Speaker 1 (00:00):
Didjebile show on demand? First day follow up?

Speaker 2 (00:04):
Sky is on the phone today for a first date
follow up. She's getting ghosted by a dude named Edward Sky.
Before we get into your date and stuff, how long
has it been since you talked to Edward? It's been
about a week, okay, And have you reached out to
him at all? Or are you just waiting for him and.

Speaker 3 (00:19):
I'm waiting for him to reply back to me?

Speaker 4 (00:22):
Okay, Okay, Well let's go back to your date and
like relive that to see if there was anything that
maybe why.

Speaker 5 (00:29):
So I I met Edward in art class that we
both took for uh in college, and it was we
got like selected for a group project and as we
were like working together, we just started talking more and more,
and then Edward.

Speaker 3 (00:46):
Asked me out, Oh that's cute. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (00:49):
I was like really excited about it because like it's
been a while since I've been on a date. The
last time I was out was with my ex and
my ex boyfriend.

Speaker 3 (00:59):
And I have been when we're together since high school.

Speaker 6 (01:02):
Oh wow.

Speaker 5 (01:03):
So, like we met up at this like modern art
gallery and like like a lot of our conversations are
about art and everything in modern art and I've never
been to one, so he decided to take me.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
He told me about one.

Speaker 5 (01:15):
It was in this town, this part of town that's
like really sketchy, like it's it's I don't know. I
just didn't feel safe, but it was cool because Edwards
was there, and he like made me feel comfort comforted,
like he made me feel safe and protected. So we
walked to this nice little cafe we eat. We got
to know each other and like really got to know

(01:37):
each other in like this personal sense. I could tell
like Edward was like really in the mood to to uh,
you know, for some play time. But because I mean
by that so yeah, I mean like we were like
kind of hands on, like touchy philly, you know, just
talking and touching and you know, all of those good things.

(01:59):
And and I could see that he was excited.

Speaker 6 (02:08):
Really like not not because of his smile, because of
something else.

Speaker 2 (02:15):
Yeah oh wow, okay, but.

Speaker 6 (02:18):
It sounds like you liked it.

Speaker 5 (02:20):
He was really respectful, like he never pushed the issue,
Like he was very respectful. So honestly I didn't I
didn't want to rush it because he would be like
the first guy romantically I would have been with or
would be with since my ex. So what I did
do was like I didn't want him to think of
me like as like a prude or anything. So I

(02:42):
threw him against my car and I decided to.

Speaker 3 (02:44):
Make out with him like a long while.

Speaker 6 (02:49):
He's excited, So throw me up against my car.

Speaker 3 (02:53):
Is too far.

Speaker 6 (02:54):
I love it already. This is great. It's like a
movie anyway.

Speaker 5 (02:58):
So when we left, I told him that I would
text him when I got home, and I did. I
thanked him for a wonderful night and everything, but I
didn't get a response from him for about four hours,
and then at about three in the morning, I get
a random text asking.

Speaker 3 (03:13):
Me would I like him to be wearing this?

Speaker 5 (03:17):
And this was a picture of a woman's panty and
matching bra what that laid out on the bed?

Speaker 6 (03:24):
Okay, yes, if you would like him to be wearing that? Yeah,
huh huh okay, and he's the one ghosting you.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yeah.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
It kind of caught me off guard, like it caught
me by surprise, but I was just like something new.
He like, you know, we're both word artists, and like
he did say that he was sexually fluid, so I
didn't really get weirded out by it, so I replied,
I was just like, it depends on how good you
are in a wikie space and I haven't heard from

(03:56):
him since.

Speaker 6 (03:57):
Is that some kind of chest that he is?

Speaker 4 (03:59):
It like a chat he lays out, Yeah, you want
me to wear this, and depending on how you respond
is whether or not he proceeds.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
That's what I was thinking.

Speaker 2 (04:07):
I've never heard that one before. I mean, it's weird
that he would go that far and then not text
you back.

Speaker 6 (04:12):
That's what I mean.

Speaker 2 (04:13):
Yeah, well, we'll try to figure it out for you.
We'll play a song come back, and then call him
and see if we can figure out why you're getting
ghosted and get you another date if you still want
one after you find out. Okay, okay, all right, we'll
play a song come back, get your first day follow up.

Speaker 6 (04:27):
Next, it's a double show.

Speaker 1 (04:28):
I can't wait, me too, The Jubil Show on demand.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
First up if you're just joining us for today's first
day follow up. Sky is on the phone and Sky
is really confused why she's getting ghosted by a dude
named Edward. So am I, Yeah, so's Victoria.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
We're all confused.

Speaker 2 (04:49):
We're about to call him and find out why he's
ghosting her, and maybe get another date if she still
wants one. Sky, Why don't you refresh everybody's memory though,
and tell us about your experience with Edward your date?

Speaker 3 (05:01):
Okay, so like we went out, went to a cafe.

Speaker 5 (05:04):
Everything was great, everything that hot, and see me, I
kind of slowed him down a little bit, didn't go
all the way, but I did throw him against my car.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
Kind I'm hard and made out. I don't know. I
thinking maybe he thinks I'm too boring. He sent me
a picture of him.

Speaker 5 (05:27):
Well not him, but of a broad and pandy set
matching and asked me what I like him the weird
and I told him, you know, maybe it depends on
how good he is.

Speaker 3 (05:39):
And I haven't heard back from him.

Speaker 5 (05:41):
And he's like super hot and he's the greatest and
we get along so well, and I don't know.

Speaker 4 (05:46):
Yeah, I don't understand this one at all.

Speaker 2 (05:49):
Yeah, we're about to call him and see ifield tulus why
he's ghosting you, and then see if you want another date.

Speaker 6 (05:53):
Are you ready? I am right here we go. Hello, Hi,
I speak to Edward. Please. This is Edward Edward. How

(06:13):
are you man? My name is Jubel host the radio
show called The Jebel Show.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Hi, Edward, I know, Hi, I know who you guys are.
What's up.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Well, we're calling today because we got an email about
you from Sky.

Speaker 1 (06:27):
Are you serious?

Speaker 6 (06:28):
Yes? For a first day follow up?

Speaker 1 (06:30):
I was just about to ask if it was first
day follow up? Yeah, I am so. I'm sorry.

Speaker 7 (06:36):
I'm all over the place, but like, I'm so happy
that you guys are calling so I can finally get
hold of her.

Speaker 1 (06:44):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (06:44):
So, look, we were taking an art class together and
we went on a date. She's probably told you this,
and the our class is it's over, And the only
way I had to get a hold of her was
the number in my phone. Okay, so did she she
told you about our date?

Speaker 3 (07:02):
Right?

Speaker 4 (07:02):
Honestly, I can't get past the bron panties if we're
being honest.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Yeah, I'm sorry the what Okay, you already probably know
that Sky is on the line listening and wants to
talk to you.

Speaker 6 (07:16):
She seemed to know these seconds very well.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Yeah, I'm sorry, I'm I'm a fan. Hey, Sky, how
are you?

Speaker 3 (07:24):
Hey?

Speaker 7 (07:27):
I am first off, thank you, and I am so
sorry the part of town we went to that seemed
shady was really shady. After you left, I was on
the way to my car and some dude came up
with a.

Speaker 1 (07:44):
Guy and made me empty my pocket. Yeah, he took
my wallet, my keys, my phone.

Speaker 7 (07:52):
My first My first thought then was thinking, God, Sky's
already gone, because like I didn't I didn't want to
go through but I really didn't want to have to
go through it, especially since, like I suggested that part
of town, and like I said, he got my keys
and my wallet and my phone, and.

Speaker 1 (08:08):
I didn't have any way to contact you.

Speaker 7 (08:10):
I tried finding somebody in class you might have your number,
but nobody had it.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
I've been busy getting all.

Speaker 7 (08:16):
My credit cards canceled and getting a new license, and
I've been back and forth with the cops a couple
of times.

Speaker 1 (08:21):
He took my car, you know. Yeah, I had my
keys out. I was about to get in my car
when he showed up and did it.

Speaker 7 (08:28):
So like I feel like I'm so thankful that you
weren't there, But yeah, I lost my car, while my keys,
my phone, and my connection to you.

Speaker 5 (08:40):
Whoa, Oh my god, I'm so sorry I didn't call
you sooner, but like after I after, like I responded
to that picture. I just figured that you weren't interested
in me anymore.

Speaker 1 (08:52):
What picture? Like, I don't if I didn't have my phone,
I didn't get a picture.

Speaker 5 (08:57):
I didn't send a picture, okay, so right, So like,
so when we laughed, I told you that I was
going to text you, but you know, I made it
home safely, and I did and and then I got like,
I didn't get anything from you. And then till like
three o'clock in the morning, I got a response. But
it was a picture, and you asked me if I
would like you if you were wearing this, and it

(09:18):
was a matching panty and broad bay and so I said,
it depends on how good you are with the whinki faith.

Speaker 3 (09:25):
And then you didn't reply. That's random.

Speaker 4 (09:30):
So that wasn't you that texted that.

Speaker 1 (09:35):
He didn't look like he was wearing bra and panties. Wow,
Why why would you send that to a stranger?

Speaker 7 (09:42):
It had to have been sent by the dude that
that mugged me or somebody that was with him.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
How the phone? Oh no, oh my god.

Speaker 7 (09:55):
You know, look you're you're you're fine, Like I just
had your phone.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
We're in there and like I save everything. It doesn't
have your full name.

Speaker 7 (10:04):
I just save everything by like the first letter and
where I met him, so like it's s art class,
so I knew that that was you.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
But like there's there's no there's no address. I mean
I had to shut off the old phone.

Speaker 7 (10:17):
I got a new one with the same number, so
anything that comes across now will be me.

Speaker 1 (10:23):
But I didn't have your number and it I mean
it was that first day, so you're safe.

Speaker 3 (10:31):
Yeah, I'm fine.

Speaker 1 (10:32):
I mean I'm bombed. He didn't like rough me up,
hit me or anything.

Speaker 7 (10:37):
He just took my stuff. It's more an inconvenience than
anything else. I just gave it to the dude and
he took off in my car.

Speaker 3 (10:44):
Well, I'm so sorry for calling a radio station. I'm
sorry for bothering you in the middle of all this.

Speaker 8 (10:50):
So sorry, no, no, no, It's like the sky is
much more of the best thing that's happened to me
all day. I've been wanting to call and talk to
you again because like I read like you, and I'm
sorry that what you've been going through.

Speaker 6 (11:05):
But Edward, would you like to go on another day
with Sky? We'll pay for it.

Speaker 7 (11:09):
That man, that's a silly question of course I do. Yes,
that's would love to see Sky again, whether you pay for.

Speaker 1 (11:15):
It or not.

Speaker 5 (11:16):
I definitely want to go on another date with you,
but you have to where that hot.

Speaker 1 (11:26):
Well, it depends on how good you are. Okay and Sky,
I'm gonna need you to drive because I don't have
a car right now.

Speaker 6 (11:34):
Oh gosh, that sucks.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
I don't mind it.

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Well, congratulations, you got another day.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
I'm glad. I'm so happy. Thank you guys so much.
Thank you Edwards. You said you have the same numbers.
I'm going to call you.

Speaker 7 (11:57):
