Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Greater South Florida Chamber radio program with
your host to board president John Kroll of Kroll Realty.
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It is Saturday,
November fifteenth, twenty twenty five. Folks of the Year is

(00:20):
actually flying by. I'm Rob the director of Operations with
the Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce. This is one
of our weekly radio programs called the Best of South
Florida Business News with me is corporate trustee, ambassador and
board member Joseph McCormick. Joseph Joe McCormick, and he does
a number of things, but what he does works real
closely with small to mid sized businesses. He has several

(00:43):
different programs that are tailored to increase productivity. He can
help people that may be in need of an infusion
of capital to gain some traditional funding of do being
that a lot of those options are dried up for
lack of better grammar. And then obviously does a lot
of business coaching and can salting as well. I know
there's a number of things going on from that all

(01:03):
the way through digital currency. Want to get right into
it this morning, Joe, Welcome to the show. Always a
pleasure to have you take a minute or two to
introduce yourself and let's get right into it.

Speaker 2 (01:13):
My friend, Well thanks, Rob. Yeah, my name is Joe McCormick.
We're going to be talking about Dreams. Business Resources, a
company that helps business infectuate their bottom line in a
positive way with tools such as cloud streaming, cloud computing,

(01:37):
business lending, PSIKA reduction programs, and the biggest one right now,
because we're in the fourth quarter, Rob, is the R
and D Tax Credit, which is a great program, been
around since the eighties. Millions and millions of dollars sitting
on the table for small businesses to apply for. See

(01:58):
if they qualify and get these against their tax liability.
And it's very very easy to do. We have an
initial consultation, we talk about some things, but I will
tell you a lot of companies will a reason a
lot of money set down the table. Rub is the
companies just they don't think that they qualify. They don't

(02:20):
they don't have a laboratory, they don't have microscopes lying around. Well,
that's you don't need that. If you have a process,
If you have a product and you improve upon it
or try to improve upon it, and even if you fail,
you're going to be eligible for R and D tax credit.
And I know a lot of companies out there CEO

(02:40):
CFOs have told me, well, my accountant says, I don't qualify. Well,
I'm not here to bad mouth accountants and CPAs, but
most of them don't know that and don't know how
to maneuver through the paperwork. We have a proprietary software
that does all the work for us, and it's very
user friendly. We get the owners on board, we help

(03:02):
them through it, and you can actually have this cash
infusion or this tax credit I should say tax credit
within thirty to forty five days. It's pretty wonderful.

Speaker 3 (03:12):
Rob Yeah, and correct me if I'm wrong. It is
wonderful job, but correct me if I'm wrong. It's also
been enhanced through the current administration through some legislation where
a lot of people thought that program would be eliminated
and for lack of better grammar, they doubled down to
make sure that these traditional methods were available for people

(03:33):
in the small business and mid sized business sector because
of the fact that they know that they're up against
it for lack of better grammar, and they need funding.
So that is correct through the big beautiful bill. From
what I've heard, No.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
You're spot on. You're spot on. There was a worry
that this program would be cut or at least some
parts of it xcize, But you're right, they doubled down.
They've actually increased it. They've made it easier and simpler.
So I encourage any any business out there one two

(04:06):
employees up to five thousand employees to reach out. And
I've got a number four you rub It is nine
oh four six four three six four zero six again
nine oh four six four three six four zero six,
and we'd love to have that conversation. Another grow great

(04:30):
program is our like a reduction program, and just real
shortly and on that. It's the way we infuse a
health efficiency plan inside a company. And the bottom line
is the the employee is going to see about one
hundred and twenty hundred and thirty dollars pay raise monthly,

(04:54):
and the owner, the business owner is going to realize
the six hundred dollars savings per year per employee. Now
that can really add up for a large company. And
the beautiful thing about this rob becomes a zero net cost,
zero net cost to the employees, zero net cost to
the owners and after having this plan in place for

(05:17):
a couple of years, the value company value skyrockets and
very very cool and love to have that conversation as
well for both companies with twenty or more employees.

Speaker 3 (05:32):
That's amazing. And you know, I like the fact that
you just spelled the myth because there's so much noise
out there, and that's why I choose to not tune
into any of it. I try to go with fact
over fiction, and there are a lot of fallacies out there,
but the truth is, under the current government, there are
a lot of efforts being made to improve standings, whether

(05:52):
it's economic standings, security standpoints for business businesses as a whole,
in business owners to improve their day to day operations
and make life a little bit easier for John Q
small business owner and the taxpayers because of the fact
that these programs, as you'd mentioned, have been around for
a while and a lot of people never took the

(06:14):
time to find out what it was all about. And
I like the fact that you simplify it so well
for people because from what it sounds like, and you'd
know better than I, you're not jumping through a lot
of hoops and it's not real difficult to apply for
and find out if you qualify for this program.

Speaker 4 (06:33):
Correct.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
Absolutely, And it's basically a checklist that you go down
of the folks with tax prep advocates, the folks that
do this for us are there to help. We have
on boarders that we do zoom calls with. We make
it very easy for the business owner. There's some work
they got to do, but trust me, it pays off.

(06:57):
The average case. I think I've told you this before,
the average case on these R and D tax credits
is about two hundred and fifty thousand dollars. Now, yeah,
that's that's that's a lot of money. You think about this,
rob If you qualify this year, the government's actually going
to let you go back three tax years. So if

(07:20):
you qualify for two point fifty and last year you
paid one hundred, well that's one hundred thousand dollars check
you're going to get back, and anything that's left over
you can carry forward. So again, you're right, they make
it easy. The programs are out there, they just need
to be aware of that. They need to ask for it.

(07:41):
If their CPA or accountant maybe for lack of a
better word, doesn't doesn't move on it, make the phone
call to us, you know. Nine oh four six four
three six four zero six. We work with tons of
big accounting firms for the work that we do and
it really really helps them. We don't steal clients or

(08:03):
anything like that. We just want to make sure that
we can do this R and D tax study for them.
They can give it to their CPA, file it with
their taxes and enjoy a healthy, healthy return on their
tax liability.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Once again, folks, it's been Joseph Joe McCormick, one of
our corporate Trustee Ambassadors DREAMS Business Resources. Joe, let people
know one more time how they can get a hold
of you to reach out to set up a consultation
if you would.

Speaker 2 (08:29):
Please sure absolutely nine zero four six four three sixty
four zero six.

Speaker 3 (08:36):
Joe. I want to thank you for your time. Once again,
Joe McCormick on Saturday, November fifteenth, twenty twenty five, from
iHeartRadio in West Palm Beach, Florida, when we're now signing off,
when we're streaming on the iHeart app. Joe, have a
wonderful weekend, my friend, and God bless you too.

Speaker 2 (08:51):

Speaker 3 (09:57):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. I am Rob
the director of operations with the Greater South Florida Chamber
of Commerce. This is one of our weekly radio programs
called the Best of South Florida Business. We are privileged
to be here at iHeartRadio in West Palm Beach, Florida,
where we're now streaming on the iHeart app. And with
us is doctor Darren Lestovski, who is one of our
corporate Trustee Ambassadors and he's the owner of Pivotal Health

(10:20):
and Wellness Center located in Lakeworth, Florida, right off of
Tenth Avenue. Now. Doctor Lestovski's interesting because he's been in
the business for over thirty years. He's all been positive experiences.
He's very well versed at what he does. He specializes
in helping people who suffer from neuropathy, which is a

(10:40):
very chronic thing that's going on. A lot of people
don't even realize they have it. It can be really
detrimental to your physical well being and your mental psyche
as well as your health. And he's helped people for
that period of time with chiropractic and acupunctury issues. But
even more importantly, there's a new program we're going to
talk about this morning, doctor and don't want to get right
into it, get out of the the way. And let
you introduce yourself, let people know how they can get

(11:02):
ahold of you, and then I want to talk about
the importance of stem cell research.

Speaker 6 (11:07):
Go ahead, sir, thanks so much for having me. I
really appreciate it. Yeah, I'm excited to talk about this
topic today because it's so life changing for so many
people and it helps a lot of them avoid surgeries
and joint replacements by improving their bodies overall health. So

(11:28):
it's been around a long time. It's called stem cell therapy.
It's a form of regenerative medicine. And you know it
was discovered.

Speaker 2 (11:40):
Years ago, and.

Speaker 6 (11:43):
You know, as patients started complaining about joint pain and
degenerative problems, we look for new options. Hierpractic is an
excellent source of helping people with sports injuries and therapies
that we administer. But when it's pretty bad or abused
because of things like worts and running or swimming and football,
or being in the military where they destroy their knees

(12:06):
from jumping out of helicopters and airplanes, we can use
umbilical stem cells. So you know, at one it's totally safe.
The donors are healthy born babies that the parents choose
not to bank the stem cells. Then they're donated and

(12:26):
labs receive them, they check them, they screen them to
make sure they're not carrying any issues, and then some
of them are used for research, while others are used
by various clinics to help patients with various type of
joint injuries.

Speaker 3 (12:41):
And how long has that process been around, doctor Lustosi.

Speaker 6 (12:46):
It's actually been around for decades. You know, different laws
have changed over the years. Where it wasn't allowed to
be used, it is allowed to be used. There's some
medical doctors, mainly orthopedics, that choose to take it out
of bone marrow or out of fat, and the FDA
has been involved more recently to control and limit the

(13:07):
usage of some of these products. So you know, it's
it is unfortunate to have these restrictions, but the results
in the outcome for so many patients, and thousands and
thousands of patients have received stem cells in fact, probably
tens of thousands over the years and had such phenomenal results.
In fact, I've had it done and I've done it

(13:30):
on two of my kids. That's how much I.

Speaker 7 (13:32):
Believe in it.

Speaker 3 (13:33):
I've actually heard testimonials and I'm not well bursed in
this like you. But I saw personal testimonials from individuals
online as well as on TV saying that there was
individuals who, for lack of better grammar, were in the
eleventh hour, they're up against it, cancer, different other life
changing and life threatening illnesses, that by doing the stem
cell research it actually helped them overcome those situations, and

(13:57):
there was a complete turn about it. Is that correcting
your fair assessment?

Speaker 7 (14:01):
It is correct. Now.

Speaker 6 (14:02):
We can never say we treat cancer with stem cells,
but what we're doing is treating the body or helping
the body to become healthier and stronger and having the
ability to heal itself better. But there is a lot
of studies that have shown that people have overcome cancer
by getting stem cells therapy. I've met several people, and

(14:24):
there's people who travel out of the country in order
to get it because there are very limited or no
restrictions as to what they get treated and how much
they receive.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
Well, obviously we won't even waste our time getting into
this aspect of it. But you and I both know
it's from a theological prowess, or it goes against someone's
religious beliefs or whatever it may be. And that's fine.
I'm not here to judge anyone. I leave that to
the Good Lord. But point being, if you can provide
a procedure, which you can obviously, that's going to help

(14:55):
people increase the quality of their life and benefit their
body as a whole, to help them improve their standing,
I say, why not try that? I think that's amazing
that you're able to do that. So I just wanted
to give my two cents. But here again, I'm not
well versed in it like you are. So what would
be one of the common misconceptions to spell a myth
regarding stem cells, if you would.

Speaker 6 (15:19):
So, the biggest one is that they're taken from boarded fetuses,
and that is totally illegal here. So this is from
healthy born babies, just from the umbilical cord, and it's
extremely safe. It's probably one of the safest forms of
any type of treatment that exists because it's from our

(15:39):
own bodies.

Speaker 7 (15:40):
It's natural.

Speaker 6 (15:42):
And I have a different perspective than some orthopedics because
they actually prefer to take it out of the patient directly.
But when you're dealing with patients who are fifty sixty,
seventy years old, why do you want to use their
stem cells. They're already old. They're not as effective. When
we use thembilical stem cells. They're the most vibrant and

(16:02):
the most concentrated. But one in ten thousand cells is
a stem cell at birth. By the time you're hit
age fifty, it's only one in four hundred thousand, and
by the age of eighty it could be as much
as one in two million. So you know, when we're
treating people, or we're providing stem cells to a patient,
we want them to have the best opportunity in order

(16:24):
to heal. And we get patients in here that have
degenerative joints and they're told you're bone on bone, there's
nothing you can do. And I will tell you probably
seventy five percent of those people come in, we take
new X rays, they still have cartilage and joint tissue,
they're eligible for stem cells, and they do phenomenal.

Speaker 3 (16:45):
I'm glad to hear that, and it sounds to me
that this is something obviously that you believe in. One
thing I know about you, as well as your team,
you're very passionate. I know you're well versed in what
you do, but you're extremely passionate and Unfortunately, that's not
the case for everybody out in America today. There's a
lot of people that are successful, they have great jobs,
and they're standing in society, whether it's from a personal standpoint,

(17:09):
economic standpoint, whatever it may be. They're just not content,
they're not happy. And I couldn't help but notice when
I met you, one of the first things that impressed
me was the fact that you're content with what you do.
You're passionate about what you do. I can see you're
one of the people. And I'm an early riser and
I work late at night and have lots of successes,
have plenty of failures like anyone else. But the one

(17:31):
thing about it, I'm passionate about what I do and
where I work. And I couldn't help but notice that.
And it seems like it's infectious. It rubs off from
you to your staff. And that's why I'm encouraging anybody
out there, whether it's from a chiropractic standpoint or whether
you're looking to try stem cell research or stem cell therapy,
reach out to doctor Lestovsky and his team because you'll

(17:52):
be in good hands when you meet he and his organization,
their facilities, state of the art at top notch. It's
a very user front, as we like to say in
the industry, and I think it's really cool that you're
doing what you're doing. We got a couple of minutes left.
Anything that you want to input or share with the
listening audience this morning, and then obviously I want you
to give out your contact information again so people know

(18:13):
how to get a hold of you.

Speaker 6 (18:15):
You know, Rob absolutely love what I do because I'm
changing lives every day. I do want to share something quick.
We had a lady bring down her son who was
in his twenties that was severely autistic. He did stem
cells and within a week she started noticing the difference
of his personality. So this is how much stem cells

(18:35):
change people's bodies. And if I didn't believe in it,
I wouldn't have had it done on my own kids
for their own injuries and problems. So I want to
share something with your guests if anyone is interested. We
reserve a few spots every week for a free consultation
to see if we can help you. We're in Lakeworth,
We're on tenth and ninety five, very easy to get

(18:56):
to us, and if they call the office five six
's one four forty nine hundred. That's five six one
four forty nine hundred. Tell our front desk that they
heard me on this interview and we'll be happy to
extend that free console to them.

Speaker 3 (19:12):
I love it. I know we're in the preliminary stages
of talking about it, doctor, but obviously I'm hoping in
twenty twenty six we get to conduct affair out at
your facility. I think that would be outstanding if there
was a way to do that. And once again, I'm
encouraging anybody out there in the listing audience this morning
if you have issues with arthritic pain, or you have

(19:33):
bone spurs like I do, or if you have a
bad back, or you have bad knees and whatever it
may be, and it's led to the fact that your
spine is not in pristine condition, or you're just you're ailing,
could be old age, whatever it may be, and you've
thought about going to a chiropractor, but you've never done it,
or you've been to a chiropractor in the past and

(19:54):
you had a bad experience. Well, you know, you have
one bad meal, You're not going to stop eating. You'll
just go to a different restaurant. So and one thing
about doctor Lestovski and the team at Pivotal Health and
Wellness Center in Lake with us saying I know for
a fact that if you go there, you're going to
be happy because of the fact that they work with
a large number of people. And another thing about not

(20:14):
just being passionate. But I know it's a case by
case scenario, and I know you treat each individual equally,
and I know you have to approach people with different
you know, recovery plans and whatnot. So I think it's
really really neat that we're on air this morning and
giving people an opportunity to find out how to do
business with you. And you know, once again it's been

(20:34):
doctor Darren Lestovski from Pivotal Health and Wellness Center. I'm
hearing that music in the background, which means we've got
about a minute left and he's going to give everyone
his contact information one more time and his pearls a
wisdom so you'll know how to reach out to him.
Thank you, doctor, Go ahead, sir.

Speaker 2 (20:51):
Thanks so much.

Speaker 6 (20:52):
Contact us five six, one, four three four forty nine
hundred if you're ready to change your life, feel better
and get back to the things you used to love.

Speaker 8 (21:01):

Speaker 6 (21:03):
Please reach out five to sixty one four three four
forty nine hundred.

Speaker 3 (21:06):
Thank you doctor, have a wonderful weekend and God blessed.

Speaker 2 (21:10):

Speaker 3 (22:15):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It is Saturday,
November fifteenth, twenty twenty five. My how the year has
flown by? I'm Rob the director of Operations with the
Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce. This is one of
our weekly radio programs called the Best of South Florida.
Business News with Me. Is one of our corporate Trustee Ambassadors.
His name is Claudio Ariano and what he does, folks,

(22:37):
He's the president and CEO for Associated Medical Care Now.
They're an arm of New Health and New Health Partners
and what it is. We're here to talk about New
Health MD Medical Centers, which is a chain of primary
care medical clinics in both South Florida and throughout Houston,
Texas and the metropolitan area. I want to get right

(22:58):
into it, Claudio. I appreciate you being with us this morning.
What makes your primary care clinic different from others in
the area here in South Florida? Can you elaborate on
that for us?

Speaker 4 (23:10):
Absolutely? First of all, thank you Rob for having me
on and let me get right into it. Our clinics
focus on personalized, relationship based care. We give patients longer
appointment times, same week availability, and direct communication line to
their care team instead of rushing through visits. We look
at the whole person, physical, emotion, and lifestyle factors to

(23:32):
build a care plan that's truly tailored to them. We
also use modern tools like telehealth and digital check ins
to make care convenient without sacrificing the human connection. We
recently added a mobile care clinic. This enables us to
visit the patient at their home or anywhere. Really, we
want to help bring quality, patient centric health care to
the communities that we serve.

Speaker 3 (23:53):
And what services do you provide and who do you
feel can benefit from that? Can you elaborate on that
a little bit.

Speaker 4 (24:01):
Absolutely. We offer comprehensive primary care, including annual physics, physicals,
chronic disease management, preventive screenings, urgency visits, mental health focused discussions,
weight loss plans, and aesthetic services such as anti aging
treatments like botox fillers and ib therapy. We take care

(24:22):
of young adults to seniors, and we emphasize prevention when
someone is managing conditions like diabetes or hypertension or they
just want to stay healthy. We're equipped to help anyone
can benefit from what we do with our current climate
and the uncertainty creates. We offer a comprehensive health assessment
with full lab work for patients without insurance for only

(24:44):
one hundred and fifty dollars Claudio.

Speaker 3 (24:46):
How do you ensure patients receive high quality and continuous care?

Speaker 4 (24:53):
Continuity of care is the center of our model. Patients
to see the same provider consistently, and every visit builds
on the previous one. We track key health metrics over
time and coordinate with specialists when needed. Our electronic health
system allows us to follow up quickly, refill medications efficiently,
and check in proactively when labs or imaging results come in.

Speaker 3 (25:17):
You know so many clinics are overwhelmed these days. How
do you maintain shortwaight times in good access. I'm sure
that's a tough thing to do.

Speaker 4 (25:27):
It most certainly is, and the way that we do
that is we manage our appointments lots strategically and offer
both in person and virtual visit options. Additionally, we offer
extended hours at some of our sites, and we're currently
working on opening an urgent care center to help avoid
and e our visit. By preventing the schedule overload and

(25:47):
using tech to streamline paperwork, we minimize bottlenecks. Patients can
typically get appointments within the same week, and walk ins
and urgent visits are available daily. Our goal is accessible
ability without compromising quality.

Speaker 3 (26:03):
What is your vision for the future of your clinic.

Speaker 4 (26:09):
We want our clinic to make health care feel human again.
Our goal is to become a long term health partner
for our patients, supporting them and saying healthier, not just
treating them when they're sick. We want to transform healthcare
for our patients, our broker partners, and our health plan partners.
It's why we're called New Health MV.

Speaker 3 (26:32):
Now. Obviously, there's a lot of organizations out there that
do what you do. It's a huge industry. Obviously, we
know that there's a lot of noise out there regarding
the industry, whether it's how people are going to get coverage,
what they're going to do for coverage, all those different

(26:52):
things that are happening. But one of the things I
noticed about your organization is from top to bottom, you're
very progressive. You're taking steps as an organization, as a
whole moving in directions that other people are not moving
within the industry, and it seems like, for lack of
better grammar, you're controlling cutting edge technology in a lot

(27:13):
of different areas. Take a few minutes to talk a
little bit about the organization as a whole. How many
locations you have here in the state of Florida, how
many you have on the national level. But I also
know that you do business as a company nationwide as well,
and to me that was very, very impressive. And I
like the fact that your team is extremely I don't

(27:36):
never like to use this term claudio, but your organization
from top to bottoms user friendly and they're very thorough.
You know, I've seen organizations where you'll reach out to
someone you could wait a week, two weeks, sometimes three,
four days, whatever it may be, to get a response
for a voice message and or email. Your organization is
a complete opposite. You'll have someone gets back to you

(27:58):
immediately within the And I know that you have a
big organization because you have thousands of employees, But touch
on that and what else do you feel separates you
from the other organizations within your industry classification?

Speaker 4 (28:13):
Thank you, Rob that I couldn't have said it better myself.
I mean, you know, I've been in healthcare for thirty
two years myself, and when I started in this industry,
I started as a customer service rep for a large
local health insurance company. So I'd like to tellt that
my experience, really or my foundation, starts around customer service.

(28:36):
And one of the things that I've noticed and us
as an organization have noticed, is that customer service just
about in every industry has kind of deteriorated. And so
what we're trying to do is we're trying to change that.
Right when someone's reaching out to see a doctor, you know,
they're already not feeling well, they're already uncomfortable, they already
have to take time away from work or from their

(28:59):
daily active is to go see a doctor. And and
so we're focused on really delivering cutting edge customer service
and making someone feel like, Okay, my healthcare is important
to these people, and they want to make sure that
not only am I am I going to get, you know,
get taken care of and feel better for my current visit,
but that they're going to help me manage so that

(29:20):
I don't get sick moving forward. And I can and
I can prevent, preventively catch anything that may come my way.
So customer service is our priority. It's it's what is
built as our foundation to our service, and it's really
important to get to get that, uh as the first
layer of our of our care to our patients.

Speaker 3 (29:40):
Well, I'm glad you touched on that, because I'm sure
you would agree with me in not all cases, but
in a lot of cases regardless of the industry sector,
not just in the medical sector, but customer service as
a whole. A lot of people have feel has become
a lost art in our country due to the fact
that a lot of it's out sourced. And I'm not

(30:01):
taking anything away from the international aspect of that, but obviously,
when you have someone reach out to you on behalf
of whether it's your automobile, your home, your car, insurance,
health insurance, life insurance, medical practitioners, whatever it may be,
you know you want that warm, fuzzy feeling and when
you feel like a number. And obviously if there's a

(30:23):
barrier there from a language standpoint, which can be overwhelmingly annoying.
And I don't mean to offend anybody by that, but
obviously because of the fact of technology and the voiceover
internet lines and the fact that things are outsourced. Sometimes
there's just an overbearing echo, and if someone has a
really prominent accent, it can be become difficult to understand them.

(30:45):
And that's why it's so important to be able to
say that from the beginning, from the experience, from the beginning,
you're going out on a limb to make sure that
you're doing things correctly, dot and all the eyes crossing,
all the t's, making sure that's satisfactions paramount, to make
sure people are comfortable. Because when that happens, you do
a lot of referral business. And I couldn't help but

(31:06):
notice your organizations outstanding reviews, and I see you do
a lot of a referral business because when people you
do something good for someone, they're going to tell people
about you and about it. If you do something bad
for someone, they're going to tell everyone about it. And
obviously you and your organization are doing the next right
thing on behalf of all of your clients and potential clients.

(31:29):
And I think that's a really cool thing because here again,
not to be redundant, Claudia, we both know that that's
not the case. As a whole in America today as
we sit here on Saturday, November fifteenth, twenty twenty five.
So it's nice to know when we're referring people to
you and your team that you're going to take good
care of them. We got a couple of minutes left.
Anything else that you want to share that's coming down

(31:49):
the pike that you're doing that you want people to
know about.

Speaker 4 (31:54):
Well, thank you and I appreciate your commentary on referral business. Right,
it's really important that we give our patients and our
customers a really great experience when they come to see us.
You know, when they call us, when they come to
see us, they're going to hear us with a smile
when we answer the phone. Because, again, as you touched
on customer service, it's extremely important. You know, we are

(32:18):
looking at technology to help us create efficiencies and continue
to deliver that human touch to our patients. Health Care
is something that we all need and we're all going
to need at one point of time in our lives.
I think healthcare is something that people need to understand.
It's not something that should be reactionary. We should be

(32:39):
proactive in our healthcare approach, having our annual physicals every year,
making sure that we're kind of watching our bodies, what
we eat, exercising, and seeing our doctors so that they
can help us stay healthy and live healthier lifestyles. We're
bringing in technology to help us with that, and we

(33:00):
want to make sure that we help transform the delivery
of healthcare in our system. It needs help and we
want to be part of that solution. So we thank you.
I thank you so much for the time today, and
we really appreciate being on the show.

Speaker 3 (33:14):
No, I'm glad we could have you. I heard that music.
We got about a minute left. Once again, folks, it's
been a Claudio Arianna, who's the president and CEO with
Associated Medical Care and New healthmd dot com. And it's
neat to see an organization like you at the top
all the way through, from the first person to the
last person. Your team's passionate about what you do. You

(33:37):
enjoy what you do, and when you do enjoy your job,
it bleeds through, it shows through. And if you don't
enjoy your job, unfortunately there's really no way to mask that.
So once again, not to be redundant, it's nice to
know that you're in good hands when you're dealing with
Claudio and his team one more time before we sign off,
But I thank you for your time this morning. Let
people know how they can get ahold of you, sir.

Speaker 4 (34:00):

Speaker 3 (34:57):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It is Saturday,
November fifth, twenty twenty five. I'm Rob, the director of
operations with the Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce. This
is one of our weekly radio programs called the Best
of South Florida. Business with Me is corporate trusty Ambassador
Steve Sunshine from five Star Visibility. They are one of
our corporate companies we work with in a closely held manner.

(35:19):
They are the company that we refer people to for
digital marketing if you need help with your website, whatever
it is that you need. Today, we're going to talk
a little bit about social media and how important it
is because it seems to be the one benchmark that
a lot of small to mid sized businesses, if business
owners miss the mark with and it seems to be
one of the most important ones. I want to get

(35:40):
out of the way, Steven, give you an opportunity to
introduce yourself and let people know how they can get
a hold of you.

Speaker 2 (35:46):
Sure.

Speaker 7 (35:47):
Thank you, Rob, and I just want to compliment you
on the job you're doing with the Chamber. You really
provide a value for all South Florida small businesses. It's
a very unique opportunity that you have people like Rob
pushing to help you get more customers and bring more
success onto your business. So let me introduce myself. My
name is Steve Sunshine. Yes, Sunshine is the name, and

(36:10):
I am the president over at five Star Visibility where
Fort Lauderdale marketing agency. We're one block west of ninety
five on Cyprus Creek, so we're local. You can come by,
drop by anytime talk to us. You have someone to
reach out to and help you with your digital marketing.
We really focus on local small businesses. We really don't

(36:33):
go after the Pepsis and the McDonald's of the world.
We look at the guy that's starting a business by
himself or has small business he's had for years and
he just can't keep up with everything. So we offer
that kind of consulting in solutions to do any part
of their marketing. Today, I want to talk about five
areas of social media because it's one of the miss

(36:57):
most misunderstood opportunities that people just think if they do
a post, business should happen. Where you really have to
have a detailed plan and you really have to understand
the opportunities that are in front of you to be
able to take advantage of them. You can't post the
wrong thing to the wrong audience, it won't be effective.

(37:17):
So first I want to talk about social media you
need to meet people where they already spend their time.
Each social platform has a different type of audience, and
depending on your business, is where your audience kind of lives.
If you have a very professional audience, maybe LinkedIn's the
right platform for strategy. If you have a younger audience

(37:40):
that wants to be totally engaged and entertained, TikTok is
probably really good. If you're looking for the moms and
dads of the world, maybe Facebook is where they still
hang out. But you have to understand what your target
audience is, who your target audience is, and where they are.
So first you have to reach to them where they

(38:00):
already are hanging out. No sense posting a thing about
kid stuff on LinkedIn. Your audience will never hear it.
So right platform for the right audience. Second, you need
to build trust through consistent value. People don't understand that
you have to give something to get something on social media.

(38:22):
If you don't bring value to the reader, to the viewer,
to the targeted audience, why are they going to stop
and pay attention. There's a million things going on in
the screen. But if you provide some insight, some helpful tips,
some coupons, some entertainment, anything that you can to engage
the audience. That's what you have to bring is consistent value.

(38:45):
Don't just post, hey, I'm wearing a blue shirt today.
Who cares if it's like if you're going to wear
a shirt and you want to be a professional, blue
is the right color. It's better than white in the
current trends. Simple example. But you have to bring value. Next,
you have to use visuals to capture the attention quickly.

(39:07):
Your images, your videos, they really need to hit the mark.
You need to make someone stop scrolling to pay attention
to you. If yours is just like everyone else's post,
it's not going to stand out. You have to stand out.
You have to earn the business. You have to earn
their eyeballs. You have to earn their dollars out of

(39:28):
their pocket. So think of your visuals. You have to
do it the best you can. Next, you need to
engage the audience. Don't just broadcast. You're not shouting at people.
You're not saying hey, read this, read this, read this.
You're saying, hey, I have value and I want your opinion.
Take a poll, give me a comment, like it, share it. Engage.

(39:50):
You have to figure out what is engaging to your audience,
not to the world, just to your audience. If you're
trying to get young pfessionals, what is going to interest
them to engage back with you? A survey, a poll,
a factoid, anything that makes them think or challenges their behavior,

(40:12):
they might engage because it's interesting. Okay. Next is you
need to leverage the platform tools. Okay, each platform, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn,
all these they give you tools. They want you to
be successful. So you need to learn the platform. You
need to be able to look at the insights and

(40:32):
the data and the analytics see what's working what's not working.
That's the biggest challenge in all of digital marketing is
to understand what's working what's not. There's a famous adage
that fifty percent of my marketing is working. I just
don't know which fifty percent it is. It's so true.
People don't have the metrics in place. They don't understand

(40:54):
what is actual success. Sometimes small business owners say, well,
I put it thousand dollars in a bank today, I
feel good. But if they sold it at a loss
and they gave away fourteen hundred dollars a merchandise for
one thousand dollars, they ain't going to be in business loan.
So understanding your metrics, your goals, and having a plan

(41:15):
to reach it. Social media is challenging. It's not something
that you can just have a kid do it for you,
or your sister's brothers, sons, cousins, mother's friend's daughter that's
going to do it for you. If you get some
professional advice from people that know this stuff, you can
take the ball and run yourself, so it's not going
to be expensive. Or you can hire a company like

(41:36):
ours or anybody else's that does this professionally and really
do a good job for you and move the needle
because you need growth, You need attention, you need awareness,
you need customers in your door. Do it wrong, you
get nothing. Do it right. You start getting the flow
going and it'll increase and momentum will build and things

(41:57):
will grow and grow and grow and drive success for
you in the future.

Speaker 3 (42:01):
I like the fact that you said that because I
was thinking about when you mentioned that, and I was
thinking about another dear friend of mine who you know,
and it says that tried that have a kid do
it for you, and it seems like a lot of
people are out there have went that route, but you know,
it's nice to know that when you're working with five
star Visibility folks, you're working with one of the largest

(42:23):
and most effective digital marketing companies not just in the
city of Fort Lauderdale proper in South Florida in the
Tracanty area, but throughout the entire state. And they also
have a national presence. And whether you're a company that's
spending five hundred to one thousand dollars a month or
whether you're spending five thousand to fifty thousand dollars a month,

(42:43):
they treat everyone equally. They have a spot for everyone,
so they will build something and cookie cut it to
meet your criteria and your needs. And I think one
of the neatest things that they're doing for us and
for our organization through our partnership, because they are the
preferred digital marketing company and it company that we refer
people to as they're doing a free digital marketing evaluation

(43:04):
for our members, new and existing as well as people
within our network. And I want you to elaborate on that.

Speaker 7 (43:10):
Steve Sure, one of the hardest things for a small
business is to look at their digital footprint, their website,
their social media, their Google presence objectively. Because they look
at it and they see it over and over again,
they become blind to the real data that's there and
the details that are there. So we offer a free

(43:30):
evaluation that one of our digital experts will go through
your website, your social media, your Google presence, your Google
business profile and give you a report. It's about a
five page report. We go over about thirty five different
metrics and we give you an abcd F grade so
it's easy to understand. We give you some suggestions, and

(43:50):
then we have a zoom call with you and explain
it all and answer your questions. Zero cost, zero obligation
