Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Greater South Florida Chamber Radio program with
your host to board President John Kroll of Kroll Realty.
Speaker 2 (00:22):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It is Saturday,
the nineteenth of July twenty twenty five. Were privileged here
this morning at iHeartRadio in West Palm Beach, Florida. We're
now streaming on the iHeart app. I'm Rob the director
of Operations with the Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce.
This is one of our weekly radio programs. The best
of South Florida Business. With me this morning are Raymond Anton,
(00:42):
who is a corporate trust, the ambassador with the Chamber.
He's a mortgage broker. He's been with us for a
number of years. Also with this corporate trust, the Ambassador
Brad Curtis. He and his father Tom Curtis are the
proprietors of the River City's Gazette, which is the paper
that handles all of information and surrounding communities such as
Medley guard Or Medley, Virginia Gardens and Durrow. But most
(01:04):
importantly it's Miami Springs primary focus as far as what
they do digitally and what they do with their print
magazine and print newspaper. It's amazing. It's a really cool publication.
We're really blessed to have a partnership with them because
Miami Springs always joke it's kind of like the Mayberry
of Miami. It's that last hidden gem in South Florida.
(01:25):
They really don't have anything like it in Broward County
or Palm Beach County. So Miami Springs is kind of
its own little private Idaho. It's a place where you
can just kind of hang out for the weekend and
get away from all the hustle and bustle. And we're
really excited about the relationship. We're doing events down there
in Miami Springs.
Speaker 3 (01:41):
Now.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
We have an event coming a week from today from
noon until five. We have limited vendor space left. It's
at the Miami Springs Adult Community Center. And what I
want to do is get out of the way this
morning and let Brad and Ray talk a little bit
about what's going on in Miami Springs. But in the
next six to seven minutes, and anybody who's interested, all
you got to do is go through ww dot Greater
South Florida Chamber dot com, do an online inquirym. We'll
(02:03):
get you a vendor space.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Go ahead, gentlemen, Hey Rober, how are you doing, Ray,
I know you're here with us, Yes, all right, all right,
so yeah we are here. Uh, you know, like you said,
it's just kind of like the Miami Springs, it's an
escape from the hustle and bustle of Day County. It's
just a beautiful hometown, small town feel. We love it.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
Yes, And as soon as you turn off of one
of the major intersections into the town, it's like your
your heartbreak goes down a few points, your blood pressure
goes down. So it's really nice to be a part
of this community.
Speaker 6 (02:34):
You know.
Speaker 2 (02:34):
Here, it is here. It is Saturday, the nineteenth of July.
We're actually one week away from the event, you know,
exactly a week from now, starting at noon, we'll be
at the facility there from noon until five. And that's
a very unique community center. It's very it's state of
the art, it's new, has everything in it from a
police substation to I saw libraries in there. There was
(02:55):
a workout room.
Speaker 6 (02:57):
Yeah, Jim.
Speaker 5 (02:58):
It's got the cat dining area, yeah, which is where
are their vendors set up.
Speaker 4 (03:02):
Yeah, and then it's got a cafeteria where they serve them,
you know, everybody lunch and their private rooms where they
play dominoes and checkers, and its own little library and
historical display for Miami Springs antiques and things like that.
Beautiful place.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Yeah, and I think part of the thing that I
want people to understand is if you're in Miami Springs
or the surrounding areas, a lot of people whether it's Hialia,
whether it's jeral or whether it's people coming in from
the east or the west, north or south because of
the way that the city is structured with the river
and the barriers on the airport to the south, if
you're going to advertise there or in that immediate area
(03:43):
the River Cities, because that is the way to go.
Brad and his dad do a really really good job.
Their team does an excellent job with their publication. It's
something that we're really fortunate to be involved with because
you get a lot of mileage out of it when
you run ads in that paper and you're involved with
online with their digital packages. It's really really super cool
and we get a lot of people reaching out to saying, hey,
(04:06):
I heard about this through the River City's gazette. There's
a lot of people that are interested, and I wanted
you to take them inute, Brad, Is there anything going
on this summer fall as far as promotions that you're
offering that you want to make people awareable you're on
the radio today on Saturday, July nineteenth.
Speaker 4 (04:20):
Absolutely absolutely, And yeah, so right now, our website is
under construction and it's big news around here. You know,
we are transferring over to a digital platform and you know,
the writing and the articles and all the information the
community hometown News is going to be switching over to www.
(04:43):
Rivercitiescazette dot net and the actual newspaper. We got a
few more goodbye issues and you know, but I keep
telling people it's not the end. It is a rebirth.
It's a week an awakening. We are re evolving and
we are adapting to our our high tech world. You
know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
Absolutely? And you know the interesting thing about it too,
And I want people to understand when you hear that
last named Curtis, his father, Tom Curtis, is a Hall
of Fame College All American at the University of Michigan
who holds NCAA records for interceptions. Born in Cleveland and
did not go to a house day went to the
University of Michigan, but he also was a defensive back
(05:23):
for Don Shulis undefeated nineteen seventy two world champion Miami Dolphins.
So and Brad and his father took all the fortunes
his dad made in the NFL and rolled it into
the River City's Gazette. And they're great to work with
And I kid you not, they're spot on. If you
want something done in that community, you want to go
through the Curtis family, you want to go through the
River City's Gazette. And also Ray Anton great asset for
(05:47):
our chamber. As far as anybody in that area that
needs a mortgage, look no further. He can reach Deray.
He can take care of it for you. And we're
just extremely excited about the partnership and continuing to work
with you and doing events. They're hoping we will get
that done on a court orderly basis and looking to
doing some stuff when the weather breaks, because it's been
a hot one this summer, that's for sure.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Yeah, Suir, I'm out here, Sweaton, right here at the
George Washington Park in front of the Library here of
Miami Springs. I'm sitting at a at the Eagle Scout
Project Daniel Pinto two forty three March twenty third, the
Boy Scout America. They built a picnic table and it
has the checkerboards laid into the top. So I'm kind
(06:27):
of out here sweating looking at the checkerboard, but raised
a good More's He's good for a lot more than
just mortgage. He's actually a musician, really a good line
of guitar, and he's part of the team here with
River City's Gazette.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
Yeah, he is, and I'm proud to announce it that
more than I think there's like a ninety percent chance
that on the eighth of November at Canyon City Ample Theater,
which is part of Palm Beach Parks and rec we're
going to have the City Festival, Business Expo and Healthfare
there and we're hoping to have Rain his band on
stage there that day with us. Because we're going to
be there. We're excited about that. I forgot to mention
(07:02):
that first time I heard Ray do leyvn van Halen's eruption,
I closed my eyes and I thought I was an
old van Halen concert.
Speaker 5 (07:08):
So all right, he's talked about Goosebam, you're too kind.
Speaker 2 (07:11):
Now, you're pretty good, right, you're pretty good. There's people
that can play people that can play guitar. There's people
like either shred you shred my friends.
Speaker 5 (07:19):
There's a difference, Thank you, y, thank absolutely. But there's
something we're doing. We're also doing with the River City's
cassette is the Business of the Week features. So we
have digital ads going on now so that people can
be part of the growing trend of getting information now
and then getting getting the word out now. We've got
lots of local businesses that are been part of it
lately and it's a lot of fun. We make these
(07:40):
fun videos help advertise the business and you know, it's
just been a fun time doing it.
Speaker 2 (07:45):
Well, we're excited about so we're really excited about supporting that.
And once again, you know a week from today from
noon until five, you can come out and meet Brad
and his team in person. Ray will be there with
us obviously, and then we're going to also be there
again on September twentieth. So I'm coouraging anybody involved in
our organization or networker people that just are coming to
the event through people in our network like Ray and
(08:08):
like Brad and River City's Gazette to take advantage of advertising,
and take advantage of those digital campaigns and get an
ad in the publication coming up to promote the September
twentieth a bit and there'll be food, food and refreshments
and drawings there and all kinds of neat stuff.
Speaker 4 (08:23):
So once again, it'd be so much fun.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Once again, before we sign off, give out your phone number,
Brad case somebody wants to reach.
Speaker 4 (08:29):
Out to you and you as well, right, yeah, please,
it's a Brad Curtis the number seven eighty six five
eight seven three zero ninety three, and you can get
in talks with me and we can. There's no deadline.
Do you call me on a Sunday you want to
start advertising digitally on Sunday, We'll go on Sunday. You
know what I mean.
Speaker 2 (08:46):
Absolutely, You guys are a very thorough and we appreciate it.
And Ray, go ahead, sir.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
Ray Anton nine to five four three three two zero
one four to three, to get a hold of me
for any musical needs, mortgage needs, or advertising needs.
Speaker 2 (09:00):
Ray, when you're in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame,
please don't forget us. I want to Thank you gentlemen
for being with us this morning. We're signing off on Saturday,
the nineteenth of July from iHeartRadio and West Palm Beach, Florida.
We're now streaming on the iHeart app. Thank you, gentlemen.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
Thank you for Rob.
Speaker 4 (09:14):
I have a great one.
Speaker 7 (09:21):
Hey, this is Melissa Kricci. I'm a licensed and insured
local insurance agent. So one thing worth mentioning is the
annual enrollment period for Medicare Advantage did end back in December,
which is known as plan changing season for those on
a Medicare Advantage plan. But I do like to remind
all my clients that you have the Open Enrollment Period
(09:43):
or OEP available to make one plan change up until
March thirty first. So if you're unhappy with your current coverage,
give me a call. Can reach me at five six
one two eight seven zero four zero six call their text.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It's Saturday, July nineteenth,
twenty twenty five. We're a privilege to be here at
iHeartRadio in West Palm Beach, Florida, where we're now streaming
on the iHeart App. I'm Rob, the director of operations
with the Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce. This is
one of our weekly radio programs called the Best of
South Florida Business with us as new Corporate Trustee Ambassador
Tanya Franklin. She is the CEO and Pounder of Sunshine
(10:23):
Group Life and they do everything from specializing in term
whole iul's, mortgage protection, annuities, dental vision. She's excellent for
coming out and doing workshops and seminars, whether it's on
wealth management or just taking a look at your portfolio
to make sure everything's in order, to make sure you're
giving yourself quote unquote that fighting chance, to make sure
(10:46):
that when you do retire. Everybody worries the sixty four
million dollar question, do I have enough money to live
through my retirement? Well, she can help you with that,
and she can make sure that you know you're putting
money in the proper buckets as they say, and make
sure you have you're invested properly, help you with whatever
it is that you need. And we're really excited about
the relationship we're performing with her because it's a corporate
Trusty ambassadord. She's going to be at all of our
(11:07):
events and we're trying to set up as many opportunities
as possible for her to be able to share her
expertise because she's an expert in those fields. I want
to get out of your way, give you an opportunity
to introduce yourself, talk a little bit about yourself. Where
you're located. Obviously, I know you're a native of Riviera
Beach and you went to Sun Coast High School, and
you're located off of Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard. But you
(11:31):
have a very interesting and effective background. And I know
you worked with the city and the state, so you
know about the bureaucratic red tape and all the loopholes
people have to jump through when it comes to stuff
like that. So I want you to share a little
bit of your background with everyone this morning. Go ahead,
good morning.
Speaker 8 (11:46):
Thank you for having me on ROB Absolutely. I am
Tanya Franklin. I am a licensed life insurance broker here
in the state of Florida and also about seven or
eight other states surrounding. I am currently located in West
Palm B twenty three hundred, Palm Beach Lakes Boulevard, Sweet
three hundred h What's unique about us is that we
(12:06):
come out to you. You aren't just confined to come
into the office. We meet people where they are, and
I think people like that. I've prided myself on getting
out into the community and doing the educating and the
engaging that you don't always get when it's time to
sign up for stuff. We are comfortable with having the conversations,
those hard conversations with people because we get these jobs,
(12:28):
and we're on the jobs twenty thirty years and we're set.
We feel that we're set and nothing needs to be
done until you enter into what they call now the
drop or you're just terminated, or you're just getting ready
to retire, and now you're looking at everything and it's saying, hey,
I could have made some different decisions earlier on. So
trying to reach the younger people to let them know
(12:49):
outside of their employment, to get insurance while they're young,
while they're healthy, while they're criminal free, you know, no
habitual driving record, even when it comes to getting retirement
insurance and making sure if that's on your job, it's
something that you can take with you because not all
jobs allow you to convert things over and you're looking
(13:10):
at something else now and you're twenty thirty years old
and the portfolio is going to look a little different
because now that employer is no longer paying their portion,
it's all on you. So it's very important for us
to get out, to get into these buildings, to go
to these events, to talk to the community, to talk
to the kids at the schools or even at the colleges.
Education is key, and as they say, when you know better,
(13:32):
you do better. So when you learn it, you know
how to apply it later on.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
What do you think one of the key misconceptions there
is and what are some of the key mistakes. I
don't like to use the term mistakes, but what are
some of the shortcomings that you see people doing when
it comes to identifying what coverage they have, what they
need as far as wealth management, asset protection, using equity
(13:57):
within their home to reinvest in their family and their business,
children's educations, things along those lines.
Speaker 8 (14:03):
I honestly feel that most people don't know what they
actually have. So, you know, we go to work and
open enrollment, we go and sit down with somebody and
usually you're rushed about it. So you're trying to pick
a plan because you have a deadline to pick a plan,
and you're not really sure what you have, but you
know you have something, so you just choose what they
give you instead of asking those questions. And we get
(14:25):
settled and complacent on the job. And it said, we
have insurance or we have these benefits on our job,
but what if the job is not there?
Speaker 2 (14:33):
That's correct, That is correct. And I know that a
lot of people rely solely on their employment for whether
it be their four to oh one K, their IRA,
for their insurance for them and their families, because you know,
let's face it, there's you'd virtually have to be isolated
(14:53):
and as they say, live in a cocoon. For lack
of better grammar, I want to be careful how word this,
but because you don't want to offend anyone. But everything
going on in twenty twenty five, Domina, can I talk
about it. He's our producer who's here with us as well,
you know, and he's a he is an excellent radio voice.
He's on ninety two point one. He does the Mike
and Maddie Show out of Boston. He's got a lot
of experience. He's a pleasure to work with. And he
(15:14):
and I joke all the time and say, there's so
much noise out there post election early twenty twenty five,
whether it was the big beautiful Bill, whether it was this,
whatever it may be, there's a lot of people out
there that are worried about what's going to happen because
there's so many people, as you know, Tanya, that were
dependent and what I like to say, too dependent upon
(15:35):
Uncle Sam. Now, obviously you want your country to do
as much as it can for you because if you're working,
you're a hardworking citizen, you know you're doing the right thing.
You're going to church, you're trying to help your community,
you're paying your taxes, and you're trying to, you know,
use what you have to make sure that you know
you have your long term, long term care for you
(15:57):
and your families, because you know, your family's your livelihood,
but so is your home and your portfolio, you know,
and a lot of people don't know that they can
use equity out of their home to do those things,
and they're so dependent upon just going through government channels,
are going through Medicare, Medicaid, and now a lot of
that's changing, and they say it's the most ever changing
landscape that we've had in a significant number of years.
(16:18):
What's your take on that.
Speaker 8 (16:19):
Very true, and let's just be real. I mean, the
American dream is no longer really the American dream a
lot of people. And I hear this because I have
other networking clients and friends and close relatives that are
either in real estate or mortgages and things of that nature.
And it's like a lot of people are retiring and
taking their pensions outside of the country.
Speaker 2 (16:39):
Correct.
Speaker 8 (16:40):
And you know, we were taught growing up to go
to college and get a good government job and you're
able to retire a good and live well. But that
doesn't look so good anymore, you know. So now we're
looking at the equity in our homes, or we're looking
at making sure we have a mortgage protection because if
our spouse or our kids and we just decide to
go to work that day and we don't make get
back home, that mortgage protection will allow our family to
(17:03):
stay in the home.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Yeah, you're right about that, that is true. You know,
I'm hearing that music in the background. Means we've got
about a minute left, and we're going to be conducting
a series of interviews with you over the course of
the remainder of this year. We're really excited. Next week
on the twenty sixth of July, she'll be with us
at the Miami Springs at Alt Community Center. Then on
the thirty first of July from ten am to two pm,
(17:28):
she'll be with us for the Senior prom slash Senior
Summit and Wealth Management somewhat we'll be doing with the
Palm Beach County Parks and Recks at the Riviera Village
Marina Center. And then there's a number of things happening
in August, September, October, November, and December. So before we
sign off this morning, I want you to give out
your contact information so people know how to get a
hold of you, or you can contact us at the
(17:49):
Chamber when we'll broker a meeting for you.
Speaker 8 (17:50):
Go ahead, Tanya, absolutely thank you again for having.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
Me right absolutely pleasure.
Speaker 8 (17:54):
So again, this is Tanya Franklin, licensed life insurance broker.
I am located at twenty three hundred each Lakes Boulevard
and West Palm Beach, Florida, Sweet three hundred h My
phone number is five six one eight two five seven
zero four one and if you need more information, you
can also find us on the web just Google us JNY.
Speaker 2 (18:12):
I want to thank you it's been a pleasure once again.
It is Saturday, July nineteenth, twenty twenty five. We're signing

Speaker 2 (18:57):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. Is Saturday, the
nineteenth of July twenty twenty five. We are privileged this
morning to be in West Balm Beach, Florida iHeartRadio where
we are now streaming on the iHeart app. And we're
also very privileged app with us one of our corporate
Trustee ambassadors who's also a board member. His name is
Joseph McCormick and his organization is called Dreams Business Resources. Now, folks,
(19:22):
I'm gonna get out of the way because I'm not
well burst in this like Joe is. But there's a
lot of people out there that doom and gloom. Oh
this happened, the big beautiful bill, the sky is falling,
there's wars, there's a lot of noise. They become influenced
by the negative stuff that the media puts out. Well,
Joe's going to share with people out there there's still
(19:43):
opportunities out there if you own a business. If you
own a business, there's still an option for you to
take advantage of a few hidden gems that you might
not know about. There's money, and they just added money
to that bill to continue to give people an opportunity
to utilize these resources. You just have to have someone
unlock them for you. And that's where Joe comes into play.
(20:06):
It's threefold, actually fourfold. It is a hybrid thing. He
does a number of things, does them all extremely well.
But obviously, I think one of the things we really
want to touch on Joe's the art detax credit and
giving people an opportunity to utilize that because a lot
of people don't even know it exists. And when you
explain it to him, the next thing is they're scared
because they wouldn't know how to go about obtaining it.
(20:27):
I want you to take a few minutes this morning
to educate the listening audience on that, if you would,
My friend.
Speaker 6 (20:32):
My pleasure, Rob, thanks again for having me. Always a pleasure.
Joe McCormick dreams business resources, and that's exactly what we
provide to companies and businesses. Resources their world class. We
have a whole host and they all positively affect a
company's bottom line and increases a company's valuation. Now I
(20:57):
won't get into all of them, but I will go
ahead and spits them out. We have a four to
oh one K alternative to quote promote better participation and
make it easier on the employer cloud computing that we
do it better and cheaper than the others. We have
(21:17):
streamline business lending, and we also have a Piker reduction plan.
I'm very excited about that. But today we're going to
go ahead and touch on the R and D tax credit.
This is something most companies do not believe that they
qualify for because hey, we don't have guys walking around
(21:38):
in lab coats. We don't do R and D. Well
let me specifically reach out to all the owners out there.
If you have a product, or you have a process
that you have improved upon, or you have tried to
improve upon or tried to improve upon and failed, you
are eligible for an R and D tax credit. I
(22:00):
kid you not. The monies if you have a tax
liability are incredible and we make it very very easy
for businesses with our proprietary software. So it all starts
with scheduling an initial call and that can be arranged
(22:21):
at nine zero four sixty four three sixty four zero six.
The R and D tax credits go back to the
eighties and the average R and D tax credit for
a business is still running about two hundred and fifty
thousand dollars. That's a quarter of a million dollars. We
recently got a yogurt company four hundred thousand for inventing
(22:44):
new flavors. It's absolutely incredible. Only fifteen percent, rob only
fifteen percent of one hundred billion dollars set aside is
actually claimed by businesses just failure to qualify. Why CPAs
don't want to do it. It's very cumbersome and it's
hard for them. And two they just again they don't
(23:05):
think that they qualify when they most certainly do. So
we're excited about it. We're excited about the fact in
the new big, beautiful bill that they are going to
add more moneies to this are in D tax credit
and it will continue. So we're high on it. We're
very excited to help businesses. We're doing it every day,
(23:26):
and I'd love the opportunity to help any of the
folks down there in South Florida. Again. Joe McCormick nine
zero four six four to three sixty four zero six.
Thanks Rob.
Speaker 1 (23:38):
Yeah, no, Joe, touch a.
Speaker 2 (23:39):
Little We have a few minutes. Touch a little bit
on the fight aspect as well for people, because I
know that's another thing where there's a lot of misconceptions.
Speaker 6 (23:47):
Yeah. Well, the Fighter Reduction Plan is utilizing the Section
one twenty five of the payroll. So through implementing a
health officiency plan, we are able to save on average
six hundred dollars per employee per year per a business owner. Additionally,
(24:11):
we can increase the take home pay of the employee.
Now all this can be achieved at zero net cost.
The plan itself, the health efficiency plan, is just absolutely incredible.
It is not your off the shelf wellness plan that
so many companies out there offer or provide. I consider
(24:36):
those plans just serviceable. Where our health efficiency plan is
multi level and we have an app for it, it's great.
And again that's another thing that just starts with a
phone calls same number nine oh four six four three
sixty four zero six. So if a business owner has
(24:57):
one hundred employees out there, you do the math of
six hundred dollars per employee per that's a that's a
nice little savings every year.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
Absolutely absolutely all right, Well, you know, I hear the
music in the background, Jomie's we got about a minute left.
So what I'd like for you to do is once
again give out your pertinent contact information and folks, on
the twenty ninth of this month, from ten a or
ten thirty am to one thirty pm, Joe will actually
be in our office. He'll be doing a presentation during
(25:28):
our Chamber of Networking launch that we'll be doing at
five four four seven North Federal Highway, Fort Lauderdale, Florida
three three three zero eight. You can register for it
on event right. And then also if you want to
reach directly to Joe, give out your phone number, web
address again if you would please, Joe.
Speaker 6 (25:43):
Sure, that's going to be Joe McCormick Dreams Business Resources.
The website's kind of long, so let's just go with
the phone number nine zero four six four three six
four zero six again four sixty four three six four
zero six. I am looking forward to the twenty ninth
(26:06):

Good morning, welcome back to the show. It is Saturday,
the nineteenth of July twenty twenty five. We're privileged to
be here at iHeartRadio in West Palm, Florida, where we're
now streaming on the iHeart app. I'm Rob the director
of Operations with the Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce.
This is one of our weekly radio programs called the
Best of South Florida Business News. With us is Steve Sunshine.
(27:12):
He's with five star visibility. They are the preferred digital
marketing company for the Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce.
You'll be able to see Steve at all the upcoming
events like next Saturday Miami Springs, the thirty first at
Riviera Beach, and then everything we've got going on for
the balance of this year and into the twenty sixth
calendar year. Steve, I want to get right into it
(27:32):
this morning. A question every small business struggles with their
digital marketing due to many reasons. Obviously there's a number
of them that you could identify. What, in your professional
opinion can a small business do to learn how to
do the right digital marketing for their business? Can you
elaborate do.
Speaker 12 (27:49):
On that, sir?
Speaker 6 (27:51):
Sure?
Speaker 10 (27:51):
Thank you Rob for having me first. For me, absolutely
thank you for that. I really appreciate the time. Well,
business is business, and digital marketing is just an aspect
of business. If you go back fifteen twenty years, the
advice everyone was saying put your URL your domain name
on your grocery bags and on your checkout bags so
(28:14):
people learn your website. That was the basic instructions twenty
years ago. Imagine how far we've come today, where now
your digital marketing is integrated with everything that you do
as a company. So pretty soon digital marketing will go
away and it's just marketing. But to answer the question,
a first thing a small business really needs to do
(28:36):
is define their company goals. If you don't know what
your goals are as a company, like how many customers
you need, or how many sales dollars you need, or
how many leads do you need to fill your funnels
and fill your pipeline, then you're starting out without the
right information. If you need one hundred sales a week,
(28:58):
you need a certain marketing program. If you need one
sale a week, you need a totally different marketing program.
So defining your goals is what most businesses fail at.
They just say I need more customers. Well, if you
don't define how many customerss you need, you can't define
its strategy to acquire those companies. So that's number one.
(29:20):
Define your goals. Then number two would be to monitor
your competitors. You need to know what your customers are
seeing when they're shopping around. What does your competitors say,
What products are they promoting, what services, what pricing? So
you need to compete against your competitors. That's right, they
(29:41):
called competitors to compete against. So understanding your competitors that
means checking them every week, and maybe it takes you
five minutes just to kind of keep an eyeball on
them to know what they're pushing, what they're not pushing,
and so forth. Number three is you need to take
a a deep inventory and an honest assessment of what
(30:03):
you're doing. Now, what does your marketing materials look like?
Are they all organized? Are they very professionally done? Are
they saying the same message? Is an outdated message? Is
it look inferior? Did your company change logos and you're
using your old messaging and your old paperwork and things
like that. So take an assessment of everything you have
(30:25):
and also look at the resources. Who's good at writing
who's good at doing artwork, who is responsible for this
part of your business strategy. So again you're all looking
inward first to make sure everything is in line to
be able to be an effective and strategic business. Fourth,
(30:46):
then you define a strategy. After you're done the first three,
you have to define a strategy and you should write
it up, and you should put it up on the
wall and stare at it every day. We need to
do these five steps and every day make sure you're
doing those steps, or if they're sequential in nature, make
sure you did step one. Now you're on step two.
It's just making your marketing a real scientific type method.
(31:13):
If you make it visible and tangible, everyone can get
on board. If it's just inside your head as the
business owner and no one else knows what you really
strategy is, then your whole team isn't pulling in the
right same direction. Lastly, the fifth item I'll cover is
that once you do all this and you start implementing it,
(31:34):
you've got to be able to say, you know what,
we can't get it done effectively, and then you need
to bring in professional help because the alternative is if
you can't get it done, it ain't getting done, and
you ain't having sales and sorry to use the word
ain't so much, but it's the right word. You ain't
going to be in business for long, so you have
(31:56):
to understand that if you can get it done, great,
keep going or bring in professional help. You need marketing
pros agencies or more staff or whatever to get it done,
because if you don't pay attention to your marketing, sales
will slow up and eventually dry up completely. So yeah,
(32:19):
it's a scary proposition, but it's something you have to
work at and really assign people to do it, and
really monitor it and keep improving. That's my basic five
step on how to do the right digital marketing.
Speaker 2 (32:36):
Awesome, I love it, Steve, have very very informative, very effective.
We've got a couple of minutes left. Also, Steve, please
tell us about your monthly special on Google business profile
marketing for local companies to get more local customers. Elaborate
on that please.
Speaker 6 (32:50):
Sure.
Speaker 10 (32:51):
One of the real gems in digital marketing, something that
is so powerful and valuable that most people ignore it
or don't even know about it, is your Google business profile.
It's the way your local company shows up in Google
Search when someone searches for pizza near me, or a
bail bondsman or a marketing agency. What Google tries to
(33:14):
give you is the best local choices for links, and
it's usually displayed in what's called the map pack, where
you see three listings right next through the map and
you see little pins on the map for all the businesses.
That is extremely valuable for a local company. It's a
free service from Google, and you can do it all yourself.
(33:36):
There's thousands of articles and tutorials and how to do
it yourself, or you can hire an agency like ours
that is experts at this and can drive the most
activity from the efforts as compared to you doing it yourself.
We have a special that is three hundred dollars off
(33:56):
each month. It's regularly six ninety nine, but we have
it on sale for three ninety nine where will do
everything for you on your Google business profile, will make
your phone ring, will make your website clicks and visitors grow,
and will have people ask for directions and show them
how to get to your local business. This is good
(34:17):
for service businesses like hvac repair people and plumbers, and
it's good for storefronts like restaurants or nail salons who
rely on local business local customers that need to find them.
Google knows that people want local representation for the businesses
(34:37):
they're looking for. They lean towards that local solution. So
if you're in Boca ratone and you're looking for someone
to fix your brakes, they're going to show you all
the people close to where you're physically located. And if
you don't have excuse me, if you don't have a
good Google business profile that's optimized, your competitors will show
(34:58):
up and you won't. They'll get the business. So we
offer this service three ninety nine a month. We'll do
it all for you. Is no contract and you can
quit it any time, but six months is probably the
best amount of time to really get it optimized and
working right and driving business to you.
Speaker 2 (35:16):
Steve, I heard that music. Go ahead and give everyone
your contact information before we sign off this morning and
let know how then get ahold of you.

Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It is Saturday,
the nineteenth of July twenty twenty six. We're privileged to
be here this morning, West Palm Beach, Florida. iHeartRadio Warm
now streaming on the iHeart app. My name is Rob.
I'm the director of Operations with the Greater South Florida
Chamber of Commerce. This is one of our weekly radio
programs called the Best of South Florida Business and with
us is a new corporate member. Her name is Amanda
(37:19):
Saint Till and she works with creative crafts and events.
And I wanted you to give a little background on
your organization. What you do. Obviously, what you're doing is
a hybrid thing. I know you do multiple things. There's
some moving parts with it. Give out the web address,
give out your contact information, phone number, Instagram, how whatever
(37:43):
it is that you want people to identify you with
or Google information. So we can ask you a few
questions about what you're doing, what you have going on,
and the other thing that's neat is a week from today,
from noon until five pm, you'll be able to meet
Amanda in person. She'll be with us in Miami Springs
at the Community Center from noon to five for the
(38:03):
Holistic Healthcare and Business Sex. But we're doing there.
Speaker 3 (38:05):
Go ahead, Amanda, Hey, good morning.
Speaker 14 (38:08):
My name is Amanda. I am the owner of Creative
Class an Event. I do service the Miami, Florida area
in Barrett County. So my business. I actually started my
business once I was fourteen years old.
Speaker 12 (38:21):
I started doing.
Speaker 14 (38:22):
Crafts in my grandmother's living room and from there I
started doing crafts and recently I did expand on doing events.
So I do all type of events, corporate events, birthday parties,
baby showers, you name it, I do it. You can
reach me at Creative Crafts an Event at dot com
where you can fill out my air grat forms, or
(38:44):
you can find my Instagram Creative class and Events that
is with a K, or if you would like to
call me, my phone number is seven eighty six three
to eight eight two one two and you can call
or text anytime during the day. Yeah, that's just a
little bit about me.
Speaker 2 (39:02):
Now, Amanda, how did you get what got you into
this line of work, because obviously it takes us. You
have to have a unique perspective to do this I've
done for a number of years. You have to be
thick skins. You have to be able to deal with people.
Obviously what you do and you do well. But you
know that no one customer and no one client is
the same. Everybody's kind of unique in their own retrospect.
Speaker 14 (39:26):
So that is kind of my goal, right, So everything
that I do is customed to my client. I never
typically duplicate anything I do. So when I was young,
I just had an eye for being creative and like
making the little nck knick knacks and things like that.
Actually started doing winning letters. I used to paint them
and I would decorate them a ryting stones, and then
(39:49):
from there I just expanded on different ventures of like
doing clothing, and now I do like full service events.
Speaker 2 (39:57):
I like that. Now, are there any an industry classifications
that would be excluded from working with you? Or do
you work with everyone across the board?
Speaker 14 (40:06):
I'll work for everybody across the board.
Speaker 2 (40:07):
I like that. That's neat, because you know, it seems
like I don't like the analogy but they always say
you can't fit a square peg into a round hole.
But I've always found that if you scale and you
scale back and you take a look at everything, there's
usually a way to identify with an organization where they
(40:28):
might not want everything that you're offering. They might not
need this, they might not want that, they might not
need this, but oh, we definitely want this aspect of
what you're doing. So when you know and if you
can scale it and you can find a way to
do that for people, it's really really effective. And you know,
we're excited about working with you and helping you brand
yourself and you know, giving people an opportunity to work
(40:49):
with a company like yours. They may not need an
organization like ours that puts on larger events, but they
may need to. Not to say you don't, but I'm
just saying they may. They may need something from a
different So we're really excited about the collaboration and really
open to the ideas, and I'm looking forward to working
with you in brainstorming with you. Have some ideas on
some things I would love to do in Dayden Broward kended.
(41:11):
I'm sure you'll be able to help with so very
very excited. I'm sure you're excited about the event coming
up next Saturday.
Speaker 14 (41:19):
Yes, I am very excited. So I will have a
backdrop where people do have opportunities to take pictures. It's
going to be a hallewy, a Hollywood backdrop. So it's
going to be like, let's creato craft an event, throw
out the red carpet for you.
Speaker 2 (41:33):
I love it. I love that. That's a very neat theme,
very neat theme. So, now, how long have you been
in business, Samanna.
Speaker 14 (41:42):
Doing the events. I've only been doing events for about
a year.
Speaker 2 (41:46):
But yes, that's hey, you know what, the first year
is always the toughest. Congratulations, kudos and hats off to
you and your team. You know, most businesses, I don't
know if you've heard this or not, but most businesses
either fail within a ninety to ninety day to six
month window or two hundred and seventy days or under
a year. So when you get to that year landmark
(42:07):
and you're in business, you know, obviously you've got things
that you want to do, things the ways you want
to grow and increase business for your organization. But by
the same token, you know you're doing the right thing.
You're getting your name out there, and obviously that's important
years now. Are there any promotions that you're offering right
now as we're coming into summer where it's a little
(42:29):
slower going into fall where things will pick up. Is
there anything that you're doing from a promotional standpoint or
are there any key services or key aspects of what
you offer that you'd like to make people aware of
this morning.
Speaker 10 (42:42):
Yes.
Speaker 14 (42:43):
So if you do message me radio, I will be
offering twenty percent off of your first booking that you
lived with me. Is that doesn't matter if it's a
party or if there's a custom craft that you have
me create for you.
Speaker 2 (42:57):
Wow, that's very very interesting. Now. Is there like a
website or a landing page or an Instagram page where
people can go to to see some of the stuff
that you've made.
Speaker 10 (43:08):
Yes.
Speaker 14 (43:08):
So my instagram is Creative Crafts and Events. You can
which felt with the key you can find all my
events that I've done or all the crafts that I've
created on there. Thinking with my website is Creative Crafts
and Events dot com. You can actually see all of
I have digital files that you can buy for me
(43:30):
if you don't want to do a party. But you
can also see some parties that I've done. You can
book a conversation with me on there. All my links
are there. That's where you can reach me.
Speaker 2 (43:41):
Interesting, well, I'm hearing that music in the background. We
got about forty five seconds left. What I'd like for
you to do is give out your phone number and
your pertinent contact information one more time till we have
you on next segment.
Speaker 14 (43:51):
Go ahead, all right, So you can find me at
Instagram and that would be Creative Crafts and Events dot
credit craft and Events or my web site Creativecraftevents dot com.
And then my phone number would be seven eighty six
three two eight eight two one two, or if you
would like to email me, that would be admin at
(44:11):
Creative Passanevents dot com.
Speaker 2 (44:13):
And everything is spelt with the ka Amanda Centail. Thank
you so much. You have a wonderful Saturday. Looking forward
to being with you next Saturday from noon until five
in Miami Springs at the Miami Springs Community Center. God
bless and have a wonderful weekend. Thank you so.
Speaker 14 (44:29):

Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It is the
nineteenth of July. Saturday, July nineteenth, twenty twenty five, it
has been extremely wet, warm, and humid. Next Saturday, from
noon until five, you'll be able to meet our next guest.
It is Agnes and Angel from New Health Partner and
they're going to be Corporate Trust the Ambassadors in the
(45:27):
twenty twenty five to twenty six calendar year and they're
going to be exhibiting with us at the Miami Springs
Holistic Health Fare and Business Sexpo at the Miami Springs
Adult Community Center from noon until five next Saturday. I
want to get right into it this morning. How are you, Agnes, Angel.
Speaker 15 (45:43):
Okay, terrific. Well, I will start with myself. I'm Agnes
S DONNERD and again I work with New Health Partners.
My contact number is seven eighty six five seven to
one zero three four three and my email address is
Agnes g n E s at New Health Partner without
(46:04):
the S dot com. We I currently work for the
brokerage side of the agency side of our business, but
I brought Angel Pees with me that he has a
wealth of knowledge regarding the company and I'll let him
dig in a little bit more after he talks about
his contact information as well.
Speaker 12 (46:25):
Thank you, Agnes, Rob, thank you for having us. We're
angel Perees UH New Help Partner.
Speaker 3 (46:30):
I am.
Speaker 12 (46:31):
Actually my background is on the creative side, so I'm
the creative director for the company, so I've seen all
the branding elements and everything that we bring, including a
lot of the technology. So I've been a bridge to
you know, to carry the message to you know, both
uh the potential anyone needing health insurance and also all
the agents and carriers that are that are part of
(46:54):
the uh the space in the industry.
Speaker 10 (46:56):
UH.
Speaker 12 (46:56):
My website is New Health Partner dot com again with yes,
and I am angel at Newhopartner dot com Angel.
Speaker 2 (47:05):
There's a couple of things that separate you significantly from
other people within the industry, you know, rather than the norm,
if you will, for lack of better grammar, touch on
what it is that you feel is a little bit
different about your organization versus some of the other companies
that are out there.
Speaker 14 (47:24):
Go ahead.
Speaker 12 (47:25):
Yeah, So I think it comes down to really the
tone of our CEO.
Speaker 11 (47:30):
Uh.
Speaker 12 (47:30):
He he has his name is Tony Fejo, and he
really mean he's he started the company and he really
got into this business from the ground up, and he
sets the tone as far as the humanity side of
the company and also not just that, but in the
practical sense the technology part. So he is I make
you know, I have a lot of funowing with my thumb.
(47:50):
And he's a cool nerd. So he's really into all
the all the new toys and all the technology that's
coming out. Uh and he's really incorporated. But more than that,
he's just a great hum being. The way he's done
you know, it's it seems it's very corporate, it's very
it could be cold sometimes, but the way he's approached
that he's helped so many people and he says, you
(48:11):
know someone who is desperate that needs coverage because they
have they can't cover a surgery, or they can't cover
but they have a new medical condition. He's really gone
out of his way to help him in every way.
So it's a rewarding side. And he's instilled that in
everyone in the company as far as you know, helping
you know, individuals, families, companies, employers, employees. So that's really
(48:36):
setting the tone.
Speaker 10 (48:36):
On his side.
Speaker 3 (48:38):
You know.
Speaker 2 (48:38):
That's I'm glad that you touched on that because I
was speaking about that with Agnes a few weeks ago.
I'm fifty eight, fifty nine this year and last year
for other than athletic injuries. First time in my life
I ever had to go through anything and a couple
of tumors removed. It was really pretty scary because I
had two laproscopic procedures done within a thirty day window,
and then prior to that, during my pre op, it
(48:59):
came up and I didn't even know what it was,
and it was just really really puzzling and perplexing to
go through that. But one of the things that attracted
me to your company from the onset was you were
so punctual, Like when I'd asked for someone to look
up a couple of different things for me regarding certain things,
from a prescription to a question I had about certain coverages.
(49:20):
You were just very thorough got back to me like
within a matter of hours. And that's not the norm.
You know, a lot of times people are left in limbo,
and there's nothing worse than having something that's going on
within your life that you have no control over and
you want nothing more than to be able to come
up with a viable option. You know, it's just an
unsolved opportunity at that point, but it can be perplexing,
(49:41):
and that was one of the things I think to
be done. It really really impressed me about your organization,
and then I took a look at your organization from
top to bottom online you have a stellar of five
star reviews. There's a number of people out there who
have had positive experiences working with your company, and we
all know that that's not necessarily the way it always
goes within that industry, or any industry for that matter,
(50:02):
because unfortunately, in twenty twenty five, we've found that a
customer service can be a lost art regardless of who
you're dealing with. But I think it's really neat to
see a company out there like yours that's taken the
extra time to dot the eyes, cross all the t's
and make sure that the people you're dealing with are
left with a good feeling. That's amazing.
Speaker 12 (50:22):
Oh wait, we appreciate that. That's a great testimonial. Actually, Robert,
really appreciate that. And I hope you're doing okay. And yes,
that's really the sign of the times. As you get older.
You take a lot of this for granted as you're
young and you're not in need, But when when the
moment comes and you're you know, you're you're you're looking
for answers.
Speaker 6 (50:39):
I think there's just having.
Speaker 12 (50:41):
The calmness that you can have someone that's really looking
out for you if you want to.
Speaker 15 (50:46):
Yeah, I just want to add to that, rob You know,
what I like to say is we are fortunate enough
that because Tony, you know, was able to start this
from the bottom up, not only do we we have
many resources, so that's another reason why we're able to
help lend a hand when necessary. And then we also
have thirteen medical clinics under our you know, under our belts,
(51:10):
so not only does he have the heart, but we
also have the resources to do the things that we
do within the community, and I think it makes it
that much easier to do what we have to do
and be who we are.
Speaker 2 (51:22):
That's a community that's amazing. I'm hearing that music in
the background. We got about half a minute to a
minute left. Want you to give out your contact information again,
and we want to have you on next week again
and want to do a segment. You know, coming into
twenty twenty five, there's so much noise, a lot of
change within the landscape of Medicare and Medicaid, and I
want to have you on so we can touch on
(51:42):
that as we get ready to go into open enrollment
in twenty twenty five. But go ahead where we signed
up this morning and give out your contact information one
more time.
Speaker 15 (51:51):
Okay, this is Agnes donnerd whre New Health Partners. I
can be reached at seven eighty six five seven one
zero three four three, and my email is it's a
at New Health Partner minus CS dot com.
Speaker 3 (52:05):
Angel and yes it's Angel for us, it's Angel at
New Health Partner dot com. And while we really appreciate
that and we're we're very much taken. You know what's
coming in as far as the changes in the in
the health industry out of Washington. So that's one we
are very active with CMS. That's one of the tonies
(52:26):
always in visiting Washington. So I think that would be
a great opportunity for us to really get into that
all the changes that are coming.
Speaker 6 (52:33):
So I appreciate that absolutely.
Speaker 2 (52:35):
And before we sign up, this morning, on the twenty
sixth of July, from noon until five pm, you can
