating. But is
there something special about I get the Wayoming things.

Speaker 2 (22:30):
It's community.

Speaker 3 (22:30):
What else are you gonna do besides go cheer your
home state? Right, Alabama? Kind of the same way you're
gonna win. Possibly you're gonna be this team, uh, this
great team here is there's gotta be more song and dance,
I think, or something.

Speaker 2 (22:43):
I don't know, it's missing.

Speaker 3 (22:45):
What did you did you go to Alabama a month
or so ago and say, wow, this is cool?

Speaker 1 (22:50):
Yeah?

Speaker 7 (22:51):
I just think the culture there's there's different. It's different.
There's a lot of history.

Speaker 3 (22:56):
Hello you there thought, Yes, yes, we've been winning. No,
you got him, we're here.

Speaker 2 (23:02):
Okay, perfect, I'll get you emerging with Wyatt. Thank you? Yep,
all right, there you go, Wyatt. How are you doing?

Speaker 4 (23:14):
I'm doing good?

Speaker 2 (23:14):
How are you?

Speaker 3 (23:15):
This is like, this is like riding a bull for us.
I don't know if it's gonna work here we are. Hey, hey,
heck of a way to make a living there?

Speaker 2 (23:23):
White? What are you thinking?

Speaker 4 (23:26):
Nothing?

Speaker 8 (23:26):
This is just living out the dream. This is what
I wanted to do ever since I was two years
old and watched.

Speaker 4 (23:31):
It on TV.

Speaker 8 (23:31):
And you get to actually live out my dream is
something not many people get to do.

Speaker 4 (23:35):
And I get to show up every day for a job.

Speaker 2 (23:38):
I love. White. What age were you when you knew
this was a direction that you wanted to go with
your career?

Speaker 8 (23:44):
They said, both my parents grew up in rodeo, So
when I was in my mom's belly, I was going
to rodeos and stuff.

Speaker 4 (23:50):
And they said.

Speaker 8 (23:51):
Even when I was a baby, I would sleep through
all the other rodeo events and I'd wake up for
bull riding, and like that was the one that I
wanted to watch from an early early age.

Speaker 4 (23:59):
And so that's just chased that dream ever since.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
So where did you grow up?

Speaker 8 (24:04):
Northeast Oklahoma in a town, A small town called leech
like you had one hundred people to his name. We
didn't have a post office, so like you will not
find that on any of my.

Speaker 4 (24:13):
Stats or records of living.

Speaker 3 (24:16):
So did you have a farm? Did your parents have
a farm for you? How did you prepare?

Speaker 8 (24:20):
Yeah, we had a small forty acre farm that we
ran some cattle and sheep and horses on and just
grew up going to practice pens and junior audios and
onto the professional ranks as soon as I turned eighteen.
And now we've been at it for ten years professionally.

Speaker 2 (24:35):
Seems like a crazy situation.

Speaker 3 (24:37):
Ever, how can I say this, We'll go and get
hurt one and say I've had enough of this.

Speaker 4 (24:46):
I just love this game, and like I'm not ready
to give it up.

Speaker 8 (24:49):
I haven't accomplished everything that I'm willing to accomplish, and
I feel like I can.

Speaker 4 (24:54):
And injuries are part of the game.

Speaker 8 (24:56):
We all know that I broke my lower right leg
and three different places to hear all the laguments of
my ankle. I got a bad hip right now, I
got a torn labor them in my hip and multiple
knee injuries. And it's just part of the game and
just about getting back to riding as soon as possible.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
It's like called Tuesday. Yeah, I know it. So take
us through your path of when this became a reality
for you, when you knew there was a chance, not
when you want to do it, but then was actual
chance that you could make a living doing this.

Speaker 8 (25:31):
And I'm a realistic person, and I felt like at
a very early age I was willing to put in
the work and it was not going to keep me
from doing this and making it a real dream. So like,
I never really doubted myself, even from the fact that
probably like ten eleven years old when I started getting
on bulls, like I'm ahead of all the other children
my age, Like I know I can do this if

(25:52):
I just take care of my body and I don't
go too fast at getting on bulls above my level.

Speaker 3 (25:59):
So what would you One of the reasons why we
have you on is so they're coming down to town
here at the TCC right the December.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Fourteenth, nineteenth and twentieth, nineteenth and twentieth.

Speaker 3 (26:09):
Are you going to be part of it? Are you
too injured not to play?

Speaker 8 (26:13):
No, I'm fully healthy this year and it actually feels nice.
I've took a little break away.

Speaker 4 (26:18):
From the TVR and got it healthy and.

Speaker 8 (26:20):
I'm excited to start this next twenty twenty sixth season
And this will be my third year back to Tucson
in a row, and I'm just excited to come back.

Speaker 3 (26:29):
No, I mean I'm going to try to get there
because I know what's fun. We go to the rodeos here.
I'm sure you did one. I don't know if you
want to, Yeah, I want I ever tell you.

Speaker 4 (26:36):
Oh yeah, I've been. I've been multiple times in February
to the rodeo.

Speaker 2 (26:40):
Oh yeah, great. So, I mean it's one of the
most exciting things I've ever seen in live Yeah, I mean,
point blank, it's amazing. So if you don't have the
chance to get out, if you do have the chance
to get strictly bull writing right, strictly bull riding, and
it's completely Yeah.

Speaker 8 (26:53):
You'll see the best forty the best forty bull writers
versus the best forty bulls and it'll be a two
hour of NonStop action and production.

Speaker 3 (27:01):
Yeah, it's wild. We'll go together. No, I want to go.
It sounds like a lot of fun. Do we have
a take one? Yeah, we definitely have the why why when?

Speaker 2 (27:12):
What's the what's the best place and we'll we'll, we'll,
we'll take two soon on the mix. What's the best
place that you've rode bulls in crowd? From a crowd
standpoint and both from just an atmosphere's standpoint.

Speaker 8 (27:23):
Uh, nothing beats riding in front of my hometown crowd.
Sorry to Tucson fans and stuff. But when I get
it to chance to ride it Tulsa's PBR and or
Oklahoma City, like, it's just unique. It only comes around
once a year, and it's unbelievable because I I or
my family and friends, they don't get to go watch
me very much anymore because I'm all across the country.

Speaker 4 (27:43):
So whenever they actually get to.

Speaker 8 (27:44):
Go, just I guess the meaning behind it, and I
feel like it's louder for me specifically, and it makes
my heart kind of jump, you know.

Speaker 2 (27:55):
Oh, very cool. So what do your parents think about? Yeah,
I'm guessing they're both still around, and if they are,
what do they think about this career choice for you
at this time in your life.

Speaker 8 (28:07):
Unfortunately, my dad passed away in twenty fourteen, but this
was just the ultimate dream and he worked three jobs
growing up to make sure that I could go to
rodeos and follow that dream. And the same with my mom.
She worked two jobs and they were both just very
dedicated to helping me live out the dream that I
wanted to chase. Whether they knew it was going to

(28:28):
work out or not, I don't know, but hopefully I'm
making them proud and day by day, I just want
to be a better man.

Speaker 2 (28:34):
That question is a good question.

Speaker 3 (28:35):
Let me say this, because I get to do the
only thing I've ever ever wanted to do well. I
think you were able to do the thing that you
ever wanted to do, right, play pro baseball. And how
many people get to do what they've only wanted to
do all the whole life.

Speaker 2 (28:48):
You get to do that. It has to me like
one in a million.

Speaker 4 (28:51):
I don't know what the specific odds would be, but
it feels I get out.

Speaker 3 (28:55):
Yeah, no, no question. So have you ever thought of
doing other things? I was gonna ask, Yeah, go ahead,
other things? Not in real life?

Speaker 8 (29:05):
Yes? I mean I grew up roping and steer wrestling
and uh doing that throughout college and I got a
college degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State and went on a
full ride for Rodeo and so I grew up with
a rope and that's what my family always did in rodeo,
was the roping and steer wrestling. So they kind of
pushed me for that, and they kind of wanted me
to give up the bull riding, but they saw it

(29:26):
was hard headed and not going to give it up,
and so this is what I wanted to do.

Speaker 3 (29:31):
So are you sound like you're maybe twenty five, twenty six?
How old are you? Thirty two, thirty two? I just
turned twenty nine, twenty nine, Okay, so close. That was
your guest with twenty nine.

Speaker 4 (29:42):
Just take just take the middle of y'all.

Speaker 3 (29:44):
Guess what's the what's the life span of a bull rider?
You're not like a running back for an NFL, so
you have a littki of some time.

Speaker 8 (29:51):
No, I'm definitely on my venture in side of the
locker room and the end of my career. Uh, I'll
do it as long as I love it and can
he can continue to do it there. I mean, there's
factors that could come into play in the future as
far as getting a wife and kids and you know,
wanting to stay home more and you never know what

(30:14):
opportunities in life will bring you in your path.

Speaker 3 (30:17):
So I've covered the rodeo here many many years ago,
and I still remember a lead. He's the Tim Urray
of something, right, so so the Michael Jordan of whatever?
Who's the Are you the Timurray of bull writing or
who is?

Speaker 8 (30:32):
I'm gonna say Joe's a v tour. Limay is definitely
the goat of bull riding right now. He's a three
time world champ. He's the only bullwriter to break eight
million dollars in his career earnings, and he still has
multiple years left and it's just going to continue to grow.
And he's an absolute machine and it's like a robot

(30:52):
out there.

Speaker 2 (30:53):
So he's Brazilian, right right, Yes, sir? Yeah, So do
you guys get to go? I know the it's such
a large sport in Brazil and a lot of the
bull riders are from Brazil. Do you guys get a
chance to go to Brazil to do any pbor events?

Speaker 8 (31:07):
I've been in talk to about going down there in
July and August that's when they're really big events are
going on and they love for the Americans to come
down there, and I just situations I haven't got to
go yet, and definitely looking forward to doing that before
the end of my career.

Speaker 2 (31:22):
So you said forty bulls, right, forty guys? Is that
how it is? Yeah?

Speaker 8 (31:26):
So yes, there on Friday night at eight pm and
Saturday at seven pm.

Speaker 2 (31:30):
And they're all competed against each other, right.

Speaker 8 (31:33):
Yeah, Ideally it's just me versus the bull and the judge.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
We have judges at the judge sport.

Speaker 8 (31:38):
You can score up to one hundred points and they'll
handle their job. I just got to worry about staying
on three bulls, and that'll give myself a chance to win.

Speaker 3 (31:45):
Yeah, And how many attempts do you get make it
in these two days?

Speaker 4 (31:49):
I'm guaranteed one on Friday night and one on Saturday night.
If I am doing good.

Speaker 8 (31:53):
They add the two scores up and the top ten
riders out of the forty get to get on a
third ball and what we call the Championship round and
that's where you'll see the Winter Crown for the only
event on Saturday night.

Speaker 2 (32:05):
What a life. It's a blast, honestly, it's yeah. No,
I would never get on both. So do you have
a sponsor?

Speaker 8 (32:12):
You have you must have sponsors, yes, or a lot
of a ranch in the bull team's only. Uh I,
that's my main sponsor. Then I have some uh just
smaller sponsors around the house in Oklahoma and stuff that
they have my back and support me and I couldn't
do it without them.

Speaker 2 (32:30):
Oh, very cool.

Speaker 3 (32:31):
I guess you've done it so many times. You know
how many times you've been on the book competitively? Probably
too many into counter or maybe you have the stats
on top of your head.

Speaker 4 (32:40):
Uh I, I don't know. I have no idea.

Speaker 8 (32:43):
Honestly, I average get I average getting on about one
hundred and twenty five bulls a year year, okay, and
that's that's now that when I was younger, I probably
doubled that.

Speaker 3 (32:52):
So let me ask you, so, one hundred and twenty
five a year, do you know, like when you got
a ten or you gotta not? Did you know you
feel it? Of the sworn twenty five? How many times
have you said, God, that was great and how it
felt great.

Speaker 8 (33:05):
I like to think that I have a good riding
percentage ride maybe forty percent of your bulls.

Speaker 4 (33:10):
It's kind of like baseball. You can go three for
ten and you're gonna be one of the.

Speaker 2 (33:12):
Best in the world. That's that's good number.

Speaker 4 (33:15):
If you're competing against the highest level bulls.

Speaker 2 (33:18):
Why what's your off season? Like, what's your off season
routine as a pro athlete. I know that's your downtime,
but how do you what's your off season look like?
And when do you start building back up to actually
participating in the events.

Speaker 8 (33:30):
So bull riding is unique. We actually don't have a
real off season. We might have a week off for
Thanksgiving and a week off for Christmas and that might
be it for the whole year.

Speaker 2 (33:40):
Oh man, you guys are going go go the whole
year round. This is incredible? Is serious?

Speaker 4 (33:45):
Yeah?

Speaker 8 (33:46):
I mean we're just not we if we're sitting at home,
we don't make any money. And this is how most
of us support our families and our livings. And we're
not guaranteed contracts or anything like that. So we have
to be on the road and go into support our family.

Speaker 3 (34:00):
So we're gonna go a little extra one. So do
you have a family? You have a little junior there?

Speaker 4 (34:05):
Nope? Nope? Uh, single and no kids.

Speaker 5 (34:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (34:10):
The reason I asked is would you advise a little
junior to get into the business.

Speaker 4 (34:15):
Whatever my kid wants to do, I will more than.

Speaker 8 (34:17):
Happily support whether it's riding bulls or playing baseball or
golf or whatever it is. My parents were they My
parents supported my dream. They didn't push me for anything.
They kind of laid it out as I was growing
up because I love playing baseball, basketball, football, But there
are certain times where you had to choose which one
you wanted to do more, and mine was always radio.

Speaker 3 (34:40):
My last question, is there a secret to be being
a pretty good bull writer? And I say that because
I wouldn't mess with wrestlers. Wrestlers are tough, tough dudes.
I wouldn't mess with bull riders because they're tough dudes.
You can hit them and they're gonna give back up.
So is there a secret to being a good one?

Speaker 8 (34:56):
Having a strong core and great balance them two things
are the most important things for a bull rider, and
that helps give you a second chance and to stay
on the bull when you might make a mistake.

Speaker 3 (35:07):
And well if you if you don't have a job
after this, come and be uh, this guy's bodyguard.

Speaker 2 (35:14):
He needs a bodyguard. Why do I have enemies out there?
Probably you don't know of No, I would take that.
Why we always said as a baseball player, we would
never fight our group, Like you know, you go out
and you have drinks, and yeah, people get in certain situations,
but the two groups that we would never fight is
bull riders and hockey players. So I commend you for
everything that you do and the toughness that you have

(35:35):
to go in day and day out, and the fact
that we know now that you have to earn a
living because you have nobody, you know, no guaranteed contract.
It's really impressive what you're doing out there. White.

Speaker 4 (35:45):
Well, thank you. I appreciate that.

Speaker 3 (35:46):
Yeah, so you got three new fans. We're gonna go
see you in two three weeks?

Speaker 2 (35:50):
Why not four?

Speaker 4 (35:50):
Well four?

Speaker 3 (35:51):
Yeah, yeah, we have four Kenzie's from Wyoming. She sees
us like every other yea. So yeah, no, we're gonna
go and see you.

Speaker 4 (35:58):
Perfect, can't waite.

Speaker 2 (35:59):
See all there.

Speaker 3 (36:00):
We'll get Steve up on a bowl, hold a strong core.
I'm here for Wyatt my T shirt. I don't get shirt.
Thanks Wyatt.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
Appreciate you it.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Yea.

Speaker 3 (36:10):
A couple of weeks that was that was cool. I
would never ever do that ever.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
Flight of Spiders Yeah, but I mean, I'm telling you
right now, it's probably my favorite sport to watch. Oh
I'm sure. Yeah, I mean it was unbelievable. So yeah,
just to I just want to reiterate, it's December nineteenth
to the twentieth. That Friday is seven pm, and the
Saturday or sorry seven Friday is eight pm. Saturday is
seven pm.

Speaker 6 (36:31):
Okay, cool, is there a game? There's twenty twentieth is
the San Diego State.

Speaker 2 (36:37):
Oh so maybe Friday night we can get up there.

Speaker 3 (36:40):
Yeah, Friday, I'll be you. Yeah, I'll be That sounds
like a lot of fun. Yeah, yeah, we'll do that. Kenzie,
if you're not doing anything, come with the guys. All right,
I'm sure you've been to a few in Wyoming.

Speaker 7 (36:50):
Actually, so I grew up in Cheyenne and we have
the largest outdoor rodeo in the whole world. Right, so
I did grow up around a lot of that kind
of stuff. I remember, like my friend when I was
a little with Mutton buzzed.

Speaker 2 (37:01):
Yeah, yeah, it's crazy. That's where that craziness starts.

Speaker 7 (37:05):
No exactly, that's where the fire starts for them. But yeah,
it's pretty cool. Rodeos are cool.

Speaker 4 (37:11):
Environment coad.

Speaker 3 (37:12):
Okay, we know what we're doing that nineteenth, perfect that Friday.
Thanks everybody, we'll come back on the other side.

there's amount of money. Let's be honest. There's an amount
of money. But I don't ride horses either, Like for
that reason, I don't write X amount of money to
do what he's doing bull riding. Yeah, no, no way,
I would do it for a er amounts amount. I

(41:34):
really don't know where where I would put that mark.
But well, he's two hundred dollars. I mean, to be honest.

Speaker 6 (41:45):
It two hundred bucks automatic or a twundred bucks? If
I'm getting second, I'm gonna pay you.

Speaker 3 (41:49):
I will pay you two hundred dollars if we can
go get we're gonna get one on a ball. I'll
pay you two hundred dollars right now if we go
get one on a ball.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
Recent graduate with no job. Yeah, perfect, there's money. Sign
me up.

Speaker 3 (42:02):
Listen, if you stay on longer than three seconds on
kicking the next we'll call it fifty bucks.

Speaker 2 (42:08):
Right, it's perfect. I can set it up. Oh perfect. Wait,
wait time about PDA. Check with your mom first, because
this is kind of dangerous. Are you sure? Because I
would have set it up, she'd probably be there recording.

Speaker 3 (42:21):
This is funny because we talked about this with free
throw shooting or whatever.

Speaker 2 (42:24):
The hell couple disitions this and want to try to
tell me beat me up one on one. I'm not
telling you. I'm speaking facts here. You're not. I would
destroy you and what I want? Three point last Sunday.

Speaker 6 (42:38):
You're playing in the league now it plays on Sundays
for fun with some friends.

Speaker 2 (42:41):
Oh yeah, I never left on the show. I am laughing. Yeah, okay,
so for sure, you're you're on record right now. If
I pay you two hundred dollars, you're gonna get on
a bull and ride it.

Speaker 3 (42:52):
Why not December nineteenth. Welcome to the TCC. We have
people coming from the stands. One from the stands.

Speaker 2 (43:00):
Texting that ball guy right now. You know, I know
you can have set it up at the end of
the day. It's all a bunch of bull that's since
we try to set that up for Yeah, okay, no,
that'll be fun. You have no instruser here. I hope
your parents are still Yeah, we got to think this
through a little bit. Are you still under your mom
and dad's insurance?

Speaker 6 (43:18):
Why are we talking about I mean, I am I
getting on a bowl and he's got three seconds for
two fifty.

Speaker 2 (43:27):
We got to sign waivers because I'm not liable for
anything that happens on that ball dude.

Speaker 5 (43:31):
You know why?

Speaker 2 (43:31):
No, Seriously, he's unemployed. Fine, maybe it's not a great decision,
but it would be great. It would be great content
for us to gather.

Speaker 3 (43:38):
Yeah, Michael Viral, and you find a job from this
more challenging the one challenge.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
We'll invite everybody out on side bets. I don't know
if that's legal or not. We'll get a booky out
there if it's not, uh, and we'll we'll go fifty
to fifty right, Okay, perfect.

Speaker 3 (43:56):
No, good, good to talk to him. That's one of
the weird jobs that we've had on the show. Weird
but courageous.

Speaker 2 (44:02):
I wanted to talk to him, and I forgot to
ask what the circuit's like when you're an amateur, Like
what your schedule is on the rodeo circuit and how
difficult it is still trying to go to school, and
I mean it's got to be a lot to take on.
Well he's going on a full ride too. Yeah, but
you had to go on the circuit before you went
to as an amateur. You're talking his youth, you know.
Let's see fourteenth, fourteenth in the league. Here's the shot.

(44:26):
Here's the shocker. How much as you made? Ten thousand? Yeah,
but the season just started, Oh did it? Yeah? I
don't think it started that long.

Speaker 3 (44:33):
Okay, Well, another guy makes one hundred and ten hundred
and sixteen, I believe, Wow.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
And one's going to make two hundred bucks easy, that's right.
Two hundred and fifty is mine. Let me tell you
some get it in cash right up front, because who knows. Yeah,
as I'm getting on the ball, oh yeah, one hundred percent. Yeah,
I'll throw it at you, I'll make it rain. It's
going to be all in dollars talking about two shows here.

Speaker 3 (45:04):
Yeah, okay, no, so we're gonna be there nineteenth. Also
the twentieth they played San Diego State that next day, Yes,
in Phoenix, so we won't be with that. Are you
gonna go up to Phoenix something to do?

Speaker 2 (45:13):
Yeah?

Speaker 6 (45:13):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that's that's at eight thirty. So at
the same time, Oh, do they it's in that late game.

Speaker 2 (45:21):
Yeah, it's the games. Are you going?

Speaker 3 (45:23):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (45:23):
Yeah, we're okay, So I think I'm gonna go. I
don't know.

Speaker 3 (45:26):
I shouldnt say yea, yeah, yea until I know the crowd.
The crowd last time when they went to Phoenix, I
think they played Alabama.

Speaker 2 (45:31):
Didn't they there last year?

Speaker 3 (45:33):
When did they play Alabama? I think about two years ago.
We went to this whole two or three years ago. Okay, God, sorry, I.

Speaker 2 (45:39):
Think it was. It was the year before Indiana and
I believe, yeah, right in Vegas. So four years ago, no, Alabama? No, No,
was it after? It was after. I just had this
conversation because I was at both those games. I thought Alabama.

Speaker 6 (45:53):
What I do remember in the Phoenix game with Alabama
is that Colin Boswell didn't have a great and that
was the point of conversation the following days.

Speaker 3 (46:04):
Yeah, who do you think of Did you see tonight
last night's games? Yes, so Florida Florida. I wouldn't see them.

Speaker 2 (46:09):
I saw the results.

Speaker 3 (46:10):
Florida played Duke pretty well at Duke had him on
the ropes and then they lost it.

Speaker 5 (46:15):
Uh.

Speaker 3 (46:15):
And there were some questions whether Arizona's victory over Florida
meant anything because they got beat by TCU. By TCU
so kind of watered it down. But they shown thing
with a yeah right right and Yukon did they win
last night? You said, okay, so they did. Into pinting,
so she went, there's so many good teams. And I
wrote that story, asked Tommy about it and he kind
of said, did.

Speaker 2 (46:35):
You see the quote? Yeah, I read your article.

Speaker 3 (46:37):
Yeah, so he's everyone has that worthy victory year two,
and everybody's going to be worthy this year.

Speaker 2 (46:43):
Michigan. You can make a better case for this team
in the country than Michigan.

Speaker 3 (46:47):
Yeah, right, right right now, Arizona's in the mix. Michigan
stateius in the mix. Think about what Michigan was able
to do, not just win those games unheard of. I mean,
you're beating Gonzaga by forty another teams about fifty. Yeah yeah,
something like that in San Diego State by thirty five
or forty.

Speaker 2 (47:05):
But my advice to everybody, what happens in November stays
in November. Isn't that you're slogan, That's what you got
tattooed on your back, right, Yes, that's why you're always
in Vegas in November. Hey, I got Steve to laught
twice ago. There you go, look at that.

Speaker 4 (47:23):
He's on fire.

Speaker 2 (47:24):
I mean, I mean, listen, November. November is a good
testament for fans just to see what the team looks like, right,
But it doesn't matter until you get into January and
February and yeah, no question. So there's got to and
I know you hate this, but one will understand you've
got to have some momentum going into March. You can't
just to get hot in one game and turn it around.
I don't.

Speaker 3 (47:41):
I've seen many a team have momentum going too much
and at nothing, but on the flip side, sometimes it
has meant something. On the flip side, yes, there was,
And everybody goes to these years ninety seven and eight
blah blah blah ninety seven, they had no momentum. Yeah
when they won a title because they caught fire. Caught fire,
I mean, that's what the things you have to do.

(48:01):
Catch fire.

Speaker 6 (48:02):
There's that, and then there's the years where they go
on the run of the Packed Off tournament and it's
a team off fire and they were number one, number two,
number three seeds, first round exit.

Speaker 3 (48:11):
Well do you remember with when they crushed everybody in
the pac twalve tournament with with Raley uh Alton Aiden,
I'm sorry, eid and and and they crushed everybody and
then the next game played a Buffalo and Buffalo and
that was a disaster.

Speaker 2 (48:28):
Yeah, and that gave that tournament, gave you hope. And
then four days later you're getting that was a strange
team because that team, on paper, you're going should be
an elite agent. Before the season started, everyone thought that
that may be there was on all time best team,
which which if you knew that wasn't the case, but no,
but was number You had a lot of good players

(48:49):
on that team, eighton who was number one, blah blah blah, uh,
but they didn't mix. They go to Bahamas and they
get their butt kicked. Games was on that team. Yeah,
and you're thinking, what the hell? And then the Sean
came back says, I don't know if I can get
these guys straight. Yeah, I don't know if they're gonna pay.

Speaker 3 (49:05):
He literally said, I don't I don't know if I
can get these guys to play for me, right, And
I wrote that story blah blah blah. He walked it
back a couple of three months ago home. Yeah, and
he didn't say things just to say things. No, no, no,
There was definitely a point of that, and it was
the year before with Laurie right marking it. And then
you get into that tree sixteen and truer and Marketing

(49:26):
doesn't touch the ball in the last what eight minutes.

Speaker 2 (49:27):
The best defender Marketing ever had was, which was wild
so and especially coming from Miller, who's a control freak
on both sides of the floor, to not drop and
maybe it's not him, but to not drop up drop
a specific play for Lauri Marketon. Yeah, anyway, what could
have been what should have been.

Speaker 6 (49:46):
Sometimes coaches just believe in a guy, yeah, and maybe
it's sometimes it's the wrong decision. It was probably the
wrong decision in that game. But yeah, then to happen
against his old team savior.

Speaker 2 (49:55):
Yeah, and I know you've said this, probably at nauseum
on the on the show, this team is different to me,
and I probably said that last year. But this when's
the last time you had a true closer at the
u A. That's a good question, the true closure. You
knew that there was a very good chance. Well, if
the ball was in his hands, how I would have said,

(50:17):
Mark Lyons, I didn't say, but he.

Speaker 3 (50:22):
Was your guy with the ball, and I'm glad you
clarified you right, Yeah, but Mathern would have been my
guy just recently, h and a good one. But you know,
his opportunities weren't what they were.

Speaker 2 (50:35):
But that was another good team too. You're talking about
I'm talking about by Yeah, they do. It's a he's
a different it's a different feel with him. Yeah, it's
a it's a secure feel with him. You remember in
ninety nine, how old are you in ninety nine? Ten? Ten?
And that's probably true. Don't laugh if you can't laugh
the first time we've been together. Yeah, she's laughing. That's

(50:57):
your math. That's fair. But Jason Terry did the same thing.
Oh yeah, take control when you had to take control.
And that's what I mean. We were arguing about that
back and forth with my wife on last game and
she's like, well, Bradley's not going to get going. It's
like he doesn't need to. You have other guys that
can fill that position. It doesn't feel like somebody has
to Like last year, in the year before was Caleb
Love Like you had to figure out a way to

(51:18):
get the ball in his hand. This year it's I'm
pretty comfortable with. Yeah, a myriad of guys on the
team to have the ball at that at that point,
you know your wife a little, but not much.

Speaker 3 (51:28):
That observation though, is is I think that what people
feel now if went in doubt.

Speaker 2 (51:33):
Yeah, go to Bradley. Yeah. Absolutely, that's not a safe thing. No,
it's not a safe thing.

Speaker 1 (51:37):
No it is.

Speaker 2 (51:38):
I mean, it's just I also think that Pete is
a different, different difference maker. But I love what you
have in Mo and Awaka as a combination. I don't
know how many people have that kind of front court
dynamic in the country, and now you're seeing them and
I think that was a big question last year with
Basar and a walk on the floor together. You're seeing

(52:00):
and a walk on the floor together, and they're they're
capable of they're finding each other, right, I mean it
was like the two bellas. You know, two bells will
always find ballo and vice versa. It's got a little
bit of that feel when a walk and mower on
the court together. Yeah.

Speaker 3 (52:13):
Well it's so good front court with Pete or two.
They're not going to play together that often, but they do. No, no, no,
I'm just it's it's nice that you don't feel like
it's a force. It's a force and lineup when they're
on the floor. Here's my thing that if Mo goes bad,
you have a walk in a fill in, Yeah, and
vice versa.

Speaker 2 (52:26):
Well we're talking about the last game. You could have
fed Mo the ball and every single he could have
finished with fifty points. Yeah, he was unstoppable. You just didn't.
You're you're looking at the scenario, right, Yeah, So same
thing with the waka walka. I mean, unbelievable. And they've
we talked about this. I think one they've done this
without Bury's really going off yet.

Speaker 12 (52:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (52:45):
Yeah, whether he will or not, I don't know, because
it's already a few games in, I think he's going
to you. You look at his play, his maturation process
as he goes through this and playing against that competition.
I have a lot of confidence in him, and I
think the question mark for me is Aristode, where you
know what the what's his development like? Because you see
him getting a year off last year essentially not playing

(53:05):
last year coming into this. You see the talent there.
He doesn't know how he's still he's still a little
hesitant on finishing at the rim right and if he's
his three point shots not on, he's got to figure
out some ways to score contribute. Okay, gotta go
