Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to the Greater South Florida Chamber Radio program with
your host to board president John Kroll of Kroll Realty.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It's Saturday, the
twenty seventh of September twenty twenty five. We're privileged to
be here in West Palm Beach, Florida at iHeartRadio where
we're not streaming on the iHeart app.

Speaker 3 (00:29):
My name is Rob.

Speaker 2 (00:30):
I'm the director of Operations with the Greater South Florida
Chamber of Commerce. This is one of our weekly radio
programs called the Best of South Florida.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Business.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
In studio with me this morning is one of our
corporate Trustee Ambassadors. His name is Joe McCormick, and Joe
has something very interesting he wants to share with the
listening audience. And also we have a couple of guests
with us. Joe, what I'd like for you to do
is introduce the guests and talk a little bit about
what we're going to be discussing this morning.

Speaker 3 (00:53):
Absolutely fantastic. Again, thanks for having us here. Rob.

Speaker 4 (00:57):
Folks, you've heard me talk about TXSE, the tech coin,
a new crypto out of originating out of Texas. Today
we are privileged to have a couple of fellows that
were in on the ground floor, did my due diligence
for me actually, and when they mentioned to me, well,
I got a board very quickly. So I'd like to
introduce Doug Overvold and Steve Boone. Go ahead, fellas.

Speaker 5 (01:22):
Yeah, thanks Joe, Thanks Rob, Good morning everybody. I'd like
to start out with a real simple question, what is crypto?
What is everybody hearing about? And real simply, it's a
new way to exchange currency around the world without what
without banks, without overreaching regulations, without paying the crazy credit

(01:46):
card fees, and it's really the evolution of money. You
can think way back to music. We started out with
the eight track and graduated to the cassette tape, the
CD player, the MP three, when we the iPod and
now what do we have? We have streaming everywhere. Look
back to the internet. It was nineteen eighty three and

(02:07):
people said, what you mean everything we do is going
to be somewhere on the cloud? You gotta be kidding.
And of course now we know the story and it
was the people that had the foresight. Of course, a
lot of those were the tech giants, the Google, Yahoo, Apple,
They made millionaires, and they made billionaires, and that's what

(02:30):
crypto's going to be. This is going to be the
way currency money is transacted throughout the world. Now here's
the key, here's where you want to pay attention. The
crypto adoption rate worldwide seven percent. Can you believe that? Guy?
Seven ninety three percent of the world's not yet in

(02:52):
the game. But here's the forecast. Where's crypto going. This
came from coincentral dot com. By twenty thirty, that's five
years from now, they're forecasting four billion crypto users in
one hundred trillion market cap. So the next four years

(03:13):
is gonna be the explosion. This is gonna be the place.
It's gonna create more crypto millionaires than ever before. And
the key, I think is to find the right company
and you can create crypto wealth. Now see Boon's going
to walk you through the projections of what this looks
like in our company, texit Coin. But just think, you know,

(03:33):
some people think if I could five x my money
or ten x, or what if you could one hundred x?
Or today we're gonna show you projections of a potential
five hundred x return. That's what we believe. So our
company's texit Coin. We believe that we're gonna be Bitcoin
two point zero and the goal is to build the

(03:56):
second largest crypto mind in the world, just behind Bitcoin.
And the good news is we're building it in the USA.

Speaker 6 (04:06):
And what we're going to do.

Speaker 5 (04:07):
Is pick up where Bitcoin leftoc Bitcoin was created back
in two thousand and nine so that everyday people like
you and me had a way to access on finances,
to access money, to have peer to peer transactions, money
for the people, buy the people. And that was a
great concept and we know the rest of that story.

(04:29):
But what's happened Bitcoin is now for the big boys
who owns most of bitcoin, Black Rock, China, Grayscale, Michael Saylor.
With texit coin, you're able to buy a mining license,
so you get rewarded daily, just like the Bitcoin miners,
but you don't need to have the equipment. You don't

(04:50):
have computers. You simply have a license and what we
call a seat on the rocket, the texit rocket. And
as we launched one of the next major crypto success stories,
you you can build wealth by holding on to your
tc coins. So the question then comes in, well, what's

(05:11):
the utility, what are we gonna do with texa coin,
and hey, how much could this be worth? And now
hang on to the end because we're gonna give you
a free report. So just hang on a few more
minutes and Joe will give you a website where you
can get a free report and jump in and start
getting educated. But what I want to do is turn
it over to my partner, Steve Boone. Steve, he's got

(05:33):
a finance degree, he's a wealth advisor. He's been in
cryptocurrency since twenty seventeen. He's well versed in finance, and
he's he's a pretty good guy, good all round guy.
Steve Boone, over to you, my friend.

Speaker 7 (05:46):
Yeah, yeah, sounds great. Thanks a lot, Doug. I appreciate it.
Doug did mentioned as a wealth advisor. However, I'm not
a financial planner. I'm not. You know, we're not projecting
anything here. We're not hearing any guaranteeing anything. Guys today,
you know that you're smart enough to know there's no
guarantee of a projection in the future. However, that being said,

(06:06):
we believe that the founder of texa Coin, Bobby Gray,
is very uniquely qualified for what he's doing here with
texed coins, and that goes back several years. He started
something called the AOCS, that's the American Open Currency Standard,
that was back twelve thirteen years ago. He actually created
if you're familiar with that little coin that has the

(06:29):
B on it for bitcoin, he's actually he's the one
who created that face for bitcoin. And so he's been
involved in cryptocurrency. He's been involved in what we call
honest money for many many years now. He was pursuing
kind of more of the physical side of it with
precious metals silver and gold, and we think that's a
good idea. Actually, however, Bobby realized here just recently the

(06:53):
last few years that for the adoption to happen for
honest money and for the actual use of it to
be able to have, you know, something that you can
carry around with you, you can carry around crypto on
your phone, that that that he had to switch over
to crypto. And so that's what he did. And he

(07:13):
actually started texted with something the philosophy of what's called
Austrian economics. And the more you learn about that, the
more intrigued you might become about why text it has
done what it's done so far and why we feel
very comfortable about some of the projections of.

Speaker 5 (07:32):
Where it's going.

Speaker 3 (07:34):
I do want to.

Speaker 7 (07:34):
Say a great thanks here to Rob for letting us
grab jump on here, and of course, Joe, good to
talk to you again. You know, Joe, you and I
have known each other for several years now, and I'm
just glad that we're able to get back together and
work on something together. So if you took a look
right now today at the current price of texic coin,
which you can do very easily, and it's liquid, so

(07:57):
if you had texic cooin that you wanted to get
rid of, you can get rid of it. It's right
here at about five dollars and thirty nine cents as
of just a few couple of minutes ago.

Speaker 5 (08:07):
Here.

Speaker 7 (08:08):
And here's the interesting thing about that. We started back
in April of twenty twenty four and Bobby Gray projected
here's where our pricing is going to go into the future.
And if you take a look at our chart, it
is spot on with what he projected. What happen and
actually right now we're a little bit ahead of schedule.

(08:29):
So what we like to talk to people about is
this projection of sixteen dollars back February of twenty twenty six,
and again we're a little bit ahead of that schedule,
and that is based on again this Austrian economics, where
it's the size of the community that we've created, the
amount of money that we brought in to build our

(08:49):
actual mind and the utility that it's working towards. And
so right now we've got we had that projection of
sixteen dollars by February twenty twenty, Like I said, we
might be a little ahead of schedule on that one.
And then what body just recently came out with is
he said, you know what, that was based on just
the money that we're bringing in. However, now we're starting

(09:12):
to get more recognized and he said it's very common
in business, right that if you're bringing in a billion
dollars and that gives you a projection of sixteen that
in business you could say, hey, there's probably some type
of multiplier on there. And so a conservative multiplier of
five actually puts our token value at our coin value

(09:34):
at eighty dollars. And so we're very bullish from where
this is going. Of course, again no guarantees. However, what
we'd like you to do is take a look, start
doing your due diligence, get that free report that Joe
has available here at the end of the program, and
then start looking start getting your questions answered. We're really

(09:55):
excited about how Asia because right now a lot of
our leaders are over in Asia, in Thailand. There is
an event called Token twenty forty nine Global and that's
happening in Singapore next well it's October first, so whenever
that is, next, next, when there, whatever it is, and
that's going to bring texted coin to that agent market.

(10:18):
And Bobby's very clear about, hey, we want to have
free trade, right that's one of the benefits of blockchain,
that's one of the benefits of where texted is picking
up where Bitcoin kind of lost their mission. And so
we're looking at, you know, not just what's happening in America. Now,
this is built in America, built in Texas. The whole

(10:39):
mind is going to be in Texas. But we're looking
to you know, expand around the world. And so with that,
we're going to go into what's called Phase two, and
that's going to put the projections of what text it's
going to do with the value of the coin. That's
the coin that we're talking about is a layer one, right,

(11:01):
We're going to have a lot of layer twos, a
lot of what would be called stable coins that are
built on that layer one. But that allows the value
of that layer one, the tested point, to increase. And
we're looking at and there's some very substantial information that
backs this up that will get to you if you're
interested in but we're looking at like triple digits, significant

(11:25):
triple digits, like up into like the eight hundred dollars
range by twenty twenty seven. And these are all things
that are built on basically the Austrian economics. And then
you know, as we go from the promise which is
to build the mind to the purpose, which is they
have all these layer twos that can go on to

(11:47):
our you know, our blockchain that's going to continue to
increase the value.

Speaker 3 (11:52):
Pretty exciting, so very much.

Speaker 7 (11:54):
So, Joe, I want to bring it back to you.

Speaker 4 (11:56):
Yep, Hey, thanks a ton, Steve, Thanks Doug. Yeah, get
that free report. A lot of great things happening. If
you write this down t xc f l A dot info,
t xc dot txc fl A dot info. And if
you can't do that, you can of course call me
at nine zero four six four three sixty four zero

(12:20):
six txc FLA dot info.

Speaker 3 (12:23):
Robbie got any questions concerns.

Speaker 2 (12:25):
I know, the one thing I wanted to touch on
is there's anything to do with the disclaimer. But before
we do that, I saw an article when you and
I spoke a few weeks ago when we were at
the home show in Jensen Beach. It's Treasure Coastmall assignment property,
which was very successful for us, and I went home
and I was reading online that they're comparing digital this

(12:46):
currency within the next twelve to eighteen months. It's very
comparable to where we were at during the millennium as
we came out of it going into two thousand, with
where the Internet was. They say, it's but it's bigger
so and I remember how massive that movement was when everybody,
you know, turned to the Internet. Because a lot of people,

(13:07):
you know, there's people out there still have AOL emails.
You know, shows how old I am. But point being,
I mean, this is huge, and all the gravity and
the motion that's behind this, this is big. I can
see this is going to be really really big because
you know, like you said, by twenty thirty, it's all
going to be digital. So this is big, big time stuff.

Speaker 4 (13:27):
Anything to add, Doug Steve parting shots.

Speaker 5 (13:31):
Yeah for sure. Thanks again guys for letting us share
a little bit. Thank you listeners for taking a little
bit of time.

Speaker 7 (13:37):
The whole key is education.

Speaker 5 (13:39):
We realize ninety percent of the world's not yet in
the game. They're still learning about crypto, they're hearing about it.
One of the things we offer if you decide to
join us with texa Coin is the education. That might
be the most valuable thing is you've got a community
of people. There's about thirty thousand of us that are miners.
Now you're going to have a community of people to

(14:02):
learn the game, learn about wallets, learn about exchanges, learn
about toconomics. So get the report and we'll follow up,
and this would be a great place to start your
crypto journey.

Speaker 4 (14:15):
Thanks Atten, Doug, thanks a lot, t xc f l
A dot info Info, txc f l A dot info. Steve,
thanks a ton for coming on, and I look forward
to talking to you guys again real real soon.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
Gentlemen, thank you for being with us this morning. We
appreciate it. Thanks, thank you guys.

Speaker 4 (14:39):
Hey, everybody, it's Joe McCormick representing TXC the texit coin.
This is a revolutionary crypto that originated out of Texas
by Bobby Gray, well known in the monetary system. Folks,
this is the people's crypto. Get in on the ground floor.
If you missed out on bitcoin, we're thinking this is
Bitcoin two point zero, so don't miss it. There's only

(15:00):
so many minor seats available, so we want you to
have one. Get on the rocket ship, get your told
booth TXC. To get more information and your free report,
go to txc FLA dot info. That's txc FLA dot info.
Look forward to talking to you.

Speaker 2 (15:17):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It is Saturday,
the twenty seventh of September. I'm Rob the director of
Operations with the Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce. This
is one of our weekly radio programs, the best of
South Florida Business. We are privileged to be here in
West Palm Beach, Florida this morning at iHeartRadio, where we're
now streaming on the iHeart app. It has been extremely
wet out there, so if you're going to be traveling,

(15:39):
make sure to bring your umbrella and drive safely with us.
This morning is Steve Sunshine, corporate trust the ambassador from
Five Star Visibility. Folks, they are a digital marketing agency.
There the preferred digital marketing agency of the Greater South
Florida Chamber of Commerce and our network, and the neatest
thing about the whole relationship with Five Star Visibility. Steve

(16:01):
is as well versed in digital marketing as anybody we've
ever worked with. We've worked with dozens, if not hundreds
of companies over the years. This is the first company
to grab the bull by the horns for lack of
better grammar, to take the initiative to set up a
free I said free capital FRIE digital marketing evaluation for
our members and businesses within our network. You can reach

(16:25):
me at Greater South Florida Chamber dot com. Go to
the bottom of the page. You'll see Five Star Visibility.
If you click on it, there's a hyperlink where you
can register for it, or you can reach out to
me info I NFO at GSFL Chamber dot com. Call
me at nine five four five eighth eight eight oh two.
I'll be happy to schedule and broke a meeting with

(16:46):
you and Steve and his team and Steve, we'll get
right into it. I mean Digital marketing is the way
of the future. It was beginning to get prevalent prior
to the pandemic thirteen fourteen fifteen. As we went into
the pandemic, it was really if you didn't have a
digital presence, you were in trouble. Yeah, granted there was
a lot of people still doing your traditional email blasts,

(17:08):
some fax blasts which you still see from time to time,
but you know, an e blast, if you've got a
five to seven percent open rate, you know you're lucky.
Usually it's two to five percent, and I joked with
Steve we were getting fifteen sometimes seventeen percent, But if
you do a push notification with a digital campaign, you're
going to get eighty to ninety percent. Think of everything

(17:29):
that you get via text or everything you get via email.
That's where it's at. And what I want to do
is get out of the way. Let you explain to
the listening audience this morning what it is you're doing
for the members of our organization and our network, and
then I want you to touch on what some of
the biggest misconceptions are out there, because unfortunately, there are
a lot of small to mid sized businesses as well

(17:51):
as larger businesses with multiple locations could have one hundred
and fifty employees six locations statewide that are missing the
boat because they really don't have a I want to say,
a keen presence. They don't have a presence that sticks out.
And if you don't have a presence that people can see,
chances are it's going to prohibit funding as far as

(18:14):
additional revenues that you may be getting. Leaving a lot
of meat on the bone, as they say, for lack
of a better grammar, and just missing the mark. Because
your marketing is where you establish yourself. It's where you
make it or break it. Go ahead, Steve, Sure.

Speaker 8 (18:27):
Thank you, Robin. I appreciate the opportunity to talk to
the audience today.

Speaker 3 (18:31):
Appreciate you being here.

Speaker 8 (18:32):
Oh great, And I didn't even get wet on a
drive over here. I came over early. First, let me
introduce myself. My name is Steve Sunshine. I'm the president
of five Star Visibility. That's our marketing agency. We're in
Fort Lauderdale, just west of Cypress Creek or west of
ninety five on Cypress Creek, so we're pretty local. We're

(18:54):
very available. One of the big advantages of our marketing
agency is that we are available.

Speaker 3 (18:59):
You can come talk to us.

Speaker 8 (19:00):
So you have someone who can put a face with
a name and with a voice and with effort, where
most companies have a guy that might be in another state,
another country and they can't get a hold of them.
So being local is very important to get local representation
for your marketing. You can go to our website at
five star Visibility dot com. That's five with the number

(19:22):
five and today I want to cover three points.

Speaker 3 (19:25):
Rob first point.

Speaker 8 (19:27):
I want to cover today is what a good agency
really is and what they can really do to help you,
versus what I hear so many times every day every
week is that a business will say, I've got a
guy who did my website six months ago. I don't
know where he is today, but I'm having a tough
time getting a hold of him and getting my work done.

(19:49):
Or we did something two years ago and we really
haven't updated it and it's not right, or it's not fast,
or you know, we don't even know where it is
or what it is. That is the the most common
speech I get from potential business people that are so
frustrated from the efforts that they have put in and
have not accomplished in results that they just need someone

(20:14):
they can trust. And that's one of the perspectives that
I try to bring to the conversation is I'm going
to tell you honest and forthright information about your marketing.
It's not always going to be pretty, it's going to
be truthful, and you take that information and you, as
a business person, needs to react to it because what

(20:34):
happens a lot in small businesses is you're great at
servicing your customer of cooking hamburgers or doing plumbing, but
you're not a business expert and you're not a marketing expert,
so you struggle doing the day to day marketing things
that move you to the next level and with it
over time, you really got to keep reinventing yourself and

(20:57):
using the channels and the marketing tools that are available
to you. Today, we signed up a company that's down
in Hollywood that sells hubcaps. You remember, back in the seventies,
you drive past the road and you have thousands of
hubcaps hanging on a fence and it was a big business.
But when was the last time you thought about a
hubcap and not an expensive wheel for your car. So

(21:21):
this company has been around for forty fifty years. We're
helping them get into the twenty twenty five year of
digital marketing and presenting their products and services so they
can reach new audiences and expand their reach beyond the
four or five miles vicinity that they normally pull clients in.
So they need to convert to the latest greatest marketing

(21:43):
tools and tips and tricks to be able to spend
wisely and get the most out of their efforts. They
can't rely on the old way. They can't rely on
putting ads in a newspaper anymore. They're very few newspapers.
So a good agency will first and foremost explain everything
to you. You will feel confident that you're dealing with

(22:05):
somebody that is open and honest and is not hiding
anything from you.

Speaker 3 (22:10):
If you can.

Speaker 8 (22:10):
Trust them and believe in what they say, you're going
to build a good relationship and on marketing with a
marketing agency. You really need to have a relationship. It's
not here's X number of dollars, go fix my marketing.
It's a joint effort because we have to pull out
of your business all the compelling reasons to do business

(22:31):
with you, all the things that make sense your competitive advantage,
your unique selling proposition that has to be pulled out
of you, because it's been so buried in your business,
possibly for years, that you've just been living on the
cotails of your previous success. So a good marketing agency
will be open and honest with you, tell you what

(22:53):
you need to hear, and tell you what you might
not need to hear, but it's truth. If your website
is it's bad, you need to be told honestly it's bad,
and why it's bad, in how to fix it, and
then it's your decision to be convinced to take a
specific strategy. Another misconception of bad agencies is that they

(23:13):
try to represent this this monstrous goal that you're going
to be first on Google. Well, there's ten thousand insurance
companies all wanting to be first in Google, all hiring
an expert, all being promised to be first on Google.
It just can't happen. So if the promise is too big,
don't believe it. You know, it's like saying, if you

(23:33):
invest a dollar in my stock, you're going to make
a billion dollars next year.

Speaker 3 (23:37):
It's too good to be true, so.

Speaker 8 (23:39):
Be sure that you really check on what people are
saying that they can deliver what they're promising. So another
aspect of selecting the right digital agency local to me
is extremely important. If you hire a company like ours
five Star Visibility and you're a Fort Lauderdale, a Miami,
a WESTBOONMD Beach company, we know the market, we know

(24:01):
the seasons, we know the competitors, we know how the
market reacts, we know what a snowbird is. We know
how to do your marketing. If you hire a two
dollars an hour person from India to do your marketing,
they have no idea what goes on here. They can't
build you a right strategy. And that's my point number two,
is the right digital strategy to drive different aspects or

(24:25):
different goals for your digital marketing and your website. There
are more goals than lead capture. There is saving money.
If you're spending money as a business and you're spending
operational money to do certain things, the website should be
able to save you money to improve your customer service
and customer support, help your customers, help your sales team,

(24:46):
help your processes. If you go at the strategy of
how can my website really help my business? You could
launch a new website or a revamped website, and that
first day you're getting value, whether you've got a new
lead or a new customer at all, you're servicing your
existing clients and you're making them stay with you because

(25:07):
you're giving them better service, better opportunities, better commitment of
your business to help them. So driving savings is very important.
Satisfaction on customer service. If your people are getting twenty
calls over the weekend on voicemail and Monday morning your
swamped to get back to your customers, Well, why don't

(25:28):
you use your website to deliver the customer service that's
the most common questions and the most common needs on
the weekend. How do I do this? How do I
reset that? Or whatever the information is in your business.
If you deliver it on the website, you won't have
twenty calls on Monday to try to research call them
back and chase them and play phone tag and waste money.

(25:48):
You'll service people on Friday night and Saturday morning at
three in the morning because you've built a solution for
your customers. The other thing is leads and sales. If
you're don't have a lead capture funnel, or a lead
capture system on your site. You're really missing out on
a lot of potential business. So when someone comes to

(26:09):
your site, you tell them why you're good, what you offer,
and how to get a hold of you. And then
once they do, how fast do you get back to them.
Do you have automated emails that go out to them
and give them information to set them up for that
phone call, or are you setting appointments on the calendar
so they commit to a time for your sales staff,
or your customer support team, or or your agents, whatever

(26:32):
it is. You have to have the right digital strategy
to take care of all these parts of your business. Next,
the last part is the exciting part, and Rob kind
of teased you or touched about it is our free
digital marketing evaluation. One of the things that Rob and
I came up with is how do we help every
small business understand their challenges and what's working and how

(26:57):
the industry or how the market and how their leads
potential customers view their digital presence. When they go to
their website and you're not familiar with the company, do
you understand what they offer, why they're good, why you
should shop there or hire them? Instead of their competitors.
So we give you a free digital marketing evaluation. It's

(27:18):
done by our digital marketing experts. It's not an automated
process AI that spits out numbers that don't mean anything.
We go over fifty different metrics and we analyze your
website and we give you a simple report that has
abcd F grades and then we have a quick fifteen
minute thirty minute zoom call with you explaining the opportunities

(27:39):
and the misses that you have on your website, on
your social media, on your Google rankings, on your Google
Business profile, all those different areas. We talk to you
about it and it's a great benchmarking tool that it'll
give you a list of things that you should work
on and over the course of time you can do
it yourself, you can hire another agency, or if if

You know, we're excited about the relationship Steve, because I
know you've helped a number of our people so far.
And one of the greatest things about working with Steve
and his team they keep it in simplistic terms. Obviously,
there's a lot of people out there who are not
well versed in marketing. They don't don't know much about marketing,
and they think they know about marketing, but they don't.
Then again, I'm one of the best car salesmen I've

(29:05):
ever met in my life. If you would open the
hood and he could know if you knew where the
motor was, but he sure knew how to sell cars.
And I kid you, not everybody stays in their lane.
And the great thing about working with a digital marketing agency,
they're going to be able to identify where your strengths
are and where your weaknesses are, where you're solid, where
you need to improve, and their whole idea is to

(29:27):
help you improve your status your presence generate more sales,
more revenue, win win for everyone across the board. So
we're excited about Steve and his team being available to
do that for people once again. You can contact me
at nine five four five ah eight eight oh two,
or go to www dot Greater South Florida Chamber dot com.

(29:47):
Click on five Star Visibility at the bottom of the
home page, follow the link, or you can contact Steve.
He can be reached at YEP.

Speaker 8 (29:55):
You can give me a call directly, talk right to
me on my desk at nin eight nine five five
five five is my office phone, and you can go
to five Star Visibility dot com five with the number five.
What we really want to do is give you some
direction that you can follow and execute yourself, or you
can look to get an agency that you're comfortable with.

(30:16):
Hopefully it's us, and we can help you improve your
business and give you a path to better success.

Speaker 2 (30:23):
Steve, I want to thank you for your time this morning.
I have a wonderful weekend and try to stay driving.

Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It's Saturday, the
twenty seventh of September, and we're privileged to be here
this morning at iHeart Radio in West Palm Beach, Florida,
where we're now streaming on the iHeart app.

Speaker 3 (31:16):
My name is Rob.

Speaker 2 (31:16):
I'm the director of Operations with the Greater South Florida
Chamber of Commerce. This is one of our weekly radio
programs called the Best of South Florida Business. Have with
us one of our longtime members his name is Bruce Starr,
and Bruce does a lot of things. He's accomplished. It's
been in the industry for a number of years. He's
an excellent speaker, he's a business coach. It's been on

(31:36):
radio podcast for a number of years. And one of
the things that we're talking about today is the Body
and Soul Expo, which is transpiring on Sunday, October twenty six,
twenty twenty five, from nine am to nine pm at
Palm Beach Gardens Marriott off of Barcia Boulevard. It's a
health and wellness and longevity expo that I'm interested in attending,

(31:57):
and it's put on by Bruce Starr and Laurence Star.
There the found You can go to bodyansoulexpo dot org
or you can call Bruce directly at area code five
six one three one six seven zero one zero. Want
to get right into it, Bruce, So talk a little
bit about this venture you've got going, and I know
you've got other things that are happening as well.

Speaker 10 (32:16):
Go ahead, sir, Yes, thank you so much, Rob for
having me on. You know I've been on the radio.
It's so funny to think about since nineteen ninety three.

Speaker 3 (32:24):
Yep.

Speaker 10 (32:24):
And I've been in show business since nineteen eighty one,
when I went out to Los Angeles with stars in
my eyes and my name is Bruce Starr, and I
wanted to be in show business. And after a year
or so hanging out at the Improvisation on Melrose Boulevard,
I made friends with all the comedians there, and right

(32:45):
before my eyes, a show called Evening at the improv
came on and they used every one of my friends
in the show. It was like everybody had like ten
twelve minutes to do their comedy. And people from all
over the country said, I want one of those comedy
stores in my town, and they opened up all over

(33:08):
the country. And these guys they wanted to work, they
wanted to make the money, but they were not about
to call these club owners. And here I was their
friend and my roommate who wrote for all the comedian
and said, why don't you do it? I said, I
don't want to do it, just do it. And I said, listen,

(33:29):
everybody hates their agent. I don't want to be their agent.
So I did eventually become their personal appearance agent, and
I represented thirty five of the best in the eighties,
and I have an eighties Golden Age Ofcomedy dot com
website where you can see all the interviews I've done
with them. So I've had a lot of background, a

(33:49):
lot of show business experience. And then my wife and
I we would go to expos over the years, and
we realized that we lived in North Palm Beach County
and they never had a large scale health and wellness
expo in North Palm Beach County. And what a rich area,

(34:12):
what an abundant area. I mean literally, you could walk
down the street and you'll see a chiropractor on one corner,
a psychic on another, and a health practitioner on another.
And my wife and I just said we could do this.

Speaker 3 (34:28):
And there we went.

Speaker 10 (34:29):
We decided to do it, and we got together with
a twenty seven year old gen zer. I think that's it.

Speaker 5 (34:37):
Is it?

Speaker 10 (34:37):
A gen zer?

Speaker 3 (34:38):
Yeah, that's it.

Speaker 10 (34:39):
I can't keep up with the different generations. And he
was our a detailed guy, the computer guy, the internet guy.

Speaker 3 (34:47):
And Lauren and I, my wife and I we.

Speaker 10 (34:49):
Knew everybody, and we knew all about the expo. So
the three of us put together a plan, and you know,
when something is right, rob It sold.

Speaker 3 (34:59):
Out in weeks.

Speaker 10 (35:00):
That's good. That's real good. Up here in a brand
new market. They never had an expo up here like
this before, and we knew it and we recognized it.
We called on all our friends, and then they called
on all their friends and literally sold out sixty venue
spaces in six weeks. And then we went to the

(35:21):
hotel and said, hey, we need more room, and they
found some more room for us in the lobby. But
we are going to have incredible speakers from all over
the country. People are coming from all over the country,
top top people. One of the things that I've done
for the vendors was I've given each one of them

(35:41):
a podcast. So if you go to a Body and
Soul Expo on YouTube, our own YouTube channel, I've already
done about forty of these interviews and you want to
be fascinated by these incredible geniuses and incredible practitioners, go
to that and you will see the kind of quality

(36:01):
people speakers.

Speaker 3 (36:03):
We will have at the expo.

Speaker 10 (36:05):
It's just we're so excited about it.

Speaker 2 (36:07):
Yeah, no, I am too, And you're right about that,
because that's been a void here that needed to be
filled because in Palm Beach Palm Beach Gardens in North
Palm Beach County really about doing a EC. You'll see
some lifestyle expos, like we do a lot of those
at fifty five and over where you get twenty thirty
fifty vendors if it's a bigger depending upon the space,

(36:27):
but they're held early in the day and it's pour. Yes,
it's for the fifty five and over community, whereas this
is a much broader spectrum. Or the other thing is,
you know, you can go to Abacoa and they're outdoor festivals,
but it's like it's a combination of you could be
next to a home improvement company, across from you could
be a bank, and the lady next to you could
be making their homemade candles.

Speaker 10 (36:48):
So you are so focused. Yeah, this is this looks
really good. We looked at professionally twenty categories, and within
the twenty categories, there was a bunch of different subcategories
and we stuck with it. I love real estate agents,
but there's no real estate agents. I love insurance agents.
There's no insurance agents smart and we're only having one
or two of each specialty. And then on top of that,

(37:13):
we're having an evening of world class keynote speakers. There's
a man named Danny and Brinkley who wrote the book
Saved by the Light This guy was hit by lightning
in his own home and died for twenty seven minutes Wow,
and came back to talk about it and wrote a

(37:33):
book with doctor Moody, and he started this. You know,
not everybody's paying attention to all this near death experience stuff.
People are finding out what really happens after this life.
You either believe in that or you don't. But there's
a whole group of people that do believe in it,
and he started it.

Speaker 3 (37:50):
He's going to be speaking.

Speaker 10 (37:52):
He's doing a two hour presentation in a ballroom seating
three hundred people. Doctor Eric Pearl, who wrote book The Reconnection,
is going to be there. Sarah's spiritual is going to
be there. Everybody knows her. And I'm going to have
Art Shamsky. Some people say, who's Art Shamsky?

Speaker 2 (38:11):
Why do I know that name?

Speaker 10 (38:12):
Art Shamsky was on the nineteen sixty nine miracle mets.
There you go, and he's one of the rare that's
still alive and he's in good shape. He's going to
be making an appearance at our expo. You could take
pictures with him. He's going to sign autographs, he has books.
This is going to be such a fun expo.

Speaker 3 (38:33):
Now he's he was with Tom sever and Tug.

Speaker 10 (38:37):
Mcgrown though exactly he started with Nolan Ryan. And I
did a few interviews with him and he said, we
had Nolan Ryan, but he wasn't the Nolan Ryan that
he became later on. If you were in the Yorker,
Nolan Ryan was a wild flamethrower.

Speaker 2 (38:56):
And people can never remember who the nineteen sixty nine
Mets beat the Baltimore are correct, Yes, Brooks Brooks Robinson,
you know, the best team and they won the year
after they were the best team Brooks Robinson.

Speaker 10 (39:11):
I mean you name some of the all stars and
the pitchers didn't like all four of them win like
twenty games.

Speaker 2 (39:18):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, two of them were say Young Award winners.
I mean it's just like and yeah, no, they had
that team was stacked and the miracle Mets beat them.
That was ironic.

Speaker 10 (39:27):
And Art used to go up to those guys when
they'd see them in like the gatherings years later, and
they'd kid each other because you know, no one expected
the miracle Mets to do anything that year.

Speaker 2 (39:41):
Well, but it's ironic because you're from New York Es.
If a memory serves me correct, the Jets also won
it sixty nine, No one, no one ever remembers that.
The Jets and the Mets and the Rangers, or was
it the Knicks, the Knicks, the Knicks. Yeah, the Jets,
the Knicks and the Mets. Wow, all in one year.

Speaker 10 (40:03):
And what Art just told me in the interview, none
of these teams ever won before. The Jets never won before,
the Mets certainly didn't win before, and I don't think
the Knicks ever won a championship before.

Speaker 2 (40:16):
I don't think they did either, because the Celtics had
won for like ten years.

Speaker 3 (40:19):
Yes, exactly.

Speaker 10 (40:20):
So what a miracle year that was nineteen sixty nine
for any New Yorker who was alive and could appreciate sports.

Speaker 2 (40:27):
One of my favorite cities and I still like to
go there, and it's like it's improving, but it's got
ways to go.

Speaker 3 (40:33):
It'll come back, I hope, so, I hope.

Speaker 5 (40:35):
So.

Speaker 2 (40:35):
I'm a little nervous though, with the prospect of the
potential new mayor. I'm hoping that that doesn't sure I
know you and I both, sir, you and I both,
but all we can do is this at this point
is pray and hope this sounds sounded, reason and judgment
comes to light.

Speaker 3 (40:51):
We'll leave it at that.

Speaker 10 (40:52):
Hey, I wonder if I can offer your listeners, sure,
like a free ticket. Sure if they mentioned the Body
and Soul Expo when they heard about it on iHeart Radio.
Sure when they come to the front desk, there's a
ticket for ten dollars where they could roam the whole
vendor space, Okay, or twenty five dollars if they want

(41:13):
the whole vendor space and all the speakers. If they
mention that they listen to you on iHeartRadio, I will
give them a twenty five dollars ticket, absolutely free, just
for mentioning iHeart Radio. There you go, just mention Greater
South Florida Chamber, Best of South Florida Business, mentioned my name,
Rob and mentioned Bruce Starr, and you'll be taken care of.

(41:36):
He'll make sure it happens for you. Because I have
a feeling this is gonna be a very, very successful event.
I've been around a lot of events for a number
of years down here, I've done this for a long
long time and I've done it nationwide, and obviously the
whole key is is the planning that went behind this
and the way it's set up. And it's a great venue.
It's a wonderful hotel, it's in a great air arm Beats, guards,

(41:57):
Marriott beautiful.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
You're pulling from Jupiter Jupiter Farms to quest Us. So yeah,
you're pulling from some really really really really.

Speaker 10 (42:05):
Good and they're ready, right Yeah. Yeah, everybody's ready to
experience a large scale health and wellness and longevity export
where they can really learn and be with each other.
This is gonna be a happening, baby. This is gonna
be like Woodstock. People are gonna come together, they're gonna
meet each other, they're gonna see each other. Yep, and

(42:26):
it's gonna be quite. And it went so well that
we're gonna do more of them.

Speaker 2 (42:30):
That's a good thing.

Speaker 3 (42:31):
That's a good thing.

Speaker 2 (42:32):
I know you and I have talked about I'd love
to collaborate with you on some stuff my pleasure. I
have some really good ideas and some good ideas for
some good venues that we could go to. And you know,
and Bruce has an impeccable reputation. He and his wife
go back a long ways. He's been around for a
long time and he's been successful for a number of years.
And success does not happen by accident. So if you're

(42:54):
out there and you're on the fence of whether you
want to try to get a spot, I'm sure there
may be limited spots left. It sounds like it's almost
at ninety percent capacity.

Speaker 10 (43:04):
Anybody can come in at tend right, but the booths
are all sold out, okay, But we're already looking at
the end of March, okay to start doing more events.
So if what I suggest, if you would like to
be a vendor, thank you for giving me this opportunity.
We like to be a vendor at a future event,
and they're going to be coming because this one is
going to be such a success. Go to Body and

(43:26):
and Body andsoulexpo dot org and click on register and
let us know about you. Put yourself on our radar
so that we can contact you and let you know
about future events.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
Absolutely, absolutely, we're really excited about it. You know, I'm
hearing that music, so that means we're coming to the
end of this particular interview. I'm looking forward to having
Bruce on in future segments once again. Before we sign
off this morning, Bruce, I want you to give out
your contact information and let people know how they can
get a hold of you, and once again focus. It's

(44:03):

nine am to nine pm Palm Beach Gardens, Marriott and
you can reach to Bruce directly at five six one
three one six seven zero one zero. We'll go to
body Andsolexpo dot org. Bruce and Laurence Starr go ahead, Bruce.

Speaker 10 (44:23):
Yeah, that's it, Bodyansoulexpo dot org.

Speaker 3 (44:26):

Speaker 10 (44:28):
If you want to be a vendor at a future event,
fill out the vendor form so we know all about you.

Speaker 3 (44:33):
And we're looking.

Speaker 10 (44:34):

and wellness and longbeing people. We want to work with
all of you. And thank you Rob so much for
having me on your show.

Speaker 2 (45:32):
Good morning, Welcome back to the show. It's Saturday, September
twenty seventh, twenty twenty five. I am Rob the Director
of Operations with the Greater South Florida Chamber of Commerce.
This is one of our weekly radio programs. The best
of South Florida business have with us. One of our
corporate trust the Ambassadors Next Dental have with me Carl Smith.
He and his family have a number of dental practices

(45:52):
here in South Florida, but one of their specialties is
working with seniors and working with people who need severe
dental surgeries. What I'd like to do is get out
of the way, Carol, give you an opportunity to introduce yourself,
and I want to talk a little bit about the
grand opening he just did at the facility there on
State Road seven right off OFT four forty one in
Sunrise Boulevard. Beautiful facility, state of the art, and I

(46:15):
know there's a number of things that you do that
other organizations don't, But what I'd like for you to
do is introduce yourself. Talk a little bit about the
family background and where your practices are located and the
different services that you offer, and any promotions that you're running.

Speaker 8 (46:29):
Oh.

Speaker 6 (46:29):
Absolutely, thanks so much, Rob, appreciate you. My name is
Barrel Smith and I'm the VP of Marketing and Development
with Nixtental and Nick Dental's a family owned practice. We've
been operating now for over forty five plus years. It
started off with my father as the original dentist and
maybe about ten years ago went into retirement and at

(46:52):
the same time, my brother had been going through dental school,
just my fault figuring out what he was going to
do with his patience that he had, and I was
going to continue his legacy. My brother kind of took
on that mantle, so doctor Edwin Smith became the new
name and face of the brand, and together we're able
to just partner up together to really serve the community.
Started off with one dental practice serving about two thousand

(47:15):
patients in the North Miami Beach area, and since then
we've actually grown from one location three operatory rooms to
now having three office locations. Our second office that we
ended up opening and ended up replacing the original one,
we ended up to like ten ouperatory rooms still in
North Miami Beach, but it gave us the capacity to
serve at a higher level, and together my brother and

(47:36):
I within a three four year window of time, I've
been able to serve eight thousand customers within the community.
Fast forward a few years now, Like I mentioned, you know,
we went from one major office in the North Miami
Beach area, so now we have two in Miami. We
have one that we just launched in Fort Lauderville, And
for us, it's all about our passion for really just

(47:57):
serving the community at the highest level. We know a
lot of people are dealing with pain, a lot of
people are dealing with discomfort, They're dissatisfied with the way
that their teeth feel, the way that their teeth look,
and more importantly, they're dealing with a lot of health.

Speaker 5 (48:11):
Issues that are actually triggled, triggered because.

Speaker 6 (48:14):
Of poor oral health and poor oral hygiene, you know.
And by getting the patient education out to the people
that we work with, we've been able to really just
help them, you know, get out of pain, you know,
get a smile that they can really get excited about,
get greater health experience, you know, experience greater health for themselves,
and really just feel great and confident about the smile

(48:37):
that they have. So, you know, we're really excited about that.
And you know, we have a lot of free gifts
going on, and we have free promotional pricing for people
that are in a place where they know that they
need to come back in front of check up. And
so for anyone that is curious about that, let me
go ahead and just give you a contact number for
us so that you can reach us without any issues.

(48:57):
You can get in contact with us at nine to
five four six three six six three four to two.
Again that's nine five four six three six six three
four to two. And our whole passion is just to
help get you back to a brighter smile.

Speaker 2 (49:12):
You know, Carl, that's awesome, and I love the history
with the family. I think that's neat that it's going
from generation to generation. That's always a cool thing. But
one of the things that impressed me the most, and
obviously when you think of going to the dentists two
types of people like me, I have to have some
stuff done and planning on getting done through your facility
here and the near future. I'm the guy that has

(49:32):
his fingers clenched into the chair because I don't enjoy
going to the dentist. Although I must say that your
brother's bedside manner is extremely excellent and he did have
a calming of feeling about him that brought me to
not be as uptight. Because some people just get uptight
when they go to the dentist. I'm one of them.
But long story short, the fact that a lot of
times you have to go back and forth, you have

(49:53):
to go multiple times to have certain things done. You
have a unique situation and not very many facilities offer that.

Speaker 3 (49:59):
But you have the state of.

Speaker 2 (50:00):
The art equipment that's all brand new, but you also
have an in house dental lab which can expedite the
process for people.

Speaker 3 (50:06):
Correct.

Speaker 6 (50:07):
Yeah, that's actually correct. So I'm glod that you're able
to point that out. So our facilities are actually equipped
with the latest technology. We have in house dental labs
that allow us to provide same day services, so things
like dentures, crowns, bridges, implants. So when people come in
and typically they would go to a dental office any
other dental office, they would see, you know, I'm experiencing pain,

(50:29):
and then the dentists would have to see what's coming
from and then they put you on a treatment plan
and you know, and they'd have to do some measurements
and some molds and send out the work to a
lab and then have you come back in three, five
days or a week. And so you come back for
a second appointment, and then they come back and if
your dentists don't fit perfectly, then if that they have
to send it back out, then you'd have to come

(50:51):
back to the office again, you know, on another week.
And so you're making two, three four visits just to
basically get one set of dentures right, or implants or
crowns or do your bridges. And so with us, because
we have our in house dental lab one. It saves
us a lot of time. You don't have to come
back for multiple visits if you schedule us on the
right day, If we schedule you on the right day,
we can have you do everything same day. You walk

(51:14):
in with pain, you walk out with brand new dentures,
brand new teeth, and you're good to go. And then
the other thing is, you know, because we have our
in house labs, it actually makes things a lot more
cost effective for us right as a business, as a company,
and our whole mission is to help serve the community.
So we take that savings and we pass it right
along to our customer. We're actually, you know, off the
forty percent cheaper than the majority of our competitors that

(51:36):
are out there charging you know, much higher prices for
the same exact work, and we have the ability to
get it done at a much faster rate. So we
are excited about that. When we realize that patients really
had that bad experience, we knew that we had to
do something about it. And so, yeah, I'm glad.

Speaker 5 (51:54):
You brought that up.

Speaker 2 (51:55):
Yeah, and I was really at ease because obviously not
to be redundant, I'm just one of those people. I
just don't enjoy going to the dentist. I can't explain it,
probably because I have some dental issues that I'm dealing with,
as I have had through a number of years. Throughout
my life, I've had to deal with things in that arena,
but usually I don't have a calming feeling when I
go in. But from top to bottom, from the minute

(52:17):
you walked in the door, to your reception staff, to
your dental hygienis, to the assistance to your brother, to
the other people I met, everybody. And the thing about
the facility too, is talk about state.

Speaker 3 (52:28):
Of the art.

Speaker 2 (52:28):
Everyone's brand new machinery that I've never seen before. It's amazing.
It was really really a cool experience. So anybody out
there in the listening audience, if you've got something going
on that you need to get done, and you think
that you're not really wanting to do it, but you're
