Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Greater South Florida Chamber Radio program with
your host to board President John Kroll of Kroll Realty.
Speaker 2 (00:16):
Good morning, Welcome back to the Greater South Florida Chamber
of Commerce radio program. We're privileged to be here on Saturday,
February fifteenth, twenty twenty five, where we're now streaming on
the iHeart app. We're privileged to be here this morning
at iHeartRadio in West Palm Beach, Florida, have with us
brand new corporate trustee, Ambassador's Borders Insurance, with us as
the principal of that company, Joel Borders. Joel, what I'd
(00:38):
like for you to do this morning? We got about
eight or nine minutes. I want you to introduce yourself.
Want you to give about your name, the name of
your company, your website, your phone number, web address, let
people know how they can get a hold of you.
And the ironic thing about what you do. Rather than
working for one of the larger companies that only does
certain things, you're a full service insurance agency and obviously
(01:02):
you multitask in your hybrid. But the way what I'm
trying to explain to the listing audience is that you
do multiple things, and you do things other organizations don't,
so touch on that for everybody I know you do
a little bit of everything. Go ahead, sir, Hey.
Speaker 3 (01:16):
Good morning, Rob. I'm jow Borders with Borders Insurance and
basically you kind of hit the nail on the head.
We are unique in that we can offer all the
services for medicare, help with getting medicaid for those who
need it, life and annuities, annuity products through our agency.
(01:40):
See Unlike typical people, we actually find the best insurance
for our clients' needs. As opposed to just being a
one service all and trying to fit just the products
of one company to a person. We do multiple truck
there with all of the companies that offer these services
(02:04):
and then we go out and find the one that
fits your need. That's what we do and that's what
makes us unique. We can come to you, we can
be a full service provider. We try to help out
in the community so we can get out there and
if you need us to come to certain sites and
do certain events, we're open to doing all of those
(02:25):
that service that area. Service people that really want to
know and have knowledge about health insurance, life insurance and annuities.
So Rob, I appreciate you having us on, having me
on today. We can be reached at Vocial Insurance. That's
b O I H O T I N s U
(02:45):
I n CE dot com. That's our website. I can
be reached by sale at three one four four eight
six nine three eight two and our office hours are
from eight am to six pm Monday through Saturday.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Joe, how'd you get into the business? I know you've
been doing it for a number of years. What a
little bit on you how you got into it?
Speaker 3 (03:09):
Basically, my background and my partner's background as an operations
management I do a lot of corporate work and finance,
and in my particular instance, I had a grandmother who
after our mother after my mother passed away and my
mother passed away first, I was kind of left taking
(03:30):
care of her, and in that instance, you know, I
had to navigate Medicare and other insurance and I just
saw the need and decided that there were probably thousands
of more people like my grandmother who just really needed
help and in the later years, so I got into it.
(03:51):
Originally I went to school for finance, so the annuity
piece and helping people plan their financial piece as they retire.
I had done that earlier in my career, working for
several pokerage firms around the area. So that's kind of
how I got into it, and I got a passion
(04:14):
for it. I just really want to help people, and
medicare is changing every day and our need of changing
each and every day.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
That is true, You're right about that, and it's an
ever changing landscape. And your professional opinion, obviously, I know
that there was some I don't want to say wholesale changes,
but I know that there were some stark changes that
happened to that are actually transpiring as you and I
speak in early twenty twenty five. In your professional opinion,
what do you see as one of the bigger misconceptions
(04:48):
people make when they pick their plans or what are
some of the things that you see that you wish
people would not do that you try to steer them
away from if you would go ahead.
Speaker 3 (04:57):
Well, I think people, as we all get old and
we age, we really don't want to change and it's
kind of forced. The biggest misconception with the landscape with
medicare now is that we believe that, you know, the
government is going to take care of everything and make
it easier for us. And the reality is is that
(05:21):
the government has subcontracted most of medicare out to individual
insurance companies and providers, so you know, they're just going
to do what they've always done and know to do
and try to run the systems the way they are.
They're not trying to spend any extra money to make
it any easier for consumer. So this year's changed with
(05:42):
prescription drug cover where if you don't know what an
HSA is and you have no experience with that, most
people don't know that that two thousand dollars that you're
supposed to pay for prescription drugs this year, that you
can actually divide it in the monthly pay. You know,
it's as opposed to trying to swallow it all and
(06:03):
run prescription for the first two months for the first
quarter of the year. So there's those types of tools
that help them win. I can help them set up
the HSA so that it's a little more suitable and
financially easing as you go throughout the years. Opposed to
handling it all there was And again medicator or federal
(06:23):
government won't really explain that to you in detail or
how to do it. They just kind of throw the
information out there and people try to do what they've
always done and then end up with some huge medical
bills in the first quarter of the year, and that's
that's preventable.
Speaker 2 (06:40):
Yeah, we're really excited about working with you. I know
the fact that you handle the annuities, you handle dental,
do a lot of different things. I think it's going
to be really really important that what we get an
opportunity to do with you is just get your information
out to as many people as possible. Set stuff up
for you to come out to the events where you'll
be doing stuff with us. I know you'll be Savannah
(07:00):
with us. We could go yesterday. I'm Friday the twenty first,
and Stuart from ten thirty to two thirty. And you'll
be with us at iHeartRadio here on Friday the twenty eighth,
when we're doing our business xpo from three pm till
seven pm. Here that music in the background, that means
we got about a minute left. What I want for
you to do before we sign off this morning, give
(07:22):
out your contact information again, and then I want you
to touch on anything you're doing right now that you
want to share with the listening audience. Whether it's promotions
or whatever it may be. Go ahead because we'll be
doing a series of interviews with you over the next
few months in the course of the year. Thank you, Joel,
go ahead.
Speaker 3 (07:37):
Hey, thank you again. I'm Joel Borders. We're Borders Insurance.

Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It's Saturday, the fifteenth,
February twenty twenty five. We're privileged to be here this
morning at iHeartRadio in West Palm Beach, Florida, where we're
now streaming on the iHeart app, have with us Corporate
Trustee Ambassador Joe McCormick. Joe, what I'd like for you
to do is give everyone your pertinent contact information, web address,
phone number out and get ahold of you folks. On
(09:18):
the twenty eighth of this month, which was two weeks
from yesterday, Joe will be with us at the business
ex what we're doing right here at iHeartRadio in the
Brave and Theater Room from three pm till seven pm.
You can meet him in person.
Speaker 6 (09:32):
Go ahead, Joe, Hey, everybody. Joe McCormick with Truemark Health.
We are a health efficiency provider. We offer employers and
employees to receive an incredible plan to put some on
the right track to good health. Employers will realize a
(09:52):
six hundred dollars a year per employee per year savings,
and the employees themselves actually get a bump and pay
anywhere from one hundred to one hundred and twenty dollars
per month. It's a great plan. Employees are going to
love the no copays, no deductibles, no co insurance. I
can be reached at nine zero four six four three
(10:14):
sixty four zero six again nine zero four sixty four
three sixty four zero six, or you can go right
to our website and do a lot of due diligence
there www dot truemark, dashealth dot com. That's www dot
truemark t r U m A r K dash health
(10:35):
dot com.
Speaker 2 (10:37):
Joe. There's a lot of things going on out there.
There's a lot of moving parts. What do you want
to share with the listening audience this morning? What would
you like to enlighten them about what you've got going on?
Speaker 6 (10:49):
Well, uh, major medical if you're with a company that
offers a major medical plan or perhaps nothing else. The
copays and the deductibles and the clunkiness of a plans,
if you will, are difficult to use. Employees suffer the
pain of that, and of course HR and the employers
(11:09):
do as well. We bring something to the table that
is the first line of defense that's going to keep
those premiums down on those other plans. We don't disrupt them,
we don't interfere with them. It's an overlay, if you will.
So this is something truly they can sink their teeth
into enjoy. It's fun to use, it comes with an
app and if anything's going to make a little improved
(11:34):
health exciting, this sure does.
Speaker 2 (11:38):
I like the fact that you're able to do this
for people because of the fact that there are so
many different things going on right now. It seems like
it's a very busy time in America across the board.
Twenty twenty five seems to be a paradigm shift going on.
There's so many different things that people are up against,
and if there's way to simplify things. And obviously I
(11:59):
like the fact that you're talking about bringing costs down
rather than having them multiply and go up. That's so
important in today's economy.
Speaker 6 (12:07):
Sir, absolutely, Rob absolutely, and again the employer, the business
itself can give the employees a raise and so to speak,
a beautiful plan. In turn, they save about six hundred
dollars per year per employee impact payroll savings, So it's
a win win for everybody.
Speaker 2 (12:28):
Rob Any restrictions on that. Can you give parameters? Is
there like a certain number of employees that you need
to have? Is there certain industry classifications that are restricted?
Can you touch on that?
Speaker 6 (12:40):
Yeah, absolutely, no restrictions on the class of business. They
do like to see twenty w two employ employees to
join the plan, but we can go from twenty all
the way to twenty thousand. We actually have a couple
of companies in excess of two thousand employees.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Now here in the state of Florida and throughout California,
my home state. I know it's prevalent in Texas as
well as certain New York cities and New York State's
and another one. There are a number of companies out
there nationally Joe that have eighty ninety percent of their
employees as W two employees. A lot of it's tied
into health insurance and retirement packages, but there's also the
(13:22):
people that are the ten ninety nine independent contractors. Would
they be someone that had both, would they be excluded?
Speaker 6 (13:31):
You know, at this time I would say yes, they
would be excluded because this is working off payroll taxes
employees that are actually having taxes taking out, whereas your
ten ninety nine file on their own. But I believe
that they are working on something as far as association
plans down the way, So keep your fingers crossed on that.
(13:53):
That would be excellent because as you know, I'm one
of those ten ninety nine.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
So nothing wrong with that, Nothing wrong with that. I
know that there's a lot of stuff going on in
our country, and obviously, you know, everybody knows how prevalent
healthcare is, and everybody knows how prevalent payroll taxes are.
So if you are a small business or a mid
size business and you're ensuring your people and you're employing
your people, obviously you're going to want to try to
(14:19):
set up some time to talk with Joe. So I
mentioned not to be redundant. He's going to be out
at all the upcoming events. Will be with us here
on the twenty eighth of February from three pm till
seven pm. At the event we're doing here at iHeartRadio.
He'll also be with us on the third of April
at the Business Expo, Healthfare and golf tournament we're doing
(14:42):
at jack around a country club and plantation. They'll be
involved with that as well, and a number of other
things that are going on. So you know, we got
a minute or two left, Joe. What I'd like for
you to do is go ahead and give out your
contact information again, and then I want you to share
anything that you want to share with the listening audience
this morning that you've it would be beneficial regarding your platform.
Go ahead, Thanks.
Speaker 6 (15:04):

true Mark Health. We offer a tax health efficiency plan

Speaker 2 (16:28):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It is the
fifteenth of February twenty twenty five. We are privileged to
be here at iHeartRadio in West Palm Beach, Florida, where
we're now streaming on the iHeart app. It has definitely
warmed up. It's going to be a warm one this weekend.
With us this morning is longtime corporate Trustee Ambassador doctor
Cynthia Ann hayes Hurst. She's a doctor of Acupuncture and
(16:49):
Oriental Medicine nationally Board certified acupuncture position, and she's also
the Advasy Chair for Florida State Oriental Medical Association, also
known as FSOMA or SOMA. She specializes in heart and
lung health and physical medicine and rehabilitation and folks in
the listening audience, So, I want everyone to know February
(17:10):
is National Heart Health Month and if SOMA would like
to highlight the benefits of using traditional Chinese medicine to
improve heart and cardiovascular health. Medical research confirms the importance
of lifestyle, nutrition and exercise. What I want to do
is get out of your way and let you touch
on these fine talking points and share with the listening
(17:31):
audience anything that you feel would be beneficial with everything
going on. And welcome with us this morning. Again. We
really look forward to having you at all the upcoming events.
Can't wait to have you out at the expo we're
doing here on February twenty eighth. Go ahead, doctor, thank you, Rob.
Speaker 7 (17:47):
I would like to highlight the fact that there's a
lot of research coming out now that is able to
confirm what thousands of years of Chinese medicine has shown
there's benefits. However, we like to see things and studies
online and we've found they've recently been publishing a lot
of things about heart health, being that this is Heart
(18:07):
Health Month, and there's a lot of things that confirms
that our diet, our lifestyle, and attrition all pay off.
What makes hearts and lungs work better always is exercise.
Paying good attention to our diet is going to help
us have less fats in our system to be more
efficient in using our nutrition, and the things that we
(18:27):
eat are actually supposed to support our bodies functions. So
mitochondria is our storehouses of energy inside every cell of
our body, and they found that by using some of
our herbal medicines, we're able to actually boost the energy
production of the cells so that they can heal and
repair and do a better job and we can have
less inflammatory responses. So when I was going through the
(18:50):
research to share it online this month, there were three
articles that we publish that you'll be able to find online.
They'll be Sosoma dot org. I think there's also the
second site is Acupuncturefla dot org, where you can also
look up practitioners in your local area. If you're interested
in trying to improve your health, and there's an eight
(19:13):
hundred number two one, eight hundred and five seven eight
four eight six ' five. But these new articles that
are coming out are showing how we can prevent prolonged
or even reverse some of the some of the negative
outcomes even after you've had a stemy or sudden cardiac
(19:33):
heart attack. They actually have shown outcomes where they have
done much better over the course of the year by
using a combination of Eastern medicine, lifestyle, herbal medicine, nutrition
along with our pharmaceuticals that we use in Western medicine.
So that is very encouraging, and they're looking for ways
to do more and more opportunities of integrating the two together.
(19:58):
So that's very exciting, being an exciting time for health.
The other thing that I wanted to talk about was
vascular health is not just our heart, but it's also strokes,
So stroke recovery patients, preventing strokes, transient escheme attacks is
a fall under this vascular health and that also is
(20:21):
caused by inflammation. It's caused by blood clotting, and traditional
Chinese medicine can be very helpful in helping improve in
smooth blood flow in circulation as well. So there's a
lot of exciting things that can be done, and it
doesn't have to be just one kind of medicine or
the other. They can be used together.
Speaker 2 (20:43):
That's important because I shared with you off air, and
I shared because you know, you and I have become
friends and I really enjoy working with you and your organization.
You're stellar. And twenty twenty four, you know, I turned
from fifty seven to fifty eight and it was the
weirdness share of my life. You know, I was in
great shape and all of a sudden gain and weight.
Can't figure out what's going on. It's not from eating.
(21:05):
You know, had some tumors, removed leposcopically, but came up
with aphib and I didn't even know i'd had it,
and I'd had it for years. Apparently very very dangerous
and I thank goodness it's under control now. But i'd
shared that with you. That's you know, a lot of
people in our country a FIB and they let it go.
They have strokes, they have heart attacks, and cardiovascular is
(21:25):
a key thing. And myself now I'm feeling much much better,
exercising again regularly off of medication other than a metropolo
and baby aspirin, and just really, really, really it's been
a blessing because there's so many people that go through
those things and they just don't I don't know if
they don't care, they just turn a blind eye to it.
(21:46):
And there's a lot of people out there too, doctors
you can attach it, that don't even have insurance, so
they don't see a practitioner on a regular basis. So
they kind of rolled the dices they did centuries ago,
and it's really unfortunate to see that. What I like
is the fact that your organization is thirty five thousand
plus strong that you can no matter where you're at
in the state of Florida, you can reach out to
(22:08):
their organization and they can put you in contact with
someone that can help you. And obviously they're doing the
next right thing. They're dotting all the eyes, they're crossing
all the t's extremely accessible, bedside manners, excellent, very professional group,
and it's just neat to see you interact with people
at the events. And I'm really excited about the event,
(22:28):
but also I'm extremely excited about the event coming up
on the twentieth of March at the habitat Fen Center
in Fort Pierce World. There'll be a number of people
from your organization conducting workshops, speaking seminars. We're anticipating a really,
really good turnout for that event. You know, we've got
three four minutes left. I want you to take the
(22:49):
rain and anything you want to touch on, any promotions
that are going on through you personally, anything happening through
your organization that you want to make people aware of,
go ahead and touch on that if you would.
Speaker 7 (22:58):
Please, Well, I want to go back to the cardiovascular disease.
So most people are like, they don't really realize there's
a problem until it's catastrophic, till they're in the hospital.
They had the heart attack, they had the stroke. What
they don't realize is that there's a whole bunch of
little signs that add up to that, Like there's hypertension.
You might be getting blood pressure pills and blood pressure
(23:19):
pills and tripling your blood pressure pills, and your doctor's
still mystified about what's happening with you. When you start
having problems where you know that something's off, that's the
best time. That's a time where you have the best
opportunity to prevent something catastrophic from happening. So those are
the times when you really should start acting rather than
(23:40):
we always like to put it off. It'll get better.
It's only once in a while, it's not that often.
I don't think it's been going on that long, and
then you start thinking about it and you're like, oh,
my gosh, actually it's happening more often. It's been going
on a lot longer than I remembered it was going on.
For hold on a second, I think this is actually
a problem. I need to go find my provider. Personally,
(24:02):
I have all kinds of exciting things going on with
advocacy for the State of Florida.
Speaker 2 (24:06):
We're going to.
Speaker 7 (24:07):
Start following a national calendar, trying to have a monthly theme.
So those things will be found online and you can
you can access that at fosoma dot org or ACUPUNCTUREFLA
dot org. If you have questions, you can also call
one eight one hundred and five seventy eight four eight
six five for more information. And I really look forward
(24:30):
to being that the next few events with you. It's
awesome to be around so many positive and energetic people
who are all out there trying to help.
Speaker 2 (24:37):
People definitely, that is a fact. We're really excited about
the fact that you're going to be with us on
the twenty eighth here at iHeart. We're excited about the
fact that you'll be with us in the month of
March at some events up on the Treasure Coast, including
habit Olfencenter on the twentieth. We're hoping to have someone
out at the Sabana next week on the twenty first,
(24:57):
if possible. We'll also be at the SA Symphony at
Stuart on the twelfth of March, and we'll be at
the Brendandy and Port Saint Lucy on the twenty sixth.
So and then obviously we also have the Spring Home
Show March twenty second and twenty third in Vero Beach
at the Indian River Mall, so I know you and
your team will be out there with us there as well.
Once again, I want to give you a chance to
(25:19):
give out the web address and the phone number how
people can get a hold of you and your organization.
And I thank you for your time this morning. Doctor.
Speaker 7 (25:26):
Thank you. It's ACUPUNCTUREFLA dot org and the phone numbers
one eight hundred five seven eight four eight six five
have a wonderful day.
Speaker 2 (25:34):
Thank you doctor.
Speaker 8 (25:40):
Are you suffering from stress, poor digestion, or lack of sleep?
Speaker 2 (25:43):
Acupuncture can help.
Speaker 8 (25:44):

Speaker 2 (26:10):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It's Saturday, the
fifteenth of February twenty twenty five. We're privileged to be
here in West Palm Beach, Florida at iHeartRadio, where we're
now streaming on the iHeart app. Have with us the
host of our weekly radio programs, John Kroll, Board President
Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce and CEO of Crow Reality.
He is offsite this morning working on a closing, and
(26:30):
we want to touch on something that's so important in
today's real estate market. I know, it's something that rears
its ugly head from time to time. Can be a
good thing, it can be pragmatic, it can be a
thing that can be kind of a pain in the
neck for people within the industry. Inspections and how prevalent
it is. Can you touch on the importance of home inspections, John,
(26:52):
as you're getting ready to purchase or sell a home,
Go ahead.
Speaker 9 (26:55):
Sir, Yes, good morning, Rob. Thanks for the call. I'm
sorry I'm not there with you.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
But duty calls absolutely.
Speaker 9 (27:05):
I Yeah. The inspection is an important part or the
process of buying, and it can create issues and you know,
and also exposing things. When people are looking to buy
a house, that's one of the requirements that they're going
to have to do because one important thing in the
(27:27):
inspection report. There's like three parts to it. There's the
general inspection of the home, and then there's a win
in the flood, you know, the elevation reports that you
have to have, and those two last reports are required
well required for the insurance companies because if your property
(27:50):
is up to current standards, then you get a better
rate for your insurance. A lot of times, you know,
it depends in the area that you're you're buying in
people that buying in the location where my office is,
on the east side of town in Fort Lauderdale and Broward.
Most of the homes were built many years ago and
(28:12):
the subdivisions already developed here. So the homes are you know,
built in the sixties seventies. So a lot of times
you'll have issues that people, you know are as a buyer,
you're not even aware of what you need to look for.
As a good as a good real estate agent, you're
going to look for these items. One problem that I had,
(28:36):
and you know, on the wind the codes changed because
of the storms that take a place here. The building
department is always changing the required certain like for instance,
I'll give you an example, like for roof trusses, they
used to have three nails in the straps. Now they
(28:57):
want three three nails in the straps. And a lot
of times, as are caught, I usually try to, you know,
deal with the pitfalls right from the get go when
I'm there with the inspector, to ask them questions and
reference to items that might affect the potential buyer, even
if it's not my client. I'm working with a seller.
(29:19):
You know, those things I can suggest to the other realtor, Hey,
you know, these are things that are going to come
up and are going to be an issue when you
try to get insurance. Another thing is as wiring. We
had an issue. We had a deal fall apart because
the inspector. Some of these inspectors just go to Gold
Coast and get their inspection license and they're not a
licensed contractor or that they don't know the trades. So
(29:41):
a lot of times they'll call inspections and it creates
a problem with the buyer because now you're dealing with
the buyer's remorse, our anxiety with the item that they call,
and then you have to correct them and get the
correct information. So do they believe you or believe the
guy that just got his license through you know, Old
Coast and can do inspections and get paid for it.
(30:04):
You know, I usually get rebuttaled these things with contractors
and so forth, which I have a handful of people
that I've worked with over the years. For instance, one
of the items, I'll give you an example cloth cloth
wiring in houses. Back in the day, a lot of
these houses are wired with cloth wiring. Well. From a
(30:25):
number of inspectors, the building code will allow that cloth
to be accepted because of the fact that if the
cloth has a rubber casing inside the cloth, then it's
insulated and it's properly okay. So this one inspector called
it and said that the wiring need to all be replaced,
(30:47):
which created a hardship. And it looks like our deals
going down the drain.
Speaker 2 (30:52):
Yeah, I saw something the other night. John, apologize and
I want to interrupt you, but I saw something the
other evening. In three years, I lived in Broward County
and the dayde for a while I lived in a
number of years now in West Boca, Luggers run and
I saw a segment because I get both Palm Beach
County TV and I get the Broward County TV stations,
there's an area of Broward County and then I guess
(31:12):
there's an area in Palm Beach County. They were talking
about it. Two good areas. I'm not going to go namesake,
but I know you know them where they're very influential areas.
I mean, i'm talking higher median income. I'd say, you
know eight on a scale at one to ten or better.
And there's thousands of homes that are thirty and forty
years old that have been renovated and flipped, that have
(31:32):
plumbing piping that's outdated.
Speaker 9 (31:34):
Yeah, yeah, polybuletine piping.
Speaker 2 (31:39):
So if you can't pass inspection with faulty piping correct.
Speaker 9 (31:43):
No, No, I mean they'll call that and that that
isn't That's a whole other issue too, because they have
that same problem here with the cast iron piping as
well and the plumbing, so that that is for you know,
stuff that's being released from the house and the other ones,
the water that's coming into the house. Starlight Cove is
(32:04):
a community that had all that polybulatine piping. You know,
you know, we know as agent, we know areas that
are those are one things that I ask for is
when I if I write a contract in there, first
thing I do is can I have a seller's disclosure
and I look for that and did they replace the
piping in here? Because these houses were built with this
(32:27):
defective piping. Wow, a lot of these contractors just like
the Chinese drywall that was the mess in Port Saint Lucie.
I mean they literally have to go in to rip
out all the drywall in the house and that drywall
eats the metal studs because most of the newer constructions
built with metal studs. That's how that's how bad that
stuff is. So but they got you know, obviously China
(32:52):
sell stuff cheaper, so contractors want to make the bottom line.
They put them in a lot of these homes and
had a nightmare.
Speaker 2 (33:01):
I mean that's you know, it's unfortunate that you see that.
It really is. It's amazing that that's still happening.
Speaker 9 (33:08):
You know, health defect and people get sick from that exactly.
Speaker 2 (33:12):
Well, I hear the music in the background. John, I
want you give everyone your contact information. Them know how
they can get ahold of you for a consultation.
Speaker 9 (33:21):
Yeah, that day. Anybody needs to contact me and needs
to talk about something they're have an issue with, a
with a deal or a problem. I'm not an attorney,
but I've been around where I can advise them for
different things. But you can reach me on my cell phone.

It's Saturday, February fifteenth, twenty twenty five. How the year
is moving quickly? One one out there. We're privileged to
be here this morning at iHeartRadio and West Palm Beach, Florida,
who we're now streaming on the iHeart app. Have with
this corporate trustee Ambassador Melissa Crecci with Melissa Crecci Insurance Solutions.
(34:56):
Talk a little bit about what you do, Melissa.
Speaker 11 (35:00):
It's an independent broker who specializes in Medicare. I mostly
work with clients who are new to Medicare due to age, retirement,
or disability. I host a free monthly educational workshop in
Jupiter for those who are new to Medicare or just
want a better understanding of it. We go over the
basics of Medicare, how A and B work, as well
as the two programs for coverage. I spend most of
(35:21):
my time enrolling new Medicare beneficiaries into Medigap or Medicare
Advantage plans. There's also an enrollment period available right now
to make plan changes for Medicare Advantage clients. After the
annual enrollment period ends, we enter a period called the
Open Enrollment period. This is a special election period that
gives Medicare Advantage beneficiaries the ability to make one plan
(35:43):
change between January first and March thirty first. This election
period only applies to Medicare Advantage beneficiaries. Part D recipients
cannot make any plan changes during this time.
Speaker 2 (35:55):
So what's the difference between Medicare Advantage and Medicare supplement.
Speaker 11 (35:59):
Medicare supplement works in conjunction with Original Medicare to pick
up the cost of original Medicare leaves you with. Generally,
you pay a monthly premium for your plan and it
picks up all part ay costs and the twenty percent
part B does not cover after you meet your deductible.
Of course, another great feature of a Medicare supplement is
the network. Original Medicare is a nationwide network. With a supplement,
(36:21):
you can seek treatment anywhere in the country and you'll
be covered as long as the provider accepts Medicare. This
is because Medicare is your primary coverage and your supplement
is secondary. The bill goes to Medicare first, and then
Medicare sends the portion it doesn't cover to your supplement.
Because of this, you don't have to worry about which
carrier you go with. As long as your provider accepts Medicare,
(36:42):
they'll accept your supplement. A Medicare advantage plan tends to
pro rate out the deductibles and co insurance that Medicare
leaves you with into a schedule of benefits. For example,
on a Medicare advantage plan, your hospital co pay is
usually about three hundred dollars a day for a week
three hundred times five is fifteen hundred dollars, which is
pretty close to the part A deductible original Medicare leaves
(37:03):
you with. The great thing about Medicare advantage is it
bundles all your benefits into one package and usually adds
extra benefits like dental, vision and hearing. In general, Medicare
advantage is HMO or PPO style plans, meaning they do
have a network of doctors. HMO plans are very strict
about their network, where PPO plans have internet and network benefits.
(37:26):
The great thing about Medicare advantage is there's usually no premium.
This makes it a great option for those living on
a fixed incomer strict budget.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
Who typically uses your service.
Speaker 11 (37:37):
Melissa, I have two main types of clients. The first
would be that turning sixty five crowd, or those who
have recently acquired Medicare Part B. These are people who
are new to the Medicare program and need help signing
up for it, understanding how it works, and finding healthcare coverage.
The other main type of client I get are those
who are either unhappy with their coverage or concerned with
(37:58):
the costs associated with their coverage. For those who are
new to Medicare, I have a special presentation that helps
break down the federal Medicare program and explain the differences
between Medicare Supplements or medigap plans and Medicare Advantage plans
or parts. I offer this workshop for free the last
Saturday of every month in Jupiter at the coffeehouse I
Need Coffee on Indian Town Road. For those who have
(38:20):
coverage already, I help shop for better rates or better
premiums or better benefits and generate custom quotes based on
their needs. With my Medicare Supplement clients, I'm able to
help find lower rates and assist them with the application
and medical underwriting process. I also help them renew their
part decoverage annually and make pharmacy and plan recommendations based
on the most up to date information available through Medicare
(38:42):
dot Gov. With my Medicare Advantage clients, I mostly help
them manage out of pocket costs by quoting them hospital
indemnity plans.
Speaker 2 (38:50):
What is a hospital indemnity quote?
Speaker 11 (38:52):
Hospital and demni plans are extra insurance you can carry
in conjunction with your Medicare advantage plan. It reimbursed you
for out of pocketing expenses associated with your coverage. For instance,
most Medicare advantage plans have a two hundred to four
hundred dollars a day copay for hospitalization. A hospital ANDDEMNI
plan reimburse you for the hospital copay, so your out
(39:14):
of pocket costs ends up being nothing. Many of these
indemnity plans have other benefits like er or urgent care
reimbursements MRI or outpatient surgery benefits, or even office visit reimbursements.
I sell two different indemnity plans with great benefits. One
of them is even guaranteed to be issued up to
age seventy four, meaning your health won't affect your ability
(39:35):
to get coverage. This type of coverage has a premium
associated with it, with monthly costs starting at around thirty
dollars and going up from there. These plans are fully
customizable and can be made to complement your plan specific
out of pockets. There's no enrollment season for indemnity plans.
You can purchase this coverage year round.
Speaker 2 (39:53):
What sets you apart from everyone else in the industry? Obviously,
I know that you're very effective. One of the things
that I like about you is you're very punctual. If
someone contacts you, you get back to them within a
matter of minutes, and you're always pleasant, and you really
seem to have the people's vested interest at heart, and
you don't instead of a cattle drive or I don't
(40:13):
like that, or scrap that, but you don't treat them
like a number. You're looking into people's livelihood because of
the fact that you really care about whether or not
they have proper coverage and that they're getting the most
out of their coverage. That's what I see from the
outside looking in. But I'm not well versed in the
industry like you are. What do you feel set you
apart from the industry, nor so.
Speaker 11 (40:34):
I feel like being an autoimmune patient. I really do
have a unique experience. I'm able to empathize with my
clients on a really personal level, and I just want
to help them feel secure. I also like to point
out to my clients that I'm still young, not like
a lot of other agents, being in my thirties. I
plan to be around for many years, assuring my clients
I'll be around to help them with their coverage in
(40:56):
the later years to come. Another thing that sets me up.
Part is my main focus is education. Like you were saying,
I spend a lot of time just going over information
and options with my clients. I really get to know
them on a personal level. Because I'm an independent broker,
I represent many different insurance companies. I show my clients
(41:17):
all their options in an unbiased manner, unlike captive agents
that work for one insurance company. I also consider things
like out of pocket expenses and drug costs, helping my
client research their costs and find alternative coverages for out
of pocket expenses. I always include a hospital and demnity
quote with my Medicare advantage sales for that reason.
Speaker 2 (41:37):
Is there anything else you sell that you'd like to
talk about? So?
Speaker 11 (41:41):
I also sell dental insurance. I can sell the dental
plans I offer to people of any age, but I
mostly sell them to Medicare supplement clients. These are standalone
plans that offer up to a five thousand dollars benefit.
They include all your preventative services as well as basic
and major works such as fillings and crowns. Have a
very popular plan that I actually carry for myself, called
(42:03):
the Pinnacle Plan. This coverage has no waiting periods. Unlike
most dental insurance, its maximum benefit doubles yearly for the
first three years, as well as increases how much it covers.
The first ear you have it, it may only cover
fifty percent of the cost of your basic work and
twenty five percent of the cost of your magic work.
The second year it covers sixty percent. The third year
(42:26):
the benefit reaches five thousand dollars and covers eighty percent.
This is a great plan for someone who needs a
lot of dental work. I personally am getting six crowns
when my benefit reaches five thousand dollars next year, and
since then all my preventative cleanings and X rays have
been covered at one hundred percent.
Speaker 2 (42:41):
Now do you have any final words to leave us
with this morning?
Speaker 11 (42:45):
I just want to mention my month the educational seminar again.
It's the last Saturday of every month in Jupiter. At
the cafe I need coffee. I teach a Medicare workshop
that's free and open to the public. Although I prefer
you ARESVP. The seminar's geared towards people who are new
to medicare, although we cover a lot so anyone can attend.
Speaker 2 (43:05):
Go ahead and give everyone your pertinent contact information let
them know how they can get a hold of you
to set up a consultation if they choose to do
as such before we sign off this morning.
Speaker 11 (43:13):
So my name is Melissa Carici. That cs in Charlie

Speaker 11 (43:39):
Hey, this is Melissa Cricci. I'm a licensed and insured
local insurance agent. So one thing worth mentioning is the
annual enrollment period for Medicare Advantage did end back in December,
which is known as plan changing season for those on
a Medicare Advantage plan. But I do like to remind
all my clients that you have the oh been Enrollment

Period or OEP available to make one plan change up
until March thirty first. So if you're unhappy with your
current coverage, give me a call. Can reach me at

Speaker 2 (44:18):
Good morning, welcome back to the show. It's Saturday, February fifteenth,
twenty twenty five. We're privileged to be here this morning
at West Palm Beach, Florida iHeartRadio. We're now streaming on
the iHeart App. Have with US corporate trustee Ambassador's Landfam,
and they have the newly introduced product called pro Libamax. Folks,
I want to let you know that myself and our
board president John Crow had been on pro Libamax since
(44:40):
February first, two weeks today, I've been taking the product
and it is an exceptional product. Kid you not. It's
helped me so much with arthritic pain and inflammation, digestion,
everything across the board. Great, great product. Kudos and hats
off to you and your team. Fabio. John and are
so forever grateful for helping us with this because we
(45:01):
both feel one hundred and ten percent better. I'm going
to get out of the way. Let's get right into
it this morning on Saturday, February fifteenth, from westbaum Beach, Florida.
Speaker 4 (45:08):
First of all, Rob, I just want to thank you
for having me on the show and letting me tell
your audience about pro Levimax and Lambfam's newest product. First,
Lambfam's mission is to stay focused on development and offering
products for diseases and conditions without a cure or effective
(45:35):
treatment exists. They're committed to this. And even better is
that all their ingredients are all natural. They don't use
anything artificial, and that's why I joined them as their
medical advisor. But for Levimax is very unique, it's revolutionary
(45:56):
in my mind. An extremely effective product is dresses chronic
inflammation and pain without giving any side effects. And as well,
you know, as I talk to you a little bit,
chronic inflammation does create a series of other diseases. So
(46:16):
it's an amazing formula. They do it with supplements, vitamins
and with amino acids. So first let me just talk
a little bit about the supplements boswilia res, viratol, corcumen,
macha which is a green tea, Gensen pipperine. These are
(46:38):
all combined together. These are wonderful supplements. They're combined together
and they are done so in order to reduce and
remove existing inflammation in our bodies. Then for Levamxico's one
step further, it actually increases antioxidants in our body. Antioxidants,
(47:02):
I'm sure some of your viewers know, helps to eradicate
free radicals. Free radicals are these bad cells that damage
our healthy cells. So you know, that's something we need
to look at. Free radicals have to be reduced and
(47:23):
when you reduce them, you get the reduction in the
inflammation and pain in your body as well. But the
final point I want to make with this is that
the amino acids are critical. Here. Amino acids help to
attack the root cause of the inflammation. What are they specifically?
(47:48):
You know, there's six amino acids and prolevimax, five HTP, rginine, glutamine,
serine one known as GABA, and cold. And these six
amino acids are actually neurotransmitters. They work between our brain
and our body. They communicate directly with your brain and
(48:13):
body to make the proteins that fight inflammation at the
same time stopping the making of proteins that can cause inflammation.
So rob the combo of these thirteen all natural ingredients
truly works to eliminate inflammation and pain in our bodies.
Speaker 2 (48:36):
Gary, that is extremely amazing and it's very very impressive.
Why must you have all those ingredients? And then kurcumin,
as I know, is a very effective anti inflammatory product.
Speaker 4 (48:46):
Correct, Yes, Kurcuhman is one of the great anti inflammatory products.
But you know, we have a little bit of a
problem when we think of wanting that single agent concept.
So that's why when they formulated Prolevamax, they actually went
(49:09):
further and added several No one ingredient is going to
address what we call cytokines medically, and these are bad
proteins that give your body inflammation and pain. So Polivamax
actually does address these cytokines, combining over six amino acids
(49:33):
with six supplements one vitamin each working in their own
way to rid our bodies of these bad proteins.
Speaker 2 (49:42):
You know, gary has any clinical data shown how effective prolegamactis.
I'm sure there is correct.
Speaker 4 (49:49):
Yes, yes, actually there's several. I'll cite one here. Doctor
ken Orbeck published the study using highly specific chronic reactive
protein levels now we abbreviated in the medical world as HSCRP,
(50:11):
and those levels have gotten through a simple blood test,
and what the result says, if that level is abnormally high,
you've got increased inflammation going throughout your body. So interestingly enough,
this test can be ordered by any physician, any provider medical,
(50:35):
so a lot of times. We even tell patients they
can go to their provider, tell them before they start
on it, I want to get this level so I
could see and then two to three months later, actually
they can turn around and get it repeated and they
could see how those levels have dropped. And that's what
(50:57):
doctor Orbek did. He showed that patients taking Prolivamax actually
decrease the amount of inflammation based on this c HSCRP
levels by thirty percent after just two months.
Speaker 2 (51:14):
Rob, That's amazing, That is amazing. Gary, How can I
get max?
Speaker 6 (51:20):
Now?
Speaker 4 (51:20):
You asked me? How do I get it? You can
go to www dot prolibamax dot com. Remember proliver is
spelled with two e's p R O L E E
v A believe amax dot com or Amazon okay.
Speaker 2 (51:37):
And lastly, Gary, if I need to get in touch
with you, how can I do that?
Speaker 10 (51:42):

I believe we're part of the golf outing that's going
to be going on, correct and yeah, and we're looking
forward to that on April third. I already have some
relatives and friends from the New York area coming down.
Speaker 2 (52:21):
Love it, I love it. I heard it was so
called in New York the other day, Gary that they
actually saw two lawyers with their hands in their own pocket.
Speaker 4 (52:28):
Is that true. I'm sure that's true.
Speaker 2 (52:33):
All right, my friend. I want to thank you once again.
Congratulations to you and Fabio and everyone at lampam very
very impressive, wonderful product, pro Levamax. Looking forward to working
with you throughout the course of the year in many
years to come.
Speaker 4 (52:46):
Thank you so much, absolutely, Rob, Thank you all right.
