Jeff Sparhawk is the Executive Director of the Colorado Search and Rescue Association. SARS Teams around Colorado are all volunteer organizations and are looking to get funds from the State legislature to help them carry out their rescues.
As more people move to Colorado, more people get into trouble in the great outdoors and need rescuing. Many of these SARS volunteers put in 1400 dollars of their own money to be able to be a rescuer. Now they need financial rescue themselves.

Michelle Sie Whitten, CEO and Founder of The Global Down Syndrome Foundation in Denver gave us an update.

3-21 is coming up and it is World Down Syndrome Day. Also, we talk about the latest research and how the organization was getting along since the pandemic started.
