Speaker 1 (00:01):
Remember when it was impossible to misplace the TV remote
because you were the TV remote. Remember when music sounded
like this? You remember when social media was truly social?
Speaker 2 (00:17):
Hey, John, how's it going today? Well? This show is
all about you. This is fifty plus with Doug.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
Pike, Helpful information on your finances, good health, and what
to do for fun. Fifty plus brought to you by
the UT Health Houston Institute on Aging, Informed Decisions for
a healthier, happier life.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
And now fifty plus with Doug Pike.
Speaker 3 (00:45):
All right, here we go. Welcome to Wednesday and all
it brings to the talk table. And before anyone calls
me out on the omission, apparently yesterday was National Senior
Citizen's Day. Knew that? Huh? Who knew that? My hunch
is that not too many people in this audience knew
(01:06):
about it. There was no parade. I heard no mention
of it on the news anywhere, and I watched a
fair amount of news every day. It should have shown
up in some of the news feeds that I look
at online, but it didn't. So I say we celebrate belatedly.
(01:28):
Do something special for yourself today, whatever you want, and
maybe we'll get it right next year. It's all we
can hope, pop up showers for the afternoons, beautiful mostly
clear sky in the mornings, and still right on the
verge of my definition of hot, as though it were
some sort of plus. I guess the high for days
only supposed to be around and I wrapped only in
(01:49):
quotes only around ninety six, and the following six days
all are supposed to be south of ninety five. That's
not a lot to cheer about, but low nineties way
better than triple digit summer we had last year. What
do we have like a bunch of days in a row,
(02:09):
twenty thirty days in a row where it went north
of one hundred. That's hot, way too hot. And yes,
the tropics are blooming here. Toward the end of August,
Hurricane Aerin moving parallel to the East Coast, well offshore,
but close enough to be an issue with big waves,
which I don't know what the fascination is with big waves.
(02:31):
That's what happens in the ocean and what we get
along the shorelines, even the Atlantic shoreline, Atlantic Coast, the
Gulf Coast, the Pacific coast. There are much bigger waves
just kind of out in the middle of the ocean sometimes,
and there are actually some places where surfers go where
(02:53):
there are ridges far enough offshore that it takes a
while in a fast boat to get there, and that's
where the really big waves are. I saw some thing
this morning about It was a drone video of the
big waves coming into the Carolina coast, and I looked
(03:13):
at those big waves and thought to myself, nam Nazaree
comes to mind, where the bottom of the ocean and
conflicting currents all come together to create swells when the
conditions are just right that are sixty seventy, eighty ninety
even one hundred feet tall. It's over in Portugal. Go
(03:35):
look it up. It's a really cool thing. And people
are surfing there. They're crazy, but they are surfing those
giant waves and it's become quite the affair. They have
safety teams on jets keys all over the place, they
have drones, they have access to every possible emergency help
(03:56):
they could need when they have somebody in the water
over there. But it's pretty fascinating to watch these guys
come just zooming down the face of a wave that's
the height of a seven or eight story building. It's impressive.
Back to the tropics, Hurricane Aaron doing what I was
just talking about it doing is gonna be tidal surge
and rip currents and outer bands of thunderstorms, especially for
(04:18):
the Carolinas before that storm slides back to the east.
I've seen predictions of twenty foot waves, which is that's
cute when you're really talking about big waves, but it's
not that big. We've had twenty foot waves on the
Texas coast in the past, not up here because everything
kind of breaks way offshore because we're so shallow, but
(04:40):
down along the South Padre shoreline. I can't remember what
hurricane it was, but there is a photograph that I
have in my photos on my laptop that was taken
not by me, but by somebody else, and I've used
it as the example of perhaps the biggest wave ever
ridden in Texas. That's how it was built, and nobody's
ever come I'm along to say, no, there was one bigger,
(05:02):
so we're gonna go with that one. I can't remember
the guy's name who was on that wave, but he
was pretty well known dude, and of course he went
down there to surf those big waves. That's what big
wave guys do so, Aaron's gonna do a little dance
and get on out back over open water soon, go
back east if you have a place in Bermuda, and
(05:23):
who doesn't these days, right, it's gonna get wet for
sure out there in the open water. In the markets
all four down early, but only by fractions after the doubt.
Actually the doubt briefly tickled a new high yesterday. Oil
and Gold recovered some of their recent dips, and mortgage
rates seemed to be stuck in that six seven six'
(05:43):
eight slot somewhere in. There i'm checking this morning With
chris McGinley from Kirk holmes to see if some lower
RATES i saw this morning are. Legitimate saw him at
a different. Website that's what makes me kind of, curious
other than actually at some financial news and, MAN i
missed talking for. THEM i really do good, People AND
(06:04):
i love that hook that's kirk K u R. K
because at Kirk holmes it's all about. YOU i Bet
i've said THAT i don't know a thousand times on
the air over the. Years hoping to getting back. In
we've got some stuff coming up THAT i Think i'll
be able to participate. In And i'm looking forward to doing.
IT i miss speaking for. THEM i met his dad years.
(06:24):
Ago he was running the company When chris was much,
younger and now his dad's long since retired And is
has turned the reins over To, chris And chris is
doing a very good job of it speaking to PEOPLE i.
Trust really, quickly before we go to the, BREAK i
need to check in with my Buddy robert over At Vanderford.
Air that's his last, Name. Vanderford i've wanted to get
him on board for so. Long i've bought air conditioners from.
(06:46):
Them they do my check ups at, springing summer and all.
THAT i just had a guy out there about a
month ago AND i got some information from him that
there's a change coming In. January the rules on air
conditioning equipment are going to, change and you know what
happens when they change the, rules everything gets more. Expensive
SO i Think i'm going to cut a deal on
(07:08):
a new one Before. January we have two in the,
house one, upstairs one, downstairs and the downstairs one IS
i think it really wants to survive because we'd had
some trouble with it last year and we basically put
a band aid on, it and that band aid's held
up lock on wood all the way To august, twentieth
(07:29):
and hopefully a little bit. MORE i don't know IF
i want to trade that thing out just, yet BECAUSE
i don't really want to put those guys in that
attic when it's one hundred and twenty or one hundred
and thirty degrees IF i don't have. To so if we,
can we'll just muddle along with the one we've got
now and then just pat it on the back and
tell it thank you and goodbye when we have. To all,
(07:49):
right let's take a little break here speaking of Whether
Country boys. Roofing right in the middle of storm, season we,
are which means there is absolutely no time now to
get that roof of yours checked out By Country boys.
Roofing i've been talking With John, eiman the guy who
owns the, place about how how many little things can
be wrong with a roof that don't really show inside the.
(08:12):
House they don't really leak, yet but they're about, to
and if we get a, storm that's going to just
expose whatever that little thing is and maybe make it
a potentially worse. One by the, way he mentioned to me,
yesterday that there was some hal earlier in the week around.
Here i'm not sure exactly what part Of houston it fell,
in but there was. Hale and if you were in that,
(08:33):
area get them out there to make sure your roof
is ready in case we do get one of these
big spinners in The gulf that we don't. Want. Ever
country boys will never ask you for money, upfront which
a lot of ac companies or roof companies will. Do
they offer a. Fifth this is so good of him
to do. This, honestly he doesn't have to do. This
(08:54):
fifteen hundred dollars off a complete roof if you are,
military if you are a, teacher or if you are
a first. Responder anybody in that group gets that fifteen
hundred dollars off a complete. Roof and even if you're
not on that list at, all you can still get
a thousand off just for dropping my. Name you can't
(09:15):
stack the. Discounts i'm gonna tell you that every, time
because sometimes people are like. That you, Know i'm a
military man who Knows Doug. Pike, well, no you can't do.
That pick one you, like take the military when it's worth.
More Country boys roofing country with A, k boys with
A z or for the the boomers in our audience myself.
(09:35):
Included you can just spell it a traditional way countryboys
roofing dot com and it'll show up as. Well countryboysroofing
dot com aged to.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Perfection this is fifty plus With Doug. Pike all, right welcome,
Back thanks for listening to fifty. PLUS i certainly do appreciate.
Speaker 3 (09:53):
It On, Dougpike He's Will melbourne and we're gonna be
here till the top of the. Hour at the bottom
of the, hour by the, Way i'm gonna bring in
a guy Named Brent friends and you may not have
heard of, him but he cobbled together a while back
an app called The Death, clock and The Death clock
(10:15):
is it's more, entertaining and it's in its basic, state
it's more entertainment than anything. Else but you CAN i
think you can dig in a little. Deeper and we're
not gonna talk about, that by the. Way we're gonna
talk ABOUT ai and and how important it is on
the heels Of National Senior Citizen's, day which was yesterday
(10:35):
and we all forgot, it but we're gonna talk about
how important it is to use the tools we have,
now which includes a lot OF ai and to get
the regular checkups that seniors. NEEDED i got a. Hunt
he's talking for his parents. SOMEHOW i bet there's an
older relative in some, way shape or form involved in all.
This But i'm not gonna. Pry in any, Event let's
(10:59):
go back to know where we were and what we were.
Doing that's checked. Off that's checked. Off that's. Good diving
into the some of the juicy. Bits and one of
the things That i've been reading more and more about
and becoming just less and less impressed with things that
are going on in some of the cities in this.
Country there's been a lot of talk about juvenile crime,
(11:22):
lately especially in all the big major city where, prosecutors
especially if they're a left leaning, city which most of
the big ones. Are it's just straight up. True AND
i checked with some law enforcement people today too about
that that the prosecutors basically don't bother prosecuting most of
the teenagers who get. Arrested they're committing big boy. Crimes
(11:46):
but being turned loose like as if they just just
make us a promise that you'll try to do, better
which they. Don't they just become increasingly habitual criminals and professional.
CRIMINALS i asked a friend of, mine good friend who
WAS hpd and AN hpt TO d detective for many
(12:06):
many years in right exactly where detectives typically, work AND
i sent him a. Text because he was not in
a place where he had great cell phone, RECEPTIONS i
couldn't talk to, him BUT i just, said, approximately how
many crimes do these professional habitual criminals commit for everyone
(12:28):
that they're caught committing that they actually get charged for
or arrested. For And i'll read you his response because
it's pretty. Telling and that response was more than you could. Imagine, oh,
basically what's happening is these people are being caught and
(12:50):
they're being tossed out on either low bond or no
bond and then no showing and getting warrants out for their.
Arrest then when they get caught again and they kind
of get the same. Treatment just, remarkable just. Remarkable and
a lot of these younger people are doing that now,
too because they know they're going to get even more preferential. Treatment,
(13:10):
well speaking of In South, carolina this, week nine teenagers
arrested in connection to the death of a sixteen year
old boy whose girlfriend was mad at him and got
this whole bunch of pathetic little losers to lure him out,
somewhere and one of, them right in the heat of the,
argument just pulled out a gun and shot that poor
(13:32):
kid several times and left him to die in the
street while his girlfriend. Watched another kid recorded the, murder
which is really kind of going to seal the fate
of all of them who were. Involved, allegedly very disturbing
that somebody would actually record a criminal act that takes
(13:54):
a man's, life takes a boy's. Life it's horrible stepping
away from kids and back to grown. Up the mob
that pummeled two people In cincinnati recently has been rounded
up all but one of. THEM i think they may
HAVE i don't. Know it may have been today even
that they grabbed that last. One maybe. Not in any,
event two of them already back on the street after
(14:15):
a judge reduced their bond from one of them had
a quarter, million one of them had three hundred. Thousand
both of those bonds were reduced to twenty five thousand
each at ten, percent which means they were out for
twenty five hundred, dollars which was probably raised pretty quickly
by just laying a car title on the on the
(14:35):
bail bondsman's. DESK i don't know how any of that,
works And i'm proud to say, that but it seems
to me that that's my that's my understanding, anyway that
you don't have to have the twenty five hundred. Dollars
you just have to have something worth close to, that
and then these bail bondsmen will will sign off on
it on your promise that you're going to return when
(14:57):
it's your court. Date some, do some. Don't in related,
news by the, way one of those people who's alleged
to have participated in that beating In cincinnati was a
felon With this is one of the REASONS i contacted my.
Friend this guy has twenty two prior, arrests not, ten twenty.
(15:19):
Two they picked him up on allegedly stealing a victim's,
chain this time off his or her neck during it
all just crime of. Opportunity, really did you know that's
a pretty. Chain now That i've got you beaten to
a pulp and lying there bleeding and barely able to,
breathe let me just rip that chain off your. Neck
(15:42):
there was another guy involved in that who who somehow
posted just picture. This this is a guy who kind
of lives by the, streets maybe not on the, streets probably,
not somehow posted a two hundred and fifty thousand dollars
bond in immediately after his. Arrest they barely had him
(16:03):
out of the handcuffs and into a holding, cell and
this guy's, hey you're kicked, free go, on we got
our twenty five thousand. Dollars somehow just. Remarkable, hmm what
is it? Time you know? WHAT i want to spend
some time talking With, brent So i'm gonna go to
this break a little bit. Early is?
Speaker 1 (16:21):
That?
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Okay? Will does that mess you up at? All we're
good good Ut Health institute On. AGING i want to
remind you once, again And i'm gonna keep doing it
for as long as they'll let, me BECAUSE i am
so impressed with this. Bunch this is more than a thousand.
Providers they're mostly down in the medical, center where most
of the best doctors and caregivers in The southwest. Are
(16:43):
but if you need somebody outside of, there many of
these same, providers And i'll tell you what they do
in just a. Second many of them also travel to
outlying clinics and offices and hospitals and, whatnot and spend
a day or two each week there so that if
you can't or don't want to drive into the med
center and getting involved with all that traffic and parking
and all, that you don't have to you can see
(17:05):
them out in your own. Neighborhood what these providers do
is come to you and your, situation whatever that may,
be with knowledge that other providers don't have because they
haven't gone back and gotten that additional training to learn
how to apply their knowledge specifically to. Seniors that's what
(17:25):
separates the members of The institute On aging from not
knocking other people who are doctors or trainers or therapists
or anything, else not knocking their. Credentials but What i'm
saying is that people who are part of The institute
On aging have taken that extra step on their, own
on their own, dime on their own time to learn
(17:47):
more about. Us that's pretty. Special ut dot edu slash.
Aging that's the. Website go, there look at all the.
Resources it's going to take you a, while a pack of,
lunch you're gonna be, there and then find your way
to one of these providers who can help you where
you need to be. Helped ut dot edu slash.
Speaker 2 (18:06):
Aging now they sure don't make them like they used.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
To that's why every few months we wash, him check his,
fluids and spring on a fresh coat of.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
Wax this is fifty plus With Doug.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
Pike all, right welcome back to fifty. Plus thanks for, Listening.
Sertin do appreciate. It, uh and you, know will in
recognition that yesterday Was National Senior Citizens, DAY i thought
it would be appropriate for me to forget. Something oh
MAYBE i did forget that we had Rescheduled brent for.
(18:39):
Tomorrow MAYBE i. Didn't MAYBE i did it just in
tribute To National Senior Citizens. Day do you believe any
of What i'm saying right? Now turn that thumb?
Speaker 2 (18:51):
Up will come. On.
Speaker 3 (18:55):
Uh in any, event let's move on and we'll talk
To brent. Tomorrow or by the, way according to this
website of his or this app of, his which has
nothing to do with the interview we're going to do,
tomorrow but according to, That i'm going to live a long,
time longer THAN i actually THAN i. Thought i'm pretty
(19:16):
excited about the next chapter in my. Life now this
gives me, time, though to complete a couple of things
THAT I it's a couple of writing projects THAT i have,
underway AND i really really hope THAT i can get that.
DONE i really. Do i'm all fired up now because
these are long term projects. Too this isn't something you
(19:36):
can write. Overnight i'm talking about a lot of work
to get these things, done and THERE I the MORE
i think about, it the more fired UP i. Get
WHAT i need to do is go to the Geek
squad BECAUSE i need them to pull the writing program
THAT i was using when my son was born off
of an OLD pc and put it onto my new
(19:58):
laptop THAT i, bought and hopefully get back at it
and just lock myself in a room every now and
then and not come out Until i've finished at least
two or three pages of What i'm working. On there
are multiple projects and in various stages of, completion all
of WHICH i hope to get done BEFORE i. Die
(20:19):
and IF i, DON'T i already know WHO i want
to have, them because that person actually has completed projects
and been involved with that. Business he's out of it,
now but he knows enough to know whether any of
those would be worthy of, pursuit AND i would trust
him to finish him, off and maybe then this shifts
(20:40):
some of the money they make off of them back
to my. Family whoever's left running with the theme we
were dealing with earlier about big cities and crime and
all of that, stuff but not on crime. Anymore the
left is outraged THAT msnbc is shifting gears sort of
and itself as we move into the, future it's going
(21:03):
to be called ms now if you haven't, heard WHICH
i don't even watch that network at, all BUT i
know what it was because of WHAT i do and
the STORIES i see from. There the bottom line is
it's gonna be it's it's an awkward acronym at best
that stands for my source news opinion. World it doesn't
(21:28):
even it doesn't make sense as a, sentence certainly because
it doesn't have a vowel and it does it just,
well nothing from them has made much sense in a
lot of. Years along with THE nbc, reference going away
also goes that network's. Peacock who knows what bird they
(21:48):
might choose to replace that. One off the top of my,
head there's only one that's really, appropriate and that's The
dodo and unless they really change their, ways which won't.
Happen and we know that the acronym probably should be
moss for more of same. Stuff and that's what you're
(22:08):
gonna get from, them no matter what they call, it
no matter how they spin. It with this whole my
source news opinion, world it's it's still going to be
the same stuff coming from the same people They're they're
just wrapping it in a different. Package that's all they're.
Doing shifting gears yet, again to social. Media did you
(22:30):
see the story will about the two social media influencers
reviewing a restaurant and then having a sudden. Mishap you
have seen that? One, Okay, Well i'll tell my audience
BECAUSE i doubt they. Have AND i had never heard
of either of these two. People and, first first and,
foremost thank, goodness they're. Okay so they're in A shishi
(22:56):
restaurant around here, somewhere enjoying lunch and videoing the entire
procedure when out of nowhere crashes through the window and
automobile they got big plate glass front windows on, there
and that car came. In fortunately it wasn't going fast
(23:20):
enough to just wipe these people. Out they got bumped
and bounced out of their seats as all the glass
from the windows shattered and came falling. In but they're,
okay and you Can they just said exactly what you
would expect them to. Say and hope they would say
(23:42):
that we're shaking. Up we're shaken, up but we're not
Heart it. Was it, was, really it was pretty. Miraculous
both of them just walked away from. That if you
see it on video and see it, online it's all
over the, place And i'm sure they're gonna milk, it
milk that moment for all it's. Worth AND i don't blame.
Them they make money off off likes and off of,
(24:03):
views and this one's good to get a, bunch and
they got me for one whatever that was. Worth but
AND i had already read the. STORY i already had an.
IDEA i could see it in my. Head but then
WHEN i saw it at a second site where it
was just a one push to the, VIDEO i couldn't
help myself car crash right into the. Restaurant and thank,
(24:23):
goodness they're both, Okay AND i don't know anything about
their social media. Influence they called those of us who
are behind these microphones influencers as. Well AND i guess
in some ways we, are and in all ways all
the people uppear pretty much EVERYBODY i work, with almost. Everybody.
Anyway we genuinely do vet out the people we for
(24:49):
whom we speak and we get to know, them whether
if it has to be by, phone it's by phone
somebody's way far. Away i've got a client In New
York i've only HAD i think he's been To houston twice,
maybe and we've been working together for sixteen this might
be the seventeenth.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
Year AND.
Speaker 3 (25:10):
I like that. Guy he does exactly what he says
he's going to, do AND i enjoy working with people
who will do. That oh, Boy Caroline levitt had to
jump in. Again rather than field legitimate questions from legitimate
journalists about What President trump's doing to bring peace To
(25:31):
russia And, ukraine the same old reporters are asking the
same dumb questions and accusing our president of stuff that
he's not, doing And Caroline levitt's having to reprimand, them
scold them for doing what they do, best which is
distort things and make a. Mess from a recent stance
(25:54):
at the, Podium levitt, said AND i quote one thing
that has absolutely not changed is the media's negative and
downright false coverage Of President trump and his foreign policy.
Accomplishments from the beginning of this entire, process much of
the left wing media has been actively rooting against The
(26:14):
president of The United states in the pursuit of peace end. Quote,
HONESTLY i don't know how she keeps her cool as.
Well she. Does she's a, fireball, though and she'll let
him have it when they have it. COMING i wish
they could all comport themselves as legitimate professional journalists and
not just mouthpieces for people who don't like. Him they've
(26:38):
just been conned into thinking they don't need to like him.
Either something's wrong with, him must be something wrong with.
Him let's just all be. Mad let's just all be
angry at the guy who is who was able to
bring world leaders over, here able to Bring Vladimir putin
Onto american, soil that was no small. Feat and anybody
(26:58):
who thinks otherwise he needs to learn something about international.
Dealings he's very good at what he. Does he's stopped
a lot of people from, dying and he's trying to
stop more people from. Dying let's get to the easy.
Stuff shall we by the, way Today's National Radio. Day,
well now did you know? That, Okay National Radio? Day
(27:21):
let me explain it to. You, no, WAIT i can't
because there was nothing else said in that entire little bit.
There but today Is National Radio day and there was
nothing behind. It so between that and Yesterday's National Senior Citizens,
day surely there's a party. Somewhere surely there's a happy hour.
Somewhere maybe. Not from the longevity, file AND i can
(27:45):
do this in less than a, minute don't you. Worry,
Well i'll just rattle off a few of these before
we go to the last segment from the longevity. File
there are at least fourteen companies in the world that
are over should say more than that's bad. Grammar don't
write it that. WAY i won't say it that. Way
fourteen companies in the world that are more than one
(28:05):
thousand years. Old not on one of them, here we
hadn't been around long. Enough there are nine of those
of fourteen are In. Japan and these companies include it
really makes, sense, hotels, wineries construction, companies a great wall
are US i, guess and makers of religious. Goods when
(28:30):
you think about, it all of that makes perfect, sense
those would be the categories that would be the most long.
Standing they, are and we're gonna take a break on
the way. Out CEDAR Covarv resort not a thousand years,
Old i'm very confident, that but it is also it
happens to be a very nice place much newer than
(28:51):
a thousand years old to go and enjoy sunsets and
sunrises On Galveston. Bay they're at the end Of Tri
City Beach road over there In, baytown a little little
south Of, baytown and there you will find all the
amenities you could need to park your motor home or
your pop up camper or your trailer or whatever it
(29:11):
is you're gonna sleep. In drive in on a concrete,
road park it on a concrete, slab and every single
one of his sites has, electric water and sewer. Hookups
and if you're if you're a camping, enthusiast you know
how important that is when you roll, In, well yeah
we got we got one back there for, you but
it doesn't have any, water it doesn't have any. Electricity,
(29:33):
well in addition to those, things they also have free,
WiFi and a convenience store and a bathhouse with showers
if you want to clean up without using the water
in your in your abode over. There good, people he
GOT i say he Al kibby got in touch with
a friend of his once and they came up with
(29:54):
an idea to where people can try it before they buy.
It in the oder home, world in the camper, world
whatever it. Is this one man has a camper that
he just wasn't using very, much and they decided to rent,
it kind of like an airb AND b on the.
Bay i'm gonna hold onto that line that's not bad as.
(30:15):
It will you like that thumbs up on? That, maybe
oh thank. You it's an airb and b on the.
Bay you rent, it you rent the slab it's gonna

morning fishing at. Night maybe cook a little cook some
(30:38):
steaks on a grill over, there but just enjoy that
rather than going too some motel and having to wake
up in the morning to overlook some guy throwing all
the breakfast trash in the dumpster behind some little fast food.

Speaker 3 (31:17):
Welcome back fifty. Plus fourth and final segment starts right.
Now we've got about what seven, minutes will seven six
forty five something like. That we'll get to the end
of it sooner or. Later i've checked that one. Off i've. Checked,
NO i haven't done that. One this is, interesting a
fun fact to. Know until about The Right brothers as if,
well most of this audience would would have studied The
(31:40):
Right brothers in probably in middle. SCHOOL i would, think
what aka junior high? SCHOOL i don't think we had
to wait until the ninth grade to learn About orville And.
Wilbur The Right brothers didn't really pioneer flying, together is
the Story i'm reading this. Morning wilbur basically did all the,
(32:04):
work it, said but Gave orville half the credit so
his feelings wouldn't be. HURT i don't know How orville
pulled that, off but more power to. Him and if
you don't tell AND i don't tell anybody, else Maybe
Orbell's Maybe orbell's legacy will live on as the co
(32:29):
inventor of human, flight at least in our. COUNTRY a
study of twenty MILLION i don't know where they got this,
information but this is the kind of stuff that probably
you could probably find it faster on the dark web
than on the Actual. INTERNET a study of twenty million
married couples found no astrological signs are more likely to
(32:52):
wind up with any other astrological. Signs so all of
that is who He i'm not, surprised, Frankly i'm really not. Home,
NO i don't want to do that. One that's kind of. Nah,
oh this is. Interesting. Now most of us won't qualify
for this for two. Reasons, one, Well i'll let you
(33:15):
figure them, out because they're they're they're gonna be right
in front of. You but there is a new term
for going directly from one relationship to another without taking
a little bit of time in between to just be.
Single you want that? Term have you ever heard of
that will go from one relationship to another without taking
(33:38):
a little time to be single and just hang out by.
Yourself just, no, no you. Haven't you've been in a
long time term relationship for a while, now and hats
off to. You, no this little thing is called monkey.
Barring and for those of us who grew up WHEN i,
did the monkey bars were that's where you just swung
(34:00):
from one to the, next to the one to the.
Next and there were about ten of them in, line
just high enough off the ground to keep even the
tallest kid in elementary school from being able to touch
his feet or. Hers, actually we had a very tall
girl in my elementary. School i'm hesitant to, uh, No
i'll call her, name because she was a nice. Girl
(34:20):
she was a little, girl and we were all just
Getting we all got. Along but she was just tall
for her. AGE i would bet she was three or
four inches taller than even the boys in the, class
most of the. Boys she just got her growth. Early
very charming. Girl i'm sure she turned into a charming young.
Woman her first name Was. Georgia but that's All i'll tell,
(34:40):
you because she may not want to be remembered for.
That BUT i remember her very, fondly, actually and she
was one of the nicer kids in the. CLASS i
think she was in my Third i'm gonna say third
maybe fourth grade class over At Sutton Elementary. School that's
WHERE i went to. School that one's. Checked now, good
let's go back over here to the kind of semi
(35:02):
serious stuff BEFORE i run out of too much. Time
saw a story this morning that really bothered me about
a guy from a guy FROM i don't know where
he's from, actually but he was driving a semi tractor
trailer illegally In florida and has his alleged well it's
the evidence is, there but he allegedly killed Three americans
(35:23):
who while he made an illegal, turn he just turned into.
TRAFFIC i GUESS i haven't seen the. VIDEO i don't
want to see the, video but he killed three. People
he kind of crushed him under his under the body
of his. Truck and according to somebody who's actually seen
(35:44):
some video from, there this guy when they were pulling
the bodies out of that, car just stood, there just, uninterested,
unemotional just a just stone. Cold the release from The
department Of transportation show that this driver was issued a,
regular full term commercial driver's license On july, fifteenth twenty
(36:08):
twenty three By Washington, state and just eight days later
he was issued a limited term non DOMICILED. Cdl whatever that.
Is non. Domicile does that mean he's a homeless truck.
DRIVER i guess that's the only thing that makes. Sense
(36:29):
those are two really big mistakes, too because when this
guy was, Tested i'd kind of like to know who
gave him those, licenses because when he was, tested he
only got two of twelve driving related questions, correctly and
he was only able to identify one of four traffic
signs he was. Shown and they probably just quit showing
(36:51):
him stuff after that because they realized he had no
idea what he was doing where he was supposed to.
Be but apparently in Cal, california In, washington he's qualified
to drive a semi all the way To florida and
three people. Dead That's it's, disgusting it really. Is it's so.
(37:12):
Disturbing real quick From Fox news today comes word that
a whistleblower has Accused Senator Adam schiff of leaking classified
information for the purpose of Indicting President. Trump, allegedly when
the whistleblower said during the meeting that what was being
proposed in that meeting would be. Illegal he or she
was reassured that nobody'd get caught, well and, expectedly through
(37:36):
a representative, shift has categorically denied those and other growing
list of accusations really against, him saying they're just simply
defamatory attacks meant to distract From President trump's plummeting poll
numbers and The epstein files and anything else he can
throw at it to deflect and and make you stop
thinking about. Him only it's not. WORKING i haven't seen
(38:00):
those those devastatingly falling poll numbers. EITHER i don't know
where they. Are that's it FOR us. Audios
