Speaker 1 (00:00):
This thing still works, right, Okay, I see levels, I
hear audio. Still let's geek out, well, hello everybody, nerds, dorks, geeks,

(00:22):
everything in between. Yeah, it's been a while since I've
powered this thing up. I'm surprised it's still worked. It's
still still a little dusty, got the knobs and the
keyboard shortcuts need a little work in. And yeah, I
think that's where we're at at this particular point. If
you realize that this has never been something you listen

(00:42):
to at any point in your life, that's okay. I
kind of gave up on it for a while, and
for for for good reason. I got lazy. Yeah, that happens.
We're human, so terribly sorry. But right now this is
just a yeah, let's call it a reboots of the
geek Freak of the Week podcast, just making it happen,

(01:05):
just kind of get making sure this thing still is
alive and the account is active, which, if you're listening
to this, means that, yes, it is possible. There's so
much that I've missed, so much that we should have
talked about, but we sadly did not, And I'm angry
at myself for that, almost as angry as the time
I saw the Green Lantern movie at midnight in theaters

(01:29):
that I proudly forced people to go see with me.
And to this day I realize that I should all
I should pay them all back for making them see
that movie. It was terrible. I'll even I'll even put
inflation in on that for ticket prices. I really should

(01:50):
not have been excited for that movie, but I was.
And after seeing it, I remember saying to someone, this
never happens, this night never happens, this movie never happens.
We will never discuss this again, but I hope we
talk more and we don't pretend that this thing kind
of shriveled away into the oblivion. So I'm gonna do

(02:13):
my very best to keep the Geek Freak of the
Week podcast up and running, Gonna try to update it
more and as often, whether it's what we used to do,
a short speak or a regular length episode, whatever the
case is, I am gonna do my very best to
make that happen. So I guess we'll end here on

(02:36):
the thing that I always end every episode with. I'm Dan,
and that's the Geek Freak of the Week podcast.
