Welcome to the Greater South Florida ChamberRadio Program with your host to board President
John Kroll of Kroll Realty. Goodmorning, Welcome back to the show on
Saturday, April twenty seventh. We'reprivileged to be here this morning in West
(00:21):
Palm Beach, Florida at iHeartRadio Warmernow streaming on the iHeart App. Have
with this new corporate Trusty ambassador,Doctor Max Paul from Maximum Wellness in Boyton
Beach, Florida. What I'd liketo do is give doctor Max an opportunity
to introduce himself talk a little bitabout his background. I know you hail
from Pennsylvania. You are a chiropractorand your company is located in Boyton Beach.
(00:44):
You're going to be with us onthe fourth, a week from today,
from eleven am to five pm atthe Canyon Amphlea Theater in Boyton Beach,
Florida for the City Festival, Healthfareand Business expot And he'll be with
us on Mother's Day weekend and theeleventh and twelfth out at the Boyton Beach
Mall for a couple of upcoming healthswe're doing. Go ahead and give everyone
your pertinent contact information. Name ofthe organization, web address, phone number,
(01:04):
and how they can get a holdof you. And I want to
find out a little bit about yourbackground, how you got into what you're
doing, why you're doing it,and how you feel you may be able
to help some of the people inthe listening audience. Yeah. Absolutely,
thank you Rob for having me onthe show today. Absolutely glad you're here.
It's really an honor. So I'mdoctor Max Paul and I'm the owner
and head physician of Maximum Wellness. As Rob stated, we are in Boyton
(01:26):
Beach, specifically twenty six hundred QuantumBoulevard, Sweet two B. My website
is Maximumwellness dot org and you canreach me at five six one eight one
four two seven four five. So, uh, Rob, I'd kind of
like to talk to you about howI really got involved in chiropractic and what
I do for a living. Absolutely, let's get into that. Yeah,
(01:48):
So more than a chiropractor, I'mspecifically an upper cervical chiropractor. And where
that differentiates between the chiropractor most peoplethink of who cracks and pops different joints
of the body. We don't dothat in our office. What we're mainly
concerned with is the first bone inthe neck, and in front of the
first bone of the neck sits threevery important vessels, and one of those
(02:10):
vessels controls the blood flow to thebrain, One of those vessels drains the
blood flow from the brain, andthe third one is a nerve called the
vagus nerve that essentially controls everything upto the distal two thirds of the colon.
And what we do in the officeis we take an X ray of
the patient and calculate the misalignment ofthat first bone. We don't just say
(02:30):
has it gone right, has itgone left? We calculate the exact angle
of the misalignment of this bone andit shows us how it is misaligned relative
to the skull and the lower cervicalspine. And what we have found is
that when we correct this misalignment, patients tend to experience of euphoric feeling and
a lot of their symptoms can possiblygo away because once we can get rid
(02:51):
of that impedance of that lack ofblood flow going to the brain and the
brain starts draining properly and getting adequateblood flow. It's amazing what the body
do to heal itself. It's ironicyou touch on that because myself, I'm
six six with shoes on, sixy five without shoes on. I'm fifty
seven going on fifty eight. WhenI was in high school, I weighed
to sixty college I was too sixtyfive to sixty eight, and I weighed
(03:15):
myself this morning I was two seventyfive. I want to burn that last
five to eight pounds. But it'slike I still try to work out my
age, but the problem is mylower back. It's like this there.
I forgive my lack of terminology becauseI'm not well burst in like you,
obviously, but I know that thelower disc is just like it's there.
There's no space in between it,and then there's a curvature, and I
(03:36):
have bone spurs all over my backand it's been a problem. And I
know that I was also told thatone of my legs was shorter than the
other, so posture was an issue. But I do know that when I
go to the chiropractory, if Igo to being able to afford it,
because obviously the economy hasn't been asgood as it has been in years past.
We'll leave it at that. It'skind of rough out there the last
couple of years for people going dayto day hand them out the additional two
(03:59):
to three hundred dollars to a lotto pay for the chiropractor, even with
insurance. And to me, it'svery important. I know that we would
alleviate the nerve endings. I wouldfeel better, slept better, posture was
better, my nerve endings were alittle bit more fresh, if you will,
for lack of better grammar, becauseI know that when I don't do
it, you get that tension. You know, you build up and you
try to pop your neck yourself.Never works. So when you go into
(04:20):
the chiropractor and you get adjusted,it's ironic because my son went to school
to be a chiropractor and in theeleventh hour he went to work for Striker
Medical. It was going to bea chiropractor and or a EMT or episcoal
therapist, and he ended up goingto work for Striker Medical and he now
works for Pfizer as a project manager. So but that, I mean,
he spent three years taking all thosescience and kinesiology courses and I thought I'll
(04:44):
have free adjustments for the rest ofmy life and nope, not the case.
So yeah, talk about a littlebit about your background, where you
went to school, how you gotinto it, and what was Was it
a family member there or it isjust yeah, absolutely, So my background's
a little unique regarding that. SoI'm originally from the Philadelphia area and upon
my graduation from Penn State, Iwas a marketing major business major. I
(05:08):
decided that I really wanted to workfor myself and make a difference in the
community, and in doing so,I didn't know exactly what I wanted to
do. So I took it uponmyself to shadow twelve different professions of business
owners. And I shadowed a lawyer, an accountant, and I knew nothing
about chiropractic, and I happened tocall a chiropractor who was local. He
(05:29):
let me come into his office,Doctor Neil Leadman. Big shout out to
you, Thank you. You changedmy life. And during that day of
shadowing him, it just changed everything. It was the first person I shadowed
that not only had the biggest smileon his face, but everyone in the
waiting room seemed to really love him, and that really stuck out to me.
So from there, without the sciencebackground, because I was a business
(05:49):
major, I just went on andapplied to chiropractic school, got my prerequisites
done, enrolled, and ever sinceI've fallen in love with the profession and
the holistic model of healthcare and allowingthe body to heal itself. Penn State
University, home of the Nitney Alliance. That's a that's you know, I've
actually been there. Who have been? What's the name of the town That
says Savvy Valley and State College?State College. That's a small place and
(06:12):
it's it's you know, it's noteasy to get to. I remember I
went to a football game there. We ended up flying into Chicago, and
then from Chicago we flew up.But it's definitely not in the most accessible
part of Pennsylvania, is not atall. It's very difficult to get to.
But it's one of the best townsin the world, and I wouldn't
have traded the experience for anything.Did you go to a few games when
the year there, I'm gonna guessyou did, correct. Yeah, went
(06:34):
to a lot of games there, and that atmosphere there's nothing like it in
America. No, they've had somegreat teams here of lately, and it's
also an excellent academic school as well. Yes, it is no, I
didn't. So you grew up inwhich community in Philadelphia? Suburbs of Philadelphia,
right outside of Philadelphia and suburbs. That's ironic. That is awesome.
(06:54):
Yes, so you're a Phillies fanin an Eagles fan. I'm guession die
hard, I bleed Green Go Birds. I love it. That is awesome.
So who else in your family wasinto chiropractic? Was it your father,
your grandfather, uncle, or wasit just so My family does not
have a direct history of being chiropractors, but my grandfather back in the seventies
(07:15):
was a Disney World and experienced avery bad injury and he could not walk.
They had to wheel him out ofthe park actually, and he saw
a chiropractor and he got up offthe table immediately and walked out of the
office. So that experience really changedhis life. And him telling me that
inspired me to go shadow the chiropractor. That changed my life. You know,
it's ironic you say that because mymother, who's ninety four now,
(07:38):
my father lived to be ninety seven. And the ironic thing about it was
that I remember my father loved togo to the chiropractory. He loved it.
My mom went for about a yearor two. She had a bad
adjustment and there was an issue withher neck and to this day she will
not go and it just to me. I found this be ironic, right,
(07:58):
and unfortunately we do. You seethat in the profession, and that
is why at maximum wellness in ouroffice, we require X rays, if
medically necessary, of all our patients, because we calculate the exact angles of
where each bone is gone to ensurethat when we do perform the adjustments with
an instrument, not an aggressive byhandadjustment, that they're perfectly calculated to avoid
what happened to your mother. That'sironic that you touch on that, because
(08:22):
I know there are so many peopleout there that have You know, I
always give give this analogy. Soyou may have a favorite restaurant or a
favorite type of food. Correct,So if you went to a restaurant,
say a Greek restaurant, an Italianrestaurant, you had a bad dish or
a bad main course, would youstop eating that type of food? No,
You'd probably go to a different restaurantthat serves the same type of food.
(08:46):
So I never could understand the blanketideology behind Okay, like for instance,
people say, well, I hada bad flight, so I don't
fly. Well, could have beenthe airline. Correct, absolutely, So
you know you can't put everybody inthat one blank like that. And it's
kind of ironic when people do thatbecause to me, I mean, I've
heard a lot of positives, andme from a personal standpoint, because of
(09:07):
playing ball when I was in college, I bounced. It's just like car
wrecks fights. All that nonsense. Is you get older playing football, you
know your back goes, your kneesgo. And I tell you that one
thing that helps me the most todayis being adjusted because when you get adjusted
and you come up off the table, you can just feel the pressure that's
alleviated from your neck, your lowerback, your extremities, your knees and
(09:28):
obviously touch a little bit. Peoplearen't aware of this. So if you
have pressure on your organs because youhaven't been adjusted, that can cause problems
with your diet. That can causeproblems with your organs and day to day
functions. Correct, right, absolutely, And I really wish I had a
model spine it could show our viewers. But if you look up a picture
(09:50):
of the spine real quick, you'llsee that there's discs in between each vertebra,
and what happens because of lifestyle, habits, aging, other factors factor
into this. These discs can andyou know, get smaller over time.
And what happens is then the bonescome closer together, which in turn could
possibly put pressure on the nerve thatcomes out of that spinal root. And
(10:11):
the issue with that is you touchedupon, is every single nerve in the
body is responsible for a different function. So there could be the digestive nerve,
there could be the nerve that letsyou speak. And when these nerves
become physically impeded, almost like you'restepping on a hose, that information isn't
properly getting there. It's possible thatyour organs aren't functioning as well as they
could be. And what really ledme to fall in love with chiropractic throughout
(10:31):
my journey in school is that Ifound it's one of the only professions that
gets to the root cause of yourailments. It's not a temporary fix,
rights that's true, and it islong term and obviously if you continue to
be adjusted on a regular basis,it'll improve the quality of your life,
it will improve the quality of yourposture, I know that pro a fact
(10:52):
from doing it and not doing it, and you know, it's been a
pleasure to have you with us.We have a few minutes left. What
I want to do is talk alittle bit ofout the upcoming events. Obviously,
you're going to be with us nextweekend on the fourth from eleven am
to five pm at Canyon Amphitheater andBoyton Beach. We are going to be
there doing the City Festival in Healthcareand doctor Max will be there with us.
(11:13):
And then again on the eleventh andtwelfth, it'll be with us out
at the Boyton Beach. Mall talka little bit about any new patient specialists
you have, any promotions you're running, anything that you want to alert the
listening audience about this morning. Yeah, absolutely, thank you, Rob.
I really look forward to these events. Absolutely, very nice speaking today,
and we are currently running a specialfor new patients for the rest of April
(11:35):
and the entirety of May, whereif medically necessary, we're going to take
seven full series X rays on youand send that to a radiologist so you
get a radiologist report and that's onlyone hundred and fifty dollars, which is
normally valued at around four hundred eightydollars. So even to come into the
office and just have these films, you're getting extreme value out of that.
And if I look at the filmsand see there's an issue, we can
(11:56):
figure out how I can help, and if not, I'd be happy to
steer you in the right to around. That's awesome, That is awesome.
You know, we got about aminute left. What I want you to
do is give your contact information againbefore we sign off until we have you
on the next segment. Go ahead, Yeah, absolutely, it's doctor Max
Paul. You can email me atd R Max at Maximum Wellness dot org.

on West Palm Beach, Florida.Woman now streaming on the iHeart app.
Thank you so much and I havea wonderful weekend. Hey, I'm Rob,
the director at the Greater South FloridaChamber of Commerce www dot Greater South
Florida Chamber dot com. Nine fivefour five eight zero eight eight zero two.
You're listening to one of our weeklyradio programs here at iHeart. If
(13:26):
you're interested in becoming a guest onthe show, or advertising with daily and
weekly commercials, or participating any ofour upcoming expos and events, please reach
out to us at nine five fourfive eight zero eight eight zero two.
Good morning, Welcome back to theshow. On Saturday, the twenty seventh
of April. We're privileged to behere at iHeartRadio on West Palm Beach Florida
(13:46):
woman now streaming on the iHeart appOur next guest is no stranger, it's
corporate trustee ambassadors Sama Impact Windows andDoors out of Boytan Beach, Florida.
And guess what this time next week? Well, actually about three hours from
now this next week, starting ateleven am, they'll be with us in
Boyton Beach at the Kenyan Amphitheater onthe corner of West Point Beach Boulevard and
(14:07):
Lions Road, just west of theTurnpike for the City Festival, Home show
and healthcare that we'll be doing thereat the Amphitheater. And obviously, folks,
you're gonna want to come out andsee them. I'll tell you why
they're running a promotion right now.Listen to this thirty percent Yes, that's
right, thirty percent off Impact Windowsand Doors. So your home and the
(14:28):
keys needs windows and doors. Oryour new home that you just purchased that
you're turning into an airbnb as aninvestment needs windows and doors. Or the
second home that you just purchased foryour daughter or your son who just got
married and you help them with theirfirst property needs windows indoors. You want
to contact Selma Impact Windows and doorsthirty percent off. Let's say it's a
(14:48):
forty thousand dollars job, Well, you do the map. You just saved
a substantial amount of money by usingSama Impact Windows and Doors. Great thing
about Mario and Lisa is they haveover one hundred than twenty years experience from
top to bottom their team as awhole. They started their company recently.
The reason they did so it wasbased upon honesty and integrity. They saw
(15:09):
it for a number of years therewas organizations out here who shall remain nameless,
no need to point fingers, theyknow who they are. They were
a violating the rules and the ethicsby telling people that there was a lifetime
warranty. There's no such thing asa lifetime warranty. Also, they were
gouging people on pricing and the customerservice that there were providing was not good.
So when Mario started this, hesaid, the first thing he was
(15:31):
going to do is do it basedupon honesty and integrity. He has his
own manufacturers, he works with everythingthat they're offering, it was made in
the United States of America. Andon top of backing up the honesty and
integrity aspect of what they're doing, they're offering it a thirty percent off from
top to bottom. Now, Iwant you to explain to the listening audience,
for any first time listeners, whoyou are, what you do,
(15:54):
how they can get ahold of you. Give the web address, phone number,
and a little background on your company. Go ahead. Yes, my
name is Lesar Rodriguez and my company'sfound my Impact Windows and Doors. Phone
numbers five six one two, fivefive eight zero six seven or five six
one, five four three seven eightninety four. I am the general manager
(16:18):
for the business and I've been doingthis for many, many years, and
when we got together with Mario,we decided that we wanted to make this
company the best is possible to ourcustomers. So his motto is honesty and
integrity, and where we go outthere and make sure we get the best
possible price to the customer, makesure we give great service, great communication
(16:44):
back. That's very important to himthat we communicate with the customers back and
forth and the kind of issue theymay have. You know, it takes
time to get this process going, and it's very important that I've been pushing
and pushing while I've been on thisradio show to let customers know that hurricanesies
is upon us, and that it'sreally imperative that they think about protecting their
(17:10):
home and hoping that they will callus so we can go ahead and provide
them with very good service. Youknow, when talk to the listing audience
a little bit about what the actuallifeline is on a warranty, if you
would so, I mean, there'sa lot of misconceptions out there. Obviously
there's people out there that have embellished, but I want you to talk about
that, if you would. Well, the warranty on the product itself which
(17:37):
we give out is not a lifetimewarranty. It's a ten year warranty,
and then we offer a one yearwarranty after installation with anything going on with
the job that we offer one yearwarranty. And obviously we also have our
service department that goes out during serviceif we have to. But the ten
year warranty is what it is forthis type of windows that we sell to
(18:00):
the customers. That's interesting. Now, talk a little bit about the manufacturers
that you work with. I workwith CGI, we work with PGT loss
In, so we we have prettygood manufacturers out there that are working with
us, all right, And they'reall based here in Florida. Are they
(18:22):
stretched out throughout the country, Well, they're stretched out. I mean we've
got them around here, but yeah, they're stretched out, but there we
do have them here in Florida.Yes, Now, what would be your
idea? Excuse me, the idealtimeframe when you're working with someone, give
people an idea, So you goout and see them next week to do
an estimate, what would they belooking What would they be looking at from
(18:44):
start to finish to take advantage ofthat thirty percent process would be looking at
roughly about eight to twelve weeks fromthe time we go out there, from
the time we signed by the time. There's a lot of in betweens.
First of all, if there's anho eight that the majority of the time
is what's cost a lot of waitingbecause it depends on how when the board
(19:06):
meets. Sometimes they meet every thirtydays, sometimes they meet every two weeks.
So then itself can be a processin itself. And then obviously then
we have to do the permitting andafter we get approval, because we can't
do anything, We can't order donothing until that HOA is approved. First
to make sure that what we're offering. The customer is approved by the board,
(19:29):
so that is the only thing that'stime consuming is waiting on the HOA.
And yes, permitting to can bea factor. Sometimes we're lucky.
We can get in two weeks, depending on the building department. Sometimes I've
seen it it's taken a month. This is why we give the customers and
say eight to twelve because that givesus a good leeway. If it comes
in sooner or the product and everythingthat we're ordering, then great. If
(19:52):
not, at least we have thattime frame that they know that it's going
to take at least eight to twelveweeks for them to get installed, you
know. And we have a coupleof minutes left, I want you to
elaborate on what you had shared withme personally. I know you shared it
at the Networking about in March twentyeighth, and we talked about it from
the onset of this interview this morning. Talk to the listening audience a little
(20:15):
bit about the whole ideology behind thehonesty and integrity aspect of what you're doing.
Go ahead, well, well fromworking Maria and I have been in
this business many many, many, many many years, and he started out
as a warehouse guy. Then heended up being a service tech, and
in his travels as a service tech, he went out there and just heard
(20:36):
and saw a lot of things thatwere wrong. You know, customers complaining,
customers not getting what they want, you know, customers not getting calls
back. And so I tend toyou know, get that to him listening
to all that and coming back andletting me know what was happening and what
was going on. So when heopened up his visits, he decided to
(20:56):
say, I'm I'm going we're goingto take care of these customers like there
are. Number One, We're goingto make sure we let them know exactly
what they're getting. They're going toshow them. We're going to, you
know, make sure they understand. We're going to communicate. I want office
to communicate with my customers. Nomatter what whatever it is that they want
they need, we at least callthem back. And that's why he got
(21:19):
that honesty integrity from because he wantsto make sure the customers are happy and
satisfying. Well, I'll tell youwhat, folks, I hear that noise
in the background. We're coming tothe end of this interview. We got
about a minute left. But nextSaturday May fourth, from eleven am till
five pm, you can come outand meet Lisa and Mario and the team
in person and you can take advantageof that thirty percent across the board.
(21:40):
And then again the following weekend onSaturday May eleventh and Sunday May twelfth,
from eleven am till seven pm,we're going to be at the pointon Beach
Mall for the annual Spring Home Showand Healthcare. You can meet them in
person there as well, So goahead real quickly. Before we sign off
this morning, Lisa, give everyonethe phone number, web address and how
they can get a hold of youand Mario and your team. Go ahead,
Yes, the web address is wwwdot semainpec, windows dot com.
(22:04):
The phone numbers five six one two, five, five eight zero sixty seven
or five six one, five fourthree seven eight ninety four and anybody out
in the listening ones. Before wesigned off this morning, Lisa touch on
the referral program. They have areferral program. Focus. Yeah, we
have a referral program. Can anybodythat refers to someone and they don't they
don't cancel within the three day recisionand everything we installed. They will be
(22:26):
getting a two hundred and fifty dollarscheck. Cannot go wrong with that.
Once again, you'll be able tomeet them on Saturday, May fourth,
from eleven am to five pm atthe Canyon Amphitheater and Boyton Beach as well
as the Boyton Beach Mall on Saturdayeleventh and twelve. Thirty percent off across
the board, Lisa Mario, havea wonderful weekend. We're now signing up
on Saturday, April twenty seventh fromWestBam Beach, Florida, where we're now
(22:47):
streaming on the iHeart app from iHeartRadio. Have a wonderful weekend. Thank you

morning, Welcome back to the show. On Saturday, April twenty seventh.
We're privileged to be here at iHeartRadioon West Palm Beach, Florida, where
(23:33):
we're now streaming on the iHeart app. Have with this longtime corporate trustee,
Ambassador Linda Gordon from Linda Gordon Associates. Now, Linda is an expert in
Medicare Medicaid and obviously we have limitedtime this morning. What I'd like for
you to do is discuss something thataffects everyone, medications. What they're to
do if they aren't covered by theirdrug plan or if they're too expensive.
(23:56):
Get right into it because we havelimited time. Give your partner contact information,
how people can get a hold ofyou web addressed phone number and touch
on that subject. I think thatthat'll be fine this morning. Go ahead,
Thank you very much. I'm gladto be here. Yes, that's
a big, big problem with alot of people that have Medicare and Medicaid.
Sometimes their plans won't cover their medications, and there could be different reasons.
(24:18):
They might need a prior authorization. They might need to do step therapy,
which is to try a different orless expensive drug like a generic or
an alternative drug. Sometimes there's quantitylimits on the drug. Also, it
could be off the formulary. Theplan doesn't even cover the drug. So
what they have to do is callthe plan, find out what the problem
(24:40):
is, and then maybe have theirdoctor write a letter requesting an exception,
explaining that you've tried other drugs andif possible, your reaction if it's less
effective or dangerous, and you'll geta decision within about seventy two hours.
Now, if it's really urgent thatyou get the drug, you can add
ask them to expedite it and they'llget back to you much quicker. You
(25:02):
also might qualify for patient assistance andmanufacturer copay programs. They can help alleviate
the cost of the drugs. Ifyou qualify. You also can check with
discount drug programs like GoodRx, SingleCare and Florida Discount Drug Cards. They
have programs if they sometimes cover thedrugs that are much lower costs than the
(25:22):
pharmacy. Now, if your pharmacyrefuses to give you the drug, they're
going to give you a letter. It's going to say Medicare prescription drug coverage
and your rights. And this iswhere you're going to find out what to
do now. Some people can't evenafford drugs, so they might be eligible
for Extra Help, which is anLIS program low income subsidy program. Usually
(25:45):
the max income is about nineteen hundreddollars, but if you make more than
that, you should try anyway becausemaybe you can get partial Extra help.
And usually the cost for drugs ifyou're in the Extra Health program could be
four fifty or eleven twenty for brand. And what's really great about it is
if you have a late enrollment penalty, it will eliminate that late enrollment penalty.
(26:08):
It pays your deductible and your premiumsup to thirty seven dollars and seventy
four cents a month, and itcovers the rest of your year, so
you don't have to worry about itfor the rest of the year. Now,
if you need to get in touchwith me, you can call me
at six four six nine five sevenzero zero eighty five. Again at six
(26:30):
four six nine five seven zero zeroeighty five. It's Linda Gordon Insurance Solutions.
I'm here in Port Saint Lucy, but I cover all of Florida and
I'm happy to help you give youadvice and tell you what you need to
do. Linda, a little backgroundon yourself. You know, we have
like three four minutes slept. Howdid you get into this? Obviously you're
(26:51):
as well versed in this as anybodythat we've ever dealt with. How long
have you been doing this? Sincetwenty fourteen when I was with the Depot
Apartment for the Aging in New YorkCity. That's where I got my extrength,
all my training and my expertise inhelping people with all different kinds of
situations. That makes sense, Thatmakes total sense. That must have been
(27:11):
a rewarding job. You know,it could have been true great little trying.
Yeah, it was great helping people. It's challenging, but it's great
helping people that have all these problems. And I love dealing with seniors.
Seniors have a lot of issues andthey're kind of forgotten, but I'm here
to help them. And I've beendoing this in Port Saint Lucy since I
moved here in twenty twenty one,so I'm very experienced in helping people with
(27:36):
all kinds of issues, whether it'smedicare, getting them on medicaid, helping
low income people, helping all kindsof issues. You know, I think
one of the great things about Linda'sfolks, you'll be able to meet here
this coming Monday, the twenty ninth, she'll be at the Council on Aging
in Port Saint Lucy. And ifyou there's been commercials running on radio for
(27:57):
well Obro weeked promoting that event tentimes a day. There's an article in
the Hometown Vendor. There's all kindsof stuff going on. We're anticipating in
a really good turnout for that. And then again you can meet her in
person on the second at the Pointin Sewell Point and Stuart from eleven until
three. We're at the Council onAging from ninety two on Monday to twenty
(28:18):
ninth. And the great thing aboutLinda is she really cares. I watch
her interact with the people, andthere's other people that do what she does,
but obviously not at the same leveland the degree of customer service,
the way that she interacts with thepeople. You know, she's not looking
at people as a number and aprojected sale. She's looking to build relationships,
(28:41):
long term relationships, and obviously that'swhy you know, she probably does
a great referral business. Because shetakes care of the people and they refer
people to her. So that's thewhole key to it right there. She's
good with people. You know.Got about a minute left thunder. Why
don't you give everyone your pertinent contactinformation and give them some of your pearls,
a wisdom and thing going on thatyou want to share with them this
(29:02):
year and how you may be ableto help them if they're in a position
where they're going to be required touse your help. Go ahead, sure.

for the Daniel Spring Home Show Healthcare, you'll be able to meet her in
person. What I want to dofor you this morning is give you an
opportunity to introduce yourself, give outyour pertinent contact information, your name,
name of your organization, address, phone number, web address, how people
can get a hold of you, talk about any patient specials that you've got
(31:15):
going on, and give a littlebackground on who you are, what you
do, how you do it,and why you do it. Go ahead,
doctor Okay, that's a lot ofstuff. So my name is doctor
Aby Joe Shulkin, as you said, and I can be reached by telephone
at five six one four one threefour seven nine nine, and my clinic
(31:40):
name is called Boyton Beach Laser PainCenter. We're located on Wilbright Road at
three four five nine Wolbright Road, and we help people with all kinds of
medical issues and we use only holisticmedicine. Only through holistic medicine, we
(32:01):
have a speciality of pain management, but then holistic. So our slogan is
ditch the drug, skip the scalpel. I help people with the laser and
acupuncture and herbal medicine, and peopleare my special di've going on right now
(32:22):
is everybody is welcome to have acomplimentary fifteen minute consultation, including a sample
laser session, to see how thatworks and ask any questions that they have,
and they will notice that the lasergets rid of their pain and inflammation
(32:44):
very quickly, and it feels verynice. It doesn't hurt, it doesn't
harm you, It only helps youget better. So that's what we have
going on. Did I answer everything? Well, you bet you did.
Look can you do me a favorthough? Can you one more time?
Well, I want that coin phrasethat you use. How did you say
that? Again? Ditch the drugand what was the rest of it?
(33:05):
Skip the scalpel? Ditch the drugand skip the scalpel And people can get
more information by going to my website, which is Relief Now Boyton beat that
dot. So how long have youbeen doing this? How did you get
started? Where did you go toschool? Can you give a little bit
(33:27):
of background on yourself? Yes,I've been doing acupuncture for seven years now.
Originally now don't laugh at this one, but I have a background in
graphic design and photography. I wasalways into fitness and I got some sports
(33:47):
injury and I went to my Westerndoctor and he says, there's nothing wrong
with your knee. I thought therewas something wrong because I was in pain.
So I went to somebody who Iwent to an acupuncture because one of
my friends recommended it, and aftera couple of sessions, my knee was
better. So when I moved hereto South Florida, I had the opportunity
(34:10):
to study acupuncture again. Not again, but I got to study that and
I knew that was the path forme because I had so much benefit from
it. So I ended up studyingin Florida at the Acupuncture Massage College and
later in Fort Lauderdale at ADAM.That's the Atlantic Institute of Oriental Medicine where
(34:32):
I got my doctorate. And I'vestudied with many of the top holistic healers
in the entire world, people whoare mdphd and acupuncturists, amazing people.
I've gotten a taste of every specialty, and I picked pain management as my
(34:52):
specialty, and I noticed a lotof people are hesitant to do acupuncture because
it's normal to be a fri ofneedles. Everybody has a trauma from getting
blood drawn. But acupuncture needles aredifferent than those needles they use to draw
blood, which are called hypo needles. Acupuncture needles are much thinner because they
(35:15):
do not have a llumin that's ahollow tube to draw fluid. So they
are hairfying and you just feel atiny little pinch and they're put in strategic
places which help your nervous system andhelp relieve tension in the muscle to help
you heal. So instead of usingneedles, I have a laser now and
(35:37):
I use the laser to inject energyinto acupuncture points, which speeds up the
healing tenfold. The laser improves thecirculation. It works on a cellular level.
It energizes the cell to speed upthe cellular metabolism to bring more nutrients
to the cell and speed up thehealing process. It feels very nice.
(36:00):
It's a nice warm sensation. Ihave a class for FDA approved laser,
which is different than a cold laserwhich you might have had from your physical
therapist. The one I have isthe latest technology and it gives amazing results.
So there's no need for anybody outthere in Botant Beach in the surrounding
(36:20):
area to be walking around in painnow that doctor Schulkin has set up her
business here, So please take advantageof our complementary fifteen minute consultation with a
sample laser session. That is awesome. That is awesome. We got about
a minute left. What I'd likefor you to do is give out your
(36:40):
pertinent contact information before we sign off, and once again you'll be able to
meet doctor Shulkin in person Saturday Mayfourth, from eleven am till five pm

Now Laserboytonbeach dot com. Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It
is Saturday, the twenty seventh ofApril twenty twenty four. We're privileged to
be here at iHeartRadio in West PalmBeach, Florida, where we're now streaming
on the iHeart app. Our nextguest is no stranger to the program.
It's corporate trustee ambassador the Rapid Team. I have Nicholas Cassidy who is one
of their project managers. You'll beable to meet Nick and his team next
(39:22):
Saturday, the fourth of May fromeleven a m. Till five pm.
They'll be with us in Poyton Beachat the Canyon Amphitheater on the corner of
West Poyton Beach Boulevard and Lyons Roadfor the annual City Festival Business Expow and
Healthfare and above and beyond that.We also are going to have them with
us on Saturday, Mail eleventh atthe annual Spring Home Show at the Boyton
(39:43):
Beach Mall from eleven a m.Till seven pm. Nick, your company
is well versed in You do somany different things. I know it's a
hybrid thing. Give everybody a littlebackground on your company. I know it's
just not remediation and mold remediation andrestoration, water removal and smoke damage and
all that different stuff. You doso many different things, and obviously you
(40:05):
do so many of them well, which is not real common. Generally people
do one or two things well, but you do everything exceptionally. Your company
has excellent Google reviews. I've heardnothing but good things about people that you've
worked with. And obviously you're catchingpeople when they're I don't like to use
the terminology a little bit freaked out. But if you come home and the
pipes have burst in your home andit's underwater, or you've come home to
(40:28):
find out that someone left the youknow, the electric battery for the golf
cart or the electric car charge andthe garage burned down in the house with
it. I mean stands the reasonyou'd be a little bit sketched out.
So get into it a little bitbit the listening audience this morning and share
with people what you do, howyou do it, and why you do
it. Go ahead, sure, absolutely. As you mentioned, we're a
full service water damage, mold remdiation, and fire company. So we service
(40:52):
those individuals that are looking to havewater extracted from broken pipes, dry wall,
dry outs out of the kitchen, removal of mold. But we also
work a lot of fires throughout theTri County area in South Florida, probably
to the tune of about seventy fiveper year. And what makes us unique
(41:12):
as we come in and we assessthe situation beginning to end, we work
directly with your insurance company. Weget approvals for the next step. We
handle contents which a lot of peoplethey thinking about the damage of their home,
but they're not thinking about receiving thecomplete funds from their insurance company for
all the contents toilet, paper, blankets, bedding, whatever it may be.
(41:38):
So we bring someone in, theygo through that, they inventory all
the contents, We clean out theunit, remove the drywall, anything that's
damaged. But we're also a fullservice reconstruction company as well, So once
we get the home remediated and strippeddown to the bar, nuts and bolts,
then we bring in a team ofdesigners and we build that thing back
(41:59):
to get other and we do thatwith water damage and mold as well,
but primarily with the fires. Uh, we see a lot of work in
that area any specific time of yearwhen it's busier than others or is it
just hit or miss. Yeah,So what we see typically in the summertime,
whenever it rains, uh, youknow later in the day, that
(42:20):
drives a lot of people inside.Uh they're turning on and off the faucets,
they're uh turning on their ac they'rethey're they're they're cooking food. Lightning
strikes as well, So we seea lot of activity. Uh, you
know at the end of the dayduring the summer when those summer rains come
through. That's interesting. Now,is there anything that you, uh,
(42:44):
that you don't do uh. Soyou know, we've got a broad network
as a general contractor. So youknow, we have connections into a lot
of different areas if we don't doit, uh. For instance, one
thing that we don't do in housesis best is testing. So but we
have a network of individuals that aretrusted partners that we work with that we'll
(43:07):
bring in to handle that type ofproject. That's interesting, very interesting.
And your organization, I know you'relocated in Fort Lauderdale off of Commercial and
the Turnpike correct or Commercial in fourforty one, if I'm not mistaken,
is that where your warehouse is correct, We're centrally located in Tamarack on Commercial
(43:30):
Boulevard, just east of Fort AndI see your vehicles everywhere. I see
them from Port Saint Lucie to Miami, from Vero Beach to Miami because we
travel as well. We're regional likeyou. How many vehicles you have on
the road right now? Several right, we have between box trucks, service
vans, you know, project managers, sales. We probably have about thirty
(43:51):
five vehicles on the road on anygiven day. So you're employing what I'm
guessing fifty two hundred employees or better. Yeah, I mean I think it
house we're around thirty five to fortyemployees. But then we've got to,
like I said, a broad networkof subcontractors that we work with as well,
and touch on the fact. Imean, one of the things that
you do, you act as anadvocacy agency on behalf of your clients.
(44:13):
Correct, correct, you know. One of the most important things is and
especially in today's insurance market, isidentifying what is a claim and what is
a not a claim. In today'smarket, we don't want to be opening
up claims unless there's just an absolutenecessity to do so. So one thing
we'll do is we come in aninitial free inspection just to kind of you
(44:37):
know, assess the situation and thenprovide advice to the homeowners about which direction
we feel that they should go,whether we provide them with a cash price
or we you know, take alook at this situation and let them know
our estimate of what that's going tocost, and then kind of figuring out
what they're deductible is in which directionthey should go from there. That's interesting,
(45:00):
that is outstanding. What are youseeing right now? Nick? Ause
you know, it's obviously we're cominginto the we're coming into the second quarter.
Obviously, you know we're in thesecond quarter of twenty twenty four.
Anything that you're seeing out of theordinary, I guess is what I'm asking
you know, it's just an everchanging environment for Florida's insurance companies. So
(45:24):
what we always suggest is that youhave an in depth understanding of what your
insurance policy entails, what's covered, what's not, what's limited coverage. You
know, we all look at thebottom line and how much we're going to
be paying at the end of theyear for our insurance, and a lot
in a lot of situations, thatkind of bottom line cost is what direction
(45:46):
we go with insurance. But it'sreally important to understand your coverage. If
your pipe breaks in the kitchen andyou've got a ten thousand dollars limit on
your water damage and it destroys yourkitchen, well, who sell Florida is
removing and reinstalling your kitchen for tenthousand dollars. It's just not doable.
Now, you've got to really understandwhat your policy limits are. And you'd
(46:09):
be surprised on how many people don'teven know where their policy is, so
our suggestion would be to go throughthat review it, get with a trusted
insurance professional, and make sure thatyou're covered for these these unexpected events.
Yeah, I imagine that would betough. If you were to come home
and find out that your pipes haveburst and you know you have issues with
(46:30):
your coverage, that would not bea good thing. I don't think across
the board that would not be good. What's one of the most common things
that you see that could be avoided? Is it people leaving their water on
when they're traveling. Is it peoplebeing carelessly leaving things plugged in. We
give a couple scenarios where you seethings that could be avoided. For the
listening audience who's tuned in this morning, well, I mean, I think
(46:52):
when we talk about the fires youtouched on it earlier, we're seeing a
large outbreak of fires from individuals pluggingin these lithium batteries, charging these scooters
or even cars, and leaving themunattended for a long period of time.
So that's one thing that we suggest. Make sure you're charging these items whenever
(47:13):
you're a home and you can,you know, evaluate and see what's going
on. Don't plug it in andleave for the day. A lot of
bad stuff happens there. Also, when it comes to water damage and mold,
inspect your areas. Look under thekitchen sink, look under the bathroom
scene, make sure that you keepyour bathtub, you know, cleaned into
(47:34):
your grout snod falling apart where waterfrom the shower can get inside. Because
what we're seeing is a lot ofthese insurance companies are sticking to the rule
that it's got to be sudden andaccidental. So if you have a sink
that's leaking underneath, and it leaksfor many, many months and you just
don't know it because you don't getdown there and move all that stuff out
of the way, then you couldbe potentially looking at a decline from the
(47:59):
insurance company because you weren't monitoring andinspecting your home for damages. That's awesome,
That is awesome. You know,Nick, we got about a minute
left. What I'd like for youto do is give out your pertinent contact
information. Let people know how theycan get ahold of you. Chill.
