Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Greater South Florida Chamber Radio program with
your host to board president John Kroll of Kroll Realty.
Speaker 2 (00:15):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It's Saturday, March first,
twenty twenty five. We're privileged to be here in West
Palm Beach, Florida at iHeartRadio. We're now streaming on the
iHeart app. Have with this corporate trusty Ambassador Fabio Lanzeria,
who is the CEO and founder of Lamptech. What I'd
like for you to do is give out your pertinent
contact information, let people know how they can get a
hold of you, and a little background on the organization
(00:37):
and the company. But before you do that, I want
people to understand I suffer from some severe inflammation. I
have bad knees. I don't have a meniscus and either knee.
I've had my right knee replaced for a number of
years now. I have done two different times, and in
twenty twenty fourth, age of fifty eight, turned fifty. In September,
I came down with a couple of different tumors kidney
(01:00):
ladder and it was scary and I had to have
laproscopic surgery twice in the month of November and in July,
during preop, I came up aphib was really, really, really tough.
I was struggling physically mentally to get through it all.
I had tried everything, and lo and behold, Bobbio had
joined with us last year met Hi Metal health Fare
(01:21):
and his product. He said, drop try my product because
knew I had just come out of surgery and I
wasn't looking the best. I was a little bit run down.
I kid you not. I started taking this product and
within two weeks I felt completely better. I mean, inflammation
was gone, I could sleep, digestion and it's based upon
what's in the product. But what I want to do Bobbio,
(01:43):
was give you a chance to talk about your new
chronic pain inflammation product. Go ahead, if you would, please.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Thank you.
Speaker 3 (01:50):
It's a pleasure to be here. Prolebamax as a product
designed to addressed the dietary deficiencies in your body for
chronic inflammation and pain. When you have pain, you typically
have deficiency of amino acids. So what we try to
(02:13):
do is complement that in your body and as well
as to put amino acids in supplements that fight inflammatory
proteins that are being reproduced in your body. And we
have a combination of six amino acids plus seven supplements
(02:37):
that together they tell the body what proteins to produce
and what proteins not to produce. Basically, not to produce
the anti inflammatory proteins and to produce more of the
pro inflammatory proteins and to produce antioxidants because in our
(02:59):
bodies we all have free radicals, and free radicals do
cause inflammation. So by eliminating the free radicals, you also
eliminate inflammation. And that's what the antioxidants do. They fight
the free radicals, and then we have supplements that address
the existing inflammation in the body. And the combination of
(03:24):
everything gives us the opportunity to have a product that
is well rounded and that handles chronic pain and chronic inflammation.
Speaker 2 (03:34):
You know, Fabia, there are a lot of products that
handle inflammation and pain in the market. What is it
that you feel is different with yours compared to some
of the other things that are out.
Speaker 3 (03:43):
There, Oh, great question. You know, there's a ton of
them that offer chronic pain, reduce chronic pain, reduce chronic inflammation.
And what's different with ours is, you know, there's not
(04:03):
one ingredient in the in the market that will address
all the cytokines, all the pro inflammatory proteins that the
body produces. The body produces multiple proteins that cause inflammation,
(04:24):
so not any one product will do that. For example,
let's take tumeric. It's a great product, and it's a
great natural product, but it doesn't handle a multitude of
inflammatory proteins. So what we try to do is to
put together a product that combines a whole bunch of
(04:47):
amino acids and supplements that take care of a plurality
of inflammatory proteins.
Speaker 2 (04:57):
You know, is it okay to take it with blood?
I know that there are a lot of products that
you can There's certain things you can and can't do
with your product. Is it all right to take it
if you're on blood thinners?
Speaker 3 (05:09):
Well, actually it is okay because Prolibamax does contain products
or supplements that can also increase the thinning of the blood. However,
we do not contain or we do not have enough
of the product in each in each ingredient. We don't
(05:32):
have enough milligrams that would pose a problem. I take
blood thinners, you know, typically the plavix, and I take
proleva max and I do not see an effect or
do not see a difference, but you have to be careful.
Speaker 2 (05:53):
Now, fabia is proleve a max safe to take if
I have IBD?
Speaker 3 (05:58):
Actually pro leave a max and the ingredients in prolebamax
are very good for patients with IBD. For example, if
we take L glutamine, it's known for promoting health and
fighting inflammation in the intestines. People with IBD need to
know this as it obviously aids the formation, for example,
(06:20):
of the gut lining. We have Boswellia extract. Studies have
revealed that this ingredient can treat inflammation and benefit patients
with IBD Because you know very well IBD is a
form of inflammation. Curcumen, well known for its anti inflammatory effects,
as we mentioned before, may also protect against the highly
(06:41):
inflamed state often associated with IBD. And we have gabba
we have whereas veratrol which is Japanese not wood, macha,
green tea, coolinel, bitrititrate, and syringe. These ingredients are generally
considered safe and supports the overall metabolic health, benefiting the
(07:04):
individuals manage that have to manage their chronic condition of IBD.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
You know, I think one of the great things about
the product. Usually when you have if you take something,
regardless of what it is, nine out of ten times,
eight out of ten times or whatever it maybe there's
always that one side effect or that one common barometer
that you're not looking at. And that was what amazed
me the most about your product. Using the product, John
(07:33):
and I were like, oh, when is the other shoeball?
And it never did And it was what you had
told us exactly because the pain in his neck. He
has a bulging disc in his neck, heard of playing
football and his back is crooked like mine. But for me,
the pain that I was suffering from post surgery, and
then on top of the inflammation in my knees, you know,
the meniscus is a shock. Book's over for your knees.
(07:55):
I have none in either knee. I'm six six, two
hundred and seventy pounds, fifty eight years old. I was
high school. I was two fifty five. But you know,
I played football for almost twenty years in my back
and my knees are completely shot, and I have bone
spurs around the perimeter of my back, and I just
refuse to go in and get cut. Even with that,
Even with that, it's helped a lot with my back.
(08:17):
I still ice and I still stretch and do certain
forms of yoga. But you know, I'm old. I still
try to work out the best I can. I've still lived.
I'm not like I used to, but I do it.
And you know the thing, for me, the greatest reward
is to be able to have someone in our organization
in the capacity that you are as a corporate trust
THEE ambassador. You're fully involved all the way in with us,
(08:39):
helping us sponsor events, but to be able to give
a testimonial and let people know, hey, this product works
and it works folks. I'm encouraging you to try the product.
And when we got about a minute left, I hear
that music in the background. I want you to give
your contact information, yes, and let people know how they
can get pro libamats.
Speaker 3 (08:56):
And most importantly, Rob, what side effects did you feel?
Speaker 2 (09:00):
None? There you go zero.
Speaker 3 (09:02):
That's the important thing. But with regards to UH Court,
you can always reach us. We have a website called

Speaker 2 (10:38):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show, Saturday, March first,
twenty twenty five. Are privileged to be here at iHeartRadio
in West Palm Beach, Florida. Whe we're now streaming on
the iHeart app in study with us ME. This morning
is Corporate Testing Ambassador Joel Borders from Borders Insurance. Now,
there's a lot of people out there, Joel, who do medicare.
There's a lot of people out there who do dental.
There's a lot of people out there who do general
(11:00):
health plans. But the thing about what you do, it's
hybrid because you have covered a lot of buckets and
you do a lot of different options for people. But
there's a couple of different parameters about the way you
approach it that's a little bit different. What it'd like
for you to do this morning is take a few
minutes eight nine minutes, introduce yourself, give out your contact information,
web address, phone number how people can get a hold
(11:22):
of you, and explain to the listening audience this morning
about what you do and how you do it versus
how others do it.
Speaker 5 (11:28):
If you would please, sir Hey, thank you for that introduction.
Route absolutely appreciate it.
Speaker 6 (11:33):
So as Rob said, I'm Joel Borders with Borders Insurance,
new to the area here in Florida. I got a
team of about twelve agents and basically our roles and
methods and what we do is we're contractor at every
healthcare provider in the country and we take a healthcare
(11:54):
plan and fit it to your individual needs. Mind you
that each year you have the opportunity as far as
medicare goes to change, to change every year look at
your plans. So each year you need what we consider
an evaluation of your health care and your health care needs,
and we want to fit plans to those needs. Covering
(12:17):
everything from dental and vision to just general medicare or
surgeries or specific chronic illnesses.
Speaker 5 (12:26):
We have plans for all of those to help you.
Speaker 6 (12:29):
Essentially going forward this month, we're really going to start
focusing going forward on small businesses. We provide health care
and we actually manage healthcare for small businesses. The ideal
is that you're promoting retention within your employees by offering
them insurance. You also receive a tax benefit for your
employees having insurance, and we can actually manage it for you.
(12:54):
So while you're doing what you do in your business,
we're doing our business and supporting you and helping you,
and then connecting others along with that. We can partner
you with people who set up for one KSE and
we also do life and annuity services along with that.
And again, all of this to you as a business
(13:19):
owner is no cost for me to come in and
talk to you and sit down and try to formulate
a plan. So give us a shot, give us a call.
You can reach me at Joel at Bordersinsurance dot com
or call me at aery code three one four four
eight six nine eight two. That email will take you
to a website.
Speaker 2 (13:40):
Also, Joel, we have several minutes left. I want you
to touch on this. I've seen a lot of things
on the news. I'm trying not to watch it because
obviously everybody knows. It's been a very it's been a
paradigm shift. You know, the first portion of twenty twenty
five new administration, as they say, new share up in town.
But I know that each year there are changes in
(14:02):
the landscape of what you do, whether it's the prescription
drug coverage, whether it's this part of the bucket, whether
it's Part D, Part C. From what I understand, and
I'm not well versed in this like you are, there
were some drastic changes that transpired within that industry. As
we roll into twenty twenty five, what would be the
words of wisdom that you would give the people out
(14:24):
here in the listening audience that are listening to us
this morning and who are going to hear this play
over and over on Alexa that may have questions for you?
What would you like to share with them about what
they should be most conscious of as we move forward
in this particular time.
Speaker 6 (14:41):
What I would tell people most often is be more
conscious of where you're spending your money and where your
healthcare needs are today six months from now until a year,
and get a broke. Don't answer the phone for about
a bunch of telemark or someone selling you just their product.
(15:04):
There are over two hundred and sixty different medicare plans
out there and supplement plans to choose from. So when
one supplier or one company calls you, they're just telling
you their plan and they're gonna make it seem great.
What we do and what you need to understand is
we will look at all of those plans and find
(15:26):
the one that fits your needs the best at the
lowest cost. This big Chaine Rob talked about in prescription
drugs with the two thousand dollars cap. While it's great
for most of you that just have regular medicare, that
just means for the first quarter you're paying full price
for prescription drugs, and most people can use that two
(15:48):
thousand dollars up depending on what the medicare needs are.
What they're not telling you is we can create what's
calling HSA and spread that money out over the entire
year that you're not hit every month with some huge
financial calls from prescription drugs. So give us a call,
give us a chance, give us the opportunity to talk
(16:09):
to you and send out we'd love to come see you.
Or if you don't want, you know you want to
do that, or have a cup of coffee. Again, there's
no there's no charge to you for this service at all.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
Joe, we got a buy a minute or two lefl
What do you feel is different about the way you
approach this versus other people that are doing what you
do in your industry.
Speaker 6 (16:32):
I think you have a lot of people out there
that don't really educate people on what they want, and
they don't understand the difference. So supplement plans, you purchase them,
you pay every month. Most often they don't have a deductible,
but you're paying every month whether you use it or
don't use it. Advantage plans you pay nothing, but you
(16:55):
pay copays when you do use it, except for primary
care doctors and other things like that. And again, we
can walk through that with you fairly simple and show
you the cost analysis and put it out there. You know,
as I moved to the area, I did ten new
clients this week, and I was able to save each
(17:15):
of those clients about four thousand dollars in each.
Speaker 2 (17:19):
That's significant savings. It's a lot of money in today's economy.
Speaker 5 (17:22):
Yeah, you know. And and I let them know.
Speaker 6 (17:24):
You can try an advantage plan this year, and if
you really don't like it, you can go back to
a supplement plan next year.
Speaker 5 (17:31):
But put the money in your pocket right and do
something else.
Speaker 2 (17:34):
Absolutely, Joel, go ahead and give out your contact information
one more time till we have you on next segment.
If you would please.
Speaker 6 (17:39):
Yeah, that's Joel Borders at Borders Insurance. That's Joel at
Bordersinsurance dot Com area code three one four four eight
six nine three eight two.
Speaker 5 (17:50):
Feel free to reach out and talk to me. I
appreciate it.
Speaker 2 (17:52):
You'll be able to meet Joel in person on Tuesday,
the fourth of March at the Colony Club in Sunrise
from ten to thir two thirty. He'll be out there
with us and come on through. All right. I want
to thank you for being with us this morning, and
you have a great weekend, sir, thank you.
Speaker 5 (18:07):
You do to say thank you.
Speaker 7 (18:13):

Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It's Saturday, March first,
twenty twenty five. We're privileged to be here in West
Palm Beach, Florida at iHeartRadio where we're now streaming on
the iHeart app. With me this morning is Stephanie Thompson Wardo.
She is with the Alzheimer's Association. Like for you to
do is take a minute to give about your pertinent
contact information, web address, phone number how people can get
(19:06):
a hold of you. And then I have a few
questions I'd like to ask you. Go ahead, Stephanie.
Speaker 8 (19:10):
Sure, Hi everybody. As you said, my name is Stephanie.
I work for the Alzheimer's Association.
Speaker 9 (19:16):
We can be.
Speaker 8 (19:16):
Reached at one eight hundred two seven two three nine
zero zero or our website is alz dotorg.
Speaker 2 (19:26):
Now, Stephanie, how is Alzheimer's currently diagnosed? Can you touch
on that for the listening audience this morning.
Speaker 8 (19:33):
Sure, there's no single tests that can determine if a
person is living with Alzheimer's disease or another dementia for
that matter. Previously, we can only diagnose Alzheimer's another dementia
based on medical history and cognitive paper and pencil tests.
But now we're seeing a movement to incorporate biomarkers as
part of the diagnostic workup. Doctors use diagnostic tools such
(19:57):
as bring imaging and fluid analysis, combined with neurological exams,
physical exams, and cognitive and functional assessments to make an
accurate diagnosis. And during the medical evaluation, the healthcare provider
will examine you know, the individual's medical history, which encompasses
(20:17):
psychiatric history and cognitive and behavioral changes. They will inquire
about both current and past medical issues and concerns, along
with any medications the person is currently taking. Additionally, the
doctor will ask about significant medical conditions and family members,
including whether anyone has experienced Alzheimer's disease or other forms
(20:40):
of dementia. And part of this is, you know, just
preparing foreign appointment. And I think individuals and a care
partner who goes with them or a loved one that
goes with them can prepare by just you know, writing
down what kind of symptoms that they've noticed, when they've begune,
how often they happen, and if they've stayed the same
(21:02):
or if for getting worse.
Speaker 2 (21:05):
That's ironic, you know, I've lost my father in twenty
twenty ninety seven, years of age. He had got cancer
at ninety five. He's real healthy and then got sick.
He beat the cancer, but Alzheimer's did him in. It
was terrible. What is a biomarker and why is it
important to share that with the listening audience?
Speaker 8 (21:21):
Stephanie Sure, you know, in recent years there's been a
significant surgeon research aimed at developing new ways to detect
Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia, and specifically looking
at new biomarkers. And when we say biomarker, we're talking
about tools and technologies that help us to identify changes
(21:44):
occurring in our bodies. Biomarkers serve as both predictors and
indicators of disease and its progression. And people already are
familiar with the biomarkers. For instance, you know you assess
your risk for heart disease by measuring cholesterol levels of blood.
That's a biomarker. It's essential to have similar tools and
(22:04):
technologies available for Alzheimer's and dementia. So there been notable
advances in brain imaging and in the context of Alzheimer's,
there are numerous applications for biomarkers that parallel what you've
encountered with other diseases. This includes, you know, to establish
a diagnosis, to determine suitability for clinical trials, to really
(22:27):
monitor the disease progression over time, and attract treatment outcomes
and side effects. By incorporating the biomarkers into diagnostic workups,
we can start to better understand the underlying biology of
an individual's cognitive concerns. And this really gives us that
window to start trying treatments earlier and enrolling people in
(22:48):
clinical trials prevention types of approaches.
Speaker 2 (22:52):
What are the benefits of an early and accurate diagnosis.
Speaker 8 (22:57):
Well, we know today that an early diagnosis can have
have important emotional, social, and medical benefits. An early diagnosis
can help people diagnose with Alzheimer's make planning decisions and
be part of those decisions with their family. I kind
of like to bucket these benefits into three categories. So
first of medical benefits, this includes access to current treatments.
(23:21):
You know, these disease modifying treatments that have been FDA
approved are only approved for the early stages of the disease,
so it's really important to get an early diagnosis to
be able to discuss these treatment options with your medical professional.
We also know that clinical trials play an enormous role
in helping us to find the newest and best treatments,
(23:43):
and this is also true for Alzheimer's. I mean, the
cure is going to first come through a clinical trial,
So participating in a clinical trial has many benefits in
terms of maximizing an individual's healthcare and their ability to
potentially receive treatments with the FDA as one of these
medical benefits. This also gives individuals a chance to prioritize
(24:05):
health and make healthier lifestyle changes. Next is the emotional
and social benefits in addition to these medical benefits. Of course,
you know, just being able to plan and access resources
can have a big impact on a person's quality of
life and it allows them to really plan out their
(24:25):
end of life decisions. And lastly, financial benefits. I mean,
we all want to save money if we can, and
there are financial benefits of an early diagnosis for families
and for the government.
Speaker 2 (24:38):
Stephan, we have a couple of minutes left. What may
impact what red flags run the risk of cognitive decline
or dementia? Can you touch on that please?
Speaker 8 (24:47):
Yeah? Based on the research that we're seeing across the globe.
We know there are things that may make up risks
that are both non modifiable as well as modifiable. Really
focusing on those modifiable things are the best way. Those
are the things we have the most control over. So
for example, we can influence you know, the way that
(25:10):
we exercise, our physical activity, our cardiovascular our health can
impact our brain. Also sleep, diet, environmental and lifestyle factors.
The research is really looking at combining all of these
together or multiple ones to really drive overall risks. So
there are a number of reasons why individuals in each
(25:31):
group that might be fundamental and unique, meaning you know,
not all groups and people are made the same. But
still starting somewhere, doing a little bit of exercise, eating well,
you know, trying to sleep better, all our beneficial to
the brain. If people want to learn more about that,
they can go to alz dot org board slash Healthy Habits.
Speaker 2 (25:56):
All right, that is very very important. I'm hearing that
music in the background before we sign off this morning.
I want you to let people know how someone can
learn more about Alzheimer's research, and then give out your
contact information one more time until we have you and
your team on the next segment. Thank you for being
with us this morning.
Speaker 10 (26:14):
Sure and Nick.

You want to learn more about research, just go to

Speaker 2 (26:27):

Good morning, welcome back to the show. It's Saturday, March first,
twenty twenty five. We're privileged to be here this morning
at iHeartRadio in West Palm Beach, Florida, where we're now
streaming on the iHeart app. Have with us in studio.
You fit a lot of people are familiar with you Fit.
I live in West Boca and loggers run. I use
the you Fit right there in Santa Foot Plaza. You
Fit is an excellent organization. The thing I like about
(27:30):
you Fit most of the facilities have a really really
gracious schedule as far as getting people in and out
of the facility. They have great hours. You can't beat
the price. They have trainers on site if you need that.
And they're a brand name, I mean, people know who
they are. A publicly trading company with us. This morning
is Amanda and her team. Would it'd like for you
to do Amanda to talk a little bit about what's
(27:51):
going on. I know we're getting into March here, it's
the first day of March. Spring breaks upon us. We're
into the third month of the twenty twenty five calendar year.
So how many moving parts in our country right now?
What are you suggesting for people as far as getting
in contact with your organization. I know you have some
promotions going that you're doing as well. Can you touch
on all that. We've got about seven eight minutes to
(28:12):
go over that. Hi.
Speaker 11 (28:13):
Awesome, Okay, thank you so much for this opportunity. Absolutely,
we just wanted to talk and tell you Fit is
doing some amazing things coming into March. We have some
amazing promotions starting. Our first membership starting is at eight
ninety nine with zero dollars down.
Speaker 2 (28:28):
Wow, eight ninety nine, yes, eight ninety nine. Seems like
everything else is going up, but the cost of a
membership you Fit is going down. I love it. Yeah, well,
that is good marketing. Now you Fit is in how
many states nationwide?
Speaker 11 (28:43):
We are in five states nationwide?
Speaker 2 (28:45):
Okay, and I know that in South Florida. It seems
like I see them all over the place and throughout
the state of Florida there's quite a few locations. Chres.
Speaker 11 (28:53):
Yes, we have about seventy six okay.
Speaker 2 (28:56):
And when was you Fit founded? How far back does
it go? Got to be twenty five thirty years, I
would imagine, right, yes, if.
Speaker 11 (29:03):
It has been around, and it predates COVID as well,
it's been around for about fifteen to twenty twenty five years.
Speaker 2 (29:09):
Well, another thing I like about your facilities state of
the art. The equipment is always new.
Speaker 9 (29:14):
You know.
Speaker 2 (29:14):
You go to a lot of gyms and they let
their equipment go. It gets outdated absolutely, you know. And
cleanliness is next to godliness. As my mother and grandmother
used to say, my wife, God rest your soul. She
was Italian. But I kid you not, there's nothing worse
than going to a gym and if you go into
the locker room or the area where they may have
their hot tubs or their pools and it's not kept up.
(29:35):
And that was one of the things that impressed me
the most was your cost was extremely low, your hours
were flexible, but your staff's always real friendly and helpful.
But the fact that it was clean, and that's important too,
specifically coming off of the COVID pandemic, that's huge. I'd
like to see that you're stressing those priorities. Any other
promotions that are going on, or anything else that you're
(29:56):
doing that you want to share with the listening audience.
Speaker 11 (29:58):
Well, I just wanted to talk little bit about you fit.
One thing about us is we are a family friendly,
clean environment. We want to be affordable to everyone, and
our doors are always open to anyone. We have a
lot of personal training sales right now because we genuinely
want to help everyone around us get that new year
numb kind of mentality and help them stick to their
goals and reach their fitness potential.
Speaker 2 (30:20):
I like the fact that you're doing that because of
the fact that so many people get to be a
certain age. Like I'm fifty eight years old and eight
years ago, four years ago, I was in exceptional shape.
And then you know, my wife had passed away, and
I was working a lot and used to keep my
mind off things. And lo and behold, when I turned
from fifty seven to fifty eight, I got sick first
(30:41):
time in my life other than sports injuries. Had to
have a couple tumors removed, and I couldn't work out.
I mean I used to work out at home. I'd
go to your gym a few days a week and
on the weekends, and I couldn't do anything I could.
They didn't even want me walking. And then now that
I've come out of that, it's neat to know that
you can go in. And when I did go in,
I know one of the guyser and I say, he
gave me some advice and told me what to do
(31:02):
and what not to do. But what I like to
see is whether it's someone that's, you know, in their
twenties or thirties, or someone that's in their fifties, sixties,
or seventies at your facility that has the initiative to
go back into the gym to try to recapture a
little bit of their their bigor get the physical in order,
if you will. Because health is very, very important that
you have the coaches that are there to assist people
(31:24):
because it's not something you can really do on your
own unless you've done it in the past. But as
time gets as they say, as we get long in
the tooth, as we get older, it's not like it
was ten years ago or twenty years ago. It's it's
definitely something you want to have someone helping you monitor.
And that was another thing that I was impressed with
when I watched your coaches. They were very hands on
and they were very very supportive and extremely polite to
(31:45):
all the people that were working with, regardless of their levels.
Because some people are an exceptional condition, there's an impoor
condition trying to get back into decent condition, and regardless
of what it was, it was neat to see that
you did that, you know, and it was also really
neat to be able to see you out at the
South County Fair this year because of the fact that
we were out there for a while and we were
out there with a couple of our corporate members as well.
(32:07):
It was neat to see your organization offering the different
promotions in January that you're rolling out now, so I
really was impressed by that. But we have a couple
of minutes left. I want you to give out the web,
a drafts, toll free number, anything else that you want
to share with people so they can get a hold
of you and your team.
Speaker 11 (32:25):
Okay, awesome, thank you so much for passing the floor
to me. I just again wanted a touch base on
our amazing promotions that we have. It is eight ninety
nine to join with zero dollars down. Our doors are
always open. We are accepting everyone from all different age groups.
Will have a trainer that can help you hit your
fitness goals, and we'll be right there every step of
the way, assisting you and taking care of you as
(32:47):
if that's the you fit way. So to find us,
you can actually look up ww dotufit dot com and
you will find us. We are about seventy six locations
in South Florida. Basically anywhere that you turn, any plaza
you go into, you will find us. You will see us,
and you will love us. We are open with open arms,
(33:08):
ready to accept you, and we are so thrilled to
be able to tell you that we are excited to
have you a part of our you Fit family.
Speaker 2 (33:14):
That is awesome and it's nice to know that that's
the case, because obviously that's not always the case. And
once again, not to be redundant. I'm hearing that music
in the background. We got about a minute left. But
when someone's lowering their price and improving the quality of
their service to help people to meet their goals physically,
that's very, very, very important because there's so much uncertainty
(33:35):
right now out there, a lot of noises, they say,
So you've got to block that out. And if you
can get yourself into a steady routine of working out
and eating healthy, that's always extremely important. So one more
time before we sign off this morning, I want you
to give out the information on that pro motion, the price,
and give out the web address and toll free number
again if you would please.
Speaker 11 (33:54):
Okay, So the toll free number will be eight eight
eight nine six eight three four eight one, and our
web address is www dot YouFit dot com. I wanted
to touch base a little bit about what we offer.
We have tons of amenities. We have all the equipment
you could meet. We are very clean, We have a
bunch of small group training classes. We offer personal training.
(34:15):
You have your group fitness classes, yoga, plate, cycling. We
have everything that you could need in one place, so
we are one stop shop.
Speaker 2 (34:23):
Thank you so much for being with us. Once again.
It's Amanda and Christine from you Fit. I want to
thank you and you have a wonderful weekend.

Speaker 2 (35:01):
Good morning, welcome back to the show. It's Saturday, March first,
twenty twenty five. We're privileged to be here this morning.
I heard radio on West Palm Beach, Florida, where we're
now streaming on the iHeart app have with U's one
of our newer corporate members. It's Carrie Gilmore from Gilmore
Chiropractic in Fort Pierce, Florida, and we do a number
of events in the Treasure Coast because we're a regional chamber,
and we're going to be doing the Habitdel Fence Center
(35:23):
on March twentieth where she's going to be one of
the sponsors for that event. We're really excited about working
with you and your team. What it'd like for you
to do is take a couple of minutes to give
out your pertinent contact information, web address, phone number, address
of the business and talk a little bit about what
you do and how you go about doing it on
a daily basis, if you would.
Speaker 9 (35:40):
Please absolutely thanks Robert for having me.
Speaker 2 (35:43):
I'm glad you're here with us.
Speaker 12 (35:45):
We are located at eight hundred Virginia Avenue and Fort Pierce.
We've been there for twenty some years now and Gilmore
Chiropractic has always had taken pride in the practitioners that
we've hired, and they specialize in an array of different things,
but we treat anything from neck injuries to extremities back
(36:09):
and we recently brought on a chiropractic neurologist.
Speaker 9 (36:12):
We're really excited about.
Speaker 12 (36:14):
Yes, and we have an acupuncturist on staff. So the
team that we've put together they can handle an array
of injuries, an array of pain and unresolve things like
autoimmune problems. And yeah, but we we do accept insurance
and we look forward to having people call us our
(36:36):
number seven seven to two four six six nine five
seven five and they can always visit our website at
www dot Gilmore dash Cairo dot com.
Speaker 2 (36:48):
A little background on yourself. Where did you go to
chiropractical school? How long have you been doing this and
why did you get into what you're doing for a living.
Speaker 9 (36:56):
So I did not go to chiropractic school. I was
married to a chiropractor, Ken Gilmore, who is the most.
Speaker 12 (37:05):
Amazing chiropractor of all time. I think if any patient
talk to you right now, they would tell you that.
And I learned so much. We raised three beautiful children together,
and he suddenly passed last year.
Speaker 9 (37:17):
Sorry, thank you.
Speaker 12 (37:19):
So I decided to keep the business because we have
a legacy to carry on and our mission has always
been to keep people from surgeries and help them get
out of pain from surgeries, and so I feel like
the team that we have right now is really strong
and we're going to continue on with his legacy.
Speaker 2 (37:35):
That's important. I like that because of the fact that
that's a rough situation. I'm myself also, I'm a widower.
That's something that does not unfortunate. People don't get over
that overnight, and I'm sure it's going to take a
period of time for you to go through that, and
I wish you the best with that. Congratulations on the
continued success with your business and the fact that it's established.
That's an important thing because I have heard a lot
(37:57):
of good things about your organization. I know that, as
you mentioned, he is very successful, so that it always
helps because you're running a business that has built a
book of business. What is it one of the things
that you see. I mean, I know there back in
the day we used to joke and say there was
a chiropractor on every corner. That's not the case anymore.
There are a lot of them, but there's not They're
(38:18):
not on every corner. And obviously I believe in it
because from playing football. I mean, I was one of
the people back in the eighties. I can remember playing
college ball where we actually got adjusted at halftime. They
would put us under to adjust us.
Speaker 9 (38:31):
Yeah, that's important, yep.
Speaker 2 (38:32):
And you had to sit out the first few minutes
of the third quarter. But that was if you know,
I literally was getting adjusted three, four or five times
a week because of the fact that my back is
like this. It's just it's not in the best of
shape and I don't have mynscs of selept on my knees.
But I believe in chiropractic. I do, and it's just
for myself. I have bone spurs and I just never
(38:53):
wanted to get cut on. I know a lot of
people have had back surgeries, and it was something I
decided I was not going to do, regardless of the
level or threshold of pain. But I can honestly say
that when someone's working with a chiropractor, at least for
me personally. Our board president, mister Kroll, he's got a
bad neck. He and I were joking the other day saying,
I've got to go see another chiropractor because you know,
(39:14):
it does alleviate the pain, and when you do it
on a regular basis, it really helps. But it's one
of those things it's kind of like if you're taking
medication or aspirin or pain reliever, I leave if you stop,
and it really does you know good. So that's one
of those things that's find in the time to get
in to do it, and with you being in that area,
I know that there's a large number of people in
(39:37):
that area that are fifty five and over. Do you
work with all age groups or do you specialize in
working with the boomer population? Is a combination of or
how does that work? Oh?
Speaker 12 (39:47):
Yeah, we work with from birth to death, so we've
treated one hundred year old patients, so you know, you
have an array of things that go on there. But
I think the biggest thing that's helped us is that
more and more people realize that they don't want to
have surgery because there's too much of a risk involved.
And going through COVID, I think people learned a lot
(40:10):
about how the body can heal itself and how medical
intervention sometimes isn't really the answer, but sometimes it is, and.
Speaker 9 (40:18):
We do refer out if we need to. But I
do think that any age can get adjusted.
Speaker 2 (40:25):
So now I know certain chiropractors work with women who
are going through a pregnancy. You do do that is
that something you do as well or absolutely not everyone
does that. That's interesting. Touch on that.
Speaker 12 (40:37):
Yeah, No, I had my baby at home, so I'm
one of those granola girls.
Speaker 9 (40:42):
But yes, it helps a lot.
Speaker 12 (40:44):
With a lot of the different pain that you have
when you're a little overweight and your spine gets thrown
off from the baby and and so it doesn't hurt you,
it doesn't. We lay on the side and that really
helps a lot. So all through pregnancy I was adjusted
and it really helped.
Speaker 9 (40:59):
Me a lot.
Speaker 2 (41:00):
That's amazing. I like to hear that. That's very interesting.
Speaker 9 (41:03):
We have good results with that with our patients. They're
very happy. Believe me.
Speaker 12 (41:08):
They don't want to take medicine, they can't take advils,
so they come in and it works.
Speaker 2 (41:12):
That is awesome. We got about a minute left. What
I'd like for you to do is give out your
pertinent contact information how people can get a hold of
you if they want to set up an appointment, and
until we have you on next segment. And once again,
I'm really looking forward to having you out at the
havardel Fencenter with us on March twentieth, as well as
a lot of the other events that you'll be working
with us throughout the twenty twenty five calendar year.
Speaker 9 (41:34):
Absolutely, yes, thanks for having me.
Speaker 12 (41:37):
We are located at eight hundred Virginia Avenue, Sweet forty
five and our phone number seven seven to two four
six six nine five seven five and our website is
Gilmour slash Cairo dot.
Speaker 2 (41:51):
Com right down the street from the Havardelfencenter. I know
exactly where you're at, right in.
Speaker 9 (41:55):

Speaker 2 (41:56):
Yes, indeed, all right, well, Kerrie, we want to thank
you for your time this morning. It's been a pleasure.
Once again, thanks for being with us. We're now signing
off from West Palm Beach, Florida on Saturday, March first,
where we're streaming on the iHeart app. Thank you and
have a great weekend.
Speaker 10 (42:12):

Speaker 2 (42:47):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show, Saturday, the first
of March twenty twenty five. We're privileged to be here
this morning, West Palm Beach, Florida at iHeartRadio. We're now
streaming on the iHeart app. In studio with me is
Cynthia and Hayeshurst from FOESUMMA or to State Oriental Medical Association,
and she is a licensed technician. She works in Fort Pears, Florida.
Speaker 13 (43:08):
I'm a doctor of Oriental medicine and acupuncture and my
office is in Fort Piers. I'm the advocacy chair for
the State of Florida's Oriental Medical Association, and we are
trying to improve education and understanding of what acupuncture is
as a healthcare treatment rather than just the individual tools.
(43:30):
So right now, a lot of people don't really realize
that acupuncture needle work is just one tool and a
huge treasure chest full of other tools that we have.
So there's a lot of things that you can do
every day to improve your health naturally that people don't
even think about.
Speaker 9 (43:49):
They do, but.
Speaker 13 (43:50):
They don't realize that it's part of their long term
health and well being program.
Speaker 9 (43:55):
They just like, oh, yeah, I do this.
Speaker 13 (43:56):
I get up and I go for a walk every day,
and I make sure that I try to eat foods
and vegetables, and I know that if I eat things
that are better for me that I will feel better.
But they don't always think of that as a health practice.
Speaker 9 (44:10):
Or it's just a habit.
Speaker 13 (44:12):
Our habits every day are what forms how we do
over a lifetime.
Speaker 2 (44:17):
And I want to apologize. I forgot to spotlight the
fact that you are the advocacy chair for the Florida
State orient and Medical Association. I knew that you were
an acupuncturist in Fort Pierce, but I forgot that that's
an important thing and people, you have to understand the
organization is thirty five thousand strong throughout the state of Florida,
So regardless of where you're at in Florida, they have
(44:39):
someone in your area or within earshot, within arm's length.
And the organization itself is a very very advantageous organization.
I like the fact that you're taking a lead on
trying to educate the general public and the population on
what it is that your organization does in giving people
(44:59):
all alternatives, because you know, for so long people went
to traditional route pain medications, surgeries, pain killers, things along
those lines. And I have a terrible back, I have
bad knees, and I refuse to take that type of stuff.
I just won't use it. It's got to be something
natural or I have done acupuncture in the past, I
need to do it again. It has worked for me
(45:22):
from a meniscuss because I don't have a meniscus in
either knee unfortunately anymore. But I think it's important. That's
the thing that impresses me the most is the wealth
of knowledge that the different practitioners within your organization who
we've had the privilege of interviewing, have shared with our
network and with the listening audience. And knowing that this
(45:42):
is airing on the iHeart app on Saturday, the first
of March twenty twenty five, it's extremely important for me
to be able to give you that platform to where
you can share with people what it is that you're
trying to do, because I know that there's a special message.
I don't want to be redundant. But the message that
you and your team we're pushing right now, take a
couple of minutes and touch on that that's important that
(46:03):
people grasp this well.
Speaker 13 (46:05):
The most important message is that there are a diverse
amount of things that we can use for our natural
health every day, and Chinese medicine has a lot of
different opportunities. So if you're someone who's afraid of needles,
you don't have to worry about that. We can use magnets,
we can use electricity, we can use very many different
things that you could you could incorporate in your daily life.
(46:28):
The best success you're going to have with your health
is going to be practices that you do every day
and things that you can learn so that you can
use it all the time, not just when you go
see a practitioner once a week or once a month.
We want you to be healthy and happy every single day.
So we use guashaw, we use cupping, we use nutrition,
we use herbs. There's there's a ton of different techniques
(46:52):
that can be used. There's a lot of physical medicine,
therapeutic exercises, there's just tons of things. And the pro
that you go to if they don't use the tools
that you're interested in, or you can ask them what
other things do you offer? Do you only use needles
or do you have other therapies that you use. They
(47:12):
will give you what they have, and there's a lot
of things that you could get out of this wonderful
treasure chest of ancient medicine.
Speaker 2 (47:21):
You know. One of the things that amazed me when
I was with some of the interviews that we've done
with your team and your organization, it stands to reason
that most of you have strong backgrounds, but a lot
of you went to school for years to learn to
do what you do for a living, and it kind
of bleeds through, for lack of better grammar, when we're
doing the interviews, people can say wow, because you're always
(47:44):
very transparent about what you're trying to do and why
you're doing what you're doing to help the public. But
the wealth of knowledge from yourself to doctor Shipe, to
all of the different people. There's been a couple dozen
people we've interviewed through your organization, but it's always important
to me to be able to do the interviews with
you because that's where it started, and it's important that
people understand the premise behind what we're doing. You know,
(48:06):
on the twentieth of March, her and her team are
going to be with us at the Haverdel Fenn Center
in Fort Pierce and they're going to be We're going
to be doing hourly door prizes, We're going to be
doing rapples giveaways. But most importantly we're going to have
speakers there and people are going to be conducting seminars
hourly and for the people that are coming in from
(48:27):
the general public to help get the message out on
what they're doing, which is extremely important.
Speaker 13 (48:33):
Thank you, Rob. I look forward to seeing everybody at
the Haffert and Center on March twentieth. And if you
need to find an acupuncturist near you, you can look
up acupuncture Fla dot com and find an acupuncturist nearby
you with the zip code. You just add your zip
code in and it will find someone for you who

Speaker 2 (48:58):
Once again, I want to thank you. I would like

web address and phone number, and also the information on
your practice in Fort Pierce. Go ahead.
